and then I'm going in for Hernie a surgery Saturday morning.
We are Oh my goodness, that's right after jingle Ball. Oh,
HERNI is surgery.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Yeah? I hope not.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
The recovery after that.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Well that's the problem. I'm not a big recovery.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
Or yeah, no, you don't. You're not patient.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
I keep asking, can I work out what's the downtime?
So I think by hopefully Sunday, I'll beat in my
mind by Sunday. By Sunday, I'm not so sure, but
I'm hoping that it's not a long sort of like,
I'm not playing on missing anything at work, and I'm
not playing on missing too much of exercise. That's in

(01:16):
my mind.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
What is the what about your doctor's mind? What does
the doctor say?

Speaker 2 (01:21):
I'm going to talk to the doctor later, try to
find out what the real real is.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
Do you need like some games to play? Do you
need like cozy fuzzy socks? Yeah, cozy socks?

Speaker 1 (01:32):
That sounds nice, sound nice recovery?

Speaker 2 (01:35):
I think games?

Speaker 5 (01:36):
No games, socks just where it is very fun. You
can play by yourself, all right.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
Hernia surgery typically four to six weeks.

Speaker 6 (01:44):
All right, So yeah, it doesn't seem like I'm gonna
be hitting the gym Sunday morning.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
No, I need to ask more questions.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Don't know post op.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Tonday. Next time anybody says they're in surgery, don't say
can you help? I think that you that that didn't
take qualified doctor, that needs.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
To No, you know what I mean. I didn't mean
like can I help with the surgery? I meant like
you need a ride?

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Do you need to pick you up this?

Speaker 4 (02:08):
Do you need something like food delivered?

Speaker 5 (02:11):
Like whatever?

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Food sounds good?

Speaker 1 (02:14):
See, you do need help? Just take the hose, socks
and food.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
What were you getting? Oh, don't get met cookies? Okay, don't.
You don't know was big gooey cookies.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
Favorite cookie.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
My favorite thing to do in a moment of sadness
after that would be to have the cookies that don't
do that. Yeah, but if you want my dress, I'll
make sure you have it to not do that. You
didn't get to it got around a lot of staff
all week, but so far I think just left here,
Sofia or interurn in Michayla's thanks here.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
How was your Thanksgiving? In turn, Sofia?

Speaker 7 (02:52):
It was good.

Speaker 8 (02:53):
It was kind of chaotic having the entire family back
under the same roof, but it was good. Are of
actually broke halfway through cooking our Thanksgiving dinner, so.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
We had to pivot.

Speaker 8 (03:05):
We had to take everything to our aunt's house because
that's where we were hosting. And the turkey was already
in the oven, and I know, I had my long
awaited beef Wellington that everybody was so excited for, and
I had to just put my beef Wellington in with
the turkey at the same heat. But they cook at
different heats. Oh, it ended up burning to a char. No, yeah,

(03:27):
so there was no beef Wellington.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Remember this. She went to this whole thing about she's
gonna tell you something new. This beef Wellington. We said,
if it goes well, bring it in for us and
we'll eat some. I don't know what kind of penalty
or reward that was, but we wanted to partake. Turns
out someone sabotaged are breaking down a tragedy. Yeah. Were
you relieved in a way?

Speaker 8 (03:48):
Honestly a little bit, because I'm like, okay, at least
the turkey was fine, so it took off a little
bit of stress. But I was excited, Like every night
before Thanksgiving, I would like do some research and like
read different recipes on like how to make it in
stuf to really perfect it.

Speaker 7 (04:01):
And then it burned and I was like, the good.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
News is it is beef Wellington season. You got all
months you can meet beef in some Wellington.

Speaker 7 (04:08):
I'm excited. I'm going to beef it up.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Doesn't have to stop there to give it a dry
run like December eighteenth or something, you know, I will.

Speaker 7 (04:15):
That's actually my mom's birthday.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Wow, well obviously, and that's why you should make her
beef Wellington because she would like that. You've heard the
twelve days of Beef Wellington. It's a great holiday. Story
Mikaela The Twelve Days of Beef Wellington. How was your Thanksgiving?

Speaker 1 (04:34):
It was fun.

Speaker 9 (04:35):
We hosted a little friend's Thanksgiving it my apartment with
my roommate. And we did have a little debate though,
because I wanted to put the dessert out right after
we ate, and she wanted to wait.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Well, she's right, how long?

Speaker 4 (04:49):
No, No, she's not right.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
No, I say, God, put it out right after.

