Peacock Debut's Teacup.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
It's a group of neighbors who become trapped on a
farm in rural Georgia and must put aside their differences
in the face of a mysterious and deadly threat.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
Oh okay, got all serious.
Speaker 3 (00:40):
Max Premier's Roller JM.
Speaker 2 (00:42):
It's a competition where the best roller skating teams from
across the country danced through the decades to win one
hundred and fifty thousand dollars.
Speaker 1 (00:49):
I used to love going to roller skate Land, which
was right next to Choles to Junior High. It was
roller Skateland Fiesta Twins in Farals. It was like going
to school in the fifties. Feral Bharah's a big ice
cream shop, y'all.
Speaker 4 (01:01):
Oh that's That've never heard of that.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
But they used to bring out your big birthday ice
cream on a stretcher. It was two. It was so big.
Finish it well you had. It was a party. You'd
go in like a party. But Roller skate Land was
all skate, all skate. Couples only couples only. That was
the jam. It took me back.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
Amazon debut, Citadel Diana.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
When a global spy agency is destroyed and undercover agent
is alone and trapped behind enemy lines, that's the worst.

stage in one nine streaming now on Who Yo, Mario
(01:51):
Courtney Lopez Time Learning New Live Fact. What is the
topic today at Courtney's Corner?
Speaker 2 (01:56):
This is Dualipa's soda concoction that has the Internet divided people.
So you start with a glass of diet coke, Well,
I'm out, you know that? Add about an ounce of
pickle juice and a splash of al apenno sauce from
a cup of chopped peppers. This sounds disgusting. Dua is
looking for a name of the drink.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
Now does she do this and then add like some
tequila or vodka or a liquor or just she's just
doing this. She's just doing it.
Speaker 4 (02:24):
Oh no, I think she does this and immediately throws
it in the trash.
Speaker 3 (02:27):
Yeah, I have a name for it. Don't do this
very good?
Speaker 1 (02:32):
You know what. I'm not gonna knock it until I
try it.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
So you already said you don't drink soda.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
I don't, but if it's got alcohols and halapenios in it,
I just want to try, just to see if I
like the taste.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
But you also drink anything with alcohol.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
That's true. But I'm gonna try it with that alcohol
and we'll see. I'm gonna do a favor for y'all.
Speaker 5 (02:53):
Or Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
I agree, and I you know, it makes me happy
because we sit here in front of a microphone and
we don't really see the people on the other side,

saw you perform with Chaka Khan at the AMA Awards.
That was awesome. Have you all worked together before?
Speaker 6 (04:14):
Yeah, yeah, we've played together. I met Shaka. I think
I was seventeen when I first met her. She played
in System and that was the first time I met her,
so I've known it.
Speaker 5 (04:25):
For a long time.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
Oh, that's awesome to legends right there. Congrats on the
new Lifetime movie Nobody Dumps My Daughter. They have the
best titles ever. What's this one about?
Speaker 6 (04:37):
Pretty interesting. It's a real story and kind of crazy.
I played this terror card type healer that the mother,
the lady who was crazy, and her daughter is the
one who it's dumped by her boyfriend. And I don't
want to do the spoiler alert, so I won't tell
(04:58):
you the rest of it. I play the tarot card
beater that she comes to for many years.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
What a fun character. That's cool. That's all right. Well,
you can watch Nobody Dumps My Daughter Saturday on Lifetime
to say quick break.
Speaker 5 (05:13):
More. Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
Mario Lopez here hanging out with a queen of percussion,
Sheila E. Her new Lifetime movie is Nobody Dumps My Daughter.
And in music, your newest single is play at Tequila.
I like the title. What inspired that song?
Speaker 3 (05:28):
Uh?
Speaker 6 (05:28):
Yeah, ply at Tequila is the new single.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
Oh, playa like the beach. I thought it was playa.
It's playa like. It's Spanish.
