Speaker 1 (00:01):
One out two seven. Kiss that fam. Let's get into it.
It's time for Ryan's roses. So Angie and long Beach
reaching out here. Angie, thanks for coming on. As I
understand it, your husband who was married before and now
divorced and is with you. He and his ex wife
go on vacation with their kids together.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
Still, yes, that is correct.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
And what's the dynamics?
Speaker 1 (00:24):
So the two of them travel as the two adults
on the trip, and how did the accommodations work?
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Well, I mean, okay, so that's a little bit of background.
My husband and I have been married for four years,
and his ex wife and he were married for twelve
and they have three kids, and so every other year
they go on, you know, kind of a big family
trip together and I stay home, as does her new husband.
(00:56):
But you know, these aren't just small trips to Santa
Barbara or something like that. They to Disney World, they
went to New York, and most recently they went to
the Grand Canyon. And when he and the kids were
with him.
Speaker 4 (01:10):
They.
Speaker 2 (01:12):
You know, well they came back from this trip, you know,
sally like they really had a blast, which made me
even more jealous. And this kind of situation already makes me.
But the kids actually were telling a hilarious story about
the fire alarm going off in the hotel and they
ended up sleeping in quote mom and Dad's bed and
jumping on the bed and a bottle of wine spilling
(01:34):
on the sheets, and you know, them talking about this
like this is really hilarious and funny.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
And I'm just seezing no sod as if as if
they're staying together and they're celebrating with some wine.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
Yeah, that's correct.
Speaker 3 (01:51):
How old was the child that said that?
Speaker 2 (01:54):
Ten?
Speaker 3 (01:57):
What they see?
Speaker 4 (01:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:59):
Exactly.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
Did you ask her husband about this?
Speaker 4 (02:03):
Yeah? I did.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
I asked them, you know, did you and Hillary share
a bed? And he said no. He said that he
slept on a couch in the bedroom and that when
the kids got into the bed that he but they
asked him to join.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
So okay, I mean, all right, yeah, all right, hold
on one second, Angie, we got all the information we need.
We're gonna get the number to call her husband and
find out what's going on with he and his ex
while they're taking these family trips.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
I don't like this. No mom and dad's bed, even
on the.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
Couch in the same room.
Speaker 5 (02:36):
These are like great memories being made.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
All right, we are about to call Angie's husband. He
was married before, and what happens now is he and
his ex wife go on vacation with their kids sometimes
and after this classifaication, the ten year old from your
husband's previous marriage comes home and says, oh my gosh,
you know mom and dad sharing a bed, drinking wine together.
(03:00):
So you think, clearly they're still together while they're on
these trips.
Speaker 5 (03:07):
What does he tell you before the trip is going
to take place, that we're going to have separate rooms,
that we're going to have separate anything.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
Yeah, I mean generally there's separate accommodation. Sometimes he's sleeping
in the bed, you know, with the kids. Sometimes he's
sleeping in the living room. You know, they try to
get some kind of sleet formation.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
Right.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
You know, I'm not I'm not checking the.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Let him do this.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
I mean, you know, I know that the divorce is
really rough on him and the kids. So I've just
been you know, kind of going with it. But we're
four years in. They've gone on, you know, three of
these ships so far. I feel incredibly displaced. There's nothing
you know, making us more of a family. We don't
have kids of our own together. So it's like, at
what point do you stop being so much of a family,
(04:01):
you know, and with them and going on these extravagant trips,
and you know, when do we integrate exactly?
Speaker 5 (04:07):
These sounds like incredible trips, like I would love to
go to the Grand Canyon. I would love to go
to Disney World.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
What's the ex wife's name, Hilary. Okay, we are going
to call.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
Your husband now and find out who's top of mind
for sure, who he sends these roses to the good luck?
Speaker 3 (04:25):
Be very quiet. Need you to say Ryan, you have
my permission to call, and then his name on Kiss FM.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
Go ahead, Ryan, you have my permission to call my husband.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
We're gonna do that right now. Let's see we can
find out good luck Kanjie.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (04:51):
Hello.
Speaker 5 (04:52):
Hi, can I speak to Doug please?
Speaker 4 (04:55):
Oh? This sure is Doug.
Speaker 5 (04:56):
Hi Doug, good morning.
Speaker 3 (04:57):
My name is Gloria.
Speaker 5 (04:58):
I'm calling from Long Beach Blue.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
Hi.
Speaker 5 (05:00):
You doing this morning?
Speaker 4 (05:01):
Oh? Well, I'm doing just fine.
Speaker 5 (05:04):
Great. So you know, we're actually new to the area,
right on Second Street, and we're offering a promotion for
local residents. It's a free dozen red roses that you
can send to anybody.
Speaker 4 (05:12):
That you'd like. Wow, I don't understand.
Speaker 5 (05:17):
They're absolutely free. You wouldn't have to do anything. I
don't need cash or credit card info from you or
anything like that. It's a promotion that we do about
once a month, just trying to promote our new business.
And all we ask is that if you're pleased with
our arrangements, you would refer us to friends and family
or come back as a returning customer.
Speaker 3 (05:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (05:34):
That sounds like a fine deal, But I just don't
get it. You're giving away free roses.
Speaker 3 (05:39):
If you get my number, it's just a dozen.
