Davin Max's last album, her second LP, Diamonds and Dance Force,
was heavily inspired by her breakup with music producer Circuit,
which was more complicated than most splits because he was
also her primary collaborator and because of his close association
with her music, either directly or indirectly. Finally, lifting, she
feels a renewed sense of energy as she enters her
third album cycle. She tells Billboard, I wanted to start
this era with no heartbreak and no man attached. This

(00:25):
feels like the beginning of me. It almost feels like
my first album is coming out for the first time.
I'm really finding myself and honing in on healing. So
I really wanted to release a record that made everyone
feel incredible and want to have fun music for them
to go out with their girlfriends or guy friends and
not think about anything relationship related. David Max there on
her new era of music. First song off this chapter
is My Oh My, definitely captures that vibees out.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
