gisel dang boom, what you don't do.

We're not talking about rid ten team. We're not talking
about last year.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
It's the one and only dog, the last, the last,
the big snoop eagle double jisse.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
In your face to me and in the place to
be And.

Speaker 4 (00:21):
You're listening to John Jay and Rich wake us one
O four seven Kiss FM, John Jay and Rich Our
phone numbers eight seven seven nine three seven, one oh
four seven. I forgot to say it's Friday.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
She was a tax text jj R.

Speaker 4 (00:36):
Whatever you want to say to the number nine six
eight nine three Peyton, I would say, out of the
four of us, is the one who likes to experiment
with alcohol and says that she's gonna not gonna drink.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
She's gonna drink. She's no longer to kill a girl.
She's a Voka girl. What's this new thing?

Speaker 5 (00:50):
And the thing is I think I'm done drinking no way.
Body says that I'm faith on met it before I know?

Speaker 6 (00:57):
Why why are we at this point this time?

Speaker 5 (00:59):
Because I with my therapy and all the stuff that
I'm kind of learning about myself, Like it definitely heightens
my emotions, and I'm trying to regulate my emotions, and
so I feel like taking that away might be helpful.
Like why do I need to have three drinks in
a week? You know what I mean? Like just save
it for the weekend?

Speaker 3 (01:16):
Girl?

Speaker 5 (01:16):
What's your problem? You know?

Speaker 1 (01:18):
That's kind of where.

Speaker 5 (01:19):
I'm at right now.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
I'm not quitting drinking altogether.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
It's like just the week.

Speaker 5 (01:23):
Day drinking, yeah, and just trying to like limit myself
and also to like when I drink, like I drink
like it's time to party, you know, batty batty shot
clock all the.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
Time, you know, Like that's just the hold hold on.
We were at a restaurant with you where you were.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Like shot shot shot shot shot shot, Yes, and you
and song and shot.

Speaker 5 (01:45):
We did you and Stacy get candy shot.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Mexican candy shots. And Stacy's like, well, I don't really
do shots. What are you doing?

Speaker 2 (01:51):
You slating?

Speaker 3 (01:53):
And so I take video which we can post because
I took video. And what happens is Stacy my wife's
as the shot and Peyton's just sipping at it like
it's a tasty little beverage.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
No no, no, no no.

Speaker 5 (02:05):
Yeah, I took the shot. I just didn't finish the shot,
which I am notorious for doing. You ask any of
my friends, they say I'm the worst person to take
shots with because I'm such a crib when.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
It comes to it.

Speaker 5 (02:16):
But I just also feel like it'll help me get
into my summer bod, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Like, what's this thing that you're talking about.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
I thought you said as they would ever tried a
sleepy girl mocktail?

Speaker 5 (02:25):
Yeah, oh my goodness. So there's this trend on TikTok
and it's called the sleepy girl mocktail, and it literally
is a mocktail, but it helps you go to bed.
So it's like tart cherry juice with like no added stuff,
like literal cherry juice, magnesium, and then you take like
one of those little poppy soda waters and then you

(02:45):
top it off and apparently with the magnesium and the
cherry that it just knocks you out.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
You say magnesium when you take a pill and crack
it open.

Speaker 5 (02:53):
Like or they have magnesium powder that you like scoop
it in and you pour it in there and it's
all over TikTok. But I need to know if the
sleep Girl mocktail is a real thing or not, because
I don't want to waste my money.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
I've seen it, but i've seen it on TikTok, just
like you have.

Speaker 6 (03:05):
Yeah, you have problems sleeping.

