Speaker 1 (00:01):
When you need to know she's got you. It's three
things with tip.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
Good morning. I got something I think might be helpful
for ticketing, especially during Bengal season later on this year.
Give me a hot second. We're just before seven o'clock.
We've got temperatures in the thirties right now. It feels
like there's just going to be kind raw and wet
and cold for the majority of the week. With rain.
We'll see Hi's in the fifties today. And let's actually
just start off with the weather. At this time yesterday,
(00:28):
the National Weather Service hadn't made their way out after
Sunday nights storms, but at this point we know that
there have been there was confirmed three tornadoes that touched
down in Cincinnati EF one.
Speaker 3 (00:41):
First tornado Sunday and I began at a forty near
Hamilton Waiton Road, just north of New Miami and Butler County,
causing damage to several mobile homes as some had substantial
roof and siding damage and at least two were moved
from their foundation. But we're still standing moving.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
That's my guy, Sean Gallagher from seven hundred. Wow. We're
potentially going to see some another round to severe weather
later on in the week when there's more on that. One,
I will have it for you. Second and three things
you need to know this morning. So President Trump, you'll
hear this. Signed an executive order last night where the
Federal Trade Commission has to be more fair, more rigorous
(01:19):
enforcement of the Act Bock Hello Bots Act of twenty sixteen,
which allows the FTC to take action against individuals and
companies that use bots to buy concert tickets in bulk
and then resell them. What happens to us when that happens,
will you know, price gouging?
Speaker 4 (01:38):
It charges the FTC and the Department of Justice with
rigorously enforcing laws on the books in collaboration with state
attorneys general that have power over consumer protection and other
people who have the power to really crack down on
this issue so that entertainers and fans won't be subject
to these abusive and oftentimes illegal press practice.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
Is good.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
This, I feel like is gonna affect Cincinnatians the most.
Through Bengals season, right, There're gonna be a lot of
fans trying to get in there to see not only
Joe Burrow, but Jamar Chase and t Higgins. I feel
like people are going to travel from other states and
other teams to come and see their teams play against us.
So hopefully this will be helpful. Of course, this isn't
(02:23):
the first time we talked about ticketing. Last year, the DOJ,
along with thirty other states and district attorneys, filed an
antitrust lawsuit against Ticketmaster from the Taylor Swift experience. All right,
so hopefully that provides a little bit of reprieve for you. Lastly,
in three things you need to Know at Miley Cyrus
getting ready to release her ninth studio album. It's a
(02:44):
visual album coming out in May, and she released two
tracks yesterday. The title track called something Beautiful Here it
is Now this sounds very jarring, but remember this is
going to be an accompaniment with a visual album. She
(03:06):
also has a new track coming out on Thursday night
called End of the World. Here's a quick preview. I
think that that one's going to be a good one,
and I'll of course have that for you on Friday.
That is three things you need to know for the
first of April. Good morning, Hi, good morning. You're waking
(03:28):
up with Tip in the morning on a kiss one
oh seven one commercial free for the rest of the hour,
and I highly recommend searching us on the iHeartRadio app.
Not only will you get the music that you like,
a little bit of content, conversation, etc. You can leave
me talkback messages. And today's April Fool's Day. You know,
you gotta keep your head on a swivel today.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
Happy Tuesday.
Speaker 5 (03:49):
I am never up this early, but my boss asked
me to come into work a little early today, and
thinking about it now, I'm.
Speaker 6 (03:58):
Really hoping it's not an April Fools joke, because if
it is April Fools.
Speaker 1 (04:03):
On them, I quit.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
Have a good day. Guys, Thank you, I needed that.
I appreciate that you talk back with TIV on the
iHeartRadio app. But like I had mentioned earlier, the microphone
is in the top right hand corner next to the
play button. You just hold that one down. Okay. If
you're running game at your office, or you're running game
within your friend or family group, you gotta let me
know if you're April Fools in anyone. I myself have not,
(04:27):
but I'm keeping my head on a swivel. You know.
