Have you ever thought about how much “cringe culture” can hold us back from doing the things we actually want to do?

Sisanie shared on-air that people are realizing they might be holding themselves back out of fear of jusgement.

It’s like we’re all walking on eggshells, worried about being seen as “too much” or trying too hard, when really, most people are just scrolling and cheering you on.

For example, Sisanie shared that she feared when she started sharing her weight loss journey using GLP-1s for my PCOS that people would judge when in fact it was the opposite. The response has been so positive and full of genuine curiosity.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, Sisiny, So cringe culture. This is something that
I think we can all relate to. You're worried about
putting something out there because of the judgment you might
get back right exactly.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Maybe you're an aspiring singer songwriter and you're actually really good,
but you don't post your work because you don't want
people to be judged to cringe at it. In your head,
you're like, it's not good enough, or it's whatever it is,
or maybe it could be something dumb, like a TikTok
trend that everyone's doing, like and you're like, oh, I
want to do it, but then I'm like, oh, it's
going to be.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
This happened to me. What was that trend you guys
made me dance to? Right, Yes, Drake, oh I was.
I mean it's so judged.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
There's one right now where everyone's like on the ground
and they're being pulled Bugti like I want to do it,
and I'm like, oh, I'm gonna look stupid.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
Every time every time I posted a normal picture of
me eating ice cream or working out or something, I
regret doing it.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
But there's so much more good I think that comes
from it than the negative that you think is in
your head, you know what I mean? Like, what was
the or is someone said, oh, don't put salt on
your ice cream? Like yeah, what cares? Yeah? Usually that
that says more about them than it actually does about you.
But it's like we're all walking on eggshells, worried about

(01:13):
being seen as like too much or that we're trying
too hard or something like that. But in reality, most
people are actually scrolling and cheering you on. If they're
following you, they're following you for a reason. I feel
like social media is a place to just have fun,
post what you want. Who cares? Cares?

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Who cares?

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Era Chris Is on air with a Ryan Seacrest. Well,
I'm getting compliments left and right for my outfits, So
what's my secret? JC Penny? For real, you want cute clothes,
great prices, then you need JC Penny. Like they're studded
ballet flats so chic. They're at JC Penny. Yes, JC

(01:51):
Penny
