Today on the show we had Golden State Warrior Andre Iguodala stop by where he spoke about his new memoir "Sixth Man", Warriors dynasty, Kevin Durant, Mark Jackson, and more.  Moreover, we opened up the phone lines to see if any of our listeners still send nude pics after Ayesha Curry admitted that she sends her husband nudes still and terrified of a hack. Also, Charlamagne gave "Donkey of the Day" to a woman who allegedly manipulated the children at a medical facility.

Speaker 1 (00:01):
Strous Morning Show, the breakfast call. Y'all together, y'all are
like a manga for us. Y'all just took over every dollar.
This Chris Brown, I've officially joined the breakfast club. Say something, mother,
I'm stangrous. Morning Show, Breakface, Good morning Usa, Good morning fam,

(00:35):
good morning fair, welcome back, easy. Yeah, it's good to
be back. It's Tuesday, back in New York from La. Yeah,
the weather just got nasty outside. It was rain crazy. Yeah,
I heard it's it's been I feel like rain. The
rain has amount of rain everywhere has been crazy lately. Yeah, Like,
has it ever rained this much all the time? Not
as it I'm not mad because it waters the grass.

(00:57):
It waters the grass, It keeps the trees grow. When
I ain't got to pay the sprinklets say, I'm happy,
I'm excited. I like the rain. Actually all right, well, yeah,
good for you anyway, hard for flight delays and for
people trying to get places. The rain is a good thing.
Helps with the earth, right, I'm just saying that as
a positive. I just like the fact I ain't got
to order the grass that's going on experience. It was good.

(01:20):
It was a lot, so it was a lot as
y'all know, I got back last night, and then when
I came back in I had to host a moderate
a piano and that panel was for Live Nation. Okay,
be Nation. So they said you were over in their space.
That Live Nation has a nice space over in Manhattan.
They have they own actually a whole building over there. Yeah,
it's an amazing building. If you don't know what Live

(01:41):
Nation is, and we explain to the people what Live Nations.
They own a bunch of concert and venue halls all
across the country where they do live shows, they do podcasts,
they do all types of things. So a lot of
a lot of the biggest artists have deals with Live
Nation to go on tour and things like that. Chagne Early,
Tory am, I'm supposed to be in six five. So
you know what they say, when you're on time, you're late.

(02:03):
When you're early, year on time. So I'm on time
this morning. That's your story, you stick away? Who told
you six o five? Listen, we all have individual contracts.
Mind your business, an I don't know if it's six
oh five. Once again, we all have individual contracts. Monuments.
All right, Good morning, How are you angela ye, how
are you? And I'm glad you can make it. Yeah,
I'm like, twenty seconds right in front of you. Did

(02:25):
they tell you no, you guts your contract? Ad Justice here?
Thirty seconds? Okay, okay, okay, I'm not gonna lie every morning.
It's like Angela, no one else is here but you.
So we needed to hurry up and start, and then
you ran in right when we're starting. That sounds like
you need a new age. Andre Iguadalla is going to
be joining us this morning. That's right from the Warrior

(02:45):
the State wars who'll be joining us? The book called
A six min Six Man. It's really it's a really
good book. If you are into introspective athletes. Okay you
know what I'm saying, meaning meaning if you want to
know more about what your athletes go through behind the scenes,
not just his basketball players, but as human beings. There
you go. Yeah, and today is Lila's birthday, birthday, drop
one the clues bombs les cancer gang all day. That's right,

(03:10):
so we celebrating her birthday. And also that Kimmy Mottember
on my NBA fans, we should call La Line just
bother her for no reason. We'na do it that we
do only come back. She's probably sleeping. I think she's
yea three am. She brobably party, it's a birthday, she's
robb be out. No, it's three am in lady. All right,
let's get the show cracking front page news. What we're
talking about. Well, I know some of you guys absolutely

