Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning time, kiss
good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
So trust me when I say this that I would
like to find something other than the weather to talk about,
but it is just the biggest topic of conversation. Yesterday
one hundred and one degrees. My car read I don't
know what the record is. I'll get that free and
three things coming up later on in the show.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
But it's been a.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Couple of days of this, and yeah, it might break
off a little bit by tomorrow, but not much.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
And I'm not complaining.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Don't take this as a complaint because this is coming
from the girl that thought we were never gonna make
it out of January twenty twenty five. But it is
just hot, and it makes it challenging to function. It
makes it challenging to like live life. And I am
speaking four and representing the window air conditioning unit community

(00:49):
in Sincy and northern Kentucky in the Tri State. If
you live in a house with central AC to me,
you're rich. To me, you're living a life of luxury.
You might be thinking yourself, No, I'm not trust me
when I say it, but that is how I feel.
I grew up with window units throughout my whole life.

(01:10):
Like Massachusetts doesn't really do central AC unless you have
a newer home. We do central heat, but not central
AC and so I never grew.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
Up with it.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
I've always had window units and they are struggling.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
It's like, are you cool enough? It's bad. And if
you sleep next to a human.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
With a I mean we could talk about this all day,
you know what, Maybe we do table this tell me
about your life a little bit more as far as
like having a significant other and sleeping next to them
with the window unit, what that's like? Talk back with
tiff on iHeart Radio. In fact, that's a great way
to participate in the show. My show isn't anything without you.
So search Kiss one oh seven one on that iHeartRadio app.
The microphone is in the top right hand corner. Maybe
today's the day you test it out.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
Yeah, when you need to know she's got you.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
It's three things with tif on.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
Well, good morning for you.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
The ditty stuff is kind of blowing my mind. To
give me a hot secretus before seven o'clock seven thirty,
I'm gonna stamp here since the summer passport with an
Oakley Greens.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
Gift card to get you out of the house.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Before we get to ditty, let's kind of do just
like a debrief on sincy stuff real quick quick. First
of all, the Vice President of the United States and
Cincinnati native JD.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
Vance is home.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
I had mentioned this yesterday, So you're going to see
some road closures in the Taft area in East Walnut
Hills where he lives. In fact, I drove by the
site twice in the last twenty four hours, once early
early this morning and once later last night, and you
can see the security detail set up and the tent
is up. Everything is up, So be aware of that.
He should be here for like a week or so.

(02:52):
With that being said, temperatures are also a big topic
at conversation here. We hit over one hundred degrees yesterday
and I can it in my apartment.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
I am thinking, a you, if you have a window ac.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Unit that is just barely hanging on, for dear life,
don't forget it. That's at nine oh five. I have
one thousand bucks. I might come in handy to pay
that electricity bill. Okay, it's gonna break. Supposedly, the heat
advisory is in effect for actually a lot of the
country until eight o'clock to night, but we will still
see warmer temperatures the next couple of days in the nineties.
You know, I think this weekend might dip a little
with scattered rain for Pride.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
Okay. Second in three things you need to know this morning, the.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Prosecution has officially rested in the Ditty trial. Now, after
three weeks of witness testimony, et cetera, prosecution says we're done.
Defence Europe the defense presented their case for bare thirty
minutes and called zero witnesses. They submitted some evidence and

(03:57):
that was about it. Guys, that feels nuts to me.
I mean, Diddy is facing up to life in prison
on those five counts. What the defense is saying, quote,
it doesn't take us long because the prosecution hasn't proved
a single thing when it comes to racketeering and transportation

(04:19):
and prostitution and things of that nature. Those five counts
are saying they've done nothing. They've done nothing, And.

