Speaker 1 (00:00):
We want you to be part of the show. Call
us eight seven, seven, nine three seven, one oh four
seven Get on the air with John Jay and Rich
John Jay and Rich, Hey, Ricky, thanks for holding man.
What's up?

Speaker 2 (00:12):
I got good morning morning. So my wife and I
had to evacuate because of the fires. Oh and everything
happened like super fast. So I was like, okay, you know,
grab what you can and go type thing. Obviously it's
a flow, it's a fast moving situation and everyone's sort
of panicking type thing. So I grabbed my laptop, I

(00:33):
grab my chargers, you know, our passports, you know, stuff
like that that seems logical and any sort of emergency
like this is. I look over at my wife and
she's standing there with this folder in her hands. Now
I didn't I didn't really recognize it at first, so
I asked her and she just flat out told me
it was the pre Nub And I didn't even know

(00:55):
what to say. I'm like, what, that's what you grabbed
out of everything that we need to grab up here
in the next few minutes, you know.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
What I mean?

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Like, we have family photos, we have sentimental stuff, even
her favorite coat or something. No, she grabs the pre nup.
So the whole drive out of there, I just coun't
stop thinking about it, honestly. I mean, it's yeah, I
get it, it's important. It's a legal thing, and in
a legal sense or whatever, I totally understand, but I

(01:23):
don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
It just felt so.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Cold, and how she's just standing there with the prenup.
You know, what does I don't know, what does this
say about us? You know, how does she even see
things going on?

Speaker 1 (01:33):
So let me let me first of all, are you
guys okay? Did your house make it?

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Yeah? We're fine, house made it fine. Yes, okay, yes,
the house is fine.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (01:43):
Any Way, that she was listening to music when she
was packing stuff, maybe she was listening to Kanye and
she's like, I don't know, toget, we want prenup, we
want prenup, let me get Or maybe she.

Speaker 5 (01:58):
Just figured you were getting all the other documents. Sounds
like you got all the documents, and she like, maybe
some one you left the prenup and I wonder what
that's about.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
I'll grab it.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
And remember how my sister said we grabbed her passports
or grabbed all our paperwork. So maybe that's just what
the PaperWorks, and you happen to see her at the
point where she was like opening the folder, going, oh,
the prenup and.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
What about evacuation stress? Like I haven't been evacuated anywhere,
but I bet I would grab stuff that makes no
sense because you're in a hurry and your your mind's racing,
and she's probably like, oh, this is important. So I
think I got to give her a little bit of
grace for fire stress, the evacuation stress. She's keeping the
prenup to protect herself or whatever.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
I don't know the lawyers. The lawyers have a copy of.

Speaker 5 (02:36):
That year think oh, like, I know, I know what
you're probably thinking, Ricky. She's like, that's the first thing
she thought about. So has she been already plotting her
And she's maybe the lawyers are like, whatever you do,
just keep the prenup safe and you'll be fine.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
What if we don't even know if he's in LA,
what'll you talked about a different fire somewhere else? And
she lit the firebouse. No, it's no good. She's like,
Nebraska somewhere. You'll have it anyway, all right, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
It's just a little I don't know. I'm not I'm
not trying to make a big deal out of this.
You know, everything's fine, But at the same time, you know,
this is kind of stuck in my head. You know,
why was that the thing that she was rushing out
the door with. You know, I don't even know how
to feel about it. You know, on one hand, sure
it's practical, but you're right, the lawyers do have copies
of it. But it's also unsettling. So I don't know,

(03:26):
maybe overthinking this, look.

Speaker 5 (03:28):
At you're looking at it all wrong. Don't focus on that.
Focus on the fact that you guys got out and
you were safe and your your house at this point
is still intact. You know, you got to look at
the bright side because all the thing's happening over there
right now, there's so much devastation.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
You're in a good spot, believe it or that's truth.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Yeah, and that's a good point. No, I appreciate it.
You're right.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
I would burn the prenup.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Then you just take it from her this house.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
How long you guys been married, eleven years, doesn't at
some point a prenup doesn't matter anymore, No, like I
would think a long time.

Speaker 5 (04:03):
Yeah, I think that's why people get the prenup.

Speaker 4 (04:04):
But if you get if you get married and then
in eleven years you grow, you become successful to get whatever.

Speaker 5 (04:10):
I think that's why people get pre dumps.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
So that they split everything.

Speaker 5 (04:15):
It's like your prenup could say, whatever businesses I start
during the course of our relationship are going to remain
mine afterwards or whatever.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
I mean, they're all I was dumb. I didn't get one.
I'm screwed.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
I remember asking my wife Stacy about one. Didn't She
laughed hysterically.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
What do you have? Who half of an electric car?

Speaker 4 (04:37):
Which, by the way, if you see like the fires
in La, how the electric cars are like the big.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
Big problem floating and they're not starting. They can't drive
anyway to go Kyle, White Fox because the white Fox
got a white card car. You got everyone the White
Fox is here.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
Some of them just want to use the carpool away
and that's all.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Carpool ain't just for White Fox.

Speaker 5 (04:58):
Over not even I'm wearing that outfit anymore.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
I wrote it down on my Things to talk about today.
Likes Fox. Hi, Ricky, thanks for calling in. Glad you're safe, brother.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
I appreciate you guys, thanks so much.

Speaker 4 (05:08):
We have social media posts of how you could help
anybody that's got a problem that happened in the fire,
like my sister.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
You don't have to help her, but I mean other people.
You know.

Speaker 4 (05:15):
I'm putting together fun just for my sister. If you
guys could donate, No, I'm just kidding. She's fine. Christmas
