Hi, Karin, Oh my gosh.
Speaker 6 (00:43):
Okay, So yeah, So I just saw my house and
I'm in an apartment on a lease for a while,
and the neighbors are complaining about the noises. But I
know they're talking about say literally, because like the one I,
you know, I moved in. I was exhausted. My boyfriend
and I we had a little argument and we were
(01:06):
kind of loud, and that was kind of late that night,
Like I don't know, ten thirty eleven. And then so
the next day the guy comes over knocking on the
door and he says, yeah, I don't think they told
you when you moved in. The walls share are paper thin.
And I said, oh, I'm really sorry, sir. You know
you heard us arguing.
Speaker 7 (01:26):
And he's like, no, not just that.
Speaker 6 (01:28):
He goes, we can hear everything. And when I say everything,
I mean everything, and so I'm just like, oh, And
so I kind of didn't think a whole lot of it.
But then a couple days later, I get a note
on my door and then it's from the daughter and
it's like in this green gel pen and it says,
(01:50):
you guys seem like such sweet people. But it's just
me and my dad and we mind our own business
and we're really quiet, you know. And but my bedroom
is above your bedroom and I can hear everything, and
she says, and it's really disturbing. And so but it's like,
(02:10):
you guys, it's not even like my boyfriend went home
at eight thirty the one night I checked my phone
like this is you know what I mean? Like, what
am I supposed to do?
Speaker 5 (02:22):
Well? First, you said you were arguing, So what was
there sex going on in your apartment at any points
that you live there?
Speaker 6 (02:29):
Well, god, all the time.
Speaker 7 (02:30):
But I'm just.
Speaker 6 (02:33):
Healthy. I'm a very healthy woman. Yes, and my boyfriend's
quite a bit younger than me, and you know, we
are passionate. And but I mean, what do I do
stick a rag in my mouth? You know what I mean?
Speaker 5 (02:45):
Maybe? Why don't you turn on the TV or turn
on the radio when you're doing it?
Speaker 8 (02:54):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (02:54):
Well I guess so, yeah, I'll just put on John
Jay Henry.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
Yeah, what a great h that. It's like oysters. That's
an aphrodisiac. We hear play them this play find this
on the podcast.
Speaker 7 (03:04):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 5 (03:05):
So when you wait, wait wait okay, wait, okay wait wait,
but be honest, Krinn, when you guys are doing it,
are you louder than normal?
Speaker 4 (03:11):
Are you?
Speaker 5 (03:11):
Because you're I mean you have a very boisterous personality
right now?
Speaker 1 (03:15):
I mean that kind of maybe I can't imagine it
a little bit like are you are you?
Speaker 5 (03:21):
Are you when you're doing it? Are you?
Speaker 4 (03:23):
Are you cussing? Are you talking to you?
Speaker 6 (03:26):
But you know, it's just kind of like yeah, you
know what you say? You know, hey, baby and all,
come on you know, like whatever, Like you know what
I mean, you don't realize it when you're like in
the throes of it all.
Speaker 5 (03:35):
How young is the daughter that's upstairs they can hear you.
Speaker 7 (03:38):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (03:39):
She says she's in school, so I'm assuming she's maybe
a teenager. I think the dad might be.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
Wow, that's tough.
Speaker 8 (03:45):
I was gonna say, because I like it was an
older daughter, I would just be like, girlfriend, sounds like
you need to get some too.
Speaker 6 (03:50):
That would be my curiously right, And I'm seriously because
it's like, what if there was a baby crying? Should
we shut the baby up? You know what I mean,
it's just because it's sex they want to complain about.
Speaker 8 (04:01):
I'm like, nobody wants to.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
Hear you doing. They're all very understanding, but you are
just so annoying.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
How long I mean it like a house? I think
you get by a house then okay, but you maybe
could you cut it down to like a half an
hour or so where it's not like, you know, like
all night.
Speaker 8 (04:18):
It's like making at like one am. That's not cool.
Speaker 6 (04:22):
But no, guys, it's not. It's like at eight o'clock
at night, you know, And that's literally it's like.
Speaker 5 (04:27):
Are you doing it? Are you doing it? Is your
bedroom below her bedroom? Can you go do it in
the living room?
Speaker 4 (04:33):
Can you do?
Speaker 6 (04:34):
Can I get the broom handle? Well, that's what we've
been doing, is I've been having to go to the
living room. But it's like, you know, you want to
be in bed, like before you get ready to sleep
and get cozy and get intimate, you know, and it's like,
then I get the broom handle.
Speaker 9 (04:46):
Bam bam, bam bam bam.
Speaker 5 (04:47):
You know, maybe that's what they're screaming about. To take
it easy on your boyfriend.
Speaker 6 (04:53):
He liked it realistically. Okay, so you guys go to bed,
you know, and you guys are tired. But a normal
schedule is like dinner's done around six, you know what
I mean. And you know you get cozy. I mean,
by most rules, by ten o'clock is when you be quiet.
But this is like eight o'clock. So seriously, like, what
(05:15):
am I supposed to do? I'm stuck there for a
year on a leaf.
Speaker 8 (05:20):
You know.
Speaker 1 (05:20):
I think you need to find a house.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
Yea off the country.
Speaker 6 (05:25):
House and I sold it, so all have to get
penalized if I move.
Speaker 5 (05:30):
You know, Well, congratulations, congratulations on a healthy sex life.
Speaker 6 (05:34):
That's you, guys, are not healthy.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
I would say, I know you don't want to, and
I know.
Speaker 10 (05:41):
That you you don't feel like you need to, but
I think you probably should tone it down a little bit.
Speaker 6 (05:46):
I just down, we've been, Yeah, we've I mean, it's
a kid.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
A kid is hearing noises.
Speaker 9 (05:53):
Yeah, I know.
Speaker 6 (05:54):
Well, And I don't think she's young young because I
thought she was an adult when I saw her walk upstairs.
So she's probably maybe at the youngest, like eighteen or nineteen.
Speaker 4 (06:05):
She's you know, so.
Speaker 6 (06:06):
I don't know if she's like at the end of
high school, beginning of college.
Speaker 11 (06:09):
I'm not really sure.
Speaker 4 (06:10):
Invite the dad over, joh yeah.
Speaker 6 (06:13):
Well no, he's like I can tell, he's like angry
and like you can hear him dropping his weights all
the time and working out, and then he came over
looking all steroid it out.
Speaker 12 (06:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (06:22):
I'm like, well, you're not.
Speaker 6 (06:24):
He's not getting sex clearly, I mean.
Speaker 4 (06:26):
Right, That's what I'm saying. To invite him over.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
I don't want give give him on a broom handle.
Speaker 4 (06:33):
Give me give him the broom handle here.
Speaker 6 (06:35):
Janey, you're no help.
Speaker 5 (06:37):

Speaker 8 (07:17):

and your holiday de Lulu level, your Delulu level is
thinking the holidays will be calm this year while simultaneously
planning a twelve hour biging day and refusing to leave
the couch. You want cozy peace and THEO responsibilities, and
you can't have both. You gotta pick one.

Megan answer.
Speaker 8 (07:49):
Okay, so we're talking about holiday de Lulu levels. Your
Delulu level is expecting everyone to behave, get along and
magically understand your emotional needs without you having to say word.
You're kind of building a hallmark moment in your own head,
and then you get mad at people when they don't
follow the script.
Speaker 9 (08:05):
Okay, and sounds good.
Speaker 5 (08:07):
Nice megs Sylvia, Hi, Hi, what's your sign?
Speaker 9 (08:13):
I am a Leo.

Just like me. Okay, for us Leo's this holiday season,
our holiday de lulu is imagining we're gonna make a simple,
chill celebration, but our version of chill involves a photoshoot,
coordinated outfits and at least one sparkly moment. We Leo's
are the holiday So our de Lulu level is on
ten this year.
Speaker 9 (08:34):
Awesome. That's perfectly me.
Speaker 4 (08:37):
Thanks, Sylvia, have a great day you two.
Speaker 9 (08:40):
Thanks, go buy How.
Speaker 8 (08:41):
About pisces rich for you for your holiday de Lulu level?
You're believing in. You're believing your holiday will play out
like an aesthetic Instagram reel with soft lighting, perfect vibes,
zero stress. Reality will not be that, but you're still
gonna find magic in the mess. So that's a good thing.
Speaker 1 (08:56):
Listen, this is why this tell me you're all the
Hallmark movies are so good because that life is real.
Speaker 8 (09:02):
How about Libras Libra's Kyle. Your holiday de lulua level
is fully believing you can please everyone. You're trying to
balance friends, family, events, and feelings like you're running a
seasonal like program. But something has to give and it's
not going to be your outfit. That's right, exactly, well,
your outfit will give, but like not in that kind
of way.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
Okay, how about Burgos.
Speaker 8 (09:23):
John Jay, Your delusion is thinking you can plan the
perfect day with an o chaos or drama or miscommunication,
but like, families exist, so just embrace the mess a
little bit.
Speaker 5 (09:34):
Thank you, Peyton. And if you missed your horse grope,
it's posted on a website right now, John Jaynrich dot com.
Speaker 4 (09:41):
One O four seven KSFM John Jay and Rich.
Speaker 5 (09:44):
Devin Booker is a massive star, massive star, one of
the best basketball players in the country, in the world,
in the history of the game. And he doesn't do interviews.
And there's a story that's getting a lot of publicity
because this girl got an interview with him, a one
on one interview, and she like messaged me for stuff
and she was going to volunteer for love Pop and
(10:05):
I kind of followed her story and it's really cool
because she's gone viral and I thought it'd be cool
we got on her show and talk get her on
our show and talk about what's happened and the process.
Is it Brianna? Is that you her name? Or is
Brianna Brianna?
Speaker 15 (10:18):
It's Brianna. Yes, it's a little difficult with the spelling,
but it's Brianna.
Speaker 5 (10:22):
So tell us your story, tell us your sports background,
tell us where you're from, and tell us how this
thing happened, because it's a really cool story with you
and Devin Booker.