I work with Kid Chris from WEBN and Mike McConnell
from seven hundred WLW you gotta stay vigilance. Okay, outside
of us being commercial free coming up at seven point forty,
this is not an April fool's joke. I have your
chance to win a pair of tickets to ten plus
concerts at Riverbend this summer Dave Matthews Band, Lumineers, Avril Levine,
(04:50):
Keith Ibb and Moore. When you make your music bracket
at Kisscincinnati dot com, you'll be in the running to
win these tickets, and then we'll do Kisses Bank your
bracket challenge at seven forty. Does that make sense, We'll
play at seven forty. You can get a jump by
filling out your bracket on our website. All right. In
the meantime, we're still commercial free.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
Good morning, you're waking up with fifth in the morning,
Kiss seven one.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
There's a rat that lives in this city. Sarah arata
tat tat tata tat tat okay a rat.
Speaker 7 (05:23):
I am sat for the rats, wail me and I
have a rat.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
No. I've been waiting to tell you this story because
one you were gone in two I needed a little
bit of time and separation from the rat incident to
let the dust settle Okay, I'm interested in here. So
if you're familiar with the story, maybe two weeks ago
I told you about my friend YEP that had gone
(05:52):
on a trip had a wonderful experience with a man,
and then that person reached out to my friend and
wanted to meet up in Cincinnati because he was traveling here.
And my friend was like, ooh, should I do it
or should I just keep whatever happened on our trip
is what it is.
Speaker 7 (06:12):
Well, and this person had made multiple social media accounts.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
No, we didn't make in that friend, And if you
are curious about the full story, you can get caught
up on the TIF in the Morning podcast at your leisure.
So last week my friend did end up meeting up
with that guy, and she know, she was very excited.
She was like, listen, let's you know, let's do it,
but you only live once. I would love to meet
(06:38):
you and have you know, sit across from you have
better conversation and et cetera.
Speaker 7 (06:42):
While you're not like drunk on a beach, you know, right,
like when your friend is in that scene, things feel
a lot different, They feel more magical.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
So how did they just go? So my friend is
sitting across from him, and he's like, I have a
story to tell. You have a funny story. And I
was like, oh yeah, Like what's your funny story? He goes,
So I was out last night with some potential like
coworkers or something, and they had said to him, Hey,
are you going back to your hometown tomorrow? And he said, no,
(07:14):
I actually met this girl in Florida and she lives here,
and I was actually hoping to, you know, meet up
with her and you know, just get get to know
her and meet up. Sarah, there's a rat in this city.
Oh no, what happens? Someone in that car ratted out
my friend. Oh no, and said and said, wait a minute.
(07:41):
They had put two and two together that Wait a minute,
you're the person that Tiffany was talking about on the radio,
aren't you. What are the odds? What are the odds? Sarah?
Speaker 7 (07:52):
This is insane.
Speaker 8 (07:56):
My friend was ratted We have a rat's t test.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
In this city. The whole night started. That's how the
night started. My friend is sitting across from this person
at the light Ol Park Hotel having a drink and
he said, hey, you know, you know I was in
the car last night with you know, some strangers essentially
that I had just met and they had asked me, Hey,
are you leaving? And I said, no, I'm going to
meet up with this girl that I had met in Florida. YadA, YadA, YadA.
(08:24):
And the person in the car had put two and
two together that I had been talking about this situation
on the radio. So did your friend text you right away?
Like you won't believe this? He knows what do you
mean my friend, the friend that was on the date
with him? Yes, right away, right away, not even a text,
It was a voice. Now I know I have to
(08:46):
like run away to the bathroom.
Speaker 7 (08:49):
Because I would have done the same, and I would
have like found a window.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
To crawl out of. Are you following the story? Did
I did that? All of that make sense to you? Absolutely?
Speaker 3 (08:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (08:59):
Your friend had a nightstand thinking that they would never
talk again. Turns out he found her on social media
said Hey, I just happen to be in Cincinnati, which
what are the odds of that happens to be in Cincinnati?
Speaker 2 (09:11):
Wants to connect?
Speaker 7 (09:12):
So they do, and turns out Historia has been all
over the airwaves.
