Bella Thorne has jumped on the trend of proposing to your fiancé following your own engagement and her fans have a lot of thoughts! Tanya Rad, for one, is here for it.

Tanya shared on-air that the actress took to social media to share she got down on one knee: "3 years ago we met. One year later he proposed. Now one year later, so did I."

Bella and Mark Emms, a British film producer, originally got engaged back in 2023 after just 9 months of dating after they met at Cara Delevingne’s birthday party.

The comments were pretty split with some fans thinking the proposal was “sweet” and praising Bella for flipping tradition while others were confused about why she proposed when the couple are already engaged and begged to "not normalize" this.

What do you think? Does the man also need a proposal? Listen back for more and join the convo

Trending report Tanya in her seat for it tell us all.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
So Bella Thorne posted to her social media something that
really caught her fans off guard. She wrote in the caption,
three years ago we met. One year later he proposed.
Now one year later, so did I.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
So.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Bella and her fiance Mark Ems, a British film producer,
originally got engaged back in twenty twenty three after just
nine months of dating, after they met at Kara Deleavine's
birthday party, but the comments on the Instagram were pretty split,
with some fancying in the proposal was sweet and praised
Bella for flipping tradition, where others were confused about why

(00:38):
she proposed when the couple was already engaged, and some
people were really fiery about it. They were like, really
upset that she proposed also when she's already engaged. But
I love this. I feel like, you know, I was
telling you that my best friend Becca got engaged her
fiance Haley proposed to her, and now Becca wants to
propose to Haylo, And I'm like, I wish this was

(01:02):
just the norm that both sides proposed to each other.
And I love that. Bella is doing it because I
just I want it to be more normalized.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Is it becoming more of the norm. I mean, I
wouldn't saying it.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
I've seen more people doing it, but I wouldn't say
it's the norm.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
But I mean, like I think, if you want to
do stuff like that, it's it's fine, but it doesn't
become like the norm standard. Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
I hope it becomes a standard.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