Speaker 6 (05:37):
Should be a play too.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
Yeah, you're Latina. I should have known that better. Ply
at Tequila Beach Tequila. That's funny. I'm a player and I'm.
Speaker 6 (05:45):
Not gonna I don't think I'm gonna correct you could.
You should know, so you should get it.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
But it could have been playing because there's songs play
out right play at Tequila, pa at Tequila that works better.
Speaker 6 (05:56):
Yeah, I so off my new record by lar Uh.
I mean first ever saw some records.
Speaker 1 (06:01):
So it's funny. I love that. I know.
Speaker 6 (06:03):
It's it's amazing. We have so many great artists on
this record, and Fled Tequila was something that made it
on the record. I co wrote it with the guy
who's in the Victor Evince who's in the video. He's
from Australia. But yeah, a great record, A lot of
great music on this and we have Reuben Blaize, Gloria
(06:24):
st Wow, Victor, Manuel, Luis san Rique, El Canario, My mom,
My Dad, Tony Sugar, Mimi Suitcar, Demi Nova, Jean Madriguez,
a lot of people.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
Oh that's I love. I look forward to checking that out. Nice,
you got to check it out.
Speaker 6 (06:41):
No, you got to check it out.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
Will for sure? Well, hold on, Sheila got to play
some more music. Mario Lopez here talking new movies and
music with Sheila E and I love the Netflix talk
about We Are the World? Did you get the story right, Shila?
Were the things he thought they left out? Uh?
Speaker 6 (06:57):
Most of it on my end they got right. It's
just that, you know, they hasked a few things that
weren't or changed it, so it made it look like
Lionel was actually calling and speaking to Prince, which he didn't.
It was me making all the calls and so yeah,
uh yeah, uh, you know, Lionel really didn't officially speak
(07:20):
with with with Prince because I was the only one
that had the number, knew where he was, so I
called him on those occasions, the two occasions during the
during the session and basically told him, you know, once
the first call was Prince was just checking to see
how it was going. It's like, we think I should come,
He's asking me, and I was like, yeah, you should
(07:41):
probably come. I mean, everybody's here almost but you and
a few people. And then there were so many people,
and then they wanted him to sing right after Michael
and he's like no, you know, so you know, he
wanted to play guitar, and I said, I held the
phone and I go like this like, hold on, okay,
let me ask hold on. It was cute Quincy Brince
(08:02):
wants to play guitar, you know, and if that's cool,
he'll do that. And he said, and they're all talking
like no, no, no, we want him to come, and
and I told him, he goes, no, it goes just
tell send the track, I'll play on it. So they
ended up not they said they had guitar already Dann,
so he didn't play guitar. However, in the midst of that,
(08:23):
he sent for another one of the other things that
they were raising money and gave away one of his
other songs. And because he didn't do We out the World.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
So yeah, wow, appreciate that story. That's cool.
Speaker 5 (08:38):
Thanks.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
All right, I got one more thing I want to ask.
We gotta play some more music. You're all Mari Lopez
rapping things up with today's guest, Shila E. And I
can't believe this. It's gonna be the fortieth anniversary of
The Glamorous Life.
Speaker 3 (08:50):
Man.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
That song still hits, And I remember when that came out.
You remember that time vividly when out started to pop.
Speaker 6 (08:57):
Oh heck yeah yeah. I mean we before the Purp
actually started. I was out touring in Europe. We wanted
to break the record in Europe first, So we were
out on tour for about two to three months in Europe.
And when I got back to the States, I was
renting these Mercedes, different convertibles. I'm like, shoot, I got
(09:17):
a record out. I'm renting these Mercedes. I'm driving down
Sunset Boulevard going to that used to be it. They
close it now Green Blats Deadly right there next to
the Laugh Factory or whatever. Yeah, I'm driving and I'm
double parked. To make I mean not a double park.
