Must feel good to know your music continues to inspire
young artists, right.

It feels really good to hear you know, them tell
us stuff like that, and even when they do their
own little tributes and things.

I mean, it's it's an honor.

Yeah, that's awesome. And coming to Lifetime in a on
E on June third. This is very cool.

TLC Forever was it cathartic to revisit some of these
chapters from the past. I gotta imagine a little therapeutic
fun At the same time, it was real fun.

It was like a walk down memory lane. It reminded
us of all the good times we had together. So
you get this fuzzy feeling in your your belly.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
I gotta imagine and there's a lot of home video
from back in the day to write who who had
all that footage? Or was that from like a archives?

I say everything.

I kept a camcorder and a camera on my smart
and the hanging I would just catch everything.

Oh well, you were ahead of the time before the iPhone.

Your first national tour was opening for mc hammer. That
must have been so much fun. What do y'all remember
about that?

That was the best ever. That was the best tour.

Really, And I'm trying to say Bobby Brown second too.

I like Bobby. It was a lot of drama. That
was too much drama.

I love Bobby too, and I love Hammer. But first Hammer.

I'm younger. No one of them was married or sleeping
with Bobby's brother.

Yeah, Tommy, they were actually together because I guess I
dated her ex.

Boyfriend, like soap up in there not gut, okay you.

I did, yeah, but they so what was the helper's problem?

Friends? She was about to get beat down.

Almos had a square up on her own.

They want people look at us because we're so tiny,

And they were like bigger girls.

But that's kind of like, how look, we don't encourage violence,

They started if they messed with my sister. I feel

so close. Speaking of which, after Lisa's tragedy, did you
at every point consider going back to a trio or No?

Never, It wasn't even all for a second.

You know, when you work together and build something together,
I don't care if the person isn't here physically. We
did this together, So it's always TLC. So I just
think it's ignorant when people say, oh, it's TC now. No,
if you've ever worked for something, you pay a million
dollars per letter for your name, you deserve that name, honey.

Absolutely, absolutely, that's awesome to hear right there.

Getting back to your your your tour. It's kicking off
a couple of days, big summer tour. It's gonna be awesome.
I'm looking forward to checking it out right there. Well,

Absolutely, We're working on a Broadway play into TV shows,
so I'm sure there'll be new music incorporated.

Oh that's especially for the musical.

Yeah, yeah, the Broadway play. Those things take a minute
to put together, but that's awesome. I love when they
take much like ud only in the four seasons with
Jersey Boys, and they did and they take and they
kind of take a journey and with all their songs
and they tell the story. Those are my favorite kind
of shows.

So I'm gonna have to check that out as well
when I go out to New York. Whenever that comes out.
