Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, good morning. It's John Jay and rich our phone
number eight seven seven nine three seven one four seven
to text to show. You can text JJR in your
message to nine six eight ninety three. John Jay had
to step out. He had to go take care of
some family stuff. So now it's just us three and
(00:20):
of course Nick and Noah and Dylan and everybody else.
But we're here and John Jay and his family taking
care of some stuff. Yeah, we're sinning our love. Yeah.
So and I'll let him tell that story because that's
their story to tell. Yeah for sure. Yeah, but you know,
hopefully everything's okay and we will chance with him when
we come back. I want to ask you, Kyle, because
(00:40):
it used to be back in the day once a
week you were obsessed with the Crumpled Cookies. Yeah, it
was a problem and all of the flavors, and it's
like you could have you could see Kyle being stressed
under the pressure of the show. But then when the
Crumple Cookies announced their new flavors, she would light up.
(01:01):
You'd be like, oh, yeah, I know.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
I looked forward to it, like every Sunday on their
Instagram they announced their new flavors, and it did get
to be a little like, WHOA, I need to scale
myself back a little bit because they're quite the indulgence.
I love Crumble cookies, but like, yeah, you get to
watch happen them every week, so I've taken a break
from them for a while. And my kids they also
love Rumble cookies, but they only like the milk chocolate,
(01:25):
chocolate chip ones.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
That's it.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
They don't like I like all the fancy ones, Like
give me the cheesecake one, give me all the other ones.
So the other day I was running running an errand
and I walked right past a Crumble cookie while I
was running into my erran and I was like, you
know what, I'm on my way to do this erran
And afterwards, I'm gonna go pick up my kids and
I'm gonna do something special for them. I'm gonna get
them a Crumble cookie. So when I picked them up
from school, they get this.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
Yummy Sopress's amazing.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
Right, So I'm like, but am I going to be
able to resist? Because I've felt my jeans getting tight lately.
I've been feeling like you don't want to feel that
going into the holiday season, and I'm already there. It's like,
you know, usually that happens to me after because I'm like, yeah,
all of the holidays, you got Halloween and Halloween, all
(02:10):
the things. So I've already gotten to that point where
I'm like, Okay, I'm not necessarily starting a New Year's
resolution right now, but I need to, like I need
to get back on track. So is this a risk
I'm willing to take walking into a Crumble because I
used to put that usually cannot resist the temptation.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
So I walk in and I.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
Order their two cookies and I'm like looking at them
and they look really good, because you know, they always
have those example cookies just sitting by the register, and I'm.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
Looking perfectly decorated and delicious, Like is.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
That an iced oatmeal cookie?
Speaker 1 (02:43):
She's like yeah, I like, I can't do it.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
I'll just take the too, thank you so much. And
so I made it. I made it out of the
Crumble cookie without getting one for myself, and I was
like patting myself on the bag and like, look at
what I just did. This is like so great to
just resist the temptation. This is like a win that
never happens. So I get the kids. They're all excited.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
Why why did you get chromal cookies?
Speaker 2 (03:04):
Is it's something special? I said, it's special because I
get to.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
See you today. I want I pick you up right.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Just sometimes I do this so and I feel like
I do that because every once in a while, my
mom would pick us up and she would get I
don't know if you guys remember that they're like.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
Pink iced sugar cookies from Circle K.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
Yes, Oh my god, those are the best.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
And she would surprise us with those cookies.
Speaker 2 (03:24):
So I think I'm starting like I want to have
that same sort of tradition, like remember when mom used
to bring home chromal cookies or whatever. Anyway, so we
get home and they're eating part of the cookie and
Easton's like, I don't want the rest? Do you want it?
Speaker 1 (03:35):
And I'm like, no, you already like like watched through
fire they got out the other side.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
Yeah, And I was like, how about I cut it
up and put some of it in your lunch tomorrow
and then maybe the next day. And he's like, okay,
So I'm cutting like the bites off to cut it
into like a perfect triangle, and I'm like a couple
of bites, won't I was like, you know what, I
ruined it.
Speaker 1 (04:03):
It did. I cannot have no self. It's the same
thing when I get Randy's donuts from my kids, because
they are they look delicious. I can walk by that
donut box probably ten or eleven times, but the twelfth
time I will eat three.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
If it's in the house and staring me in the face.
It's like, okay, fine.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Yeah, you're only you can go to waste, You're only human.
And was delicious. It was delicious, so told me some crumble.
But so you're kind of back.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
Yeah, well the but you know, I figured normally I
would have a whole entire one.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
Right, this was a few bikes.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
Yeah, I mean I feel like an oatmeal cookie is
a healthier version of a cookie.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
Should have just caught cookie. You're probably.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
There.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
I'm starting me today.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
You know, all we can do is work on ourselves,
one day at a time.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
Right. Kyle on Fuck is the first person to start
her New Year's resolution in the middle of November. It
had started getting after it