Speaker 6 (04:53):
Yeah, yeah, we did that right now, It's there, and
then you can wait if you don't want to eat
it right away.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Wait. The display is to wait too, because you're going
to digest first of all, digest that hodge podge of
stuff you just put in your belly. Breathe a little.

Speaker 6 (05:08):
Bit because you want to get these people out.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Of your house too.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
Well, I don't think so. It is a friends giving.
That's different.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
I guess.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
Yeah, friends givings, you don't want them to leave. I
know that.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
It's true.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
Interesting, Yeah, family out, friends come on, guys, stay a
little bit longer.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
So true.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
I know that. So I'm saying, you want to extend
this day. And in my mind, well, I told you.
What we did is we ate and then we FaceTime
people and then we got together for dessert.

Speaker 6 (05:36):
Okay, what does your hat mean?

Speaker 5 (05:40):
What is it?

Speaker 2 (05:41):
Doa? I think it means let's go. You don't know
quite sure. I'm hoping it means something not bad.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
Have no idea.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
You get that tattoo in a different language and you
don't like you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
I think it's Italian. Let's go, let's get it. Come on,
that kind of thing. And if I'm wrong, I apologize
for anybody's seeing it right now.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
I hope that's what it means.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
Yeah, we can look it up between now and the
next break here, but that's what I was told a
time for. Let's go, let's get it. Take on the day.
Come on, I got this? Yeah, all right, we'll find
out in the second. I guess. So you I have
a ball cap on. This is diage for da for.
I believe you know, when you get something you're not

(06:30):
quite sure, you think you know what it says, you
think you know what it means, make a tattoo of it,
or you put a shirt on or a hat. I'm
told that doge for is it tying for? You got this?
Let's get this, come on, let's go.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Okay, what is it you said.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
Sentiment is I think it's you got this?

Speaker 6 (06:48):
You got come on, you got this like before a workout, Okay,
I got I got it?

Speaker 2 (06:56):
Poor a big day. No, Dow's your thoughts do means
come on, see I'm googling. Dodja means come on, let's
go and for strengthen power. See you guys want to be.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
A part of the Dodge forts up?

Speaker 1 (07:14):
Of course?

Speaker 6 (07:15):
Yeah, motivating me staring at it's giving a new line.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Of gear by r s.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
Your your gym gear, Yeah, give me my gym gear,
life gear. It's like when says, yeah, you're not Italian.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
Yeah, it's like, oh, you have to now categorize me.
Is not Italian?

Speaker 6 (07:40):
Like all of a sudden, I mean like people, you
know that's he speaks Spanish, makes sense.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
Italiano e o Ryan, Like, come on, that's Italian? Does
your forts up? You watch? Wait?

Speaker 3 (08:00):
My new ankle weight slides everything.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
Wheel, my wheel.

Speaker 4 (08:11):
I'm gonna go go home and say that to my
mother in law. She'll be impressed.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
Is Shealan?

Speaker 9 (08:17):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (08:17):
She was raised in Italy?

Speaker 1 (08:19):
Really yeah, she speaks at the wedding.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
Uh why did she speak it time to me?

Speaker 1 (08:23):
I thought, I don't think she knew you spoke.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
I didn't have this hat back. I thought she's not
from Italy.

Speaker 5 (08:30):
She was born in Iran but was raised in Italy,
like when she was very very young for some time.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
When you renew your valves, I have a great talking point.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
Yeah, definitely do for see Chrest here. All right, So
just looking ahead after seven o'clock. Got some TikTok trends.
The reason I want to bring this up is because
I think many people, a lot of people, they go
to TikTok they think they've got a new little health
hack or a little remedy hack. No, I like the

(09:01):
word hack. Couldn't think another word that is synonymous for hacks.
So yeah, tip or that's much better than what I
was doing, thank you. And there are some that just
strike me as what I didn't think these like eating
packing peanuts, Like people are eating packing peanuts. Why this

(09:23):
is the thing. No, but if it's on TikTok as
a season. A lot of these things, but there are
three that I just need to bring up on the air,
I'd be an irresponsible person. So that's on the way.
That time you're making Robbie, uh do a little December challenge,

(09:43):
I wonder if we wouldn't want to get on this
December challenge?

Speaker 1 (09:45):
What is it? Yes?

Speaker 4 (09:46):
Okay, So I found this grid.

