Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, here we are, guys, our last break of
the day on this Thursday. It's been a good day
to day.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
Want to not yeah, fun day?
Speaker 1 (00:10):
All right, Steve, you have some clothing take us out.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
Yeah, you know. I want to share something with you all.
Speaker 3 (00:15):
You know, as I learned lessons in life, the one
of the things that I've become really good at his
transparency and sharing life experiences. You know, just like I'll
do this weekend when I'm out on my first ever
motivational tour. I was just thinking of how I was
going to approach it, and I have to do it
(00:36):
the same way I've always done it. That's by being
transparent and using my own life experiences to share with
others my shortcomings, all my failures and how I turned
them into wins. You know, I got to tell you
something about winning. I think people get frustrated because.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
Of your law. I think people get.
Speaker 3 (01:03):
Tired of a failure along the way. That causes them
to get discouraged, and oftentimes you give up just too
soon because you just get broken and humbled by your failures.
But you're gonna have to start looking at these failures differently,
(01:23):
because a failure is a part of the process to
becoming successful. Nobody successful has ever gotten there without first failure.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
You just don't wake up a winner.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
You don't start a business and get rich the next day.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
You just don't.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
You don't have an idea and then give birth to
the idea and the next day it's just all and cracking.
That's really not the reality of how it works. There
are going to be some failures in order to get
to the success. What I'm sharing with you is there's
(02:10):
going to have to be some losses before you get
to the win. Let me tell you something. You only
need one win. You can have thousands of failures, y'all.
I have had hundreds thousands of failures. I've written jokes
(02:33):
that what I thought was gonna be good, they didn't work.
I've had ideas I thought it was gonna be good,
it didn't work. I've written a book I thought was good,
it didn't work.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
I was in a.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
Movie I thought was good that didn't work. I launched
a TV show I thought was good, that didn't work.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
I went on stage on tour I thought it would
be good. It didn't work.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
I can't count on man over and over and over.
You've been in a relationship you thought was good, it
didn't work. You got a job you thought was the
job of your dreams turned out to be a disaster.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
It didn't work.
Speaker 3 (03:05):
You went to college to get a degree, it didn't work.
You went here to apply for this job, you got it.
They closed the company. It didn't work.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
It just over and over and over and over. Life
is filled with failures.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
But don't let the failures depress you and cause you
to stop the goal.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
You have a goal and a dream.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
Continue when you fall, get back up, because I'm telling you,
in spite of all these losses, you only need one win.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
You can suffer a thousand losses.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
You only need one win. You just need one win, y'all.
One win can get you in. One win can change
your life. One win can be the game changer. One
win can be all you need to spur you on
to greatness.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
You only need one win.
Speaker 3 (03:58):
But you got to hang in there through the losses
and the failures to get to it. The wind is
not right there. You got to go through something to
get to the wind. Success is on the other side
of uncomfortable. Success ain't ever right there. It's never right there, y'all.
(04:21):
Let me tell you another lesson. I've learned a long
way because I've been trying to figure I've been talking
to God about what's been happening in our lives lately.
And I came to the conclusion and it hit me
this morning when I woke up, and this is a really,
really good one. You know, people have been calling me
about this social media stuff, and you know what I learned, man,
(04:42):
And finally I just came to the realization.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
It ain't what you think it is. Let me tell
you something, man, It's just not what you think it is.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
I don't care who heard it. I don't care how
many people repeat it. I don't care how many people
post it. O care how many people say it.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
Let me give you a scope of how you should
look at this.
Speaker 3 (05:06):
There are over eight billion people in this world.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
Get this number, y'all.
Speaker 3 (05:13):
There are over Oh this is a fact for everybody
living on earth, everybody listening to PIM.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
There are over eight billion people in this world.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
If somebody posts a live about you, if somebody say
something negative about you, if somebody try to blast you,
however you want to look at it, some group of
haters get together and they start hating on you. Let's suppose,
and this almost never happens, all of them total get
(05:47):
one hundred million views. Do you know how hard that is?
Most people get a thousand views, thousand, like a couple thousand,
couple hundred views, all of that. Let's say you get
one hundred million views.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
Guess what that means.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
That means seven billion, nine hundred million people don't even
know what you're talking about.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
Don't let the small group of people shake you, man.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
Don't let the small group of people determine the where
you are and who you are.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
Don't pay no attention to that.
Speaker 3 (06:16):
Keep moving because them small crabs in the barrel are
just small crabs in the barrel.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
You only make them big when you allow them to be.
Speaker 3 (06:24):
They ain't that big. Keep trusting in God. God got
you seven billion. Now's your million. People ain't even know
what they talking about. Y'all have a great day today
because I showed will. I woke up with that one
on my heart this morning. Good news, baby, Hey, I
want to say hello to the seven billion, nine hundred
million people that love it.
Speaker 2 (06:45):
Appreciate it.
Speaker 3 (06:53):
For all.
