Speaker 3 (00:09):
Well, it was almost as if it was timed the
moment that we were in the elevator or on our
way down the hallways after the show yesterday. But I mean,
how could you not have heard the news unless you
were in an MRI for the last day. I mean,
that's the only way you would have missed the news.
Speaker 4 (00:25):
Yeah, or or a fly like a twenty hour flight
with no phone when you land.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
I was like, oh my gosh, this is for people
in their car, like they don't know yet, they're finding.

Out for the first time. It was really exciting to.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
This is our version of covering a major global breaking
news story.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
That's as serious as it gets around here.
Speaker 4 (01:07):
I know, And I did not handle it professionally.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
I was I was giddy and screeching and shaking and
all the things.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
But don't you think that people around the world felt
a spark of goodness and excitement and belief in the
greater good of love.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
I mean, just for a.
Speaker 5 (01:24):
Second, it was like a universal hug. Yeah, it's all
I've been thinking about. I can't stop looking at it.
I literally I saw the news with.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
The ring we started the flowers start where the.
Speaker 4 (01:35):
Oval diamond in a bezel. It's like this, the ring
is Taylor swiftly it.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
Where is this garden of everything?
Speaker 2 (01:42):
An enchanted forest of harlowers in beauty?
Speaker 4 (01:46):
And does she know?
Speaker 1 (01:47):
What is she saying? Just as if I have amnesia
what happened?
Speaker 5 (01:51):
Well, all we know is what they posted, which is
the picture of the two of them in this like floor.
Speaker 3 (01:57):
Where's that Annie? Where's Annie? The at swifty Annie? I
gotta get hurt.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
Later, We're gonna get her. She's got her theories as well. Obviously,
we don't think this happened yesterday, these.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
Photos, because why would they do it in the moment. No,
they're going to celebrate, They're going to have their moment
to themselves.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
People are going as deep as like, oh Travis had
a fresh haircut back in July twenty seven, so maybe.
Speaker 4 (02:18):
He did it.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
Then. It's just like getting your nails done right, your
hair tut your nails. You gotta be ready.
Speaker 4 (02:23):
I tried to.
Speaker 5 (02:23):
Figure out the date and why the date was significant,
so I was like adding up eight and two and
six and two and five, and I can't.
Speaker 4 (02:30):
I haven't made heads or tails of the numbers.
Speaker 3 (02:33):
But like, let's look at the fingernails. Who has I
was sitting on my feet. All of a sudden, I
got you excited about it. I got video of you
from yesterday. All the sudden, yeah came out anyway, So
let's look at the nails. Everybody looked ready, Like all
of the fingers looked ready for engagement.
Speaker 4 (02:50):
She doesn't normally have nails like that.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
And how do you covertly pull something off on her?
I feel like she has. I say this about some people.
You know, flies have compound eyes. They see everything around
them at once, and I feel like she's got that.
So let's get some information. Let's get some news. Put
the world is celebrating and we need some good news.
Partly sunny today. Huts in the mid eighties nineties going
(03:14):
into labor day Weekend's right, this is settled, it's done.
There's no more asking, no more questioning. And it's also
before the season, right, that's true.
Speaker 4 (03:23):
Before we're we're saying pre season of football, so we.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
Don't know when it happened. Let's get some more details.
Lots of excitement back room, just quick reaction. I mean,
in turn amy, before you leave the pop zeitgeist of
Kiss FM, look at what happens. A gift of the
engagement of Travis and Taylor.
Speaker 6 (03:45):
What a beautiful sendoff.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
A wonderful send off, sending you off with great pop news.
Speaker 5 (03:50):
Do you understand that I told Becca to be engaged?
Is this at the same time as Taylor Swift? Is
like such a gift?
Speaker 3 (03:57):
Telling people about that doesn't seem like the right word?
What what don't if you tell people.
Speaker 4 (04:03):
That's the first thing I sent to Becka to be engaged.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
Gift at the same time, the same cycle of engagement. Yes,
appreciate it. We're going to get into tell me something
good in a second. Also, this morning, we're gonna check
in with a student on their way to Pally High.
They've set up a makeshift school at the Old Seers
in Santa Monica. So basically they're going to class inside
the old Sears. They're on fourth in Santa Monica, so
(04:26):
gonna check in, like what's that like, I think they'll
find it. They're trying to get back into their school
at Pallly High right by January or in January.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
I drove past it the other day and it kind
of blew my mind. I was like, oh wait, that's
the old Seers building. But it totally says Pallly High
now and it looks like a.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
High school and what did you see? What could you tell?
Speaker 2 (04:44):
You could tell like where the main building of Sears
is and like what the like I think it still
has like the electric doors maybe or they put they
put new doors, but but yeah, it says Pally High.
And I don't know if it's past that building, like
there's stuff on the other side.
Speaker 3 (04:58):
I just well, we're going to talk to him. He's
a sophomore. Actually he's play soccer two there, so chat
with him on his way into school. Now, tell me
something good. So here's the idea. I'm gonna start you
off with the right.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
Frame of mine.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
You know, I think the good vibration is a good energy.
I mean it sounds cliche, a litle bit cheesy, but
it kind of does help. It's like when you put
yourself in a good mood, it can help you bad
people's moods if it affects you like people.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
You know, if people bring.
Speaker 3 (05:24):
You down, totally stay. You want to stay away from them.
You don't want to be one because that brings you
down to But do you want to stay and people
to bring you down? There's people that just always bring
you down. Why you got to be so down? Why worst?
Well you gotta be like that? Sissany tell me something good.
