Speaker 4 (00:23):
You're all Mario Lopez digging into the buzz. Because Kendrick
Lamar headed to the big.
Speaker 1 (00:27):
Screen on with Mario Hollywood Buzz.
Speaker 4 (00:31):
Well, a lot of mixed reviews on Kendrick Lamar's halftime show,
so I'm interested to hear the reviews for his new comedy.
As in a movie or it is, Kendrick has teamed
up with South Park creators Trey Parker Matt Stone for
a live action comedy set to be released in theaters
on July fourth.
Speaker 6 (00:47):
You know, I didn't see this coming. One thing about Kendrick,
he seems pretty intense.
Speaker 4 (00:51):
I know he had a funny side, but Paramount Ceo
claims that the script is one of the funniest and
most original they've ever read. That's a bold statement, and
that it's quote sir, and to create some fireworks. Does
he stop picking on Drake or does he continue?
Speaker 7 (01:06):
No? No, I imagine if the South Park guys are
going to be part of this, Drake is gonna get it.
Speaker 6 (01:11):
Wow, he said game over at the super Bowl.
Speaker 4 (01:13):
We'll see more.
Speaker 1 (01:14):

Speaker 4 (01:28):
Well, it's not my least favorite break when you rank them,
it is, No, you have to be specific. It's my
least favorite starchy breakfast between French toast, crapes, pancakes, and waffles.
It does come in number four. I don't like the
puddles of syrup too much.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
Is there a fifth starchy breakfast?
Speaker 4 (01:48):
Can you think I want? I can't think I want
donut o Mario Corney Lopez sound to make it weird
with Courtney's a random thought?
Speaker 6 (01:56):

Speaker 5 (01:57):

Speaker 6 (02:24):
Honey?
Speaker 5 (02:24):
This is from at sabrinatte Feckery and she said, gotta say,
based on the guys I've dated, I must now confirm
that study about most women choosing their dog over a
man is accurate.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (02:35):
I posted about that where the studies said most single
women would choose their dog over the man they're dating,
to which I said, I think most married women would
probably choose their dog over their husband too.
Speaker 5 (02:46):
What do I always tell you when you don't like
the dog he's snoring, you can leave.
Speaker 6 (02:51):
Yeah, exactly, That's why I was speaking from experience.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
Good luck, Sabrina, Mario Lopez will be right back.
Speaker 4 (02:58):
You're a Mario Lopez kuok reminder up Onmara dot com