Speaker 5 (09:48):
I found it on Instagram and I was like, this
is so me and so I took a picture and
I sent it to him and I said, We're going
to do this every single day. It's basically a marriage
challenge thirty days of connecting intentionally and every day there's
a a little tiny task that you do with your partner.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
Does he ever ever roll his eyes?

Speaker 1 (10:05):
Ever?

Speaker 10 (10:06):
No?

Speaker 6 (10:07):
So you say we're gonna do this every single day?
Or do you say can we? Or do you want
to do this? That's support That got me like, that's
where for a moment.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Oh gosh, another one.

Speaker 5 (10:19):
Well, it's not like I'm saying, let's do this thing
that only I want to do.

Speaker 4 (10:23):
This is gonna help our marriage.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
Actually, you're saying, let's do this thing that only I
want to do that you're gonna do with me.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
Yeah, that's what you're saying.

Speaker 4 (10:31):
No, he likes these things, does he? I think?

Speaker 11 (10:33):
So?

Speaker 3 (10:34):
I don't know if you know, he might.

Speaker 7 (10:38):
I think he does.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
Assume he does. I assume he doesn't want to rock
the boat. Then maybe he's playing along for the moment. No,
just as a friendly guidance counselor from over here.

Speaker 3 (10:53):
Too many, too often can become a problem.

Speaker 4 (10:57):
Well no, okay, but like they're cute. So on Monday,
hear what I'm saying?

Speaker 1 (11:01):
No, she doesn't. It's not too often.

Speaker 4 (11:03):
What's one one little thing a day?

Speaker 3 (11:05):
Knowledge that you heard one thing I said.

Speaker 4 (11:09):
I hear you, but I don't agree with you.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
But moving on to the next thing without acknowledging something
someone has said makes that someone who's saying it think
you're not listening.

Speaker 3 (11:21):
Nothing from your guidance counselor.

Speaker 5 (11:23):
Oh my gosh, okay, daddy, e.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
I vomited in my mouth everywhere? Oh I hate Why
did you do that?

Speaker 5 (11:51):
Something reprimanded by my dad?

Speaker 3 (11:57):
Your dad, by your dad. That's get weirder.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
I want this moment to end.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
I wanted to go away. Do you want to.

Speaker 4 (12:11):
Do you the first challenge?

Speaker 2 (12:13):
No, we've lost the moment. Do you know when the
moment passes past, I'll be tomorrow. We'll find out what
all the things about that challenge? Right, but just needs
what are you gonna do? Take a break and you

(12:37):
can call me Ryan if you when you walk into
a store. While shopping this season, this holiday season, you
make a bee line to the spots we're gonna find
the best deals, and that is the back left corner.
Best deals are in the back left corner of the store.
Retail stores they use the same trick that supermarkets do.
They put the high ticket items on the right where

(12:59):
we naturally look or is to find the less expensive items.
To find the less expensive items, hit the back left.
If you if you just naturally gawk at something, you
gawk right, or it's harder for me to gauf.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
I always go right every single but.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
I sleep left. I sleep left.

Speaker 6 (13:20):
Everyone's natural tendency is to go right. So whenever we're
going to like a movie theater or like Sammer, Michael's
always like go left, go left, because like nobody will
go left, and there'll be more seats available, there'll be
less people.

Speaker 2 (13:31):
It's very interesting. I I go left to sleep, I
go right even and out, and I don't like right.
I go back to left. I go heavy on left
all night.

Speaker 4 (13:42):
It doesn't hurt your back.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
It hurts everything. Everything hurt everything exactly.

Speaker 3 (13:51):
Everything hurts as you wake up.

Speaker 1 (13:54):
You don't know how you have a pain.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
Why so much pain.

Speaker 3 (13:57):
Why is my thigh hurt when I sleep left?

Speaker 1 (14:00):
It's weird?

Speaker 2 (14:02):
Uh? And today's quote, it's.

Speaker 6 (14:06):
Only baggage if you take it with you, leave it behind, baby, and.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
Drop those bags. You're kiss after seven o'clock? Do you
rub banana peals on your face every day? I'll tell
you why I'm asking if you do stay with us.
If you don't stay with us, I would do a
lot of people behind you, A lot of people behind

(14:32):
you in those other rooms back there. First, the headliness
FM headlines with sicin well you.

Speaker 6 (14:39):
Know, eastbound lanes of the ten are shut down after
a deadly crash this morning in mid City, possibly related
to street racing.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
More on that coming up.

