Good morning, Good morning.
Speaker 3 (00:05):
I was laughing.
Speaker 4 (00:06):
You guys were talking about Peyton's friend that stops dating that.
Speaker 3 (00:11):
Guy because he scratched his head with.
Speaker 2 (00:13):
A knife, and.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
It reminded me my dad.
Speaker 4 (00:19):
He had an alchemina when we were growing up, and
he would take the key out of the ignition while
we're driving, stick it in his ear, like clean his ear,
and then put it back in the ignition. And it
was so gross.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
And then a.
Speaker 5 (00:35):
Few years ago, my brother had keys.
Speaker 4 (00:38):
In his hand and he stuck the key in his ear,
and I was like, oh my god, how are you marry?
Speaker 3 (00:47):
He's like the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
Totally got that from his dad.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
I like the engineering marvel of your dad not even
having the engine get killed by pulling the key out
of the ignition.
Speaker 4 (00:56):
I know, so gross.
Speaker 6 (00:58):
I was saying how my dad would take a pen
and rub his ear, clean his ear out with a pen.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
And what.
Speaker 6 (01:04):
Happen is occasionally my sister me or my mom will
put that pin in our mouth. Yeah, and you know how,
you guys, I'm sure you've all tasted earwax.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
Never I never put the keys in my mouth.
Speaker 6 (01:18):
That's good, but tends go in your mouth, right yeah, right,
so my mom is screaming at my dad in Spanish and.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
It was terrible.
Speaker 6 (01:26):
Well, Destiny, thanks for thanks for making a smile and gross.
Speaker 2 (01:30):

Good morning from MESA. Love your show, David, Thank you, David.
Thanks David.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
Stephanie, Stephanie, Hi, good morning, good morning.
Speaker 4 (03:07):
How are you?
Speaker 1 (03:07):
Did you text it us right?
Speaker 4 (03:09):
I did about so. Yes, I had a Kyle sighting
and it was a legitimate Kyle sighting. So my son
played baseball a couple of years ago for a league
out in Chandler, and we recognized her on the other
side of the bench and her son and her whole family,
(03:33):
so I know for sure it was her. My son
went up to her and said, I love the John,
Jay and Rich show because he's a huge fan, and
high fived her. And then Ethan was having some trouble
with getting out and running the bases, so Kyle was
actually walking around with him, and during that time my
(03:57):
son got Easton out twice and he was telling Kyle,
why is he still running the bases? I already got
him out.
Speaker 6 (04:05):
He came up that kid, that's a sign of a winner.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
Instead of slapping it.
Speaker 7 (04:15):
Well, it's funny, thanks for that, Stephanie. That definitely was
realciting for sure. It's like you probably saw Easton break
down a couple of times in that game, trying. It's
been a whole thing. And you know what's funny is
that that was a couple of years ago, So I
think Easton was probably like four four years old at
that point, and nothing's changed, Like he's still in sports
(04:37):
and I'm still like trying to figure out how to parent.
Like the kid who cries when anything goes wrong. Like
he's currently playing flag football right now, and his team
didn't get an interception that they probably could have got
but not like should.
Speaker 6 (04:51):
Have like it could have got it.
Speaker 7 (04:53):
He starts crying. He he he loses a game. He
cries and it's not it's like everything that goes wrong.
It really it hits him emotionally so hard. And for Scott,
my husband, he gets really frustrated with it and he
says it's embarrassing, and like I'm like I feel like
this could possibly be Easton's greatest strength, but it's up
(05:15):
to us as the parents to be able to mold
that and like shape it into what drives him in.
Speaker 3 (05:21):
Kyle, you have it so right because I'm not the
same exact way. That just shows how passionate he is
about what he's doing. He wants to win. He always
wants to be great. He's like a competitive He's competitive
and like sometimes, like my nephew King, he plays soccer
and he gets competitive and then he wants to chuck
another kid to the ground. Okay, not an appropriate thing
to do, Suki, But like he's so competitive and I
(05:44):
wish sometimes he would just go and cry instead of
get another red card in soccer. But feel his passion
because that's exactly it.
Speaker 7 (05:51):
Okay, but I'm trying, And you want to know what's
so weird about this. I'm so glad like this conversation happens, Stephanie,
because I like, I need advice, and because I've been
I've been talking to about it with a couple of friends.
My algorithm started like pulling up reels that are like
coaching kids who literally I got a reel that said
how to deal with your kid who cries when you
get second place?
Speaker 5 (06:10):
Wow?
Speaker 4 (06:13):
And every kid does all I know.
Speaker 7 (06:16):
And I need, like, I need all the advice that
I can because I really like, I don't want to
crush his spirit. I don't want to crush that competitive
drive that he's got somewhere in him. But I need
to be able to figure out how to help him
use it for good. It's just like breaking down and crying.