Speaker 15 (10:29):
Yes, thank you. So First, I grew up in Michigan
pretty much where he did as well, but a little
bit of a backstory. I just graduated high school this
year in twenty twenty five of May, and I didn't
get my dad's gibill, which is weird because he did
over twenty years in the service. But there was just
something and I wasn't able to get it. So I'm
starting at community college and then I'm going to work
(10:50):
my way up to Walter Cronkite and look for scholarships there,
and then obviously, since I'm not in university, I have
to work a thousand times harder to get these opportunities
these because a lot of kids in universities do. And
it's definitely been a journey for me, honestly, but just
staying consistent, being persistent, and then keeping God in my
life has really made these opportunities for me possible. And
(11:14):
along the way, I've actually interviewed a lot of amazing
athletes like Will Hernandez He's from the Cardinals, he's an
offensive lineman, Eric Priest with Golden Boy Promotions. I've interviewed
Matt Barnes, Eddie House, Mike Bibby, coach Ty Ellis with
the Las Vegas Aces. And that's just to name a
few of my athlete interviews. And every one of those
(11:34):
athlete interviews has helped me grow and prepare for the
Devin Booker interview.
Speaker 4 (11:41):
Are you reading something? Are you just talking to us?
Speaker 15 (11:44):
I'm just talking.
Speaker 4 (11:45):
Oh it sounds like you're reading.
Speaker 15 (11:49):
Yeah, I've been practicing all morning.
Speaker 5 (11:51):
Okay, well good, but let me tell you something Kyle
on our show, she went to the Walter Cronk High
School too, so look at now she's she's like a professional.
Speaker 4 (11:57):
So those are good goals to have.
Speaker 10 (11:59):
I don't sound professionalist Brionna that so I'm impressed.
Speaker 5 (12:02):
But Brianna, so what is your life? Do you have
a podcast?
Speaker 15 (12:05):
Like?
Speaker 5 (12:05):
What is the story? What'd you do? You started a
sports podcast? You're obviously a sports fan.
Speaker 7 (12:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 15 (12:10):
So I just started a Instagram literally a year ago,
and I'm on a podcast. On Thanksgiving. They let me
on a podcast. It's called the Pickham Pros, and they
believed in me and I've been a part of it
ever since. So I'm just blessed that they saw something
in me. And ever since then, I've just been doing
amazing and I've been going to all these events and
(12:32):
interviewing all these athletes and it's just a big blessing.
Since twenty twenty one, I think I went to Sun's
games with posters to get his attention, and he saw
them a lot, especially one of my posters that I
actually have a photo with with Booker, but I have
my posters, and then I would go to all these games.
(12:52):
I went to like many a month, which was insane.
And then this year, about a few months ago, before
the season started, I was just making videos for Booker
more posters, and then I made a video recently about
a month ago that went viral. Everyone sent it to
Booker and the Phoenix Suns and a lot of people
(13:14):
helped me get his attention, and like Steve, he's in
Scott's Day, works with switch Den and Monte's m podcast.
So everyone was like helping me with that, and all
of a sudden, yes.
Speaker 2 (13:29):
I feel like I know Monte in the studio.
Speaker 7 (13:32):
Oh yeah, yeah, he's awesome.
Speaker 15 (13:38):
Yeah, I call him my unk. Okay, okay, yeah, so yes,
So I made that video. It went a little viral
and everyone was sending it and then I got a
phone call randomly from the Phoenix Suns and I was
like hello, like are you serious? Is this true? Because
you know, I've been working so hard for this moment
(14:00):
and I'm only nineteen, so it was really cool. I
got the interview we planned it. I found out Thursday.
Speaker 4 (14:08):
You get the phone call PHO, what do they say?
Speaker 15 (14:12):
They're like, Hey, this is oh bloah with the Phoenix
Suns and we want to call. We're calling you to
get this interview with Booker scheduled. And I'm like wow, yeah,
And that was a month ago Thursday, I found out
that I was doing it on Saturday. Okay, this past Saturday.
Speaker 4 (14:27):
So where'd you go? Saturday?
Speaker 15 (14:30):
The performance center Okay in Scottsdale, their practice center, and
we were in a room and I was not nervous
one bit, which is surprising because that's like the biggest
interview for me, right, that's like the foundation to my career.
And it was amazing. We had a great connection this
whole interview. It was nothing but last smiles, great conversations.
(14:53):
And we're both from Michigan, right, so we already have
that connection and we already know the same thing. So
I think that made it a lot easier year and
a lot better. And it's just crazy because he doesn't
do interviews, so it's amazing.
Speaker 5 (15:06):
So where can we watch? Where can we watch?
Speaker 15 (15:08):
The interview will be released this week on YouTube at
the Pickham.
Speaker 1 (15:12):
Pros Look at You Going?
Speaker 4 (15:15):
Is the Pickham Pros Is? That is that Monte's podcast?
Speaker 15 (15:19):
No, Monte's podcast is QMO pickam Pros Is. They're based
in North Carolina, so they're who I started with originally.
Speaker 4 (15:27):
Wow, that's great.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
Good for you under them?
Speaker 4 (15:31):
Yeah, thank you, nice job.
Speaker 5 (15:33):
So how was Devid. Was he cool? Did you talk
to him for a half hour five minutes? How long
was the interview?
Speaker 1 (15:38):
Yeah?
Speaker 15 (15:38):
About half hour and the nicest person ever.
Speaker 4 (15:42):
Yeah, that's great.
Speaker 15 (15:44):
He's amazing.
Speaker 1 (15:45):
Yeah, we're not worried about you. You're going to do
big things like you You will not be stopped. You
can hear it in her voice, right, Yeah, she's raised.
Speaker 2 (15:52):
Has already paid off for you.
Speaker 4 (15:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (15:54):
Me, don't lose that fire. I mean, you keep that
your whole life and you'll keep on moving up.
Speaker 5 (15:59):
So you're goal now is to get a scholarship to
a s U to the Walter Cronkite School.
Speaker 15 (16:05):
Yes, and now I need to find another person to
get the interview from.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
What is your next goal?
Speaker 15 (16:11):
I mean, I've met Dylan Brooks twice now, I think
that would be a really cool one.
Speaker 4 (16:17):
That that would be cool. He's very nice.
Speaker 5 (16:18):
But the thing is, though, I mean, you hit the
kind of the pinnacle here, like that's like the biggest interview.
Speaker 8 (16:25):
Like, yeah, I don't know you you go to the Cardinals.
Speaker 5 (16:28):
Oh way, you gotta go, you got, you gotta go
to cristialbo Ronaldo, you got, yeah, you got. You're pretty
much max out.
Speaker 2 (16:39):
The girl yeah, those would be fun.
Speaker 5 (16:44):
But you gotta let the you gotta let those are
all and I bet you those will all come if
you want them.
Speaker 4 (16:48):
Those.
Speaker 10 (16:49):
Yes, but you need to start your own podcast where
you you all the goats of each sport. So you
do like Christiana Ronaldo, then you do like Roger Federer.
Speaker 4 (16:58):
Where did you go to high school?
Speaker 15 (17:00):
I went to Hickley High School in the East.
Speaker 9 (17:01):
Valley night right on.
Speaker 4 (17:03):
Okay, so do your parents know what you did? They
must be very proud.
Speaker 15 (17:07):
Yeah, in high school. Actually, there's a competition called JEA
and I. It's like a journalism convention championship. And two
years in a row, I made a video on sport
related to my school. I filmed, edit it everything, and
I went back to that first place.
Speaker 1 (17:23):
Look at you.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
That's awesome.
Speaker 4 (17:25):
Well congratulations.
Speaker 5 (17:27):
Let us know when the podcast drops and we will
help you promote it.
Speaker 15 (17:31):
Oh awesome, that'd be awesome. Thank you so much.
Speaker 5 (17:33):
You got a brand. We'll have a great day. Anything
else you want to say, anybody you want to put
the word out? You want Larry Fitzgerald doing, Charles Barkley?
Who else?
Speaker 8 (17:41):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (17:41):
Anybody else do you think of?
Speaker 11 (17:43):
I don't know.
Speaker 15 (17:44):
I think those two are the major ones. Charles Barkley,
my mom's the biggest fan. She would just flip out.
Speaker 1 (17:49):
You'd be a good one for you too, since she
lives here. As dan Ka Patrick, you do the race
world too, that'd be kind of cool.
Speaker 15 (17:54):
Oh yeah, man, there's so many options.
Speaker 5 (17:58):
Are you still going to go to Sun's games? Or
you kind of like I got Booker, I'm done? Are you?
Speaker 4 (18:02):
Are you a Suns fan out?
Speaker 15 (18:03):
No, I'm a Suns fan.
Speaker 1 (18:04):
Okay, all right, I want to go to.
Speaker 15 (18:06):
The one on the twenty first against the Timberwolves because
that one will be really good.
Speaker 4 (18:10):
I'll be there. I have to take it to the game.
Speaker 5 (18:12):

Just send John Jay and Richard message now.
Speaker 5 (18:39):
John Jay and rich it's time for stacks and hacks.
I have stacks and rich as live hacks, stacks and
stacks of information. Paul found that would you factor in food, travel,
and other expenses, Thanksgiving will cost the average American nearly
how much?
Speaker 4 (18:53):
How much you think.
Speaker 1 (18:53):
Four hundred dollars Nope, one hundred and seventy one dollars,
one thousand dollars dollars.
Speaker 5 (19:00):
Yeah, I mean, I can break it down for it
if you want. Wasn't I wasn't prepared for that.
Speaker 10 (19:05):
Actually, maybe the travel probably the most. And then obviously
food costs have gone out unless you used to take
advantage of like I think Walmart, Target, and Amazon, they
all have really great deals for Thanksgiving food.
Speaker 4 (19:14):
Let me break it down for your travel.
Speaker 5 (19:15):
That includes things like gas, plane tickets, hotels, if you're
flying with kids. There's a lot more than that one
hundred and seventy five dollars for food. That's high because
a lot of us do multiple Thanksgivings. Now, fifty nine
percent of Great Thanksgiving Day has turned into Thanksgiving season.