Speaker 6 (14:49):
In traffic, the La County Board of Supervisors advance a
plan to ban law enforcement, including ice, from hiding their
identities during operations. Costco is now one of the largest
companies to sue the federal government over terrafs, hoping to
get a refund if the Supreme Court declares them illegal.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
And ski season.

Speaker 6 (15:10):
Will officially begin tomorrow at Bear Mountain and Friday at
snow Summit Sisney.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
You met Melody right, Yeah I.

Speaker 6 (15:19):
Did, and she really you know, made an impact on
me because she was sharing her story with me, which
I'm sure she'll share with you right now. And she
listens to our show every day, and she said that
it kind of is like what helped her get through
her cancer.

Speaker 2 (15:37):
Hey, Melody, good morning.

Speaker 11 (15:40):
Hi, good morning. How are you guys?

Speaker 2 (15:43):
We are good.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
What's Sisney like at a gala?

Speaker 11 (15:47):
Gorge queen everything? Yeah exactly. I mean, come on, I've
seen Tanya in person a few years ago. Also, Gorge
out of Jonah's Brothers concert somewhere. You can find both
of us always.

Speaker 12 (16:01):
And that's so.

Speaker 11 (16:02):
I don't know about you, Ryan. Maybe you and I
have to meet them person too, and then I'll put
a gauge on YouTube. But you're a king.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
I need I need a label. Here. You got George
one and Gorge two over there, right, So, Melo, you
are you in remission? Tell us about your cancer?

Speaker 11 (16:19):
Yes? Yes, so I am three now, basically three and
a half years cancer free and remission.

Speaker 1 (16:27):
Yeah exactly.

Speaker 11 (16:29):
So. I was diagnosed at twenty four years old with
stage two Hotchkin lymphoma and I was treated at City
of Hope. Anytime I would ask someone where should I go,
They're like, that's the that's the Music hospital. I was like, well,
that's where I'm going, And honestly, thanks to them and
the treatment that I had, I'm here today talking with
you guys, and yeah, as Cisini said, I listened. I've

(16:51):
been listening to kiss EF them since I was kid.
I'm twenty eight years old now, and you know, listeners
can agree with me. You guys are with us to
our ups and downs, our greatest moments life and sometimes not,
and this would be one of them. Because when I
was treated in pandemic restrictions meaning I couldn't have anyone
with me in my eight and a half hour I
guess journey at the hospital, so my dad and I

(17:12):
was like my best friend and my mom too, but
she was at home getting stuff ready. We would listen
to kiss FM the mornings when I would go to treatment,
just to get a sense of normalcy. And I had
to tell Sisny that when I saw her in person,
because of the impact you've had on my life and
you ryan for other situations in my life, but specifically
that for sure.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
Well, thank you Melody for letting us come along and
glad we were there to feel like you had a
friend around and I'm just most happy. I've been front
row for a battle with cancer recently in my family,
So I'm so happy that you have this story to
tell us about the treatment at City of Hope and

(17:53):
it working and being three and a half years of
cancer free. That is a phenomenal victory or something here.
I'm just so happy to hear, so happy to hear.

Speaker 11 (18:02):
That, thank you, thank you. Yeah, And it's just incredible,
like your guys' voices even though we hear it every day,
just having that with me, sistany notes. I talked to
Sistney about a lot of it. I talked to her
about jingle Ball Made You Run. It was like a
whole conversation and Systney's like, yeah, you need to come

(18:23):
on there and we need to have you on.

Speaker 2 (18:26):
Yeah, yeah, thank you and hello to your mom and
your dad because I could tell that they are very
special people in your life and you guys have a
great relationship. Melanie, let's meet so I can get a
label here. I mean, come on, got to figure out out.

Speaker 11 (18:38):
Listen, Ryan, I'm going to be at jingle Ball with
my dad, so I know it's a crazy you guys,
I'm literally listen shout out to the lineup. Y'all ate
but I'm so I told Sisney this. I discovered faide
and treatment and I have yet to see this guy
live because I was in keymol The dates didn't work out,

(18:59):
and I told my my fate is doing jingle Ball.
You know how much this I'm not even Latina and
I love this man. I was him for Halloween. I
saw my costume, I was like, we got to go
see him. So Ryan, if we can make jingle Ball happen.
I didn't get a make a wish. I was too
old for a make a wish, but you know what

(19:19):
You've had such an you and faith. If we can
make let's make that make a wish happen. But I mean, Ryan,
I want to say I mentioned you in my college application.
You are the reason that I'm on this journey in
my career. Not even joking. I will show you that
in person. But yeah, You've had such an impact on me. Man.

