Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're on with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Have way through the week time for some Wednesday radio
fid Mario Courtney Lopez. Here a bit of a way
back Wednesday too, as we catch up with Clay Aiken
and Rubens Stuttered a little later they were just revealed
as the beats on the Mass Singer.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
Plus, we'll see what's trending in the buzz, take up
a new case in Courtney's court, and more so, turn
it up, peeps, you're not with Mario and Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
On Mario Courtney Lopez digging into the bus for a
little met Gala follow.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Us on with Mario Hollywood Bus.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
So we didn't have a chance to really talk about
this yesterday, but the met Gala went down Monday night,
basically Halloween for celebrities. This year's theme a garden in time,
and as always, the star has got real creative. Lona
del Ray channeled an enchanting forest fairy. She kind of
looked like she could catch a bunch of flies in

(00:54):
those fly nets.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
She probably did.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
Actually, yeah, she looked like she would be in a
garden right literally. Kim Ka wore an extreme corset to
make her wate even smaller. And with a sheer metal dress.
I don't know how this days.

Speaker 4 (01:09):
In theme, but it's the fence for the garden.

Speaker 5 (01:12):
The rake.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Yeah, Dua Lipa wore a striking vampi ensemble. Okay, she
was a vampire in the garden.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
And Gigi hadid needed five people to help her walk
the carpet.

Speaker 6 (01:24):
I also saw tila.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
That was made out of sand and she could walk.
They literally had to lift her up the steps.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
I saw that chat that was I think one of
the more conservative outfits and she but I loved it.
I'm really pretty good, but I saw people lifting her
every step. I'm like, wait what? And then there was
wardrobe changes. Where do people change change? A bunch of
them change. Where do they change? How do they fit
in the cab? How do you I don't think they're

(01:54):
taking a cab. Okay, in the car. They're getting there
in a car.

Speaker 6 (01:56):
Right cel room, right next to the gap.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
Some of them have outfits that are so large they
wouldn't fit in most cars. You're right, so that's.

Speaker 7 (02:04):
What I'm saying. I have so many questions.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
It is bizarre alonmrio dot com. But check out all
your faves for Mario Lopez coming up Music rolls on
Mario Courtney Lopez the Air with a quick look at
what's new on TV and streaming.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
Investigation Discovery and Max have in Pursuit with John Walsh,
the former America's Most Wanted host, continues to search for
fugitives on the run and missing children.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Unfortunately, we'll never have a shortage of fugitives on the
run and missing children.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
No Terrible and Sci Fi has the season two premiere
of Reginald the Vampire and a world populated by beautiful,
fit and vain vampires. Reginald tumbles into it were they
in La so funny?

Speaker 2 (02:48):
Well, all vampires are any vampire movie I've ever seen,
they're always felt, they're always lean.

Speaker 6 (02:53):
Yeah, because they're dead.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
Yeah, Reginald is not. Apparently he's a little tubby.

Speaker 7 (02:56):
Yeah, that's kind of funny. A chubby vampire's funny.

Speaker 5 (02:59):
I like that.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
So if you miss anything from the show or just
want to relive something you heard, gotta go subscribe to
our On with Mario Daily podcasts.

Speaker 7 (03:07):

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Mario, Courtney Lopez, and I think we're gonna squeeze in
some fresh justice while we have a minute, all rise
at his time for Courtney's Court.

Speaker 6 (03:35):
Do we have a plank?

Speaker 3 (03:36):
We have the bailiff here, actual we have an actual
bailiff in court, and he's sleeping correct correct.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
Actually what he wants is what he does, it work.

Speaker 7 (03:45):
What he doesn't work. It's great. Best job ever.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
This is from at John Tobers and my brother finally
admitted to doing something that I took the blame for
over thirty years ago, and I got into serious trouble
back in the day again for something I didn't even do.
I feel like I should get to do something to
get him back. But my wife says that's just childish.
Please tell her she's wrong.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Look, you know, I think brothers and sisters always take
the blame for something here and there, one time and another.
I think it's just you know, something you can laugh
about and look back on it. Now, tell your parents
the truth and maybe they can punish him in a
different way. And if you want to play a little
prank on him, that's fine too, But I don't think

(04:28):
it should get serious.

