Speaker 1 (01:33):
How I do.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
A Mario Courtney Lopez. I got a list here of
the ten best food cities in America, according to US News.
I've eaten pretty much everywhere here. Let's see if we agree.
Who do we got?
Speaker 1 (01:46):
Honey?
Speaker 5 (01:47):
Number ten Austin.
Speaker 3 (01:49):
Austin's a good food town Texas in general, but Austin
is little more che than the other towns.
Speaker 5 (01:54):
Number nine Portland, Maine.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
Well, if you're going to go with lobster, which is incredible,
and a lot of the seafoods and crab which I love.
Speaker 5 (02:03):
Yes. Number eight is a Houston h town.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
Great steakhouses. They know their cows over there. Great steakhouses.
Speaker 5 (02:12):
Number seven Las Vegas.
Speaker 3 (02:14):
Absolutely, it's sort of the best of everywhere the world
actually in Vegas.
Speaker 5 (02:19):
It's hard to argue with that that.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
I'm surprised that's actually not number one.
Speaker 5 (02:22):
Number six Philadelphia, Yeah, Philly.
Speaker 3 (02:25):
Is a major town. They have I'm sure some solid restaurants.
They're more known for those cheese steaks, which is which
are amazing.
Speaker 5 (02:33):
Number five San Francisco.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
San Francisco has I believe, more culinary schools than anywhere else,
so that makes a lot of sense to and it's
a coastal town, which is great.
Speaker 6 (02:42):
Number four La what's up A one eight three two.
Speaker 3 (02:48):
Three three, one oh three, one o, two and three
goes on and on. Yes, La schmorgas board of different ethnicities,
and it's just a big town, so you're gonna get
a lot of good food.
Speaker 5 (03:01):
Number three is Chicago.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
Chicago does have a lot of food, a lot more condensed,
it's not to spread out. Great steakhouses, and I believe
one of the most expensive restaurants in the world in
Chicago too, with like twenty courses and stuff. I hate there.
Once it was it was like a marathon.
Speaker 7 (03:19):
Number two NYC, New York City really does have great food,
even if you go to like a deli just down
the street.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
Or the little hole in mo Will places. For some reason,
just everything is good there.
Speaker 5 (03:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (03:34):
And number one, drum roll, please, New Orleans.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
I have no problem with this, you know. I say
New Orleans is the number one city in the South,
especially for food, because you can't replicate the food anywhere else.
They're roue and jumbalaya and gumbo and all that is
so tasty and everything's really fresh there, So I'm not
mad at that pick at all.
Speaker 4 (03:58):
Tell Memorial what do you think? On Twitter at Sun
with Mario more Mario Lopez on.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
The way Mario Courtney Lopez. Here was a quick buzz
for you. We're getting another Big Bang Theory spin off,
believe it or not. This one's gonna focus on Kevin
Susman aka Stuart, the comic book store owner and Lauren Lupkez,
who played the stores assistant manager.
Speaker 6 (04:18):
All right, well, Chuck Laurie is the executive producer, and
it will stream on Max. Big Bang Theory has already
spun off the prequel Young Sheldon and the new CBS
comedy Georgie and Mandy's first marriage.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
Oh Mario Lopez about the fire up Zoom and chat
was straight out of confidence. Osha Jackson Junior. New movie

scoop on that and a whole lot more back with
Ohe Jackson Junior. After a few songs, don't move w
al Mario Lopez, join me right now on Zoom Actor
mister O'sha Jackson Junior. What's going on?
Speaker 5 (04:50):

Speaker 3 (04:53):
I'm doing well, brother, Nice to see you again. Den
of Thieves two Pantera that's hit in theaters January tenth.
It's a sequel to your action movie What's Up with
Big Nick? In this one? He's a big jerk, is
what he is?
Speaker 8 (05:08):
Uh? You know? In the first one, I avoided the
clutches of the LAPD which is just a win in general.
And then uh yeah, I head over to Europe for
a new heist. Big Nick gets wind of where I
am and just like the Leach said he is. He
(05:29):
was to come over there and get a piece.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
Of the act.
Speaker 3 (05:32):
I like it. Well, I've seen a little. It looks
pretty intense and you do a good job, and it
was was was fitty in this one? Is fitty in
this one?
Speaker 1 (05:39):
No, he's just a producer.
Speaker 8 (05:40):
Man.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
He died in the first I don't know if he
got resurrected or something. Okay, oh no, no, No, he's
a cool dude, though. I'm sure he appreciated working with
you and has a lot of respect for you and
your dad. Right there? Was that a good time?
Speaker 1 (05:57):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (05:58):
Man, we we were to Jackson Boys over there. He's
Curtis fifty sid Jackson Jackson. We have publed with that.
I call him uncle. Curtis fifty is my guy.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
You know.
Speaker 8 (06:08):
I got to see where this premiere is going to be,
and I hope he's there because I love chopping it
up with that dude. The last time I saw him,
uh crazy enough, I was at a disgusting Boston Celtics game.
But you know, uh, fifty is my guy.