Speaker 2 (05:41):
I went out to dinner last night with my family
and I guess extended family. So Michael's sister, her fiance,
their kids, his brother wife, their kid, and I had what,
in my opinion, is probably the best stake of my
entire life. And it was at a restaurant. Should I
shout it out? I feel like they should get the
(06:01):
credit for their steak. Absolutely, it's basta in Agra Hills,
Basta b a s stop ta stop what stop.
Speaker 4 (06:14):
Yas?
Speaker 2 (06:15):
Yeah enough so And it was like it was like
a New York steak, but they brought it with like
the bones sticking up. They carved it like at our table.
It was just so delicious and they put alive oil
on it. I don't even know what they did, but
it was.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
Simple cooked, simple, yes you need don't do it.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
It was so delicious, and we had pastas and things
like that. It was just such a good dinner and
with like our family, the cousins hanging out, it was
just really nice.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
Lasson, I love those moments that creates the good vibrations,
A good thing to tell me something good.
Speaker 5 (06:45):
Okay, I'm really excited because today after work, I'm going
to go to the Bourbon courthouse and officially start the
process to change my name.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
All right, what will we call you? Talk?
Speaker 5 (06:57):
You'll call me the same thing, but like legally so
Tanya Yadagar But legally my name is Tatiana.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
Already Sabby Beach. So so are you keeping Tatiana now?
Speaker 7 (07:06):
No?
Speaker 4 (07:07):
So you are going to do the whole shebang.
Speaker 5 (07:08):
Nobody calls me Tatiana, so like, why would I remain Tatiana?
Speaker 4 (07:12):
Who is Tatiana not me?
Speaker 1 (07:14):
I don't know which is your mom? How does she
feel about this?
Speaker 3 (07:17):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (07:19):
No, I don't know that they know I'm legally changing Tatiana.
Speaker 4 (07:21):
But they were fine about my lasts.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
Tell them that your mother would like to know that.
Speaker 5 (07:25):
My mother doesn't even call me Tatiana. They both my
parents call me Tanya.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
I know, but I still would tell I would tell
my mom at least.
Speaker 4 (07:32):
Yeah, you should tell your mom.
Speaker 5 (07:33):
I think they know. I didn't like have an. I
had to sit down about the last name. But I
didn't have a sit down.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
Tell Connie Seacrest about this. She's gonna want to know.
My mother is like, it's very hooked on this thing,
this show.
Speaker 1 (07:47):
I tell you why.
Speaker 3 (07:47):
I you know, it's it's it's a tough days of summer.
If you're in school at your high school, you're going
to practice all summer long, at the dog days of summer,
they call it. I smelled some fresh cut grass, and
it reminded me of those days. Isn't we talk about
summer practice getting back before school starts, smelling the grass
you were in cheerleading camp. I was in football practice,
(08:08):
and that smell of grass back then, I feared because
I knew it was time for practice. Now, great memories,
nostalgic memories with fresh cut grass so true. The only
thing you needed was powdered gatorade mix because that's what
I used to drink.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
You make your own gatorade.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
You make it sweeter, you know, Yeah, more scoops than
requires that. I did that in uh the sugar whether
there are the fun dips? Fun fun dipped it with
my tongue, sisy, Tanya here, thanks for being on with
us at the number one sport you should participate in
if you want to live longer, they tell me, and
a quote for your Wednesday in a moment. Now, Tanya
(08:44):
was just saying to us during that Kendrick, we were
talking about earlier, how you wake up? She puts tape
on her mouth for some reason. Better that too, And
we're talking about do you wake up?
Speaker 1 (08:56):
Smiling, grunting, moaning, how do you wake up?
Speaker 3 (08:59):
Then we just start talking about pillows, like I have
to carry my pillow with me. I have to pack
my pillow. If I go to a friend's house to stay,
I take my pillow. It's kind of getting so used
to my pillow. Everybody else is like this. So my
best friend Becca, also we went to Vegas. She packs
her pillow. She cannot sleep anywhere.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
I am not. I am not like this. She has abustion.
She like suctions they.
Speaker 1 (09:25):
And the valve on it. I have the same.
Speaker 4 (09:28):
Nights, get over it?
Speaker 5 (09:30):
So no, but I feel like pillows are so important.
And then I had this epiphany that I haven't purchased
new pillows since like the days of yonder, like college days,
like college our posts like right after, like when I
got like a big kid bed.
Speaker 4 (09:48):
Do you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (09:49):
Bring them?
Speaker 3 (09:49):
So when you and Robbie merged lives, you brought the
same pillows.
Speaker 5 (09:52):
So when we merged lives, his bed was like not it,
so we uh used we took my bed from my
apartment and put that in our primary.
Speaker 3 (10:04):
Is that because you didn't want to be in a
bed that someone else had been in? Because then he
accepted that by going into yours.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
No, my bad.
Speaker 5 (10:09):
My mattress is new, like I newly purchased my mattress,
so it's like comfortable and nice and like love that.
But the pillows have just remained since I like, I just.
Speaker 3 (10:23):
I know, is there a hygiene issue with pillows for
that long? Do you ever put the pillows in the washer?
Speaker 8 (10:28):
No?
Speaker 4 (10:29):
Yeah, well you could. I put the cases. I changed
my pillow.
Speaker 3 (10:32):
Case every sure, but the pillow I just wonder if
it doesn't get things that grow around.
Speaker 5 (10:39):
No, So I like, now I'm like, I need new pillows.
I need these gone immediately. You can know I'm having
analysis paralysis and I don't know the best pillows to
buy because I feel like, now I really need to
upgrade my pillow.
Speaker 3 (10:48):
Well, you need to go to one of the stores,
mattress from one of the stores and actually test I
got new pillows new meaning like a couple of years ago.
