All right?
Speaker 1 (00:40):
What's what's going on when you guys up to?
Speaker 4 (00:44):
Hey?
Speaker 1 (00:44):
You guys watching any cool TV shows?
Speaker 2 (00:46):
Friday Vibes, Yes, Grant, I am. I'm watching Severing.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
It's great a show. Anyway, I have a good days.
Speaker 5 (00:54):
You just dropped this morning.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
But it's Apple so they only dropped like two episode
one episode? I so does they only gave you one
so they know they have something?
Speaker 5 (01:02):
Yeah, the next one comes up next Friday.
Speaker 3 (01:04):
I guess you know a little backstory on this Severance thing.
I was asking Kyle to watch Bad Sisters on Apple TV.
We kind of made like a deal you watch Bad Sisters,
I'll watch Severance because she was like, you know, she
finished Severance. I remember, and you're like, I gotta know
if this is a good show or not.
Speaker 5 (01:19):
I know thinks all the way until the end, but
the end makes me like, made me so excited for
the second season, right.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
So you're like, do I like it?
Speaker 3 (01:27):
I like, but you kept thinking about it, right, And
we've been in those situations before. So I committed and
told her i'd watch it now. She finished Bad Sisters
season one and season two and.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
And I love it. It's a great show.
Speaker 5 (01:36):
It started off though, like when I started watching it.
We made that deal because I was like, I can't
get into it because I watched I think two episodes
and I was like, but it really does hook you.
And I love the relationship between the sisters and the
messes they get in are just insane and.
Speaker 3 (01:50):
Funny, right, they're funny way they have the day'd handle
it the way you think maybe you and your sisters
would handle it totally.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
So then I said I'd watch Severance.
Speaker 3 (01:57):
And the damn show has got me thinking about it NonStop,
and it's so irritating to me because I want it,
but I also don't want to google it and I
don't want to read anything about it, you know what
I mean. But I keep having these guesses about what
I think the show's about, and it's so it's one
of those shows that makes you think what if what
would be like here? Right?
Speaker 2 (02:15):
And it's so weird. Anyway, that's on Apple and that's
going to be number one, you know. Anyway.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
I hope you guys getting the Beast Games this weekend
if you.
Speaker 5 (02:24):
Beast Games for me is like a show where it's
like like seventh the first episode of the second season came
out this morning. That took priority, and then when I
was done with it and there wasn't a second episode,
I was like, I'll go back and watch some Beast Games.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
There you go, like you can consume that in chunks.
Speaker 5 (02:37):
Yeah, it's not like I don't I don't need to
binge best Saves, but I enjoy watching it.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
So today is National Ditch your Resolution Day.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
Thank god.
Speaker 2 (02:47):
Yeah, today is.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
Today's the day you're supposed to ditch your resolution, which
is funny because I think Kyle just started something right,
just rip up.
Speaker 5 (02:56):
I've always been like, I've never really been like a
January one let's go like I kind of ease into
it because I feel like mentally that will help me
stick with it. One of my main resolutions this year
is to declutter, like declutter my whole house because I
feel like a hoarder, and I'm like a pocket hoarder.
So if you came to my house and you're in
(03:17):
my living room, it's like, there's not a lot of
clutter there, there's not a lot going on, But if
you go in my closet, you'd be.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
Like, good board, what is all the scrap?
Speaker 5 (03:27):
And So what I did was I I kind of
I wanted to break it down because it seems really
overwhelming to like do the whole house. So I broke
it down in months like January, I want to tackle
my closet, you know, February I want us to do.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
The garage like different pieces one day too.
Speaker 5 (03:43):
Yeah, and then I just feel like it's more manageable
and more realistic that I could actually get it done.
But this month has been flying by, and I'm like,
how is it. It's already like the month January is
almost halfway over. So yesterday I was like, I got
to get moving because I don't think I can do
my closet in one day. It's very overwhelming. I have
(04:04):
a lot of stuff in there, and it's not even
like just clothes and shoes. It's like I keep everything there.
There's like extra backpacks and hats and like random things,
like very random things. And so I went in my
closet yesterday and I was just so overwhelmed and like where.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
Do I even begin?
Speaker 5 (04:21):
And I go, Okay, I'm gonna break it down in pieces.
I still have two weeks left of January. Today I'm
going to work on just decluttering shoes because I got
a lot of shoes that I've had for probably fifteen years,
and a lot of them that I know I.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
Did that before.
Speaker 5 (04:35):
The box is still here. We didn't not think of
that I am donating these shoes. I am not bringing
them in. But yesterday I went and I got like
like one of those huge black trash bags that like
usually but like landscaping stuff in and I filled it
with shoes.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
Wow, filled it with.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
Shoes A bag. I didn't finish.
Speaker 5 (04:53):
Oh, but it felt really good to start seeing like
little empty spot and I feel like I'm like this
is the beginning. Because I took all the shoes out.
I cleaned the dust like the dust was very thick.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
So now you put that bag of shoes in your
car and drive around with that for six months.
Speaker 5 (05:11):
I'm leaving it in the garage because my goal is
to take all the bags that I that I end
up getting from the closet and then donating them all
at one time.
Speaker 3 (05:19):
So when it comes to resolution, my resolution, you know,
was pretty much the ten thousand steps a day, right,
and I'm I think I'm going two weeks on doing
that every single day, and it's so hard to do
to get ten thousand steps, right, So I put a
treadmill in here.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
I'm going to try to walk in the treadmill during
songs or.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
Commercials, and you were really walking a lot.