Speaker 3 (06:22):
Yeah no, me too, likewise, and I know you work
with Gerard Butler. That dude's a trip. So I got
a friend of mine who is uh a designer? He
told me he designed his crib and Gerard asked for
a tepee in his backyard and I'm like, for real,
like at TV's like, yeah, what's he doing there? Is
like I don't know, but he wanted a tpe?
Speaker 5 (06:42):
Weird a weird.
Speaker 3 (06:46):
Yeah, but he's you got to ask all me about
his tp.
Speaker 8 (06:50):
Yeah that's a trip man.
Speaker 5 (06:55):
All right, Hang on, quick break, They're gonna have more
with O. J.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
Jackson Jr.
Speaker 1 (06:59):
More fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 3 (07:02):
Getting back to actor O. J. Jackson Junior, who is
on Zoom with us. Mario Lopez here and a. I
know you're a big wrestling fan because I'll be seeing
you at these WWE events and you've got a podcast
called No Contest Wrestling. What'd you talk about on there?
Speaker 7 (07:15):
Man?
Speaker 4 (07:16):
A bit of everything?
Speaker 8 (07:17):
You know. We we obviously me and my co host TJ.
Jefferson of The Rich Eisen Show. Uh, we get on there,
you know obviously do the recap of the week of
what's been going on, kind of where we think storylines
are going and stuff like that. And my favorite part about.
Speaker 1 (07:33):
It is the interviews.
Speaker 8 (07:35):
We've We've been blessed with you know, being able to
talk to some people that are really admire Our first
guest was a friend of mine. I kind of had
to open the black Book and be like, do you
do me a favor? And it was seeing Pump. So
it's you know, it's been really cool, and I think
what makes ours a little different is we really want
to tap into the fan side of the superstars because
(08:00):
you know, they've been on a bunch of shows where
they talk about what's going on, talk about what's going
to happen, and that's really it, and we want to know,
we want to see that fan side of you because
you know, through media training, I've been taught that relatability
is likability. So when people can see that fandom within
the superstars, I think they have a new level of
(08:22):
appreciation for him.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
When it's all said, absolutely that's my approach as well.
You're absolutely right. All right, a few more songs and
we're gonna have more with Oh Jackson Junior, oh Mari
Lopez actor OJ Jackson Junior hanging out on Zoom here
and we were just talking about your love wrestling, so
real quick, give me your mount rushmore of all time
favorite wrestlers, all.
Speaker 8 (08:43):
Right, these are my just so the public knows, these
are my all time favorite personal right. This has nothing
to do with nobody else but the Rock gotta be
up there, Stone Cold gotta be up there at Yeah,
that was me, dude, that was that was me for sure.
(09:03):
And I gotta go with Oh.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
This is this is rough because.
Speaker 8 (09:08):
I'm gonna leave somebody off and I'm gonna be mad
and I'm gonna be like, yo, hit Mario, oh, somebody
that I like, really enjoyed, because I really in my
mind Triple H is there. But I know, in my
heart of hearts I hated Triple H when I was
a kid, but I respect what he did, So I'm
gonna put I'm gonna put Taker there because he was
(09:29):
my original first favorite wrestler. Yeah, and then the and
for the fourth spot, I gotta go. I gotta go
with the greatest of all time, Rubban rings Bro.
Speaker 3 (09:40):
Like goat right there, bro, Hey man, I refect. I
respect the the the passion out there.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
I love it all. Right.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
Back to wrap up with Oh Jackson Jr. After a
little more music, wrap it up with actor Osha Jackson
Junior Mario Lopez. Here a new movie is Den of
thieves too, But hey, what's up with music? You wrapping
it all these days?
Speaker 5 (10:00):
What's up?
Speaker 4 (10:00):
No?
Speaker 8 (10:01):
I When it came time to make a career choice,
you know, I gave up music because, you know, just
to be completely transparent, I feel that Hollywood type casts rappers,
I know what like just as a rap baby myself,
I know what my dad can do. I know what
(10:21):
roles my dad can kill, and I feel like there
is a stigma put on him because so many people
know ICEQ and not Oh Jackson Senior. Like I know
the levels that my dad has, and most of his
part felt performances are stuff that he's written for himself.
(10:42):
And I know there's just certain roles that the powers
that be are they just can't see a rapper in
because they have this ideology of who they are as
a person without you know, even sitting.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
Down with them.
Speaker 8 (10:56):
When it came to making a name for myself, I
know that music. Why there's nothing I'm going to do
to be able to touch what that guy did, you
know for our family. But I know there are plenty
of trophies and things out there that he wasn't considered
for that he deserves in film, and so I'm gonna
go get those. When I was a kid, I wanted
(11:18):
this is very superficial. When I was a kid and
I wanted that goal.
Speaker 4 (11:22):
I wanted that.
Speaker 8 (11:23):
Popcorn from MTV so bad. And like I saw, my
dad nominated a few times for the MTV Movie Awards,
and we never got the popcorn, and that bothered me
so much. And when I did straight out of confident,
it just happened to fall on the twenty fifth anniversary
of the MTV Movie Awards, and I won the popcorn.