One hundred and ten dollars on drinks, not just one Thanksgiving,
eighty three dollars on decorations, two hundred and ninety one
dollars and other random stuff. We spent almost three hundred
(19:36):
dollars in miscellaneous expenses around the Thanksgiving holiday. A fight
over Thanksgiving turned into a shootout at a grocery store
North Carolina on Thursday. One guy was arguing with the
cashier over the price of a turkey. Then another guy
stepped in got into a fist fight with him, and
they both had guns. One shot. One guy got shot
in the arm and the other guy did. In fact,
(19:57):
I have audio of it.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 5 (19:58):
Yeah, it's really crazy the audio.
Speaker 4 (20:02):
But here you got a gun.
Speaker 8 (20:10):
That's why I'm kind of glad my family doesn't do
like your traditional Thanksgiving because there's no arguing with people
at the grocery stores are getting, you know, let down
when there's no more marshmallows for your sweet potatoes.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
So you guys do hot dogs, right?
Speaker 8 (20:21):
Do chili dogs?
Speaker 2 (20:22):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (20:22):
That's pretty great. Chili dogs are awesome.
Speaker 8 (20:25):
We just don't like Thanksgiving food isn't really our jam.
Speaker 4 (20:27):
You don't have to buy those at the grocery store.
Speaker 8 (20:30):
We do, but like they're in stock.
Speaker 10 (20:32):
Nobody's fighting over the chili dogs because I was trying
to get the.
Speaker 4 (20:36):
Bird you know, to get a chili dogs.
Speaker 5 (20:37):
A guy with a suspicious bulge was caught trying to
smogle two parakeets in from Mexico, so hiding them in
his underwear. Twenty two year old guy in Greece is
fighting for his life after friends say he tried to
swallow an entire hamburger without chewing it.
Speaker 4 (20:51):
Just to be funny.
Speaker 2 (20:51):
Oh yeah, that's not funny.
Speaker 4 (20:55):
Man'd be tough to do. Kyle, you have young, young children.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
I do.
Speaker 4 (21:00):
There is a survey or research done. According to a therapist.
Speaker 5 (21:05):
It says it's hard sometimes to get your kid to
answer questions like when you pick them up from the school.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
Oh my gosh. Yes, According to a.
Speaker 5 (21:11):
Therapist, here are questions you could ask your kids after
school that would get a better response. What was the
best part of your day? What's the mistake you learned
from today? Who were you proud of today? What's one
thing that could have made your day better? Who did
you help today? What was the most interesting thing you
learned today? What's something new you'd like to try.
Speaker 10 (21:31):
I love all of those, but I have realized that
with my kids, I don't know if this is all kids.
Speaker 2 (21:37):
I have to wait at least until dinner time.
Speaker 10 (21:39):
It's like, and I think about it, like after a
long day at work, which is kind of like what
they go through at school.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
It's a long day at school. I don't want to
talk to anyone. I want to answer questions, so I
kind of give.
Speaker 10 (21:48):
Them their space to decompress a little bit, and then
at dinner lately, that's what we've been doing, like what
was the best part of your day?
Speaker 2 (21:53):
What was the worst for your day?
Speaker 5 (21:54):
That those doctor Lehman we used to have in here
all the time, he said one time, because I was
going through with my kids.
Speaker 4 (21:59):
Hey house school.
Speaker 5 (22:00):
Fine, Yeah, He's like, don't ask him anything, just wait
and they'll just start telling you.
Speaker 4 (22:05):
And they do. They do.
Speaker 5 (22:06):
We just sit there at dinner or something like that,
and then it just starts spewing out things starts spewing out.
Speaker 13 (22:10):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (22:11):
Anyway, so this is another story, I guess.
Speaker 5 (22:14):
Reddit asked a bunch of straight men, straight guys, who
do they think are hot and attractive other straight men? Right,
So there's a list of actors that are straight men
say are sexy and hot still Brad piston Er nine
the list. I put him up on that list. One
of the guys on the list I put up there
on is Idris Elbow. He's number eighteen. Look you got
David Beckham, Cana Reeves, Jason Momoa, don't see.
Speaker 1 (22:39):
Denzel Chris, Chris Hemsworth, guys.
Speaker 8 (22:45):
Chris Jordan.
Speaker 4 (22:46):
No Chris Hemsworth che Nope no Chris.
Speaker 2 (22:49):
Pine, Michael B.
Speaker 8 (22:51):
Jordan's no.
Speaker 4 (22:55):
Ryan Gosling's on the list.
Speaker 5 (22:56):
Number one on the list is Chris Evans.
Speaker 1 (22:59):
Pretty dreamy, well as you should. Okay, well, you know.
Thanksgiving week is what we like to call the super
Bowl of lost luggage because it happens in traveling. It's
going to be a lot because things are kind of
coming back online. So here's the trick. Nobody does, but
everybody should, so pay attention to this. Take a picture
of the inside of your suitcase before you zip it up,
(23:21):
lay it open, Snap one photo. Keep that because if
the airline misplaces your bag and this week they're going
to read your bag is probably gonna get lost at
some point, you show them the picture. It speeds up
the claim process actually, and it proves what's inside, so
they're way more likely to find it fast and bonus,
as somebody accidentally walks off with your bag because everybody
(23:41):
in their grandma travels with the same black roller. Now,
now you've got visual proof of what the inside looks like.
Nobody else packs like you. You've got the picture. You're
good to go. It's the easiest and cheapest insurance policy
you can have for your luggage. So try that. That
life hacking. Many more can be found at John jay
and Rich dot com.
Speaker 5 (23:57):
All right, we're getting ready for a second eight updates. Cold,
good morning. What's going on in your dating world? How
can we help you? Oh?
Speaker 13 (24:04):
I had a really good time with this girl and
a date. You know, we went dinner and drinks, dancing.
We even got a hotel room after the date.
Speaker 5 (24:13):
It was so good.
Speaker 13 (24:14):
And now I'm hearing nothing.
Speaker 4 (24:16):
You got a hotel room. You got a hotel room?
Speaker 5 (24:19):
Is that were you? There was nudity, There was nudity,
and she won't call you back. All right, we're gonna deeve, deeve.
We're gonna deep dive into it. That's a deep dive,
deep dive. Second date Update starts next with John Jaye
Rich John Jayane Rich. Time for second date Update. You
(24:42):
meet somebody you got on a date and you.
Speaker 4 (24:44):
Have a great time.
Speaker 5 (24:45):
He thinks there's gonna be a second date, but there isn't.
So you come to us. We're gonna troubleshoot your date,
find out where things gone wrong. Cold.
Speaker 4 (24:52):
Good morning, Good morning, guys. What's your story, Cole.
Speaker 13 (24:56):
I've been spiraling ever since U had this amazing date
with this girl. Her name's Brie. And I'm not even
exaggering when I say the other.
Speaker 4 (25:07):
Date was unreal.
Speaker 13 (25:08):
I mean we were laughing all night, we bar hopped,
we were dancing, like everything just felt effortless, just easy
in a way that it normally doesn't for me. And
I usually am an overthinker, So when I know that
things are just kind of smooth, I know that things
are really kind of clicking. And so we ended up
(25:30):
getting a room and having a lovely time, and the
next morning was even better. We had like breakfast in bed,
we were cuddling, she'd still have my pancakes, which I
thought was adorable, and I just left thinking we were
absolutely going to see each other again. And it's been
a week and a half and I've heard radio silence,
So of course I'm like replaying everything I did, whether
(25:53):
it's snoring, did I say something stupid. I just I
don't know. It wasn't my morning breath. I have no
idea what is going on, and it's driving me crazy.
Speaker 5 (26:03):
Man.
Speaker 8 (26:03):
That's a tough one, I know, because especially you have
like the whole morning after and it was like a
pleasant experience and not a walk of shame.
Speaker 4 (26:10):
Could she be in a hooker?
Speaker 13 (26:11):
Totally?
Speaker 15 (26:13):
No?
Speaker 10 (26:13):
I know.
Speaker 2 (26:13):
I'm like, you got a room?
Speaker 10 (26:15):
Like, can we like spur of the moment, let's get
a hotel room now, Like, let's go back to one
of our houses.
Speaker 13 (26:22):
Yeah, Well, we just were indulging a little on the
date and decided it would be a safer and a
romantic way to kind of not be driving.
Speaker 1 (26:32):
Okay, so were you like were you eating it like
a restaurant that is attached to a hotel, because that
seems like a lot more involved, Like we're going to
do it. Then let's go back to my place to
hang out.
Speaker 5 (26:44):
Let's say you're at this place right down here, which
has got great restaurants, great hotel, and you hit it
off and your passionate and things are gone. Let's get
a hotel right here, right now. I have a friend
that does that.
Speaker 13 (26:55):
Well, we ended up, We ended up bar hopping. So
one of the bars ended up being in a hotel.
Speaker 2 (27:01):
Okay, yeah, that makes sense, which is.
Speaker 13 (27:03):
Where the idea kind of came. And like, oh, we
could go pick this upstairs, and I like doing.
Speaker 1 (27:08):
It kind of fun.
Speaker 13 (27:10):
It was spontaneous. I've never done that before, but it
was actually kind of a clutch move.
Speaker 4 (27:15):
It was it was great.
Speaker 1 (27:16):
Well, could it be that you're no good at making love?
And that's the problem.
Speaker 8 (27:19):
Why is that always your red? Did you always that
they are.
Speaker 2 (27:24):
Bad at love?
Speaker 13 (27:26):
I hope not. But that's why I'm calling you to
find out what what happened?
Speaker 4 (27:32):
Well, we'll call her, We'll find out for you. Man.
Speaker 5 (27:35):
You know It's funny, is like I see like you're
all passionate. Let's just get to be making out the
bar or whatever. Let's get a room. Then you go
to the lobby like can we get a room for
the night? Police and they're like do you have a reservation?
You're like, I don't, but I just like a room
for the night, okay. And then kind have a credit
card do you fill out everything on? And then you're like,
do you want to leave some money for incidentals?
Speaker 4 (27:52):
And would you like it?
Speaker 5 (27:53):
Would you like to be join a membership by that time,
like it's all like, oh my god, forget it. He's
gone in the car in the parking lot. All right, Cole,
we'll call brief for you. All right.
Speaker 4 (28:05):
Second date up? Did you use next to John? Jay
and rich.
