Speaker 1 (00:00):
From Hollywood to you.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Thank you for listening to us Air on air with
a Ryan Seacrest one A two point seven Kiss FM.
A lot of people are buzzing about this place in
Santa Monica. Where is it puppy yoga or yoga with
your puppy? It's both, It's both, okay, So Tanya, to
answer your question, I have been moaning when I turn
(00:24):
in bed at night because I'm achy and sore and
hurting and stiff and not as elongated as I want
to be and as flexible as I want to be.
So recently my outlets have been plates and yoga mixed
in with my other stuff that is higher tempo. Like
I'm not a slow paced exercise person. I like big tempo.
I like fast tempo. I like you know, that kind
of a rhythm. But I've been trying to do other
(00:47):
things to stretch myself out, and yoga, which I am
embarrassingly bad at, has been something I've been doing a
little bit more of lately. But I've never thought about
bringing Georgia.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
With me to do it.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
Oh, I think she would. I mean, the whole downward
dog came from.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
I mean, I guess you're right. She does a masterful
downward dog.
Speaker 3 (01:06):
So what's the story.
Speaker 4 (01:07):
So this is the cutest thing I think to hit
the West Side in a while. It's called Puppy Sphere
and it's opening up a new studio in Santa Monica.
And yes, it's yoga with puppies. They already have a
location in West Hollywood, so maybe you've tried this already.
But it's a forty five minute yoga class surrounded by
a bunch of playful, adoptable puppies that roam.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
Around in the studio.
Speaker 4 (01:29):
They jump on you, they cuddle with you while you're
doing your poses, while you're doing your yoga, and then
afterwards you get snacks and you can cuddle with the
dog's more and there's a little gift, and I just
think the whole package is curated in such a great way.
And also the fact that you can adopt these puppies
afterwards is a great combo.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
It's a great collab.
Speaker 3 (01:49):
We get snacks, they get snacks.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
Uh it says you get snacks.
Speaker 4 (01:54):
So you get a snack, cuddles.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
But you can't walk in and out of something like
that without feeling better, right, I mean that that would
make you feel better.
Speaker 4 (02:05):
They would make me want to adopt the dog every
time I went and took a yoga class, though, But
they've done this and a bunch of other cities. It's
two women, Francesca and Leah, who launched this back in
twenty twenty one, and they did it to help just destress.
They said that, you know, obviously when you are around
animals in general, but especially dogs, your stress levels come down.
And then obviously yoga is a very distressing type of exercise.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
So you combine those two and it's a win win.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
It's a very good idea for distressing.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
It's Ryan Seacrest Sysney Antanya and so we did this
a while back where we put in our names to
chat gpt because this was a trend I guess that
people were doing and chat GPT.
Speaker 3 (02:46):
We rely on a lot. Chat gpt roasted us.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
It made fun kind of fun of us, which is
really funny because a lot of it was right based
on our star sign, right right.
Speaker 3 (02:54):
So you used AI to roast us.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
And now there's a trend you saw this Sysney where
people roasting cities.
Speaker 4 (03:00):
Yeah, you plug in some of your favorite SoCal cities
and ask for a roast, and I gotta tell you
some of these are pretty accurate.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
So we plugged in.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
We just rat random picked some of the cities and
we plugged in Whittier. Here's what the chat GPT said
about Wittier.
Speaker 5 (03:15):
Where every street either has five taco spots or five potholes,
sometimes both. It's the only city where your neighbor is
a real estate agent, a DJ, and your ex all
at once.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
Wait, can comedians like go into chat GPT and get
their material?
Speaker 6 (03:30):
I'm sure I don't know.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
At that point, that.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
Would be like a very funny local comedian monologue.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
Yeah, oh wow. Here's the Long Beach.
Speaker 5 (03:41):
Long Beach is where everyone acts like they live at
the beach, but somehow no one ever goes it's half
la half oc and fully convinced Snoop still lives.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
There Snoop dogs for life.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
Okay, here's Laplente, La Plante. Here's your GPT.
Speaker 5 (03:59):
Rowe where the WiFi is spotty but the backyard chickens
have full bars. It's the only place where a mariachi,
a leaf blower, and an ice cream truck form a
daily parade at seven am.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
I mean, how how does it Rightmona.
Speaker 5 (04:18):
Where the La County fair is lit and everything else
is just under construction. It's the only place where you
can get a college degree and a court date on
the same street. Gonga Rancho Cucamonga sounds like a made
up town from a sitcom, and honestly, it kind of is.
(04:38):
It's the only place where the houses are new, the
Starbucks are plenty, and nobody can spell the name without autocorrect.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
I love that all right, one more chat GPT. There's
a trend where they roast your city. Here's Palmdale.
Speaker 5 (04:51):
Palmdale where the air is dry, the winds are rude,
and your neighbor's dirt bike is louder than your thoughts.