(03:31):
love Amazon Prime Day. We'll tell you what's happening with
that this year. Also, imagine you're in an uber and
then all of a sudden they go off the road
down a dirt road. What do you do? Points him
in the back of the head. All right, we'll get
into that next. Keep a lock just to Breakfast Club.
Good morning, I go out, won't ye? All right? Dropped
on a clue bomb for the seven h four Queen City,

(03:52):
Caroline is Salute the Baby Man. I grew up in
the air of animated rappers like Luda, Chris Buster Rhymes,
Missy red Man, Meffi Man, and the Baby's bringing that
field back with these videos in this show. So slew
to the baby that mad? All right, Well, let's get
in some front page news. So with sports. Last night
was the NBA Awards, and the most Valuable Player this
year was the Greek freak. Not not mad at that. Okay,

(04:14):
I won't think my dad obviously, you know, my dad's
not ship with me. But uh, you know two years agoing, um,
you know, I had to go in my head that
I'm going, I'm gonna be the best player in the league. Yeah,
I'm gonna do whatever it thinks till my team win,
and I'm going and everything everything that I step on

(04:35):
the floor, I was thinking about my dad and I'm
motivates man and pushed me through you know, play Harden.
Not mad at that and that at all. Yeah, I
will say I think the regular season MVP is cool,
but it needs to be like an MVP award for
like the whole totality of a of a full season,
like because I mean, who's more valuable to their team
than cow while in it? Who's more valuable to their

(04:56):
team this year than cow while in it from the
regular season to the playoffs to the final? You know
what I'm saying. But that's why you got the playoff MVP. No,
they got a final different, they have a most viable Player.
But I think that it should be something that encompasses
all of that, you know, I think, So all right,
what else we got you. Well, let's talk about Amazon
Prime Day. Last year it lasted for thirty six hours.

(05:16):
This year it's gonna last for forty eight hours. So
Amazon Prime Day will start at midnight on July fifteenth,
and that's gonna be two full days. Now, what Prime
Day does is it drives new members to its one
hundred nineteen dollars annual free shipping program. Also help to
those existing customer relationships. I remember I first gotten it
because the Whole Foods delivery, so that has helped me

(05:38):
out a lot. And they also helped to launch their
new products for Prime members, so they have their own
products as well. So this this is the first Prime
Day in which free one day shipping will be available
to members, but no minimum purchase amount too. I don't
even know what that means. It sounds to me like
they're having a day. What they who just wanted to
give them money? No, it's really deep discount. So there's
a lot of things that you can buy on sale.

(05:59):
And it's the fifth time they've been doing Prime Day,
so it's also a way to get memberships. When you're
a member of Amazon Prime, you get all kinds of
rewards for that. Oh, yeah, so we're giving them a
bunch of our money, saving money, saving money. Yeah. So
it's like a birthday. It's like Black Friday. I like
getting money on my day too, So when my birthday
comes Saturday, I'll open up a cash yet. Right, It's
like kind of like Black Friday, but just on Prime.

(06:21):
So all this is huge discounts on my television selecta
all of that. Now, Bernie Sanders has announced a plan.
He wants to cancel all one point six trillion dollars
of student loans debt. Here's what he said. Ten years ago,
the United States government bailed out Wall Street after their greed,
their recklessness, and their illegal behavior drove us into the

(06:43):
worst recession in modern history. The American people bailed out
Wall Street. Now it is time for Wall Street to
come to the aid of a middle class of this country.
The proposal that we introduced today all students that would
be canceled in six months sounds great, huh. Yeah. The

(07:05):
problem with that is that there's people that can't afford
to pay their student loans, so then that debt is
canceled for them as well. I know Elizabeth Warren has
a plan where she would also cancel student loan debt
for households with income under one hundred thousand dollars, but
if you make more than two hundred and fifty thousand,
you still got to pay that. I'm glad to see
Bernie is still active in this thing. Sometimes you forget
Bernie is still in this race. Man, with all the