I stopped and the double lines where they have the
(09:37):
oncoming cars and then the third lane is where you
the meter. So I was making the left to go
up to green Blatz and my song comes on the rail.
Speaker 3 (09:45):
I was like, oh my god, it's oh this is it.
Speaker 5 (09:49):
I made it.
Speaker 6 (09:49):
I'm on Sunset in a convertible and Glamourusite was playing
and I turned the corner and this car is bam
right hits me. Oh oh my god, passers sidewalk. Glamour's
Life is playing.
Speaker 1 (10:04):
That's not so glamorous. It was not.
Speaker 6 (10:07):
That's what happened. That was my first time ever hearing
it on the on the radio and I.
Speaker 5 (10:12):
Get hit by a car.
Speaker 1 (10:13):
Oh my god, Hey, you know what. Let you know
you arrived right there exactly. I'm so glad you're still
doing your thing all these years later. That is awesome
and looking forward to seeing you be a terrort card reader.

I wasn't in that scene, so I was out.
Speaker 4 (12:08):
I don't remember that.
Speaker 1 (12:09):
I didn't pay attention. If I was it, I really didn't.
As much I was a kid. I was like knowing Elizabeth,
she took many. She takes it very serious, and I'm
sure it took many. And I say that would love.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
A time, coming up, coming up, Once upon a Christmas wish.

Speaker 3 (12:49):
I gotta say fifty one.
Speaker 1 (12:54):
You know what, I am extending my fiftieth because it
honestly didn't feel lucky year. So I'm I'm just going
to continue. This is going to be one long fiftieth.
Speaker 4 (13:03):
Well you were fifty one, oh got it's a year ago.
Speaker 3 (13:06):
We were in Mexico.
Speaker 1 (13:07):
Can you believe that I cannot? That's that's wild.
Speaker 7 (13:10):
From the Goldbergs and Reno nine to one one. Someone
I know that you were a fan of Wendy m'clinton covey.
Speaker 1 (13:17):
Oh, it's nice to know that I share a birthday
with her. The only people that I know I share
a birthday with celebrity wise is Brett Farv Yes, David
Lee Roth, that was correct, and Michael bibbins. I can't,
but I can confirm, Okay, I can confirm it. But
David Lee Roth, my guy's got to be seventy one.
Speaker 4 (13:40):
Well, you never guessed Wendy's age.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
Oh, I thought I did, Wendy. I mean I thought
we did.
Speaker 3 (13:43):
Wendy.
Speaker 1 (13:43):
Sorry, this's what happens when you get you get older
exactly exact, might be older than fifty one at this point, Wendy,
I feel we're around the same age. I think she's
going to be hitting the fifth level as well.
Speaker 7 (13:54):
Fifty fifty two, fifty five, okay, and someone else you're
trying to guess the age of earlier David Lee Roth
from Van Halen.
Speaker 3 (14:03):
David Lee Roth is seventy two.
Speaker 1 (14:06):
Seventy one seventy more Mario Lopez coming up, Mario Courtney Lopez,
here's still some time to celebrate today's holiday, aside for
my birthday. No, no, what is going on October tenth?
Speaker 3 (14:19):
Well, this is.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
Actually a day for me and it should be a
present for me since my birthday's coming up.
Speaker 3 (14:24):
No, no, it's National hand bad Day.
Speaker 1 (14:26):
Yeah. I've said this many times before, but outside of
a backpack, men don't have the luxury of a purse.
They tried to introduce the merse and it didn't fly.
Speaker 4 (14:40):
You said years ago you were bringing the fanny pack back.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
I was down with the fanny pack, but they don't
make a cool one. If they made a cool one,
I got a cool one, I'd be down.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
There's a lot of guys out there that carry stuff.
Speaker 7 (14:50):
Now.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
I just think you haven't seen Maybe I haven't seen it.
You know. I'm still down with the backpack though. Oh wow,
that is Oh that's right, that's disgusting.