Speaker 5 (05:41):
You may have purach to something online in the last
six to eighteen months and selected to receive promotional offers
from local vendors.
Speaker 4 (05:49):
Well, I saw, I'd buy something on Amazon and you
just get my celle over. I mean, it seems a
little odd, doesn't it.
Speaker 5 (05:57):
That's how we get our database, and I don't know
how the backend works truly, But is there anybody in
your life that you would want to send the flowers to?
Speaker 4 (06:05):
Well, yeah, yeah, that's fine. You can just send them
to Hillary And if you have a note, I would
love it to say to Hillary, Avery, Harper and Elijah
love Dad and at the address.
Speaker 5 (06:20):
But you can just hang on one second, Harper and
Elijah Love Dad.
Speaker 1 (06:25):
Okay, Doug, Doug, your voice is being broadcast on the radio.
My name is Ryan and I've got your wife, Angie
on the phone. We're trying to understand what's going on
here in your world, Doug, So just hear that your
your voice is being broadcast. Angie, Do you want to
(06:46):
respond to what Doug just did there? Does that concern
you at all that he sent the roses starting with
Hillary and then to the whole family?
Speaker 2 (06:53):
Yes, absolutely, Doug, you thought of Hillary first. You thought
of Hillary.
Speaker 5 (07:01):
That's the bottom line.
Speaker 2 (07:02):
I always think of Hillary first. This is why I'm
doing this on the radio, because I don't know how
much longer I can deal with this.
Speaker 4 (07:08):
Oh no, I didn't think of Hillary first. She's my
ex wife. I thought of my kids first.
Speaker 3 (07:14):
I did hear you say the name Hillary first?
Speaker 1 (07:16):
And when red roses were being offered, Doug, we're going
to go down the path here. Angie was told by
one of the kids, your ten year old, that you're
sharing a bed with your ex wife when you're taking
these family vacations.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
Is there any truth to that.
Speaker 4 (07:33):
No, I was sleeping on the couch and the kids
and the ex wife were over in the bed. When
the kids got into the bed and they just begged
Daddy to come sleep with them. And I was far
away from my ex and I was with the kids.
There was a very large bed. We were very far
away from each other.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
Sent the roses to your wife or to your ex wife,
and not your wife you always you always think of her.
Speaker 4 (07:59):
Friends, a doul't No, it was my adult getting the meal.
Speaker 2 (08:09):
With Hillary and Arizona.
Speaker 4 (08:11):
Absolutely not.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
Did you share a bed with her?
Speaker 4 (08:17):
Not with her, only with my children?
Speaker 3 (08:21):
And hear me have a problem, Doug.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
First of all, these trips are a little too close
for comfort here. Uh then the fact that you're staring
to bed with your kids and your ex wife. Do
you not see how this is painting a bad picture
for your current wife.
Speaker 3 (08:33):
Dog, Why can't Angie come on these trips?
Speaker 4 (08:35):
Yes, well, you know it's just not that simple.
Speaker 1 (08:40):
This is not that simple either, But this is making
a more complicated Doug.
Speaker 4 (08:47):
Well, I definitely want to compliment their lives. These are
my children and not complicate things at all, especially with
my beautiful wife.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
Here, but this is not what it seems. But you
just send flowers to your.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
In the bed with your ex wife and we're told
you had a bottle of wine where you're in the
bed together.
Speaker 3 (09:06):
Is that true?
Speaker 4 (09:07):
Oh, we shared a little bit of wine, but it
had nothing to do with anything. Wow. I spent the
evening with the mother of my children and I slept
in his bed with my kids.
Speaker 3 (09:22):
Did you do?
Speaker 2 (09:23):
Did you and Hilary drink wine and go to bed together?
Speaker 4 (09:28):
When you say it like that, it doesn't sound good
at all. I see your point, But oh my gosh, Okay, well,
it is not exactly what happened, Angie.
Speaker 3 (09:38):
I don't know this.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
I'm uncomfortable with the whole situation here. I don't know
if he did or didn't, but he definitely was in
a bad situation with his ex wife that, if I'm you,
I'm very uncomfortable with.
Speaker 3 (09:51):
So we're gonna do you want anything else?
Speaker 2 (09:55):
Yeah? I want to know, Doug. Do you wish you
were still married to her? I mean, yeah, do you
wish you shall marry to her?
Speaker 5 (10:03):
Valid question?
Speaker 4 (10:03):
Absolutely not? Absolutely not No. If she hadn't done what
she did and cheated on me, then perhaps we would
have been together. But that's not reality reality. I love
you work together, and I don't wish that I was married.
Speaker 3 (10:20):
This is all getting worse.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
Yeah, I don't. I don't know how you. I don't
know how you expect me to be confident in our
marriage when you're made.
Speaker 5 (10:32):
That one Yeah, it sounds like you're not you.
Speaker 3 (10:35):
He's not. He's like one foot in each room like
he vowed to do.
Speaker 4 (10:42):
So. My children, of course, are very important, and you
are very don't You keep.
Speaker 1 (10:47):
Saying that that's your ex wife having wine. It's all
wrong to me, Doug, Angie. We're gonna let you both go,
and I think you have all the information you need.
Wishould uh best of luck with this situation.
Speaker 4 (11:00):
But
