walk into a room of people at a party, like,
I want to find the one person I know, and
I usually stick to them.

I'm fine in situations like this, But if I walk
into a room full of people and I don't really
know anyone at a party, I want to find one
person I know and just talk to them.

Yeah. Like I don't really work the room.

I do work the room, but I find it like
it's work, Like it's not natural for me.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
I don't. It's interesting because I do see you work
the room sometimes, So that doesn't work. That's working.

I'm working the room deliberately, try and do it. Yeah,
because I am so good at it.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Well, thank you, But but you see it because it's
he's treating it like a job. Yeah, that is very interesting.
It's just like giving a toast.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
I mean, I'm I can talk here on the fly,
but like giving a toast, I want to make sure
it's good and meaningful and right, and so I get
nervous about that.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
But anyway. I bring this up because of all this.

So if you have the same problem at walking to
room at a party, they say, keep one of your
hands free at all times. It's easier to talk and
meet with people if you're holding things, like if you're
holding food and a drink, don't have food in one
hand drink in the other. They say that people avoid
talking to fellow partygoers whose hands are full and they're like,
you got too much on, You got too much going on.

You can't even like shake or fist bump hello. It
sends a message that you don't care about anyone there
and want to meet anyone.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Oh, because you're like closed off. There's nothing open, there's
nothing open. It's interesting, It's true.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Like if you think about if you're holding a pig
and a blanket and a cocktail, it's hard to approach you.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
A pig in a blanket is so good. Wow.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
We used to have them in the freezer when I
was a kid growing up for ball games. Pop him
into the toaster, oven and blanket your pig. Today's quote
just a little fun fact there. Today's quote. If it
won't matter in five years, don't I don't spend more
than five minutes worrying about it, If it won't matter
