Speaker 2 (00:27):

a quick look at some of the new stuff hitting

Amazon Prime has a series premiere of The Wheel of Time.
The lives of five young villagers change forever when a
strange and powerful woman arrives and claims one of them
is the child of an ancient prophecy with the power
to tip the balance between light and dark.

Full Eva, That's heavy.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Netflix has the premiere of the new limited series Adolescens.
When a thirteen year old is accused of the murder
of a classmate, his family therapist and the detective and
charge are all left asking what really happened?

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Oooh, that's a scripted series, but it sounds like a
good doc and I love a limited series.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
Yeah, and could this be my worst fear? Being accused
of a crime you didn't commit?

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Who knows, especially when you're thirteen.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
And Bravo has a season twenty two premiere of Top Chef.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
On Barrow Courtney Lopez, but a spotlight on my wife
to see what she's gop for is today in Courtney's corner.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
Well, it's tax season.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Yay.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
Two things in life that are guaranteed, taxes and death,
and that means trying to find any way that you
can cut down on what you owe the government. Right,
So here are some deductions. You may not be aware
that you qualify for that, so you should.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
Look gambling losses.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Wow, if you are a degenerate gambler, you may be
able to use that.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
I had no idea you could write that off. Why
are we not doing that?

Speaker 4 (02:40):
I'm sure that there's some stipulations to it and probably
amounts and stuff.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
But yeah, but hey, anything else you're.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
A pool or hot tub for entertaining clients or employees.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
That gets pricey. So that's a good one. What kind
of you got to close? You got to close the
big deal, Courtney.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
Exactly, get in my hot tub home TV chargers again,
very useful. Construction expenses for building a home, I can
see this, yep. And you can also deduct cosmetic surgery expenses,
but that's only if you need to get it after
an accident, not because you just want a little niptok Oh, okay,
I have one coming up, so I'll just get him

(03:18):
an accident before.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Well, no, you can write it off because you are
on camera and it's part of the business. That's actually
part of your job.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
Hello, even though you guys can only hear.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Me, Mario Lopez, We'll be right back, Jamar Courtney Lopez,
amright dot com. We've missed in Sinc's Joey Fatone on
the Today Show this morning. He's been on Broadway doing
the show and Juliet so I'm sure he talked a
little about that. And speaking of people on Broadway, Nick
Jonas said to drop by a talent later tonight.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
That's right, he's on a Broadway show the last five
years that just opened recently. And where is he and
his co star Adrian Warren are ready.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
To break your heart? Don't break my heart, don't.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Break your heart. Okay, First, let's get back to the music, keeping.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
The music and fun coming your way. What up, Mario
Courtney Lopez? Here quickly? You squeezing in today's ob secure holiday.
What do we get to celebrate today? Honey? One of
my faves.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
National Ginger Rail Day.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
One of my faves as well. You know, I'm not
a big soda guy, but I do love me a
ginger rail. Well that's an ale, but not in the
alcoholic sense, right, It is sort of a non alcoholic ale,
if you will. But I like the bubbly flavor. It's
got going on too, and if you've got some tummy
issues sometimes it does a trick. Jomo Courtney Lopez got

(04:34):
some buzz to get into later this hour. Plus Brian Baumgartner,
who you know from the office of course, is going
to zoom in the next hour. So I think we're
gonna go ahead and get to today's celebt birthdays. You're
just gonna shout him out. We're gonna guess Jack Harlowe,
I'm Anella baby and he is also.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
J A C K h A R l O W.

Speaker 5 (04:52):
Very good, very good.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
My guy is thirty twenty eight, twenty seven seven Emil
Hirst from Into the Wild. I think he played speed
racer and a live action speed racer fifty eight No.
Emil's Youngster, Emil's barely forty one forty oh. I was
thinking of somebody else just did a movie with our Buddy.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
Danny a uh common common Imus is fifty one fifty
three fifty three is correct and from Shameless some million
movies and stuff.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
And he's married to a felon William H.

Speaker 5 (05:29):
Macy.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
That's why he's on Shameless.

Speaker 5 (05:30):
Wait, she fell and she may not be a felon.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
She's she's she's an ex all right. He's married to
a former inmate, William H.