It's not the middle of nowhere, but you can see
it from there.
Speaker 6 (05:02):
Wait, do van eyes?
Speaker 1 (05:03):
Do van eyes?
Speaker 3 (05:04):
We have van eyes? Okay, here's Vannice.
Speaker 5 (05:06):
We have van eyes fan eyes where it's always ninety
five degrees, even at midnight. It's the kind of place
where you can get your car fixed, your tax is done,
and a questionable tattoo, all on the same block.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
It is really especially because La we have so many
different pockets of neighborhoods.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
In right, that's entertaining.
Speaker 6 (05:27):
I love it so much.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
All right, so let's see, let's Tony in. We have
a family meeting, a family meeting. What's happening with you, Michael.
There's a dispute at home.
Speaker 6 (05:36):
Were you know?
Speaker 4 (05:38):
Yes, we have our we have our arguments sort of
right now.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
There's a debate.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
What is it? I love these debates.
Speaker 4 (05:45):
We rented one of those bins that you can put
in your driveway to get rid of junk, and it's
been on.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
Our driveway for all week. You're supposed to pick it
up on Wednesday.
Speaker 6 (05:55):
It's so cute. We have one right now too.
Speaker 3 (05:57):
Is it a pot or a dump sny?
Speaker 1 (05:59):
It's a dumpster.
Speaker 4 (06:00):
So so we have been, you know, because we moved
in a couple of months ago, and we've been sitting
on stuff that we thought maybe we would use it.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
May pick the dumpster on a track and yeah, I've
always loved watching.
Speaker 4 (06:11):
Yeah, it's pretty cool, and so we've been I've been
like just purging right, getting rid of this, getting rid
of that, blah blah blah. And now I was like,
what's behind this panel thing in the garage? It was
like covered by something else and I pull it and
it's four neatly stacked boxes like home depot boxes like
moving boxes and they I'm like, what are what's in these?
Speaker 1 (06:30):
And he's like, oh, those are those are good?
Speaker 4 (06:32):
Like it's almost like he checked them and like covered
them already.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
There were beer.
Speaker 4 (06:36):
Mugs like old like bar like beer mugs. I don't
know they were just they don't fit inside the house.
And yes, they've been collected throughout the years from his
travels to I don't bore.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
You before me for that's what this is about. These
are beer mugs pre sisity.
Speaker 4 (06:55):
And then there's some of them like that were given
to us as well, Like I remember like there were
some that were gift it to us, say like San
Diego chargers and they have like our name engraved in them.
It's like for me, I know what's in those boxes.
Speaker 1 (07:07):
Like when he said it, I was like, oh, I
know it's in there. I was like big. I'm like,
let's just throw those four boxes away. We don't need them.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
So you want to edit. He wants to keep everything exactly,
and he's.
Speaker 4 (07:17):
Like, well, what if one day, you know, we remodel
this garage until like you know, a backyard hang and
then and it has a nice cool bar.
Speaker 3 (07:24):
And then to exactly.
Speaker 4 (07:26):
I'm just like he wants to tops for the lake
house that we're never going to have a lake house.
Speaker 3 (07:34):
I don't know what to do with you on this.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
I think I too, have like kept stuff that I
always think I'm gonna use. I never ever use it.
Speaker 7 (07:42):
Never.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
I do have like my first radio station jacket in
my closet, jacket in my closet, that stuff. Sometimes I think, Okay,
I I'm never gonna wear it.
Speaker 7 (07:51):
But also you can have so much of that stuff
and it's like you really, yeah, you have to edit
that stuff too.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
My word for the year has been simplicity. Like simplicity here,
I think that you should push because in the long run,
you're right.
Speaker 4 (08:04):
I okay, I'm right with this type of stuff because
this type of stuff is replaceable. That KISSFM jacket, to me,
is not replaceable.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
I'm not going to throw it out, okay, and star
Natty four jackets exactly.
Speaker 4 (08:15):
And I've gone through old bins, especially with this move,
and the kids have gone through some of our old stuff,
and to them it's treasure. They find it so fascinating
finding some of our things. So I for that enjoyment,
I want to keep some of that memorabilia.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
That's fine, Tanya, this is what you have to look
forward to, these kinds of things in your marriage.
Speaker 3 (08:35):
This is not exciting.
Speaker 8 (08:36):
It.
Speaker 7 (08:36):
Again, we're in it, but we're like on the total
extreme other side. I was watching this. Actually, I can
send you this instagram sistening. You can send it to
Michael about how we have to make like thousands and
thousands of decisions every single day.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
Send it to Michael. Don't send it to me, just
send it to him.
Speaker 3 (08:52):
Yeah, there's a decision.
Speaker 7 (08:53):
Eighty percent of our closet does not need to exist.
