Speaker 1 (00:00):
Kendrick Lamar and Sissa here On becas FM. Tony meant
to tell you that ever since it was made public
that I was ordained and officiated your wedding, my request
for weddings has gone up.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Is that bad?

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (00:18):
No, not at all. But I've not attended many in
a long time.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
I don't think you've attended in a decade. Huh.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
Probably true?

Speaker 1 (00:25):
Yeah, but I think there was no way that he could,
you know, not knock come. Actually, when I've told some
people that I officiated a wedding, They're like, what, It's.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
The only way they could get me there? Who did
you do that for?

Speaker 4 (00:43):
Don't really, By the way, I feel like this is
like totally upping your game, because anybody that has found
out that you officiated my wedding, they're like, that is
so sweet that.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
He names of these people. Because I haven't felt the
game up.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
I feel like if you put it maybe in your
bio or something like officiating just like officiated wedding, or
maybe like.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
A little line ordained.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
Yeah, because the girls were swooning, Wow, where are these girls.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
Swoony? It's like people are saying some people are saying, no.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
There were at least three swoons the other day three
all married women.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
No, I don't, I think single. Three single?

Speaker 1 (01:28):
And you keep this from all of us. Huh, I'm
telling you right, Okay, listen. So Ever since then, I've
been now asked to do more at weddings. I was
recently asked and I'll be a best man, and I'm
very honored.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
That's a big deal.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
And in the same conversation, they said, and you're ordained.
So my question is, can you best man and officiation?
Did I do it too?

Speaker 3 (01:48):
For I've been to a wedding where that happened, step
back and forth. No, you're just the best man. And
then you ordain them?

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Are you married them?

Speaker 3 (01:56):
Position A position B?

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Well, there's no right.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
Yeah, they probably maybe won't have their bridal party stand
up there.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
So I could say yes to best manning and or
officiating ordaining.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
You just start officiating all these weddings, now, why not?

Speaker 1 (02:14):
By the way, it's not not work. You gotta really
never I had to spend time naked. No, I wasn't naked.
He was naked. I had to spend time with an
older uncle of Robbie's naked and a cold plunge to
get some material.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
By the way I saw the commitment. I saw him
this weekend for Passover and he was like, his son's
getting married in September in Mexico.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
City, and he's like, do you want to tell Ryan
to come? I'll bring my bathings to do this time.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
My gosh, please, My only dream is to see him
covered up. You don't want to be at a cold plunge
with a man.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Naked.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
It's just so funny because it's like when you're at
a hotel for a wedding, like you would not you
would think other people from the wedding might be around,
so your.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Situation. Yeah, anyway, very honored to be this best man.
I'll tell you more about that as we get closer.

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
