believe only once to do one season because the makeup
procedure was so horrendous that he doesn't want to go
through it again.

Was awful, But the real life documentaries aren't come on pair.

You know why.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
I'm more of a bather.
Speaker 4 (02:12):
I like to take the bats, but you don't bathe
in the bath either, Well.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
Because you jack my bath. Now my son.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
Wait what, our youngest Santino now takes my bath time
at night, and he's got two hundred toys in there,
so by the time I get him, I don't feel
like taking it.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
You're gonna tell me?
Speaker 5 (02:26):
I mean, you can't take his toys out? Put your
toys in it?
Speaker 2 (02:28):
Right, it's a whole thing. It's a whole thing. Can
you help me out with that?
Speaker 4 (02:31):
Another thing on my list? Absolutely?
Speaker 1 (02:33):
Well.
Speaker 4 (02:34):
It turns out that there are a number of natural
health benefits associated with singing in the shower. It lowers
your blood pressure. Singing reduces cortisol, which causes all kinds
of inflammation in the body. See if you just go
in there.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
You just deflate, Okay.
Speaker 4 (02:46):
It helps our immune system. Singing increases a chemical that
can fight against infection, and it reduces stress and anxiety.
Singing releases oxytocin that can elevate your mood, and it
helps you stay fit. Singing works the hard to reach
muscles between your ribs. See you just sing in the
shower and you don't.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
Have to go to the gym.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
Look at that, Look at all the benefits.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
I'm going to start belting it out.

mangoes and pineapple.
Speaker 3 (03:49):

on this earth this long? I've not heard of a
pop pop I've.

telling a faux pas instead of a papa. Let's see,
paw paw. You're right, a papa fruit. Oh look, wait,
I know I've seen a papa.
Speaker 5 (04:10):

those big brown seeds. It's very tasty. I haven't seen one.

In years, Paul, rank in your fruit ranking.
Speaker 2 (04:22):

Speaker 3 (04:23):
First of all, I did not know. You don't You

get these all the time. Yes, and I never knew
what they were called.
Speaker 6 (04:30):
Pa.
Speaker 3 (04:31):
Yeah, it's very tasty. The only thing about the papa
they have these big old seeds and you can't get
rid of them. I've never seen one without it.
Speaker 4 (04:37):
They don't have seedless papas, they.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
Don't, but the seeds themselves are not bad.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
I don't know if you're supposed to eat them, but
accidentally bit into one and it doesn't taste bad and
it's not it's not so bad.
Speaker 2 (04:46):

Speaker 2 (04:55):
Time to get your comments.
Speaker 3 (04:57):
What do you have today, honey?
Speaker 4 (04:58):
This is from at legend of the dip, and they said,
I would so put that Officer Big Mac in my
front yard. There was nothing cooler back in the day
than a birthday party in the McDonald's caboos.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
I remember that legend of the dip is referring to
something I posted where McDonald's or an individual is selling
Officer Big Mac, which is this big Mac sort of
looking cheeseburger thing and you can go inside and climb
and play, to which I said, I wonder what that's
going for. I wonder what something like that is going for,
because you're big, by the way, right, it's big.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
It's like it's a for the playground. What a random
big to sell. Let's look into it.
Speaker 4 (05:35):
Okay, your birthday's coming up, that's right, true.
Speaker 1 (05:40):

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Okay? Okay?
Speaker 5 (06:05):
Kim Richards from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Escape to
Which Mountain? Quite the resume?
Speaker 4 (06:12):