And so she was like, if you could get rid
of eighty percent of the closet, keep the twenty percent that.
Speaker 3 (09:00):
I like that concept.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
Could we get to a place every day where we
make fewer decisions?
Speaker 6 (09:06):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (09:06):
I would like to make fewer decisions every day. And
if I could accelerate that, like every day, have fewer,
be great.
Speaker 7 (09:16):
You probably have like in the high thousands because you
have multiple jobs, Like, oh, I wouldn't want to know
how many you have to make it a day.
Speaker 4 (09:23):
So like if we had to wear a uniform to work,
that would be one less decision that we would have
to make.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
Correct, How do you feel about it? You want my size?
You can order from the gap. You guys want my sizes?
Would it be great if we were Actually I have
been working basically the same I mean this is the
same sweater you saw two.
Speaker 6 (09:39):
Days, the Jay cruizweater.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
Yeah, wow, I told you I'm wearing the same thing.
Guys every other day. Well it is one or two
point seven kiss FM.
Speaker 3 (09:48):
How do you pack.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
For a vacation or the weekend getaway? Do you overpacked?
Your streamline it? Travel experts say it's one item you
can skip and one item you should bring. So the
thing to skip uncomfortable shoes. They take up too much space.
And it's true they do.
Speaker 3 (10:06):
Shoes.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
And also I am guilty of putting my shoes up
against underwear I and then I think about that the
next day. I'm a fast pack now. Sometimes the soles
of my shoes.
Speaker 4 (10:20):
Have a little separate section for your chonies. I can't
do that.
Speaker 6 (10:28):
Robbie does the same thing.
Speaker 4 (10:28):
You just throw shoes right on top of Yeah, what's
next your toothbrush right on top of your shoes.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
I have to man my toothbrush floats or my toilet
your back.
Speaker 1 (10:37):
I cannot It's touch like your face cream. No, I can't.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
The one thing you should definitely bring is a portable charger,
either a power bank with multiple inputs or an external battery.
Speaker 3 (10:47):
But that's that's the one thing to bring.
Speaker 2 (10:50):
I'm more interested in why Robbie and I put our
soles of our shoes on our underwear.
Speaker 6 (10:54):
It drives me insane.
Speaker 1 (10:56):
I don't gross.
Speaker 2 (10:57):
I know today's quote. You don't find your worth in
a partner. You find your worth within yourself. Then find
a partner who's worthy of you.
Speaker 3 (11:08):
Woo. I like to disagree. I'd rather find a I
don't know.
Speaker 8 (11:12):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (11:14):
Your quote.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
Come on, I know, I don't say. I subscribe to
all of them. I like it's kiss good morning? Why
not two point seven Kiss FM? Let's git the headlines
assistanty Kiss FM headlines with sisiny Well.
Speaker 4 (11:25):
Mayor Bass is asking the city Council to approve four
point four millions so the LAPD can hire four hundred
and ten new officers instead of freezing hiring. In January,
La County announced charges against five men accused of unlicensed
contracting work in the Eton fire burn zone. Disney is
investing one billion dollars in open AI, giving the company
(11:48):
access to Star Wars, Marvel, and other Disney characters for
its Sora Ai video tool, and Cynthia Arrivo will join
Ariana Grande on select dates of her Eternal son Hine
Tour next year.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
Right, it's one o two point seven Kiss FM.
Speaker 3 (12:05):
Do you know about this?
Speaker 2 (12:06):
As Natania went off on somebody at her yoga gym
and now she needs to find another place because it's
uncomfortable to go back.
Speaker 4 (12:11):
Yeah, I do know about this, and he's like, Tanya,
you can't do this.
Speaker 3 (12:15):
That we would do the same thing in your situation.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
I've learned I am not a to hold back my comments.
Speaker 3 (12:21):
I do not do this either.
Speaker 1 (12:23):
Yeah, confront first of all, neither do I.
Speaker 3 (12:26):
Well you did clearly, I know. I know I kicked out.
Speaker 6 (12:30):
No no, no, I wasn't kicked out.
Speaker 7 (12:31):
But I can never show my things like the embarrassment,
Yeah happened. So this is my This was my second
time at this specific yoga gym, and it's like hot.
It's not like eighty degrees heated. It's one hundred and
twenty degrees heated, so it is majorly hot. And we're
getting like packed in this room and I'm two inches
away from the people next to me, like it is
so packed, and I'm already starting to get like a
(12:53):
little frustrated because it's like so full. And then they
keep opening the door and like bringing in more people
and more people and having people. At this point, the
person behind me, her mat was on top of mine. Whew,
I'm doing my yoga. My foot, my sweaty foot knocks
over the girl behind me, Stanley Cup, So my foot
is like on her straw that she's sucking out of it,
(13:15):
and I felt bad for her. I looked back and
I was like, I'm so sorry. I'm like I'm so uncomfortable.