Speaker 2 (19:40):
Thank you. Did you get into your school?

Speaker 12 (19:43):
Yes?

Speaker 8 (19:43):
I did.

Speaker 11 (19:44):
I want to us you were in my USC application.

Speaker 12 (19:47):
Maybe you were the gorge part that was missing or
not haveing tickets I got to I could only get
two tickets for me and.

Speaker 11 (19:59):
My dad, My poor mom. I'm like, it'll be on Hulu. Girl,

me and my dad. Sorry, are gonna be there, okay mom?

Speaker 2 (20:15):

full head of hair. Me you too, you too? But photo.

Speaker 1 (20:45):

Speaker 6 (20:46):
I was like, she made such an impact on me
when I met her for I mean, we chat it
for a while, but still it was amazing.

Retailoring everything. Speaking of Jonahs brothers, I will be hosting
dedicating a little cement to the Jonas brothers in a
few hours to put their hands in cement and have
a little handprint there in Hollywood and the Hollywood Walk
of Fame.

Speaker 1 (21:39):
That's exciting.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
Kevin Jonas will be on the morrow, very excited about it.
Thank you guys for inviting me.

Speaker 4 (21:44):
I love Kevin Jones.

Speaker 2 (21:49):
There's a lot of us, so he shared.

Speaker 4 (21:52):
We can share him, but he's my favorite Jonas brother.

Speaker 2 (21:55):
Okay, well they're also the other two coming.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
I love them all, don't It's kiss now.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
A lot of people will use TikTok, and we use
it for different things. It's comic relief, it's rabbit whole time.
You can get food ingredients, cooking whatever. But how about
health advice. It's there, A lot of it's there. Some
of it's good, some it's not. Some of the things
that struck me recently, I was looking at some of
the health advice on TikTok. One is about rubbing a

(22:25):
banana peel on your face. Think about that. It supposedly
brightened your skin, and reduces inflammation. I'm down for those
two things. That seems like a good idea. It's like,
whatever it takes. A lot of people would say, right,
whatever it takes. If it's a banana peel, great, But
does it work? They say it gets rid of wrinkles,
all right, give me banana peels. Yeah, does it work?

(22:47):
It does not, and it could cause it gross. Well,
I just looked this stuff up to find out. All
you gotta do is a quick chat GPT on any
of these things if it's worth doing it. Right. Another
one eating packing peanuts. Those are the styrofoamy things.

Speaker 1 (23:04):
Right, yeah, so weird they dissolve peanuts? Okay, oh.

Speaker 2 (23:09):
Safety eat if they dissolved.

Speaker 4 (23:12):
Oh, I'm just saying.

Speaker 5 (23:13):
I learned that instead of throwing them in the trash,
you can put water on them and they'll dissolve.

Speaker 3 (23:18):
And some people think they have potato starts in them,
so as you'd.

Speaker 1 (23:20):
Eat them, they're not.

Speaker 2 (23:22):
No, it's not some people are talking about doing this
is not safe. They're biodegradable, doesn't mean they're edible. It's
bad for bad for the system.

Speaker 1 (23:31):
But why would you want to eat them?

Speaker 2 (23:34):
Like TikTok?

Speaker 4 (23:35):
Yeah, and like think about it. They're like, it's like
crunchy popcorn.

Speaker 2 (23:39):
No, great, You're not supposed to make it sound appetizing.

Speaker 5 (23:45):
I'm just saying I can understand why people started doing it.

Speaker 2 (23:48):
All right, how about bees? And this is applying lip
bomb lip balm to your eyelids. You put birds bees
on your eyelids to create a tingling sensation and produce
a high or increased alertness. Oh no, I don't do that,
they're saying on TikTok. That's what happens is it's safe.
It's not safe. It can cause rediness, swelling information just
putting that stuff on your eyelids. This does not seem

(24:09):
like you're's a.

Speaker 6 (24:09):
Touch your own No, I'm like it even like burns
sometimes on my lips. I can't imagine my eyelids.

Speaker 2 (24:15):
Just go the extra mile and chat GPTAR look some
of this stuff up before you try it, because while
it sounds appetizing, not so good for the system. Lehanna,
don't stop a music it's kiss off m Tanya is
a trending report in a second Tanya.

