wife is Puerto Rican. I first got introduced to rum
way back when meeting my now in laws sipping on
it for the first time.

You know, had no choice to try it because I
was being introduced to.

Them and realized, man, premium rum is a really good spirit.
It's not what we all know here in the States,
thinking back to Captain and Coke and you know sugary drinks.
It SIPs so nice and has a lot of different
characteristics to it. So it got me excited and I
wanted to dive in.

Funny that you mentioned Captain and Coke because that was
my very first introductory drink.

I mean, not a beer.

That's kind of the vibe, right, Like people love the
whole thing of being on vacation, and rum is so
popular when you're on the nice beach and resort and
boats and all that, and that's sort of the reminder
of what we kind of felt when we would leave

vacation back at home.

I want to still feel like I'm sitting on something
I love.

And our goal really is to try to bring premium
rum back to the forefront of the State's kind of
like what tequila did when it had its resurgence after
the nineties. You know, tequila but in the past was

be hungover and you'd been drinking it.

You know, listen, you inspired me with your tequila at
one of them. But rum has been something I've been
exploring for a while. You know, obviously you know my
wife is Puerto Rican. I first got introduced to rum
way back when meeting my now in laws sipping on
it for the first time.

You know, had no choice to try it because I
was being introduced to.
Speaker 5 (08:14):
Them and realized, man, premium rum is a really good spirit.
It's not what we all know here in the States,
thinking back to Captain and Coke and you know sugary drinks.
It SIPs so nice and has a lot of different
characteristics to it. So it got me excited and I
wanted to dive in.

Funny that you mentioned Captain and Coke because that was
my very first introductory drink.
Speaker 4 (08:37):
I mean, not a beer.

A beer doesn't count right beers as far as liquor,
Captain and Coke was my first go to drink back

whole thing of being on vacation, and rum is so
popular when you're on the nice beach and resort and
boats and all that, and that's sort of the reminder

And our goal really is to try to bring premium
rum back to the forefront of the State's kind of
like what tequila did when it had its resurgence after

be hungover and you'd been drinking it.

The music community is mourning the loss of Tito Jackson.
He was the oldest brother in the Jackson Five, only
seventy years old. He played guitar and synthesizer in the group.
Tito had been performing with his brothers Marlon and Jackie's recently.
His last week, he suffered a heart attack while driving
from New Mexico to Oklahoma. And again he had just

recently turned seventy. And I think Eddie Murphy made him
really famous during a standout special when he would imitate
Michael Jackson and he would say, Tito, give me a
tissue in his special Delirious, That's what So everybody can
