Thank you for listening to us. Ryan Air on Air
with Ryan Seacrest.
Speaker 3 (00:09):
Good Morning one or two point seven Kiss FM, Tanya
Ciciny the back room tubs.
Speaker 4 (00:17):
Mark, I missed y'all too.
Speaker 3 (00:21):
I missed y'all. Matter of fact, Mark will tell you
this is true. On December twenty eighth and twenty ninth,
I was ready to come in and do a show,
but I was told everybody else was still off.
Speaker 5 (00:32):
You're already sending me ideas.
Speaker 3 (00:34):
Yeah, I was sending my ideas. I said, let's just
come in and do one. He said no, because everyone
is still all.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
Yeah, you can't really do that when we're all on vacation.
Speaker 3 (00:41):
Yeah, that's what he told me. Then I was into
the idea of just showing up.
Speaker 6 (00:47):
Well, I guess you could do that if you wanted
to have a one man show, have a Hollyween Christmas.
Speaker 3 (00:52):
Whoever was on, just come in take some calls. I
missed it. I really like it. Glad to be back.
So many things talked about ketchup.
Speaker 6 (01:00):
It is nice to be back, but it's also nice
to have a break to the so then you know what,
at least when they say absence makes the heart grow fonder.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
It's true, it really is.
Speaker 3 (01:09):
All the time. But it's true making go either way?
Speaker 1 (01:12):
Me too, I get it, me too.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
Absence pushes you away and it makes you completely disconnect
sometimes too.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
That's dark.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
Yeah, was a Oh did you have a good one?
Speaker 7 (01:26):
Though?
Speaker 3 (01:26):
Everybody have a nice fulfilling?
Speaker 2 (01:30):
I did. It was a nice reset.
Speaker 6 (01:31):
But it did make me miss you guys, and it
makes me appreciate my line of work and my job,
and it makes me want to come back strong and
excited for the new year.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
And with the new haircut, go after it. So what
did you do to change your hair? Sistany has a
new look for twenty twenty four. It's not like that drastic,
but there's a bang. I know it's a darker color. Oh,
there's no said a chance I'd get it right, I said, bang.
Speaker 6 (01:55):
Yeah, it's just darker. And it's actually more like my
natural color.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
Isn't it cut? So it covers your left eye more?
Speaker 1 (02:03):
Is it?
Speaker 2 (02:03):
Maybe the way I styled it today?
Speaker 3 (02:05):
But that's smoother.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
It's that can go either way?
Speaker 3 (02:07):
Is it smooth and shinier? Tanya? Do you see that?
Speaker 2 (02:09):
It just looks that way? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (02:11):
Did you change your shampoo.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
They put a glaze on it.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
I guess, like a donut.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
No, like a mask. Oh you've never done a mask
on your hair? On your hair? Oh no, you haven't
lived until you've done a mask on your hair.
Speaker 3 (02:25):
I found a mask, one of those cold face, rubbery
face masks in my fridge. I threugh that on myself. Man,
I was in heaven.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
No, it's basically yes, those are great too.
Speaker 6 (02:33):
This is basically like a deep conditioner, and so then
you leave it in for like twenty minutes and then
you rinse it down and then it gives you that
like shine.
Speaker 3 (02:40):
It's a new you for twenty twenty.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
Thank you very much. I feel great about it.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
Are we too hard on ourselves by saying every year
we're going to come back and make ourselves better? Too hard? No?
Speaker 1 (02:51):
No, it's so good to like start off a new
year with a new mindset and feel inspired and you
want to be better.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
Have a new goal.
Speaker 6 (02:58):
Yeah, maybe just one so you don't like feel like
you failed if you make a lot of them.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
Need to be less hard on ourselves?
Speaker 1 (03:06):
Sure, do you need to talk about something?
Speaker 3 (03:08):
No, I'm just saying, like we need to be less
hard because I always come back. Oh my gosh, I've
got to eat one piece of broccoli lunch, dinner, no breakfast,
and just get back into the way I felt before, because,
as you know, when my family is around and when
we don't have to get up extremely early, I eat
dinner later than normal and I eat cheese and things
I don't normally eat. And I love it. Yeah, I
(03:32):
love it. I actually got back into sweets over Christmas,
and you know what, I'm not going to be hard
on myself about it.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
Good.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
I'm not a sugar guy, but I like some sweets
over the holidays, and I'm okay, I'm fine with it.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
Are you fine?
Speaker 1 (03:46):
Because you're exactly what it sounds like when you're fine.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
No, that's the sound of self love right there. That's
what that is.
Speaker 6 (03:54):
Well, a week into the new year, are you fine
with it? Or you going to let it go and
now you're gonna go back to your regimen.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
Well, the good news is I have a routine exam
coming up that makes me drink only liquids for twenty
four hours to flush myself. So I timed that perfectly.
Didn't that It's not to get me jumped started on
my program?
Speaker 2 (04:16):
There you have it there. It is well.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
I thought it would be convenient to schedule it on
a weekday, so therefore, while we're together, I may need
to rush. I don't know when this. I don't when
the juice is kick in, but whenever they do, I
have to run out there.
Speaker 6 (04:29):
You should just tell yourself, I'm doing this new cleanse
where I just eat everything.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
May but that won't work, and then you don't feel bad. No,
I will feel bad when I walk by a window.
You're like window. But you just tell your this negative energy,
you can't have it. January third, twenty twenty four, and
just sort of catching up with everyone, getting up to speed.
Tany and I haven't changed the bit Sisney's got a
new haircut, Tony. Did you lock down any more wedding
(04:57):
plans over Christmas?
Speaker 8 (04:58):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (04:58):
Yeah, a few, but I I did. I have changed
a little bit this January.
Speaker 3 (05:02):
Would you change?
Speaker 1 (05:03):
I'm dabbling in dry January. I'm going for it.
Speaker 3 (05:07):
You're dabbling in it? Are you doing it?
Speaker 1 (05:08):
I'm trying. I'm attempt trying to do it.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
That's fantastic, Thank you.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
I realized something at the end of last year where
even if I had a couple of glasses of wine.
I felt foggy the next day, and I really want
to be on it and sharp and get stuff done
this month. And so I'm saying goodbye to.
Speaker 3 (05:24):
The for you. But if you do break and you
go back to wine, organic wine makes a big difference.
It really does, because the pesticides and fertilizers are not
in there. And that is really for me what I
feel the next day.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
Yeah, it's just like I'm over the next day effect.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
Two days and six hours in So good, Anya, thank
you so much. Hold, I'm strong, Rooby in the back
room here. How is your Christmas?
Speaker 7 (05:52):
It was good? It was really good, really wholesome. Actually
went to Barcelona.
Speaker 3 (05:57):
Oh you went to Barcelona, not the restaurant.
Speaker 9 (05:59):
That city, the city in Spain.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
Yes, wow, Barcelona.
Speaker 9 (06:03):
Mm hmmm.
Speaker 3 (06:04):
How was it?