Speaker 5 (24:29):
There's been a lot of scuttle over the status of
Alex Earl's relationship with Braxton Barrios, and she's finally given
us an answer.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
Okay, now, jingle Ball is coming up on Friday night.
I just want to think about this. If you want
your tickets to get to kissfm dot com. We have
some to win after eight, we have some to win
after nine. Then we're into Thursday and Friday mornings and
then it is time to launch. So if you've been
putting it off, get it done. Make sure you activate
those tany trend let's go.

Speaker 5 (24:57):
Influencer Alex Earl has been dating Houston Texans football player
Braxton Barrio since twenty twenty three. Okay, but there's been
a lot of speculation that the two of them has
have split as of late. So Alex Earl just competed
on this last season of Dancing with the Stars. She
came in second place to Robert Irwin. But throughout the

(25:17):
course of the season, Alex's boyfriend, Braxton never once made
it to the ballroom to root his girlfriend on during
the competition. Even zach Efron, who never goes to anything,
came out to support his brother Dylan, So people were
thinking that maybe the two of them had split up,
but she responded to a social media fans comment saying, ugh,

(25:40):
I hope you and Braxton are still together. Alex replied,
and she said he couldn't come because of football.

Speaker 2 (25:48):
However, that doesn't say anything, that does it.

Speaker 5 (25:50):
Okay, That's that's what I thought, because I'm like, Dancing
with the Stars is on Tuesday nights. Football games are Thursday,
Sunday and Monday, so Tuesday feels like a perfect timing.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
He's good looking. I'm just zooming in on this picture.

Speaker 1 (26:05):
Yeah, he's cute and he plays football.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
She had a neck like that. That's a neck, isn't it.

Speaker 1 (26:11):
First of all, she's gorgeous.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
She is gorgeous. Yeah, I mean she but I mean
everybody knows she's gorgeous. They see her in a lot
of advilaces. I've not seen much of him.

Speaker 1 (26:19):
Oh right, what was the question you got, fly track?

Speaker 5 (26:25):
Why if you're flaying football, can't you Tuesday seems like
the perfect night because you're not Monday you play football,
Thursday Sunday or Monday playing football?

Speaker 2 (26:33):
I mean, whatever you got like practice travel talk about it?
Does she have a podcast if you want to talk
about she talk about it?

Speaker 4 (26:39):
Well, maybe she will.

Speaker 2 (26:41):
All right, Well, thank you for the trending report.

Speaker 4 (26:44):
All's good with them apparently, all right.

Speaker 2 (26:47):
Yeah, I gotta know more about this. And he's got
a great suit. He's got it in the picture you're
showing me. He's got his beautiful lavender slash pink suit
and a real nice necklace. Game.

Speaker 4 (26:57):
Yes he does. Yeah, you're right.

Speaker 2 (27:00):
That would run on jingle all night.

Speaker 1 (27:02):
Oh, I can't wait the tea.

Speaker 2 (27:05):
He has multiple chains, so what I'm saying, Yeah, I
might do a chain stack. Do you know two chains? Yeah,
I might go be on Yeah, Ryan's last number one
at music station. So jingle ball tickets in a few minutes, Tony,
how many beverages do you have? You've got one with
a straw, You've got one with a bottle. What else

(27:26):
is going on over there? To GetUp to go to
the bathroom yet? Which no bathroom?

Speaker 1 (27:30):
Very bad.

Speaker 5 (27:31):
I have my coffee, I have my bone broth, and
I have water, So I have three bone broth.

Speaker 2 (27:36):
That's that one. Yeah, someone told me about a protein
bar that's got bone broth in it.

Speaker 4 (27:43):
What is it?

Speaker 2 (27:45):
Oh, I'll look it up. What's the name of it
is that we don't know? Yeah, you know, when you
wear somebody you're like, oh, send me a photo of
that and they do.

Speaker 3 (27:53):
Well, I have not looked at it yet and gotten
the name, but I will share the Well.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
Go into this person's name. Okay, they are called Prima.
All right, I've never I've not tried him.

Speaker 10 (28:07):
Here.

Speaker 2 (28:07):
It looks like this rema.

Speaker 1 (28:09):
Prima apparently brand.

Speaker 2 (28:13):
Okay, well you want to next time you see it,
grab some and let's do it.

Speaker 1 (28:16):
Bring them in.

Speaker 4 (28:17):
Yeah, you bet you.