Speaker 4 (15:00):
I mean that for Christmas a few years ago.
Speaker 1 (15:01):
Wow, and she got your belly and everything exactly right.
That's a huge one. Bara Courtney Lopez. Here I heard
Radio Fiesta Latina returning to Miami Saturday, October twenty sixth,
with all the biggest Latin artists all on one stage.
You got Feed Sevesti and Yatra, Manuel d Riso and more.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
You and a friend could be there on our dime.
Just go to Iheartfiesta dot com slash win to enter.
Speaker 1 (15:25):
Now borrow Courtney Lopez. Here, it's try to put on
our thinking caps. Let's get to Courtney's random question. Which
you got, honey?
Speaker 2 (15:33):
Ooh, what Disney movie deserves its own ride at Disneyland?
Speaker 1 (15:38):
So oh that's good.
Speaker 2 (15:40):
Here's some choices, all right, Lion King okay, Mulan wreck It, Ralph,
the Sword in the Stone, Lelo and Stitch, The Jungle Book, Mowana, Hercules,
Beauty and the.
Speaker 4 (15:55):
Beast, Pinocchio.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
The Jungle Book, I feel is too similar to Jungle Cruise,
which is both now a ride and a movie. I
like the idea of the Lion King just because you
can do something really cool with really cool in the Safari. Also,
Mowana could be a water ride. That'd be fun, oh right,
because you know he's in the raft.
Speaker 3 (16:16):
Yeah, these are really really good ideas.
Speaker 5 (16:18):
Well.
Speaker 2 (16:19):
They had Little Mermaid, which all right, could be a
water ride, but it's not.
Speaker 5 (16:23):
Sure more Mario Lopez coming up, Mario Courtney Lopez.
Speaker 1 (16:28):
Here was some quick buzz. Netflix has a big hit
with their new rom com Nobody Wants This. The Kristen
Bell movie racked up one point seven billion minutes watched
in its first week, pretty much ties the ratings of Monsters,
the Lyle and Eric Menenda Story. Okay, you know what
I enjoy good rom com honey.
Speaker 2 (16:43):
Yeah, well, those are the two most watch shows on streaming.
This is a third third is the doc Mister McMahon,
also on Netflix, which is on our list.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
It is. That's nice. That's where we're watching after Monsters,
which we've got one episode less. Mario Lopez. Here was
some quick buzz for you. Amazon. And what's more and
more of a show, Reacher just gave the green light
to season four, even though season three doesn't even premiere
until next year. In twenty twenty three, Reacher was their
most watched show. They're also making a spinoff based on
(17:14):
Reacher's Private Investigator starring Maria Sten. You're a Mario Lopez.
Time now for one last thing. Research is confirming what
many pet owners already know. Dogs are able to take
on the personality traits of their humans. They pick up
on their owner's cues and emotions, especially with things like
(17:34):
stress or anxiety. Well, the only reason I pause and
may have an issue with this is because we have
three dogs. All three have very different personalities.
Speaker 4 (17:47):
Maybe they take after different people in the house.
Speaker 1 (17:49):
None of which are Maybe and I'm there every day,
maybe my wife here. We've got one dog who is loving,
but very moody and likes to be left alone. Don't
mess with him. We have another one who's nothing but
love and just wants to be all up on you
all the time. I guess that one maybe can be
like me. And then we've got another one who's bipolar.
(18:11):
He his name is Mookie Bets, but we also call
him Mookie Bites because he'll be biting you and could
attack you at any moment, and then the next thing,
he always wants to cuddle with you. So they're all
over the place, these dogs.
Speaker 5 (18:23):
We'll be right back with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 1 (18:25):
A time for us to pass the minds, but we're
back tomorrow The Real Housewives, Teddy Mallencamp and Tamor Judge.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
Plus all the latest Hollywood buzz. Until then, this is
Mario and Courtney Lopez Saying good night
Speaker 5 (18:37):
With Mario Lopez