Speaker 7 (04:30):
Not serious.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
But I think he can be vindictive only because it's
his brother. If it wasn't his brother, then it would
just be petty. He needs to get over because if
it's your brother, you can always kind of h lifelong feuds.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Like yeah, order in the court. I didn't tell you
you could talk, but that's.

Speaker 6 (04:46):
What I think.

Speaker 7 (04:47):
Get your sleepy bailiff on me.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
Then he's unconscious.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
More Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Keeping the music and fun coming your way, Old Mario
and Courtney Lopez is to tell us what's trending over
on the website right now.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
Well, as we discussed earlier, all the looks from this
week's Met Gala. Tons of photos from that, so that
should be fun. Highlights from last weekend's iHeart Country Festival,
and Billie Eilish has revealed a special way her fans
can listen to her new album Early Okay. You can
go to Onwithmarrio dot com for all of that and more.

Speaker 7 (05:24):

Speaker 2 (05:25):

this Wednesday. Matter of fact, just a few songs away
from today's birthday shout outs. So why don't we go
ahead and see what obscure holiday we're recognizing today?

Speaker 6 (05:36):
Today is National Bike to School Day.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
I never rode my bike to school. I used to
love riding my bike just all over the neighborhood. Yeah,
but I never rode it to school.

Speaker 7 (05:47):
Me neither neither think me.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
My high school was like a forty five minute drive,
so that would have taken That would have taken a minute.

Speaker 7 (05:53):
Yeah, and there's a lot of hills in Pittsburgh.

Speaker 6 (05:56):

Speaker 7 (06:15):

Speaker 4 (06:16):
He had quite the little career for ten minutes.

Speaker 7 (06:19):
How old is he?

Speaker 2 (06:20):

Speaker 2 (08:30):
At All Mariolopez on IG for all that and more. Yoon,
Mario Courtney Lopez. We just mentioned my sinkle to Mario
fun in Texas a bit ago. Really nice out there,
the folks, and they really came out to support, and
it reminded me of something that happened.

Speaker 7 (08:46):
I don't even know if I talked to you about it, honey.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
I may have, but one of the appearances where I
was signing tequila bottles and taking pictures with folks, a
couple girls, young girls like the twenties that had to
be in their twenties, one might have even been late teens,
asked go on.

Speaker 7 (09:04):
Asked me to sign their arm, and one of them
said specifically.

Speaker 6 (09:09):
Her arm, not somewhere else, her arm, her.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
Forearm to be specific, and asked me to do it
because she said she was going to go get a tattooed.

Speaker 7 (09:16):
And I said, oh no, don't do that. I said,
you can't be serious.

Speaker 8 (09:19):
That's a weird thing that people do. I've seen other
people do that. I've never understood it myself.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
I thought she was joking, and I said, please don't
do this, but just in case she wasn't. The girl
that asked me, I signed it on a forum, but
I made it really kind of small, and then a
couple other girls asked too, but they didn't mention they
were going to get the tattoo. I just thought whatever
they wanted to sign, so I signed it regular, not
concentrating like I did the other one kind of sloppy
and big.

Speaker 7 (09:44):
Well, when I had my.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
Appearance the next day, these girls showed up and showed
me the tattoo they got on their arm. And it
wasn't just the signature, you know how Sharpie's leave it
kind of thick. They got it thick like the sharpie.
I could not believe it, and I felt so bad.
I wanted to like the mom was there too, but
he made the choice, So I know you. I just said,

(10:05):
because I didn't know, I would have made it nicer.

Speaker 7 (10:08):
I guess I just wouldn't have. I wouldn't have probably didn't.
I didn't think they would.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
Just got a Mario Lopez sleeve now available at your local.
A tatoo. You're not lying.

Speaker 9 (10:15):
It's the size of and I signed it.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
It's probably from the wrist to halfway up the forum.

Speaker 4 (10:21):
That's like half the size of your normal saty.

Speaker 7 (10:22):
And it wasn't inside the forearm.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
It was outside the forearm, and it tripped me out.

Speaker 6 (10:27):
They're gonna murder me. Those are cyclos in that.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
Wild more Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 7 (10:34):
What a mare, Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
You're quickly putting a spotlight on my wife because it's
time for Courtney's random thought.

Speaker 7 (10:40):
What do you got, honey?

Speaker 6 (10:41):
So first grade is wild though?

Speaker 9 (10:45):
Oh is it?