Speaker 4 (10:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (10:54):
Into the store, I laid on beds. I talked to
the guy. I told him how I sleep. I showed him.
I demoed how I sleep in my bed on the mattress,
and you put different pillows under me, because you need
to test drive these pillows before you get them.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
By the way, really where I went to I went
to mattress firm and they did the exact same thing.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
I said, show me how you sleep like with pleasure.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
Right, the different levels of pillows, like you want more
support less support.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
I mean it feels a little weird.
Speaker 3 (11:18):
I gotta be honest with you, but don't buy a
pillow without test driving it in the store.
Speaker 4 (11:23):
I barely use my pillow. I use like the very
corner of it and I.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
Like too, Yeah, barely. It's almost like it's.
Speaker 4 (11:30):
Almost like I don't need it, but you do, do you?
Speaker 9 (11:33):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (11:33):
I do. I can't sleep on the mattress and we.
Speaker 4 (11:36):
Have to our backs too.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
I can't do it.
Speaker 4 (11:39):
I can't do it.
Speaker 1 (11:41):
I'm not a back sleeper. I try to get so frustrated.
Speaker 4 (11:44):
You know when you get pregnant one day?
Speaker 1 (11:46):
Well about you, Ryan, You know, I don't know. Here's
the deal.
Speaker 3 (11:51):
Just read this blue zone expert, you know Dan Butt
or that guy Love That guy did the documentary on
Netflix about blue zones, wrote some books about blue zones.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
I'm into it.
Speaker 3 (11:59):
This wort place in the world, certain areas of the world.
But people just live the longest and they have common
things they do in their lives, common denominators that are
all true in all these different places all over the world.
And one of them, he says, I think it's getting
together with people, like communal dinners, family, like having people
for dinner and stuff like that. Yes, together, community, packing, community.
(12:22):
Here's the other thing, he says, stop playing pickleball. Now.
Pickleball is not everywhere. You can't find a quote everywhere,
but even hearing about a little bit. But pickleball.
Speaker 1 (12:29):
He says.
Speaker 3 (12:29):
This is something that will help you live longer. He
says it racket sports. If you want to broaden out,
racket sports can add ten years to your lives.
Speaker 4 (12:37):
Wow, I believe it.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
My in laws play pickleball like competitively, like they will
go to tournaments and stuff. And my father in law
is pushing eighty and he's great. He's active pickleball. Yeah,
it's incredible.
Speaker 3 (12:52):
That's awesome. I love to hear that. Well, that's what
he's saying, racket sports. All right, here's the quote. Peace
is not the absence of storms, but the refusal to
invite chaos inside. Say it again, Peace is not the
absence of storms, but the refusal to invite chaos.
Speaker 4 (13:10):
In yep, control what you can.
Speaker 1 (13:14):
All right, it's kiss Luthor there.
Speaker 3 (13:16):
Shot at Dodgers tickets, shot at Jonas Brothers tickets. That's
all coming up after seven, Sisney right now at the
headline FM Headlines with Sissy Well.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelcey announced their engagement yesterday on Instagram.
Speaker 4 (13:28):
We've all seen it.
Speaker 2 (13:29):
The caption your English teacher and your gym teacher are
getting married. The post is approaching thirty million likes so far.
California It's quarter century long initiative allowing eligible clean air
vehicles access to carpool lanes is coming to an end
next month after the White House opted against an extension
(13:50):
CARDI b the Witness It takes the Witness stand in
Alhambra yesterday. She is being sued by a security guard
who claims the rapper assaulted her.
Speaker 4 (13:59):
Into eighteen and Cracker.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
Barrel has abandoned plans to adopt a new minimalist logo
following backlash.
Speaker 3 (14:09):
Thanks for being with us today. So it's Wednesday, August
twenty seven. This hour is not Ryan's Roses. Tomorrow, this
hour is Ryan's roses. We're not to go to Palisades
High School. You know, they've got class there in that
old Sears building. They set up a makeshift high school
there for Palisades High, Pally High in the fourth it's
on Fourth Street and Sintemonka in the Sears building. So
he's got class there. I'm just curious to know what's
(14:29):
it like, and we'll talk to him. They plays soccer too,
so are they practicing somewhere around there. He's literally gonna
be on its way to his sophomore class. We'll talk
to him a little bit. Annie Lawrence. Let's get her
on here. Annie Lawrence a Swifty's story on Instagram. She
is an expert in all things Taylor Swift. She was
(14:51):
just on the air with us yesterday, Annie Lawrence, and
she has a PhD in all things Taylor. Now, recall
and I didn't listen to this show, but I was
here for it. Annie, I don't remember you saying wink, wink, nudge, nudge.
He may have already proposed, they may already be engaged.
(15:11):
Now did your world spin around when this happened?
Speaker 7 (15:16):
Oh my gosh, you guys, I am. I'm just screaming, crying,
throwing up. I think all this with these are just
freaking out right now. We are so excited for Taylor
and Travis. Yeah, no, no Easter eggs for the engagement.
You know, one thing Taylor told us is that she
will never Easter egg about her personal life. So I
try not to speculate about that too much, but just
(15:38):
be so excited for her.
Speaker 3 (15:39):
With any do you have any idea what's the theory
on how long they've been engaged, because these pictures could
have just happened in the moment yesterday or something right.
Speaker 7 (15:48):
Well, I think one thing to take note of is
Travis's haircut in the photos. It's a bit shorter, and
so I think we can maybe speculate it was sometime
around the end of July post training camp when he
you know, cuts his hair shorter. So that would be
my guess maybe maybe two to three weeks ago. But
you know, we don't know for sure until they confirmed.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
That, but that would be nice punches as to where
this happened. Is a beautiful photos. This flower garden of heaven.