(07:25):
headlines about Trump and Biden and may Peton send the
hats and a little bit of Warren. They take a
ball of headlines. Glad to see Bernie still got a post.
I feel like this is just say anything at this
point of like car salesman, Uh, we're gonna we're gonna
do We're gonna do it in six months. It's dream
selling season. What's wrong with you? All? Right now? Madge?
You got into an uber and or at least you
thought you did, and then you end up going down
a dirt road the opposite direction of where the uber

(07:47):
was supposed to go. Well, that's what happened in South Carolina.
Hilton Head, South Carolina. These two women were outside of
Hilton Head a restaurant, and they called an Uber. They
knew the man was not their Uber driver, but they
thought they saw an Uber sign on his windshow. They
got in the car. They just got in anyway. It
was an suv. Now that there was one woman riding
in the front and one in the back. And when
they saw he was driving down a dirt road, that's

(08:10):
when she said she was going to call nine one
the Uber driver, and then grabbed the well the alleged
Uber driver grabbed the phone from her hand. Stop the car.
All of them got out, and that's when he approached them.
The woman got her phone back, called nine one one,
and he sped off. So they have not located or
identified the driver. They don't even know whether or not
he really was an Uber driver or a transportation driver.
I knew it wasn't there driving. They got in the

(08:31):
car anyway. Well, I don't know if y'all check the
fine print of Uber when you call an Uber, but
Uber always tells you to check the license plate to
make sure that I know it's my car. They asked
you to driver's name. The driver used to ask you, Hey,
is your name so and so when you get in
the car, like, come on and let the record shall
I grew up on a dirt road in South Carolina,
but that would still scare me to be going down
a scrange dirt road. Okay, because it's not my dirt road.
While am I done it? All right? Well, that is

(08:53):
your front page news. Stop Street Times on your route.
We sure, dude, okay, all right, well absolutely do that's
front page news. Get it off your chests eight hundred
five eighty five one on five one. If you're upset,
you need to vent hit us up right now. Maybe
you had a bad night, a bad morning, or maybe
you feel blessed. You want to spread some positivity eight
five eight five one on five one. Get it off
your chests. It's the breakfast Club. Good morning, the breakfast Club.

(09:21):
This is your time to get it off your chest,
whether you're mad or blast, So plea better have the
same in We want to hear from you on the
breakfast Club. How about who's this? This is Tiffany. Hey, Tiffany,
good morning, good morning, good morning, good morning. Hey, get
it off your chests. Yeah, I'm just pumped this morning.
My husband, my kids were blast. My second Chad, she

(09:42):
got skilled from the fourth grade to the sixth grade
from alling out of control. Yes, we are. My husband,
we had on the sex last night, working five because
we got four kids. I want thunderstand what is thunder sect?
Years underst what is that you have when the lightning

(10:03):
come out? You know what was playing on? Oh? Got
you got you? Yeah, that's a good film. Now I
was sucking on stage. Fine, but I jumped up too quick.
But that's fine. We can still get starting. Yes, man, alright, mom, okay,
all right, well enjoy your dad. You seem happy in
the fourth grade to the sixth grade. That's amazing. All right,
have a go one? Yes, thank you God? What hello?
Who's this? Joey? Hey, Joey, get it off your chests?

(10:25):
Hey man, I want to tell you DJ really do
get to start the short six so far? Like Charlotte
Magne and said, man, look, the show starts is six.
We were just joking, Charlotte Charlotgne. He said six to five,
but it starts to six. Or they think I'm joking.
They think I'm joking about my time being different. Okay,
damn you should know you Dominican man. Goodbye, man? Hello,

(10:50):
who's this? Hi? My name is Kayla. I'm feeling three
and what's im I I question for? So, well, how
do you feel about as I saying that you can't
wear some type of dress, like, God, i's her boyfriends
that he can't wear some type of grass or some

