A lot of fans are not loving the new permanent
flavor of Eminem's that was just announced, Peanut Butter and
jelly Sandwich. The new candy will hit shelves in December.
You know how I feel about peanut butter and jelly honey.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
I hadn't had it.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
It's good for a snack maybe, but this is a snack.
I'm not gonna knock it until I try it.

Speaker 4 (00:46):
We actually have a friend who would love this, Wade.
He just we went to get ice cream last week
and he got peanut butter and jelly flavored ice cream
and I took a taste of it and it was disgusting.
It tasted just like it, but well, I know you're
gonna like this one. I wish they'd make the Crunchy
Espresso flavor permanent. You would love that it was only

(01:08):
out for a limited time back in twenty eighteen.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
So oh, I would love that I didn't get a
chance to try it. Hopefully they'll bring it back. I
sort of like the McRib and McDonald's.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
They bring it back.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
Well, that's coming back, by the way, I just saw
a thing about it. It comes every once in a while.
It's something to look forward to over at Mickeyde's. But yes,
as you know, I love me a coffee espresso flavored
ice cream. I'd be down with an eminem and crunchy.

Speaker 5 (01:30):

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Nobody wants this for season two, and they're switching showing
hers though producers from Girls are now joining the team.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
Okay, I'm sad how you said the title, because normally
you would have said nobody wants.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
This, nobody wants this.

Speaker 6 (02:47):
She just kind of like glazed over, Actually want my daughter?

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Where's that movie?

Speaker 6 (02:50):
Last week?

Speaker 3 (02:51):
Well that's because that was the actually nobody Actually, I
actually would have in going back and doing it again
actually would have hit him with nobody wants this, to
lean into this, nobody wants this anyway. Show's been on
the Netflix Top ten since had launched earlier this month,
so apparently a lot of.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
People do want this. On tomorrow, Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
Thanksgiving coming up on Thursday, of course, so we're trying
to bone up on our Turkey Day knowledge.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
Time for another mini Thanksgiving pop quiz. Let's get our
hands on the buzzes.

Speaker 7 (03:21):
All right, So just three questions. These are multiple choice,
some of them are.

Speaker 6 (03:26):
It's just different from the last one, so we're starting.

Speaker 7 (03:28):
These are different questions. Yeah, what do you mean different
from the last year? Think I'm asking the same questions?

Speaker 4 (03:32):
No, no, no, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
If we are, probably still wouldn't get them.

Speaker 7 (03:34):
It's a continuation of many it's mini quizzes, but each
one has its own set of points, so it's not either.
It's not like we're continuing to add your points together.
But here we go again. Multiple choice, Approximately how many
feathers does a mature turkey have? Is it seven fifty,
fifteen hundred, thirty, five hundred or four thousand? That's Mario

(03:55):
A mature turkey has thirty five hundred. That is correct.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
Say I only deal with mature turkey.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Mature turkeys can step back.

Speaker 7 (04:03):
All right, Here we go another multiple choice. It's one
to zero. How fast can wild turkeys run? Fifteen miles
per hour? Fifty five miles per hour, five miles per
hour or twenty five miles per hour? That is Mario.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
Fifteen months per hour?

Speaker 7 (04:17):
Incorrect?

Speaker 6 (04:18):
You said fifteen, No, he did.

Speaker 7 (04:24):
Fifty five incorrect twenty five miles per hour.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
It has a pretty faster damn turkey one that actually
the twenty five way faster.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
I thought you don't have to run. I'm fifty five.
You run twenty five miles an hour. You don't need
to fly.

Speaker 7 (04:39):
Yeah, fast turkeys are basically the flash. Wow, we didn't
know that.

Speaker 6 (04:43):
We don't want to get killed exactly.

Speaker 7 (04:45):
All right. Last question, it is once zero. This will
be worth thirty thousand points, just so we can end it.
Multiple choice. Which country consumes the most turkeys per year
per capita? Is it Israel? United States, Mexico, Germany? Mario
United States? Incorrect?

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Really someone else needing more turkey?

Speaker 4 (05:07):
I did not buzz, and he buzzed over a year.

Speaker 7 (05:09):
Israel, United States, Mexico, Germany Courtney Israel. That is correct.

Speaker 5 (05:16):
She wins Habby Holidays from the entire on with Mario
fam More festive fun coming up, Olmoro.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
Can't believe Thanksgiving just a few days away, because that
means officially less than a month until Christmas.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Have you done all the shopping yet.

Speaker 4 (05:30):
Honey, I have done all my shopping for myself.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
Great Alimar and Courtney Lopez is another quick reminder to
tune in December fourth as I helped light the Rockefeller
Christmas Tree in New York City once again this year.
A lot of fun performances too. Every year, I dread
the weather. I'm such a whimpy Southern California kid and
they have to put extra heaters around me, and I'm
I'm dressed up.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Like Kenny from South Park.