Then Robbie's like, screwed up, babe, so you don't knock
over her water bottle. So then I'm in front and
the person in front of me sweaty foot is in
my face.
Speaker 6 (13:29):
So I'm like panicking.
Speaker 7 (13:30):
I'm like panicking, and I'm just like getting more and
more worked up as the class is going and this.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
Is not the point of yoga and exactly the outcome
to be during a yoga sez exactly.
Speaker 7 (13:41):
And Robbie looks at me that he can tell that
I'm like spooling, and he's like, do you want to leave, babe,
And I was like, no, we're here. I want to
get a work.
Speaker 6 (13:49):
I was like, we're here, I want to get a workout. Whatever.
Speaker 7 (13:52):
So I'm gonna spare you all the details. But like
everybody in there too, I felt like was getting rattled
like me. You know, they kept looking at me like.
Speaker 6 (13:58):
This is so crazy. So he finished the.
Speaker 7 (14:01):
Class and I walk out and I like ask the guy,
and I'm thinking they're going to be apologetic, like, no,
we accidentally oversold, Like this isn't you know how it
normally is. He kind of like laughed at me and
he was like, yeah, that's how it is. It's you know,
Saturday morning. And I just like snapped and I was
like what that is because I was like that is
not hygienic. I said, that is unhygienic. That is unacceptable.
(14:23):
I was like we were on top of each other
and we were we are never coming back here.
Speaker 6 (14:28):
Oh well you really put the nail.
Speaker 3 (14:30):
Neck off it. What's the name of the place. We'll
get them.
Speaker 7 (14:34):
So then I like go into the car and Robbie's like,
whoa you were such like I've never seen you be
like that?
Speaker 6 (14:39):
What a Karen?
Speaker 7 (14:40):
You were, and I was like, oh my gosh. So
then I start like feeling bad about it.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
I was like, you know what, then the guilt sets
in that you did something it's going to make them
feel bad. And then do you want to go back
and apologize?
Speaker 6 (14:49):
So then I did so.
Speaker 7 (14:50):
Then so then I started calling and I'm like, I
want to apologize because I should have approched it in
a different way and just said that's not for me.
Do you have any classes with less people. I'll come
at a different time time.
Speaker 3 (15:00):
And did you were successful?
Speaker 8 (15:02):
No?
Speaker 7 (15:02):
I think they blocked my number because they were not answering.
Speaker 1 (15:05):
I called multiple then I called on Robbie's phone.
Speaker 6 (15:07):
I start sixty seven.
Speaker 7 (15:08):
I blocked my number, but then I discovered that I
was calling the wrong number.
Speaker 3 (15:13):
So you did not make.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
So did you apologize?
Speaker 6 (15:15):
I never made amends.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
Well, what's interesting is that, like, if you do say
something that might be intense or might be critical, are
you the person that feels guilty afterwards or not?
Speaker 3 (15:24):
I would feel so much guilt.
Speaker 7 (15:26):
Oh my gosh, I still feel it out Like I
literally was like, okay, they're apologize to them now. I
was like, if they're not answering my call, maybe I'll
show up and I'll bring some cookies and just say like,
I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (15:36):
I like.
Speaker 2 (15:37):
The thing is when anybody uses the word unacceptable, that's harsh,
like that word them fighting words there, I know.
Speaker 7 (15:46):
And Robbie looks, I mean, he's like some people love that,
Like that's why some people come to this class.
Speaker 6 (15:52):
Unsanitary.
Speaker 3 (15:52):
What you do crowded, sweaty workouts all the time on
the treadmills. No, but like I don't.
Speaker 7 (16:00):
No, it's different when it's one hundred and twenty degrees
and it's like when you're doing jumping jacks and people
sweat is flopping on you.
Speaker 6 (16:06):
Like it's just a different type of.
Speaker 3 (16:08):
This gym is.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
Now they've incorporated a new move to the yoga routine,
and that is the spiraling Tanya, take a deep breath,
let's do the spiraling ton.
Speaker 6 (16:17):
I've never snap, that's never, I've never.
Speaker 2 (16:19):
Been except it's a harsh word. You gotta be careful
that word. That's where you need not throw around lightly.
Speaker 3 (16:24):
And it was yoga on a Saturday, Light it up time.
Speaker 6 (16:28):
I never locked out.
Speaker 1 (16:29):
And never gone back.
Speaker 3 (16:31):
The second date update.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
If you're out of the dating world, it's just not
great I mean, until you get past the first few dates,
you're just it's just not fun.
Speaker 3 (16:36):
It really isn't. I don't want to hear it is.
It's not.
Speaker 2 (16:39):
And once you get to two months, you think you're
kind of golden. At least you're comfortable and you're dating
and share. You know, we know what the vibe is.