Speaker 5 (05:37):
Macey.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Wow, she's a great actress too. She is William H.
Is sixty six. William H. Macy just hit the seventh
level seventy five.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
Oh more.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Mario Lopez on the way.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
Al Mayo Courney Lopez digging into the buzz because With
Love with Megan is without viewers on with Mario Hollywood
buzz Well. Megan Markle can't seem to catch a break.
After premiering at the beginning of March, her new lifestyle
show With Love Megan got a green light for season
two by Netflix, but the reviews have been pretty harsh

(06:12):
and the numbers even worse. Megan Markle officially named Megan
Duchess of Sussex, which is very confusing because I thought
they abandoned the titles and the whole lifestyle and the
whole thing. Anyway, she brought in a fraction of what
her previous Netflix show or special Harry and Megan did.
Two point one million households watched that one back in
twenty twenty two, the new show coming in at just

(06:32):
a fraction, drawing just over five hundred thousand viewers. I
think our hotel channel gets more viewers than that. But
you know what, maybe she'll turn it around this next season.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
I mean, I feel bad for anyone who's in the
public eye because obviously people are just going to assume
certain things. But I also feel like there's a time
where you need to just try and hang it up
and just focus on being a mom.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Men are going away. And the crazy thing is, if
you remember they said they wanted to live a quiet lifestyle,
they're doing it attention, So why are you signing Netflix
doing the complete up? That's my point. They a little hypocritical.
That's why people are upset.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
Mario Lopez will be right back.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
Ohmorrow, Corney Lopez music rolls on, but quickly letting things
get a little weird with Cordo's random thought, what you
got hooro Corno Lopez.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
Cor You know people just don't build cities on rock
and roll anymore. They just build it on it lies.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
It's funny that you say that because the show we're
currently watching, Paradise on Hulu, that song from Starship We
Built This City is prominently featured. Oh okay, they do.
They do the original version, then they do like a
haunting version, okay of it, and should I start that show?
Here's the thing, Okay, here's the thing. It kind of

(07:58):
was starting to lose us kind of won is back
last night with a really good episode. But I'm not big.
We're both not big on end of the world type shows,
like a dystopian end of the world. I'm like, ah,
before I thought it was just a good mystery thriller
where the president got shot who did it? But there's
like another layer or something, a major one, and it

(08:18):
starts going into the world ended this this is not
getting anyway the world. I'm like, oh man, why couldn't
you just be a good political thriller. But we're not
giving up. We're halfway. We're going to see it through,

(08:42):
all right, Tromar Courtney Lopez, A few more songs gonna
fire up zoom so we can chat with our buddy
Brian Bomgartner from NBC's The Office. He just popped up
on a new show, so we're gonna get the scoop
on that, and got to ask how he celebrated National
Chili Day the other night Hang Tight back with Brian
and Ta Sobria al Mario Lopez joining me now on
Zoom from the Office. Actor, my buddy, Brian Baumgardner. What's

(09:03):
going on, Brian?

Speaker 5 (09:04):
What's up Mario? How's it going going well?

Speaker 2 (09:07):
Man, nice to see you. Congrats. I know you joined
the cast off Suits La in a guest star role
the other night. We're you were playing a fictional version
of yourself, right.

Speaker 6 (09:17):
It was definitely a fictional version of my heightened But
that's what's so amazing is I can play myself and
then anything that people don't like that I say in it,
I'm like, well, that was just that was my fictional version,
not actually me.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
I like it. I'll l a curve your enthusiasm. That's fun.
And you were working alongside Patton Oswalt on the show.
Was it the first time you all worked together?

Speaker 5 (09:40):
It was the first time we'd worked together.

Speaker 7 (09:41):
Yeah, you know, we were like la acquaintances, like the
Hello there kind of a deal. But we had a
great time. I mean from right off the bat our
first rehearsal on set, I.

Speaker 5 (09:55):
Was like, this is going to be an amazing day.

Speaker 7 (09:57):
He's so funny, he's so willing to go anywhere.

Speaker 5 (10:01):
We improp great together and I really enjoyed it.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
Might we be seeing more of you on the show?

Speaker 7 (10:09):
I think, well, look, I am a client now of
the law firm and suits La, and I think there's
a very reasonable chance that I might return.

Speaker 5 (10:21):
For some more lawyer, more lawyer advice.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
Okay, nice, nice, all right, Brian, Hey, Tach, quick break.
Then we're gonna have more with Brian Bombgartner.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
More fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
Actor Brian Bombgartner hanging out on Zoom with us is
our Mario Lopez You're been talking about as role in
suits La. But Brian, I had asked. I know the
creators of the Office are working on a new show
called The Paper, which is coming to Peacock, and they
just announced Oscars joined the cast. Might we see you
back as Kevin Malone.

Speaker 7 (10:49):
Look if Greg Daniels finds a way for Kevin to
leave his bar there in Scranton, Pennsylvania and show up
at a at a not a paper cumpany, but an
actuable paper.

Speaker 5 (11:02):
I'd be game any chance I have to play around
with Greg. He's a genius. I would be happy to
do it.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
A Mario Lopez. The office is brand Maam Gardner on
Zoom with Us. Speaking of which, twentieth anniversary of the
show premiere is on March twenty fourth. I can't believe
twenty years already. What do you remember about the audition
process for that?

Speaker 5 (11:24):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (11:24):
Man, I mean it's first off, I can't remember. I
can't believe that it's been that long. Also, I auditioned
for Stanley. That's what. That's what I auditioned for Stanley.
I knew there was another role they were looking at,
called Kevin, and thankfully we got together during the audition

(11:46):
process and they decided to take a look at me
for Kevin. But here's an amazing thing, Mario, I don't
know if you've heard this. The other two people in
the end that were up for the role of Kevin
Malone Eric stone Street from Modern Family and Jorge Garcia from.

