now on Zoom singer, podcaster and singer. My man Lance
Best welcome back to the show.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
But how are you big? I've been doing good. How
are you, Mario?

Speaker 1 (00:13):
I'm doing well.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
I'm doing well.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
You look good, man. I'm digging the color right there?
What inspired that?

Speaker 2 (00:18):
You know what? This was my Daniel Moon, who does
my hair color. I went in.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
I was gonna go totally platinum, you know, easy breezy
people used to that, and He's like, no, we're going
pink today.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
So I had no choice. He turned me pink and
I actually love that. So fun.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Well, you've got a lot of faith in my man,
right there. Just do what you gotta do.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Okay, I do I do?

Speaker 3 (00:38):
My hair is going through a lot in my life,
so you know it just fuss people.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Now it works, man, it works. You'll pull it off.
A lot of buzz about the feature on the new
Timberlake song Paradise. Will there be a live performance?

Speaker 2 (00:50):
I mean, I hope.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
So you know this song, Paradise is it's one of
my favorite songs that you ever recorded. It is, It's beautiful,
made my mom cry so tell what kind of song
it is, but it's a very special song and I'm
excited for people to hear this, and I think it'd
be crazy for us not to perform this at some point. So,
you know, we'll see Justin's got his album and his

(01:12):
tour coming out, so we're really focused on that, and
then after that, who knows.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
But the future future looks good. Good.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
I lost seeing you guys back together right there, and
I understand you're training for five K right now.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Huh.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Yeah, you know, I want to do something in my
elder age to pretend that I'm young, But no, I'm
really trying to focus on health right now. You know,
I'm dealing with being diabetic at a late age, you know,
like we're talking about today.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
My allergies are insane.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
So I'm really trying to focus on myself right now,
especially you know, if there is going to be a
new Instant chapter, I want to be in tip top shape.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
No, I agree with you, and you mentioned allergies. I too,
unfortunately have to deal with allergies and I know you
teamed up with Allegra to help people who suffer from it.
What's it about?

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Yeah, I mean my allergies get worse as I get older,
but I think that's also because pollution gets worse. You know,
majority of people are going to have allergies these days.
And you know, I've teamed up with a Legra because
They've come out with this new mapping tool which is
so incredible. It's called Alleger Airways. You just do airways
dot Allegra dot com. And what it does is, I mean,

(02:22):
I'm sure you're a hiker like me and you know
it love being outdoors, but it will plan the path
that you should take if you're going to run errands
or going on a hiker through kids to avoid the
things you're allergic to.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
I mean, it's just it's brilliant.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
So to be like, hey take a you know, take
a left two streets over and you won't pass that.
You know that tree that you're allergic to, or the
pollen is is crazy there. So it has all these
tools for real time hyper local pollen pollution data.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
I mean, it is it is brilliant.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
Wow, that's kind of cool. I've never heard of anything
like that. Right now, Lance, coming this summer, you got
a Halloween kids book. I like the title Trigger treat
on Scary Street. Tell me about that.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
I mean, it's it's something I've been working on for
quite a while. You know, now that I have kids,
my brain's just like kid, kid, kid, kid kid. So
I have tons of children's books that I'm working on.
And my first one is Trigger Treat on Scary Street.
You know, you can pre order now, but comes out
end of July. But it's so fun because one the
illustration is incredible.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
This illustrator out of France rolling so great.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
This will definitely be a series of books because Halloween
is my favorite and I love Trigger Treating and I
like a little bit of you know, scary Halloween for
the kids. So you know, it's one of those books
that you know, can get a little creepy and I
love that. I love to, you know, scare the kids
just slightly.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Yeah, I know that's healthy.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
Yeah, it's healthy. Healthy.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Tell me about this musical that you're producing based on
Edwards Scissorhands.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Yeah, you know, it's it's a musical that's been around
for you know a few years here in Los Angeles
and has a cult following, and it is a parody
of for Scissorhands, some of the best music it's you know,
jukebox musical, so some of your favorite songs, and you know,
I grew up with rock, so it's a lot of
great rock songs in it. But it just it finished

(04:12):
here in la in December or actually January, and now
we're trying to take it bigger. So we're probably bringing
it to London next and in New York. But it's
it's really fun. It's more of like a dinner theater show,
so you're kind of inside the musical, but it's it
really pulls on every emotion you have. People leave there,
you know, crying, laughing, I mean everything. But I'm excited

(04:34):
for people to be able to see this in the
near future.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
Fun man, good for you. Good luck with that space
tourism getting a little easier than when you trained twenty
years ago. Yeah, it seems to be at least any
interest in one of those strips.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
I mean, I would I would love to go. My
thing is all and I've been asked to go with
every single company.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
Cool but one. I'm not paying twenty million dollars to
go to space.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
Not But what's so great about this is how far
we have come, you know, in the twenty years that
I've been in this space tourism world. You know, when
I trained to go to space back in two thousand
and two, you know, Dennis Tito had just come back.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
It was our first space tourist.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
So you know, it was just so nice to be
able to dip one little toe into this whole space
tourism when all this pioneer is everyone's pioneering this thing.
So now to see that there's so many opportunities for
people to go to space, it's only going to help
our planet. You know, we'll be able to explore so
much easier, so much faster. But if I go, it

(05:37):
will always you know, I have my rules. I have
to go to the ISS. I'm going to live there
for ten days. I'm going to do my experiments I
never got to do, and really work. I have no
want to just go up and fill zero G. I
want to go up there and actually participate and do something.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
You know.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Good, yeah, okay, good to know.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
Good to know.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
Perhaps you might do the first musical in space.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
You never know.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
He groundbreaking, right on, men, We'll congrats on everything and
look for trick or treat on Scary Street in July. Lance,
thanks for hanging out.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
Thanks so much Mario, good to see you all.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Rybody, I'll see you soon. Take care all right.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Thank you with Mario Lopez