Speaker 6 (16:47):
Uh huh.
Speaker 2 (16:47):
So Victor says, h April, I met her on hinge.
We dated for two months and then this is what's interesting.
Let me bring Victor in for this. They met parents.
So Victor, good morning, and thanks for coming on. Oh
the struggles of in La. I feel you. I feel you,
Victor West Covina. So you dated for two months and
then she introduced you to her parents.
Speaker 9 (17:12):
Yeah you sure?
Speaker 3 (17:15):
Okay, so she did. How was that?
Speaker 9 (17:20):
I thought that was great? Like we had dinner with
her family and it was I thought it went really well,
you know, like after that that she goes to me.
Speaker 2 (17:30):
And what do you like what happened with the family.
Do you think was the family feeling you?
Speaker 9 (17:36):
I mean I thought I was like cracking everybody up,
like I'm really good with parents, you know, And she
told me that too. Actually, like she shed at the
like afterwards, she walked me to the car, like kissed me.
She was like that was so great, like text me later,
like and then I did. And that's when I was like,
no response, And.
Speaker 2 (17:59):
Then you wanted her to meet your family. So things
were I mean in your mind everything was clicking.
Speaker 9 (18:07):
Yeah, like I mean, yeah, absolutely. I mean I thought
she might have got like busby for a day or two.
So I was like, tried some like good morning texts,
and finally I just like sen her question mark and like.
Speaker 3 (18:22):
Nothing, you know, I don't know something was said.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
There was obviously something that do you.
Speaker 2 (18:29):
Think her parents didn't like you? You know what I mean,
like maybe her parents said I don't get this guy.
Speaker 9 (18:37):
But I just can't believe that that like she would like,
I don't know, that's ride.
Speaker 3 (18:46):
I mean, that's a long run.
Speaker 4 (18:47):
And it's also kind of crazy for her to ghost
you after two months. It was a date or two maybe,
but two months, Like, guys are invested, all right.
Speaker 3 (18:56):
So dude, her name is Michelle? Is that right?
Speaker 10 (19:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (19:00):
Okay, bro, So hold on one second, we're gonna get
her on the line. You'll be just silent and listen in.
We'll try and find out and get to the bottom.
That's why she ghosted you, right, Okay. I think the
parents didn't.
Speaker 1 (19:14):
Like him, and then they had like an intervention with her.
Speaker 3 (19:16):
Yeah, and they said, we don't get this.
Speaker 4 (19:19):
I'm still even if that was the case, why why
she just about facing like the ghost him.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
Diving right back into it. We are in the middle
of a second date up date. Victor met Michelle on
hinge Great. They go out for two months, then all
of a sudden, she brings him to meet her parents.
He had plans for her to meet his parents after that,
but after the parental.
Speaker 3 (19:40):
Meeting, she blew him off.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
He doesn't know why, like ghosted after two months, which
is very interesting to not give any explanation after two months.
Speaker 4 (19:49):
And he says that night she was like, that went great,
text me tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
All that I'm worried that her parents maybe didn't like you, Victor,
and I don't I don't know, but that it seems
like the most likely scenario. But we have Michelle on
the other line, So Victor, just be very quiet. You're
gonna hear everything, all right, Okay, let's see if we
can find out why she blew you off after two
months when you thought everything was going perfectly.
Speaker 3 (20:17):
Hello Michelle, you on yeah, Hi, this is Michelle.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
Hi, Michelle, thank you for joining us, Ryan Seacrest and
everybody here kiss FM in the morning. So we are
calling you out of the blue about a guy you
met on Hinge named Victor.
Speaker 11 (20:32):
Oh, okay, what about him?
Speaker 3 (20:34):
What did you like about him?
Speaker 11 (20:38):
I mean, like, listen, we dated a little bit, like,
you know, just casually, and you know, he did seem like,
you know, an I said, decent guy, you know.
Speaker 2 (20:47):
Just overall okay, and tell me about the dating and
how did it go? Where does it stand? Well?
Speaker 11 (20:54):
Okay, so just casually like for two months. But the
thing was, is he like, you know, we did actually
kind of meet like some friends, and you know, I
did actually have him meet like a little bit of
my family, but it wasn't like extremely serious. We were
really just having a good time together. And you know, overall, again,
he was just a really nice guy.
Speaker 3 (21:15):
And what did your family think of him? That's kind
of a big step.
Speaker 11 (21:19):
Well again, kind of like on my end, they all
thought he was really nice. And the thing is, even
though he was really nice overall, it's plain and clear
my mom just didn't like him.
Speaker 2 (21:33):
Okay, So he was nice, he was decent, it was casual,
but your mom had something against him?
Speaker 3 (21:39):
What didn't she like?
Speaker 11 (21:41):
I mean, okay, so my mom was always right when
she had feelings like this, Like when I was in
high school, I would like, you know, I would like
about it and be all dramatic, but she was always right.