(11:43):
And the first time my family got the popcorn, it
had my name on it. And so that's how I
know I'm destined to get the trophies in film for us.
Speaker 3 (11:52):
Hey, man, you manifested that. Good for you. I'm sure.
I'm very proud brother. Well, listen, I want everyone to
be sure to catch you Oshay in the new action
movie Donnithe's Two Pantera when it hits theaters on January tenth.
Thanks for checking in, brother, and I'll see you at
the Into It Dome. Wwe Hey gonna we have to
get you in the ring player, We'll square up, We'll
(12:14):
get in there.
Speaker 8 (12:15):
Listen, give me a year, give me, let me get
my R and b body together.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
That sounds good.
Speaker 5 (12:21):
All right, man, take care, all right, you too.

This is from ad Thierry Terry Smith.
Speaker 1 (13:36):
Yo.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
Twenty twenty four was a weird year, but Mario Lopez
reviewing Mexican food in Saudi Arabia was never on my
bingo card.
Speaker 3 (13:41):
Yeah, Thierry Terry Smith. My buddy Rick Funez, who's a
professional boxing trainer, had a fighter fighting on the card
and he usually does the food reviews with me, and
we were out there he said we should go do
a food review. And then my old high school friend
Norma Gilbert reached out to me via Instagram saying, Hey,
I have a Mexican rest here, the only Mexican restaurant
(14:02):
in the whole country.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
You happen to know the owner?
Speaker 3 (14:05):
I happen to know that. I couldn't believe this, and
she was so cool growing up, and it's doing well.
The food's authentic, her staff is all the way from
Wahaka in Mexico, and I just it blew me away.
What are the odds of someone I went to high
school with open the first Mexican restaurant in Saudi Arabia
and it was good? Too, and it was nice to
have a little slice of home being so far away.
Speaker 4 (14:27):
Get us up on Twitter, on with Mario and hang
on more. Mario Lopez on the way, What up?
Speaker 3 (14:33):

a stunning ring at last night's award show. You can
check that out. Vin Diesel's awkward encounter with Dwayne the
Rock Johnson goes viral you can find out why. And
Ariana Grande's teasing more Eternal Sunshine in twenty twenty five.
Find out what that means with Mario dot com for
(14:58):
all that and more.
Speaker 3 (15:00):
Mario Courtney Lopez here with details of the next music
biopick in the works, Queen Latifa getting a movie about
her life story. Okay, it's from the same people who
made the new edition biopick. Queen Latifa dropped her first
album back in nineteen eighty nine at the age of nineteen.
She's also the first female solo rapper to have a
gold record She's won a Grammy and Emmy and a
Golden Globe in three SAG Awards.
Speaker 5 (15:23):
I love me a biopick, I do too, and I
love Queen Latifa. So I'm there for it. You're all
Mario Courtney Lopez.
Speaker 3 (15:30):
Let's put a spotlight on my wife, and it's time
for Courtney's random question. What you got, honey?
Speaker 6 (15:35):
What do you think is the most underrated and overrated
of the four seasons?
Speaker 3 (15:40):
Well, Frankie Valley's my favorite four seasons. He's definitely underrated.
Oh you mean the uh, the actual actual seasons? Okay,
nobody laughed as it wasn't we got it?
Speaker 2 (15:50):
Wow?
Speaker 6 (15:50):
Wow, that's you know what you're rude to me? Were
my jokes?
Speaker 5 (15:54):
The most overrated season? Wait, what are they?
Speaker 1 (16:00):
Winter? Fall?
Speaker 3 (16:03):
Winter springs? So I got to remember there's four seasons,
hence the four seasons. The most overrated season is spring,
and I'm gonna tell you why because that's when alleryies
kick in and springtime in California is very different from
springtime and say Chicago, as we learned this last year
when we shot our movie, it was snowing in Chicago
(16:27):
during spring. So that is highly overrated.
Speaker 5 (16:29):
Underrated is fall.
Speaker 3 (16:33):
I know winter gets a lot of love, but fall
autumn it's like the perfect temperature pretty much everywhere, like
the transentral. Well, that's it's nice everywhere you go during fall.
It could be California, it could be Florida, it can
be Texas. It's it's that's a nice time. Yere, Spring's tricky.
Speaker 1 (16:48):
More Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 3 (16:51):
Hey, Mario Lopez here, keep it the music in fun
coming your way. As we powered through the first Monday
at twenty twenty five, I've also got to take time
to recognize today's obscure holiday. Today is cut Love Day,
perfect for winter. I love me some cuddle time, especially
if you get to do it in front of a
(17:11):
fireplace where it's nice and warm. You get a good
nap that way.
Speaker 5 (17:15):
That's it.
Speaker 3 (17:16):
Thanks again to Osha Jackson for zooming INFU. Chat with
him now at onmimaro dot com. More fun Tomorrow, Stephen
Bowin's gonna be here to talk about joining the new