Speaker 5 (06:18):
Is crracked? Okay? She's the one that stole from Target?
Speaker 4 (06:21):
Yepkay, no dollar section.
Speaker 5 (06:22):
Okay, it wasn't sure, so I didn't lead with that.
Speaker 3 (06:24):
Well that's not Kyle, that's right, that's yeah, right. And
Jeremy Irons one. Most importantly, he played Scar in The
Lion King.
Speaker 5 (06:33):
Yeah yeah, Jeremy. So he won an Oscar, two Golden Globes,
three Emmys, a Tony and he played Scar on The
Lion King.
Speaker 4 (06:39):
You know what, he did not play a commercial for
an Iron like they should be like Jeremy Irons and
then he's ironing.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
Jeremy iron is war golf clubs.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
Right, Jeremy is seventy two.
Speaker 6 (06:52):
I don't golf.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (06:55):
Jeremy is seventy five.
Speaker 5 (06:56):
Seventy six.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
Really good.
Speaker 1 (06:59):
Mario Lopez coming up, Mario.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
Courtney Lopez, here is some quick buzz for you.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
The Emmys made a comeback in the ratings after a
record low in January. Almost seven million people tune in
to ABC on Sunday night. That's a rise of more
than fifty percent. However, you got to keep in mind
that the last award show was going up against a
huge NFL playoff game, and it was also in the
middle of a strike. There was many, many factors, but
(07:26):
I think something that did contribute or Dan and Eugene
Levy being host. They got solid reviews, They stayed out
of politics, They weren't like shaming anyone.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
They just had good old fashioned comedies.
Speaker 4 (07:37):
They just did their job.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
They just did their job. That's exactly right. Okay, let's
get back to the music.
Speaker 2 (07:55):
What on Mario Courtney Lopez.
Speaker 6 (07:57):
Here.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
Today's guest is one of the actresses from Amazon's The
Rings of Power.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
It's Cynthia Die Robinson.
Speaker 4 (08:02):
She's also teaming up with man Aflack for the Accountant too,
and we'll get the inside scoop outer fore you more songs.
Speaker 3 (08:09):
It's Uberal Mario Lopez joining me on Zoom for the
Lord of the Rings The Rings of Power actress Cynthia
Di Robinson. Welcome to the show. Thank you so much
for having me, well, thank you for taking the time.
Congrats on all the success of the show.
Speaker 2 (08:22):
I was a huge fan of Lord of the Rings.
Were you before you got this role?
Speaker 6 (08:27):
Absolutely? I mean, the films are obviously classics, and it's
kind of crazy to believe, what are we on the
twentieth or about twenty years or so since the films
came out. So it's quite an honor to be part
of our series version of Lord of the Rings Drinks
(08:48):
of Power and really for a.
Speaker 2 (08:50):
New generation of viewers, you.
Speaker 6 (08:52):
Know, hopefully inspire them and sort of bring that same
you know, epic scope and cinematic storytelling. We're just very
excited that the show is receiving so much love and yeah,
I'm of course thrilled that I somehow have found myself
in the middle of middle Earth.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
Basically a very good well.
Speaker 3 (09:12):
New episodes of The Rings of Power era Thursdays on Amazon.
All right, let's take a quick break and we'll have
more with Cynthia die Robinson.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
More fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 3 (09:22):
Mario Lopez here hanging out with actress Cynthia die Robinson
from The Rings of Power.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
Now I read.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
That it is the most expensive show ever created. The
budget is just supposed to be bonkers. Is the sets
just absolutely incredible? Where's all the dough going?
Speaker 6 (09:43):
You know, it's funny because you know, we get asked
that as actors, but you know, we're not, at the
end of the day, ultimately responsible for the budget. So
I can't necessarily speak to that. But what I can
say is, if you're going to bring a story of
this magnitude in side to the screen, at this point,
we have the resources to create something for streaming that
(10:08):
you know, really is on a level of you know,
some of the biggest films, and with eight episodes per season,
it's almost like we're making four films. And in order
to show Middle Earth and all its glory, you know,
you really do have to kind of have all of
these different landscapes, and so we have not only our
(10:28):
beautiful set design, but we also have our location shoots,
and so I think for the viewers, you know, getting
to see creatures and far flung lands and things like that,
I mean, you've got to have the resources to tell
the story, right, So I think that in a lot
of ways, you step on a set and you know
you're just in awe of everything, But ultimately it's still
(10:52):
about the story. It's still about you know, us as
a cast, sort of breathing life into these characters and
telling the stories as you know best as we can.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
Well. The Rings of Power only available on Amazon.
Speaker 3 (11:07):
Hang on, Cynthia, I gotta play some music, Mario Lopez
here with tar Muriel from the Rings of Power actress
Cynthia die Robinson.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
So where do you film?
Speaker 6 (11:16):
So season two, we did most of our filming in
the United Kingdom, just outside of London. But for certain landscapes,
you know, in season two we're showing a variety of landscapes,
so sometimes we need, you know, something that the desert
to the middle of the desert or the coastline. And
for those filming locations, we got to go to Tenerif
(11:40):
in the Canary Island, so you know, I particularly love
filming there. We had an incredible team down there. But yeah,