(11:10):
kind of outfit because he doesn't like you in it,
but he likes searchers of girls on Instagram in the
same outfit. Well, first of all, he can't tell you
what you can and can't wear it. That's completely up
to you. So let's get that straight first and foremost.
And that's a silly reason. Now, he could not like
something that you wear and he can't express himself in

(11:30):
that way, but he can't tell you you can't wear it.
So now it's up to you how you react to that.
Do you say, Okay, I'm going to do what I
want to do and make this stand that I'm going
to take so you don't try this in the future,
or do you say, okay, let me listen to what
he's saying and see if there's a valid reason that
he feels that way, and then we can discuss it.
It's up to you, Okay, Well, what if it's like,

(11:52):
all right, he doesn't like it because he doesn't want
other Like, what if you wear it while you're with him,
Like it's to a dress with a slit in it?
He doesn't like the splitt I mean with him going out,
there's nothing he could really do about it. It's not
really on him. He should think that you're his girl
and you're you know, you know how to dress and
you look cute. I don't think that he can tell

(12:14):
you what to wear and what not to wear. That's all.
What's he gonna do? Take you home and say we're
not going out anymore. Do you ever tell him how
to dress? Oh? No, not really. It's just like, I
don't know, it's really weird to me. We had this
such on like the other day because I wanted to
wear a dress and he was like, I don't want
anybody else continuing it. So we'll tell him to boue

(12:35):
you wait girls and short shorts. And I'm like, is
that because of me? Were like, what, Well, tell him
to boue you some clothes that he likes. Then have
a go on, mama, get it off your chest? Eight
on drink five eight five one oh five one. If
you need to vent, hit us up now. It's the
Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club. Wake up, wake up,

(12:59):
wake y'all. A you're trying to get it off your chest.
We want to hear from you on the records. Well,
hey boy, should get it off your chests, So I
want to hear it out my chest of in me.
You were hating on Friday when he was talking about
Megaton to give me Nagi's song, like you was hating

(13:23):
because he was like, I'm gonna play You're gonna play
it in the mixting you like now I play Flashback
And so I hadn't listened to the song yet, so
I was like, dang it, is it not a good song?
So then I go and listen to the song and
it was a really good song. And y'all do not
play her music. And I just don't understand, Like I'm
a fan of both Party and Nikki, I don't and

(13:44):
why y'all try to promote their and the problems with them.
I love both of them. I don't get it, but
like Nikki is fire and she has been put up
to the music I feel like, and y'all just won't
play it. And it's really I don't. I don't compared
to two. I just said Friday, we flashed back on Friday.
We throw throwbacks on Friday. That's not a throwback joint.

(14:05):
But if you want to hear it, yes, if you
want to heard this morning I played for you this morning.
You want to hear this morning's MEGATRONA this morning, I
got megatrona hit. I think Megaton is a here. I
like Megaton, okay, but I liked the tween album. I mean,
I think she could have let some like that had
it been songs on tween album Stack a solid album.
Miami is a fire record, hard White is a fire record.

(14:28):
To see about me as a fire record, y'all didn't
play none of those songs. I would say Megaton is
a fun summer song. I'll play for you this morning, right, okay,
thank you please? Hating on Nikki? Nobody everybody hating on Nikki.
Y'all hating on her yesterday too, y'all was like, we
just want her to be happy. I felt that shade
come out, y'all. Y'all, yo, yo, yo, yo, y'all, y'all listen,

(14:49):
I'm tired of people acting like what they feel is
what we feel. I really genuinely want Nikki to be happy.
How would that shade? How would we want her to
be Howard saying we want somebody to be happy? Shade
in any way? Shape or for him, especially because y'all
were trying to imply that she was not happy. No,
we're trying to imply that she just got a marriage
license and she's going to get married, and we hope

(15:11):
that she's happy and we want her to be happy.
That's like nik one radio man, I didn't want have
a blessed day, happy shade, we want you to be
happy too. This is what's wrong with people. People. People
happy project what they feel onto other people. Like literally,

(15:33):
how can you get on the radio and say you
genuinely want somebody to be happy in regard to their
upcoming marriage and somebody shade, good, thank you, marriage license.
We just want to be happy. Whatever makes it happy.
That's crazy to me. Like, people got problems today want
us to hate Nikki so bad so in their mind,
Charlot Mane the god in Dja envy hate Nicki Minaj.