Speaker 9 (06:05):
Signa up?
Speaker 7 (06:06):
So incredible, so incredible, definitely recommend.
Speaker 9 (06:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (06:09):
I had so much there.
Speaker 9 (06:11):
Yes, the food is next level.
Speaker 3 (06:13):
That's why I go mm hmm, not put some paia. Okay,
So speaking of food, now, were you yesterday at the
farmer's market with your family making your el chilito hot sauce?
Speaker 7 (06:21):
So we were actually at a co packing facility in
sun Valley that's where we make our hot sauce. But
it was like all hands on deck, my dad, my
two sisters. We also have some help from the employees
at work there, and then of course I'm there as well,
so we're all bottling, mixing, adding the shrink bands on
the bottles. It's still very much a full family operation.
Speaker 3 (06:43):
Everybody has a side hustle, ye, and that's rub beside hustle.
Her family makes el Chledo. They sell at the Farmer's
Market El Chiledo and you guys literally do it all.
Speaker 9 (06:52):
Yes, we do it all.
Speaker 7 (06:53):
My dad roasts the sesame seeds in the facility, my
little sister mixes like the vinegar with all the spice blends,
and then me and my older sister we bottle it up.
Speaker 9 (07:04):
There's like a little.
Speaker 7 (07:05):
Machine that you just click the button and it dispenses
the hot sauce and then we add the labels the
shrink bands. So yeah, it's a process, but we like
have have it figured out now.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
El Chilito. Google it. You can get it at Sarah's
Market at City Terrace, Fatty Marked La and mar Vista. Yes,
you can get it at sip Snack in Highland Park
and a lot of other places. But who knew Ruby
that the two of us would have a food product.
Speaker 9 (07:32):
Wow?
Speaker 3 (07:33):
Right, I mean you're selling yours. Mine's not totally ready
for sell yet because I'm approval to do that. But
you bottle hot sauce. I'm bottling olive oil, extra virgin
olive oil.
Speaker 7 (07:42):
Yeah, maybe we could do like a collab one a spicy.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
Ol spicy and a bottle of my almond milk for
you guys.
Speaker 9 (07:50):
Let's do it.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
I so badly want to be the guy at the
Farmer's market with my ev O O banner hanging from
my vand going like, for example, good morning, sir, how
are you which could you would like a free sample
of an extra virgin olive A lot of health benefits
to you, Come on over, good morning, because the Farmer's
market breeds the nicest people. Nicest people, Well welcome, good luck.
(08:12):
So you got to get your dad on with us sometimes.
Speaker 7 (08:14):
Oh my gosh, he would probably like he would go crazy.
Speaker 1 (08:20):
That's what we like.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
Is his year to be on this show?
Speaker 9 (08:23):
Yeah, the occasion Mark is making a note.
Speaker 3 (08:27):
When's his birthday? It just passed, let's be late celebrate, Okay,
So when you have relatives visit from out of state,
do you find them like intimidated to get on the
freeways or just commenting about our freeways all the time.
Speaker 4 (08:41):
They don't even want to drive. No, yeah, my parents
when they arrive it is, you know, a low rive
eleven thirty, Oh, we'll be there'll three?
Speaker 3 (08:55):
Well why why?
Speaker 6 (08:56):
Well?
Speaker 3 (08:57):
You know the bags then that traffic you know they
go down that hill slow on that form? Is not
talking like that?
Speaker 2 (09:07):
He does charming nice.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
I think you'll be here for lunch. No, we won't.
Speaker 2 (09:11):
He does.
Speaker 1 (09:12):
He has an accent.
Speaker 3 (09:14):
He doesn't have an accent?
Speaker 9 (09:15):
He does?
Speaker 8 (09:16):
You do?
Speaker 3 (09:16):
My dad?
Speaker 2 (09:16):
Then fine, like a southern accent.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
He's from Pennsylvania.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
Hey, ry, Yeah, I don't want to go on the freeway.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
Ry okay.
Speaker 3 (09:25):
First of all, my father has never said.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
First of all, it's shouty like that.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
But it's better than the one Ryan did.
Speaker 3 (09:31):
Excuse me, this is where you talked.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
No, No, it's more like it's more like pretzels. We
land at eleven and we'll be there like three o'clock.
What is that?
Speaker 8 (09:44):
No?
Speaker 3 (09:44):
No, no, he's much more cynical than that. Anyway, This is
the point, right at this time of day. Everybody who
complains about the freeways should have good reason. It's the
most dangerous time a day to be on the roads,
and that time of day it's a serious issue. The
most fatal crashes happened between nine and ten in California.
(10:06):
In most states it's five to six pm. Here it's later.
I think it's because we don't You can't move you
there's not enough speed that you can get between five
and six you know, so, oh you're right between nine
and ten speed limit. You know you can get to
the speed limit. But in the rush hours you cannot.
But that's interesting nine thirty because you would think, oh,
nine thirties, I can zip around. Well, be careful, be aware,
(10:27):
it's a stat Today's quote on a Wednesday morning, do
not wait until the conditions are perfect to begin beginning.
Makes the conditions perfect to start.
Speaker 1 (10:42):
Start A smooth ocean never made a skillful sailor skillful sailor.
Speaker 3 (10:49):
Whatever we're doing today is just one today. It's not overpopulator,
just FM headlines with siciny well.
Speaker 6 (10:58):
The first storm of the year is bringing morning showers
and snow to the Southland today, but isn't expected to
stick around for long. The cold storm is the first
in a series of storms expected to impact SoCal this week.
The Compton Courthouse will be closed until further notice did
impact due to a pipe burst. All imperative and incustody
(11:20):
matters will be immediately transferred to another courthouse for hearing.
Speaker 2 (11:25):
City leaders are.
Speaker 6 (11:26):
Encouraging Angelino's to properly dispose of and recycle their Christmas
trees via the city's Christmas Tree Recycling program, which allows
residents to request free curve side pickup. And Snoop Dogg
is joining NBC Universal's coverage of the Olympic Games Paris
twenty twenty four this summer.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
He will be on the.
Speaker 6 (11:48):
Ground providing regular reports for the primetime show beginning to
Lie twenty six on air with Ryan Seacrest.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
We have so much pent up chatter inside of us.
I don't know where to go. There's so much show
I want to do. I put it down to Emily.
Call from Emily. Now. First of all, Emily, thank you
for coming back to us in twenty twenty four, because
you could have left us, but you didn't and we
are grateful. And to anybody that came back, thank you.
So Emily, you're in boil heights and you're saying he
(12:20):
created an entire highlight of y'all on Instagram and you're
not even official. Who is he?
Speaker 1 (12:29):
Hi?
Speaker 10 (12:30):
So I've been dating him for two months and I
really like him, but like, we haven't even had a
boyfriend girlfriend conversation yet. So this highlight reel just feels
intense and kind of like hard launched.
Speaker 3 (12:43):
What's in the highlight reel?
Speaker 10 (12:46):
It's all these pictures of things we did over the
holidays and like selfies of us, and it's cute, but
he labeled the whole thing with a heart.