Speaker 5 (28:09):
We're in the middle of second date update Cole and Brie.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
Fall brings new love. The season blossomed for Cole in
Brie Is. They laughed through dinner and then decided to
take it to a hotel room. But Cole claims he
had a magic night. Brie is ghosting him. Could he
be terrible at love making? I think he is, and
that is why she's ghosting it.
Speaker 4 (28:33):
But we'll find out, all right, col that's a little recap.
That's pretty much it.
Speaker 5 (28:37):
Step for it. Richie did leave out that she ate
half his pancakes. Oh yes, maybe he made a cute
little comment about that, and she's like, screw you man.
All right, we're gonna get pre on the phone and
find out why she's blowing you off. Whoa are you ready?
Speaker 4 (28:48):
All right? Hold on, here we go.
Speaker 2 (29:08):
Hello, Hi, is breather there?
Speaker 11 (29:11):
Uh yeah, this is her.
Speaker 2 (29:13):
Hey Bree.
Speaker 8 (29:13):
My name is Peyton. I'm with John Jaye Rich and
we just wanted to talk to you on the radio
really quickly, if you got some time this morning.
Speaker 5 (29:21):
Uh sure, sore. Wow, We're talking to this guy about
a great date that he went on. He was fantastic
the date. I mean like the way he described the
date and the way the date ended seemed like a
home run. You were the date, by the way, and
how he told us about bar hopping, the great dinner,
great conversation. You guys got a hotel room, you spent
(29:41):
the night, you woke up and had breakfast, you cuddled,
and he says you're blowing him off, and we were
like why. So we don't understand why, because you end
up spent the night with him at a hotel, so
you must have liked him. So we thought we would
call you and if you wouldn't mind telling us your thoughts,
your point of view on coal and why you are
blowing them off, or maybe you're not blowing him off,
but just so we can give him some peace.
Speaker 11 (30:03):
Oh uh okay, Yeah, Cole was great. I had a
lot of fun on the date. He's super easy to
talk to, and yeah, I had a lot of fun.
Speaker 7 (30:17):
I don't know.
Speaker 11 (30:18):
We laughed a lot. The sex was great. It was
just one of those things that you know. I got
home and reality kicks in and I hope he doesn't
like touch. I don't know. God, it sounds like a
caught feelings or something. I just I don't know.
Speaker 7 (30:37):
I don't know.
Speaker 11 (30:37):
I can't really see myself with him. I don't really
see myself with anyone right now, to be totally honest.
Speaker 13 (30:46):
Wait, wait, wait, hold on, what do you mean this
is like some sort of fantasy thing right now?
Speaker 5 (30:53):
Cole?
Speaker 11 (30:56):
Yello?
Speaker 5 (30:59):
What wait?
Speaker 2 (31:00):
What is this?
Speaker 7 (31:01):
Hold on?
Speaker 13 (31:02):
Sorry?
Speaker 5 (31:03):
What this is called second date update? Cole called us
because you wanted to know why you're blowing him off,
and we totally find out.
Speaker 11 (31:10):
Oh and he's on the Okay, I'm sorry. I didn't
understand that. I am I okay, I'm so sorry, Cole.
I wasn't like trying to be mean or anything. I'm
just I don't I don't know if you heard anything
that I said, but like, I just don't. I don't
(31:33):
really know what I want right now. And it wasn't
anything personal. And I did have a really nice time
with you, but the whole day.
Speaker 13 (31:41):
In the morning, the breakfast in bed, the cuddling. It
meant nothing like you're into me at all.
Speaker 11 (31:49):
No, that's not true. And I was and you that night.
It's I thought, sounds horrible. I'm I'm in a I'm
in a weird place, and I'm not ready to date
anyone seriously, which I told you that. And I just
I kind of just thought it was like a one
night thing. I didn't I didn't expect you to, you know,
(32:11):
catch feelings.
Speaker 13 (32:13):
So I mean I didn't catch feelings. I just I
debtitely had a connection like you may feel like we did, I.
Speaker 5 (32:22):
Know, I know.
Speaker 11 (32:23):
Well sorry, I mean I did say that I didn't.
You know, I'm sorry. I feel really bad. I just,
you know, not looking to date anyone.
Speaker 1 (32:32):
So it was just a.
Speaker 5 (32:33):
Fun day night. It was a rate you needed, like
to be touched and loved and have a little that
that kind of connection with the human being you had it.
That's that's enough to get you over till the next time, right, Yeah.
Speaker 11 (32:44):
Well everyone needs that, you know. I felt like I
was pretty upfront with where I was.
Speaker 4 (32:52):
Well, he likes you.
Speaker 13 (32:55):
I I guess I feel like a little confused because
I don't know, I mean, it feels like we were
on the same page the whole night, and I left
feeling with my cloud mind, and.
Speaker 1 (33:07):
Well it sounds like she was in the moment what
you want. She just doesn't want anymore moments like that.
Speaker 11 (33:13):
Yeah, No, you're great. It has nothing to do with you.
I just don't I'm not in a place where I
want to have a serious relationship. And I you know,
especially now talking to you, I feel like that's where
this where you want this to head. And that's just
that's just not I'm just not interested in that right now.
And I'm sorry. And I did have a great time
(33:36):
with you, and don't love that you put me on
blasts on the radio, to be honest, But how about this?
Speaker 5 (33:44):
What if what if he reaches out to you a
couple of weeks when you need needs more attention?
Speaker 7 (33:50):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (33:52):
I mean you said the sex was great, So I
would think every once in a while we need it.
When you need a little, when you need some affection,
you give them a call.
Speaker 10 (33:58):
Not a bad idea.
Speaker 13 (34:00):
Down, I may keeping the door open, That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 5 (34:07):
All right, you guys guy, all right, Well thank you both, Yes,
there you go, all right, thank you both.
Speaker 4 (34:20):
Hi Teresa, Hi, what's going.
Speaker 9 (34:22):
On So I heard a very earlier and I wanted
to share mine. So my two friends, I actually like
introduced them not like a year ago, and they you know,
gotten to know each other and enjoyed other company. But
(34:45):
it feels like I'm totally the place because they'll hang
out with me. Excuse me, they will hang out with
each other without me, and I just my feelings hurt.
Speaker 10 (34:59):
So you're two friends started dating and now you're mad
that they're like going on dates without you.
Speaker 9 (35:05):
Yeah, well, like we we will all hang out together, right,
and you know, we'll just go get a coffee or
you know, just like go shoppings. Now, Like I'll see
posts on the Instagram, Oh the good coffee without me. Oh,
they're trying this new restaurant. And the thing that really
has me upset. I was playing in this big trip
for all of us and it was gonna be like
(35:27):
a week long stay. It's gonna be awesome. They decided
to go be on the exact same vacation without me.
I mean, like I put in a lot of time.
Speaker 5 (35:36):
Oh wait, wait, wait wait, wait, hold on a second,
So are these friends?
Speaker 4 (35:39):
Are these people romantically involved?
Speaker 9 (35:42):
I I mean, this is just they're just friends. I
don't think anythings like you know, I don't think they're dating.
Speaker 5 (35:51):
Right, But are you guys all okay? Are you guys
all the same sex? Are you talking about like three girls?
Are you talking about a girl boy?
Speaker 4 (35:58):
Girl?
Speaker 9 (35:59):
Oh, it's like eye and a girl.
Speaker 5 (36:01):
Oh okay, Well, then they're screwing around trying to look up.
Speaker 1 (36:06):
I mean, you've got all the information you need right there.
Speaker 9 (36:10):
Oh, I mean, like you don't like to. I've hung
out with each of them like one on one before,
but I at least like invite the other.
Speaker 14 (36:20):
They don't even try to.
Speaker 9 (36:21):
I don't even try to invite me to stop. I
don't I'm a lot of dating.
Speaker 5 (36:26):
I mean, yeah, they're probably like screwing around, figuring stuff.
Speaker 1 (36:29):
Out, really getting along now. And you did a good thing.
Now they're they're hitting it off. So you were a
matchmaker and you didn't know it.
Speaker 9 (36:37):
Probably they and they do have like similar likes and
stuff like that. But if they could, you know, they
could at least say, hey, can do you want to
hang out? Do you want to go like on this
hike or something like that. I don't even get that anymore.
Speaker 4 (36:52):
Because they're probably gonna get married.
Speaker 1 (36:54):
I mean, they're they're figured it out, they're waiting to
go public.
Speaker 8 (36:57):
I do.
Speaker 10 (36:57):
I do sympathize with you because now there's like probably
a lot of fomo and your feelings are probably hurt
because you're like, hey, remember when we all used to
hang out and no, you don't even want me there,
Like that's kind of sad. But then also you have
to kind of think of it as if they are
becoming this new couple, it would be kind of weird
to be third wheeling all the time.
Speaker 9 (37:17):
Well, oh fair, everything doesn't have to be if they
are like doing dead and dating, it doesn't have to
be a date. It could just be like, you know,
we're just all hanging out and oh maybe that this
they are because they do plan on like moving in
and the next few weeks we'll be like we're going
(37:39):
in with each other.
Speaker 4 (37:40):
Okay, Yeah, it seems like you're not. You're not following along,
but that's okay.
Speaker 5 (37:45):
Like I think, you know, if they were just friends,
if you were, if it was all three of you
and you're all just friends, I could see why you'd
be like irritated because they left. Like that's what I
was talking I was sharing that story, not that long ago.
They'll have a bunch of people that I connected. They
all became good friends. They all hang out now without me,
and I'm okay with them. But you set people up
and it looks like they're romantically involved, and now they're
excluding you. It seems like there's like a barrier that's
(38:08):
not that you're not processing.
Speaker 4 (38:11):
Good luck to you. Thanks for calling in.
Speaker 1 (38:14):
Thanks, You're welcome block.
Speaker 2 (38:17):
To call on the megaphone. You saved my heart from
the fate of Oh.
Speaker 1 (38:26):
Well, good morning. It's John Jay and rich our phone
number eight seven seven nine three seven one oh four seven.
The text to show you can text JJR in your
message to nine six eight ninety three. John j had
to step out. He had to go take care of
some family stuff. So now it's just us three and
(38:46):
of course Nick and Noah and Dylan and everybody else.
But we're here and John Jay and his family taking
care of some stuff.
Speaker 2 (38:53):
Yeah, we're sending our love.