Speaker 1 (06:28):
You and I were talking, Kyle.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
You and I were talking about this, just like after
the show the other day, right, and I keep on saying,
like you got him in the great sports where the
peer pressure kind of takes care of that a little bit.
The coaching kind of takes care of that a little
bit because they'll figure out you win some, you lose some,
but you go out, you go for it. Some of
that kind of takes care of itself.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
Yeah, But I did see.
Speaker 7 (06:47):
I did see like on that reel that I got,
there was like some good advice that I think, like, like,
we've got games coming up, and so I feel like
I'm going to test it out. But the one piece
of advice that really stood out was like help them
reframe what losing is losing is not losing. Losing is learning.
Speaker 6 (07:03):
So losing is.
Speaker 7 (07:04):
An opportunity to go, where can we what can we
do differently next time? What went.
Speaker 5 (07:10):
Like?
Speaker 1 (07:11):
Wearing? Hokus seth? How is your son right now? Is
he still playing?
Speaker 6 (07:18):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (07:18):
Yeah, well he's not playing baseball anymore. And I'm funny
you're talking about losing because they actually had a flag
football championship game last night. Well actually it was the time. Yeah,
well they lost, but they had won two championships in
a row, but they moved up to like a higher
like age group. All the boys have been playing together
(07:40):
for several seasons, so you know, I mean it was
really sad for the kids. They were all bummed out.
But now we play like once a quarter in school,
so you know, we're starting up again here in like
three or four weeks. So it's just you know, okay,
you know we're looking forward to next time and you know,
(08:02):
learn from the mistakes we made during the game.
Speaker 6 (08:06):
Well just know this, Stephanie Easton's looking for the revenge
game and it's going down.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
What's your kid? What's your kid's name, Stephanie, what's his name?
Speaker 4 (08:14):
Probably his name is Camden, And I seriously think that
we won that game like twenty two to nothing.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
Okay, hey, just remember that because it's going down. Camden's
going down. It was a terrible season for us.
Speaker 7 (08:29):
Our coach just stopped showing up.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
He was probably crying somewhere.
Speaker 1 (08:33):
Then your husband take over at all. I keep telling him, like,
you should go, you should go.
Speaker 7 (08:39):
She's like absolutely not.
Speaker 6 (08:41):
Well, Stephanie, just remember let us know where the rematches.
We're all gonna go. We have BIG's head, all right, Stephanie,
thanks so much. And that was all about a Kyle Siding.
I'll say somebody said earlier we need to make a
Kyle Siding Instagram page. Kyle all right, thank you so much, Stephanie,
thank you. But hey, we need a contestant. We're gonna
(09:05):
play a game. We're gonna pla celebrity said that, and
we need a contestant for tickets to see Tate mccrayer
or Wu Tang. You can pick Colls right now at
eight seven seven nine three seven one oh four seven
while we wait for a contestant. A couple of text messages,
you guys, you text jj R and whatever you want
to say to nine six eighty ninety three. Hey, John
(09:26):
Jay whatever happened to that old lady? Hey, you like
to take pictures? What you know the story?
Speaker 1 (09:34):
Pain?
Speaker 3 (09:34):
No, I mean I've heard you guys say that in
that tone, but I don't think I know the story.
Speaker 6 (09:40):
My wife and my son Dutch and I were taking
a stray rottweiler we found to the vet to get
checked out.
Speaker 1 (09:48):
I was filming it for love pop.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
Oh my gosh, you won.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
That went vilbral on Daily Mail, went everywhere.
Speaker 6 (09:52):
Yeah, yes, filming with my kid or filming the dog.
I caught a car accident, that's just woman crashed into
a pole. And then she pulled up into the parking
lot where I was at and finally got out of
the car and yelled at me like if I like
to take pictures?
Speaker 1 (10:06):
And I was.
Speaker 6 (10:07):
Filming the dog and my son and and then she
grabbed her boob and flipped me off.
Speaker 3 (10:12):
I remember that, I do. I do. I don't remember
saying do.
Speaker 2 (10:15):
You like to take pictures?
Speaker 1 (10:20):
I would like to take pictures? And I was like, yes, yes,
yes I do. I are you okay? Are you okay?
She did it?
Speaker 6 (10:27):
So that's on Facebook, that's everywhere. Yes, Noah Lashi with
the haircut?
Speaker 1 (10:32):
Was that my mom?
Speaker 6 (10:32):
That crashed into Oh, your.
Speaker 7 (10:35):
Mom would be like this, do you like to take
Speaker 2 (10:40):
It's very different, though very different