Speaker 1 (12:54):
Nikes, Mirian, do you know where the highlight reel is?
Speaker 3 (12:59):
Thank you for you up? Because I didn't want to
sound too night by asking, I was trying to show.
Speaker 6 (13:04):
So this means Emily that at some point he did
post these as stories and that didn't bother you.
Speaker 10 (13:10):
Yes, no, it was fine when there were stories. It's
just something about it being like a whole reel of
just us.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
Right, like seriod, Right, it's like a scrap book.
Speaker 3 (13:19):
This is the Travis Taylor plan, Like why not be
proud and out there about it?
Speaker 10 (13:24):
WHOA, So we haven't even talked about being boyfriend girlfriend yet,
So that just feels like like past, like a past,
so you know, like you went too far.
Speaker 3 (13:36):
Tell you, why are you showing me my instagram?
Speaker 1 (13:38):
I'm showing you your highlights. Yours are like the Ryan
Seacrest Foundation New Year's Rocket.
Speaker 2 (13:42):
They stay there, stay there forever.
Speaker 6 (13:44):
It's like a photo album at the very top of
your instagrams, like I have these about my kids, like
I have them, you know, like important things like that
when I went to Singapore, like I have my sing
poor album.
Speaker 3 (13:53):
They're all worker all jobs.
Speaker 8 (13:57):
Up.
Speaker 3 (13:57):
Yeah, I gotta put I gotta put Emily and her
man up there.
Speaker 2 (13:59):
Right.
Speaker 6 (14:00):
Some people tend to do relationships or people they care
about the whole engagement.
Speaker 3 (14:05):
Am I to be clear and just to I understand?
So you want to have a conversation about y'all being
a thing before he's up promoting it. Is that what
you're saying?
Speaker 10 (14:15):
Yeah, we agree to be exclusive, but not like.
Speaker 3 (14:20):
So there's other man in the picture that may take
this the wrong way, which is what we're talking about here.
Is that right?
Speaker 2 (14:25):
Maybe not even that extreme.
Speaker 10 (14:28):
Yeah, it's just I don't know. It just feels like
really serious to me, Like it just feels like he
went like I wish he had talked it to me first,
But I don't want to hurt his feelings about it,
Like I don't want him to get upset.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
Have you put him on your Instagram at all?
Speaker 10 (14:43):
Just in my stories but not like in a highlight reel?
Speaker 2 (14:46):
Okay? So what about on the grid? Are any of
you on the grid?
Speaker 10 (14:50):
No?
Speaker 3 (14:50):
Okay, we just like to Can you talk to him
to say, hey, this is a little public for me,
or he talk to him and say should we be
talking about something more serious here? If that's what you want?
But it feels like you got to get to him sales.
Speaker 10 (15:08):
Yeah, I'm afraid I'm going to like hurt his feelings
and deflate him. Like if I talk to him about
it like I.
Speaker 2 (15:14):
Like him, then you have to make a choice.
Speaker 10 (15:16):
Like it makes me uncomfortable, you know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (15:18):
Like I got to tell him to tell him otherwise
this is not going to be a great relationship if
you can't speak what you're thinking, right, I mean, if
you're super into this guy, you probably wouldn't care so much.
So I'm only saying, listen to your heart. Are you
not super into this dude, or at least yet?
Speaker 10 (15:38):
Yeah, I guess I just wanted to move a little slower, right, Yeah,
I guess I need to talk.
Speaker 5 (15:43):
To him about that.
Speaker 10 (15:44):
But am I totally overreacting?
Speaker 6 (15:47):
Not if you are into him, but you want a
slower pace and tell him that, Okay?
Speaker 3 (15:55):
All right?
Speaker 10 (15:56):
I was trying to find a solution that didn't involve
me talking to him.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
Which we totally knew, and we did not want to
give you that easy way out. We want we all
want the easy way out of something like that, And
that's what I would want to do to you, so nice.
Speaker 1 (16:14):
Like, what is the big deal? It's so cute, it's proud,
he wants to show you off, so cute.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
Stage five click.
Speaker 3 (16:21):
She's worried that it's too soon, too fast, too public,
too much highlighting.
Speaker 1 (16:25):
Yeah, one day you're going to be like, where's my
highlight reel? And he's gonna be like, sorry.
Speaker 3 (16:31):
Girl, that's really negative. That's really negative. Right way to
condemn that high relationship for the future.
Speaker 1 (16:39):
We're just saying we always want what we can't have.
Maybe in a couple months, you're going to want the
highlight reel.
Speaker 3 (16:45):
All right. Anything on your mind, ever, especially in the
relationship category, test us challenge us with what we might say,
I don't know if I want to call it advice reaction.
It's different reaction, different views. Sisney has a Trening report.
Have you started to think about your new personal life
(17:06):
and romantic life this year? And are you going to
start fresh, clean slate, start dating somebody new. Sydney is
saying that there are different now focuses of what people
want from other people that have evolved over the years,
over time for whatever reason, hm, and these all have
a name to them. So run down what are people
looking for in a partner in twenty twenty fources, and
(17:27):
we have.
Speaker 6 (17:28):
Bumble to think for this because they did all such.
Speaker 2 (17:32):
It was hinge.
Speaker 1 (17:33):
It was hinge, but same difference.
Speaker 2 (17:34):
Same thing. So let's start with cross gen romance.
Speaker 3 (17:39):
Cross gen romance singles.
Speaker 6 (17:41):
Are more open to dating quite a bit older or
quite a bit younger. Age isn't a defining factor anymore.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
Yeah, baby, same in twenty twenty. Now, I don't know
if it was the same.
Speaker 6 (17:53):
They did the research and said fifty nine percent of
women say they're now more open to dating someone younger
than that.
Speaker 3 (18:00):
So they did not think that a week ago.
Speaker 2 (18:03):
No, that did not huh exactly?
Speaker 3 (18:05):
How things just pivot.
Speaker 6 (18:06):
And another one is stop the self improvement trap. So,
especially in the US, there is a sense that we
always need a better to better ourselves. Instead, the trend
is now the opposite to be happy with who you
are currently, like happy with who you are now, and
people want to date people who won't try to change them.
Speaker 3 (18:27):
Yeah, this may be the year you see me in
the wild with my shirt off. This may be the
year for you.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
Emotional intimacy is key. This is another one.
Speaker 6 (18:41):
So focusing on dating somebody that is in tune with
their mental health, they go to therapy. This is going
to be a big one, a big dating trend for
twenty twenty four. They value self care, all that stuff
is going to be on top of the list.
Speaker 3 (18:54):
And so these are like things that people are looking
for in a partner in the new year. How soon
when you meet somebody in twenty twenty four, can you
go to couple's therapy with them?
Speaker 2 (19:03):
Oh? I don't know right away.
Speaker 6 (19:06):
I mean I guess it's like if that's your thing,
Like let's say you both right, Let's say if you
both go to therapy in general, and that's something that's
normal for you, whow do.