Speaker 2 (28:18):
Because you know I have a protein maar thing like,
I don't eat meat, candy, I don't need desserts. But man,
if there's a cacao or chocolate or peanut butter, protein bar,
I can't stop.

Speaker 3 (28:27):
I have two at a time.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
All right, now, Sophia, get over here, now, our intern,
come on, let's talk about it. Remember that guy is
Skeletor was that what we called him?

Speaker 6 (28:39):
Yeah, because he was just like a skeleton for Halloween,
and that's how they met.

Speaker 3 (28:42):
You met him on a campus at U see.

Speaker 7 (28:44):
Riverside, Yes, at a Halloween party.

Speaker 3 (28:46):
That's right, Skeletor. It's all coming back to me.

Speaker 10 (28:49):
Now.

Speaker 2 (28:50):
Has there been date number two? You thought that it
was going so well after date number one? Has there
been skeletor too?

Speaker 1 (28:56):
There has fortunately the Wow, what about three four?

Speaker 7 (29:01):
Yes, there's been actually three and four.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
Has he taken off his costume?

Speaker 7 (29:10):
Thankfully? Yes? Thankfully? Yes?

Speaker 2 (29:12):
Okay, now this is serious.

Speaker 8 (29:16):
Yeah, I mean we're getting there. It's not like super serious,
but we're definitely getting there. Our second date, we went
to the Mission in Festival of Lights in downtown Riverside
and it was super fun.

Speaker 4 (29:26):
Oh, it's so nice there, all the.

Speaker 8 (29:29):
Christmas lights and they have like really cute hot cocoa
and it's in downtown. So we took a stroll, a
stroll stroll Christmas lights.

Speaker 1 (29:40):
That sounds nice? Yeah, or what else?

Speaker 2 (29:45):
What else?

Speaker 8 (29:45):
And then we actually went to go see Wicked, which
was pretty.

Speaker 1 (29:49):
Good, incredible.

Speaker 8 (29:50):
Yes, he hadn't seen the first one yet, so we
had to watch the first one obviously, and then okay,
we're gonna go. And I told him I was like,
where a green sweater? And he was like, why am
I wearing green? And I'm like, just wear green, don't
ask questions. And then I wore a team of sweat
were already.

Speaker 1 (30:07):
I love it.

Speaker 7 (30:07):
So we were Alpha Blang Glenna. But that was really fun.

Speaker 8 (30:09):
And then we also went to like BJ's and shared
a Pazooki.

Speaker 2 (30:14):
Yeah, this is on the verge of time.

Speaker 8 (30:20):
Yeah, this is all him yet not yet, but I'll
suggest that next you should app.

Speaker 2 (30:25):
That is a game changer. Cold Stone Creamery dates are
game changing. Okay, does that bring up to speed?

Speaker 7 (30:31):
Yeah pretty much. It's been going pretty good.

Speaker 1 (30:33):
What would you say his green flags are?

Speaker 8 (30:36):
Okay, honestly, he has so many. Every time he picks
me up, because yeah, he picks me up. Every time
he picks me up. He gets outside of the car
and like always make sure to open the car door.

Speaker 4 (30:46):
If that's nice, that's nice.

Speaker 8 (30:47):
And I've noticed that he's very protective over his younger sister,
which is a big green flag for me.

Speaker 7 (30:57):
And then he just like pays for everything. He has no.

Speaker 8 (31:01):
Like a very small Instagram following, which in my opinion
is a green flag.

Speaker 6 (31:06):
Yeah okay, then he doesn't have a lot of followers
on Instagram.

Speaker 2 (31:10):
Oh oh okay, yeah, he's not so Instagram.

Speaker 8 (31:12):
You know, he's like he has TikTok, but he's not
on Instagram really or any other social media.

Speaker 2 (31:20):
So can I give you a little feedback? Yes, Michael,
now have your attention on this. He piped up over there.

Speaker 7 (31:32):
I'm curious to hear your feedback.

Speaker 2 (31:34):
Well, here it is sounds great. This guy eskeletur. But
I just want you to make note of the things
that are his green flags now and make sure he
continues with them, standing up at the table, opening the
car door, like those things. We don't want them to
fade away, right, Like, that's the you throw all that

(31:56):
stuff out there, You throw that game out there, bro
at the top, you better be there in the floor
with quarter playing that same You know what I'm saying, Like,
you're gonna throw all that out to impress. Now, what's
your sustainability factor? Now? What's kind of endurance you got
on that? That's what I'm saying to you because I

(32:16):
know for a fact I've stood up a lot and
then I stop standing up sometimes.

