Speaker 1 (00:00):
So let's get to a second date. Update. Dear Ryan
is hisney? This comes from Alyssa, who's on the phone now.
If you're dating, just hone in on this for a second.
Me need your help, She says, Look, guys, I pretty
much stop dating. But I went out dancing with friends
one night and met this guy. Went on a date.
Date was great, great conversation, grete vibe, We kissed, it
was perfect, well not again after that. I ran into

(00:21):
him a few times. It seemed to be perfect. But
it's cool dramatically on his end. I want to know why?
Is it because she was interested? Like Alysta, do you
think thanks for coming on? Do you think like because
you this is why do you honestly act like you're
into somebody or not? Because like you act like you

(00:42):
have a good time because you do, and then they
know they've they've got you, and then they cool off
and make you nuts. You know what I mean? What
do you think, Alyssa? What do you think happened? What
could have gone wrong?

Speaker 2 (00:55):
I don't know because, like you know, we met, we
went out twice, and I ran into him a few times,
like when we first meat, we were hitting off grades.
So I just don't get how he could go from
like zero to one hundred still bad.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
I just don't know. I Look, I don't envy you
going through all of this. We've all been there. We've
all been there, some of us more recently than others.
So here's what we're gonna do. I'm very interested and
I want to get to the bottom of it for you.

(01:36):
We're gonna the guy's name is Roger, and apparently we
have his number. Okay, so we're gonna try and get
Roger on the phone here and see what we can
find out. Why does he go out with you, make
great conversation, create this great vibe, kiss at the end,
and then just cool off dramatically and not say anything
about why. It's kind of annoying. Actually hang on one second, okay, okay,

(02:05):
on Air with Ryan Seacrest. On Air, On Air with
Ryan Seacrest. To anybody that's dating right now, we're happy
they're not listen to this. So Lisa is on the phone.
This is a second date update. She stopped dating on

(02:28):
Why did she stop dating? I didn't find that out.
She stopped dating. She meets this guy, they're a great time.
He blows her off, But why I got the guy
on the phone too, So hold on, let's go through this.
Lit'sten real quick, just fast, because I got Roger on
the phone on their line. Why did you quit dating?
Why'd you stop dating altogether?

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Dad? It was nug going well, you know, and I
decided to take a break to focus on me in
my career. But then my one day, my friends they
dragged me out dancing and then sow you know, and.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
Then you meet this guy and you decided it back
in it and then you guys have a great time,
and then he starts to blow you off.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
Right, Yeah, yeah, you were. We met, we exchanged the numbers,
we talked text and it was growing great. And finally
he like asked me to go out with him, and
I said, like, sure, do you even need to ask
me that?

Speaker 1 (03:17):
I mean, let me get him before he goes anywhere.
I got him on their line. Be very very quiet.
We're going to talk to him now. Okay, okay, okay,
Hello Roger, thanks for holding on. How are you.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
I'm doing good?

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Great, Thank you for coming on the radio. Your voice
is on air here at Kiss FM in Los Angeles.
I have Tanya and Siciny with me too. We're calling
about a woman named Alyssa that you went out with.
When I say her name, what do you think about?

Speaker 3 (03:44):
Ah? Yeah, Lissa. Yeah, she's someone I went out with
a few times.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
How'd that go?

Speaker 3 (03:54):
Uh? It was I mean, it was all right, it
was okay whatever. I guess what was it?

Speaker 1 (03:59):
What was missing? You sound like someone wasn't there. What
was missing?

Speaker 3 (04:03):
Roger, Well, nothing in particular was missing. The actual date
in itself was fine. It's just that outside of the
date was the problem. You see.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
What do you mean a problems?

Speaker 3 (04:15):
Well, the thing is is that I would be hanging
out with my friends and then she would just magically appear,
you know. And at first I didn't think much of it,
but then, you know, I started running into her at Ralph's.
I see her down the cereal aisle, you know, and
then I'm thinking small world, right, and I'm starting to
get a little suspicious. And then I start seeing her
again a few days later when I'm having coffee with

(04:36):
my friend of mine at uh, you know, I'm starting
to see her there. I'm gonna get weird out. I'm
telling my friends about it, and then they're telling me
that maybe because you have your SnapMap, you know location
on said to my friends, She's figuring where I'm at
and then decide just to pop up.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
You know, so you'd think she's Do you think it's what?
Did you think she's stalking you?