Speaker 3 (19:16):
You find that you can have more conversations early on
for clarity that could become a problem later on. I'm
just saying it's proactive.
Speaker 2 (19:23):
I don't think it's a bad idea.
Speaker 1 (19:25):
If a guy had that he went to therapy on
his dating app profile, I would be like, cross, you're engaged. Yeah, No,
that's a good. That's a good.
Speaker 2 (19:35):
That's a good.
Speaker 1 (19:35):
Like like I'm like, like.
Speaker 3 (19:37):
Dreoli, saliva tongue needs to not be a part of
your world as an engaged person. Yeah, you can't saliva
tongue your microphone while you're about to get married. Other guys, now.
Speaker 1 (19:48):
Other guys are just saying if I were on.
Speaker 3 (19:50):
The dating apps and another guy had he went to therapy.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
Exactly exactly. I'm just telling the guys that are listening,
that's a great thing to put on your profile.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
I just said that before you said that.
Speaker 3 (20:02):
So what's next on that list?
Speaker 6 (20:05):
Sharing sports interests? So that's going to be a very
top of the list. And I think we have Taylor
Swift to think for that. Everybody kind of wants their
own Taylor Swift Travis Kelcey's story, so I don't think
there's any surprise there. And then relationship timeline declined, so
the rejection of the traditional monogamous relationships and expectations will continue.
In twenty twenty four, women especially say that there's no
(20:27):
longer a focus on traditional timelines or milestones. They only
want to date people who have the same perspective. So
trying to put maybe a label on something or a
milestone checklist type of thing on a relationship is kind
of going out the window, and it's more about good Yeah,
I think that is.
Speaker 2 (20:43):
You know, it's more just.
Speaker 3 (20:43):
Saying that people are not going to be in monogamous relationships.
Speaker 2 (20:48):
It's more about perspective and.
Speaker 3 (20:49):
To reject traditional monogamous relationship.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
So it could be more about perspective.
Speaker 6 (20:54):
So let's say they wanted to date multiple people are
about open relationship, that could be what's their boat.
Speaker 3 (21:00):
In twenty twenty four, we're gonna see that.
Speaker 1 (21:02):
I mean or life partner.
Speaker 6 (21:04):
Remember life partner, Yeah, to each their own might not
work for you, Ryan, but it works for somebody else.
Speaker 3 (21:11):
Well, who are you all of a sudden talking about
I am lack of monogamy.
Speaker 6 (21:15):
I am married and I'm happy I am. I don't
want to be out there dating non monogamous people.
Speaker 2 (21:22):
Yeah, that's it.
Speaker 3 (21:23):
There you have it. Tany's getting married this year. Guys,
this is Na.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
Finally it happened.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
And I just cannot hide it. The girl Caniston. Oh,
I love it. So we're back, assistanty new haircut, Tanya's
planning a wedding. Not much has changed over here, Mark,
any drastic changes in your world over Christmas in the
new year.
Speaker 5 (21:47):
My hair is the same, my wardrobe is the same.
I'm just back and excited for another year.
Speaker 3 (21:52):
Pretty much the same. Yeah, right back room, Rupee and
Kayla and Jen and Mediona. Actually, let's stop on Mediano
fors Marianna, right up to the Micah. So, Marianna, how
is your New Year's How was your Christmas?
Speaker 9 (22:06):
It was great. I had a great time with my family,
so yeah, it was. It was fun.
Speaker 3 (22:11):
So all I know, nothing changes around here. All I
know is I walk in Marco's. Oh don't forget at
some point before eight to ask Marianna about her latest
bad date. Well that seems like not the way to
start the new year with Marianna. Yeah no, no, she kind
of almost if you asked once to talk about it.
So were we starting the year off or was this
a holiday date that went and why are these dates
(22:33):
going wrong? What's happening?
Speaker 9 (22:34):
Oh my god, I gotta tell you. So it started
off with this guy that he's been wanting to take
me out on a date since Coachella?
Speaker 3 (22:42):
Right, where'd you meet the guy?
Speaker 9 (22:44):
Got Coachella?
Speaker 3 (22:46):
When was that? How long ago is April?
Speaker 6 (22:49):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (22:51):
Okay, yeah?
Speaker 9 (22:51):
Yeah. So I finally gave him like the opportunity and
he's like, I want to take you out, And you know,
I was kind of iffy about it because I didn't
know him.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
But you've been chatting with him since then, not.
Speaker 9 (23:03):
Really like kind of odd enough, but chatting.
Speaker 3 (23:08):
I met the guy randomly at Yeah, I don't know
anything about it.
Speaker 9 (23:11):
I didn't know anything. That's why I didn't want to
really hang out with him because I don't know anything
about him. And then yeah, so what what what band?
Speaker 2 (23:19):
Oh?
Speaker 9 (23:19):
He wasn't in a band. He was just there. He
cannot but okay, so I met him there and we
we started talking a little bit, and then I finally decided, Okay,
I'm gonna give this guy a chance because he's been
wanting to take me out. And we go to a bar,
which I was already like bar, Like I want to
(23:40):
go eat somewhere.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
The bar is good, I'm like it is.
Speaker 9 (23:44):
But also I didn't tell him that. Yeah, I didn't
tell him that. I just said, okay, you know, I'm
down for a bar. It'll be fun, it'll be quick.
So and we went there and then when the receptionist
brings out the receipt, he's like, oh, it's kind of expensive.
Like he kind of just like jokes around about it,
(24:06):
and he's like, that was expensive, that's pricey. And then
like he's joking about it and me and like the
waitress are looking at each other like is he being serious?
Like and he kind of just like laugh and like
in my head, I'm like, should I ask him if
he wants me to pay for a yeah? Like like
is that was that the sign that he was giving
(24:27):
me or I don't know. It was just kind of
an awkward situation.
Speaker 3 (24:31):
What did you order? What was so expensive?
Speaker 9 (24:32):
It was literally just drinks, like and we ordered chips
and salsa.
Speaker 3 (24:37):
I feel like, if I'm Marianna, i'd step in and
I got it, Bro, I should have done right. It's
like I mean almost like this make him go wait wow,
that was a move as I got it, Bro, I got.
I mean that's to me, that's just a strong, solid move,
even if you know you're not going to see the
guy again. How many hours you work here? You got that?
Speaker 9 (24:56):
Yeah, I mean that. I definitely wanted to say that
because it kind of made me feel like it's.
Speaker 3 (25:02):
The selection process.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
Many on it.
Speaker 3 (25:04):
This is why we're ending up in the same conversation
time and time again. I think that there's a selection
issue here, right. I mean, I want you to be
open to meeting strangers, but to have this open field
at Coachella. Who are you watching when you met the guy?
What was the performer?
Speaker 9 (25:20):
Frank ocean Fair?
Speaker 3 (25:22):
All right? That tells me something. Guy's got good taste. Yeah,
But I just think for me, it'd be wonderful if
your friends in the back room would say it was
some friends of theirs. It might be a good match.