Speaker 5 (04:26):
I feel like for that case, for this case to
be so big, for the defense to say absolutely nothing,
really they must think that there is so much reasonable
doubt with the jury that Diddy is gonna walk clean.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
That is crazy to me. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Closing arguments are tomorrow. The jury could start deliberating as
early as Monday. I mean, Diddy might know his fate
before the fourth of July. We will see, and I
almost certainly keep you posted, okay, all right, and then lastly,
in three things you need to know this morning, we
have a concert and anouncement here in Cincinnati Thursday, October

(05:03):
sixteenth at Heritage Brandy and Monica are kicking off the
Boy is Mine Tour.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Tickets go on sale eight.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
We could run it back at Tickets go on sale
this Friday at ten am. By the way, speaking of
Friday at the Heritage, Tyler the creators in town this
Friday as well as the Reds. So it's going to
be a busy weekend in Sincia along with Pride celebrations,
et cetera. All right, that is three things you need
to know for the twenty fifth of June. If you
can hang with me around seven twenty, we're going to

(05:44):
talk about where was the first vacation.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
You went on with someone you were newly dating. Was
it good? Was it bad? We'll get to that next.
Good morning, Wow, we needed that, we did.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
We also need a little bit of levity this morning,
because two seventy five is a nightmare. If you're driving
through Coraine, et cetera. I think the eastbound side is closed.
My guy Chuck from an accident. My guy Chuck will
keep you posted on that. He'll do his job.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
My job.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on Kiss
one oh seven one. Is a little bit entertainment, little content,
a little conversation, little this little lap. I'll do all
of that within this little time block. So you don't
have to go anywhere because we're commercial free for the
rest of the hour. Go ahead and search Kiss one
oh seven one on the iHeart radio app. It was
a big goal of mine to get you out of
the house and create memories this summer so you can

(06:33):
go back and look through your archives. I love going
back through my archives, you know, later on in the year,
and not have to pay for it. So I am
stamping your Sincy summer passport with a gift card to
Oakley Greens at seven thirty this morning, little fool, little golf,
little bev. You know whatever you need, you will well,
I do know you that you will need the keyword.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
Oh what should we go with today? Let's go with vacation.
I'll explain. Why give me two songs.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
Because you're waking up fourth in the morning.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
Kiss, good morning.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
We're talking about the daily debrief usually right around this
time every day, I use the one big thing I
think we talked about, so Sarah Elise.

Speaker 3 (07:11):
Heigend morning, Good morning Gal.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
I had mentioned earlier on the show, what's the first
trip you did with someone when you were newly dating them?
So I guess your husband j D. What was your
first trip together?

Speaker 3 (07:22):
You know what?

Speaker 6 (07:22):
We didn't all inclusive in Jamaica. Oh wow, you guys
full ended.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
Well, we had a work trip.

Speaker 6 (07:27):
It was for his company at the time, so it
was a little free trip. Couldn't pass that out. Okay,
she I to do some worky stuff, but you know what,
it was totally worth it. You went on a full
blown airplane together.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Okay. So Tom Brady and I were chi chen because
the fourth of July is next weekend, big weekend. Yeah,
and we are. And he was kind of thrown out
the idea of potentially going to his friend's lake house
and big weekend for that yeah, and I mean this
is like a very very loose plan. And he's like, well,
if we go, we.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
We'd have to camp.

Speaker 6 (07:58):
Oh no, don't put me down for camping.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
Immediately pass. I can see you camping.

Speaker 6 (08:09):
Ain't no way, Ain't no way I'm camping. I'm not
sleeping on rocks, getting bit by bugs, getting stinky, and
I need to have a sink to get ready, a
proper shower, even if it's just an overnet.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
I'm not camping. I got too much of a wonky
back to deal with that anyway. Okay, so I don't know.
I am.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
There's a lot of things happening with this relationship that
I'm doing, and I'm like, what am I doing?

Speaker 3 (08:39):
Camping might be one of them. I've camped before. You're right,
you can. I mean, I'm a kid. Do I look
like a camper? I'm a camper. You look like you
could camp. I could, can't. You're a low maintenance I'm yes,
thank you. That's a compliment.