And the thing is is she stayed to me that
she thought he was too like, like slick or too smooth.
I don't know. She really just compared him like a snake,
(22:01):
a snake.
Speaker 3 (22:03):
Wow, after one meeting, after one dinner.
Speaker 9 (22:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (22:07):
Again, she's got like this really great intuition. So I
kind of feel like I'm also at a point in
my life where I really do need to trust my
mom because clearly I'm still single, so I have no
clue what I'm doing.
Speaker 2 (22:17):
Okay, well now, but that's a very quick to judge
moment for your mom, wouldn't you say?
Speaker 11 (22:26):
Again at the point I that my mom has a
really good judgment on people, and especially like where I
stand in this process. But I mean, I guess I
do feel like maybe she was a little too quick
to judge. But again, like it's your mom. She you know,
your mom's there that maybe you don't see.
Speaker 1 (22:43):
Yeah, but you are the one that's dating this guy.
How did he make you feel? Was he slick? Was
he to whatever your mom was saying?
Speaker 11 (22:52):
I mean, I mean, do you really want to spend
some medea? Why I don't want to see him, just overall,
even though my mom kind of conveyed.
Speaker 3 (23:00):
Yeah, that'd be great, Yeah, that'd be great.
Speaker 11 (23:02):
Okay, all right, fine, he is a decent guy. He
had some some members of my family. I just won't
be seeing him again. I just overall, if my family
doesn't feel like he's the right fit for me, then
he's just not the right fit for me.
Speaker 3 (23:18):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
Well, Michelle, this is uh probably hard for Victor to
hear because he's hearing it right now.
Speaker 3 (23:27):
He's on the other line. Victor. Would you like to
respond to what she said?
Speaker 9 (23:32):
Yeah, I just I just can't believe you're serious. Like
you told me that it went great when we were
at my car.
Speaker 11 (23:43):
I mean, I thought it did go great, But when
we had our post, you know, mordem and my mom
just said she didn't like you.
Speaker 8 (23:49):
Okay, I mean, Michelle, I have to say, you're too
you kind of like not the what's the right words
his name, Hannah with a little bit of Carey's nice
at kind of the word. I feel like you're not
being so nice to Victory after dating him for two months.
Don't you think that there's a like a little TLC
that could be used here or.
Speaker 1 (24:09):
A conversation you could have had rather than ghost him.
Speaker 3 (24:11):
Yeah, well.
Speaker 11 (24:14):
Out, I feel like I have to really just focus
on myself, but also where I need to trust the
instincts of others and listen. He was, you know what,
you were really great with. I won't why. I felt
like you were very very well received.
Speaker 8 (24:31):
It's just.
Speaker 11 (24:34):
She got to find.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
Me vibe.
Speaker 2 (24:37):
Okay, look, Victor, here's the deal. This is not meant
to be. Let's just call it all right, We'll stop.
Michelle's not vibing. I don't even think she's warm to
the idea, Victor. At least you've heard why, and let's
move on. Don't lose sleep, Victor over this. Michelle, thank
you for being transparent. We appreciate you doing that with
us on the air this morning.
Speaker 11 (24:57):
No, thanks, Okay.
Speaker 3 (24:59):
Victor, hold on for a sec. She's not the one, bro, No,
she's not. She's not so nice to you.
Speaker 9 (25:08):
I can't believe that she would just listening to her
mom like that, Like that's.
Speaker 3 (25:12):
Like might be the blessing in the sky.
Speaker 6 (25:16):
I think so too.
Speaker 1 (25:17):
Imagine that's down the road to the Lord and say thanks.
Speaker 4 (25:21):
She always needing mommy's approval for everything going down the
light forget it, run in the other direction.
Speaker 3 (25:26):
That's the second date up there. There you go on
air with Ryan Seacrest. All right, hello to the back room.
Hi everybody. Okay, who do we have back there this morning?
Speaker 2 (25:43):
Squad?
Speaker 3 (25:43):
Yeah, squad.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
So I'm looking at the number of cars registered. There
are six million registered cars in Los Angeles, so parking
is obviously a challenge. There's limited parking spaces and tickets
are hassled. The most common tickets in LA for street cleaning,
red zones, and expired meters. A shout out to Secret
Los Angeles who did some digging and figured out where
(26:07):
in LA you're most likely to get a ticket. So
they looked at all the tickets this year. Wow, and
if you're parking in these areas, be careful. There's a
lot of ticketing going on eastbound sixth Street downtown, particularly
at Broadway and Grand. Over three thousand tickets this year's
a lot of homework that they did.
Speaker 1 (26:25):
They really get to those cars.
Speaker 2 (26:27):
Another hot ticketing spot Lexington Avenue in Hollywood near Highland
in Santa Monica. It's the most ticketed spot for street cleaning.