I mean, for those who are super familiar with Tolkien,
I mean his sort of vision and storytelling in a
lot of ways is quint essentially English. We often associate
(12:01):
Lord of the Rings of New Zealanders. Of course, that's
where Peter Jackson films and have stunning locations and an
absolutely beautiful country. But tolkien sort of mythology is pulling
from a lot of different cultures, but in a lot
of ways it is kind of a very English sort
of mythology. So it's pretty cool to have done the
(12:22):
second season and really taking advantage of the landscape and
talent there.
Speaker 3 (12:26):
That's awesome. Well, new episodes air Thursdays on Amazon. Hang on,
Cynthia got to get back some music. Jol Maria Lopez
got actress Cynthia die Robinson on Zoom with me and
we've been talking about Lord of the Rings the Rings
of Power and is there already a timeline for season three?
Speaker 6 (12:43):
I don't know, you'd have to ask the powers that be.
I mean, there's obviously a lot more story to tell,
and so we certainly are are hopeful that we get
to tell it, and I know that the showrunners certainly
have their broader maps out. But yeah, I mean obviously
(13:03):
the first two seasons. We're still releasing season two, so
I believe this Thursday where we've got our sixth episode out,
So we're releasing weekly up until the last episode eight.
So if you're still playing catch up, the first five
episodes are available. But yes, we are hopeful to continue
(13:24):
telling this story.
Speaker 3 (13:25):
Well, I go one more thing I want to ask you,
but I got to take a break. I'm gonna wrap
it with Cynthia die Robinson in just a moment.
Speaker 1 (13:30):
We you're the full interview now at on with Mario
dot Com. More Mario Lopez on the way.
Speaker 3 (13:36):
Mario Lopez here rapping things up with actress Cynthia die
Robinson and also in the works The Accountant too with
Ben Athleck.
Speaker 2 (13:43):
What's your character doing in this one?
Speaker 6 (13:45):
She's doing a lot. I can't tell you everything he's doing,
but yeah, I mean the first Accountant, which still you know,
gets a lot of love. I get stuffed all the time,
and I'm very proud of I've been part of the
first one that was years ago, believe it or not,
and it's still very much alive and well, when I'm
on an airplane, I occasionally see it or on cable
(14:08):
or Netflix. And so when I got the call that
there was going to be a continuation of the storyline,
I was ecstatic and I'm just excited for people to
see it. I finally got the chance to even work
with Ben Affleck and John Burnhaal in this film, because
in the first one I never shared an extreme time
with them, So you know, when I read the script,
(14:30):
I was thrilled. I think the audience that loved the
first one is going to love the second one even more.
So look out for that. It's going to be April
twenty twenty five, so a little bit of a wait,
but very very excited for the sequel.
Speaker 3 (14:42):
Well, congratulations on everything you've got going on. Meanwhile, new
episodes of The Rings of Power debut Thursdays on Amazon.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
Cynthia, thanks so much for your time today. Thank you
very much, Mario Courtney Lopez.
Speaker 3 (14:57):
Here, Donald Lover says he wants to bring the fun
back to Star Wars. Look at our neighbor wilding out
right here. He's working on a movie about Lando Kyle Rissian,
who he played in the twenty eighteen film Solo. Ironically,
that film got somewhat panned and didn't really do well
at the box office. But he says the recent Star
Wars projects have gotten so serious, but since Lando is
more of a scoundrel, he wants to lighten it up
(15:20):
a bit.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
Well, maybe he'll get another show. We'll see.
Speaker 4 (15:22):
Okay. Well, when I see that little Mandalorian thing walking
towards me, I always giggle.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
J'morrow, Courtney Lopez. Time to put on our thinking caps.
Let's get to Courtney's random question. What you got, honey augh?
Speaker 4 (15:35):
Spooky time. Spooky season is coming upon us everybody at
the happiest time of year. So if you were suddenly
transported into a scary movie, which villain do you think
you'd have the best chance.
Speaker 5 (15:46):
At defeating Jamie Lee Curtis in Halloween.
Speaker 3 (15:49):
Well, she does fall as the villain, I would say,
But I would have to say Michael Myers, speaking of Halloween,
only because he's so slow.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
He's got a slow gate to him. He's slow, but consistent.
He seems to always keep up because he's consistent.
Speaker 3 (16:06):
Just like in life, if you're disciplined and consistent, you
will always catch up. Problem with these people is they
have no game plan. I would set a good game plan,
and like a booby.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
Track, it's just winging it. Yeah, you can't just be
winging it. You've got to come prepare it.
Speaker 3 (16:18):
So I'm going Michael Myers just because of the slow reflexes.
Speaker 1 (16:22):
More Mario Lopez on the way.
Speaker 2 (16:25):
Right up, Mario Lopez here.
Speaker 3 (16:26):
Erser may want to stay clear from Dodger star Mookie Betts.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
This is funny.
Speaker 3 (16:31):
The baseball player took his wife to a concert in
Vegas and Usher started serenading some of the women in
the front row. As he closed in on the Dodger's wife.
Speaker 2 (16:39):
Mooki told him keep it moving or he'd start throwing elbows.
Speaker 3 (16:43):
Usher replied by saying, you'll have another chance when he
comes to LA this weekend.
Speaker 2 (16:47):
That's funny because I follow Mooki.
Speaker 3 (16:51):
That who are dogs named after? By the way, and
he said this, and he posted about this. He said, Usher,
keep it moving.
Speaker 4 (16:57):
That's cute.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
Courtney Lopez here.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
iHeartRadio once again partnering with Global Citizen to bring you
their big festival from Central Park.
Speaker 5 (17:06):