Speaker 2 (09:17):
Here what a welcome into the Queen City. Hello, and
just the bat here that someone was listening in the
car during that time when you and I had chatted
about the initial story and then three minute chat too.
So I patch it right at that top and basically
regurgitated it back to him. And of course they had
talked about the fact that there was, you know, some
(09:37):
intimacy involved, and so this rat is telling this story
to him and he's just sitting there and I could tell,
I mean, my friend could tell that he was visibly
uncomfortable with the situation. Sure, and it definitely put like
a different energy on the night. Yeah, So how did
the rest of the date go?
Speaker 7 (09:57):
Did she leave? Did she stick around? Like what happened
that night between them?
Speaker 2 (10:00):
Stuck around for a little bit of conversation, shared one drink,
about two hours worth of it, and then you know,
my friend could just tell that the energy was slightly off,
still great, the magic was gone. The beach magic had disappeared.
And I don't know if that's because it just is
what it is, or if there was a rat in
the city that just rattas at it all over this.
Speaker 7 (10:20):
The tone was set immediately with the rat. Yeah, that's tough.
It just wasn't meant to be wasn't meant to be.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
But it's a good story forever. Yeah, and my friend
is forever grateful for the experience, and you know, who
knows what's to come in the future. But I just
cannot believe that we have all family of rats ratted
to me in Cincinnati.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
Lynn, you need to know she's got you. It's three
things with Tip.
Speaker 2 (10:50):
Good morning, Drake put out the new music video for
No Kia. I'll describe it here in a hot sec
Good morning, we're just before eight o'clock eight thirty. You're
a chance to win a pair of Cyclones tickets for
fan and preciation night this coming Saturday. Before we get
to Drake, let's start off with our Reds crushing it
last night. And speaking of crushing it, Ellie de la
Cruz two homers, seven RBIs. That's a record for him.
(11:13):
Instead of going for the cycle with the triple, he
ended up just doing that second homer. And listen to
the moment here.
Speaker 9 (11:21):
Frank Coda love to play carters. He has an affinity
for cribbage. You might even find him at a casino
now and then. So this is the players completely playing
off of their manager of letting the bills fly.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
Is that a gold bill shooting gun?
Speaker 9 (11:42):
Yes, And don't be surprised if you don't see another
prop along the way, maybe a slot machine.
Speaker 2 (11:48):
Ellie d la Cruz at the homer and then the
you know, inside the bull not the bullpen, inside the dugout.
They were blasting off dollar bills at Ellie de la
Cruz with like a money thing. It was funny. If
you haven't seen it online, I'm sure you will at
some point. So they asked him, they said, well, what
about these torpedo bats have you heard of? I mean,
it's like all the internet is talking about because the
Yankees use these torpedo bats, which essentially changes the weight
(12:10):
placement in the bat. I mean, and the Yanks for
just crushing homers. I'm a Red Sox fan, Ride or die,
so you know how I feel about the Yankees. And
they had asked him last night, Ellie, you used one
of the torpedo bats for the home runs? What are
your thoughts?
Speaker 6 (12:23):
Soabrino talk about in screen training, but I haven't. I
haven't really used it to today.
Speaker 9 (12:30):
Yeah, did you use it because of what the Yankees did?
Speaker 3 (12:33):
We get No.
Speaker 6 (12:33):
I just want to want to feel like, how is it.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
I just love Ellie da La Cruz like we need
to protect him at all costs. So congratulations to the Reds.
Congrats to Ellieu. We took the win against the Rangers
fourteen to three. We play again today at six point forty.
All right. Second in three things you need to know,
Drake released the music video for Nokia and it was
shot with Imax cameras. Although it was not in Imax.
(13:01):
You couldn't go watch the music video, but he did
shoot it in Imax, which is interesting to me because
when you're watching an Imax on your phone, unless you
have maybe a really really nice phone, I don't know
if it necessarily makes the difference.
