airline called.

It's called bark Air, Barkare, It's called bark.

Air, and the whole premise here is you get to
fly with your is it your pet or your dog?

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Can you go with a lamar? Or is that have
to be a dog?

I believe it's only dogs?

So they successfully launched their first sold out flight last
week and it is called bark Air from New York
to LA But they cater to dogs that are too
big to fit under seats on traditional flights. And it's
a white pause service, which I thought was really really
cute because the dogs can interact with other pups on
the fly, they can have their own noise canceling ear muffs, uh,

and they have their drink of their choice.

Okay, and it is it is probably going to be cheap.

Speaker 4 (01:19):
It is pricey.

How much is a ticket to New York?

A one way trip from New York to la is
six grand?

Okay? What who is doing that? But you can't you
buy a seat for your dog on United.

Fitting thirty bucks literally for like twenty nine ninety nine
or something.

Speaker 5 (01:35):
It includes a human companion, so it would be you
and your pooch. I know, it's very very expensive.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Wait, so the dog is the one that gets the
ticket and you're the companion.

Speaker 4 (01:43):
Yes, essentially, that's the other way around.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
It does get expensive, like even if you do go
on a trip and you need to put your dog somewhere,
like if you don't have family, like we always have
to fucause I'm not going to drive down to San
Diego and drop my dog off with my parents.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
So like get a This is a product of right
now now low volume. If they have a lot of takers,
they're going to bring the price down, right exactly.

Speaker 5 (02:04):
I think that's what even the CEO mentioned that he's like,
you know, when we first had like the first human
flights were very very very expensive. The first TVs were
very expensive, but once there's more demand, it can drive
down the cost.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
So that's what's the potty situation on this Like I
can't even stand the human potty situation on planes.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
That I don't know. That's a good question.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
They probably have those rooms like they have, you know, Lax,
they have the rooms where you take your dog to
do to the bathroom.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
So what do you do you take the dog?

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Yeah, you take the There's there's rooms at LAX on
the plane. I'm sure they have those same rooms where
it's a room and then there's.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Like the thing, what rooms do you think they have
on a plane, like a.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
Bathroom that they have on the plane, But it's just
like green, it's like fake plane.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Four legs can't get in there.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Well, some people try. It's called pup one instead of
plus one.

You and pup one.
