Speaker 1 (00:00):
That's right, Tanya.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Yes, you suggested this little wooden box that howlses phones
that you order on Amazon. When people come over, you
put your phones these little slots in this wooden box
kind of the size of a lunch box.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
I ordered one. I have one. It's in my dining
room and yet to be used.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Using it.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
I love it, well, I love it.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Anytime I have anybody over and we sit around and
we're having somebody, I say, everyone finds it so like
cute cute put their phones in this little box made
for phones and individual little cubbies.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
Yeah, well that reaction is not happening at my house.
Why it's just stayed in basically in the Amazon box
and you need to take it out. I put it
in our like main room, and then somehow it like
creeped its way back into this other idea to put your.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Phone away when you need to put your phone away,
and it is important to like just off of I
honestly feel so much better when I don't have it
with me if I take a walk or something, so
in my pocket.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
We're now for the month of May, we are putting
our phones down at eight pm. So once the clock
strikes eight pm, the phones go down and we are
not like it's basically just not just scroll like that's
the whole thing.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
You will check before you go to sleep to see
you miss it. But if you get like yeah, like
a work call.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
So that's the thing that I'm like starting to realize
is like I'm seeing like because my phone's charging. It's
not out of sight. It's just like charging on my nightstand,
and I'll see text popping off, and then on my
mind is like, well, what are they texting me about.
I had one of our coworkers text me that night,
and I was like, what does he want? He doesn't

(01:44):
normally text me.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
You didn't want to look at it. I didn't look.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
At it because it was like, don't look at my
phone after eight pm.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
I think in our line of work, that's a little risky,
like to I would like to.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Organize a chain of command. Here, Mark, grab a pen?

Speaker 1 (02:05):
Got it?

Speaker 2 (02:06):
So I think after ten, I'm gonna turn mine off.
Who wants to get the messages for this show?

Speaker 1 (02:13):
After ten? You can text me? All right, fine, then
you cover till what time I can cover till midnight? No,
put it down. No, I mean I'm not I'm not
staring at it. I'm just usually awake until eleven thirty.
Make somebody in the back room. They just got here.
They started working like Elsie's new Make her come. I'm
gonna make them do the midnight to two am shift.
All right, Elsie, Elsie, how long you worked here? Since December?

Speaker 3 (02:39):
Right?

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Well, guess what now you're in the chain of command.
This is a big promotion.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
I'm honored.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
So you get the overnights. Okay, sounds good.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Anything happens or anything happens overnight for this show, you
call siciny, Okay, I was done. Tanya calls Mark and
we see what happens. This is so silly and find
out last minute.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
Usually it's your command.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
Yes, so you're starting the commands. But it's made me realize,
like how I'm very addicted to my phone. Duh, Well,
I know, but I didn't think it was a problem
until I know until now.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Well we've noticed it for years. Yeah, would you like
to hear tell me more? The privileges are working here, right,