Speaker 7 (16:17):
Oh, the flower garden is so perfect. You know what
reminds me of her song I hate it here where
she says I will go to secret gardens in my mind,
I don't know what. Almost seems kind of like a
backyard or just secluded space and maybe maybe a backyard
or something they had sed up just specialty two of them.
But I love the flowers, and it really does remind
(16:39):
me of the secret gardens in her mind where she
goes to escape to her peaceful place.
Speaker 4 (16:44):
It was so perfect, so perfect for Taylor.
Speaker 3 (16:47):
Lawrence is like her job is to be an expert
in uncovering and unhatching easter eggs for Taylor and Taylor's fans,
and this is what she does every day of her life.
And she must have been shook because we just spoke
to her and didn't even come up. But it's all
good news. I mean, we need some good news. So
see what you can learn over the next twenty four hours.
Let us know if there's anything and everything I'm sure
(17:08):
will be exposed. But if there's anything, you uncover and
come back to us any lawrence, But congratulations, this is
just another level of PhD you get.
Speaker 1 (17:16):
To pursue.
Speaker 7 (17:18):
Exactly. Thank you so much. We're all so excited. And
you know, if there's anything to find out, the swoopeas
will be cracking the code on it.
Speaker 3 (17:25):
Okay, I want to know what the best guess is
for when and where the wedding might be at some point.
Speaker 7 (17:32):
Yeah, that's a great question. Well, we know that Travis
is entering into football season, so he's got that ahead
of him, you know, and we have also the seculation
of Taylor possibly performing at the Super Bowl half time show.
So I mean, if I would if I would guess,
I would say at least be like spring or summer
of next year, but who knows. What Taylor has planned
(17:53):
with this new album, you know, if she has planned
at the tour or anything like that. So they may
also be taking their time. But regards I was just
so excited for both of them, and he.
Speaker 1 (18:03):
Thank you for the blessing that is your knowledge.
Speaker 7 (18:05):
You takeod care Okay.
Speaker 3 (18:08):
By any she's at a swifty story on Instagram. She
knows everything about Taylor, all the Easter eggs for us
every way back to school for the most part, And
I was reading here and I think you've driven by this.
But students at Palisades High obviously they returned to class
last week, but their school is still being repaired from
(18:28):
the fires in January, so since April they're going to Sears.
There's an old Seers building on fourth in Santa Monica,
and the goal is to be back to their regular
school in January. But Spencer Carpio is a sophomore and
soccer player at Pally High and he's on with us
right now, literally on his way on the doorstep to
his class at Sears.
Speaker 1 (18:48):
Spencer, good morning, good morning.
Speaker 3 (18:52):
First of all, how you doing and how what is
it like going to this makeshift school at Sears.
Speaker 9 (18:59):
Honestly to be back. You know, obviously it'd be great,
it'd be great to be at the Pali campus, but
with the rebuilding efforts going on right now, we can't
be there. Yeah, but this year's building it's great.
Speaker 7 (19:11):
You know.
Speaker 9 (19:11):
On the first day there were a few kinks, you know,
but I think a lot of them have worked out,
and it's just it's really a great It's a great
campus for what they've made it from.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
You know, I have to imagine that. I mean, you
and your classmates have this special bond because of the
challenges you've been through, the scariness you've been through, the
tragedy of these fires. I mean, this is a bond
you high school's always a bond for a long time,
but this is really a deeper bond forever with all
of you.
Speaker 9 (19:38):
Yeah, I mean, I think the palis Age is the
strongest community maybe in California. We survived a fire together,
you know, not just the students, but the teachers as well,
the whole community. I know many people who lost their houses,
who whose family lost houses and other things, and for
them to be still going to school and fighting through
this time, it's incredible. I have history teachers who went
(20:01):
out of their way to deliver textbooks to students when
they couldn't get them themselves. It's just really beautiful to
see what what such hardships can can bring out of people.
Speaker 3 (20:12):
It's true, It is true and amazing and beautiful, as
you said. And Spencer from Pally High on his way
into class now a sophomore. So math is in the
appliance department at Sears.
Speaker 9 (20:24):
Uh do you mean like the old appliance department would
have been the Appling's department.
Speaker 1 (20:30):
Didn't walk the floor people? How did they build it out?
Speaker 9 (20:34):
They built walls around. We actually don't have doors on
the classrooms. A lot of teachers put like curtains. It's
just really I don't know. It's just an open area
and there's a few doors they built in, or there's
a few openings they built in and makeshift classrooms. If
you look up into the ceilings, the ceilings are still exposed.
Speaker 1 (20:53):
To all of the.
Speaker 3 (20:55):
You also play soccer. Where's the field? How do you practice?
Speaker 9 (21:00):
So last semester after this the school burned down, we
played at John Adams Middle School and I think we
might hold our try outs at Airport Park in Santa Monica.
We're just asking around for fields and stuff. Like our
football team. I'm pretty sure we're playing at SMC, which
is I mean, it's crazy. The fires have just given
(21:22):
us so many opportunities and connections with other people who
would never have even talked to us before. And it's
it's great to come out of a situation like this.
Speaker 3 (21:32):
We appreciate your time to come on just before class.
What's your first class this morning?
Speaker 1 (21:37):
I buya, you really kills. Is that a good first
one to get out of the way.
Speaker 9 (21:44):
Uh no, No, he's a really nice teacher. Not too much.
Speaker 3 (21:48):
I always evaluated classes by let's what's best to get
out of the way early so I can have the
rest of the day to not think so much.
