nice to talk to you. First of all, how was
your mother's day? Did you get to have a day
off for yourself? You know, it was really lovely. My
son and I woke up together, and he went downstairs
and got a little card that he had written for me,

and a little present that he got the day before
at the Waldorf Market, a little um because I was
volunteering at the school and they have these little pots anyway,
and then we read together in bed for an hour,
which felt like I went to Hawaii. I mean to
read next to my baby and have him read for
an hour, and it was just, you know, I don't

get to do that often. That felt amazing. Has he
discovered any of your work yet? Has he watched yourself? Yeah,
he's well. He he watched me make Diary of a
Wimpy Kid. I had him on set with me the
whole time while I was making that, and he was
an extra in that for a second. Um So anyway, yeah,
he's very aware. And he saw Clueless and he saw

Scooby Doo two. I think that's what we've got so far.
I think I'm just about ready for him to see
Blast from the Past, but it might be a little
too lovy and Debbie for you know. Maybe you can
wait on that one Batman or Robin Perhaps, No, not yet,
well maybe maybe now. I don't know. I haven't want.
I don't let him watch any of those big, big movies,

you know, the the Marvel stuff. It's too advanced. I'm
a Waldorf mom, so we try really hard to have
very little media at all. Got it. When I do
choose media, I'm very careful about what I choose. Dad's
a little different, so it's tricky. Do the best we can. Yeah,

Thanks for asking. Um So, I have been living this

healthy lifestyle for a long time and I wanted to
find a way to communicate to people. UM well, really
to ask the question what is it going to take
for us to heal ourselves, our planet and our communities?
And so we I really address healing on every level.
We start with ourselves. The first episode really goes into
(09:30):
loving yourself and how do we do that and what
does that mean? And and and what is the root
of all healing. There's really interesting conversations with many different
people and it's all centered around how to heal yourself.
We talk about body image and one of them and
how to you know, be able to love ourselves deeply
(09:51):
and um and then then we start to expand to
bigger things like the ocean and and all those kinds
of things. So what's empowering? It sounds empowering. Alicia Silverstones
on with Us. We have more with her coming up
the first and more music Almara Lopez Alicia Silverstone hanging
out with Us on Zoom and Alicia, you mentioned something

earlier about being vegan. I know you already published a
couple of cookbooks. How has uh vegan and organic eating
evolved since those books came out? Because I'm I had
a lot of meat, would be quite honest with you,
but I have been to uh some vegan restaurants. Pretty tasty.
They got some tasty options they do. That's the thing.
Um you've been to? Do you live in l A. Yes,

we've been to Crossroads. Yes. That's funny that you because
that's what I was thinking of. Yeah a few times.
It's really good if you order right, and I do
feel like I need to tell you what to order fast.
It does. For some reason, my wife decided to turn
into somewhat a vegetarian, came out of nowhere. It's wonderful
because she's smart. She's smart. Wait a minute, what are

followers there. What is it about that particular platform that
you like so much? I resisted it very, very long time.

feel like, oh my god, like you had another one.
I feel that, you know what I mean? Do you do?
You do the same thing for all the platforms and
just kind of link it. Oh you're you're different in
all of them. Oh, let me woer variety, offer a variety, right, right.
But sometimes what I post on TikTok, I'll put on

Instagram and sometimes you know, so I do sometimes cross
got it. It happens a lot. But but but the
TikTok tok is TikTok stuff is more specific, and um,
I did it finally. My It was really just a
choice of I have like the real heal and my

Kind Organics, the vitamin company that I started I co founded.
You know these these things that are my passion projects,
my books, the Kind Diet and the Kai MoMA, these
things that I care so much about. Um, I just
kind of realized that if I stepped into that world,
I would be able to reach an audience that I
hadn't tapped into. And um, and even if it's just

a few people like I just want to be able
to bring them on board to this idea. So most
of the time I do really fun things and then
every once in a while, I throw in something really
serious and important, you know. And um, that's that's sort
of always been my strategy with my social media is
play with me, comes see all this fun stuff, and
then but let's also learn some good stuff too. Smart approach.

And I realized this the other day. Every time I
get my car washed, why do I put my window
down right after knowing that it's going to ruin the

wash and leave marks on the window. I do that
unintentionally when I have to like get into the parking
lot to clear, and I get so mad at myself.
She sounds like she does not purpose though, No, But
it's like my brain is saying, you just got your
car wash, you don't do the window, and then something
will happen where I need to roll down the window,
and then I go what I run down the window?

Y mar Corney Lopez, quickly getting one last thing. Would
you eat a burger made in a vending machine? It's
not a possibility. Robo burger is taken off in New Jersey.
It's the world's first burger robot in a box, so
essentially a burger veending machine. Customers use a touchscreen to
order a classic burger with ketchup mustard and cheese, or

customized to remove any of those ingredients. The burger takes
about six minutes once it's ordered, comes on a potato
bun toasted to order, and it will cost you six

feel like, oh my god, like you had another one.
I feel that, you know what I mean? Do you do?
You do the same thing for all the platforms and
just kind of link it. Oh you're you're different in
all of them. Oh, let me woer variety, offer a variety, right, right.
But sometimes what I post on TikTok, I'll put on

Instagram and sometimes you know, so I do sometimes cross
got it. It happens a lot. But but but the
TikTok tok is TikTok stuff is more specific, and um,
I did it finally. My It was really just a
choice of I have like the real heal and my

Kind Organics, the vitamin company that I started I co founded.
You know these these things that are my passion projects,
my books, the Kind Diet and the Kai MoMA, these
things that I care so much about. Um, I just
kind of realized that if I stepped into that world,
I would be able to reach an audience that I
hadn't tapped into. And um, and even if it's just

a few people like I just want to be able
to bring them on board to this idea. So most
of the time I do really fun things and then
every once in a while, I throw in something really
serious and important, you know. And um, that's that's sort
of always been my strategy with my social media is
play with me, comes see all this fun stuff, and
then but let's also learn some good stuff too. Smart approach.

And I realized this the other day. Every time I
get my car washed, why do I put my window
down right after knowing that it's going to ruin the

wash and leave marks on the window. I do that
unintentionally when I have to like get into the parking
lot to clear, and I get so mad at myself.
She sounds like she does not purpose though, No, But
it's like my brain is saying, you just got your
car wash, you don't do the window, and then something
will happen where I need to roll down the window,
and then I go what I run down the window?

Y mar Corney Lopez, quickly getting one last thing. Would
you eat a burger made in a vending machine? It's
not a possibility. Robo burger is taken off in New Jersey.
It's the world's first burger robot in a box, so
essentially a burger veending machine. Customers use a touchscreen to
order a classic burger with ketchup mustard and cheese, or

customized to remove any of those ingredients. The burger takes
about six minutes once it's ordered, comes on a potato
bun toasted to order, and it will cost you six
ninety nine. The best part it's open twenty seven. I
can't imagine it being more dangerous than say a seven
eleven hot dog, because I've had a few of those,

have you. They're pretty funky, And I've had the burgers
there because they don't I don't assume change them out
necessarily every night. So the times I've been in seven elevens,
I will say there's typically a lot of people buying