Speaker 3 (13:16):
The fun shou shime maybe.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
So it's it's cool. It's in black and white. It
looks like he's having a good time. You know. The
music video kind of reminds me of Hotline Bling, where
there's some very similar energy coming from Drake. It was
all black and white, though not necessarily in color, but
there looks like there was maybe a little bit of
a moment that the Internet might dissect towards Kendrick Lamar.
(13:44):
You know the famous part of the Super Bowl halftime
show where he's walking in circles. Drake kind of does that,
so the Internet has picked up on it. Either way.
The song is a banger No Kia by Drake. Music
videos out when you want to see it all right. Lastly,
in three Things You Need to Know, Ed Sheeron's and
season this song Azizum Azizam, which we will get Friday.
(14:04):
And he's been putting up marketing all over the globe.
In fact, he did a pop up bar in Boston,
Massachusetts and a town called Ipswich which is by the
beach because he's from Ipswich, England. He made an entire
bar for the weekend. And I'll have this song for
you on Friday. That is three things you need to
(14:25):
Know for April one. Happy April Fools.
Speaker 1 (14:28):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning.
Speaker 2 (14:30):
Kiss one one okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. I'm learning
about something kind of at the same time as you,
but I'm gonna do my best to guide us through this.
The keyword that you'll need for the Cyclones tickets around
eight thirty is I'll take John John and Friends or
I'll take seven hundred WLW both either either neither whatever.
(14:55):
If you didn't know this. I think I think John
John might be leaving Kiss. I found something in our
system this morning. And if you didn't know this, iHeartMedia
is the parent company to a few radio stations in
the building, so this will make sense to take you
behind the curtain a little bit. There's Kiss one oh
seven to one, which both John John and I work at.
(15:16):
There's our sister station, WEBN with Kid Chris and Sarah
and Shroom, and then there's a few others, some sports stations.
But the other big player, I mean they're like ESPN
is really big. Fox is big. But seven hundred WLW
is an iconic radio station in this city, iconic, iconic,
And Mike McConnell, our morning show guy, a dear friend
(15:41):
of mine and work buddy of mine, is leaving. He
made that announcement on opening day. Mike McConnell is retiring.
So there have been whispers, whispy to spies, whispering around
on who's going to replace him in mornings, which would
be a huge deal, huge if whoever gets this job.
(16:06):
And I would be shocked if John John, I would
just be shocked if he was going for this job
and didn't tell me because I would consider us close.
But listen to this.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
Meet your new morning show. Hi, I'm John John.
Speaker 10 (16:22):
Start your day with me on the new seven hundred
WLW Morning show where it's uh, it's just gonna be me.
Speaker 1 (16:28):
And I'm literally the worst choice for this. I'd wear an.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
Lsuit seeing it here. I know him.
Speaker 1 (16:34):
You don't know that because you don't listen to me.
Speaker 10 (16:36):
So mornings are better with seven hundred WLW.
Speaker 11 (16:43):
Like what, John John, I'm confused.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
I'm confused, but I don't like I wouldn't text him
or anything if I were you, because I don't know
if I was supposed to find this. Obviously we all
use like the same system, Like I'm assuming you have
some sort of like shared system at your job as well,
And I don't know if I came across something that
I wasn't supposed to. But yeah, I'm gonna try and
(17:19):
get in touch with him. This man has not responded
to my text messages this morning, and I know Mike
McConnell's leaving. I just I can't imagine John John hosting
mornings at seven hunderd WLW. I mean we'd tag and
we would tag team mornings together, and if that's the case.
(17:40):
I'm wicked happy for him because he's very good at
what he does. I'm just I think I'm just a
little bit shocked, So I don't know. I'm gonna do
my best to get in touch. He has yet to
respond to me. And here's what we're gonna do. In
the meantime. We're commercial free per USU cyclones. Tickets are
coming up at eight thirty and I'll take either John
(18:00):
John and friends or I'll take seven hundred WLW as
the keyword, either one. As long as you're here for
the tickets, I'll take it. Good Morning. You're waking up
with Tim in the morning on kissue oh seven one.