Speaker 9 (21:55):
I'd rather have hard classes at the end, I could
study throughout the day.
Speaker 3 (21:58):
You know, DJ, and You're gonna be running the planet,
So this is life. Listen, Spencer Carpio Santa Monica is
on his way into that sears at Old Sears on
fourth in Santa Monica where they put it the makeshift
pally high. Good luck and hello to everybody, and take
good care, a right, good luck with the season and tryouts.
Speaker 9 (22:17):
Bro All right, thank you, thank you guys, Take care.
Speaker 4 (22:20):
Thank you by Spencer.
Speaker 1 (22:21):
How poised is that, dude?
Speaker 3 (22:22):
I know poised in Colm, I would have been a
nervous wreck calling into anything that age my heart pound,
My heart still pound, still get excited, Like if I
call into EJ over the weekend, almost called in to EJ.
Speaker 1 (22:34):
Didn't do it because I was I get scared when this.
Speaker 4 (22:37):
I know you know what you mean.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
Answer the phone here, it's not if you're on the
other goes. Oh my gosh.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
There's been a few times I've been on KFI to
talk about wingo tangle or your heart pounds.
Speaker 1 (22:47):
Before you come on right.
Speaker 3 (22:48):
Yes, it's weird only for radios, mind you that on
the phone. Only on the phone, not one here, but
on the phone is a caller.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
It's weird. Let's get to Amy, the intern.
Speaker 3 (22:56):
Her time is almost up, y'all as an intern at
one or two points, having kids at m we have
a new one coming.
Speaker 1 (23:01):
We won't talk about that.
Speaker 4 (23:03):
We have a new one.
Speaker 1 (23:06):
Individual in front of you.
Speaker 6 (23:08):
Oh it's okay, I'm happy for It's a chapter.
Speaker 3 (23:11):
Life is all about chapters right now for you. So
school's back us started this week. You're going back to
Boston next week. These are actually things you want in
your dorm, right right, Okay, let's see if people agree.
Speaker 6 (23:24):
I feel like there's always so many videos that pop
up on social media that are college students saying like,
you need this for your apartment, you made this for
your dorm. But in my expert opinion, as a junior
in college who has lived in both dorm buildings and apartments,
here are some of the things I think that you
actually need for college that you might not think of great.
(23:45):
So first things.
Speaker 4 (23:46):
First, scented trash bags.
Speaker 6 (23:48):
I didn't even know that these existed until college, and
they are.
Speaker 4 (23:52):
They are a premium.
Speaker 6 (23:53):
They are a little more expensive, but smells are so
unavoidable and no one and I mean no one is
going to want to take out the trash on a
Friday or Saturday night. So the scent masks, whatever is the.
Speaker 3 (24:06):
Trash bags, I found it to be pleasant. I will
smell the trash bag every once in a while.
Speaker 4 (24:10):
I agree, like fabulous, So I love it.
Speaker 6 (24:14):
Next is medications, bring them all from home and like
a good first aid kit. Because campus stores, like stores
around campus, will inflate the prices of medications like Suda
fed and day quill, and like sinus renses, all of
the things that college students really use. They inflate, and
whether you're going to the parties or not, the frat
(24:36):
flu will come free.
Speaker 1 (24:39):
Frat flu? Will you if.
Speaker 6 (24:41):
Someone in your dorm has the frat flu?
Speaker 1 (24:44):
Threads and shower shoes and shower shoes.
Speaker 6 (24:46):
I hear, yeah, I mean the shower communal showers.
Speaker 4 (24:49):
It's gross.
Speaker 1 (24:49):
You don't want athletes.
Speaker 6 (24:50):
But even with that, you don't want to become the
kid who doesn't wear shower shoes.
Speaker 4 (24:56):
People will notice I never wear shoes.
Speaker 6 (25:00):
I'm sorry, no, like sorry, people will know and then
like they'll talk about you behind your back.
Speaker 4 (25:06):
It's nasty.
Speaker 1 (25:07):
Do you may catch the frat fan?
Speaker 4 (25:10):
I didn't catch it. People are still.
Speaker 3 (25:13):
Essentials, dorm essentials now, all right, Amy, our intern go
ahead search.
Speaker 6 (25:17):
Protector extension cords and a lot of dorms actually don't
allow these. But you didn't hear this from me, But
you can hide anything beverages extension cords that you don't
want your ara to see in one of your like
personal duffel bags and the rays and universities can't search
your personal items, so do with that what you will.
(25:40):
Allegedly I've done that, Yeah, We got quarters for when
the laundry machines break, they will, and then we have
beater shoes and jeans.
Speaker 4 (25:51):
This happened to me.
Speaker 6 (25:52):
I showed up to a party and it was acrylic
paint themed acrylic paint which doesn't wash out of your
clothes and your shoes, and they were ruined. But then
I had a pair of genes that I could, you know,
like basically trash. I had it for the rest of
the year. And then this is just really practical multipurpose cleaner.
There will be spills on your carpet, spills and perhaps
(26:14):
bodily fluids and don't even want to talk about it.
Really grows stuff really good. Multipurpose your towels.
Speaker 1 (26:22):
Do you know who your roommate is going to be?
Speaker 9 (26:24):
Now?
Speaker 1 (26:24):
Have you figured out your roommates?
Speaker 6 (26:25):
Oh yeah, I'm living with some of my college radio friends.
We're gonna have a little indie cool apartment. So I'm
really excited and I'm I'm excited to move in.
Speaker 1 (26:34):
Well, thank you for your time here.