Speaker 1 (38:54):
Yeah. So and I'll let him tell that story because
that's their story to tell.
Speaker 2 (38:58):
Yeah for sure.
Speaker 1 (38:59):
Yeah, but you know, hopefully everything's okay and we will
chance with him when we come back. I want to
ask you, Kyle, because it used to be back in
the day. Once a week, you were obsessed with the
Crumble cookies.
Speaker 2 (39:13):
Yeah, it was a problem and.
Speaker 1 (39:15):
The flavors, and it's like you could have you could
see Kyle being stressed under the pressure of the show.
But then when the Crumple Cookies announced their new flavors,
she would light up and be like, oh, yeah, I know.
Speaker 10 (39:29):
I looked forward to it, like every Sunday on their
Instagram they announced their new flavors, and it did get
to be a little like, WHOA, I need to scale
myself back a little bit because they're quite the indulgence.
I love Crumble Cookies, but like, yeah, you get to
watch happen them every week. So I've taken a break
from them for a while. And my kids they also
love Drumble cookies, but they only like the milk chocolate,
(39:51):
chocolate chip ones.
Speaker 2 (39:52):
That's it.
Speaker 10 (39:53):
They don't like I like all the fancy ones, Like
give me the cheesecake one, give me all the other ones.
So the other day I was running running an errand
and I walked right past a Crumble cookie while I
was running into my errand, and I was like, you
know what, I'm on my way to do this errand
and afterwards, I'm going to go pick up my kids
and I'm going to do something special for them. I'm
going to get them a Crumble cookie. So when I
picked them up from school, they get this.
Speaker 1 (40:14):
Yummy Sopress's amazing.
Speaker 10 (40:15):
Right, So I'm like, but am I going to be
able to resist?
Speaker 2 (40:20):
Because I've felt my jeans getting tight lately.
Speaker 10 (40:23):
I've been feeling like you don't want to feel that
going into the holiday season, and I'm already there. It's like,
you know, usually that happens to me after because I'm like, yeah,
all of the holidays, you got Halloween and Halloween, all
the things. So I've already gotten to that point where
I'm like, Okay, I'm not necessarily starting a new Year's
resolution right now, but I need to, like I need
(40:45):
to get back on track. So is this a risk
I'm willing to take walking into a Crumble because I.
Speaker 1 (40:50):
Used to put.
Speaker 2 (40:52):
Usually cannot resist the temptation.
Speaker 10 (40:55):
So I walk in and I order their two cookies,
and I'm like looking at them and they look really good,
because you know they always have those example cookies just
sitting by the register, and I'm looking.
Speaker 1 (41:05):
Oh, perfectly decorated and delicious, Like.
Speaker 2 (41:07):
Is that an iced oatmeal cookie? She's like yeah, I like,
I can't do it. I'll just take the two, thank
you so much. And so I made it.
Speaker 10 (41:14):
I made it out of the chrumble cookie without getting
one for myself, and I was like patting myself on
the bag and.
Speaker 2 (41:18):
Like, Okay, what I just did. This is like so
great to just resist the temptation. This is like a
win that never happens.
Speaker 5 (41:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (41:26):
So I get the kids. They're all excited.
Speaker 10 (41:29):
Why why did you get chrumbal cookies? Is it's something special?
I said, it's special because I get to see you today.
I when I pick you up, right, Just sometimes I
do this so and I feel like I do that
because every once in a while, my mom would pick
us up and she would get I don't know if
you guys remember that they're like pink iced sugar cookies
from Circle Cake.
Speaker 2 (41:47):
Yes, oh my god, those are the best. And she
would surprise us with those cookies.
Speaker 10 (41:51):
So I think I'm starting like I want to have
that same sort of tradition, like member when mom used
to bring home.
Speaker 2 (41:55):
Chrombal cookies or whatever.
Speaker 10 (41:56):
Anyway, so we get home and they're eating part of
the cookie and Easton's like, I don't want the rest?
Speaker 2 (42:01):
Do you want it?
Speaker 1 (42:02):
And I'm like, no, you already like like walked through
fire they got out the other side.
Speaker 10 (42:11):
Yeah, And I was like, how about I cut it
up and put some of it in your lunch tomorrow
and then maybe the next day. And he's like, okay,
so I'm cutting like the bites off to cut it
into like a purple Trianon.
Speaker 2 (42:23):
I'm like, a couple of bites, won't I was like,
you know what, I ruined it.
Speaker 5 (42:29):
That's it.
Speaker 8 (42:30):
I cannot tell you.
Speaker 1 (42:33):
It's the same thing when I get Randy's donuts from
my kids, because they are they look delicious. I can
walk by that donut box probably ten or eleven times,
but the twelfth time I will eat three.
Speaker 10 (42:45):
If it's in the house and staring me in the face.
It's like, okay, fine.
Speaker 1 (42:49):
Yeah, you can go to waste. You're only human and
was delicious.
Speaker 10 (42:53):
It was delicious, sold me some crumble, but so you're
kind of back yeah, well all the way. But you know,
I figured normally I would have a whole entire one, right.
Speaker 2 (43:01):
This was a few bits. Yeah.
Speaker 8 (43:03):
I mean I feel like an oatmeal cookie is a
healthier version of a cookie. Shit just caught cookie.
Speaker 1 (43:10):
You're probably there's probably in there.
Speaker 2 (43:13):
I'm starting today. You know, all we can do is
work on ourselves, one day at a time, right.
Speaker 1 (43:18):
Kyle un fuck is the first person to start her
New Year's resolution in the middle of November. It had
started getting after it. Okay, So coming up, we want
to hear about your quirky, the tiny strange thing that
your sig other does, and I will kick it off.
There's a reason my wife Stacy is doing something now
that is so normal to her, but I think it's
just the weirdest thing in how it was born. So
(43:40):
I need you to weigh in with your phone calls.
So eight seven seven nine three seven one oh four
seven I will throw her in there the bus a
little bit, and then we'll talk to you about your thing.
Coming up next on John Jay and Rich, I guess
it's John Jay and Rich. When we last left you,
(44:01):
I told you I was going to tell you about
the new quirk that my wife Stacy is into. I
know you guys are going to defend her, but I'm
telling you it's a little weird. So we're going to
the drug store to drive up to pick up some
prescriptions for her. You know the window where they hand
you out the basket with their drugs in it. So
we pay for the drugs and they have the basket.
(44:21):
We pull the basket, but the guy at the window
closes the drawer and walks away, leaving us with the basket,
the little basket that you put your drugs in. So
Stacy's waiting there for a second. She's like, they don't
want the basket back, I guess I'll keep it. And
since then she loves the basket. She calls everyone. She
has like a thing of chapstick in it. She puts
(44:45):
her car keys and then the remote control for these
her car basket, it's like, and she keeps it on
her lap, so I call it the Walgreens lap basket.
And she really doesn't drive without this basket. I'm like,
you need to at least wipe that down with some
light sail, because a bunch of sick people have come
through there, right you. But now, like that's like the
thing that she grabs first in her car before she
(45:05):
starts it. She puts the Wallgreens basket in her lap,
so she has like she.
Speaker 2 (45:09):
Needs to bring it back to the water.
Speaker 1 (45:11):
That's what I thought. I'm like, you know, I could
go get you one of those. I could order you
one on Amazon. It can't be more than like ninety cents.
Speaker 2 (45:18):
They'd probably probably get a gonna get it out.
Speaker 1 (45:21):
But she's like free baskets from wall Greens. It's mine now,
Like the guy walked away, he didn't ask for it back.
He closed the drawer and he left, So it's my basket.
Speaker 8 (45:29):
I get it. I understand the logic.
Speaker 1 (45:32):
But now whenever I ride with her, it's just the
weirdest thing that she's been doing it now for a month,
so it's like part of her life now. But I
think it's bizarre because it gets a little weird. So
we're just yeah, got bad news.
Speaker 8 (45:43):
Were you're rich?
Speaker 1 (45:44):
Yeah, we have mister Walgreen on the spot. He needs
your home address.
Speaker 8 (45:49):
He's looking for a missing basket.
Speaker 1 (45:52):
He should take it out of her next prescription. She
got like three less pills. Now it is until I
get my basket back. So we were wondering what's quirky
about your together? That is just now a part of it.
Let's go to Brittany. Hey, Brittany, you're on with John
Jay and Rich, Welcome to the show. Hello, Hi there.
What's the quirky thing your sick other does?
Speaker 16 (46:11):
Okay, So I'm answering for my husband.
Speaker 7 (46:15):
Oh about you, he said about me?
Speaker 16 (46:18):
Yes, so he said that I have the ability to
memorize dates that.
Speaker 1 (46:27):
Is quirky, like what like beyond like your first date,
but just what's her random one?
Speaker 16 (46:32):
Oh so like September September thirteenth, at six thirty in
the morning, something happened and like I have, I don't know,
it's it's weird.
Speaker 1 (46:47):
I think that's to take.
Speaker 16 (46:52):
And it's not only that. I can also if I
go somewhere for like one time, I know how to
get back there again and again and again.
Speaker 6 (47:04):
I feel like you'd be.
Speaker 2 (47:05):
A really good witness in a murder trial.
Speaker 5 (47:08):
I know.
Speaker 10 (47:09):
Actually was September sixteenth at four pm four to be precise.
Speaker 1 (47:14):
So, Brittany, we had a friend over at the house
yesterday and she was mad at her husband because he
forgot her anniversary. But so did she. She forgot their anniversary.
But the fact that she said she remembered first to
tell them that they forgot. She's mad at him, and
so my wife and I were talking. She's like, you
know our anniversary, don't you. I'm like, I know it's
(47:35):
in March, but I remember.
Speaker 2 (47:37):
The wrong answer.
Speaker 1 (47:38):
But that's I don't remember my kid's birthdays really either.
I know, I know, But I said, now that we're
married and you're so good at that, then you just
have to remind me to have a Brittany who knows
how to get places, which I also don't know how
to get places. She I never know how to get anywhere.
Speaker 2 (48:01):
I never want to dry with Rich, very terrifying.
Speaker 1 (48:04):
We've taken mostly separate cards since like maybe twenty fifteen.
Speaker 12 (48:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (48:08):
Rich is always so kind.