Speaker 6 (08:51):
It is a compliment, for sure. I'm not low maintenance.
I'm very much on the high maintenance side of things.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
I don't have any supplies. I have no supplies.

Speaker 6 (09:00):
Well, the Tom Brady guy, he should have all that
stuff taken care. Yeah, he should have those things. I mean,
if he's got if it's not grey, you should have money.
We should be staying in a hotel. Pass up on
the tent and put me at a Hilton. Okay, but
what kind of supplies are we looking at here? Like
a toolbox?

Speaker 4 (09:19):
I bet?

Speaker 6 (09:19):
Like, where are you gonna have to cook your own food?
Like catch a fish and cook it?

Speaker 3 (09:23):
I don't know. Ooh, that was a banger. Love that
song Jesse, j Nikki and Ariana Grande.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on Kissuano
seven one commercial free love that need a little pick
me up because I know the traffic's a nightmare out there. Hey,
what was the first vacation you went on with someone
you were newly dating? That's what we're talking about this morning.
And by the way, vacation is the keyword. You're gonna
need to win the Oakley Greens gift card coming up
in three minutes.

Speaker 7 (09:52):
Ay fit old beer guy. The first trip we went
on together was gatlin Burg, Tennessee. Were into the cabin
and it was all awesome. That was like ten years ago.
While Tom goes first, thank.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
You for the talk back with TIF.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
You two can participate at any point in the show
or anytime really. When you search Kiss on the iHeartRadio app,
I appreciate you.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
Man.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
The microphone is in the top right hand corner. The
reason why we're talking about it this morning, if you
just so happen to be walking into the conversation for
the first time, is because I think over the fourth
of July, there's a chance that I might be spending
time with Tom Brady and we might be camping, and
I'm like, am I a camper?

Speaker 1 (10:32):
Because you're waking up with Tiff in the morning on
Kiss one oh seven to one.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
Good morning. I am hoping that you have a keyword
for me.

Speaker 4 (10:39):
Good morning.

Speaker 6 (10:40):
I heard keyword vacation.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
Yeah, congratulations, Gal, you got the keyword.

Speaker 3 (10:44):
You are collar ten. I am stamping your Sincy summer passport.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
Oh my gosh, thank you.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
You are welcome. I'm sending you to Oakley Greens. Are
you a mini golfer?

Speaker 7 (10:53):
I am.

Speaker 6 (10:54):
That's amazing.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
Do you refer to it as mini golfer? Putt putt golf?
I'm a put putt person. Okay, I'm a mini golf person.

Speaker 6 (11:01):
I'm okay, I understand where you're coming from.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
Okay, Well, what's your name? What neighborhood are waking up
with me in this morning.

Speaker 6 (11:06):
My name's Kaylee and I'm from Independence, Kentucky.

Speaker 2 (11:08):
Are you staying cool? Do you have a window ac
unit like I do and the thing's barely love?

Speaker 7 (11:12):
Yes?

Speaker 6 (11:13):
I do. It's been hanging on for years.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
Dear life, covered in dust and mold. Yet here I
am still alive and well, uh we were. The reason
why the keyword was vacation is because you were chit
chatting about the first vacation you went on with someone
you were maybe newly dating.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
Do you have a story for me or you know
an insight device?

Speaker 6 (11:29):
Yeah, we went, me and my husband, we've been married
now for almost ten years, but we went on our
first vacation down to Red River Gorge and got a
cabin and just had a weekend in It was beautiful.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
You are the second person to contribute to the show
today that did something very similar, So it's making me
feel a little bit better about the camping situation.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
I'm gonna be sleeping on the ground.

Speaker 4 (11:47):
Yes, you may not be a ground sleeper, but that's okay.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
Pack a pillow, you'll be comfortable, all right. Mike Gal,
thank you for listening to tiff in the Morning. Thank you.
I hope you have a wonderful day.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
Hey, if you took an l on these I mean
every day we're standing your sincy summer passport on the show.
So never miss a second second of Tiff in the
morning when you listen on Iheartradium Search Kiss one oh
seven one. At eight thirty, I have your chance to
win Land of Illusion passes. I mean perfect timing to
get out of the heat. Give me two songs. I
got the three things you need to know to get

(12:17):
your day started. And sincey what happened at Great American
Ballpark last night?

