and who's not going to the wedding.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Us. We've been talking about it for months.
Speaker 1 (00:23):
I know, but I feel bad that Dimitri's not going.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Listen. Weddings are one of those things where people get
if you get invited, you get invited, and that's it,
like it's you know, it is what it is expensive.
Not everybody can come.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
Don't feel bad, I know, but like in the back room,
I don't know who's going and who's not.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
We're not going what Look, Tanya had to draw the
line somewhere and you can't invite everybody at work. It's
just impossible. I had the same thing, like when I
was doing my wedding.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
I this is I don't like it. They're having to
make that choice in that decision.
Speaker 2 (01:00):
That is like the But I think everybody understands. It's
not like you guys are ain't mad about it, right, Yeah,
I mean it's.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
They're like, yeah, when you're planning a wedding, it is
it's like you you would love to invite everyone you've
ever known in your lifetime.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
Take personally? Do I take it personally?
Speaker 2 (01:19):
I don't take it personal if I'm not invited to
a wedding.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
So, guys, I just want you to know something. I'm
the officionato and so I can live stream this thing.
I can just put my phone on it, bring you
guys in. You can watch it.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
Ronnie from our digital departments coming. So I'm pretty sure
there'll be posts going up as.
Speaker 1 (01:35):
Lives Ronnie made the cut and MICHAELA didn't make the cut,
and Ruby didn't make the cut and didn't make the cut.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
Stop this is silly.
Speaker 1 (01:43):
Well, I mean, I'm just because that's what it is. Guys.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
It is what it is.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
Man, all right, Well sorry, I just really don't know. Mark,
you made the cut. I'll be there.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
Am I going to make the cut when you get married?
One day?
Speaker 1 (02:00):
I told you That's what I told you. I'm not
it's not known from work's coming, okay. Only family and
only the friends that I've talked to you every day.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
Wow, we're not considered family or a friend that he
talks to you every day?
Speaker 4 (02:12):
Wow?
Speaker 1 (02:14):
Outside of work. See it's easy. You just told me
you gotta draw lines. It's easy. I'll just draw the
line if if I work with you, no, then I
don't have to pick and shoot. I'll do it. We'll
probably do like a very Why you even got me
talking about away.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
You're the one that brought it up.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
You just trickery. Dickery docked me into talking about a wedding.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
Very good.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
I see your moves, your Jedi mind tricks. Uh.
Speaker 5 (02:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
I just to do a very tight ceremony and then
a party tight even tight.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
I do, I do?
Speaker 1 (02:44):
I love you? Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, all that stuff
roll it anyway. Mercury's entering retrograde tonight. I don't know
if that's a good sign or not.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
Oh, don't tell tell you that.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
I didn't yet, but I will have to report that
to her. Put my speech no, please don't. In an
ultimate move to fight Mercury's retrograde, you're getting married tonight.
We're gonna prove the whole retrograde scenario wrong. All right.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
We're gonna wait three months to sign the contract.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
Though, okay, yeah, and something I would not tell her
more rain this afternoon. The weekend's looking dry, partly cloudy skies.
High's in the mid upper sixties. If you're getting ready
to go to work today, how about Sophia Carson performing
this weekend at the wedding?
Speaker 2 (03:25):
Yeah, no major for their first dance.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
Do you know what song Sophia's doing? Our song?
Speaker 5 (03:30):
Is it?
Speaker 2 (03:30):
She's gonna be singing Taylor Swift's Invisible String because that's
their song, but it'll be a Sophia version of it.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
Very exciting.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
It is very exciting.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
I love a good wedding with somebody that you are
very close to.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
Yes, I have, yes, I because now I feel like
I'm going to like weddings of not that I wasn't
going to weddings of one I wasn't close to before,
but like there's like a decade of your life where
you're going to so many weddings. It's like two a
month or three in a summer, and I just they're
few and far between them.
Speaker 1 (04:01):
Have you ever gone to somebody's wedding twice? I have no?