Speaker 3 (05:36):
Yesterday I had four thousand steps when I left the
station from this tread Yeah. Well and whatever we do
around here. Yeah, so I was able to hit my goal.
I got like thirteen thousand steps yesterday. But I'm so
obsessed with it, and I realized how a goal like
this works. It's these little things, right, because like I
needed new shoes to walk in, Like I have hiking shoes.
I have my normal Air Force ones that I wear
(05:58):
and then I my wife got me a pair of
hook a couple of years ago, but they hurt my feet.
Speaker 1 (06:01):
Yeah, those are like two cushiony Yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
No, no, that part doesn't hurt. I have high arches.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
So where the strings are where you tie your shoes,
those are too tight right because of my instep. So
there's a shoe store kind of by my house, is
about a mile away, and my goal. Yesterday I told Blake,
I said, hey, I'm gonna when I come home, I'm
gonna walk to the shoe store and get new shoes.
Do you want to come with me? And She's like yes.
So I went to the shoe store with my new
wearing my new hookahs that I she gave me a
couple of years ago. I wore those and as walking
(06:28):
to the shoe store, I was like, these hokas feel.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
Really good on my feet.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
Get to the shoe store, buy new hookahs that are
almost exactly the same as because I want And I
wore those new hookahs home.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
By the time I went home, I thought they felt
the same.
Speaker 1 (06:44):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
And now so now I feel like mister Rogers, like
I have walking shoes and then I have well walker
walking shoes.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
You know what they tell you is they tell you
to switch out your walking shoes so you don't get
like if there's like an even just to your stride,
wearing a different pair of shoes, will we'll fix that.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
I had just started walking, though, I trust.
Speaker 1 (07:07):
Me you'll If you wear the same shoes and good
like the same route, you'll hurt yourself.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
I went to my son's basketball game the other day.
I told my wife, I'm gonna walk home. So I
walked home. So what I'm saying is having this kind
of goal makes pushes you just a little bit where
maybe those little things will help you, know what I mean.
Maybe maybe I'll drop some weight, maybe I'll whatever it
is that walking is supposed to do for you.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
You probably live longer, work out your thoughts.
Speaker 3 (07:28):
And then I so I can tell my wife is
like when you talk about decluttering. You know, we did
our vision boards right, So my vision board is right
in the middle of the kitchen. I can tell it's
in the way. Like now you got to find a
place for your vision board. Kyle's in your daytime or
smart small right there? My vision boards umungous. Put it
in front of the treadmill, I don't want you guys
(07:48):
see my vision board.
Speaker 5 (07:49):
I was actually wondering I didn't see a post of it,
Like did you post pictures of it?
Speaker 1 (07:53):
Or is that something you just want to keep private?
Speaker 2 (07:55):
Oh, and I don't want people to go put that.
What does that mean? You know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (08:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (08:00):
Yeah, stuff like that. So I was like, I had
to move it today. I moved it somewhere and I'm
just waiting to see My wife said, what the hell
is this doing here?
Speaker 1 (08:08):
Where did you put it? Did you put it like
a like in the bedroom, like above your headboard or something.
Speaker 3 (08:14):
I've never seen that. No, it's in like every morning
I wake up and I do I lift some weights.
I put them in the room and I lift weights.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
In Okay, that's smart.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
Yeah, but I'm already thinking like someone's gonna walk in
there and move it. But who else would walk in there?
Speaker 1 (08:26):
Well, listen, if you have to remove it, have to
go walk into it. You can just get more steps.
So it's all good. Yeah, so it all works out
in your favor.
Speaker 2 (08:34):
Do you have a resolution?
Speaker 1 (08:35):
Rich? Do I have my resolution?
Speaker 3 (08:37):
Today's natural ditch resolution? Do I have one to do
you have one? You have not to ditch, but do you.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
Well, I've had.
Speaker 1 (08:42):
Lots I've had. I've told you about trying to like
record more stuff and put it out in the universe.
So I've done that already. I've been exercising every day,
I've been eating pretty good every day, so I think, yeah,
for sure, what about you, Peyton.
Speaker 4 (08:54):
Yeah, my biggest resolution was to like not take other
people's problems on and like feel bad for stuff, and
I've done a good job of that. I'm not going
to be ditching that because I feel like it's good
for my growth.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
Like you've been in a situation this year already where
you should have taken you could have taken some of
the problems on, yeah, and you said no.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
Also, you had a resolution of not wearing makeup or
something too, didn't you.
Speaker 4 (09:12):
Yeah, to go like a little bit more natural bare face.
And I've done that, except for like I'm like disgustingly
pale right now, so I've had to add like face
tanner onto my face. But that's about it.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
Like like yesterday, you're more tan than yesterday.
Speaker 4 (09:25):
Well, I'm more tan than wednesday. I was tan in
the face yesterday.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
I literally saw it is winter time.
Speaker 4 (09:32):
Yeah, No, that happened, and I get really really pale
in the winter, like my melanin just like disappears. And
then in the summer I get some color, but like
I literally looked in the mirror and I was like,
who is that white girl?
Speaker 1 (09:43):
No?
Speaker 2 (09:43):
Literally, yes, you think you looked white right now?
Speaker 4 (09:47):
Yeah, I like my little color in my melanin. But
I look sunkissed sometimes but not today. I look like
I died. I died