Speaker 3 (05:56):
Yes, you are all layered. And you know what, God
blessed the people out in the East Coast, New York.
How do you stay cold that long?

Speaker 2 (06:01):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (06:01):
Take a tortilla blanket and no.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
And you know what I always do while you're doing that,
I send you pictures from the couch under a blanket
like you look so handsome.

Speaker 7 (06:12):
He looks so cold.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
Yoah, Mario Lopez.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
My man, Frankie Valley says he has no plans to
retire on.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
With Mario Lopez Hollywood.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
But so there's a lot of videos right now on
social media of Frankie Valley, lead singer of The Four Seasons,
just a complete music legend icon has been around since
the sixties.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
My guy is now ninety years old and still performing.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
However, in recent videos he's looked a bit frail and
sometimes disoriented on stage. Some fans wondered if he was
being forced to perform and accused his team of elder abuse,
but Frankie says that is not the case. Nobody forces
him to do anything, and he has no plans to
stop performing. His current tour continues through April of next year. Now,

(07:04):
I love the Four Seasons. I love Frankie Valley. He
looks just like my father in law have said that.
I think many times before. I saw videos of him
performing maybe six months ago, and he did have a
little more pep in his step, and I thought it
was quite impressive that he was up there at eighty
nine years old at the time. And he turned nighty

(07:26):
recently which is just unbelievable, and his lip syncing. I
think that's fair to point out. But just to have
the opportunity to see this legend in the flesh and
live out there.

Speaker 7 (07:38):
And I think that's the point. Now.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
I think that's cool. He's not hurting anyone.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
He says he wants to continue doing it, so God
bless him. Ironically, if you've ever seen the play Jersey Boys,
and I've seen it four times, he talks about having
a debt to pay and he'll.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
Be singing till he's one hundred. Oh.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
He makes that reference in the play, and this play
has been around for at least twenty years.

Speaker 7 (08:01):
Maybe there's something to that.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
So maybe there.

Speaker 5 (08:03):
Is co that to countdown at Christmas continues in moments

Speaker 3 (11:55):
Mario Lopez joining me now on Zoom. Singer and songwriter
Mark Girl Job. Thanks, welcome back, Hi Mano nice to
see you.

Speaker 6 (12:03):
How have you been good?

Speaker 8 (12:05):
Good? How are you?

Speaker 3 (12:06):
I'm well, thank you. Since you were last on the show,
you walked down the aisle. How has married life been
so far? Congratulations?

Speaker 8 (12:14):
By the way, thank you.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
It's good.

Speaker 9 (12:17):
We got to go on our honeymoon in Antarctica, which
was crazy.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
So wow, totally off the grid. You don't hear that
too often. We'm prompted that.

Speaker 9 (12:26):
Yeah, we just wanted to go as far away from
la as we possibly could, totally off the grid and
do a hard reset, so stop penguins.

Speaker 8 (12:36):
It was great.

Speaker 3 (12:37):
That's definitely a hard reset. Was it what you thought
it would be?

Speaker 9 (12:41):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (12:42):
And more.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
It was absolutely wild.

Speaker 8 (12:44):
It was dead silent out there.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
Nice. That's kind of cool.

Speaker 3 (12:49):
Yeah, So married life and children in the future or
something not that we were not thinking about right now.

Speaker 8 (12:57):
No, we're always thinking about it.

Speaker 9 (12:59):
We're like I so, you know, I've been in I
feel like ever since I got married this like new
gear kicked him Around'm like, oh my gosh, I could
start a family right now.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
That would be.

Speaker 8 (13:09):
Crazy to have little ginger babies running around.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
Well, good for you, that's awesome. That's so cool.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
Well, we got to talk about your album, Dear Joe,
but we got to take a little break.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
We're gonna come back with Jackson just a moment.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
Happy holidays to you and yours. This is on with
Mario Lopez. We'll be right back.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
Mario Lopez here.

Speaker 3 (13:26):
I got Jack's on zoom with me, and your debut
album dropped.

Speaker 2 (13:29):
Earlier this summer. Dear Joe, how's the response been so far?
What are people thinking?

Speaker 8 (13:36):
It's crazy?

Speaker 9 (13:37):
I think every it's kind of exactly how I had
imagined it in a way, because every song is so
bizarre and different that people connected with different things in
different ways. Like I talked about past trauma and things
that like I had a hard time singing about forever
and I finally got to write out on paper, talked

(13:58):
about like what I'd experienced and how Hollywood, some things
about you know, the kid I babysit and Chelsea and
kind of feeling protective and watching her grow up, and
some heartbreak, some love songs. I think everybody found kind
of their song on the album that responded to it,
and we're like, Okay, this is what I connect to,
which is all I could ask for as a writer.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
Well, you can listen to Dear Joe on iHeartRadio or
wherever you get new music. Hold Ti, Jack's got to
play some more music right now.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
Mario Lopez here my guest.

