Speaker 2 (00:03):
Halfway through the week? Wednesday, Dishavon with Mario Courtney Lopez,
going to keep all your favorite music coming your way
as we dig into the buzz to see what's trending, plus.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
The pop culture pop Quiz. We'll serve up some justice
in Courtney's cord and we're just a few songs away
from our good Deed Lopezzy of the Week. So turn
it up, you guys. Are on with Mario and Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Y'l Mario Courtney Lopez. Every week we like to highlight
someone who's going a good deed by honoring them with
the Lopezzy Awards. So who gets the article this week? Honey?

Speaker 3 (00:30):
It is a twelve year old named Paul Campbell from Naples, Florida.
While Paul has gathered thousands of essential items to help
out people experiencing homelessness during the cold months, Paul organized
an Amazon wish list which resulted in donations of twenty
six hundred items like socks, underwear, and shirts, which are

(00:51):
now being distributed via local organizations. And Paul says it's
not a good feeling when you see people on the streets,
adding that even though he's only twelve, he feels like
he can do a lot, and you can help Paul
help others too. Just look for Paul's footprint wish list
on Amazon. That is the sweetest thing, good for Paul.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
And very impressive considering is only twelve years old, and
that's a significant contribution he made.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Right on Paul or Mario Lopez cont al.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Mario Corney Lopez taking a quick logo what's new on
TV and streating today.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Discovery has a season six premiere of Expedition Bigfoot. An
elite team of Bigfoot experts go on the hunt for
the elusive beast.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Listen, if you haven't found him in six seasons, you're
not going to find him. I'm sorry.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
There's other shows that have gone like ten to twelve
seasons as well.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Well he's really elusive, then yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Netflix has a series premiere of Wags to Riches, giving
us an inside look at the lives of the wives
and girlfriends of famous athletes and rap stars. But these
stylishly smart wags call the shots no pun intended in
this soapy reality.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Series Wives and Girlfriends, Hence Wags. That's that's funny.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
And cold plays a film for the future Hits YouTube.
This film is a forty four minute visual companion to
their worldwide number one album Moon Music or a forty
four minute nap.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
So Big. iHeartRadio Music Awards announcement this morning, Mario Courtney Lopez,
You're back for its twelfth year on our iHeartRadio Music Awards.
It is the only show that reflects the songs and
artists the fans love.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
It all goes down Monday, March seventeenth, live on Fox
On with Mario dot Com Slash Awards for a list
of nominees, to vote for your favorites, and to find
out everything you need to know.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Jal Mario Courtney Lopez, diget into the bus. Because this
is Justin Baldoni Blake Lively drama has gone next level.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
On with Mario Hollywood Buzz.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
So Justin Baldoni is not back and down in his
ongoing feud with Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. To recap,
Blake accused Justin of sexual harassment in orchestrating a smear
campaign again Sir, while Baldoni countersuit for defamation and extortion,
alleging that Blake and our team tried to undermine him.
The situation has garnered a lot of media attention on

(03:10):
both sides, presenting conflicting narratives and legal actions, But now
Baldoni's four uner million dollar lawsuit is roping in others,
with Taylor Swift's name now reportedly being one of the
redacted names, and justin even getting Disney involved, demanding they
retain all documents, including Baldoni's name, as evidence. Ryan Reynolds
bullied him in Deadpool. In Wolverine, this is the soap

(03:34):
opera that is never ending. Even Bill Maher in Real
Time covered it, and he says, I don't know why
I'm seeing so much about a movie I never saw,
about a guy I've never heard of.

Speaker 5 (03:44):
And now I don't want to see.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
And yeah, and.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
About a case I do not care about. And so
he was just, how has this consumed? I guess it's
just juicy drama at a high level. Amongst actors, you
usually don't see this.

Speaker 4 (03:58):
I mean, especially people as big as like Ryan Reynolds
is like, he doesn't really get pulled into things like this,
and Blake Lively too.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
They do well enough to you figure you didn't want
to even have to engage in this. That's why I'm
so surprised.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
Well, then I think too when you hear a four
hundred million dollar lawsuit like, that's insane.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
That is insane. I think he's looking at it like
and he may be inflating his value a little bit,
but like, essentially my career is over. My agency drop me.
I'm probably never gonna get hired again because deemed difficult.
You know, there's a lot there, four hundreds atle Bit High,
but there's a lot there that you know, people may
want to steer clear.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
What's Taylor Swift have to do with this?