(15:54):
So I can say I love you Nikki and they'll
be like, look at the scastic that's being shar castic.
It's crazy. God, bless you, Lava, good morning, good morning, Okay,
I guess you. Oh, I'm sorry, ladybug, it said Lava,
But okay, Ladybuck, No, I don't know who it is.
A ladybug. Hey, good morning everyone. Hey lady Buck, Hey,
lady Buck, I just want to press a positivity. Is

(16:17):
everyone listening. I know you're six feet above the dirt,
so you have no reason to have a frown on
your face. There you go the shade, go out on
that Tuesday and make it the best Tuesday and they
feel like a Monday to some people. You being shady, Tuday.
Stop with the shade. She's being positive. Stopping, stop with
the shade. She don't know what you're talking about. Thank you,

(16:38):
lady Buck. We appreciate you. Let's have a great Tuesday,
but we want you to be happy. Yeah, if we
just want the best for your Lady Buck, I'm alive,
I'm happy. We love you, Lady Buck. All right, get
it off your chest. Eight hundred and five A five,
one on five one. If you need to think, you
can hit this up at any time. You got rooms
on the way. Man. We got to reach out to
Tierra Maria again. She's been having some very unfortunate situations

(16:59):
recently and will tell you what happened that led to
her getting arrested and what they found in the car. Lord,
have mercy. I ain't gonnavee. When I heard what she
was drinking, I said, yes, she broke, stopped, stopped. She
wasn't rehabbing everything, so we got to talk about going
through having no rehab. Nobody should be drinking when she
was drinking unless you just hate your life. Getting off
your chest. Rumors on the way. It's the Breakfast Lugal Morning,

(17:21):
the Breakfast Club Morning. Everybody is dj mv Angela Yee, Charlomagne,
the guy. We are to Breakfast Club. Let's get to
these rumors. Let's talk Tiara Marie, it's about the rumor report.
Angela Yee found the Breakfast Club Well, Tierra Marie has

(17:46):
gotten pulled over for allegedly driving drunk. Now they are
saying what was found in the car. She was actually
in New York. She was going through the Queen's Midtown
Tunnel at a high rate of speed. They said that
she was missing at tire too, so they were sparks flying.
How long she missing this tire for? We don't know.
She was missing her right front tire as she was driving,
and she told the cops that she had three glasses

(18:07):
of Pino griggio. But in the car they did find
for a local as well as a bottle of kettle
one that was unsealed. Wasn't for local band for a
little bit or something like that? Yes, yeah, in most
places it is band. I've never felt worse with tierm
Read and I have when I heard this story. I
have the utmost empathy for anyone drinking for a local,
because it's like you just gave up on this thing

(18:29):
called life. She blew more than three times the legal
limit when she took a breath of Liza, and you know,
she was in a rehab and recently she was on
my podcast and she wasn't drinking at all. She said
she knows that she can't have any drinks. If she
has just one, then things can spiral for her. So
clearly still having some issues. So there's nothing I remembe.
We are praying that things get better. There's nothing mentally

(18:52):
or physically healthy about drinking for a local. There's driving
under the influence, and then there's driving under the influence
of satan, and that's what you are doing when you're
drinking for a local. Three tires and four locals is
a terrible combination, all right. Bushwick Bill's family has launched
a go FUNDI campaign. They're hoping to raise one hundred
thousand dollars. We told you before he died from stage
four pancreatic cancer that happened on June tenth. You know