But no, they're not.
Speaker 2 (25:35):
Doing that, are they.
Speaker 9 (25:36):
We talk about it sometimes.
Speaker 3 (25:39):
Well, what's the deal, Mikayla Ruby Jin Sualla, Why don't
y'all set her up with somebody that you know?
Speaker 6 (25:44):
Brian, I don't even have someone from yeah to try
to get there.
Speaker 1 (25:49):
People will just have like single friends floating around.
Speaker 3 (25:53):
That's the way to me it should go. I agree, Well,
here we are, it's a new year. Well you true,
so you're not dating this guy again?
Speaker 9 (26:01):
No? No, please, no, I don't want to.
Speaker 3 (26:05):
How did the night end? Just talk me through the
last few minutes.
Speaker 9 (26:08):
So he wanted to. He's like, oh, you want to
come over to my place? And that's absolutely.
Speaker 3 (26:17):
From the bar to my place.
Speaker 9 (26:19):
Yeah yeah, I was like, no, I actually have to go.
Speaker 3 (26:21):
Yeah, at lease, not for you. I well, listen, it
took us all a long time to get where we are.
When I said a long time, I mean decades, so
it's going to be a journey. Yeah, come to my place.
We can split the rent, all.
Speaker 9 (26:35):
Right, so.
Speaker 2 (26:38):
I mean literally all right?
Speaker 3 (26:39):
And then the guys you know you spent the night,
could I get a few? I got seventy six bucks
on you. Good morning and welcome back. Here we go,
grinding back on the grind. I will say, uh, even
(27:01):
Year's Day on the beginning of the week, not for me.
I'd rather it be on a Thursday and have the
whole Then you get the whole weekend, right, So this
one like all of a sudden, you're back.
Speaker 2 (27:11):
I know you can't pick and choose, but.
Speaker 3 (27:14):
We do start paying bills on Monday, so that's good news.
And I don't know if you went to different holiday parties.
At your New Year's Eve party, when you went, I
just read this and I loved it because it spoke
to me. But when you went, did you leave without
saying goodbye?
Speaker 6 (27:30):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (27:32):
The move? That is the movie.
Speaker 2 (27:34):
I don't do that.
Speaker 3 (27:35):
I do that.
Speaker 2 (27:36):
I know you do.
Speaker 3 (27:37):
I actually, well, you know what I do because I've
done it to y'all. I go and request a song
from the DJ and the club on my way out,
and I disappear, like I said, I'm gonna go request
a song for all of us, and then and then
the song comes on, but I'm gone. But it's perfect
because y'all don't need me there much longer. On the average,
(28:00):
it takes us forty five minutes to say goodbye from
the time we decide to leave a party to leave
in the party. Does that happen? I believe that back
in that window, Yeah, forty five minutes.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
That's like our only fight that we consistently get into,
Robbie and I, because.
Speaker 3 (28:15):
He wants to leave.
Speaker 1 (28:16):
He just leaves. He's like, it's time to go, let's go.
Speaker 2 (28:18):
And I have to think about it.
Speaker 3 (28:19):
A lot of people around.
Speaker 1 (28:20):
I have to say goodbye to everybody. And he gets
very He's like, are you joking? It's an hour like
we will leave an hour after we're ready to go.
Speaker 3 (28:27):
And then you have the group of people. Are you leaving?
You're leaving?
Speaker 2 (28:30):
Yeah, no, no, no, we have taken the picture. And
then you're trying to find the other person for the
group picture. We can't find them, and then takes.
Speaker 1 (28:37):
He gets so he gets irritated.
Speaker 3 (28:40):
People, Robbie, you're on the right track. You're gonna live longer.
People who leave parties without saying goodbye save up to
two days per year. That's how much time you're wasting
going bye bye.
Speaker 2 (28:53):
So what are you really wasting? You're just gonna go
home and probably watch the lead.
Speaker 3 (28:57):
No sleep.
Speaker 1 (28:57):
You're missing out on your sleep, are you really?
Speaker 2 (29:00):
Then you wake up.
Speaker 1 (29:00):
Earlier the next day and have a longer day the
next day.
Speaker 2 (29:03):
I won't.
Speaker 3 (29:04):
Yeah, I'm just telling you who I'll go home. So
I'm trying to cut out that urge to snack in the.
Speaker 2 (29:12):
Evening after you get home from a party.
Speaker 3 (29:14):
Yeah, well, or just in the evening, you know that
walking by the pantry, something I try not to do it. Hey,
one more tech question while we're into the New year tubs.
Maybe you want to chime in on this. Guys, when
y'all call me, I see pictures or I see animation
of you when you call me now, like Sisney, call.
Speaker 2 (29:34):
Me it's the new contact card.
Speaker 3 (29:37):
Okay, But when I call you, do you see what
do you see? Why have I seen pictures of people?
Freaks me out? Like Mark? I see a picture? Yeah,
it's so like AI like, look at this? Isn't it
right now? It's like a promo photo of.
Speaker 2 (29:51):
That's a picture.
Speaker 3 (29:52):
It makes me feel guilty swiping.
Speaker 2 (29:54):
You ignore me like I'm looking at you?
Speaker 3 (29:58):
I feel I mean, Mark, call me, call me? Watch Marks?
Speaker 11 (30:03):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (30:03):
Mark is like blue iOS? Is that what this is?
Let's see Mark? So here comes Mark? Even if I
called Mark, I get it.
Speaker 2 (30:10):
Mark and I did ours together. That's why ours look similar.
Speaker 1 (30:13):
I don't have this. I don't have this feature, Mark, Mark.
Speaker 3 (30:19):
Glamour shots at the mall?
Speaker 2 (30:22):
How can your name doesn't swivel across?
Speaker 3 (30:23):
Like mind? Does emotion?
Speaker 2 (30:28):
Step yourl up?
Speaker 3 (30:29):
Now? If I call y'all, all right, let's see whose
number do I have? Candy calling? Show me what you
see when you call no caller, I d that's that's
the new cool.
Speaker 2 (30:42):
But I know that's you. You're the only person.
Speaker 3 (30:45):
I yes, Well, then want a chance it if you
know it's me, I always do.
Speaker 2 (30:50):
I always pick up your call and then hey it's Ryan.
Speaker 1 (30:55):
I know.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
So Jarry.
Speaker 3 (30:58):
By the way, speaking of it's to call you tiny
because this was before Christmas. The vibe. Yeah, interviewing somebody
and your audio is horrible. My audio, yeah, yours and
the guest. It was so bad. I mean both of
y'all were on a zoom and you should have been
in the studio. What was mark you produced?
Speaker 5 (31:17):
I was in the room when listening to it back,
and I said to her, what is this?
Speaker 3 (31:21):
This is horrible?
Speaker 2 (31:21):
Yeah, it's terrible.
Speaker 3 (31:22):
Who was the guest?
Speaker 1 (31:23):
Jesse Murph?
