Speaker 1 (00:00):
Lots of entertainment. You she hat tou kyalpayn. What do
you guys got?

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (00:02):
So I was kind of it was it was kind
of heartbreaking to see this. So we know that Kim
Kardashian failed the bar. She shared that it's only fueling
her to get stronger and study more and get back
at it. But she actually shared some of the process
leading up to like the last two weeks before the
bar exam, she was doing NonStop studying, she was doing
no business, her kids went on vacation, and she was

(00:23):
so incredibly stressed.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Oh my god, I'm just so tired.

Speaker 4 (00:28):
But it's like every time I feel like I'm a
step ahead, something happens to try to stop me from
doing this.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
I just want to like how far of me just
wants to stop.

Speaker 4 (00:45):
I just feel like my brain's gonna explode.

Speaker 5 (00:49):
And I still love so much more to go.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
So I feel like a lot of people hate on
Kim Kardashian, but it's like she doesn't need to do this.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
She's like a brazillionaire, you know what I mean. She's
got six she's got a successful TV show.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
That's been running for ages and ages.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
She doesn't have to do this, and what I respect
about it is her hard work going up to it
and sharing the fact that it isn't all easy. Just
because she's Kim Kardashian. There's a lot of stress that
probably goes into it too.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
So I don't know. I was like, Oh, she's.

Speaker 4 (01:18):
Trying to do it, as I understand, without going to
law school, Like she's not in law school.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
Well, and in the video she actually shared like she
has a couple different professors for the different parts of
the test that she's teaching in different parts of law
that she's learning from. She's not going to law school,
but she is taking lessons from professors.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
And then it was so random because I'm like, you know,
on her Instagram or whatever, and I'm like, I see
a flash of like Britney Spears with her and I'm like,
wait what. And then you look at Britney Spears' instagram
and she had just deleted it and come back like
a week before this, and it's like she's laying in
bed with Kim Kardashian and Chloe.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Oh, we're just chilling in our geriatric bed. This dead vibrates.
What the what?

Speaker 3 (02:02):
So I don't know if We're just if this was
filming for an episode of The Kardashians. There's not a
whole lot of like explanation as to like what this
fun little sleepover was other than they Britney shared video
of them laying in bed and then teaching like because
some of the kids had to dance, and then she
posted like, thank you so much to this wonderful, warm family.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
It was an honor to spend time with you. And
I'm like, what is going on?

Speaker 5 (02:25):
I love this link up, like I feel like this
is everything that Britney needs, like Kim and her family,
like they are such girls girls, Like I feel like
I just I want to be on a fly on a.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Wall in that room. I am eating that up. I
hope they hang out more.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
I was like, I wonder like if anyone could help
Britney spears.

Speaker 6 (02:42):
Maybe it is Kim wake in the morning together, like.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
We don't know, maybe we're gonna find out on an
episode of the Kardashians. But like I said, there was
a whole lot of context what what exactly this was?

Speaker 5 (02:55):
I know, but I love it. Justin Bieber, He's he
said that he messed up like his ribs. He was
ing one of those like electric one wheel scooters, you
know what I'm talking about, like those skateboards. So he
fell hard on like his tightness head. And then he
went on his Twitch streams since he's streaming basically his
whole Coachella stuff, saying that it hurts so bad he
can't even laugh or talk. But he's still pushing through,
so no worries. He's still going to perform for Coachella.

(03:16):
But a little bump in the road there. Airwon quietly
removed Hailey Bieber's name from their viral strawberry Glayskin smoothie,
and I was like, I wonder what something happened and people.

Speaker 6 (03:27):
Aren't talking right now, and I was probably had a contract,
We're going to pay you to call this to Hailey
Bieber smoothie for two years. It's just a way like, yeah,
is now mortgage makers.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (03:40):
I feel like that's just like such a like that's
such a boring way to think about it. I want
to think their shade what they want to.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Because not that I want that, but I feel like
that's mortgage more.

Speaker 5 (03:53):
But the drink is still on the menu, so you
can still drop twenty bucks on it.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
It's just Haley Biber.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
If you know, you know, and if people will still
get it, people will definitely still get it.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
So Megan Trainer, you guys, she's lost a lot of weight.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
She said, she has lost sixty pounds on her weight
loss journey, and she has gotten so much backlash.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
She's like, it's been insane.

Speaker 6 (04:13):
She said.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
Before the weight loss, she really didn't have people coming
after her, but now it's relentless.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Yeah, the world's getting easier and meaner, and they're louder.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
And I'm like, is it because they're getting louder or
is it because I'm getting worse?

Speaker 2 (04:25):
Like what's happening?

Speaker 4 (04:26):
And I'm not.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
I'm literally, for the first time ever after having.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
Babies, taking care of my health to the highest level,
and I've never felt better, and I look incredible.

Speaker 5 (04:35):
I feel great, really, and that's when people attack me.

Speaker 7 (04:38):
I was like, so one am I supposed to do?