Speaker 2 (04:05):
Wait wait, wait, wait, my brothers, I will hazel Be twice?
Speaker 1 (04:10):
Yes, Yeah, I've done it. I've done it twice. Her
am I.
Speaker 2 (04:15):
I'm trying to think now, No, you.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
Gonna act the same every time I go around I'd
be just excited that the second time around, and those
and those and those highs and lows in the last
twenty hours. Isn't you going around the breakfast table here
was your high in life?
Speaker 2 (04:32):
I guess my high is that this is it. It's
our Friday show. I am checked in from my flight already.
I'm not checking a bag, so I'm just gonna roll
that on, carry on. I'll carry on.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
Baby, I can't. I can't do that.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
Are you kidding me?
Speaker 1 (04:45):
Ryan?
Speaker 2 (04:46):
Why what are you bringing?
Speaker 1 (04:47):
My shoe size is so big? I can't figure.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
That is the silliest thing.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
That's a boot.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
It's your hair product, isn't it. Maybe you don't have
travel sized hair product.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
I do not have. Only the cost cover my high. Joy.
I just sat in the couch with me last night.
She rested her head on my leg, and she knew
I was leaving. It was one of those moments, so
she knew I was gonna status canna be with You're
low over the last twenty hours that I'm leaving.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
The kids. Yeah, so yeah, I'm a little bummed about that.
But and they're bummed, but we'll bring them something back
and they'll be excited. When we get home.
Speaker 1 (05:18):
My low. I went to the store for one thing
and left with many things, not one thing. Never go
to the store just for one thing. You'll leave with
many things. Things you will lose.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
That's me when I go to the market.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
All right, if you have a higher low you want
to send us, reach out Wango Tango tickets on sale
to Kissical, VIPs, everybody else. Ten am, let's sell that
thing out Huntington City Beach right by the pier on
Saturday May tenth. Axs dot com to get your tickets.
Axs dot com. Well, soon as the show is over,
we're all bailing. Packed last night, got organized, got my snacks.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
Took pictures of myself and all the different baiting suit options.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
Oh my god. I can't even look at myself in
a photo.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
That's why I hot to like try them on. Take
a picture like, is this gonna work? What does a
back look like? It's I know it is torture, but
you know, so we need to do it.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
Show is over, off to Margaritaville and.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
Our flight is stacked.
Speaker 1 (06:16):
I was just looking to that. I guess it's pretty
stacked now, uh Sisiny producer Mark Easton Producers Samantha program
director Biata, who celebrated a birthday this week. J kiss
EJ's going to be there. Love the way he says it, by.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
The way, Okay, keep going, keep I just wanted to
pause on EJ for a second because we were in
Beiata's office this week kind of discussing like, oh, yeah,
we're on the same flight, super cute, let alone whatever,
and then it slipped out that EJ he booked first,
like we're all in coach. EJ booked first business or whatever,
and I was like, you're gonna just ditches and He's like, yeah,
(06:59):
I use my point, kind.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
Of side scam.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
EJ got going and didn't tell any of us because
we all booked our flights at the same time.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
How about that just shows you Eja right.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
Like he could have like lobbed us a text when
we're doing oh, by the way I'm gonna be doing.
Then we were like, oh, maybe I'll look at my
points and see if I get upgrade.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
Oh, you better believe he'll be there. And his shorts
in that first row with his legs crossed. He didn't
want to.