Speaker 2 (04:37):
She's her friend.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Well, she's written ten songs already.

Speaker 5 (04:40):
Yes, it's ridiculous.

Speaker 1 (04:43):

for Courtney's Court. Today's case comes from Tommy t.

Speaker 5 (05:51):
Tops.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
They say, I love my parents, but I don't know
what happened. When I was a kid, they were the
strictest on the block. But now his grandparents they're undermining
my parenting at every turn, and the kids have figured
it out. Don't really know how to approach this because
when I mentioned it before, they called me out for
being too strict. Oh, I can relate, Tommy t Yeah, just.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
Welcome to being a parent. That's I feel like that's
what every grandparents do because they don't want to I
don't want to say they don't want to put in
the work, but they want to be the fun, you know, grandparents,
and they don't want to be the disciplinarian. So I
think you're not experiencing anything that no other parent is experiencing.

(06:31):
But you just got to be strict with your parenting
and just you know, stick with it, stick with it.

Speaker 2 (06:36):

(07:30):
adding their friends on social media. That's kind of a
weird one. Some of the red flags that you're an
embarrassing parent. It's also about what you wear. Skinny jeans,
barring your kids clothes also made the cringe list.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
What about working? I do that all the time.

Speaker 5 (07:45):
Yes, there was also in the list.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
I love Diane Lane ever since I saw her as
Sherry in The Outsiders, and she has aged gracefully and
is still beautiful. Good for her.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
I think she's switching Lanes honey to sixty five.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
I think she's barely going to hit the sixth level,
and maybe hitting sixty.

Speaker 5 (08:26):
Sixty is correct.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
Wow. Actually I thought she was older because she's been
around for a long time.

Speaker 5 (08:31):
You know, she's in the Outsiders.

Mario Courtney Lopez here with the baby names you may
want to avoid. Millennial names like Chelsea, Alexis, and Taylor

(10:29):
are some of the names we're gonna be seeing less
often in the future. According to Baby Center, parenting site
analyzed name registries to find names with the biggest declines.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
Royal family inspired ones like Edward, Catherine and Albert. They're
on the way out as well. Jamie had the biggest
drop for girl names, while Jamal dropped the most for
boy names. You can go to on withmrio dot com
to see what other names made the list.

aside from that, I can tell you right now which
name is number one that got dropped?

Speaker 5 (11:01):
Karen?

Speaker 1 (11:02):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (11:02):
Oh, nobody's name in their baby Karen.

Speaker 5 (11:05):
Every year that name goes a little more extinct.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
Right, Karen's you know in your life? Right now? Last
ones you'll ever meet, Amara Courtney Lopez. So many awesome

This is from at Kendall Holt And she said, honestly,
I don't know about you, but I could really use
a year of my husband and I living in separate homes.
Just so I don't have to hear his snoring.

Speaker 2 (11:52):
Kendall Holt, I posted something about this recently, where that's
apparently a trend now people living in separate homes.

Speaker 5 (12:00):
Sounds expensive.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
Yeah, really, it sounds like dating. That's what you do
when you're dating. Once you get married, the whole point
is to be together, to start a family and build
a home. Look, if he's snoring, that's a whole other thing.
I get that. But maybe another room, but a whole
other house, that's next level. He must be really loud.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
More.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
Mario Lopez coming up, ol.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
Mario Courtney Lopez, keeping the fun and music coming your way.
We're going to recognize today's obscure holiday. What do you
got on it?

Speaker 3 (12:28):
It is National Hot Sauce Day.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
Yes, I feel weird when I don't have hot sauce.
I literally have some form of it every day. Shout
out to one of my personal favorites, La Guacamaya. It
goes well with eggs, steak, Tamali's fish.

Speaker 5 (12:47):
A good A good hot sauce will go well on anything.