Speaker 3 (26:35):
It's not over yet, but thank you so far for
your time here, and good luck with moving into the dorm.
Those are the dorm essentials this morning on Kiss FM.
Speaker 1 (26:43):
On air with Ryan Seacrest.
Speaker 3 (26:49):
Apologize, Timblin and One Republic shout out to Ryan Teddor
Guys all over the He's so good, you know, writes
everything for a lot of people.
Speaker 1 (26:58):
See Chris with You's listening time.
Speaker 3 (27:00):
So we have been just sort of relishing in the
great news that Travis Kelcey and Taylor Swift aren't engaged.
It looked like a traditional proposal from what we saw.
Didn't it look that way in the flowers under that
beautiful artist?
Speaker 2 (27:12):
Yeah, I have to imagine that maybe her mom knew
like he involved her family somehow.
Speaker 1 (27:16):
Well.
Speaker 3 (27:17):
I mean, I feel like he's traditional in the respecting
of parents move, which is right now you go to
the parents and say this is going down.
Speaker 2 (27:27):
I'm not saying that he could do this all on
his own, but the setting is so beautiful and so
spot on towards.
Speaker 3 (27:35):
Guys, how did you get her there? What was all
the the covert operations? I guess that will soon continue
to everybody jumping on yesterday when this news broke just
after our show about the haircut that Travis had about there.
Speaker 1 (27:47):
She was wearing a Ralph Lauren dress. Is what you
keep hearing?
Speaker 2 (27:49):
Black and white striped Ralph Lauren Halt her dress, and
apparently he worked with Kindred Lubeck of Artifacts Fine Jewelry
to design the ring.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
What do I need to know about a ring?
Speaker 2 (28:00):
This a round brilliant cut old mind diamond bezel set in.
Speaker 5 (28:03):
Gold bands are like really in right now?
Speaker 1 (28:08):
Okay, can you break it down for me?
Speaker 2 (28:09):
You're selling like it kind of rounds out a little
bit versus just kind of being a straight all around
and like gold band.
Speaker 4 (28:17):
Bez old is kind of like a vintage vibe.
Speaker 3 (28:20):
What's the diamond? Is it diamond? Not diamond color? It
doesn't look like it's a different color.
Speaker 4 (28:24):
It's definitely diamond color. Aren't there a round brilliant cut?
Like it's beautiful.
Speaker 5 (28:29):
It's like very thin, like my band is very thin,
Like thick bands are really in right now.
Speaker 3 (28:36):
Let's see, I'm trying to zoom in on it. Let
me grab this call. It looks like there's green. Is
that just diamond? That's just a reflection.
Speaker 4 (28:41):
I think that's just the reflection. All the greenery around.
Speaker 1 (28:44):
The greenery around. Ashley's a tailor fan.
Speaker 3 (28:46):
Ashley was your day completely turned upside down with this
breaking news.
Speaker 1 (28:56):
Everybody's doing it.
Speaker 2 (28:57):
Actually, we all celebrated last night, everything, all things.
Speaker 7 (29:01):
This is America's royal wedding.
Speaker 3 (29:04):
You know what's funniest today is as the news was spreading,
to walk into places at work or run into people
and go you heard right?
Speaker 2 (29:12):
You had.
Speaker 3 (29:12):
For those who didn't hear, they thought there was like
bad news. You're about to tell them, but it's meeting.
Speaker 8 (29:18):
Yeah, yeah, And we canceled the meeting.
Speaker 7 (29:21):
We didn't work yesterday.
Speaker 1 (29:23):
What is your job to give you grounds to cancel
meeting for this?
Speaker 8 (29:27):
I work in marketing, but as it's swissy, I give
everyone permission to take the rest.
Speaker 4 (29:31):
Of the week off.
Speaker 1 (29:33):
I would listen.
Speaker 3 (29:34):
Ashley, thank you so much for calling, and congratulations to all. Aliah,
good morning.
Speaker 1 (29:40):
Hi.
Speaker 3 (29:42):
Well here we are. Everybody's all engaged up. Have you
done it yet?
Speaker 8 (29:46):
No?
Speaker 3 (29:47):
Oh my god, no, no, all right, there's the other
one that's not you and me. What was your reaction
to Taylor and Travis getting engaged?
Speaker 8 (29:55):
When I saw, I kid you not, I ran around
my house and I think I screamed at my sister
and my nephew telling them Taylor Swift is engaged and
I almost fell into the pool, which was oh my bad,
but I was screaming. I think I cried a little bit.
I kept just wiping through the pictures.
Speaker 1 (30:16):
They clearly had a photographer there. Yeah, I crew in
on this.
Speaker 2 (30:20):
That's common to have your engagements.
Speaker 3 (30:25):
Champagne, and I wanted what they did to celebrate. Well,
things will continue to be revealed, but ali uh, this
is just good news on the planet. So thank you
very much for reaching out. We love that you listened
to us All Things Tailor here at Caius FM and
have a great day.
Speaker 7 (30:37):
He was, well, thank you, okay, bye.
Speaker 3 (30:40):
Good morning, Thanks for listening. Thanks for streaming on your
smart device wherever you may be. Sisney, Tanya, myself the
back room here, ready and waiting. What is this all about?
Nobody can stand it. Nick Jonas has a beige flag,
says Tanya.
Speaker 4 (30:57):
Yes he does so.
Speaker 5 (30:58):
Nick Jonas was on the talk show Are You Okay,
where he revealed that he only uses his bed with
wife Prianca Chopra Jonas for one reason, and he guesses
actually probably better. You know, He says, I think beds
are for sleeping only. I do not sit on the bed,
I do not eat on the bed. I do not
(31:20):
read a book on the bed. Or watch TV. I
can't do it. So he even said that when his
wife is watching TV in bed, I'll pull up a
seat and sit next to the bed.