Speaker 2 (07:20):
He didn't want to get beat out because I'm sure
if all of us trying to use our points, then
maybe you would have gotten his seat.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
I seeja, right, Ronnie from social media going to be there,
Patti rod Riguez. It's a reunion, it really is. It's
one of those things we've been working. We've been working
here a long time together. We don't get to travel
together so much. No, I haven't tried to Olympics. Yes,
honestly London. Oh no, Brazil twenty sixteen, right, twenty six
(07:45):
ten years we traveled together. Oh, Tanya, here we come, Robbie,
here we come, Nona Yadagar, here we come.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
And I'm sure there's going to be so many more
people for the wedding on this flight. You know, friends
and family, things like that that are just not even
on this line.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
Listen, these are people that are not just family, They're
not just friends. They're part of Robbing Tanya's story.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
Oh, I see what you're doing here up.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
Until now and Robbing Tonny what you to continue to
be part of their story. I'm just working on it.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
Yeah, this is nice. I was gonna say, maybe you
should dress rehearsal with us a little bit this morning.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
That pick behind a curtain Quotes for your Friday in
a second. But listen, is I don't know if you're
traveling any point sooner for work. A perk that you
don't want to deal with because it never gets cleaned.
The coffee maker if you have one set up in
the room. Yeah, the pot, they say is gross. The
filter's probably got mulled. And skip the ice bucket. Oh
(08:41):
people throw up in those.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
No, when they come with a little baggy.
Speaker 1 (08:48):
We'll make sure you got the little baggy in there.
Just telling you what people do that is terrified. Oh
you watched someone do it this weekend. I bet it
happens east.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
I was wondering about our own coffee maker.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
Here I I you know, because of all these little
things we do. I claim my coffeemaker so many times
because we talked about this before, but I know not
in the hotel. So just think about that. Here's a
quote for Friday morning. It's better to be at the
bottom of a ladder that you want to climb, then
halfway up. One. You don't match game this hour for
Wingo Tango tickets. Let me grab James here one eight
(09:24):
hundred and five two. I want to two seven. Tony's
off for the wedding Cissy and I head out later. James,
good morning. How are you good?
Speaker 4 (09:32):
Are you?
Speaker 1 (09:32):
I'm solid, brother? Thank you for asking. So you want
to propose on an upcoming trip, but you've got some
couple friends coming along. What's the problem.
Speaker 4 (09:40):
Yeah, Like, I mean, we're going to be traveling with
the couple, and so I just wanted to get your opinion,
like is it weird? Like I mean I figured, like
I would tell the other couple what's going on, but
like I plan on like proposing tour during the trip,
and so like I don't know, I can't tell, like
with them being there if it was going to be
like awkward for them, mora awkward for us with me
(10:01):
like just proposing and with them there, Like I don't
know if that's weird or not. So I just got
to get some opinion.
Speaker 1 (10:07):
Well, Tisney, I've had this happen in front of me
with another couple. We were on a wine country trip
up Nors.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
Did you know about it ahead of time?
Speaker 1 (10:15):
I did?
Speaker 2 (10:15):
Okay? And was it special? Did you like it? How
did you feel?
Speaker 1 (10:18):
I thought they shouldn't do it in front of us.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
No, really, See, I was gonna say, James, if you
include the other couple or couples and they're part of it,
you know, one of them's videotaping, one of them is
distracting her like whatever. Then they feel like it was
all like part of this big proposal. I don't think
it's that bad, but if they have no clue it's happening,
that's kind of weird.
Speaker 4 (10:40):
See, I just I don't think that they would mind.
But like my big thing is, I just don't can't
tell if it's going to like make it less special
to have other people with us while it's happening, you
know what I mean? Because I love that idea, and
my first thought was that it would be like, oh,
it's now looks like a planned thing and it would
be great. But then it started creeping into my mind.
But does that take away from the intimacy of the
(11:01):
moment or yes?
Speaker 1 (11:03):
And also sorry, but it puts pressure on us the
rest of us there, like when are we doing that
if we're with somebody?
Speaker 5 (11:12):
Oh gosh, no, oh gosh, no, real world.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
Here's the thing. They don't need to be there like
front row seat, like with their hands under their chin,
like watching it all go down two feet away from you.
But if they're like off in the distance and you
still are having your private moment. I think it's okay.