So John, if you're just walking into this, I had
played something that I'm not one hundred percent sure I
was supposed to find where I think John John might
potentially be leaving Kissuano seven one to replace Mike McConnell,
(18:22):
who just announced his retirement at our sister station, Iconic
seven hundred WLW. Good morning, Mike, Good morning. John will
not answer any of my text messages this morning. The
man is refusing to reach out to me. Your last
day is on Friday. What do you know?
Speaker 6 (18:37):
I think he laughs too much. I think he'd be excellent.
Other than that, he's a very upbeat, up tempo kind
of a guy. I appreciate that part of him. I
don't know about his depth, if you.
Speaker 8 (18:48):
Know what I mean, Mike, you are a musical depth
he has, he does. He has yellow tights and musical depth.
But what does it take to do your job? I
mean it's much yellow.
Speaker 6 (19:02):
Tights and musical death. We'll just kind of be a
wide ranging kind of guy. But yeah, he Mardy gra
the tights were a one of a kind.
Speaker 2 (19:10):
He's a one of a kind of guy. First of all,
I want to say, I'm sad that you're leaving because
you're my work buddy, and I will truly miss you
every day.
Speaker 6 (19:17):
I like seeing you too, each and every morning. Thank
you in the kitchen we get together. In the kitchen
we do.
Speaker 2 (19:23):
Mike and I meet every morning around seven am in
exchange pleasantries and what we're talking about for the day.
And after talking to you for years every morning, I
just can't imagine meeting John John in that same position.
Speaker 6 (19:36):
Well, let's hope with somebody else then, Mike, I'm sad.
I wouldn't want to lose him from here.
Speaker 2 (19:42):
Do you have any advice for him if he'd ends
up taking your job? If this is true, turn it down.
Speaker 6 (19:48):
Well, you're getting up. I get up at three twenty
in the morning. Does he want to do that?
Speaker 1 (19:52):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
We're gonna find out. He won't answer any of my
text messages.
Speaker 6 (19:56):
There's no way he gets up at three twenty in
the morning. I mean, that's that's one of the reasons
I'm leaving, all right.
Speaker 2 (20:02):
Mike McConnell somewhat of a help here in us figuring
this out. Your advice to him is put regular pants on, regular.
Speaker 6 (20:09):
Pants on, and just say no to mornings.
Speaker 2 (20:12):
Okay, I like mornings, Mike. I will miss you. I
appreci you up as early as I do. I'm not
far off. I'm like forty minutes after you.
Speaker 6 (20:21):
That makes a big difference in my life.
Speaker 2 (20:23):
You're right different. Well, thank you for your years of
service on seven hundred. I will miss you. I will
miss you too. Thank you, Mike. We haven't gotten an answer.
We literally haven't gotten an answer. If you're just walking
into this conversation, this is what I found in my
system this morning.
Speaker 1 (20:37):
Maybe your new morning show.
Speaker 10 (20:40):
Hi, I'm John, John start your day with me on
the new seven hundred WLW Morning Show, where it's uh,
it's just going to be me and I'm literally the
worst choice for this.
Speaker 1 (20:49):
I wear an ol.
Speaker 10 (20:50):
Suit seewich here I know him. You don't know that
because you don't listen to me. So mornings are better
with seven hundred WLW.
Speaker 2 (21:01):
I can't. I mean, mornings are better with Tiff in
the morning. Let's be honest about that. But I'm yeah,
obviously seven hundred is iconic. Can you imagine John John
and Friends seven hundred Wow? Both keywords. I don't care
which one. You give me your chance to win the
Cyclones tickets are coming up next, and I'm going to
(21:22):
do my best to figure out what the heck is
going on here because you're.
Speaker 4 (21:26):
Waking up with Tiff in the morning on Kiss one
O seven to one.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
Hi, good morning, you're on the air.
Speaker 1 (21:32):
Hi.
Speaker 2 (21:32):
How's it going. It's going well, Mike Gal. I'm hoping
you have a keyword for me? Gone down and friend, congratulations,
you got the keyword. You're collared send You're going to
the Cyclones this Saturday for their fan appreciation night. Awesome,
Thank you so much. You're welcome. What's your name, what
neighborhood you waking up with me in? My name is
Katie and working in Evendale. Katie, thank you so much
(21:53):
for listening to Tiff in the morning. Thank you so
much for doing your thing. I appreciate that. Now you
heard me talk about John John, would you listen to
him at seven hundred? Wow? If that's the case, well.