Speaker 5 (12:03):
Lost and many other things.

Speaker 7 (12:05):
So it ended up working out for all of us.
I think wow, And that to me is really cool.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
That is very cool. That's why I like those kind
of stories. Like I was just talking Eric McCormick the
other day and it was I think down to him
and I think he said Matt LeBlanc on Friends, but
then obviously worked out for him a few years later
with Will and Grace. So I was like, look at that.
Sometimes you know, it just meant to be right there.
All right, Brian hayk tight a little more music and
we're gonna come back and wrap it up. Rab it

(12:32):
over Brian Baumgartner from NBC's The Office. Mario Lopez here
and Brian, before you go, man, National Chili Day was
the other day? Did you make anything from your book?

Speaker 5 (12:40):
I made some chili. I sure did a little chicken
white bean chili.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
There you go.

Speaker 5 (12:47):
It was it was I mean, I have to celebrate, right,
It's like it's like my Christmas.

Speaker 7 (12:51):
So I did do that, and I'm I'm heading this
weekend actually with Bush's be who I don't know if
you know they make the best chili beans. Okay, I'm
going to the SEC Championship Game or SEC Championship Basketball tournament,
which should be amazing I'm really excited about being there

(13:12):
this weekend in Nashville to have a good time and
watch some great basketball.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
Good for you, man, We'll have a good time out
there and listen everyone be sure to catch Brian and
suits La which is streaming now on Peacock and Hulu.

This is from at John Shanny Hahn.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
No on Shanahan. They said, do you.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
Ever feel like you're in season five or six of
your life? And the writers are just doing crazy stuff
to keep it interesting.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
No, John Shanny this year, Yes, because season five and
six is usually when you wrap it up and that's it.
I'm not trying to wrap it up and have my
life overright. Most shows don't really go beyond Most shows
don't go beyond a season or two. Yeah, and five
or six is like the small minority of shows like
Friends went ten or something. But that's an anomaly, right,

(15:32):
Fraser went ten, Right, so that's that's an anomaly. And
I'm not down to have only four more seasons in
my life.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
Well, oh, sir, Johnny Shanahan, be glad that you're still
getting these little crazy stuff happening, because the next thing
would be dead.

Speaker 5 (15:44):
Yeah, we don't want that.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
Or Mario Lopez coming up, al Mario Courtney Lopez music
rolls on. But with Saint Patrick's Day coming up this weekend,
some of us are already vowing not to overdo the alcohol.
One recommendation with social media is to do a water sandwich,
so when you drink your glass of water between drinks.
Very smart move, actually, doctor say, it really does work.
I can speak from experience. It does help drinking water

(16:08):
in between your moos intake reduces hydration and will likely
cause us to drink less alcohol and it'll ease the hangover.
Don't forget to hydrate. And also before you go to bed,
take either two tailanol or motrin and that also helps. Yes,
it does. Oh, Mario Courtney Lopez about to head home
for the night. Just got to squeeze in one last thing,

(16:28):
hang tight for that.

Speaker 3 (16:29):
Got time for a request or two as well. So
you got a song you want to hear. Just slide
into our DMS over on Instagram at on with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (16:39):
You're on with Mario on Corda Lopez about to head
home for the night. That's your new nickname. I think, honey,
that I'm not taking responsibility for claiming, but I think
I'm gonna throw it in there once in a while.
You like quarto final whatever, oh final whatever? Oh? Anyway,
after about to head home, one last thing this Friday,
World Sleep Day. Yes. Yes. New study from Kayak finds

(17:04):
that eighty five percent of Americans feel sleep deprived. Amen,
we're in that percentage those people say they'd like to
take a sleep cation this year. Of course, some places
are better for these vacations that prioritize sleep as they
offer a good air quality, are close to nature, and
have low noise pollution. They found the most RESTful getaway
destination is split Croatia, followed by Canada and Iceland and Portugal.

(17:29):
If you want a good week of sleep, you'll need
your passport. The only US spot to make their top
forty elevenworth Washington. You know what, Believe it or not.
The Lopezes catch up on rest in Las Vegas, Nevada,
the noisiest town in the world that never sleeps. But
how much rest do we desp I know why though.
It's the curtains in the hotel. We make it really cold,

(17:51):
we make it really dark, and it's really not loud
when you're up in the room. And we slept almost
to one in the after noon. Wasn't that awesome?

Speaker 3 (18:02):
Our house could have been on fire. I didn't care.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
One in the afternoon.

Speaker 5 (18:05):
You're like, what's her name?

Speaker 2 (18:06):
In white lotus? I slept like a corpse.

Speaker 1 (18:12):
More Mario Lopez coming up.