H So Mariposa, just off Wiltshire in Koreatown. That's where
they get you for parking in a red zone more
often than anywhere else. Pacific Avenue and Windward in Venice
lots of tickets for double parking because it's the beach area.
(26:50):
Parking by the beach and Rubio Avenue just Southaventure in
Encino is no parking eight am to six pm and
they hand out tickets up plenty. But they did all
this at secret Los Angeles to sort of highlight where
the most densely ticketed areas are and you probably know,
like if you freak go in those areas, you probably
(27:10):
know this is a spot where you don't want to
mess around. A street cleaning ticket seventy three bucks. Parking
in the red zone is eighty and a ticket for
parking in a bus lane.
Speaker 3 (27:20):
Ninety three dollars.
Speaker 1 (27:21):
Whoa three hundred bucks?
Speaker 3 (27:23):
Three hundred bucks are parking in the bus that's wild.
Speaker 7 (27:26):
One time I was parked in a meter in West Hollywood,
and my tires were like on the front line, like
a little bit above the front line. No big deal,
they'll give you lots of space for multiple cars. Because
my car was over the line, I got a.
Speaker 3 (27:37):
Ticket they use. I mean, the line is the line line, but.
Speaker 4 (27:43):
It's your all comes down to your tire. The line
is a guy, comes down to your tires. Your car
could be over the line, but not your tires.
Speaker 3 (27:51):
Maybe your tires were over the line.
Speaker 6 (27:52):
They were for sure.
Speaker 3 (27:53):
Oh okay, okay, Well just like when you're not that.
Speaker 1 (27:55):
A red light ticket.
Speaker 3 (27:58):
The light was red, but it didn't know why. I mean,
wait yellow for a second, only a second?
Speaker 2 (28:03):
Alright, la okay, Tanya, let's go into I just want
to check in since I married you, how's it going.
Speaker 6 (28:13):
Things are great.
Speaker 7 (28:15):
I'm obsessed with being married, like literally obsessed.
Speaker 6 (28:18):
Wish we would have done it sooner. But I have
this photo.
Speaker 7 (28:22):
I got this polaroid of me and Joe Jonas, and
I didn't know what to do with the polaroid. I
just like had it in my car, so I put
it up like in my car, like that dash. You
know what I'm talking about, Like the thing that's like.
And so Robbie was like, why do you have this
picture of Jojonas in your car?
Speaker 6 (28:39):
This is so weird.
Speaker 7 (28:40):
Anyways, I had to get a rental car because my
car got hit, and so I took the polaroid of
Jojonas and I put it like in our living room
and it was like up against like a main photo
in our living room. And so he came home the
other day and he was like, why is this photo
of you and Joe Jonas now in our living room?
And It's become this kind of joke where I'm just like,
(29:00):
keep putting this picture of me and Joejonas all over
the house.
Speaker 3 (29:04):
Why do you take?
Speaker 2 (29:05):
Why do you take pop stars to taunt your husband with?
Like you did this with a Harry Styles pillowcase. He
had this sleep with Harry Styles face on a pillowcase.
Speaker 3 (29:14):
That's not cool.
Speaker 2 (29:16):
I mean, Harry Styles is someone we're all jealous stuff,
So I don't like it.
Speaker 3 (29:19):
That's not cool.
Speaker 7 (29:20):
Yeah, it's just funny because he never he's not the
jealous type. Like my husband just is like very secure,
very calm and collected. But for some reason, I feel
like the Jojonas polaroid is like getting to him a
little bit.
Speaker 3 (29:33):
Yeah, because wen't stop. Why, Like, what's the equivalent of
him to do this to you? Who would it be? Uh?
Speaker 7 (29:42):
That's what Becka told me. She was like, what if
he had pictures of like him and Margot Robbie up
around the house?
Speaker 6 (29:47):
Like, yeah, I wouldn't liked that.
Speaker 2 (29:48):
So how would you feel if Margot Robbie were in
a polaroid right next to your coffee machine?
Speaker 6 (29:54):
Yeah? Yeah, I wouldn't like it so much?
Speaker 2 (29:56):
So why are you? Sidney's question is the right one.
You know, this is all fun in games today, but
this is gonna leave a mark. You keep playing with this,
right and keep.
Speaker 4 (30:03):
Doing this, He's going to retaliate and you're not gonna
like what he's gonna you know, don't dish it out
if you can't take it.
Speaker 3 (30:08):
Your feelings are gonna get hurt. You know about those feelings?
Speaker 6 (30:10):
I yeah, I do know about those feelings.
Speaker 7 (30:12):
He does say, though, He's like, I feel like living
like being married to you is like I love Lucy,
Like I never know what I'm gonna come home to,
So I just gotta keep him on his toes, you
know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (30:21):
Is Shawn Mendez next Shawn Mendez. Next it's Harry Styles
Jo Jonas. Now a post of Shawn Mendez.