Speaker 11 (22:04):
No, because I listened to you.
Speaker 7 (22:06):
But for some reason I wasn't listening to you, of course,
because I do catch him after work.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
Sometimes, I you know, catch him on my drive home,
so not ruin it out, but I mean already I
already got a station. I appreciate that. Well, when I
know more, you'll be the first to know if you
took an L on the Cyclones tickets, I will have
them again tomorrow at eight thirty if you want to
set a reminder. Okay, in the meantime, we're still commercial
for you, and we are not far off from the
(22:35):
three things you need to know to get your day started.
And since he coming up around eight fifty.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
When you need to know, she's got you, it's three
things with Tip.
Speaker 2 (22:47):
What's going on with Justin Bieber? Give me a second,
we'll debrief here or just before nine o'clock on this Tuesday,
April Fool's Day, temperatures are only going to be in
the fifties. It's going to feel very raw and ring
like this week, with lots of rain and potentially some
more severe weather on the way later on. When there's
(23:08):
more on that one, I'll keep you updating. Before we
get to Justin, let's start off with Hooters. You'll see
headlines today that they filed for bankruptcy, and my immediate
reaction is like, oh no, it filed for bankruptcy. That's
the end of that. It's not going anywhere in this
bankruptcy process. Hooters plans to sell all of its one
hundred company owned restaurants to two franchisees groups that operate
(23:33):
Hooters locations out of Tampa, Florida, and Chicago. The combined
group collectively operates a third of the US franchise owned locations,
according to this press release. And so I think what's
happening here is that it will give them a little
bit more of a financial foundation to continue delivering the
(23:53):
guest obsessed hospitality experience. This coming from their press release. So,
Hooters on the Riverfront, hopefully we'll be here for years
to come because it has become kind of an iconic
staple of our riverfront. All right, Second, in three things
you need to know this morning? What's going on with
Justin Bieber. I have been ignoring this. I ignore Kanye and
(24:15):
I have been ignoring Justin. But I don't want something
to happen and then have it be that you and
I have never really talked about it. You know what
I'm saying. I'm kind of leaving it alone because hey,
to each his own. But Justin has been acting a
little foolish on the internet lately. Right. He went on
Instagram Live last night and from some of the comments
(24:38):
that I'm hearing about, it was kind of like giving, hey,
we'llsue a drive by wellness update. Like I'm not ready
to put Justin Bieber into the Britney Spears category. But
are we going in this direction? Or is the man
just acting foolish on the internet and we're reading too
much into it. I think we might be towing a
fine line. He's got emotional pictures up, He's been doing
(25:00):
weird things on video. Some are like it's giving Aaron
Carter and we know what happened to Aaron Carter tragically.
I don't know. I don't know if this is all
a part of maybe a rollout campaign, because he is
supposedly releasing new music this summer. I don't know. But
the other rumor came in that Hayley Bieber accidentally unfollowed
(25:22):
Justin on social media. Not something I would ever pick
up on in my life, but there are people that
just troll the Internet looking for this stuff and it's
like a big deal when they find it. Meanwhile, I'm like,
I'm just trying to get to work on time. I
don't know. I just kind of want to put it
out there and put like the good juju out there
around Justin Bieber, make sure he's all right and hopefully
(25:43):
nothing pops off. Lastly, in three things you need to
know this morning if you're a Spider Man fan, Tom Holland,
Spider Man four is no longer untitled. At Comic Con
it was announced that it's titled Now Spider Man a
Brand New Day. Unfortunately, it's not supposed to hit theaters
until summer of next year. Whuff. But that leads me
(26:08):
to talk about Wicked and when Wicked came out, you know,
six months ago, we used to say, oh, man, like
the second half of Wicket, it's gonna it's gonna take forever.