(19:13):
him from the legendary Ghetto Boys group, And now they
are hoping that the fans will go ahead and donate
some money to the go Fundie. That's to help take
care of the family's expenses and carry out his final
wish that his four kids are financially taken care of.
So they do have an official fund that has been
established and all they wanted one hundred thousand. That's what

(19:33):
the family hopes to raise. What are the expenses like
the funeral expensive if that, it's also to make sure
the kids are taken care of. Like I said, So
they're hoping people one hundred thousand dollars. You show you're
reading that number correctly. Positive. One hundred thousand dollars gonna
take care of four kids and expenses, maybe to pay
for their school. Maybe they got a couple of years

(19:54):
left in school. Just to pay for medical bills. Alan
might be one hundred thousand dollars. Bro, Maybe I have
medical coverage. Maybe Felton Shore. All right, Travis Scott, he
has something that's being released and that is going to
be some custom cereal boxes. He did a collaboration with
General Mills to redesign the Reeses Puffs cereal box with

(20:15):
Cactus Jack and so you can get those online. I
believe they said it's extremely limited. So if you're big
Travis Scott fan and you want to get these cereal boxes,
they retail for fifty dollars. That's smart. Yeah, So I'm
sure that once you try to resell that it's going
to be worth a whole lot more. Would be I
would be a great marketing tool for the Breakfast Club,
being that we are a breakfast club. But you know what,
cereals not really a breakfast. Cereals more of a snack.

(20:37):
Cereals breakfast to eat cereal for breakfast. A lot of
people do. Now you sureland afternoon and at night when
you're high, eat in the morning too. It's a quick
it's a quick meal to have cereals a snack. All right,
Nas and Mary's a Blige have added some new dates
to their tour that they're co headlining together. That's the
Royalty Tour. So now their scheduled to perform in addition
to the dates they already announced in Brooklyn, Baltimore, Nework,

(20:59):
and Indianapolis. So those tickets do go on sale on
June twenty eighth at ten am, So make sure you
guys go to live nation dot com where you can
get those tickets. And it should be a pretty fun
tour to go to. I'm definitely going to that. I
was listening in the nod and Mary this morning because
I like My Life Too. My Life Too is a
very slept on the album, but they got to join
on My Life Too called Feel Inside that has the

(21:21):
sample of Utang's Triumph that I think is a very
tough tool. One of my favorite Mary joints is love
is All We Need Mary. Now, okay, that's one of
my favorite all right. Mary also has her collab with Mac.
I'm actually wearing her lipstick today, so shout out to
Mary J. Blige in to Mac lipstick. It's called love
Me Lipstick, So it's a beautiful color. You get to
color that she's always wears. I see a lot of
people screaming My Life Too. I was going title and

(21:43):
I saw My Life then jumped up into like one
of the most scream songs and Mary's Mary's Playlists. I
guess great record man. All right, now let's talk about
some more collaboration. Supreme is going to be doing a
collab with booge Bontan, so you should be excited about
that's gonna be colorful and Supreme. They have not yet

(22:03):
announced what the brand is going to do with him.
A lot of times they do stuff where they have
somebody's face a portrait on T shirts, so we don't
know exactly what the collab match of it is, but
they Yeah, so that'd be a nice collab. I'm gonna
definitely try to make show. I pick that up Supreme
and Booze Supreme and Booze Jamaican the Supreme. I can't
wait to see how loud and MATCHI MATCHI that would be.

(22:25):
And a Rod. He was a frequent guest on Shark Tink.
I know you've never watched Shark Tink, but he was
a frequent celebrity guest on Shark Tink. And now he's
not going to be on there anymore because he signed
a deal to start and his own show that they
said is very similar to Shark Tink, So they're not
very excited about that. According to reports with the Shark
Tink producers, they are saying he won't be back now,

(22:46):
even though he was really popular on that show. You know,
he was on that show and he got along sell
well with Barbara corkerin who's the real estate grew she owns,
you know Corker in real estate that they actually teamed
up to buy an East Village rental building as part
of a plan to build a huge property portfolio together.
So he really was doing a lot of things after
being on Shark Tink as a special guest. But when
you try to launch a show, I guess that's very similar.