Speaker 3 (31:24):
Okay, give us a little microphone on a niers. I
mean you guys were literally on a zoom in a tunnel.
I was gonna call you.
Speaker 1 (31:33):
Why didn't you call me?
Speaker 3 (31:35):
I would have been last thing you want to hear,
was that?
Speaker 11 (31:37):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (31:38):
That would have stressed me out the holidays coming ut.
Speaker 2 (31:40):
Yeah, yeah, here we are New Year.
Speaker 3 (31:42):
And this talkback microphone we've got in the IHI radio
app that was invented a couple of years ago, implemented
a lot last year. People use it quite a bit
in twenty twenty three. But it's a great way to
get to us if you can't get through on the
phone or you just want to like send us something.
And the audio is much better than the audio was
on the Vibe the other night, Jesse. But it's very clear.
It's it's crisp and clear. And you can use the
(32:04):
ihet radio app inside the Kiss of M page. Your
message comes right into the studio. You can even say Alexa,
send a talk back to one of two point seven
kiss of them. And here's what happened. So got these
Jackie in San Bernardino reached out with this one.
Speaker 12 (32:18):
Hi Ryan, it's Jackie.
Speaker 3 (32:20):
Hey.
Speaker 12 (32:20):
I'm just listening to you about your bag. Your man bag.
It's very European, it's very men in especially Italy Spain,
they always have a man bag. So America is just behind.
I think it's very sophisticated, classy. So right on.
Speaker 3 (32:44):
I just I got right on, glasses, sunglasses, keys, I
had my wallet, I had my phone, my yogurt card,
and I needed I can't nobody has a purse big
enough for stuff. Yeah, So I got my own purse
commerce strap it across my body and I proudly wear it.
Speaker 2 (33:03):
Yeah, and you work that merth like nobody else.
Speaker 3 (33:07):
It's here, I mean, it's here now, and it's practical,
and I'm ahead of the times. So just like the
architecture in Europe came over here, so's the burse it's coming.
You wear it well, hip pocket right there, the straps
across my chest for security. All right, let's get to
(33:27):
Elizabeth and Colorado. Who listens to It's Elizabeth.
Speaker 13 (33:29):
I have to tell you, thank you guys so much
from the parent of a child who uses those studios.
It has benefited so much. Seacrest Studios has brought joy
to my child's life in the darkest times at Children's
Hospital Colorado. So thank you so much, Ryan for your
(33:49):
foundation and everything you do.
Speaker 3 (33:52):
Oh that's so sweet, Elizabeth. Well, listen, there's a lot
of real stuff happening inside those hospitals. You're talking about
the Seacrest studios inside pediatric hostitle bittles. There's one in Denver.
Also out there in Salt Lake City. We just opened
last year at the end of last year. So thank
you Elizabeth for reaching out. Great to hear from you.
Hope everything's okay. And Maria from West Covina sent this
talk back.
Speaker 14 (34:12):
Good morning Ryan, Good morning, Sistany, Good morning Danya. Just
wanted to say Hi. My name is Marie Ramirez and
wanted to let you know that I've been listening for
all all of you for more than thirty years. Thank
you for being there, thank you for making our morning
commute a better one, and thank you for rian rosis.
Speaker 3 (34:32):
I have a wonderful day, but thank you for the loyalty, Maria.
Here's Alice, who moved to Vegas from LA recently.
Speaker 5 (34:38):
Hi, this is.
Speaker 8 (34:39):
Alice calling in from Las Vegas.
Speaker 2 (34:42):
Just calling in to.
Speaker 14 (34:42):
Let you guys know that.
Speaker 8 (34:45):
You're still our number one station to go to every morning,
even if we're living out here now formerly from LA
but we can't stop listening to kiss Us Them. So
here we are living in Las Vegas listening to kiss Up.
Have a great day and thank you.
Speaker 2 (35:03):
For all you do.
Speaker 3 (35:05):
Thank you, Alice in Vegas. And one more. These are
the talkbacks that just came into the IET rated app
Desre in Banning. I guess she was enjoying the show
one morning and love.
Speaker 11 (35:12):
You guys are hilarious. I am sitting here at work
laughing so hard at the topic at the moment. You
guys make my morning and make my day.
Speaker 3 (35:24):
What was the topic? What were you talking about talking?
I want to do it again. If it was that good?
What was the topic? Anybody know what the topic was? Oh?
Tell me the topic?
Speaker 2 (35:31):
What day was it?
Speaker 3 (35:32):
I don't know, Mark?
Speaker 5 (35:33):
When was that to find out? I don't know what
it was.
Speaker 3 (35:36):
Well, whatever topic it was, we should do it again.
Thank you for reaching out in the talkback button. That's
so so fun. I might leave a talkback one day
and see if you guys know it's me trying to
disguise my boys. We would know, No, you wouldn't. I
don't know, Yeah, we would, Jen, remind me. I want
to do that and see if they recognized me, but
not for like seventeen days or something.
Speaker 1 (35:57):
Well, we do that, then I'll do that too.
Speaker 3 (36:00):
I want to try and see if I can stump
you guys.
Speaker 2 (36:02):
We'll see if I can stump Would you know it's me?
Speaker 3 (36:03):
If I do my other voices?
Speaker 2 (36:05):
How are you gonna know it's me? Because we know? Yeah,
that's what you think?
Speaker 8 (36:10):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (36:10):
No, I'm pretty much know all right, we'll see, all right, fine,
game on, game on, laying down the gauntlet for ten
and four. Oh right, so let's did you see, let's
get into this, Sisanny, Tanya. We rang in the new
year and a bunch of new laws went into effect
for the state of California and a lot of people
affected by these. So the minimum wage is now sixteen
(36:33):
bucks an hour, jumps to twenty dollars an hour in
April for fast food workers. This is gonna go to
twenty three dollars an hour in June for healthcare workers.
So some increases there. Yeah, definitely go in the right direction. Now,
I think one of us has had an issue with
these quite a bit, and let's focus on the law
of Tanya. I don't want to plenty any fingers, but
(36:53):
tell you most recently you've had some speed camera issues.
Speaker 1 (36:56):
Okay, not speed camera, red light camera.
Speaker 3 (36:59):
I don't know what's better, manufacturer. So speed cameras are back.
They're back Glendale, they're putting them up Long Beach, Los Angeles.
They can now install speed cameras in my city. For me,
also need to put up signage to warning drivers about it.
But just be aware if you're in any of those cities,
they're going to be tracking speed.
Speaker 2 (37:19):
Okay, what else?
Speaker 3 (37:21):
New loss for California hotel room cancelations?
Speaker 8 (37:23):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (37:24):
What's that?
Speaker 3 (37:25):
So there are a lot of issues with cancelations for
reservations that you make. So consumers can now cancel without penalty.
Speaker 2 (37:33):
I don't understand that.