Speaker 4 (31:31):
Weird.
Speaker 5 (31:31):
So Prianca is like chilling in the bed watching TV
and Nick pulls a chair up next to her, and
I don't know, the comments are hilarious, but the image
of Nick Jonas pulling up a chair to like to
sit on the side of the bed next to Prianca
while she's watching TV literally just gives me like the shivers.
Speaker 1 (31:49):
Do you know he's right?
Speaker 3 (31:51):
Because first of all, I can never get comfortable with
my pillows sitting up in bed.
Speaker 1 (31:55):
He said his is like.
Speaker 4 (31:56):
A heat issue.
Speaker 5 (31:57):
He runs really hot, and so it's like the minute
he gets in hand just to like go to sleep.
Speaker 2 (32:01):
They have beds where you can adjust temperatures. Now, like you,
I'm sure he's got the means to get whatever bet
he wants.
Speaker 3 (32:07):
Not only does sleep experts say. I read this book
Arianna Huffington wrote about sleep, and the experts say, you're
just supposed to sleep in the bed, right.
Speaker 2 (32:16):
They say, like, don't even have a TV in your room,
things like that, it's for sleep.
Speaker 3 (32:19):
Your brain needs some notes for sleep he's actually smart. Really, yeah,
not supposed to eat so extreme.
Speaker 5 (32:26):
Imagine going on a like the first day with someone
or second date where you go home with them and
you like lay or laying in bed, and he goes
to make you coffee in the morning and he brings
it to you and you're drinking it and then he pulls
up a chair.
Speaker 3 (32:39):
Sitting up is better for coffee drinking as well. Oh,
it's better for the acidity of coffee when it flows
through your esophagus. Nick is onto something, wise, Nick, very wise?
Love it you?
Speaker 1 (32:49):
Speaking of Nick?
Speaker 3 (32:51):
There's others in the group, Yes, Joe and Kevin. You
want to see them, but yes, they eat in their beds.
I'm sure they do. I had a radio music festival.
It's coming fast, guys, I know.
Speaker 2 (33:03):
I was just thinking about, like, well, are we gonna
wear It's like a whole thing now.
Speaker 3 (33:07):
My calendar for the month is September overfloweth I at
rded Music Veessel right there.
Speaker 4 (33:12):
Yeah, September is busy. September is booked for me.
Speaker 3 (33:15):
Weekend, solid, isn't it. Yeah, it's because we're quote back
to things. Things are back.
Speaker 4 (33:20):
Yeah, it's moving, it is really moving.
Speaker 3 (33:25):
Hit that music let's play a match game for Jonas
Brothers tickets. Stacey and Almarada, good morning.
Speaker 7 (33:31):
Good morning. How are you.
Speaker 3 (33:33):
I'm a well, I'll thank you for asking. So, Stacey,
you're contested number one for match game. I'm about to
get contested number two. Here hang on, okay, Hi, Ada,
it's Ryan and Sisney, Tanya La Ada, thank you for listening.
Speaker 1 (33:45):
Hi, good morning, good morning.
Speaker 3 (33:47):
You're contested number two. So we'll start with Stacy, then
we'll go to Ada. We're playing the match game. Guys,
you're gonna win Jonasbury's tickets. If you win, it's very easy.
We'll give you a phrase with a blanket. Whoever gets
the most matches with our panel wins. We'll start with you, Stacy,
then we'll come to you at us. To just sit tight, Stacy,
yours is blank. Don't say it out loud. Just think blank, Jonas, blank, Jonas,
(34:11):
just think about that.
Speaker 1 (34:14):
Blank Jonas. Okay, all right, what'd you say? Nick? Okay? Sisiny? Nick?
Speaker 3 (34:25):
There's one, Tanya, I said Kevin Ruby Jonas I said
Joe tops Joe. Okay, so one Nick? All right, hold on,
I'm not so sure that was fair. There's only a
couple of choice. Handful choices was really just kind of
(34:45):
stock the deck. Let's tell as he goes Ada, here's
yours is blank chip? Lot more chips than brothers? Jonas
f y I, so I don't know about this, Aida,
Yours is blank chip. Let's see what you do with it,
blank chip. Don't say it, don't say it. I'm sorry,
that's sorry.
Speaker 1 (35:00):
There the panel's done. What'd you say? Lais chips? Sany
I said chocolate chocolate chip? Got it? I don't even
think that, Tanya.
Speaker 4 (35:11):
I said tortilla, the whole.
Speaker 3 (35:15):
Variety of them. Okay, Ruby, did you narrow it down
to your brand?
Speaker 4 (35:19):
Potato?
Speaker 1 (35:21):
All comes down with tubs? Tubs? Did you say last chip?
Tortilla chip? I rule not fair.
Speaker 3 (35:29):
Everybody's jous Brother's tickets, Yeah, Jonas, because you do Kevin,
Nick or Joe.
Speaker 1 (35:38):
There is a bonus. Yes, so what you guys?
Speaker 4 (35:40):
It's fine.
Speaker 1 (35:41):
They both win?
Speaker 7 (35:42):
Yeah, incredible, thank you.
Speaker 4 (35:45):
Yes, you're very welcome.
Speaker 3 (35:47):
Aiden, We love you both. Jonah's brothers tickets they're coming.
You're ready, you're going, you too, hold on, you can't
do that.
Speaker 1 (35:56):
It's not fair. I thought it's a fun way to
change it up a little bit. Great.