Speaker 4 (12:20):
Okay, when you need to know, She's got you.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
It's three things with tiff on Kiss one O.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
Seven one, Uh, Cincinnati and its bridges I should say
northern Kentucky as well.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
We'll get to that in a hot second. We're just
before eight o'clock on this hot Wednesday, another hot one. Yes,
you'res one.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
Hundred degrees Today is gonna be very similar. Heat wave
is supposed to break later tonight, but it won't give
us much relief over the next couple of days.

Speaker 3 (12:50):
No complaints for me, is what it is.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
Coming up At eight thirty I'm gonna stamp your Sincy
summer passport with Land of Illusion passes, so that should
help with the heat. Don't go far all right, before
we get to the bridge, let's start off with Great
American Ballpark last night. A very big congratulations to Chase
Burns making his MLB debut on three to two one
night against the Yankees last night, throwing for five innings,

(13:12):
striking out eight batters, and allowing three runs.

Speaker 3 (13:18):
New from the team.

Speaker 2 (13:19):
He was drafted by the Reds number two overall last
year and just very very quickly made his way through
the minor leagues on right on up to Cincinnati Wade
Miley's injured, Hunter Green's insure injured. And I'm wondering if
this will be you know, like Iff he'll stay, you know,
like he must be so excited, right. I remember watching

(13:40):
the videos of Ellie de la Cruz getting called up
and those are really sweet. So I hope to kind
of come across some of those as well for Burns.
By the way, if you didn't know this, he was
born in Naples, Italy, which makes him the fifth Italian
born pitcher in MLB history, and the first one since
nineteen fifty right here in Cincinnati. Baby Reds Our home

(14:02):
for the rest of the week. If I'm correct, I
know they're home on Friday because of Tyler the creators
here as well. Yeah, we'll play the Yankees today at
seven ten, and then we move into a series with
the Padre So reds are home. Go ahead, get a ticket,
all right. Second, and three things you need to know
this morning. We've got some official plans now for the

(14:22):
Licking River Bridge.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
There.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
Fourth Street bridge, also known as connecting Covington to Newport,
will be closed starting in January, as they're getting ready
to demolish the bridge this next coming year.

Speaker 3 (14:36):
I'm thinking about it.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
It's just I know, I know, there's the whole Brent
Spence Bridge restruction, you know, restoration project.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
Or a new one coming. It's just.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
Maybe I just am trigger warning right from the all
the bridge incidents as we've had in the last couple
of years.

Speaker 3 (14:51):
I'm like, no, don't take away one that's working.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
It's estimated to begin in January twenty twenty six.

Speaker 3 (14:59):
Spring is when the new one will start to go up.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
It'll take two to two and a half years, with
bridge opening to traffic in the summer of twenty twenty eight,
which is bizarre to think about, but then when you
do end up thinking about it, it's just like, don't
blink because it will.

Speaker 3 (15:14):
Be there before you know it.

Speaker 2 (15:16):
Lastly, in three Things you Need to Know this morning,
Travis Kelcey kicked off tight End University, something I newly
learned about.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
It's in Nashville.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
And with that, he did a concert with Kane Brown
and at Taylor Swift jumped up on stage with Kine
and they perform together. I don't have any audio for you,
but I know you'll start to see those clips circulating
this morning as we are not far off from football
season starting, especially here in Cincy. We talked about how
Joe Burrow is the main character of the second season

(15:45):
of Quarterback on Netflix. He's like front and center on
all of it comes out July eighth. That is three
things you need to know over the twenty fifth of June.
I'd mentioned it, but one more time for those in
the back, I'm going to stand your Sincy summer passport
with Land of Illusion passes at eight point thirty. Do
not go far. Good morning, you wake up in the morning,
a good song. Hey, you're in the right spot. Donut

(16:08):
is the keyword. You're gonna need to stamp your Sincy
summer passport with Land of Illusion passes coming up at
eight thirty. Before I make any declarative statements here on
the show this morning, I want to make sure that
I give you the opportunity to contribute to the conversation
because I am about to talk about I am about
to talk about donuts.

