Basically, you're going to work, You're doing your thing every
now and then you think, you know what, I'd love
to make the donuts. I like donuts. I just want
to go make the donuts or I want to go
you know. For me, it's like I want to learn
how to sell olive oil. I want to make it
and sell it. Right, it's process, but I want to.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
I'm not selling it, but I'm learning how to make it,
giving it away his gifts for the moment. It's not
marketable yet anyway. But like, what do you love? Right? So?

love to do something in the world of food and restaurants. Yeah,
that's that's a passion. This is a situation where and hometowns.
So generally is somebody that like either does it it's
(00:51):

what they're doing, or they quit their job and go
do it full time.

spart Joey collection called the what's the name Baianni Collection?
Speaker 3 (02:03):
It's called Baiani Collection, which means hero. So my grandfather,
he is the first and only Filipino American to receive
the Congressional Medal of honor in the US Navy. He's
actually going to get a warship named after him. Well,
that was my inspiration for that collection.
Speaker 1 (02:23):

It's going to be called the USS tell us Boro Trinidad,
and my maiden name is Trinidad.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
I mean, that must be the most incredible honor.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
It is. It's so once they they announced the ship,
I had to do something to honor him, and it
was an inspiration. I used the Filipino son as an
inspiration for the whole collection to show, you know, the
pride I have for the culture. Very cool and my grandfather.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
So why just get a piece of jewelry, Why why
get a piece of joy that has that story exactly,
not just I think it brings good karma. I'm really
I'm happy to hear that. And so what an amazing
story for your family.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
I mean, especially especially nowadays, like this whole past year,
we've seen so much coming from Filipino artists like Bruno
Mars and her Olivia Rodrigeo. They're all parts Filipino, which
is like, it's so inspiring. So I wanted to do
something to show that.