I got a calendar invite for the second half of
wickeed to come in. But we're kind of creeping up
towards more Wicked release information. Right, It's like time is
kind of going quickly. And speaking of Wicked, we're supposed
(26:29):
to get some updated trailer clips this week. When there's
more in that one, you know, I'll have it for
You have been seeing the posters kind of circulating, all right,
and if you know, if the universe has taught us anything,
time is a weird thing. In January, both you and
I were like, are we gonna make it out of
this month? Ever? And then now we're sitting at April first,
we've completed the first quarter of twenty twenty five. That
is three things you need to know for April Fool's Day.
(26:52):
The best way to keep listening to TIF in the
Morning is by searching Kiss one oh seven one on
the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 10 (26:59):
Kiss one o seven It's time for Tuesday tips on
Tip in the Morning.
Speaker 2 (27:03):
Abby does the research so that you and I don't
have to, which means you put in zero effort except
for listening to the show, and she tells us a
few of the bigger things that you can get involved
with in the city this week, whether they're free for families,
for single solos, dog lovers. What do we have today, Abby.
Speaker 5 (27:20):
Hello, Happy Spring. Lots of fun, vintage inspired things this weekend.
I think you're going to really like these ideas. So
first up, the City Mercantile. This is an advantage inspired
living spring market. It's at the Warren County Fairgrounds. I
am a very big fan of spring market. I think
(27:42):
it just like really helps get into the season. And
I don't know, I almost like them better than holiday markets.
And I know people are going to come.
Speaker 2 (27:51):
For me for saying that, but I can see where
you're coming from, because Christmas you've got to buy gifts
for people. In these spring markets, you get to just
buy stuff for yourself and it gets you out the house.
We've got this like winter itch where we want to
be out, you know, I guess the spring want to
be outside.
Speaker 5 (28:10):
Yeah, yeah, they're out.
Speaker 2 (28:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (28:11):
I love it. So yeah, that's going to be taking
place April fourth through sixth at the Warren County Fairgrounds.
This is a really, really cool market, lots of homemade stuff,
handmade to definitely check that one out. And then this
one is so fun opening starting April fourth. Guess what's
coming to Sincey Museum Center.
Speaker 2 (28:33):
What I'm excited?
Speaker 5 (28:34):
What Barbie a Cultural Icon opens. It's going to be
over three hundred vintage dolls, artifacts, and life size fashion
pieces that come to life. No way the Cincinnati Museum Center.
They even have a life size all pink Barbie car
that you can sit inside, sit inside and take photos in.
Speaker 2 (28:57):
I love this idea. Very cool. What were my I
me of what date that is?
Speaker 5 (29:02):
It opened April fourth, and it's going to be here
for a while. But this is something that's traveled the
world and it is insane that we have it in
Cincinnati and I cannot wait to go.
Speaker 2 (29:14):
Very cool. Well, okay, I love it. What else do
we have?
Speaker 5 (29:17):
Okay, another little vintage fun thing happening this weekend since
Audy Art Museum. So this is starting on April fourth
as well. But they have the art of the bike
and so they give you different decades of the bike
so you can see how it's been transformed. And yeah,
that's gonna be something really cool to look at too.
And then you can hop on one of the red
(29:39):
bikes and a stroll around downtown.
Speaker 2 (29:41):
That's smart. And you know what, I always recommend the
Art Museum, not just because it's in my neighborhood, but
it's a free resource. You might have to pay for
the bike exhibit itself and you get in there if
you want to go, but you can walk into the
Art Museum free anytime.
Speaker 5 (29:55):
Yeah, very great solo thing to do or date night
in the There's always so much to explore there, like
so you can go back multiple times. It's not like
the one and done thing.
Speaker 2 (30:07):
So I really love the Art Museum.
Speaker 5 (30:10):
I love all of our museums.
Speaker 2 (30:11):
They do such a good job. Abby from everything sinsing.
She does the research so that you don't have to
put any effort in and you can always check her
out on social while you scroll or everythingsincey dot com.
Thanks my gal, Thank.
Speaker 5 (30:24):
You so much. Have a great weekend and week