(23:09):
It's not gonna go over to what I think A
Rod's gonna do well well with that show. Shal Tink
has been on for a long time. I think they
need to change the characters up a little bit, right, Well,
he was a frequent like celebrity guest. Yeah, I know,
I'll watch it. Yeah, So it's a great show to
watch if you ever want to launch your own business,
to learn how to actually pitch your business and the yeah,
business proposals a certain amount of time and numbers are necessary.

(23:30):
And absolutely I watched that with my son. I mean
the fact that he got you got a whole housing
complex or apartment complex out of what you just said.
Well he didn't get it out of it, but he
became friends with Barbara Corkran, the one. Yeah, they've teamed
up to buy some real estate together, to buy and renovate.
A salute to Shaquill O'Neil, Quilnels opening Shock Towers in NewYork,
New Jersey that should be opening this month, or Queen
Latif was building multi family homes in New York. I

(23:51):
love to see people. I went to Shack's restaurant in
in La before Shacks got houses. He got stuff in Atlanta,
he got stuff in Atlantic City, he got stuff for
new got like a twenty two story apartment complex going
up and new it called shock Towers. Know what kind
of inspiration young black kid's gonna have walking through New
York tea and Shock Towers And you know he's from there.
So it's it's small. Shack is doing a lot with

(24:14):
dropping the Clues Box, which kill O'Neil. You can't hit
me back about that, chrispy Kreme, but it's like, I
still respect you move all right, Well, I'm a la yee.
And that's your rumor report. All right, thank you, miss ye.
Now front page news next we're talking about, Yes, we
are going to talk about and I know you're gonna
talk about the NBA and we'll talk about the MVP
that you were discussing. All right, we'll get into that next.

(24:34):
Keep it locked. Just to Breakfast Club. Good morning morning everybody.
Angela Yee, Charlemagne the guy. We are to Breakfast Club.
Let's get in some front page news. That last night
was the NBA Awards now that the most Valuable Player
went to the Greek Freak and he had a speech
last night. Let's play. I want to think my dad. Obviously,

(24:55):
you know my dad's not ship with me, but U
two years ago, Um, you know I had to go
in my head that I'm going I'm gonna be the
best player in the league. Yeah, I'm gonna do whatever
it thinks. Still my team win and I'm going in
and everything every day that I step on the floor,
I was thinking about my dad and I'm motivisman. They

(25:16):
pushed me through, you know, play harder. Not mad at
that dropping a clues bonds for the Greek Freaks to Milwaukee.
But I do wish they didn't give that award out
until the very end of the season, and they took
in the whole totality of what a player did throughout
the regular season, the playoffs, and the finals. You don't
think the Greek Freak was the MVP for the whole season.
I'll just say that when Kawality actually won the championship, bro,

(25:38):
you know, because Kawality was very valuable to Toronto all right,
playing the regular season, the playoffs, and definitely in the finals.
He won the finals MVP and they beat Milwaukee, So
you know, it's tough man, all right. What else are
you talking about? You Well, imagine you get into an
uber that's not your Uber and you don't even know
if it's an Uber or not, and then they start
driving the wrong way down a deserted dirt road. This

(25:59):
is what happ in to two women and Hilton Head,
South Carolina. They called the Uber. They knew the man
wasn't their Uber driver, but they thought they saw an
Uber sign, so they got in the car anyway, and
he started going the wrong way and then going down
an unfamiliar dirt road. That's when one of the women
said she was calling nine one one, he grabbed her
phone from her, they got out of the suv and