Speaker 2 (12:50):
All those things, all those things. Mario Courtney Lopez here
with some quick buzz, gonna get the twenty twenty five
OSCAR nominations tomorrow morning. They're postponed because of the wildfires
here in LA, but we'll find out what's going down tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (13:04):

in addition to the television broadcast with Mario dot com
to find out about how you can check that out
and check out the nominations after they drop to My royalmar.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
And Courtney Lopez. And as if the first few weeks
haven't been wild enough already, what crazy things do you
think will happen this year?

Speaker 3 (13:26):
Well, new research reveal some of the things Americans think
are most likely to happen during the year ahead. People
are pretty optimistic overall, with seventy one percent believing that
twenty twenty five will be better than twenty twenty four.
So far, so far, not so.

Speaker 5 (13:40):
Good, well not here in LA at least, rough start.

Speaker 3 (13:43):
Rough start. But the top prediction is that we'll have
more extreme weather in the US this year. Nailed it,
The second being that inflation will be higher.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
We'll see thoughts, we'll see.

Speaker 3 (13:54):
And third our personal data will be leaked on the internet.

Speaker 5 (13:59):
That's happening every day.

Speaker 3 (14:00):
Can I ask a sidebar sure. Every time I get
a notification that I should change my password on any
random sites that I am logged into, I don't do it.

Speaker 5 (14:12):
Should I probably?

Speaker 3 (14:14):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (14:14):
It just means that that password has been leaked somewhere
on the Internet and someone potentially could have access to it,
but it would be best to probably change it.

Speaker 3 (14:22):
Okay, got it, And a couple of positive things that
made the list. Four day work weeks will become normal, hey,
and people will actually become more tolerant.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
It'll be nice.

Speaker 3 (14:32):
Yahoo also dropped a list of some funny or weird
predictions from their readers for twenty twenty five. Are on
a Grande and SpongeBob will get married in a secret ceremony.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
That's sad the dude's known as SpongeBob.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
Now.

Speaker 3 (14:44):
Kim Kardashian will start her own cryptocurrency that.

Speaker 2 (14:48):
Worked out so well for Hawk to a girl.

Speaker 3 (14:52):
They'll start so well, hopefully she'll be no longer hawk
to a girl. They'll start selling drones that walk your dog.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
Ooh, we think about that, honey.

Speaker 3 (15:00):
No, I don't trust anyone with No, I don't trust
the drones.

Speaker 3 (15:31):
Got time for a request or two as well. So
you got a song you want a year, Just slide
into our DMS over on Instagram at On with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
I'm Mario Courtney Lopez. Time for one last thing. In
honor of National Hot Sauce day to day, Instacart's dropping
some Hot Sauce knowledge on US breaking down favorites by
state nationally. Frank's Red Hot was number one in twenty
twenty four and twenty nine out of fifty states. Without
the respect that doesn't really have any kind of fla
to it, but you know, I guess it's better than nothing.

(16:02):
It was also followed closely by Hui Fung Foods, and
it's iconic siracha, which is the fastest growing sauce. That's
a good I'm a bit of a hot sauce snob,
so that that's fine. I guess there's nothing else.

Speaker 4 (16:15):
So these are like sort of your basics, like dinner
hot sauces, although.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
This is not a bad basic. Cholula was the third
most popular. That's a solid, solid hot sauce, and you
can get a holopano flavor. You get different variations Chilula.
I prefer Chilula even over top of teal. After Chilula,
you got Burman's, and reviewers say not only is the
aldi packaging very much like Franks, but also the ingredients
are nearly identical. Do you have a favorite, honey, you know, I.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
Don't have a favorite. I I a lot of the
hot sauce that I like come from random restaurants that
make their.

Speaker 2 (16:48):
Own, right, Yeah, some of those are those are those
are also Another good one that people can get is
the holapeno hot sauce. It's really spicy, but it's got
a good flavor from Trader Joe's cow that moor.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
Mario Lopez coming up, all right, that's it time for
us to pass the mic.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
We're fun Tomorrow as we fire up the musical time
machine for our throwback soundtrack, we'll.

Speaker 3 (17:10):
Get another helpful life hack in Courtney's Corner and more.