us an exclusive performance of mirror Ball from the first
show of her aristour. Lady Gaga gave a powerful speech
as she received the Innovator Award. A lot of performances
to Billie Eilish and Phineas opened the show, plus some
Money Long and Tory Kelly, who really killed It, paid
(03:19):
tribute to Icon Award recipient Mariah again on Mario dot
com slash Music Awards or highlights or to stream the
entire show right now, And who's all right? A few
more songs. They're gonna fire up Zoom so we can
chat with Tamra and all you're on Mario Corney Lopez
busier than ever, hosting her talk show and now dropping
a new children's book back with a scoop next Tebral
(03:41):
Mario Lopez, join me right now on Zoom. Emmy Award
winning TV host my buddy Tamarn Hall, how are you, Tamorn?
Speaker 3 (03:48):
Hey, Maria, so good to see you.
Speaker 4 (03:50):
So nice to see you too. You look great as
always and and this is exciting. You had a new
children's book out called Harlem Honey, The Adventures of a
Curious Kid and it's inspired by your son, Moses, right.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
It is.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
It is.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
It's a little love letter, for lack of a better description,
to him. You knew me before I was a mom,
way back in the day, exploring the city of New
York and the careers that we both have had. And
I'm sure like you, there's so many things that you
thought about before becoming a parent, and then suddenly you're
actually a member of this team.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
Right.
Speaker 3 (04:24):
It's one thing to study the plays or to watch
other people do it or experience it from the view
of our own parents, and then suddenly you're on the
team and you're like calling the plays. And this book
is really about this journey with me and Moses.
Speaker 6 (04:38):
And there is no blueprint to call those plays.
Speaker 4 (04:41):
You just kind of got to roll with the punches
right there, and we got to roll and do a
quick break. So Tamor and Hank time, we're gonna have more.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
On the way, more fun on the way on with
Mario Lopez.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
Getting back to tammaron Halls on Zoom with us here
On with Mario Lopez, or new children's book is out now,
Harlem Honey, The Adventures of a Curious Kid and you
actually live in Harlem currently, right.
Speaker 3 (05:01):
And I used to live in Harlem. The book is
a love letter to the first home that my son
came home to. We still live in New York City,
but to your point, you know, we lived in Harlem
when my son was born. And when you say you know,
you can't, there's a blueprint for it. My son was
almost a year old when the pandemic happened. So he
went from family in Texas and friends in Philly, and
(05:23):
family in Chicago and all over the country, this big
circle of friends and family who were excited that I
finally had a child at age forty eight. And then
we went to just me, my husband and Moses. And
when we re emerge from you know, being in our
home and locked in, my kid in the home was
super outgoing. You know, he's like a little Mario. I
(05:45):
thought he was ready to be an actor and host
and all these things. And then we would come out
and he was shy. He would hide behind me. I
feel like his hands get a little warm and sweaty.
And this shyness that I wasn't expecting was now part
of our journey. And so this book really is about
how to talk about fear and how to talk about
(06:07):
change and new places and new faces. You know, back
in the day, people would say to kids, Oh, you
know what, big kids don't cry, Big boys don't cry.
Now we don't use that because we know that's not
positive reinforcement. And this book is really the same when
it comes to fear. How do you talk to a
kid about fear? Do you say, get out there, you
can do it when we know that not everybody is
(06:28):
ready to get out there and do it. So I
found that with my son was this curiosity. So this
book is a sweet little love letter. It's only forty
pages because I know parents are like, okay, how many
more pages? Let me get through this book. But it
gives us a chance to bond and have, I hope,
a loving and supportive conversation about change and fear and
(06:50):
all of that stuff.
Speaker 4 (06:51):
I too have a five year old and during that
same time, and I noticed exactly what you were talking about,
So I can relate.
Speaker 6 (06:57):
Yeah, because you know, during COVID and stuff, it did.
Speaker 4 (06:59):
And I noticed as compared to my other kids too,
it took them kind of a little bit to kind
of come out of the shell. And you're right that
that interaction is so important, especially in those developmental years
in the beginning. So I can totally really congratulations on
that book. Look forward to checking it out. All right,
hang on more with tamer and Hall coming up.
Speaker 6 (07:15):
But first more music.
Speaker 4 (07:17):
A Mario Lopez catching up with Tammer and Hall, who
is on Zoom just dropped a new children's book.
Speaker 6 (07:22):
And of course your daytime.
Speaker 4 (07:23):
TV show, Tammer and Hall Show season six, Now that's awesome.
Speaker 3 (07:27):
Yeah, and we just got renewed for season seven, which
makes us the second longest running syndicated show talk show
in Disney's history. So it's a wild ride, one that
you know, I am so grateful for because knowing that,
you know, when I left my prior job, I was
like late forties, and you know, in the business that
(07:48):
we're in and just is in life, right, it can
be unforgiving after a certain age. And I used to
tell my husband that back in the day, you I
would be that anchor that you ran into at the
big box store and say, hey, I remember you did
you used to be on But in truth, now you're
able to carve out your own identity through social media,
through a lot of platforms, and I was able to
(08:08):
do that and then turn it into this talk show
that I'm so proud of, with the phenomenal team of
people that I work with every day.
Speaker 4 (08:15):
I'm happy for it and I'm glad that it's taking.
But right there, all right, Tamaran, hang on a few
more songs and want to come back with some more
tammer on. Tamaron Hall hanging on Zoom withut Mario Lopez
here and Tamoran Random random question. I always wanted to
ask you because I remember when we were talking, and
I remember way back in the day, because I know
you for a while now, you say like Prince used
to hit you up all the time.
Speaker 6 (08:36):
Prince was your homie.
Speaker 4 (08:37):
And I used to think that was just so cool
because I love Prince and everybody got the while I
even got a wild Prince story. But what was like
a like a wild or just like an odd Prince
Prince ism that I would that I could appreciate because
I got.
Speaker 6 (08:51):
Something I got.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
Mine are mine are more along a heartfelt lie. Yours
are probably like what night we were? You know? Maybe
well there's one that will there two that come to mind.
One the very first time I met him in person.
We've been you know, talking as friends for a long time,
funny enough, like kind of like pin pals with phone
(09:16):
piles whatever. And he said, you know, I want to
come to New York. I'm gonna come here. And I'm like, okay, ready,
And this has gone on for for quite a bit
of time.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
And was he trying to day?
Speaker 6 (09:26):
Was he trying to steph Was he trying to step
to you.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
Or step to me?
Speaker 3 (09:30):
Is dancing?
Speaker 2 (09:31):
Was he was he?
Speaker 4 (09:32):
Was he flirting with you? Was he coming aunt to you?
Speaker 3 (09:34):
Or just have you met?
Speaker 1 (09:36):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (09:37):
Exactly, of course that.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
Was always making him.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
That's exactly exactly.
Speaker 6 (09:45):
Okay, stupid question, and so that's okay.
Speaker 3 (09:48):
And so you know, I remember him pulling up and
he was in the car and I opened the door
and I was like, whoa, that's Prince. It's wild, and.
Speaker 4 (09:56):
That is wild, all right, Taron, hang on because I
want to get your other print story table.
Speaker 6 (09:59):
Got to take a break. More with Tamaran on the Way.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
You're the full interview now at on with Mario dot Com.
More Mario Lopez on.
Speaker 4 (10:06):
The Way, wrapping up with Tamarind has been hanging on
Zoom with us this hour.
Speaker 6 (10:10):
Mario Lopez here and a bit of goal you were
telling us.
Speaker 4 (10:12):
A story about Prince and you said you had another
memorable or important one.
Speaker 1 (10:16):
Right.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
More important story to me, honestly, was when I had
just been in the throes of not knowing what my
next step would be in the next chapter, and he
had passed away, and we are approaching the anniversary of
the world losing him in this form, and I hadn't
(10:39):
check some emails or whatever, Mario, so whild and I
this email popped up in my priority emails that I
hadn't seen, and it said, why are you waiting for
someone else to do it when you could do it yourself?
And it turns out it was an email that I
had missed from him.
Speaker 6 (10:57):
Oh wow.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
And it was in this crosshairs as you know you've
been as well. Well, we're trying to figure out our
next step, right, everybody's got an opinion. You believe you
can do something. You've got this version of yourself. And
I was in my apartment in Tribeca alone and this
email comes, and I've thought, am I crazy? Right?
Speaker 1 (11:17):
Wait?
Speaker 3 (11:17):
Wait, wait wait? And I could tell that it hadn't
been read before, but it was a message from him.
And so a lot of my memories really were just
of him encouraging me, you know, encouraging me to think
beyond what I was doing and to prepare for that
next chapter. That's why he was such a visionary. So
I know my story is a lot more heartfelt and
sensitive yours is probably including some wildness in Hollywood, but
(11:40):
I won't push.
Speaker 4 (11:40):
I won't push for that one in Vegas. But I'll
tell you another day. Love seeing you and everyone. Please
be sure to pick up Tamara's new children's book, Harlem Honey,
The Adventures of a Curious Kid, which is out now,
and of course be sure to check out your local