Speaker 2 (17:21):
Y'all, Mario Courtney Lopez time not for one last thing.
Speaker 3 (17:24):
We were talking about one hit Wonders yesterday, so I
thought we'd break down our Mount Rushmore of one hit Wonders.
Now we're doing all time, not by era, right, it's
all times.
Speaker 1 (17:35):
That's rank with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (17:38):
That's rank. That's rank. Okay, all right?
Speaker 4 (17:42):
Who do you got?
Speaker 2 (17:43):
Honey?
Speaker 3 (17:43):
In no particular order, just off the top of my head,
I've said it a bunch. You know what I think
is the best one hint wonder the last twenty years
is got someone I used to know? I mean, isn't
that just a just an awesome, different, haunting song.
Speaker 4 (17:57):
They came out swinging and then we did.
Speaker 5 (17:59):
Just Thankfully he hasn't followed it up with anything.
Speaker 3 (18:02):
He hasn't, but man, that one is great. So I'm
going to go that one in my Mount Rushmore. Then
I'm going to take it back a couple of decades
and I'm gonna go Tainted Love by Soft Cell that
is an eighties classic now that still gets a lot
of radio play till this day.
Speaker 5 (18:17):
But also in the Coneheads movie.
Speaker 3 (18:19):
Yes, I feel like the eighties is the decade of
the one hit one.
Speaker 5 (18:22):
There are some amazing ones here.
Speaker 6 (18:24):
There are.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
For example, I could also say, come on Eileen by
Dexy's Midnight run.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
They're all on your playlist exactly. So those so those
are three? Those are three more? Oh man, those are.
Speaker 4 (18:36):
And I feel like these songs are not one hit
wonders because they are so played out on his playlist
that it.
Speaker 5 (18:42):
Is crazy to hear them so much.
Speaker 4 (18:44):
I hear them so much.
Speaker 3 (18:45):
I'm gonna have to go with something else that's on
my playlist, and it is more on the R and
B side.
Speaker 4 (18:52):
I'm Too Sexy. You play that all the time?
Speaker 3 (18:54):
Yeah, No, I do not play that all the time,
but I do play We don't have.
Speaker 2 (18:58):
To take.
Speaker 3 (19:01):
To have a good time. Jermaine Stewart's jam. That was
you know what?
Speaker 2 (19:06):
I piggybacked that on though, another.
Speaker 5 (19:09):
One hit wonders.
Speaker 2 (19:11):
I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Then I'm gonna take another one off.
Speaker 3 (19:13):
No, I'm gonna take off get comin, Eileen, because I'm
gonna have two Classic Rocks and two R and B.
Just got paid by Johnny Camp just got paid Friday nine,
but his fun thing because again, all those songs still
get love to this day and are on my playlist.
Speaker 2 (19:27):
I'm very happy with my mount Rushman.
Speaker 1 (19:29):
Mario Lopez. We'll be right back.
Speaker 2 (19:31):
All right, that's gonna do it for us today. We're
back tomorrow with actor Josh Rednor from How I Met Your.
Speaker 4 (19:35):
Mother, plus all the action from the iHeartRadio Music Festival.
Until then, this is Mario and Courtney Lopez saying good
Night Loud
Speaker 1 (19:43):
With Mario Lopez