Speaker 3 (35:59):
By the way, I did not have fun. I mean
I had fun, But this is not fair. You have
to be Yea.
Speaker 1 (36:06):
Jonas.
Speaker 4 (36:06):
You got Nick, Kevin, Joe Chip.
Speaker 1 (36:08):
You also have the other one potato poker.
Speaker 3 (36:11):
No, but you could have You could not tortilla, you
could have done brands, you could have done other things.
Speaker 1 (36:17):
By the way, I have bagel chip in my head.
Speaker 3 (36:23):
All right, so difficult, not fair. I mean, if I
were a parent right now, what would it be? Well,
I would be right if you try to be fair
to all the kids.
Speaker 1 (36:33):
All right?
Speaker 4 (36:34):
On air with Ryan Secrets.
Speaker 3 (36:38):
Na Kis if m Dodger tickets are next. So the

Speaker 4 (37:03):
I don't remember what she said after that.
Speaker 3 (37:05):
I feel bad now, Oh, okay, but she said it
twenty times in that report.
Speaker 4 (37:09):
Yes, oh you said a bunch of times.
Speaker 3 (37:11):
Yeah, twenty times, twenty times, really twenty times twenty We
had stat statisticians look at it, statticians. How do you
say that? That's staticians? Statticians. It's not easy statisticians, staticians.
I don't say statician easily. I say testetician easier, esthetician, statician, aesthetician.
Speaker 1 (37:31):
All right, anyway, anyways, let's play Terry. Here you go.
Speaker 3 (37:36):
Oh yeah, Ryan, but Tanya saying b D time.
Speaker 1 (37:45):
She kept saying it.

I was like, wow, oh.
Speaker 1 (37:51):
It's great listening to you guys in the morning. Oh kay,
thank you, thank you for the chuckle. Bye.
Speaker 3 (38:00):
By the way, Terry, I hope everyone listens like that.
That's what we want to happen. That's how we want
the emotion to feel. Thank you, Terry, South Carolina. Love
you all right. So Keiky and the eight when I
appreciated the five and dollars back to school cash last week,
here's Kei Key in the eight one. A.
Speaker 10 (38:15):
Hi, guys, it's Kikey shut out to iHeartMedia for giving
out the five hundred dollars that I just want. I'm
so grateful because at work, I'm so stressed out. The
CEOs left whole bunch of managers leaving, so it's very chaotic.
Speaker 4 (38:33):
I'm very stressed out.
Speaker 10 (38:36):
So that means I can finally go on a mini
vacation probably Yo s Amitor Seguay four tenth camping with
my girlfriend.
Speaker 1 (38:44):
Love that.
Speaker 3 (38:45):
I mean every time we get to give away money,
we just love doing it. We're gonna keep doing it.
Paining your bills is coming back as well. It's all
good stuff. Thank you for listening. Glad that works out
for you. And Beth in Montana likes it when we
make fun of each other. Well, guess what bet we

Speaker 4 (39:00):
Hi, It's Beth from Lolo, Montana.
Speaker 11 (39:03):
I just want to say I enjoy listening to you guys, Ryan, Sisiny,
Tanya and the rest, and it's funny and refreshing to
hear you guys rib on each other to say it
nicely and the reactions that come out. It just shows
how genuinely you care for one another.
Speaker 1 (39:26):
And we appreciate that. It is true.
Speaker 3 (39:28):

then the day rolls on. Kisses your soundtrack all day.
So have you heard about manifestation burnout? Do you have
(39:51):
manifestation burnout?
Speaker 1 (39:52):
What is it?
Speaker 7 (39:53):
So?
Speaker 2 (39:54):
I feel like let's start with manifestation to begin with.
I feel like everyone's always pushing manifest to manifest, stay positive,
manifest that it will come if you almost wish it
right or do you know all of that, But maybe
you kind of can burn out on that. And it's
called manifestation burnout, which basically when all those feel good
(40:16):
rituals that you might do, maybe it's the vision boarding,
maybe it's mantras, maybe it's just manifesting or writing affirmations,
it just becomes stale. You do it so much that
it doesn't mean anything anymore, and you burn out from
it and the magic fades fast on these quote manifestations
that you've been doing for years and years and years,
(40:38):
and I'm talking like years, like going like five years
deep of manifesting the same thing over and over and
over and over and over again.
Speaker 1 (40:44):
If it doesn't happen, give it up.
Speaker 2 (40:46):
That's the thing, though, It's like, maybe change the course.
And they're saying that it's also has something to do
with always living in the future, and so your mindset
is then stuck in this.
Speaker 3 (40:57):
You know, it's the future focused president tell me to
manifest the future. Conflicting reports from the same people.
Speaker 2 (41:05):
You would think that something so innocent saying like I'm
going to have an amazing day wouldn't be.
Speaker 3 (41:11):
Bad, But I think I don't know. I mean, I'm
for it. I'm for putting things out there to make
them come true. But I also feel like if five
years go by and you've been putting it out there,
you need to change the headline.
Speaker 4 (41:24):
Sure, change the headline.
Speaker 2 (41:25):
I don't know if you have to give up on
said manifestation, but they're saying that to fix it, I guess, right,
is to pause, simplify, and realign what actually feels authentic
to you. Because maybe what felt authentic to you five
years ago doesn't feel authentic to you.
Speaker 3 (41:40):
Now because you've all that can be the case, and
you grow and you learn that can be the case.
Speaker 2 (41:44):
Yeah, but I found it. So I found this whole
article so interesting. It was manifestation burnout. I was like, wow,
I feel like that's a real thing.
Speaker 3 (41:51):
I'm pessimistic on that unmanifesting in the first place.