Speaker 10 (48:09):
When we have to go somewhere at like like a
concert or whatever, He's like, do you want a carpools?
Speaker 2 (48:13):
Do we can go with the carpoolane? I was like,
no thing. I want to get there safely.
Speaker 8 (48:18):
You're going to miss your exit four times.
Speaker 1 (48:20):
Yeah, it's kind of life life. Sometimes I pay attention.
Sometimes I'm in du lululand just happens. Well, Brittany, I
think you have a fabulous talent there.
Speaker 4 (48:28):
Thank you.
Speaker 16 (48:29):
I used to quiz my husband all the time when
we got married. I used to ask him, hey, do
you remember my birthday?
Speaker 8 (48:38):
And he is like.
Speaker 16 (48:40):
July sixth. I said, no, it's four days after fourth
of July. So now that's how he remembers my birthday,
four days after fourth of July.
Speaker 1 (48:52):
Well, that's awesome. Did see. All the guys need help.
All the guys need help. Thank you so much, Brittany. Hey, Andrea,
what's quirky about your sig other?
Speaker 7 (49:01):
Hi? Well, it may sound kind of weird, but when
I first met him, he like taps his foot a lot,
like just he said that it gets rid of excess energy.
It was weird at first, and then he'll stop, like
I'll put my hand on his leg and we'll be
(49:22):
in church, and then like the whole I'm wondering, who
else in the aisle is feeling like a tapping? And
then at night he would he turns his ankles to
his feet under the covers, right, and it helps him
go to sleep. And I I asked, I was around
his family once, I go, do you guys.
Speaker 13 (49:38):
Do this weird thing?
Speaker 7 (49:39):
He doesn't go, yeah, it's it's a it's their family
trait or something.
Speaker 9 (49:44):
A few others do it, so it's really weird.
Speaker 1 (49:47):
Sounds like you got yourself a good man.
Speaker 7 (49:50):
I forget and I like in bed, I'll put my
legover on his like stop, I'm trying to go to sleep.
Speaker 1 (49:57):
All right, Andrea, thanks for colin. Let's do real quick.
What's quirky about your sick other? Welcome to John J
and Rich.
Speaker 4 (50:04):
Hi.
Speaker 14 (50:06):
My significolor makes up words. I will give you some examples.
Uh fold rive. I have my pictures folderized akaa, like
in an accordion folder or like his football cards are
like folderize. A person who collects rocks, similar to a geologist, but.
Speaker 1 (50:25):
Less schooling, is a what rockologists a.
Speaker 14 (50:29):
Rockologist because autism runs in his family. They all love rocks. Enjoyful.
It's enjoy but also joyful. So like this dinner with
my whole family isn't joyful?
Speaker 1 (50:44):
Those are all good? Those are all black.
Speaker 14 (50:48):
Swack is swat mixed with smack. I swacked my golf
club and then this one my family now uses all
the time, and it's psyche and typical, and I was like,
what do you mean? There's already a word for that,
And now I can't Sometimes I can't remember the real
words when he says the wrong words, so he goes scientifical.
(51:10):
I don't know, it's like science y, like when you
sing to your plants. It's just scientifical.
Speaker 1 (51:15):
It works for me. All those work for me. I
think he should be in charge of like the New
Dictionary words he always.
Speaker 14 (51:23):
Has, Like the Dictionary was made up by people anyway,
Why can't I just add to it and.
Speaker 2 (51:28):
They are logical like I I love it?
Speaker 1 (51:31):
Yeah, I like them all. You've got a good quirky
guy there, I say.
Speaker 2 (51:35):
I love him.
Speaker 1 (51:37):
I'll try enjoyable or whatever that was. What was the
word joyful? Enjoyful? Yeah, enjoyful him this holiday season?
Speaker 14 (51:46):
Yeah, thank you. Guys, have a wonderful.
Speaker 1 (51:48):
Day about you too. Okay, We're coming right back with John.
Speaker 2 (51:51):
Jay Ridge, John Jay and Rich.
Speaker 12 (51:53):
Christmas Wish is a Valley tradition that touches hearts, lights
and smiles and changes lives for families that could use
a list to this holiday season.
Speaker 2 (52:01):
We got you a trip to Disneyland.
Speaker 4 (52:05):
We'd like to grant the Christmas wish for you.
Speaker 8 (52:07):
I don't know how to thank you.
Speaker 13 (52:08):
I really don't.
Speaker 14 (52:09):
I believe heard these guys that I never saw.
Speaker 17 (52:12):
It would me If you know of a family that
could use some extra help this Christmas go to one
O four seven kids FM dot com. Click on the
Christmas Wish tab and tell us about the family you.
Speaker 5 (52:22):
Want to help.
Speaker 1 (52:23):
It is John Jay and Rich John jahand to take off.
So it is Kyle, it is Peyton, it is me
Rich holding it down. Let's talk about Christmas Wish a
little because we're kicking that off right after Thanksgiving.
Speaker 2 (52:33):
Yeah, right now.
Speaker 10 (52:34):
At John Jaynrich dot com. You can actually nominate a
family that you know maybe struggling this holiday season. It's
kind of heartbreaking when you hear of a family like
wants to give their kids a Christmas and just things
are tight. Man, everything's so expensive and bills keep coming in,
and those are the families we want to help, and
we need to hear from you to know about them.
Speaker 3 (52:53):
Now.
Speaker 10 (52:53):
The thing is is you can't write about your own family,
but you can write about a family that you know.
And like I said, John Jamrig dot com is where
we are at accepting those nominations right now.
Speaker 1 (53:01):
And start granting those as soon as Thanksgiving happens. And
we want to do a lot of them this year.
So the more letters we get and the more people
we can help, the more people we're gonna help. Let's
talk about you, Peyton.
Speaker 8 (53:13):
Let's go well, so yeah, you were saying, how I
am a high school girls basketball coach. That's like my
side gig. I've been doing it. This is our fifth season,
and our team this year we're really good. We're super talented.
So I'm super super excited. We have our first game
on Wednesday. And I realized when I was looking through
my closet trying to figure out what I'm going to wear,
(53:34):
that all of my stuff is in storage because I
just moved back into my grandma's house. So all of
my game day outfits are like underneath like my couches
in my bed and like in a storage unit.
Speaker 1 (53:45):
We don't just wear sweats for the school and the like,
you know, like just do that. You get dressed up
and really street clothes.
Speaker 2 (53:52):
Now, don't you remember when Peyton was going through her
what did you call it?
Speaker 1 (53:55):
Your rebrand?
Speaker 2 (53:56):
Yes, my rebrand, her rebrand.
Speaker 10 (53:58):
She wanted to like coaches dressed up for the game,
and so she was like she was put a big
emphasis on her big game day outfits exactly.
Speaker 1 (54:07):
So like like what's would you normally wear? What would
be well, it's average in how do you want to
upscale it?
Speaker 8 (54:14):
Well, it depends, So like away games, we don't have
to get dressed up. So that's a day where we
would wear sweat and like a crew neck or like,
you know, something like that, a little bit more chill vibes.
But home games, like it's game day, like your business casual,
ready to like look good by good, you coach good?
Speaker 1 (54:30):
Okay, So have you pulled out your cool trench coat?
Speaker 17 (54:33):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (54:33):
I might.
Speaker 8 (54:34):
I honestly might pull out the trench code. But I'm
worried because I don't have an outfit for Wednesday. And
like Kylie you said during my rebrand, one of my
goals this year is to go viral for one of
my game day outfits.
Speaker 1 (54:42):
Oh, you got to step it up there, You've got
to step it up.
Speaker 8 (54:46):
So I've been eyeing there's these Betsy Johnson shoes that
have they're white and they have like they're blinged out
with basketballs all over them.
Speaker 2 (54:54):
How fun, I know, I know.
Speaker 8 (54:56):
So I was like, I might have to cop those.
So you guys, just let's wait. We have a lot
more home games this season, and I'm really excited to
go shopping.
Speaker 15 (55:04):
Now.
Speaker 1 (55:04):
If let's say, a coteur ship hooks you up around
here with the outfit will you give them some love?
Speaker 8 (55:10):
Oh yeah, it would be like sax Y and Z Yeah. Yeah,
and then when I go viral, we'd all get the love.
Speaker 1 (55:15):
Okay, sir you're looking for? Are you looking for something
like a long velvet cape?
Speaker 8 (55:19):
No, that's not really the vibe, But like, I want
to do stuff school. So like last year, I had
a super dope outfit for when we played our rival school.
And my sister actually graduated from the high school that
I coach at and played basketball. So I found one
of her jerseys from like two thousand and eight and
I wore that and everyone was like, what, that's so cool?
Speaker 10 (55:38):
And I was like, I know, you know what you
should do is you should almost like you know that
she went viral last year. Her husband or boyfriend plays
for the forty nine ers, Kristin Jesse Yah yessic, and
she she made that big puffy jacket for Taylor Swift. Yes,
haves Kelsey's jersey. Like that's the vibe we need to
We need something like that.
Speaker 8 (56:00):
Yeah, something cool, something that you've never seen before. I
honestly would like totally learn how to sew just so
I could like one up. What's this whole thing?
Speaker 2 (56:08):
Together.
Speaker 10 (56:08):
I want to I like sewing machine sew like I
can hand sew, but I want to learn how to
use a sewing machine.
Speaker 8 (56:13):
Do let's find a class.
Speaker 2 (56:15):
Yes, Grandma Corea, We're in.
Speaker 8 (56:17):
I would love that.
Speaker 4 (56:19):
Please do that.
Speaker 1 (56:20):
I want to see the inventions we.
Speaker 8 (56:22):
Would be coming up with all of our own little outfits.
Speaker 1 (56:25):
I am if there's any coach it's going to go viral,
it's going to be you, Peyton. That's all there is
to putting it out there.
Speaker 8 (56:30):
I am manifesting this right now.
Speaker 1 (56:32):
What's going on with entertainment news?
Speaker 10 (56:34):
This is kind of an interesting story and it's sort
of developing. So Live Schreiber. He apparently Sunday night had
a massive headache. It was so bad that his people
were like, you need to go to the emergency room.