Speaker 3 (37:34):
Okay, so consumer consumers cancel up that thing. For hotel
or short term rental, reservation can be canceled within twenty
four hours after the reservation is confirmed, So there's a
grace period. You get excited, you want to book a trip,
you have a bottle of wine, you book an airbnb boom,
but twenty four hours later you can get out of it. Okay,
in that window. So that's good. I think it's good. Uh,
(37:57):
let's see other new laws in California for the year
A crosswalks. It's now illegal to stop or park within
twenty feet of a crosswalk. Who cares? Is that a
big deal? I don't understand.
Speaker 1 (38:07):
I don't think I've ever partner across.
Speaker 2 (38:09):
Will you make it sound so exciting? I don't know.
I'm trying to get behind it.
Speaker 3 (38:12):
Hey, if I'm not excited, how can you be to
get behind the new laws of the state.
Speaker 2 (38:16):
But I don't.
Speaker 3 (38:18):
I'm reading that when I got I can't even picture
that one.
Speaker 2 (38:20):
You'll get warnings this year and tickets next year.
Speaker 3 (38:24):
Okay, let's see, here's another one. Uh, security deposits. Okay,
all right, this is big The old two months rent
security deposit is now illegal.
Speaker 2 (38:35):
This is big man, because he's sneaky.
Speaker 1 (38:40):
Oh, that's a big chunk of chain.
Speaker 2 (38:43):
I bet you're going to try to do it.
Speaker 3 (38:44):
Well. You don't have to know the law. That's why
I'm here. Yeah, I know the law security deposits. So
landlords can only charge you one month's rent as a
security deposit, no first and last man. Now, if there's
competition to get a place, they probably could. There's a
If there's a I mean, yeah, la oh, I know,
I guess so huh. Then then remember this conversation you
(39:08):
have the lawyer wife. How has that changed your view
of the law?
Speaker 6 (39:14):
Just I forgot from them.
Speaker 3 (39:21):
Now I see you see it? So how has it
changed your perspective of things? Tony being almost married to
an attorney.
Speaker 1 (39:27):
Yeah, I always ask him, like, if I ever have
questions about stuff, I'm like, could they really sue for
that and and he yeah, he always has a pretty
clear answer.
Speaker 3 (39:36):
He does contract law. Yeah, how much savings for you?
Good news? Totally our word for the year. What is
our word for the year. I didn't think about this
at all until now.
Speaker 2 (39:54):
Yeahs like super fast, It's like that's my words.
Speaker 3 (39:58):
Like that, spontaneously, that's my I'm gonna try and be
a little less planned.
Speaker 2 (40:01):
Is that your word spontaneous?
Speaker 3 (40:03):
Maybe I'm thinking about a lot of things. You know
why at two point seven Kiss FM, that's where we are.
Speaker 2 (40:08):
That would be a good word for you, actually, because
is so schedule.
Speaker 1 (40:11):
You're so not spontaneous.
Speaker 3 (40:14):
Okay, don't make me sound so blank and boring like
that was so disgusting by it.
Speaker 2 (40:20):
I needed some laughter in my life.
Speaker 3 (40:22):
Yeah, well there's your nine seconds for the day.
Speaker 1 (40:25):
He is a little spontaneous though, remember that one day
he asked us to lunch and like that one day?
Speaker 3 (40:30):
Yeah, what year was that?
Speaker 2 (40:31):
Out of the fifteen years?
Speaker 1 (40:32):
Twenty twenty three, last year?
Speaker 3 (40:35):
Yeah, and not everybody was ready so.
Speaker 2 (40:36):
Fun fifteen years there was.
Speaker 3 (40:40):
So But I think in twenty twenty four, I'm gonna
clean out my closet. You're gonna see me wear the
same thing more often. I mean it's simplified.
Speaker 2 (40:49):
What's your word? Simple simplifier.
Speaker 3 (40:51):
It's not my word my word because you just threw this, Okay,
but literally we can.
Speaker 1 (40:55):
I do this every single year the genus.
Speaker 3 (40:58):
Right now, So we want a word. You got this
word that we build from this year, like thing like
tentacles from this word to execute the idea and the
feeling and the notion.
Speaker 1 (41:08):
The word is basically like your lens for the years.
So like all your decisions and everything kind of downs
to this lens.
Speaker 6 (41:13):
What's something that you feel as if would motivate you
or keep you going or.
Speaker 1 (41:19):
But it also doesn't have to be like it could
be like let's say this year you just want to
focus on family, or this year you just want to
focus on making money, or this year you just want
to focus on being present or being happy. Like it
doesn't have to be all the things.
Speaker 6 (41:30):
It can be very like, is there anything that it's
coming to your forefronting you think about it.
Speaker 3 (41:37):
I'm working on Tony. You start us off because you've
thought about this since you had Turkey and Thanksgiving.
Speaker 1 (41:41):
N Yes, So this is like a whole spiritual like
thing for me. I do it every year. And I
started in November start thinking about the year past and
what I want to do in the new year. And
I think I found the best word ever that I've
ever done for twenty twenty four.
Speaker 2 (41:57):
Oh my god, I'm so excited for you. I was
really excited.
Speaker 1 (42:00):
And when I got it, my word is try. So
it's twofold.
Speaker 3 (42:07):
I want it. Well, we'll hold our reactions.
Speaker 1 (42:09):
Yes, okay, So try is going to be my new initials, t.
Speaker 12 (42:12):
R, y.
Speaker 1 (42:14):
Anya Robbie no Tanya rad yadagar U huh oh right,
So that's gonna be my new my new name, my name.
Speaker 3 (42:22):
My new name is like to put that my phone,
yadagar give it to me.
Speaker 1 (42:25):
Yeah, y A D E g A R.
Speaker 3 (42:29):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (42:30):
So that's going to be my Those are my new initials.
And so I was like, oh my gosh, this feels
meant to be that try is going to be my
word for twenty twenty four. So everything I want to try,
new things, I want to try. I just want to
try and not be scared of failing. I just want
to try.
Speaker 3 (42:44):
So you should get a necklace with the charmless I
can't find I left it in the treadmill. Shoot treadmills. Oh,
I just have a necklace with the little charm that
is the worst feeling, and I left it on the treadmill.
Speaker 2 (43:00):
Oh, who can we call? Can we call the gym person? Yeah,
call the gym person.
Speaker 3 (43:06):
Call the gym. Oh no, now I'm gonna like be distracted.
Speaker 2 (43:09):
I like, that's such a worse feeling.
Speaker 3 (43:11):
You have a magic power, Tanya of intent and thoughtfulness. Yeah, beautiful,
I have that in your DNA, So try. I know.
Speaker 1 (43:18):
I think I should get a cute little I've been
looking at this like Stephanie Gottleab necklace.
Speaker 3 (43:22):
I think I'm like, yeah, you should get a charm
that says try yeah te period are peero white period? Yeah?
Or I should get you that for your wedding gift.
Speaker 1 (43:33):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, it's really cute.
Speaker 3 (43:35):
All right, Like what's your what's your words?
Speaker 2 (43:37):
Isn't it my word that I chose last night? Did
not think about it? Since Thanksgiving is elevate.