Speaker 3 (14:27):
Today's singer songwriter Jax and the current single is too
Young to Be Old, has been pretty big on social
what's the story behind that one?

Speaker 8 (14:35):
Crazy?

Speaker 9 (14:36):
It's crazy, you know, I'm hitting that age I think
a lot of people. I realize a lot of other
people have as well, where you know, your parents start
to get older right in front of your eyes, and
it feels really fast. Yeah, there's like moments where I'm like,
this is crazy. I forgot that you are just a
human being, and you know, now I'm moving on into adulthood.

(14:59):
I watch I kind of saw my dad in the
past year, and my mom as well, and just people
I love, you know, getting just a little slower than
they were before, and it's just starting to freak me out.
It's like my biggest fear. I'm so close with my
father that my greatest fear.

Speaker 8 (15:15):
In the world is watching him get older. And then
there was like a.

Speaker 9 (15:19):
Week where we weren't speaking, we thought about something stupid,
and I was just up all night one night being like,
oh my gosh, like what if anything happened to him,
you know, And and I didn't call him to say
I loved him, and I just yeah, that process of
you know, him giving me away when we walked down
the aisle. It was just such a spiritual year and

(15:40):
I just felt like vulnerable and I wanted to write
about it. So I woke up and I did, and
I cried in this room and then lost my mind
and then eventually showed it to him once I recorded it.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
But he loved that.

Speaker 3 (15:53):
And by the way, I know exactly what you're talking about.

Speaker 9 (15:56):
It is.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
It sucks, it does well.

Speaker 3 (15:59):
On Jack's Got more music right now, jo al Mario
Lopez my guest Today's singer songwriter Jack's, and we'll sell
of the TikTok video with Haley Welched the Octoo girl.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
How did you get together?

Speaker 8 (16:14):
I stalked her down.

Speaker 9 (16:15):
Honestly, I felt I've been feeling this like older sister
instinct kick in when it comes to like young girls
you know that end up in Hollywood really quickly, like overnight. Yeah,
even myself, I've been working for a long time with
the intention of being an entertainer, and even then when
things happen really fast. It's so overwhelming, and there's so

(16:36):
many people that are out to take advantage of you.

Speaker 8 (16:38):
And I just wanted to honestly meet her and talk
to her and see if I could cold her to
lean on.

Speaker 9 (16:44):
And she's so cool, she's so normal and just like
she's just literally a kid that said like a silly
thing like leaving a bar once, and all of a
sudden her life changed.

Speaker 8 (16:54):
And the cool part about it is that, you.

Speaker 9 (16:56):
Know, she dropped out of school because she was taking
care of her grandmother who raised her, and all this
opportunity came from something so stupid, but like, you know,
what would anybody.

Speaker 8 (17:09):
Else do with that opportunity.

Speaker 9 (17:11):
So she's now donating to shelters, she's able to support
her grandmother, she's living the dream.

Speaker 8 (17:17):
And yeah, it's kind of crazy to.

Speaker 2 (17:18):
Watch that is that is That's great, that's cool to hear. Well,
I got one more thing I'm gonna ask. We got
to take a break. I'm gonna wrap it up with
Jackson just a moment.

Speaker 5 (17:25):
We hear the full interview now at On with Mario
dot Com. Happy Holidays from the entire On with Mario,
fam or Fest and fun Coming up.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
Mario Lopezier wrapping things up with today's guest Jacks And
I know you collaborated with.

Speaker 2 (17:38):
The guys from in Practical Jokers recently. What can you
tell us about that? Is that a surprise deal?

Speaker 8 (17:43):
I could?

Speaker 9 (17:44):
I could tell you that I lost. Honestly, I was
just going. I thought I was just going to meet them,
and they were.

Speaker 8 (17:50):
Like, get on the show. So I got to see.

Speaker 9 (17:52):
I'm such a fangirl of them and I've watched their
show since I was a kid with my little brother.
It just brought even on tour buses, it's just running
to keep us. It's like therapy and going behind.

Speaker 8 (18:04):
The scenes to see the next voice.

Speaker 9 (18:05):
It is exactly all my questions were answered about what
happens when somebody gets really pissed off and just want
to be on camera, and like how it works when
we're in like this sweaty basement of a like a supermarket,
while the two of them are upstairs and we're actually
like live in real time pranking people.

Speaker 8 (18:22):
It's just crazy.

Speaker 9 (18:23):
It was awesome, and I lost, And now they showed
their feet on my TikTok because that was my punishment
for losing.

Speaker 3 (18:30):
So wild Jackson It's so nice to talk to you.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
I hope I get to see soon.

Speaker 3 (18:37):
Congratulations on everything, both professionally and personally. And meanwhile, you
can listen to Dear Joe on iHeartRadio or wherever you