Speaker 2 (04:40):
I have to find a way to not be affected
by that. She says. The way she's dealing with it
is just enjoying her new singles. Still don't care.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
She's using that as therapy, moving onwards and upwards through that.
Timothy shall May's got a new movie coming out is
called Marty Supreme when it comes out on Christmas Day,
and they shared a like a video of a meeting
where they're talking about how they can market it, like
what crazy things they can do to market it.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
And I've listened to this clip like three or.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
Four times, and every time I listen to it, I
feel more and more.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
This way, and I'm interested to see what you guys think.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
But so Timothy shares his idea, and then you hear
everyone else chime in as if they're like total yes men.
And then one one lady says what everyone else is
kind of thinking of as possibly like a nice way
of shutting it down, like like like.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
Oh yeah, do you think great idea? And then she's like,
but what about this? And they're like, oh, yeah, we
probably can't do that.

Speaker 7 (05:32):
We should have the blimp go above flog now and
rain ping pong balls Marty's Supreme branded rain ping pong
balls on everyone.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Yeah, I do too.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
I think one thing we'll have to kind of.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Take into consideration is just the safety hazard.

Speaker 4 (05:53):
Something we'll think.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
About those people.

Speaker 6 (05:58):
Meeting, Like we took a helicopter and we jumped a
bunch of pink pong balls out of the helicopter and
there were people in like that in the meeting. We
got rid of them. You just got to do it,
you know what I mean. If you think too much,
you can come over the reason and not do anything that.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
You know, you're absolutely right. But I'm like, oh, poor
Timothy in that meeting. So Bravo Khan twenty twenty five
happened over the weekend, and there was a moment from
it that is actually very funny. So Lisa vander Pump,
she was doing an interview with Jerry O'Connell, and Jerry
O'Connell was telling her about how it was so crazy
his wife had the opportunity to meet Prince Harry and

(06:35):
was more excited about meeting Lisa vander Pump, like how
crazy is that? And so he shared that with her
and her reaction is what now has gone viral exciting.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
When Lisa vander Pump said.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
To Rosy, well, I'm a loyal bread he isn't right, so.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
You know what I'm telling the truth, She's awesome.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
Watch out, Prince Harry, Lisa Vanderbuff's coming for you.

Speaker 5 (07:03):
This is also going to be awesome.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
Labooboos.

Speaker 5 (07:05):
We're finally getting their own movie. They're getting the big
screen movie to Sony Pictures. I know, I feel like
the Labooboo, like craze, has kind of died down a
little bit. Maybe it'll pop back off with Christmas, but
who knows. But Sony Pictures have secured the rights to it.
But there's like no director, no writer, no past yet.
It's not even clear if it's going to be animated
or live action, but it's coming.

Speaker 6 (07:26):
Okay, when you're talking about Kim Karashian passing the bar,
do you guys, I know we all have friends are lawyers,
but I don't know my friends are lawyers that how
many times they took the test?

Speaker 1 (07:36):
Do you guys know? No, that's a good question. No,
I guess.

Speaker 6 (07:39):
So I heard it takes the average person three times
to pass the bar. I don't want to name drop,
but I'm going to Friday night, I was having dinner
with Sandra Bullock's sister.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
No way, what so random?

Speaker 1 (07:50):
She passed the bar on the first try for her?

Speaker 3 (07:52):
Well, yeah, I think they say ninety nine percent of
people don't pass it the first time because she's part
of the small one person.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
Yeah, I don't know any I mean, I have a
friend that's lawyer, but I never asked him we.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
Should all take it?

Speaker 5 (08:04):
Did you just casually ask Sandra Bullock's sister, like, how
many times did you take the bar? Did she just
voluntarily give you that fast?

Speaker 1 (08:10):
She volunteers. She was telling a story.

Speaker 6 (08:12):
She has a cookbook out, and she was talking about
the cookbook and she was talking about she always made
her mom's recipes. And she was in law school and
she just couldn't study because she was always cooking, and
she was cooking and baking and loved it so much.
And she goes, then I took the bar. She goes
without studying. She was and I passed the first time
with studying.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
I was like wow.

Speaker 5 (08:29):
I was like, was she trying to flex on you?
Such like an odd fact to drop randomly?

Speaker 6 (08:34):
I'm actually flexing on you, guys. Because she was in
the room, she wasn't speaking to me. It was a bunch.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Of other people in the room. I was there, I
was at the table next to her.

Speaker 4 (08:44):
Why were you in a book with authors? Like you
don't read or write a book with authors. That's how
books are. I mean, why were you in a place
with people who are authors?

Speaker 1 (08:51):
My wife? Oh, okay, yeah, she does read books. I
do not.

Speaker 6 (08:54):
I was there and then and then I was sitting
this is so random, and my table was my heart doctor.
The cardiologist was sitting right next to me, and Blake
was like, do you want some bread? I was like no.
She's like why and I'm like, my eyes are the
heart doctors. And she goes and then I final, I'll
take the bread. I take little piece of bread. She goes,
do you want butter on? I go no, I don't
want butter on it. And the guy across from me

(09:15):
was the heart doctor's son. He goes, hey, your heart
doctor's okay with butter, and I go he is, and
then he looks at me goes, yeah, you're fine.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
Random.

Speaker 4 (09:25):
Good because we've been eating butter for thousands of years

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
