Speaker 2 (00:04):
Debora and Mario Lopez joining me right now on Zoom
my old friend Denise Richards.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
How are you, Denise?

Speaker 1 (00:10):
I'm great, Thank you for having me, Thank.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
You for taking the time.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Always great to see you and you look awesome as usual.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (00:18):
Now.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
We've actually talked about this on my show Access Daily,
but it's such a trip because I've just seen the footage.
I was so impressed that you literally decided to dive
in to this TV show Special Forces, which is on Fox.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
How'd you end up on the show.

Speaker 4 (00:35):
Well, they asked him to do it. I said no
a couple of times, and then after several calls, I
was convinced that.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
You know, I think part of why I did it.

Speaker 4 (00:47):
Was because I was so afraid to do it, and
I thought, you know, this is a once in a
lifetime I will never have an opportunity like this. It's
so challenging and completely you know, out of my comfort zone.
So that's really why I decided to just, you know,
just do it.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
Good for you.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
More people should have that attitude and this was wild,
but you actually and I didn't know what's possible.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
Ruptured an implant, on the show is not a two
both of them. Oh my gosh, that's wild.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
So yeah, and I can't remember was it as is
it as painful as it sounds, It doesn't.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Feel super great.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
It's I had to wear a harness jumping off that
bridge and with the pressure the forest and the pressure
and everything.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Yeah, those suckers passed right away, and I was like.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
Oh my gosh, but I didn't want to say anything.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
I and I also hurt my not to have too
much t m I. But downstairs, I had, you know,
some hernias repaired.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
I think after my C section, well from my c
sections I hadn't repaired a few years ago, and in
the grain area, and so I was worried that I
also did something there too.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
So I didn't feel so good after I jumped off
that bridge.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
Man, that is that is sound.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
Too embarrassed to say something to the DS, Like, by
the way, I think I broke my boobs.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
So I was like, how do I tell these guys.

Speaker 4 (02:18):
Something when my one boob is going to go that
way and the other one I don't know where it's
gonna end up, Like I couldn't believe it.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Well, I'm glad you're all healed up and you're a solo.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
No I thought to eat these suckers fixed.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
I haven't had my downtime yet. Really, that's happening in
a couple of weeks.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
You are a tough girl. Good good luck.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
I've had to I need the downtime. And right after
we wrapped, we went into our show. So I haven't
had really a chance. Now I will in a couple
of weeks.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
Well, good for you, good luck, and God bless you.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
I'll let you know how they turn out.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
Thank you. Appreciate some pretty fun competitor is on the show.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
We got Cam Newton, Landon, Donovan, Carrie Hart, who who did?

Speaker 3 (03:06):
Who were you closest to on the cast?

Speaker 4 (03:09):
I was closest to Trista Sutter, Marion Jones, amazing, Nathan Swimmer,
God bless him, saved my life and Cam Newton and
Golden Tate. Those guys really helped me so much. They're
the best and I really adore them.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
They were incredible.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
Well that's cool, that's cool.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
I'm glad to do that.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
I think people are going to be in for a
special treat. You're also returning to E for a new
reality show this year.

Speaker 4 (03:38):
Denise Richard's, well, it's gonna be we're announcing where it's
going to be.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
Eric, it's not even forgive me.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
But no, they're gonna it'll be announced, but it's going
to be in the spring. And it's a reality show
with my family, with the kids, my husband, friends, familiar
faces and a little bit of everything.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
Nice.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
How do your how do your kids react to uh,
to to to the cameras around and stuff? Right?

Speaker 3 (04:06):
I mean, are they cool? They are they comfortable.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
My youngest she is Eloise and she's special needs, and
she loved when we were filming. She loves being on camera,
but she just was so funny being on camera.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
The older girls really liked it.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
And these were conversations that we had for quite a
while because I wanted to make sure the scope of
the show of what it would be, because if they
weren't wanting to be on it, they that's you know fine,
and we would, you know, do it a little different.
And but they were really into it, wanting to be
on it. And it's definitely has its challenges, also working

(04:44):
with your kids in a different way as they're older,
and it's uh, you know, it was good.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
It's got some challenges.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
It's crazy and my girls, the older girls go at
it a little bit, and.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
But it was Uh, you know, I'm excited.

