How are you. I'm good for you. I'm doing great.
Nice to see you. Last time we saw each other
we did a little tango, Yes we did. I love
that you're keeping up. Congrats on that, and also congrats

on this new movie, Adventures in Christmas ing to holiday
action adventured. Um, is that a fair way to describe it?
How would you describe? That's the perfect way to describe it?
An action adventure romcom no less and you're the boss
on this star ep music even do your own stunts?
How is it wearing all those hats? Um stylishly? And uh,

(00:48):
I mean, you know, having a great team is so important. Um,
and so I've got I'm always saying that it takes
a village to raise Kim Fields, and so doing that
in a production is very much the same thing. You know,
have been a great crew, uh, and a great cast
that you know just comes to the party ready awesome

(01:08):
and and uh, I saw a little bit and it's
it's it's funny and you jump from the Chopper and
chasing Animals, UM Adventurers and Christmas sing is definitely different
in a lot of fun. So congratulations on that, Kim. Um.
I also want to talk about your Netflix show The Upshaws,
which was recently renewed. Congrats on that. For those who
haven't seen it, how would you explain it? Uh? The

(01:31):
Upshaws is a wonderful mix of a throwback style of
UM comedy storytelling with a very recent and current and
edgy twist to it. The characters are this family, blue collar,
working class family in Indianapolis in Indiana, and they are

(01:52):
doing all they can to maintain their sanity. So it
sounds like a lot of families right there. Absolutely that
the relatability is, I think the keys as well as
the comedy that really makes it just pop for everybody.
And how are you spending your holidays this year? Kim?
Are you gonna stay home? You're traveling? I'm doing a
lot of press for this wonderful movie. Okay, So I'm

(02:12):
on a mega press tour which is great for adventures
and Christmas thing. I will have I think a half
a day off, so I think I will try to
rest for just a few minutes. You know that you're
a family guy, so you understand how wonderful it is
to have that time to just breathe where you don't
have to do anything, just just be in the same

(02:33):
space with your families. Just that right there is everything
that is everything. You just want to freeze that time up.
I feel you on that old hold of the kids now.
And what do they want for Christmas? Uh? You know,
let's see the youngest is he'll be eight on December three,
and then our oldest boy, Sebastian, he's uh, he'll be
fifteen in May. Um, and you know they're still they're

(02:55):
so easy and chill and laid back. So uh, you
know that they're they're gamers, they're big time gamers. And
the little one, you know, if you get him some
money in roadbloff, you've got a friend for life. Yea.
I know all that too well, So funny keeps some occupied. Um.
Is there a particular favorite Christmas movie that you love,

(03:17):
aside from the usual that we usually hear, like Home
Alone and what have you? Is there one that kind
of aside from adventures and Christmas, aside from your own
I should say too, aside from your own from my
own Christmas movie. Um, you know, I always enjoy Polar
express I just love that movie. I look every frame. Yeah,

(03:39):
it's just a great movie. The music is so great. Um,
the the it's it's it's so captivating even though it's animated.
The you know, the animation feels so real. Um. And
I just I adore Tom Hanks and so, you know,
certainly just anything us in but but Polar Expresses is
kind of the go to that sound hot chocolate that

(03:59):
gets you going, yeah, okay, good, I like your style
and anything else we should know about adventures and Christmas
ng um to make sure we tune in. Well, it
is very unique in that, Um, you know, we're making
history with v H one, and for v H one,
they've never done original holiday movie. I was going to say,
this sounds like the first one for lifetime and exactly

(04:22):
is it still under the A and E networks from
now Lifetime? Yes, but VH one is viacom, got it,
that's right? So yeah, yeah, and so they have decided
to jump both feed in being naughty or nice as
they say, for the holidays, and we are actually the
kickoff movie. And so I love the things wanted to Yeah,
they wanted to embrace adventure and when two people are

(04:45):
thrown together into a very wild environment known as the
great outdoors, what can happen? There's danger, there's a lot
of ways to impact your life, and realizing that life
begins at the end of your comforts. It's exactly exciting.
And romance can be met there too. Absolutely, we can't
have a holiday movie, I don't think without some sort

(05:08):
of romance and v H one of course, you have
to bring romance the right way, so you know some
naughty or nice in the romance as well, and you
check all those boxes. I love it. I love it
and I love always catching up with you. Congratulations on
on everything going on, and watch Adventures in Christmas thing