I don't mind it because you want to celebrate right
after you get engaged. You want to scream it from
the rooftops, and you want to celebrate with your friends
or your family.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
Go away and then circulate back for the car. Yeah,
all right, that's cool.
Speaker 4 (11:39):
Well, James's traveling, it could be like just instant celebrate.
We don't have to wait till we get home.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (11:45):
Look, James, here's the deal. You found your person. I mean,
good news, good news, good news. Let's just figure out
the logistics here and get on with it. Yes, all right, brother,
thanks for listening to us. Has anybody ever proposed, like,
for example, we're going to a destination right for Tanya's
what if someone proposed at that wedding?
Speaker 2 (11:58):
Would that be be very tacky? If anybody's thinking about
doing that interesting and.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
You're there, you're at the beach, why not?
Speaker 2 (12:06):
No, No, it is so tacky.
Speaker 1 (12:09):
As a non expert, just asking. Coming up next, there's
a new trend taking pictures of yourself. Right, you're taking
pictures yourself and you're touch is supposed to be touching grass.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
This is the new trend, and I don't know how
I feel about it.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
How useless are these trends?
Speaker 2 (12:21):
Well, this one's gonna get to you.
Speaker 1 (12:22):
Saint Patty State Celebrations this weekend. Tomorrow most of the beach,
Sam Patrick's Stay Parade. I am a little leprechaun on
that day. Don't even have to dress up much. Saturday
Saint Patrick State Block Party and pop crawl. We want
a Grand Central Market one PM. The others at Saint
Felix Bar at one and buy tickets for that. You've
got Santa Anita horse Race this weekend, La Lakers a Crypto,
(12:46):
Angel CITYFC home opener at Demo and Sunday the Clippers
into it. What's going on this weekend? And someone's getting married. No,
there's a new app coming out called touch Grass. What
is this about? And why do we need to even care?
How useless as all.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
Of it this is, It's not necessarily that it's useless.
It'll be useful and it'll give you more time back
in your day. And the premise is it'll force you
to literally go outside and touch grass, so you're gunning outside.
You get your vitamin d you're with nature, which is
good for you. It's good for the soul, all those things.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
I like it.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
And it's forcing you to go out there and touch
grass before you go on social media, so.
Speaker 1 (13:24):
You balance yourself.
Speaker 2 (13:25):
It's coming out tomorrow, be available tomorrow, and you touch
the grass, and asks you to choose two apps that
are your biggest time suckers. Okay, so think about the
ones that you want to limit for me, probably Instagram
or TikTok gosh at this point, chat you BT and
then it's going to block those apps. The only way
to unlock them is to take a picture of yourself
outside actually touching grass. That's I'm saying it out loud.
(13:49):
It sounds so ridiculous, and then submitting it in the app,
and then you can choose how much time you have
in each restricted app et cetera.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
Wow. I like the notion. I like the idea of
touching the earth. Now my earth is very soggy right now,
but I like the idea of it before you go
into all this other stuff. But it is kind of like,
I mean, this is the next big thing. We're out,
like we are out, and.
Speaker 2 (14:13):
I think people are trying to I think social media
is a true, true addiction, but there is like an
addiction quality to it.
Speaker 1 (14:21):
True that Tanya ban all cell phones.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
From her wedding, No, she didn't tell me that.
Speaker 1 (14:27):
Mark, do you hear about that? I did not hear
that because I was hoping to record your speech. I'm
being facetious. She's quite the opposite. Like Instagram lives with everybody.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
There's no way, but I.
Speaker 1 (14:36):
Might say in my little talk, put your phones down, guys,
get your pictures now or they everybody wants to take pictures,
don't they have the moment.
Speaker 2 (14:44):
Everybody's gonna take pictures having the kiss or video. I mean,
taket a lot of pictures. It's a lot of video
these days.
Speaker 1 (14:49):
Okay, well, can you watch with one eye the ceremony too.