Speaker 6 (43:48):
I want to elevate myself. I want to elevate the
people around me. I want to elevate my children. I
just want to elevate and bring out positive energy, hopefully
to the people that surround me and maybe the things
that surround me, but just elevate it elevates a great
that's good for us.
Speaker 3 (44:04):
We'll be elevated by you. We'll get better, hopefully raise
the tide here.
Speaker 1 (44:09):
Mm hmmm.
Speaker 3 (44:10):
So I'm thinking about two words both s's simplify or
spontaneous or spontaneou.
Speaker 2 (44:18):
Make it your own.
Speaker 3 (44:20):
Simp.
Speaker 1 (44:21):
I like it with two very different vibes, two very
different roads to go down.
Speaker 3 (44:26):
I think simplify might need to be it. Why don't
you like my words?
Speaker 9 (44:32):
I like.
Speaker 3 (44:35):
I get no reaction. You spring these exercises on me
and nothing so judgmental, trying to be thoughtful.
Speaker 6 (44:43):
Thinking about it, because if you simplify, then that actually
makes you spontaneous. Simplify, Okay, I like it because it
cuts out some it cuts out some of your schedule.
Speaker 3 (45:02):
Right to be, to just be in the moment exactly. Okay,
that's the lens I'm looking through simplification.
Speaker 1 (45:08):
I love you did it? Yay, right.
Speaker 8 (45:14):
Me?
Speaker 2 (45:14):
You you did it.
Speaker 3 (45:16):
If we can remember our words tomorrow, it's going to
be a lot of chat this year. Tanya's wedding, planning
the wedding, Where is it going to be? What's going on?
I have to get I have to confirm I'm MO ordained. Yeah,
so I can apiciate the wedding. Mark, what is the
ordaining process? You probably looked into this.
Speaker 5 (45:33):
Yeah, I think it's just a few questions. We could
probably even do it on the air.
Speaker 2 (45:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (45:36):
And who has to administer the ordainment?
Speaker 5 (45:39):
Well, I think someone could do it as you on
the website. Ask you the question.
Speaker 2 (45:44):
A proper way to do it.
Speaker 3 (45:45):
Is it a website or does someone like come on
and ask questions?
Speaker 2 (45:48):
It's a website. It'll take you like two seconds.
Speaker 3 (45:51):
Well, we should do it. Let's do it here. I
think I've done it, Mark. Don't they have a record
of who's ordained? They might are there different services though
they do it. They might not cross polinic. Oh, I
thought there'd be a general ordained.
Speaker 2 (46:00):
I did it at the Universal Life Church.
Speaker 1 (46:02):
Yeah. I did the Universal Life Church and I did Well.
Speaker 3 (46:04):
I'll do it there then too.
Speaker 2 (46:05):
Yeah, that's about the cool people.
Speaker 13 (46:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (46:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (46:07):
So anyway, I'll get ordained and then i'll officiate and
you get a little badge.
Speaker 6 (46:11):
Yeah, you get a badge, you get a certificate, you
get a big book with all these like different options
of like things that you can incorporate for my tier
performance is I thought, I just read the vowels.
Speaker 1 (46:22):
Yeah, you're not gonna Yeah, it's gonna be very chill.
We're not gonna make you do a whole thing.
Speaker 2 (46:26):
You gotta personalia.
Speaker 3 (46:28):
I tell you to read the vowels.
Speaker 1 (46:29):
Yeah, we read our vowels to each other, so you'll
be like, So, I say.
Speaker 3 (46:33):
Do I do that? We are gathering here today. I
get you a template, Yeah, I mean a little send
me an example.
Speaker 1 (46:39):
I can give you a pinteress board to like vibes.
Speaker 3 (46:42):
Yeah, send me a pictures board. There could be some
jumping off points. Anyway, you're gonna beat hearing a lot
about that coming together whenever they get a date. Uh.
But this is a trending report about celebrities who Tanya
has a hunch might walk down the aisle soon as well.
Speaker 2 (46:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (46:58):
So it's actually hilarious because I was reading this article
on brides dot Com and it was about how proposals
are going to boom in twenty twenty four, and so
I wanted to kind of make our very own ringwatch
twenty twenty four for some of our favorite celebrity couples.
And I wanted to start off with Nina do Brev
and Sean White. They've been a couple since Quarantine, they've
been inseparable, and so I feel like this is the
year that's going to take their relationship to the next level.
Speaker 3 (47:21):
I love it. That's great.
Speaker 1 (47:23):
Kelsey Ballerini and Chase Stokes. So this is kind of
a hot take because they are just celebrating their one
year anniversary right now. But I think they're going to
go all the way. I see a proposal coming in
twenty twenty four for.
Speaker 3 (47:33):
The why, But like, give me some why do you
just see it going all the way and think that.
Speaker 1 (47:37):
Because she's a marriage girly. She was married, she just
got divorced, and I think she likes commitment and I
just feel like they vibe. They have the same vibe.
Speaker 3 (47:44):
Do you think you've a better perspective now that you're
walking down the aisle this year?
Speaker 1 (47:48):
Yeah, totally, I can like and tell feel it. Yeah.
Zendea and Tom Holland. So they met. They first met
on the set of Spider Man in twenty seventeen. They
started out as bff. So to me, they are game
and I think we will see a proposal in twenty
twenty four. And then last but not least, there are
rumors that this couple secretly got married, but nothing's been confirmed.
(48:08):
Rihanna and asap Rocky they met in twenty thirteen. They
have two kids together. Twenty twenty four has got to
be the year they get engaged.
Speaker 3 (48:16):
And who do you think is gonna officiate each one
of these weddings? Let's go down the list.
Speaker 1 (48:20):
Okay, I could probably do it if you gave me
a minute.
Speaker 3 (48:24):
Who's gonna officiate? Zinda and Tom Holland that's the one.
I don't know, Kelse Ballerini, Chase, I think jay z does.
Speaker 2 (48:31):
Rihanna and asap Rocky already married.
Speaker 3 (48:33):
I thought you just said they may already be married.
Speaker 1 (48:35):
There are rumors that they are, but nothing's confirmed.
Speaker 2 (48:36):
Then they renew the ten year anniversary, renew their revows.
Speaker 3 (48:39):
You know, are going to do Nina Dorev No, she
used to date him. Oh, I thought they're on the
same show.
Speaker 1 (48:45):
Yeah, they were on Vampire Diaries and then they did
they dated, Yes, they did it for a really long time.
Speaker 2 (48:51):
People.
Speaker 3 (48:51):
You think I can remember that we're on Vampire Diaries.
That's the only name that popped into my eye.
Speaker 1 (48:55):
I cannot believe you don't remember that they did it.
They were like the couples I don't remember how for
the New Year, I'm simplified.
Speaker 3 (49:02):
Okay, thanks, Then let me simplify by taking a break,
coming back with fifty Minutes and on Stop Kissing, starting
right
Speaker 2 (49:07):
Now on air on Air with a Ryan Seacrest,