Speaker 3 (16:28):
Where is the best donut spot in this in this
tri state area.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
I will drive wherever I need to go, at whatever
length I need to get to the to be there,
whatever amount of gas I need to spend, I will
do it. I'm in the hunt to find Cincinnati's best donut.
This all started, actually I think it started. It's a
part of the fabric of my identity. I love donuts.

(16:54):
My mother used to convince me to go to church
growing up when I was younger. She's like, you can
get a donut, and I says, Mom, I'm in the back. Okay,
I'm in the back of that two thousand and two
Nissan Pathfinder. I love donuts a lot, and my ultimate
favorite donut is a Boston Cream donut.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
Love it, love it, love it, love it love love it.

Speaker 2 (17:16):
And I often will judge an establishment on their Boston
Cream donut.

Speaker 3 (17:21):
So a couple of.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
Weeks ago, I I've already talked about it. I love them,
I follow them on social media. I feel as if
we're in a relationship. Starlight Donut Lab, which is in
nor What had such a great conversation with them, so
good right as of recent I feel as if I
might be cheating on them because I'm in a new
relationship with a place called Parlor Donuts. And when I

(17:43):
say relationship, I mean we've connected over social media and Instagram,
and you know, they said, Tiff, we know you love
Boston Cream. You have to come into parlor and try it.
And so I am like borderline ready to quit my
job and get and get in the car right now
and go.

Speaker 3 (17:57):
I'm kidding, but where so far?

Speaker 2 (18:02):
And I think there are different tiers of donuts. I mean,
this is where my brain is going this morning, based
off of like what your mood is. So I am
forever and always gonna love a Dunkin donut. Okay I am.
When I go to Dunkin Donut, I sometimes get a
Boston Cream, but I will often get a double chocolate
or munchkins. When I go to a gourmet donut place,

(18:24):
depending on what their vibe is right, because there are
caky donuts, there are airy donuts, there are like dessert.

Speaker 3 (18:30):
Type of donuts.

Speaker 2 (18:32):
I will always judge a place based off of their
Boston cream donut.

Speaker 3 (18:36):
Where are we going on this little.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
TIFFs Community Corner Donut Tour? So far my rankings, I mean,
Starlight and Parlor are like top tier. Like I've had
nothing but great experiences and I feel like we're in
a relationship together on social media. Where else are we going?
Where is Cincinnati's best donut spot? Also Kentucky, Indiana? I'll

(18:59):
drive wherever five one, three, seven, four nine one o
seven one. Donut's the keyword I've said about four hundred times.
Now for the Land of Illusion passes. If you don't
feel like calling, you can talk back with Tiff on
the iHeartRadio app. We'll get you on the air next.
This is your chance to take a stand.

Speaker 3 (19:15):
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (19:16):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on Kiss
one oh seven one. We're in the midst of a
hot summer day and we're hunting down. Since he's best
or I should say the tri state's best donut spot.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
Go ahead, were thoughts.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
By the way, donut is the keyword you're gonna need
for the Land of Illusion passes in a few.

Speaker 7 (19:32):
Yeah, great American donut shop.

Speaker 1 (19:36):
Even Bowling Green amazing with their donut Bully.

Speaker 2 (19:39):
I mean, I told you that I would drive wherever
I needed to go to get the best donut, but
you're telling me I have to go to Bowling Green Talent.

Speaker 3 (19:47):
Okay, what's your name? What Neighborredy waking up with me?

Speaker 1 (19:49):
And uh, my name is Billy.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
Billy, thanks so much for the call.