When he got to the hospital, they actually kept him
there overnight for like a ton of tests. Now his
people are saying it was out of abundance of caution.
An abundance of caution, It was just precautionary and we
(56:56):
just want to make sure make sure he's okay. But
I'm like, they keep it with the hospital overnight. There's
something going on. So I love Live shreb So I
hope everything's gonna be okay with him and they can,
you know, get out.
Speaker 2 (57:06):
He's been cleared to return to.
Speaker 10 (57:08):
Work and everything like that, so supposedly everything's fine now,
but yeah, kind of a dangerous situation here.
Speaker 2 (57:14):
Yeah, also a pretty scary situation we talked about the
other day. Remember that fan that rushed the Wicked premiere.
Speaker 8 (57:19):
Oh it was Singapore.
Speaker 10 (57:20):
Yeah, it was like pulling on to Ariana Grande and
Cynthia Rivo had to like could save her before John
Jay thought it was like all a setup maybe, but
that guy was actually arrested, so there were some major
consequences if it was a setup.
Speaker 2 (57:31):
He definitely is, he's he's getting it right now.
Speaker 10 (57:34):
But they were doing this special screen Actors Guild screening
of the new Wicked movie, which we get to see
a screening of it tonight.
Speaker 8 (57:42):
And I'm so excited.
Speaker 10 (57:43):
I'm so excited to see the movie actually comes out
November twenty first, which is just in a few days.
But Cynthia Revo actually kind of broke her silence and
mentioned without mentioning that scary incident.
Speaker 11 (57:54):
We have come through some stuff in our lives, in
our daby walking, even this last week.
Speaker 2 (58:01):
Let's be honest, We've had to really deal with some stuff,
and this movie has allowed us to.
Speaker 8 (58:07):
Really grow as people, as friends, as sisters, as artists,
as actresses.
Speaker 2 (58:14):
Beyond the dresses and the makeup, really good hallwork. That
is the thing that is special about this piece.
Speaker 8 (58:24):
Hearing that makes me wonder if this little rumor is true.
Did you guys hear that like there might be a
Wicked three coming?
Speaker 12 (58:30):
Oh?
Speaker 8 (58:30):
Yeah, well, Ariana grand Is she like hinted at it
a little bit, and she brought up Share and she
was like, if we was one thing we've ever learned
from Share, like we can always do another farewell tour,
And so she's like joking, but hearing that makes me
think they might be into it.
Speaker 1 (58:44):
Do you know there's the Wicked book has a sequel
called Son of the Witch.
Speaker 10 (58:48):
Okay, I was gonna ask you because I know that
these are based on the books. Yeah right, yeah, so
that would be interesting. I mean she also brought up
Share because they're hosting us anally.
Speaker 13 (58:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (58:56):
So December twentieth, Share is the musical artist Ariana Grande
is hosting it and they're gonna close out the rest
of the year, which I think is like so iconic.
Speaker 2 (59:04):
I love it them together.
Speaker 8 (59:05):
I think it's gonna be so fun to watch.
Speaker 10 (59:07):
I really hope that Ariana Grande does her share impression
with sharing.
Speaker 8 (59:12):
Because she did on SNL right, yeah, yeah, she would die.
Speaker 2 (59:15):
It would be so amazing.
Speaker 10 (59:17):
So Cardi, but you know, she's postpard on right now
and she's hilarious because I guess every time she has
a baby, her mom comes out and stays with her
and helps take care of everything. But she's like already
to the breaking point where she wants her mom to
go home, and she is complaining about her on social media.
Speaker 2 (59:34):
Don't I don't know what she did.
Speaker 12 (59:37):
She threw away all of my cookies, all of my snacks, like, oh,
you're not supposed to.
Speaker 8 (59:42):
Be having these snacks here.
Speaker 12 (59:44):
The kids are gonna be eating all of those snacks,
blah blah blah.
Speaker 8 (59:48):
And it's like, who if I told you them them snacks?
Speaker 13 (59:51):
Is there?
Speaker 8 (59:52):
Is mine? It's so annoying me. You can not be
waking up in the middle of the night and I
just want to know snack. She's mean, that's so real,
And the only difference is that that's just Cardi B.
Like she goes to every single thing everything. One of
us have been annoyed with our mom at one point
or another, and.
Speaker 10 (01:00:13):
We all know that hangar feeling where we just wanted
our snacks and someone took up and your mom's tarrio tarrrio,
I die. Okay, July tenth of next to you, guys,
we are getting the live action Moana starring Dwayne the
Rock Johnson, and now we have the first teaser tailor
that a true teaser trailer, which is also a tongue
twister that's dropped, and it looks it's gonna be so good.
Speaker 8 (01:00:38):
My son, how mild.
Speaker 1 (01:00:53):
They didn't show much of the Rock and the teaser
trailer just his the backside, and they did.
Speaker 2 (01:00:56):
That on purpose, but we know it's he is Mauie.
Speaker 8 (01:01:01):
Know that isn't the same girl that does the animated
voices her.
Speaker 10 (01:01:06):
That's the start, which I thought was a mistake, but
I'm waiting. I'm holding my judgment.
Speaker 2 (01:01:11):
Yeah, it's because it does look it's going to be
really good.
Speaker 1 (01:01:15):
Of the of the live action ones this, like, you know,
I think that the best one that they did was
probably Beauty the Beast.
Speaker 8 (01:01:21):
I just watched that one too.
Speaker 1 (01:01:23):
Watson sot like that kind of feel. We're like, okay, well,
I'm not mad at them for redoing this.
Speaker 8 (01:01:28):
It's like magical. Yeah, like what they do live actions,
you really feel like you're there. I'm so excited for
all these new movies coming out because Ryan Coogler officially
announced that Blank, Black Panther three is going to be
his next film. So no release state is set, but
it's being worked on and everyone's excited because it looks
like Denzel Washington is probably gonna be in the movie. Yeah,
so excited about that. And then also the director of
(01:01:50):
the F one movie, he revealed that his sequels in
early development because Brad Pitt, I guess that was like
a huge box office win for him, like it was
his highest grossing film, So they're such a good movie. Yeah,
they're excited. They're going to fall him because if he
saw the end of F one movie, it's like Brad
Pitt's character like goes to do like off right like
off roading racing kind of like on a beach. I
don't remember exactly what.
Speaker 1 (01:02:10):
It was called.
Speaker 8 (01:02:10):
I wonder if they're gonna come down with route. Yeah,
it was like it was odd, So I wonder if
that's what they'll what they'll pick up with.
Speaker 2 (01:02:15):
It should be pretty good. Tom Cruise obviously a huge star.
Speaker 10 (01:02:19):
I put him in Bred Pitt like in the same category, right,
But he just accepted an honorary oscar at the Governor's
Awards and delivered a heartfelt speech just about how much
making movies really mean to him.
Speaker 3 (01:02:29):
So, cinema, it takes me around the world, and it
helps me to appreciate and respect differences. It shows me
also our shared humanity, how like we are in so
so many ways, and no matter where we come from.
In that theater, we laugh together, we feel together, we
hope together, we dream together. And that is the power
of this art form.
Speaker 1 (01:02:49):
And that's why it matters.
Speaker 4 (01:02:50):
That is why it matters to me.
Speaker 3 (01:02:51):
Making films is not what I do, it is who
I am.
Speaker 10 (01:02:54):
Obviously, he was very passionate. He was pounding the podium
over and over again. I want you to put yourself
in the shoes of the Osborn's. Okay, so they've started
a podcast. It's Kelly, her brother, her mom Sharon, and
they revealed something on their podcast that I just like
(01:03:15):
I cannot believe actually happened, but it did actually happen
to them, and it's so bizarre. They got a delivery
from someone who thinks that they're related.
Speaker 2 (01:03:26):
We had one lady senders her toenails. Oh my god,
you miss this. Oh my god, it was a toenail,
some blood.
Speaker 1 (01:03:36):
Hair because she's absolutely convinced that she is dad's child.
Tongue mom koda. Oh so we wanted to we need
to do a DNA test. Is that why she sent it?
Speaker 8 (01:03:45):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (01:03:45):
Oh, this is so exciting.
Speaker 2 (01:03:48):
Jacket, We've got another sibling.
Speaker 1 (01:03:54):
She sentails. Amazing how we would be like eh, And
he's like, let's do this. Kind of want to hear
that podcast that sounds like it's pretty good. Oh, I know,
I kind of missed them as a TV show.
Speaker 2 (01:04:07):
Really good.
Speaker 1 (01:04:07):
I love them all right, Alex Warren come into the
Valley next summer and we got your tickets right now.
But you have to win a game that we call
the sing Along Song Challenge. What a fun game for
a rainy day eight seven seven nine three seven four
to seven to play? First, Shooboozy, it's John Jay and Rich.
(01:04:30):
It's John Jay and Rich. And if you're just tuning
in on this beautiful, lovely rainy day, Phil, I actually
love the rain. I don't because you're like an Arizona natives.
Speaker 8 (01:04:41):
Yeah, I'm letting I like the sunshine and rainbows.
Speaker 1 (01:04:46):
Well yeah, but we get lots of that when it's rainy,
it's kind of nice. But if you're just tuning in,
John Jay had to take off, I know you disagree.
John Jay had to take off. He had to take
care of some family stuff. But he will be back tomorrow.
So Kyle, Peyton and me are whole down the fort
and we got a game to play. And I think
you're gonna really like this one. It's the sing Along
Song Challenge and Emily is our contestant. Hello, Emily, Welcome
(01:05:09):
to John Jay and Rich. How are you.
Speaker 14 (01:05:12):
I'm good? How are you?
Speaker 5 (01:05:13):
Guys?
Speaker 1 (01:05:13):
Do you love the rain as much as I do?
On a on a like an early morning when it's
kind it feels cozy, it feels like we're all in
the same place.
Speaker 14 (01:05:19):
I get you. I love it, am.
Speaker 7 (01:05:21):
I sweats. I'm just ready to win this game.