Hey your old Mario Courtney Lopez. Time to get some
fresh life hacks in Courtney's Corner.
Speaker 6 (12:34):
What you got, honey.
Speaker 5 (12:36):
We're talking about never having to deep scrub your shower again.
Speaker 6 (12:41):
Okay, So all you have to do is.
Speaker 5 (12:42):
Buy one of those dish ones that you can fill
up with don dish soap. You fill it with dish
soap and vinegar. Vinegar is like the key to everything. Yeah,
and keep it in your shower. Then scrub the walls
and tub every time after you shower and before you
get out. Takes you about ninety seconds, and you'll never
have grime or mold growing in your shower again.
Speaker 3 (13:06):
You know.
Speaker 5 (13:06):
It's always like it's one of those things where you
have take your shoes off and you don't want to
put them away. If you just put them away when
you take them off, then it's done. If you just
put the dishwasher the dishes in the dishwasher when you're done,
then it's done. Clean the shower when you're done, and
then it saves your time in the future.
Speaker 2 (13:23):
Clean your body, clean your shower.

Speaker 4 (16:23):
Things Actress Millie Bobby Brown has had it with the haters.
Milly recently clapped back of those who criticized her online,
saying that her new blonde hair makes her look substantially
older than she is. One commoner even saying I can't
believe she's only twenty. She looks thirty five. Fans defended
her in the comments section, and Milly eventually responded to
(16:43):
the hate by commenting, women grow not sorry about it.
Speaker 6 (16:47):
You know, I don't think it's really the hair. I
think whoever our stylist is chose a very mature outfit
that was not complementary to her youthfulness.
Speaker 3 (16:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (17:00):
Times, the way you dress makes you look a little
older or whatever. And she's out doing events and stuff.
Me people are gonna pick clothes for her.
Speaker 4 (17:06):
Yeah, leave Millie alone. Meanwhile, bb Rex had taken on
the body shamers after someone drop rude comments about her
during a recent IG live. When asked about it, Boebe
responded that she's unbothered by it, adding that instead of
letting all that break her down, it's actually made her
feel more powerful. She's been working on new music and
been putting it into my music. Go ahead, now, Boebe,
that's the way to handle that.