Speaker 5 (03:07):
I'm having a really hard time sleeping lately. Yeah. I
told you about my annoying ice machine that I haven't
that keeps me up all night because it's making ice
all night and I can hear it because we're in
a one bedroom, one bathroom apartment and we have neighbors
that slam their doors all the time, and we are
surrounded by crying babies.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Well, magnesium makes you sleep. The poppy has got probiotics
in it, which help you relax too. Cherry juice is
I'm sure that's got some kind of property to.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Kind of, like, you know, relaxes you.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
Yeah, I need to know if you're taking magnesium powder
that's meant to mix in a drink, right, Yeah, isn't
that couldn't that just be enough? Like because I take magnesium,
I have this man I forget what it's called, and
it's called sooth or something, and it's it's packets and
I pour it's like a lemonade, and I poured it
into water.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
I put two packets and I drink it every night. No,
it's not calm. You've seen that. I've I've had comment
does a totally different reaction to me. I don't. I'm
not a fan of calm.

Speaker 4 (04:04):
But it's it's something else called I think it's called
snooze and I and it tastes like lemonade, and I
take that every night.

Speaker 5 (04:11):
I could do it.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
I mean, if you're adding the other stuff I feel,
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (04:15):
I think that's what makes it feel like mocktail, which
for me, though I like a glass of wine when
I go to bed, I like a little seltzer when
I go to bed. So if I'm making a sleepy
girl mocktail, that might prevent me from wanting to go
make myself a sleeper girl cocktail.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Then the magnesium probably helps a lot.

Speaker 6 (04:31):
I do it how it goes, but yeah, root for me.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
You guys, your boyfriend can you sleep?

Speaker 5 (04:38):
He can't sleep, well, he can't sleep. He can't sleep.
It depends on the day. He's always sick or whatever.
But he actually stops smoking. Because I think I was
telling you guys, he's been having some problems, like with
his chest and things like that. He's like not able
to breathe. And so my cousin, who is a PA,
was like, you need to stop smoking, like this is
really harming your lungs. And so now he's not smoking.

(04:58):
And he's the one that usually like handles all that
stuff for us, And so now I'm not smoking, and
I'm like.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
What the heck? What gives? Smoking helps you sleep?

Speaker 5 (05:06):
It does help me sleep, Yeah, And I haven't been
smoking because he's not smoking.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Oh so you smoke when he smokes, and you sleep.
He's not smoke. Can he sleep?

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Not really?

Speaker 5 (05:13):
He's like up till three o'clock in the morning.

Speaker 4 (05:15):
His body's going through like what's it called withdraw Yeah,
withdrawal since you don't have that stuff.

Speaker 5 (05:19):
Maybe, which was which would be a very good reason
on why we are quitting. We are like our frontal
lobe is developing, guys, We're making a lot more.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
Maturitiz I'm so croddy.

Speaker 6 (05:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
So anyways, that's from mocktails to Kyle's cooking. How's your
cooking going, Colin?

Speaker 1 (05:35):
Not great?

Speaker 6 (05:35):
It never really is, but I try. Right, I've been
like obsessed. I think the algorithm just knows. On Instagram,
I'm just looking for like healthy meals, healthy sweets, like
throw them all at me. So I found this recipe
that looks so good. It's like this Asian inspired dish.
So you use like a ground chicken and this seasoning
called Chinese five spice and then you like throw it

(05:57):
in with some vegetables and then put it on some rice.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
And I'm like, this is amazing. I am making this.

Speaker 6 (06:02):
So in my grocery order, I put in all the
stuff right, it's like, you know, some red bell peppers,
some other like green peppers, this and that, and I'm like,
oh no, like the Chinese five spice, you have to
like order it, and then it's gonna not come with
the actual delivery. It's gonna come in the mail.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
I'm like, forget it. I'll just go to the grocery
store and see if they've got it there.

Speaker 6 (06:20):
So I have all the other items come with my
normal grocery delivery, and I'm like, I go to Bashes,
they don't have it. I go to Albertson's, they don't
have it. I go three different stores they.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
Don't have it. So then I hop back.

Speaker 6 (06:32):
On Walmart, and I'm like, fine, I'll go ahead and
order the one that's gonna come. It says it's here,
it's coming on Saturday. So that's fine. Like hopefully, hopefully
when they bring me my ground chicken, it's not expired
before then. So I get the ground chicken. It's good,
Like the date's gonna be fine. Saturday rolls around.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
Guess what, No Chinese five.