Speaker 3 (05:00):
That's what I'm thinking.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Yeah, Antny, you think that's cute.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
I mean, you guys had a nice time, and she's.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
Stocking him, following him the store, trying to I will
say Roger, Strangely, I have not seen this person that
I ran into twice at the grocery store. I went
once I was shopping, then I had to go back
like two weeks later for Dill and I ran into
the same person.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
It's just the odds.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
You know, does she live Does she live around you
in your neighborhood so that she could be shopping in
the same Yeah, you've.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
Got a grocery shop.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
It's a small world. But time I took that in,
took that aside.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Okay, forget that that aside. Let's say that that didn't happen.
Do you like Alissa.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
At first? I did, but now it's but.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Forget the grocery store sighting. Do you like her enough
to go out with her again?

Speaker 3 (05:59):
I don't know. I don't know if I could do
that honestly, and I'm going to creepy.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
I'm going to put you on the spot. Here. List
is on the phone with us right now listening to this. Listen,
can you explain the grocery store sightings? He thinks it's creepy?
What happened?

Speaker 2 (06:12):
I don't, No, I need I have to grocery shop too.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Were you following him or were you retracking him?

Speaker 3 (06:19):
But just you just so happen to be at Murphy's
Den right that night, and then you so happen to
be at Ralph's and then you so happen to be
at the library. Like come on, maybe if it was
the other way around and I so happened to bump
into you for once, I would have bought that. But
every time I shot.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
Let's not be so edgy on this, Lyssa, explain.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
Like, look, I mean, yeah, i'd like snap map is
something that like we do use sometimes, and you know,
I think like we were dating, it was funny, it
was going nice. I did want to see him and
I saw that.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
So you are following him?

Speaker 2 (07:08):
No, not exactly. I mean I I saw that you
are You're not you.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
Are you are? You are you are you.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
Are, But I like, look, I needed to go grocery
shopping and.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
Then you saw it was there and he timed it. Yeah,
so I just like, what about the library coffee shop?
What about the coffee shop?

Speaker 2 (07:27):
No, Like, I get coffee there all the time. It's
not like the places that I don't go unless you
would plan to be there around the same time that
he would be there, so that you would hopefully bump
into him.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
But then I used to, like in high school time
my bathroom breaks around like this one bell where there
was a girl who would go down that hall subscribe
by Scott Thompson's house all the time on my way home. Like,
I don't think it makes us, you know, bad people
in high school, we used to do that. But well, no,
she did it like three years ago, Tanya. So, Alyssa,

(08:02):
I can see why Roger's a little standoff is here?
I guess Roger, the question is, do you think there's
enough to say, all right, look, she's interested, it's all
fun and games, and she wants to spend some time
with me, and you liked her enough. Do you think
there's a chance to clear this up and go out
with Alyssa?

Speaker 3 (08:18):
I mean maybe at first, but not now that you
know she went about it the wrong way and now
it's just kind of.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
Not into her. Yeah, I can tell you you're not
you're not interested. I can hear it.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
Yeah, for sure I can't. I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
Okay, Roger, thank you very much for coming on with us.
Good luck to you that. Okay, bybye, Alyssa, Okay, it's
not meant to be. It's okay, it's not meant to be.
You know, all of this and you know you doing
that and him feeling this way, it's meant to not

(08:54):
work out. And that's the good news. Maybe somebody else
would have appreciated all that, Yeah, but it was. It
was meant to not be appreciated and not work out
here because we try, you know what I mean, Like,
we tried, so you know what, you can't do the
wrong thing to the right guy. Just remember that.

Speaker 2 (09:16):
Yeah, I get it.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
Like when she says it, then she sits back in
her chair, she does a virtual drop of a microphone
just by nodding her head and sitting backwards. Okay, well, Alyssa,
we move on and don't give up dating. It's it's
gonna be all right, right, not meant to be, totally
not meant to be. Remember you can't do the wrong

(09:38):
thing to the right guy. Get back

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