Speaker 1 (01:05:23):
Oh it is a sweatpant day. I'll give you that. Okay,
So you're gonna love this game, Emily. It's a sing
along song challenge. It's pretty easy. How it works. I
play part of the song, I stop it and you
sing along. Now, what's great for Peyton and Kyle is
I've paid attention to them for years, and these are
the songs that these two sing all the time when
they're just no music on. They just sing these songs anyway,
(01:05:43):
so they should know the lyrics. And Emily, in your case,
I've just been hanging around your house and paying attention
when you haven't noticed it, so I know what you
sing too. So it's gonna be great with Kyle, so
you can hear how it goes. Kyle, your song is
Taylor Swift's Fate of Ophelia.
Speaker 2 (01:06:01):
I'm a swarm of loyalty.
Speaker 13 (01:06:03):
Tell me.
Speaker 18 (01:06:08):
By all this Thomas set alone in my tower a monomo, yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:06:29):
Powers, I've never even paid attention to that. Right now,
don't disappoint me. Peyton, you're next. Your song's Nellie and
Kelly Rowland Dilemma. I know you's this magical mystical by
Benson Boone Mine. Okay, so well you know that one too.
Speaker 14 (01:06:48):
You know what, My this kind of.
Speaker 11 (01:06:50):
Feel like nothing else will feel right.
Speaker 8 (01:06:54):
You can feel like beam ice cream taken off your
blue jeans, dancing in at the movies, is it fan?
Speaker 1 (01:07:02):
So, mister.
Speaker 8 (01:07:05):
Scream taking off your blue jeans dancing at the movies
because it.
Speaker 1 (01:07:12):
Be the best song out right now, I might give
you an extra points for showmanship. There so good, that
was that was that was so Broadway. Okay, so you
got the way this works. This is gonna be great
for you. Emily. Your song, Sabrina Carpenter tastes.
Speaker 15 (01:07:26):
Gone, but you're still.
Speaker 2 (01:07:29):
Nest bon grea separation.
Speaker 16 (01:07:36):
I heard you're back together.
Speaker 8 (01:07:38):
That's you just have to tasse me.
Speaker 7 (01:07:40):
When he's kissing you say yes, Tia, do it.
Speaker 10 (01:07:48):
Emily kiss you.
Speaker 1 (01:07:50):
Guys, thought you're so good? And then along comes Emily
to rock the house. Okay, quick round too, Kyle? Are
you ready?
Speaker 12 (01:07:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:07:57):
Your song? We don't talk about Bruno the flood scare.
Speaker 2 (01:08:04):
Frame rat so long his back and you see it's
it's creamy.
Speaker 1 (01:08:12):
Yes, I'll give you that one.
Speaker 8 (01:08:18):
All to black.
Speaker 1 (01:08:20):
You didn't lookup the LA sars, did you? Cause yours still?
Kelly Rolandy dilemma. I did not Peyton your.
Speaker 5 (01:08:25):
Move, Tim.
Speaker 8 (01:08:29):
Said, I don't know what you mean.
Speaker 5 (01:08:31):
Tim.
Speaker 8 (01:08:32):
Now what I did think about is you.
Speaker 1 (01:08:45):
Okay, Well, everybody is a winner, but just to secure
your tickets here and it is raining. I have picked
for you, Emily Rihanna, Umbrellaona, when.
Speaker 14 (01:09:08):
The sunshine may sound together.
Speaker 9 (01:09:10):
Tell you I'll be here forever, that I'll.
Speaker 7 (01:09:13):
Always be your friend.
Speaker 14 (01:09:15):
Took an oath, m teket.
Speaker 9 (01:09:16):
Out to the end.
Speaker 1 (01:09:18):
I really hope Eric works standing in a cubicle around
hundreds of people right now because I was good. Well,
I mean, come on, you got your tickets to Alex Warren. Congradulation,
Thanks guy.
Speaker 11 (01:09:36):
I want to say you rocked it on Saturday night,
Rich with your band.
Speaker 1 (01:09:42):
You were there for love Puff Family since well, tank you.
That was kind of scared. There's so many people out there.
I was almost afraid to look out there because if
you really think about it and you're like, oh god,
got I got here. But it was fun for coming
and enjoy Alex Warren. He will be much better than
my band. I'm sure you will enjoy it all and
hang on the line from the car to the office.
Speaker 16 (01:10:05):
Wake out with them every morning, John.
Speaker 1 (01:10:07):
Jay, Rich, Kyle, what do we need to know today?
Speaker 10 (01:10:10):
So the internet had a total panic attack this morning
because of cloud Fair. The company cloud Fair actually keeps
a huge chunk of the Internet safe and speedy, it
went down hard. Cloud Fair's job is to act like
Superhero shield, stopping cyber attacks and making pages load instantly
from a location.
Speaker 2 (01:10:26):
Close to you.
Speaker 10 (01:10:27):
So the outage was a massive embarrassing failure. So the
fact that giants like chatchypt and x completely unavailable had
people going, Oh, I don't know how to respond to
that working mail?
Speaker 8 (01:10:38):
No, what do I write?
Speaker 2 (01:10:40):
Anyways, It's back up and running now, so if you
if you need help, check can help you out it.
What'st see.
Speaker 1 (01:10:44):
It's just like here when the phone stopped working. When
it rains, it rained a little bit, and cloud Fair
just took a dive.
Speaker 10 (01:10:51):
It's pretty crazy to just see how much we rely
on this invisible infrastructure that I didn't know.
Speaker 8 (01:10:57):
Was there, right, And I'm like on chat chypt this morning,
I'm like, what is this thing? What is this message
that it's telling me?
Speaker 10 (01:11:04):
I thought it was like someone was trying to hack
into chat youpe and get all info, but that's not it.
Speaker 2 (01:11:08):
It was like cloud Fair and then cloud Fair is
much bigger. Oh my goodness.
Speaker 8 (01:11:11):
I was like using all my other AI tools to
figure out what this message was. For my actual AI,
I'm like, this is a problem. Same.
Speaker 10 (01:11:19):
Okay, so we know dictionary dot Com named six seven
their word of the year, and now Cambridge Dictionary has
chimed in with their official word of the year and
they picked parasocial, which perfectly describes feeling like your BFFs
with a celebrity you don't even know because of the Internet.
Speaker 1 (01:11:36):
Did it makes sense because I feel like Cambridge is
the more foofy dictionary totally, so they're not going to
give it up for six seven.
Speaker 10 (01:11:42):
Yeah, searches for parasocial totally exploded thanks to tailor shift
to Travis Kelcey phenomenon, everyone was so excited when they
got engaged, like, were there, bfs, We're excited that our
best friends are getting married? But yeah, parasocial is the
Cambridge dictionary.
Speaker 2 (01:11:58):
That was almost bad.
Speaker 10 (01:11:59):
Scientists have officially proven that your furry friend is a
total love boost for your relationship. So I guess when
couples hang out with your pet, you experience a feel
good afterglow, meaning you stay happier, smile more, and laugh
even after the dog leaves the room. So basically, your
dog or cat is a little, tiny, four legged relationship
therapist secretly making your love life better.
Speaker 2 (01:12:20):
So keep those pets around.
Speaker 1 (01:12:21):
Do you feel like that's true for your turtle, Peyton,
I guess.
Speaker 15 (01:12:28):
No.
Speaker 8 (01:12:28):
I mean he doesn't really interact with him.
Speaker 2 (01:12:30):
They said for furry the furry friends.
Speaker 13 (01:12:34):
Furry.
Speaker 2 (01:12:35):
I don't know it C really know if it applies.
Speaker 10 (01:12:36):
But maybe you know, maybe you've got a lizard or
something and you're really emotionally connected. I think it's like
the shared emotional connection. And that's three things you need
to know, Peyton.
Speaker 1 (01:12:44):
Let's talk about your new dance thing that you want.
Speaker 8 (01:12:48):
To do, this idea that I have. Yeah, okay, So
me and my friends, like, don't get me wrong, we
love a good happy hour. We love a good time
at the house to just chill. But right now we're
really like big on experiences. So for my birthday, I
rented out like a karaoke room for two or three hours.
So it's just like saying and had so much fun.
So one of the ideas that I came up with,
I think this would be so fun. So the majority
(01:13:10):
of my friend group we all played basketball together. We
don't really have like a lot of rhythm, so like
we're those girls in the club that are just like
bopping and weaving, like we're not really dancing. And I
was like, how fun would it be if we found
like a dance instructor that would do like a one
off session for like ten of us and just teach
us how to pop, lock and drop it.
Speaker 1 (01:13:33):
That's pretty impressive, And like.
Speaker 8 (01:13:36):
It would actually be even cooler if you, like you
let us have like our little high noon drink so
we could like get some liquid courage. But like how fun,
and like you call us the whole choreography and we
all dance and then we can do it like at
a Partyer's on here.
Speaker 1 (01:13:49):
Your individual signature style move that nobody can copy. Like
if you learn that, then your friend's got to do
a different move that the way you got your own
move at the club.
Speaker 8 (01:13:57):
But like, imagine a whole choreographer I dance. Yeah, I
think that's a bunch of girls who don't know how
to dance. I think it would be so fun. So
if you're a dance teacher or an instructor, please call me.
I need this glass is such a good idea of.
Speaker 10 (01:14:10):
You know your toy, right, Like experiences is what you remember,
it's experienced, Like spending money on experiences is so much
more worth it than just like things.
Speaker 8 (01:14:18):
I think so too.
Speaker 1 (01:14:19):
The dance classes are fun. Stacy and I took him
before the wedding because we wanted to. We were like,
we go to a lot of weddings and instead of
just sitting there, it'd be great to get up and
do the thing, do like the you know, like the
not the pomp block and drop it but like a tanko.
Speaker 10 (01:14:33):
Scott and I have like this move that we like
to do at weddings. I like to try to attempt
to do the dirty dancing move, you know where he
like picts her up. Yes, doesn't ever work out for us,
but we always try, and you.
Speaker 8 (01:14:43):
Better try to high wedding. I'm just hoping that, like,
if we do this dance that like randomly at my
wedding in a year, we're just gonna be like hanging
out and be like djee.
Speaker 1 (01:14:53):
You'll be pop blocking, Scott and Kyle will be dirty dancing.
I don't be doing box step one two back, one
two back.
Speaker 2 (01:15:03):
You'll wait for your wedding. It's gonna be so fun.
Speaker 5 (01:15:05):
I know.
Speaker 8 (01:15:05):
I'm excited.