Speaker 3 (30:28):
Men in the bedroom thrown back.
Speaker 2 (30:31):
Oh, you know, it's so fun. I'll never get married
just hearing about y'all's marriages.
Speaker 3 (30:36):
This is great. I feel like I get my fill
of marriage just listening to y'all's marriage.
Speaker 1 (30:39):
That is not even a tenth of it.
Speaker 3 (30:42):
I only want a tenth of it. I don't, I
don't want. I'm going for.
Speaker 2 (30:48):
Let me grab Veronica and Lapente at one eight hundred
five to one on two seven. Good morning, Veronica.
Speaker 3 (30:55):
How are you?
Speaker 8 (30:57):
Hi? Am good? How are you?
Speaker 3 (30:58):
I'm great? Thank you.
Speaker 2 (31:00):
So we understand your calling about pet custody post breakup.
Speaker 10 (31:06):
Yes, we're breaking up. It's been three years. Uh yeah,
I'm doing fine. In case you're wondering, right.
Speaker 2 (31:18):
Yeah, Prus, You're okay, you're you're moving past it.
Speaker 3 (31:21):
But what was the arrangement with the post custody?
Speaker 10 (31:26):
Sure? Yeah, So you know we have a cat, you know,
and he wants her because he literally bottles at her.
But you know, it's obvious that she likes me better.
It's extremely clear, and even admit study that she likes
me better. So I'm not interested in joint custody. I
(31:49):
need a clean break from this relationship. And I'm wondering, Yeah,
like what you think about that?
Speaker 2 (31:56):
Well?
Speaker 3 (31:56):
I think joint custody is fair.
Speaker 1 (31:58):
Honest's so complicated and with the cat I look.
Speaker 2 (32:02):
Sisney, I don't doesn't matter if it's an EMU. Okay,
it's joint custody. Like you, you raised the EMU together.
You should be able to spend some time. Especially after
going through a breakup, you need something to ease the pain.
The most challenging part is the exchange of the EMU, Like,
where do you ironic got?
Speaker 4 (32:17):
I have seen this firsthand with one of my best friends,
Like she shared, they shared the dogs, dogs, two of them,
and then it turned into like her just sending him.
Speaker 1 (32:26):
Money for these dogs. It's like, what are you doing?
Like you don't even see him. I don't know.
Speaker 4 (32:30):
I just think, like, you're right, you need a clean
break and the joint custody thing is no good.
Speaker 2 (32:35):
Why don't you try the joint custody thing for a
little bit just to ease the pain of the breakup.
Maybe he's going through it, maybe his heart is broken.
Speaker 1 (32:41):
Who initiated it?
Speaker 10 (32:43):
I did you know he's not feeling great about the breakup,
and I just think it will kind of make things
worse if we have to keep in contact.
Speaker 3 (32:51):
Why did you? Why did you break up?
Speaker 10 (32:56):
Well, to be honest, you know, I realized this relationship
isn't really going and where he's a little bit too
into video games, a little too into weed, and it's
just not my style. I just realized he's not my guy.
I just feel really good about the decision to just
end it and move on, you.
Speaker 3 (33:13):
Know, I have.
Speaker 2 (33:15):
I just feel that since you broke up with him,
he's to paint on him a little bit by letting
him see your pet and then the complicated part just
for just for a chapter here, just for a beat,
because the complicated part is the exchange. That's the thing,
because you have to see him. But if you're over him,
what do you care?
Speaker 10 (33:37):
Yeah, that's a good point. I'm definitely not trying to
argue with you're there. It's just the cat definitely feels
like more my cat.
Speaker 4 (33:48):
I don't love it. I think it's gonna be confusing
for the cat. It's gonna be going from house to house.
Speaker 3 (33:53):
The cat doesn't care. The cat just mopes around.
Speaker 1 (33:57):
You don't know that her cat mopes around.
Speaker 2 (33:59):
Cats are more that's what they do. Mope the cat.
Do you know, Mope the cat, Tom, Jerry and Mope.
Speaker 3 (34:06):
I say it.
Speaker 1 (34:06):
I say it's a no go. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (34:09):
There's two sides of the coin. And thank you very
much for reaching out to us. I'm glad you made
a choice because it sounds like it's best for you.
Speaker 3 (34:17):
Let us know where it goes to. Custody can be complicated.
I like it. I like sharing the custody. All right.
Speaker 2 (34:23):
Thanks Ronica, you take good care, good luck. Thank you
guys so much for that epic Friday morning. It's gonna
be such a great weekend in southern California. We'll talk
to you on Monday.
Speaker 3 (34:33):
Thanks for listening to On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Make
sure to subscribe and we'll talk to you again Monday.