Speaker 6 (10:46):
It's like we threw ragers every day.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
No, no, no, you're learning to be a human, how
to write things down, how to manage friendships, follow rules,
all while everybody's teeth are falling out all over the place.

Speaker 7 (10:59):
That's true.

Speaker 6 (11:00):
It's kind of like full circle because when you get older, that's.

Speaker 4 (11:04):
Exactly right, and you're forgetting how to write things.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
Down, forget you have to learn, and you're so far.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
Out and you failed to mention. You're also learning how
to control your bladder you get older. That's an issue too.

Speaker 7 (11:14):
It always comes.

Speaker 4 (11:15):
Back to the bathroom for you, doesn't it.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
I'm always top of mine, Top of mine. Music rolls
on as a fire up Zoom, Mario Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 7 (11:36):
Here we all got to know.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
Today's guest way back during season two of American Idol.

Speaker 3 (11:39):
Now, they were just revealed as the beats on the
Mask Singer and of course I'm talking about Clay Aigan
and Ruben Studdard and they join us next.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
Mario Lopez joining me now on zoom the Beats from
the Mask Singer Ruben Stutter to Clay Aiken, Welcome to
the show, gentlemen.

Speaker 7 (11:56):
How are you man?

Speaker 9 (11:57):
You and Will sir? How are you to be here?

Speaker 2 (12:00):
Well, I'm well, thank you for taking the time. So
which one of you needed to be talked into doing
the mass singer?

Speaker 9 (12:06):
Neither one of we both we both were.

Speaker 5 (12:08):
We both had been looking for the stupidest possible thing
to do, and math singer it was.

Speaker 9 (12:14):
I mean, just it's a ridiculously silly.

Speaker 5 (12:19):
I mean, it's brilliant and its stupidity, by the way,
and we had been on tour together. We were on
tour when it when we got called, and the opportunity
for us to sing on stage together without having to
see each other's faces was just too good to pass up.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
I love it and I love seeing you guys together. Man,
I remember the season of Idle when y'all came out.
It seems like yesterday. I can't believe how many years
ago was that now?

Speaker 1 (12:43):
One years?

Speaker 4 (12:44):
Damn, twenty one years ago.

Speaker 7 (12:46):
That's crazy, possible, that's wild. You know what's weird?

Speaker 2 (12:49):
Correct me if I'm wrong, Clay. But for some reason,
I remember I was watching TV live that day you
auditioned with Always in Forever.

Speaker 7 (12:56):
Did you not.

Speaker 1 (12:58):
Damn.

Speaker 7 (12:58):
Is that pretty good?

Speaker 9 (13:00):
That's good because I was like, and Ruben and I close.

Speaker 5 (13:03):
Our tour with always in Forever, So it's a very
full circle.

Speaker 7 (13:05):
Did you really the song?

Speaker 5 (13:07):
We opened it with the song he auditioned with and
we and we close it with the song on.

Speaker 7 (13:11):
Isn't that a trip that I remember?

Speaker 1 (13:12):
That?

Speaker 10 (13:12):
So?

Speaker 4 (13:12):
Mario?

Speaker 9 (13:13):
Amazing?

Speaker 2 (13:13):
Yeah, twenty one because I remember because that song, that
song you.

Speaker 9 (13:17):
Had remembered enough to vote for me, and then maybe.

Speaker 7 (13:19):
It was seems like you did all right, but man,
oh that's crazy.

Speaker 9 (13:24):
No one man that that wouldn't helped you too much.
That one.

Speaker 7 (13:31):
That's awesome. I love it all right, guys hate side.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
Gonna take a quick break and then we're gonna have
more with Claike and Ruben Studdedpez Mario Lopez talking the mask,
singing with Claik and Ruben stuttered uh, just reeled as
the beats. And it seems like the show is almost
more of a showcase and a competition because like the
costumes are a factor, right, because they're not going to me.
It seems like on just pur ability or maybe that's

(13:55):
just my tap well.

Speaker 10 (13:57):
I think also, you know, depending on how the costume
is designed, it gives a certain person the edge in
their performance, Like we couldn't do very much dancing because
we couldn't see.

Speaker 7 (14:08):
But right, Gumball exactly or.

Speaker 9 (14:10):
Whoever or whatever.