Speaker 6 (06:52):
Spice was delivered to my house.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
And meanwhile it's.

Speaker 6 (06:56):
Like the green onions are starting to shrivel like so
it's like the red bell peppers all she.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Would have thrown that stuff out days ago.

Speaker 6 (07:03):
I can salvage this, I can ke And then they
send me this thing.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
Sorry, your delivery is delayed. Now it's going to be
next Saturday.

Speaker 5 (07:10):
So annoying.

Speaker 6 (07:11):
I'm not a smart enough chef to go. I've got
these ingredients.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
I can just make this instead.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
You can throw five spices, just call it Chinese five spices.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Is that a common thing? Chinese five spices?

Speaker 3 (07:22):
Like?

Speaker 2 (07:22):
Is that a thing?

Speaker 6 (07:22):
I guess it's not as common as this recipe made it.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
Maybe you need to.

Speaker 4 (07:26):
Go to one of those markets, the Asian markets that
are I love market is there one, Yeah, Korean one.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
Can you do Korean five spice?

Speaker 1 (07:34):
I don't know if that exists, but I would love to.

Speaker 4 (07:36):
I think my mom used to this Korean market all
the time. It should be like to look at this
Chinese five spice I got?

Speaker 5 (07:43):
Did you you got it on Amazon? The Chinese five spice?

Speaker 6 (07:46):
I thought I got an Amazon, but no, it was
on Walmart dot com.

Speaker 5 (07:49):
Oh, okay, coming.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
With Kyle videos because.

Speaker 6 (07:54):
It would never happen because my ingredients don't arrive.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
But Kyle with Kyle, and there's always one ingredient. This
you have to guess what it is.

Speaker 5 (08:01):
It is, Kyle. You got to use your GBT. You
take a picture of all your ingredients and say, can
you make me something out of this?

Speaker 2 (08:06):
That's a good idea that it does that stuff all
the time. I take a picture.

Speaker 4 (08:11):
I know what Chinese five spies is. Yeah, it's just
a little thing. It's just the same thing as like
salt and pepper. I thought it was like something else,
a season I might have in my house.

Speaker 6 (08:22):
Well, I thought they would just have it at the
grocery store.

Speaker 4 (08:24):
I want to bring you some Chinese I might have
Chinese four spies anyway, shoots a text text JG.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
Whatever you want to say to nine six eight Night
three John, Jay and Rich. We are like a whole
I want the three things we need to know.

Speaker 6 (08:37):
Next Wednesday is the deadline for everyone to have a
real ID to travel, and the Department of Homeland Security
wants everyone to know they're enforcing that May seventh deadline.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
But here's the thing. If you aren't traveling right now,
no worries.

Speaker 6 (08:51):
If you don't mind carrying your passport while traveling in
the country, no worries. But if you want to be
able to just use your ID for that trip, you
need to make it appointment at the DMV to switch
to a real ID. Make sure to check the website though,
for which documentation you're going to need to bring. Their
pretty specific about it, like they won't take copies of
your marriage license. You have to have the original, so

(09:13):
just be prepared.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
Say it ain't so.

Speaker 6 (09:16):
After filing for bankruptcy for the second time earlier this year,
Forever twenty one is set to close all of its
remaining stores this week. The company did announce plans to
move operations online, so they're not completely disappearing.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
Tomorrow is free Comic Book Day.

Speaker 6 (09:33):
Bookstores, comic bookshops, and libraries nationwide are celebrating reading and
imagination with free events and comics. DC Comics and Marvel
are featuring some really cool freebies. There's also going to
be twelve titles up for grabs, chosen by the Free
Comic Book Day Committee. Didn't even know that was a
real thing, but it is. From Doctor Seuss to Minecraft

(09:53):
and Star Wars. There's actually tons of shops locally participating.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
I checked it out. You can too.

Speaker 6 (09:59):
Just go to Freak Comic Bookday dot com and you
can use the find a shop tab to find one
near you.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
And that's three things you need to know.