Speaker 4 (32:20):
Oh my gosh, get it.

Speaker 2 (32:21):
Together every single time. It makes other people feel uncomfortable.
Every time you get it from the table, I stand up.
Other people look at me like, dude, give me a break.

Speaker 4 (32:29):
Why don't you take her out one on one?

Speaker 1 (32:31):
Where are you yelling? Bark bark?

Speaker 2 (32:35):
Yeah, geez, why are you so bitter about my guidance?
Back to intern Sophia.

Speaker 1 (32:40):
That startled me.

Speaker 2 (32:41):
I didn't meet anybody.

Speaker 4 (32:43):
Sorry, what.

Speaker 1 (32:45):
I don't want who to meet somebody? Sophia's met somebody.

Speaker 2 (32:50):
Yeah, but you're actually you don't want her to be
so negative.

Speaker 4 (32:53):
No, I'm not negative to her. I'm saying I'm negative
to you.

Speaker 2 (32:56):
Well, then you don't want me to meet anybody.

Speaker 4 (32:58):
I I want you to meet somebody.

Speaker 2 (33:00):
I'm fine. It's a feer.

Speaker 7 (33:05):
Well done, thank you very much.

Speaker 2 (33:07):
Now let's get in to it. There's a picture going
around of a tip jar at TSA. Is this common?

Speaker 6 (33:14):
Well, it started circulating online and it looks like a
TSA checkpoint had put out a literal tip jar with
a sign that said tips are welcome. And that was
a very busy holiday season, a lot of people traveling
for Thanksgiving, so people were kind of like, okay, maybe
this is real, Like who knows, and they were. They

(33:36):
were kind of basically losing a TSA agents or federal
employees that can't accept tips. So everyone was wondering if
it was real or someone was just messing around. Of course,
TSA quickly stepped in and said, nope, not us, and
if anyone sees anything like this, it is not official,
get it removed asap. But it got people talking like,
imagine rolling through security already stressed out with all your

(33:57):
bags and things, and having to take off your shoes
and ugg your water before you have to throw it away,
and there's a tip jar like this happened to LaGuardia.
If this were to happen to Lax, do you think
people would actually tip?

Speaker 1 (34:08):
I think I would. I feel like I'm so accustomed
to always seeing tip.

Speaker 6 (34:12):
Jars everywhere that I'd be like, oh, okay, we'll just
you know, it's a holiday that's.

Speaker 2 (34:15):
Wantsa to go good on you, so you want to
put something in there to pay it forward, to pay
it backwards.

Speaker 6 (34:19):
I feel like I wouldn't even cross my mind. I'd
just be like, okay, here's a few.

Speaker 3 (34:22):
Bucks, Yes, I supported right again?

Speaker 2 (34:26):
Can I move through faster?

Speaker 1 (34:29):
But I just like, that's the culture that we live.

Speaker 6 (34:31):
And you'll go anywhere and there's a tip jar on
every counter every time you're paying, you're buying something like,
there's a tip jar.

Speaker 2 (34:38):
What if you still use real money and they give
you coins and you put the coins in the tip jar?
Is that okay?

Speaker 1 (34:46):
I guess, But the tip jar wasn't real to begin with.

Speaker 2 (34:50):
No, not there, I'm talking about it.

Speaker 4 (34:51):
Yeah, in general.

Speaker 2 (34:52):
Oh, anyway, I feel like the coins you now need
to hold onto and go with, you know, some bills, right.

Speaker 4 (35:01):
I think anything is nice.

Speaker 2 (35:02):
Yeah, but you don't work behind the counter. Do they
want Nichols? I used to you did want Nichols, but
that was so long ago. The nikel was worth a dollar.

Speaker 1 (35:11):
I mean they're not even making pennies anymore.

Speaker 2 (35:15):
All right, So there you go. It's a p s

Okay, one, did I have one? I had something?

Speaker 1 (38:52):
Yeah? Yeah, it was so good.

Speaker 2 (38:54):
I can't remember what it was now. It was kind
of like on the right path. It wasn't a crystallized resolution.
Mark is googling.

Speaker 11 (39:01):
Ear.

Speaker 5 (39:02):
I remember it because I remember being really struck by it.

Speaker 2 (39:05):
So what is it if you remember it by it
too well, you don't remember you know what, People don't
remember what you say after you're gone.

Speaker 3 (39:12):
They remember how you made them feel.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