Speaker 2 (14:52):
I'm just going I like to be a ceremony watcher.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
I don't like to have my phone now. I feel
like it is a little share with some.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
Get someone else's video. Okay, let's go. Good morning Erica.
You contest number one. How are you? I'm great, how
are you good? Let me meetest number two here? Oh
my godes, Vanas and Palmdale. You're contestant number two. Oh,
good to meet you. Now we're gonna play match game.
(15:19):
I'll give you a word with a blank in it.
You fill in the blank. We'll go around with the panel.
Ever get the most matches wins. We'll go one by one,
starting with you, Erica.
Speaker 4 (15:26):
You ready, okay, I'm ready?
Speaker 1 (15:28):
Yes, yours Erica is Saint blank, Saint blank? Saint what?
Saint what?
Speaker 4 (15:35):
St? Bernard?
Speaker 1 (15:37):
Okay, let's see what the panel said. You start with
sisany here, sistany Saint. I didn't.
Speaker 3 (15:46):
I was gonna say Saint Bernard, but I said Saint Jude.
Speaker 1 (15:50):
It's a good, good hospital, do a lot of good
things there. Sat Jude's. Is it Jud's Jude Jude's. I
think it's Saint Jud's. And I know what's on your
mind paston hospital, Mickayla.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
I said Saint Bernard.
Speaker 1 (16:04):
Okay, insistently, out of yours qualifies Patrick.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
That's what I was good. I was gonna say that, Patty, Okay.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
One match now, Vanessa, you need one to tie to
to win yours.
Speaker 6 (16:16):
It.
Speaker 2 (16:16):
Don't say yeah because I'm meaning to.
Speaker 1 (16:19):
Don't say it. Allowed you think about this college blank
college blank college blank? Okay, I got it. Okay, you're ready, go.
Speaker 4 (16:38):

Speaker 1 (16:42):
Ah yeah, okay, here we go the panel. Let's start listening.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
I did not say that. I said course college course,
all right, Ruby, wrong.
Speaker 3 (16:57):
I said college party, all right, Nick, college football campus.
Speaker 1 (17:03):
Well, I'm sorry. Erica wins this one. Wango Tanner Tickets, America.
Congratulations and thank you very much for coming on. Vanessa.
We love you too, appreciate you guys. Having a good
weekend all right, match give's away a little bit fun
on Friday? Uh huh, And Jamie's on the line in
WHITTI goome one to Jamie. Hi, guys, what's the story.
Speaker 2 (17:26):
What's that?
Speaker 1 (17:26):
Can we help you?
Speaker 4 (17:28):
Well?
Speaker 7 (17:28):
I heard you guys talking last week about micro retiring,
and you know, like how some people believe their jobs
and enjoy lives and then go back to working when
they're ready whatever.
Speaker 1 (17:38):
Oh, hiatus, if you can do it?
Speaker 2 (17:40):
Yeah right, okay.
Speaker 7 (17:42):
So so I'm not really doing that exactly, but I
did get laid off Friday last Friday. So my question
is they gave me a three month severance, which is
great obviously, but do I enjoy the time off or
do I try to jump right back in and try
to find a new job. It's not really my style
(18:04):
to kind of like take it easy or whatever. But
a lot of my friends are jealous and I'm getting
paid to do nothing for three months and think I
should travel, and I just I don't really know what
I should do.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
I think you should maximize this unique opportunity to do
whatever you want and not worry about what other people think.
What a little blessing luxury.
Speaker 2 (18:25):
If you can get by, though, because those three months
are going to go by super fast, and then going
to interviews, all of that.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
Maybe take two weeks. Then that's a long time. Yeah,
Like do something, maybe split it up, go do something
you spontaneous for longer than you normally would, then come
back and get real.
Speaker 7 (18:45):
Okay, yeah that's right. Yeah, because I just don't know
if I'd be able to truly relax during without having
something like do.
Speaker 1 (18:51):
It right out of the gate, do it right up front,
and then come back and focus perfect.