Speaker 2 (19:53):
If you're just walking into the conversation for the first
time today, maybe I started dming apl I tagged Parlor Donuts.
I've been spending some time in Anderson and I went
to Parlor Donuts for the first time, and when I
tagged them on social media, we started having a conversation.

Speaker 3 (20:09):
And I now feel like so honored.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
You know, you have a favorite brand or a brand
that you really like and they start.

Speaker 3 (20:14):
Engaging with you on social and you're like, oh my god.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
And Boston Cream is my favorite, and so you know,
we're kind of going on this little donut tour together.
In Tip's community Corner on the show this morning. I'm
in the hunt to find the Tri State's best donut.
So if you want to contribute to the conversation, now
is the time to get in on it, because I'm
gonna go on a little tour.

Speaker 1 (20:32):
Hey too, Good morning from the cold Beer guy.

Speaker 7 (20:34):
I've always had central air growing up, and now I'm
lucky to have it. But man, we just replaced our
central air unit last year and they're so so expensive
it's crazy. And the best donut place I've been wondering
that too. I've been wanting to try something different. Dunkin
Donuts just doesn't taste good anymore.

Speaker 3 (20:54):
I get it.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
I understand there's a difference between a Dunkin donut and
a gourmet donut. I'm such a donut connoisseur, but I
still do love a Dunkin double chocolate. Thank you for
the talk back with Tiff, But obviously by now you
have a hint as to what the keyword is. If
you want to stamp your sincy summer passport and get
out of the heat and go to Land of Illusion,
give you three minutes.

Speaker 3 (21:14):
I'll get you those tickets next because you're waking.

Speaker 1 (21:17):
Up with tiff In the Morning on one O seven one.

Speaker 3 (21:19):
Good morning. I'm hoping you have a keyword for me.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
Congratulations, Galier Carler ten, you got the keyword and you're
going to Land of Illusion. I'm stamping your Sincy summer passport. Awesome,
thank you.

Speaker 3 (21:30):
You're welcome. What's your name with neighborhood? You waking up
with me and Nicki Thomas Kentucky.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
Nikki, you know I'm gonna ask what's your go to
donut spot? It's a far drive.

Speaker 7 (21:40):
It's in Georgia.

Speaker 3 (21:41):
Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (21:43):
You know I made that bold claim that I didn't
mind going anywhere I needed to go to get the
best one.

Speaker 3 (21:47):
But girl, uh, I know I haven't found a local place.

Speaker 2 (21:50):
This as good as the one in Georgia. Okay, Well
connect with me on social because I'm trying to do a
little donut torn I'll do a little review for you
so you can find one just like me.

Speaker 3 (21:58):
Okay, I appreciate the call.

Speaker 2 (22:01):
Gal If you took an l on these tickets, we'll
do it every day. I'll stamp your Sincy Summer passport
at seven thirty eight thirty.

Speaker 3 (22:07):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
The best way to keep listening to tiff In the
Morning is on iHeartRadio. We're two songs away from the
Three Things You Need to Know to Get your day started.
In Sincy, let's talk about this bezos wedding happening in
Italy this week.

Speaker 4 (22:18):
Od Lynn, you need to know she's got you.

Speaker 1 (22:23):
It's three things with tiff On Kiss.

Speaker 2 (22:26):
I might have a little celebrity breakup on hand that
I don't love. I hope it's not true. Get to
that in a hot second. We're just before nine o'clock.
At nine oh five, I'm gonna pay your bills on
Kiss with your chance to win one thousand dollars, which
will go right away, most likely towards your electricity bill.

Speaker 3 (22:42):
Because who it is hot.

Speaker 2 (22:43):
I mean, temperatures are going to be close to one
hundred degrees again for the third day in a row.
There's a heat wave for a lot of the country
right now. It's supposed to go away later tonight, but
for us Cincinnatians, I'm it's still.

Speaker 3 (22:54):
Going to be pretty hot tomorrow in the nineties. So
stay cool, all right.