Speaker 10 (14:12):
The some of the other contestants have more freedom in
their costumes to do their Mario Lopez impersonation.

Speaker 7 (14:18):
Hey, and he did.

Speaker 5 (14:20):
And you know what, and it is we've already established that.
I mean, it is a competition to some degree. But
Ruben and I recognized that we got further on American
Idol because of our physical beauty, and that's clearly why
we made it to first and second then and since
people could not see us our stunning physical beauty on

(14:41):
Mass Singer, that's why we went home a little earlier.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
That has to be it, right, I think there's there's
definitely some credibility.

Speaker 9 (14:48):
That's my theory.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
All right, We've got to play some music right now,
so Clay, Ruben hang on more with Claike and Ruben
Studdard coming up talking the Mass Singer with Claike and
Rubens stutter Jarl Mario Lowe as and quickly going back
to idle for a second. Rubin, I don't remember when
you audition. I just probably didn't see that particular episode
you mentioned.

Speaker 7 (15:06):
You do always in.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
Forever in your your set list, you open right with
it or you're close with it.

Speaker 7 (15:10):
Which one? What was your your audition song?

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Because you said that's in your set list too, right?

Speaker 10 (15:15):
My? My, My original audition song is Ribbon in the Sky.
But the song that people are most known for is
the song I sung to make it to the top team,
which is Superstar.

Speaker 7 (15:29):
Right, I remember that one. Okay?

Speaker 2 (15:30):
So what else is in the set list for your
shows that y'all do together?

Speaker 3 (15:35):
Man?

Speaker 9 (15:36):
Everything? Everything? We are such versatile performers. We can sing everything.

Speaker 7 (15:42):
I love it.

Speaker 10 (15:42):
Our show was about and our show was taking people
through like the breath of our careers and life idol
and also the things that we've done. So we talk
about we sing songs from all the people that were
guest judges on our show. A lot of the people
that we've had the opportunity to work with that we
consider to consider and the world considers to be legend.

(16:02):
And we usually we grew up on yes.

Speaker 5 (16:06):
Boy dance songs. We do a little boy band medley.
You get to see my incredible dancing skills, okay, or not.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
Too all right, all right, we'll hang on, guys, a
little more music. Then we're gonna come back with Clay
Ak and rubenstuff. Getting back to Claik and Ruben Stutter,
who are hanging on zoom Mario Lopez here. So you've
done the mass singer together. I know you toured together.
Have you ever consider doing a duet?

Speaker 9 (16:26):
We actually, actually so we did.

Speaker 5 (16:28):
We we did a Broadway show together, Ruben and Clay's
first annual Christmas Carol some long ridiculous name back in
twenty eighteen, and we recorded a Holy Night from there
and okay out but we but we're old, and we
forgot how to put it. We didn't know how to
put it on streaming places, so I don't think people
heard it. I'm not even joking about that. We have

(16:49):
no clue. That's how old and I don't. I haven't
sung or I haven't done any of that myself in years,
so I didn't know how to do any of it
at all. I gave that up. So we got to
find that we should you record one moment.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
You don't hear too many these these days.

Speaker 7 (17:04):
You don't hear too many duets two males.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
But I remember back in the day, Paul McCartney Michael
Jackson had a couple with they say and the Girl
is Mine and Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney.

Speaker 7 (17:14):
They had good y'all should.

Speaker 9 (17:16):
Like's favorite songs more than words?

Speaker 2 (17:17):
Remember that from the Extreme Early Night Extreme y'all should
do Islands in the Stream remake that.

Speaker 5 (17:24):
One that was That was Kenny, That was Kenny Rogers
and Dolly Park.

Speaker 7 (17:29):
No, I know, I'm just saying, doing new take on it.
That's yes.

Speaker 9 (17:34):
Two guys first, Oh, there you go.

Speaker 7 (17:35):
Go, that's right, that's right. Well, three guys actually would work.
Three guys, right, that would work well.

Speaker 2 (17:39):
Clay and Ruben Stutter are hanging out on zoom with us.
One more thing I want to ask.

Speaker 7 (17:42):
We're going to take a quick break, come back.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
And wrap it up for Mario Lopez wrapping up with
Claike and Ruben Stutter drawing Mario Lopez and I know
you're both the dads.

Speaker 7 (17:52):
What are the kids ages right now?