Speaker 7 (18:55):
Yeah, that's a great condromise.
Speaker 1 (18:56):
Thank you well, thanks for reaching out and enjoy your time.
Speaker 2 (19:00):
Thanks for listening to us, so you don't blow through
that separate though, Well that's what Just go now and
flippery sleep.
Speaker 1 (19:06):
Yeah, I know, right, it's so fun. I'm gonna stay
a little more week, Yeah, one more flight. How do
you get to sleep at night? Deep breathing cold water,
warm shower, salt bath, fighting with your partner? I don't
know how you get it?
Speaker 2 (19:21):
How do you say?
Speaker 4 (19:22):
It?
Speaker 2 (19:22):
All sounds nice until that part.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
How do you get to the sleep? How do you
get your kids down?
Speaker 7 (19:26):
Right? Well?
Speaker 1 (19:26):
These these lulla byes done by pop artists are a thing.
They're very cool.
Speaker 2 (19:29):
Yeah, they're teaming up with a rockabye baby, and so
the latest artist to do this is Bad Bunny. All right,

Speaker 1 (20:12):
The original is like, yeah, I don't know, I like
I like this, but this does not put me like
into the r e.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
M all right, what about.
Speaker 1 (20:26):
Maybe more so? What about another one?
Speaker 6 (20:29):
Well?
Speaker 2 (20:30):
Those are all the Bad Bunny ones. You know who
else did this? Was Taylor Swift Beyonce. I think we
have snoop dogs.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
Drop it like a tot because this is not putting
me off. This is getting me dressed. I'm about to
go out nobody. Hey, this is getting me out of bed.
I'm supposed to put you to sleep. I love it.
Speaker 2 (20:51):
I love that very mellowed versions of those songs.
Speaker 1 (20:54):
Of the songs, but we're talking about sleep.
Speaker 8 (20:57):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (20:57):
I like it.
Speaker 2 (20:58):
It relaxes me to watch this.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
What is streaming, What's hot and streaming? So Sysney, what's
on your weekend? Watch it?
Speaker 2 (21:04):
It is the winner at the Oscars for Best Picture.
Anora saw it. I didn't finish it, so oh really
I started, but not because it's bad, but it's because
it's long. And I gave myself, what I thought, plenty
of hours to watch it. It was eight thirty at.
Speaker 1 (21:20):
Night, twenty six or something like that.
Speaker 2 (21:22):
Yes, I fell asleep and I paid the six dollars
for it, and then now it's already a race and
I don't want to pay the six dollars again.
Speaker 1 (21:28):
Well, she rented and didn't buy.
Speaker 2 (21:30):
Well I should have bought it at this point, I
guess you should.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
Mikey Madison won Best actress she did, she went I
see why she was really. I mean, it's just it's
it's like intense, it's funny, it's got a little bit
of everything.
Speaker 2 (21:42):
It's a roller coaster movie. You kind of just don't
know what the next scene is going to be.
Speaker 1 (21:46):
Don't play it with your parents, no, or the kids
A racket? Yeah, like, I don't want this roll in
when my parents are staying.
Speaker 2 (21:52):
But yet winner of five Academy Awards, including Best Picture.
Speaker 1 (21:55):
Ruby, What's howvery weekend watch?
Speaker 3 (21:56):
This? Mine is Mickey seventeen. So David actually went to
go see this without me and he's that was really good.
Robert Pattinson is in it and everyone keeps talking about it,
So I feel like this looks good in theaters.
Speaker 1 (22:07):
Yeah. He plays a disposable employee who is sent to
colonize an ice world. Yes, boy, I don't understand that
he plays.
Speaker 3 (22:16):
He's it's basically an imaginary world where he goes. Yeah,
he travels.
Speaker 1 (22:20):
Why am I picture of Batman is at hey Batman too?
Speaker 4 (22:23):
Yes? He is?
Speaker 2 (22:23):
That's not this actor?