Speaker 4 (04:58):
We wrapped it right before Chris so nice.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Aaron Sue, congrats on that.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
That's funny because my teen daughter, the only fights we
ever get into is because if I don't run the
photo by her that I either want.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
To post or video, all hell breaks loose.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
And then I have to lie and see I cleared
it by your mom. Your mom stood it was fine.

Speaker 4 (05:20):
I had that issue too, and I learned the hard
way too, and it would and I would have to
take stuff down.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
I'm like, right, I take it down and they look great.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
It's just they're so picky, right, it's so different.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
Is it's so funny?

Speaker 4 (05:37):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (05:37):
You did a film coincidentally with Stephen Baldwin who was
on the show called Walk and Miracle.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
What is iving about?

Speaker 4 (05:44):
Actually his brother directed it, Daniel, and it was with
him and I worked with also Billy Baldwin.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
He plays my husband in it. So I got three
Baldwin brothers in this movie.

Speaker 4 (05:59):
Wow, which was very funny to see all three of
them on set at once.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
But it's a it's an emotional story.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
And it's very part warming and you know some a couple, uh,
you know, parents going through something that's very tragic with
one of their children. And it was, but it's it's good.
I'm excited for when that starts, when people can see that.
So but it was for something though, doing something that

(06:27):
is so emotional and dramatic. Having someone like Steve involvement
on set helped a lot in between takes because he
is so funny and really hilarious and and say and
Billy too, but Billy is more super It's funny watching

(06:48):
all three of them because they are very different.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
But but Steven's the one that's like the you know, I.

Speaker 4 (06:55):
Would say, the life of the party and you know,
fun and he was great to work with.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
Yeah, they're good guys, very cool.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
Now.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
I can't believe this, but it's been about thirty four
years since I rescued you from drowning.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
It's four years.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
Yes, can you believe that? It doesn't feel like that?
What are you?

Speaker 1 (07:17):
You know?

Speaker 4 (07:17):
That was my first job and I was terrified to
work with you and I had to be in a
bikini pretending like I was drowning. I felt so stupid.
It was my first acting job. That was the first
job got me tapped Hartley into SAG and I only
had a couple of lines, and I kept going over

(07:38):
them and over them and over them. I was so
nervous saying like two lines and anything.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
I was so nervous to shoot that show.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
You were fantastic. I believe you had I can't believe
I remember this, but I think you had on like
a green bikini or something green bathing suit.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
From way back then. I can't believe I remember that,
but it was, uh, I.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
Can't believe you remember. That's to thank you.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
Yeah, I remember how how good was a slater rescuing you.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
I was so embarrassed.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
I was like, I can't believe I have This show
is huge and you know he was is still very popular,
and I was just like, I cannot believe I'm going
to be in a bathing suit and have to pretend
and do help help in the ocean.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
And it was so worried. I was like, I'm gonna
be too heavy.

Speaker 4 (08:33):
It's gonna pick me up and carry me out onto
the stand. And it was just like by the way,
I got a residual check no Way Holidays for three cents.

Speaker 3 (08:43):
Yeah. By the way. I did a lot of Mario
for it.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
Yeah, exactly, But I get some three sometimes they're like
they're like still, and I'm like, why mail them? The
postage is more than the check itself. It's the weirdest
I know.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
I was gonna frame it. Actually, that's a good idea.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
I'm mad that we didn't bring this up when you
were on my show Access Daily.

Speaker 3 (09:03):
Next time you come up, we have to bring this
story up.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
Yeah, we got funny because it's that I can't.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
I mean, first of all, I want to know what
you're doing because you don't age and you lost the
same as you did when I was when I met
you that long ago.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
It's crazy. You're so sweet.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
No, I drink a lot of tequila and hucking mom.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
You're so sweet. It was viral for it this week,
all right.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
He's always so good to see you in. Congrats on everything.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
Listen.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