Speaker 5 (17:53):
And what are the intwo Well, mine's mine's into getting
ready to drive.

Speaker 9 (17:57):
Moneth's old. He's got making me old. He's a turn
at sixteen this summer.

Speaker 5 (18:02):
And we're in the process of arguing about what, if
any car he will get when he's sixteen, and Ruben
is on the other end of the spectrum.

Speaker 10 (18:12):
I am I'm wiping down picostal arts off the wall
right now.

Speaker 5 (18:19):
We've been doing We've been doing interviews all day, and
in the middle of one of them, Olivia walked behind
Ruben on the wall and he looked right at the camera,
and he took a marker and he doodled on the wall,
and Ruben stayed stonefaced the whole time and did not break.
And then Lyvia looked right back of the camera, went
and walked off of the funniest thing in the.

Speaker 7 (18:39):
World player, move right there.

Speaker 9 (18:40):
I like it.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
Good for you, man, Good for you. I love seeing
you guys together. Congratulations on everything, and listen. The mass
Singer continues Wednesdays on Fox. Clay Ruben hope to see y'
all in person soon.

Speaker 10 (18:53):
That will be good.

Speaker 9 (18:54):
It's good.

Speaker 7 (18:56):
Mario and Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
Here a little reminder, stay up late if you happen
to be a k The Elephant fan and.

Speaker 3 (19:01):
The band is taking the stage on Kimmelton Night said,
Myers has the Indigo Girls, and you.

Speaker 6 (19:05):

The first was a bust and my husband really wants
to make this one special, but I'm so exhausted that
I just can't think of any ideas and my husband
keeps asking thoughts.

Speaker 7 (19:38):
Well your mom, honey, what do you think?

Speaker 3 (19:41):
Well, you know, it all depends on what you want.
Like if you if you're truly so exhausted and it's
Mother's Day, you can do whatever you want.

Speaker 7 (19:50):
If you don't be suggesting any five k's.

Speaker 3 (19:52):

Speaker 7 (19:57):
No, not by k.

Speaker 4 (19:57):
Cash way always goes back to money.

Speaker 6 (20:03):

Speaker 7 (20:05):
There you go.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
You can get out for a couple hours and have
a massage and a facial back to back.

Speaker 6 (20:09):
That's a nice little relaxing.

Speaker 4 (20:10):
Timep right after that, that's something.

Speaker 6 (20:12):

Took a little cheer trip like that.

Speaker 6 (21:32):
That's how Gray.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
She's the first Grammy I've ever met. I know Granny,
but not Grammy. Anyway, the three ladies took a little
trip to Orlando, Florida for a big cheer competition. Really
the Super Bowl cheer competition.

Speaker 7 (21:47):
Is this summit? Correct?

Speaker 6 (21:48):
This summit?

Speaker 3 (21:49):
Yes, it's a national competition and it is something I like,
I've never experienced before. I mean, I thought Jojo Siwah
would have been a her prime with all these big bows.

Speaker 7 (22:02):
And you ran into Snooky.

Speaker 3 (22:05):
I ran into Snookies Snookie cheer and Snooky's daughter because
we follow each other on Instagram, so I've seen her daughter.
She's a cheerleader and she's super super cute. She was
actually against our daughter and they once Snookie took first place,
our daughter took second place.

Speaker 2 (22:21):
Which is really impressive considering the top teams in the nation,
and then thirty of them go and ten app to
qualify for the next day.

Speaker 5 (22:28):
That was very.

Speaker 3 (22:28):
Impressive about I don't know exactly, but it was around
thirty to thirty five fifteen went to the next day.
Hers was a very big category for some reason. There
was a lot of competition, and then it was Snooky's.

Speaker 6 (22:44):
Daughter and then our daughter. I have video of them
with their groups and.

Speaker 3 (22:49):
They of course they were upset because they didn't win,
but when you're that close to number one, you're bummed out.
But they were for GA's first competition, it was just
it was amazing and it.

Speaker 4 (22:59):
Looks like she still got to go to Disney.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
We got to go to Disney, and you have to
come next year. You just have to be there for
at least one day to experience it.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
You're a cheer mom. I like it more Mario Lopez
on the way, all right, that's gonna do it big.
Thanks again to Klaig and a Ruben Studdard for zooming
in on Mario dot com for more my chat with
him and more fun.

Speaker 3 (23:17):