Speaker 1 (22:26):
Oh wow? And MICHAELA what's on your weekend watch list?
In for Tanya?
Speaker 6 (22:30):
So I just watched Toxic Town on Netflix. It's based
on a true story. Basically, dozens of babies in a
small town were born with disability, so their mothers are
kind of like trying to find those responsible and like,
you know what was it like the water there steel
company that had a lot of toxic wow lands, and
these steel trucks are driving through the neighborhoods and they
(22:51):
realized that the dust and all of that stuff was
causing these moms to like get it in their system.
And the babies were just born with disabilities. So no
one realized until.
Speaker 3 (23:02):
It was oh, like Aaron Brockovich, right, isn't that what
the movie's about to similar?
Speaker 1 (23:08):
I mean there was some toxics. I just did my
we can watch this breaking news. I thought Zero Day
was a movie. Turns out the series, Oh so if
you thought it was a movie, No, it's actually serious.
There's a lot of good ones.
Speaker 4 (23:22):
What a tree?
Speaker 1 (23:23):
What a tree? Surprise? That's kind of fun. American Idols
back and what we love about the show is contestants
who were doing everyday things had a chance to live
out their dreams by singing. I'm bringing in one of
our most dynamic and talented people from American Idol Season
one and four. San No, Hi, how are you? I'm
(23:46):
super good. Here is the Shawn's audition. You'll see this
on ABC Sunday and Brad to the Sun. She can
help you. She's a You're blessed, build your mental strong.
Speaker 8 (24:00):
And the muscles in your chest into which got gable
dp woa.
Speaker 1 (24:06):
Goes. And that's an original song. Yeah, original song, Leshan,
how many people in your family? I just want to
sort of give some context everybody listening right now. How
many people in my family growing up with that?
Speaker 4 (24:20):
Grow up with?
Speaker 8 (24:20):
Okay, So it was on and off fifteen to twenty
because sometimes people would like leave, but on and off
fifteen to twenty twenty.
Speaker 2 (24:27):
Next party.
Speaker 1 (24:28):
What a mother. She has to lead the charge. And
I've got to know her. Mom fifteen to twenty at
the table every night.
Speaker 8 (24:36):
Yeah, fifteen to twenty people. It was crazy, honestly now
that I think about it, because it's like it takes
you to like get away from it for a little
bit to realize, to realize, like dang, I'm like, mom,
how are you still alive right now? Dealing with like
different personalities.
Speaker 2 (24:53):
Like oh, putting food on the table, putting food on.
Speaker 8 (24:56):
The table, trying to you know, because you have to
be a mother figure, so nurturing, being nurturing to everybody.
Speaker 4 (25:01):
Are you okay?
Speaker 8 (25:01):
Are you mentally sound?
Speaker 1 (25:02):
Are you wow?
Speaker 8 (25:04):
Yeah? Taking everybody to wherever they needed to be because
we all have like different like talents and stuff like that.
So sports and all this other.
Speaker 6 (25:12):
Yeah, crazy, this.
Speaker 1 (25:14):
Idle on Sunday and she has a great audition, And
I'm curious to like, for anybody listening right now, that's
thought about going after a dream? What made you do it?
Speaker 8 (25:24):
What really made me do it is the fact that
that was Idle was the first thing that made me
nervous and like have a little bit of fear, and
everything else.
Speaker 2 (25:33):
Was pretty much easy.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
So I was like, whoa hold on?
Speaker 8 (25:37):
Time out because I feel like I was like placed
in like the sports area and even like people don't
know this, but I actually started rapping before I started singing,
so I was like, you know, this is cool, Like
I feel like everything else is pretty much like kind
of easy. But then Idle just felt so far out
of my reach. And me, I'm the type of person
that I like to take on a challenge. If it's
(25:57):
too easy, I'm either gonna like use and abuse it
or like just I'm gonna get tired of board. So
I was like, oh, let me try to do idle.