Speaker 2 (22:58):
Before we get to the breakup, let's off with the
budget real quick. So I've been kind of updating you
weekly on where we're at with this new Bengals lease,
and we have less than a week to put pen
to paper to decide whether or not we are gonna
sign a newly upgraded lease or we're gonna kind of
kick the can down the road and maybe tack on
a year or two. If we end up doing the ladder,

(23:20):
we really won't see any of those club level renovations
or anything of that nature. Okay, So why it's important today,
outside of the fact that we're just waiting on answers
on the resign or not, is because the state budget
did come out or it's expected to come out today.

Speaker 3 (23:35):
Bengals are not included.

Speaker 2 (23:36):
We already knew that that was kind of happening, but
now it's pretty much confirmed. The Browns are gonna get
some of the money. Not that the Bengals can't go
for the money, but I gotta get the lease signed, right,
You gotta get the lease signed, you gotta get your actic,
have to put a proposal together, So some of that
money is gonna go to the Browns and then hopefully
we sign a lease. A third of the budget will
come from the Bengals. The third of the budget will

(23:57):
come from Sincy in Hamilton, County route and then a
third of the budget hopefully will come from somewhere in government.
And you know who said it best, David from Shit's Creek.
You just got to write it off. You know, that's
kind of what that sounds like to me. Also in
that budget meeting, I learned something interesting today that the
state taxes are shifting and anyone that makes over six

(24:20):
figures was formally paying like a three point something percent.
Now everyone in Ohio will pay two points something. So
regardless of what you make, so those that make over
six figures are going to save money. Those that you know,
even make twenty seven thousand dollars as their MEETI and
salary going to be paying the same in taxes.

Speaker 3 (24:39):
So you're going to see that potentially.

Speaker 2 (24:41):
I wanted to update you second in three things you
need to know this morning. Tyler the Creator is set
to come to Sincy on Friday night. If you have
tickets at Heritage Bank, you'll have to let me know.
I'll be there as well.

Speaker 3 (24:51):
And he was doing an.

Speaker 2 (24:52):
Interview with the cut and I thought this take was
pretty interesting.

Speaker 3 (24:56):
He talked about podcasting.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
Now, who doesn't love a good podcast, But he said,
I think we give a lot of people who aren't
smart enough and just want the attention on platforms to
be loud and incorrect, and other stupid people follow them.

Speaker 3 (25:09):
Where are the people with the skills?

Speaker 2 (25:10):
We need electricians, we need more drummers, painters, teachers. Everybody
with the mic is crazy and I just think it's gross.

Speaker 3 (25:17):
And you know what made a decent point.

Speaker 2 (25:19):
Although we all have our own little podcasts that we love,
shout out to our teachers, electricians and you know, construction
workers doing the real thing. And then, lastly, in three things,
we've got The Bezos wedding won't be the first time
we talk about it. It's supposed to be less than
two hundred people, it's in Venice. There are a lot
of protests happening around the Bezos wedding. Obviously the richest

(25:40):
man in the world, if not the second richest. They're
asking people who are coming to the wedding to donate
to local Venice charities. Rather than getting them a gift,
They're going to be using local Venice artists to create
like the gift that you get, like the favor the party.
Favor is the phrase that I'm looking for. People that
are supposedly in attendance Tom Brady, and then I'm seeing

(26:01):
rumors this morning. They're not confirmed that Orlando Bloom is
gonna go solo because him and Katy Perry, after over
a decade, are no longer together. I don't have confirmation
on that, and I really hope it's not true. If
he goes solo, it's because Katy Perry's out on tour.
But I doubt that Katie would miss the wedding. She
was just on the ship to space with Lauren Sanchez.

(26:23):
We'll see what happens. That is three things you need
to know over the twenty fifth of June. Lock in
if you want your chance to win a thousand bucks.
That's happening at nine oh five. And the best way
to listen to Kiss one oh seven one as you
go about your hot summer morning is by searching us
on iHeartRadio.
