3 Things: Flying Pig Marathon Ranks in the Top 5

So the Flying Pig stacks up pretty high on this
best of list. Give me a minute here, we're just

I essentially slept through the storms last night. I do
remember waking up to some wind, but then kind of
falling back asleep. The big topic out of this, outside
of there just being wild winds and you know, some
trees down in areas, luckily not like crazy crazy damage.
We're still working on reports on whether or not we
had some confirmed tornadoes. I'm hearing of two, but that's

not confirmed at least in my world yet. When there's
more and that, I'll have it for you, of course.
But power outages, right. I also hear that half a
million people across six states are under floodwatch warnings, and
we're included.

In just through Saturday afternoon at four to three and
a half to four and a half inches of rainfall.
That doesn't even include what comes in for Saturday night
and Sunday's forecast. But there's a floodwatch and effect for
a reason.

We're just preparing for a lot of inclement weather through Sunday. Second,

this cool thing on Instagram that caught my attention that
the Flying Pig Marathon has fallen at number two out
of the best marathons in the US, according to USA Today.

Each week, nominees for USA Today's ten Best Reader's Choice
Awards are selected using a panel of industry experts that
nominate their favorite attractions across a wide variety of categories
best riverwalk to coastal small towns to marathons, and everything
in between. Editors then vet these nominations and select a
final set of contenders to present to the voting public

for a period of four weeks, and they chosen marathons
we came in at number two. One is Detroit. Three
is the Saint George Marathon that happens in Utah. There's
another one that has happens in Jacksonville, Beach called the
Donna National Marathon to finish breast cancer, and then the
New York City Marathon, which happens every November. I believe
fell at number five. We're not far off from the

Flying Pig. I mean, at this point you're probably clocking
eighteen miles on Saturday, if not twenty in the midst
of your training. Maybe you're at your second twenty. I
was surprised at Boston didn't fall on this list, but
Boston's extremely hard to get into. Shout out to everyone

Mariah Carey's run ran from nineteen ninety to one, while
Princes ran from eighty three to nineteen ninety four, and