So I had tried last year and then I didn't
get home.
Speaker 2 (26:11):
So I'm like, what, I don't give what I want?
Speaker 8 (26:15):
And I give what I want. I'm like, nah, I
got to do this again. And I did it again
and again and again, and then I got I finally
got to audition.
Speaker 4 (26:25):
I'm like, yes, Oh my.
Speaker 8 (26:26):
Goodness, Like dang, it's like da in this world right,
that's it kind of became a challenge for me. So
I'm like, singing is like it's like a challenge, but
it also takes me places emotionally that I maybe in
other areas if IFE was afraid to go there, or
even if I wasn't afraid, maybe just like I don't
like emotions whatever, but it forces you to open up
(26:47):
and like realize things like you're in this is happening.
Speaker 1 (26:50):
If you're hard on yourself, you're going to relate to Lashn.
She is hard on herself, and I think a lot
of us are. And like she said, she he's good
a lot of things, but she's tough on herself. It
gives a great audition. Also, you're gonna want to really see.
Let me put a clip of your family outside the door. Right,
(27:11):
Oh yeah, Mom gave me lessons. I don't I don't
get it, CU get it, get it right right right,
I got there. It's difficult to carry the burden of
being so cool, Lashawn. For myself, you are not Ryan.
Speaker 8 (27:24):
I don't know if I told you that though like
you did not. I felt the energy like we're you cool? Right,
you can say that, you can say that.
Speaker 1 (27:34):
You're all well if you see the moves with me
and Lashan and her family. You be the judge this Sunday.
But I can't wait for people to see this twenty
five years old out of Miami audition in Nashville with
her original song and the judges loved her. Look for
Lashawn on Sunday ABC and then stream on Hulu. Good
to see you. We'll see on the see to see
saying bye ay right, thank you, thank you. Look at
(27:58):
you guys already like one foot out the door. I
see putting on makeup.
Speaker 2 (28:01):
I'm ready straight to the dayk mode.
Speaker 1 (28:05):
Get ubers disturb. Call the ubers in ten out of office,
actually not ten because they only wait for fifteen, So
wait a few more minutes, all right, Elle Marathon fourtieth
LA Marathon, of course, starts Dodger Stadium, ends Avenue the Stars,
Century City. Wow, I was thinking about that going through
(28:25):
downtown La Olvera Street, Little Tokyo.
Speaker 2 (28:29):
Some hills would be down to do the LA Marathon
when you.
Speaker 1 (28:32):
My knees are telling me.
Speaker 2 (28:33):
No, yeah, I mean I should have done ten years ago.
Speaker 1 (28:35):
But I don't think I could do I'd love to
do it too, I don't think I could do it.
Weather should be great though, not too hot, not too sunny.
So congrats all the runners in good luck.
Speaker 2 (28:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (28:45):
Moment of the week, it's a big eccelebratory weekend. She's
off to get married. This is Tany. I'm talking about
Cisy and joining her. And the moment of the week
happened on Wednesday when her fiance Robbie called in and
the reality of what's happened all hit all at once.

Speaker 5 (29:02):
I honestly I'm gonna cry just like thinking about it.
Speaker 2 (29:06):
Girl, let it out. It is an emotionally yeah.
Speaker 5 (29:10):
It was such a journey and Mike, I think back,
I'm just so proud of us and our relationship. But
also just I always knew that you were out there,
and I just feel like you exceeded all my expectations.
Speaker 2 (29:26):
And I'm just so glad.
Speaker 1 (29:27):
I waited there. I was waiting to see there. That
was it.
Speaker 8 (29:42):
That was it.
Speaker 1 (29:42):
I was waiting for more too, But we were so
happy for those two. We love them. No, wait, take
a look at it.
Speaker 2 (29:48):

keeps spinning. Yeah, keep toggling him. Anyway, I got it. Left,
don't tell timey. I got it last night. Finally, that's
