Let's look back for a second at some classics, the
eighties movies that you may have seen when you were
a kid or your parents saw when they were a kid.
Some stand the test of time more than others actually do.
The Joe Dante classic Gremlins is at the top of
that stands the test of timeless.

Yeah, one of an all time classics for sure. It
might be the perfect kind of like kid friendly horror movie.
And guess what they're back.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
I love it. Forty one years after the original, thirty
five after the sequel, it's Gremlins three. It's in the
work seven. Spielberg's producing it, the undisputed king of eighties
fantasy films, who also produce the original, and bought the
Gremlins screenplay with his own money back.

From Chris Columbus, who only whipped it up as a
writing sample because he was a struggling writer at the time.
Of course, Chris eventually directed Home Alone.

Oh my gosh, I can't wait to watch all of
those I know.

Me too, But now Chris is back to write Gremlins three.

Anyway, keeping in line with the original, which was a
Christmas movie. Gremlin's three gett in theaters ahead of the
holiday season. That's gonna be late November of twenty twenty seven.