(26:20):
she managed to grab her phone back and call nine
one one, and he's sped off. So please have not
located or identified the driver. They don't even know if
he was really an Uber driver or not. I love
Hilton Head, South Carolina. Okay, but how many signs do
you need? All? Right? First of all, when you call
the Uber, it says checked the lights plate to make
sure you're getting in the right car. And both of
those people said that they didn't think it was their
Uber driver, Which did you need to look at your

(26:41):
Uber and see driver Freddie Krueger and to be a
hearse like a scary movie. That's what they sound. And
they also know your name, so usually, and I know,
I think this is required, they have to say hey, Angela,
and then that's when you get in. I don't understand
why you would get into a uber if you did
not think it was your Uber. And these women were
actually staying there on vacations, they were going I don't know,
they didn't identify. Definitely sounds very white, but that's how

(27:06):
all scary movies start. Does you know Freddy Krueger pulls
up in the herd, seems like, hey, this looks strange, Jane.
I think it might be ours, but Janda looks, all right,
let's go. They're very fortunate that it didn't turn out
worse than it did. All right. Now, our recent Emory
University study shows who has the best fans in the
NFL Dallas Cowboys, Baby the Eagles. I guess that proved

(27:31):
that Dallas, it is dropping a clues bombs. Who's more delusion?
No than nothing trumped God damson. Who's delusion in the NFL?
A delusion? Following the Cowboys are the New England Patriots, Yes,
then the Eagles, then the Giants, then the Pittsburgh Steelers,
and then the Green Bay Packers. So the way they
did this study, it was three different criteria, fan equity,

(27:53):
social equity, and a road equity. So they look at
home box office revenues, how much people support also cowboy fans,
how many people engage on social media as part of
the team's community because cowboy fans sucks and they go
back everybody everybody who named is one super Bowls in
recent times, but we're gonna win next year. But you know,
it was the whole lifestyle of the cowboys. You know
what I'm saying. That was the cocaine playboy era. You know,

(28:14):
it's the era my daddy came up in big affrow, cocaine, playboy,
you know. All right, cowboys represented all of that. All right,
that's it, Yes, that's it. Okay, all right, Well I
remember when jay Z was here and he explained that
too got do but I was done a cowboy fami. Okay, yeah,
it's so true. It's playboy here, all right. What's Michael ever?

(28:34):
So much cocaine? You know what I'm saying, fly guy, playboy.
All right. Now, when we come back from the Golden
State Warriors, Andre Iguodala will be joining us with you
said he have you have the trophy with him? They've
been didn't win, Oh they didn't. When I'm sorry, sorry, sorry,
Danny Green came with the trophy about Danny Green, wasn't

(28:59):
here you back at the interview, big mistakes? Sorry Toronto, Yes, please,
all right, we'll be backast the Breakfast Club. Good morning,
the Breakfast Club. Morning. Everybody is DJ mvy Angela Yee,
Charlemagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club. We got
a special guest in the building, Yes, sir, andre Iguadala,

(29:20):
Welcome back, sir. It's good to be back. Man. You
should be somewhere relaxing after that long ass season, but
you out here promoting your new book, first book, first one,
first six six Many Memoir Wyre now, man, I think
it was just good timing, especially with the run we've
been on. We were kind of the poster childs of
the league as far as you know, people really loving
us and what we did for the game and then

(29:41):
being on the oppositide of that and it hate you
for having too much success. So um, just for me,
it was more therapeutic. And I had a lot of
young kids, young guys in the league asked me for advice,
and it's kind of surprising, you know, you get people
that look up to you, but you're still playing. It's
still you're still competing against some so um, all those things. Uh,

(30:02):
I feel like it's kind of a way to get
back to because it's a new age athlete coming up,
especially for the black athlete. You know, we're being exploited
more than ever. Ncublea au and kind of how I
navigated through the whole thing, it's kind of like there's
no navigational tools for guys to kind of, you know,
get to the league. They're they're kind of being pimped
throughout the whole process from you know, age a labman

(30:24):
when they're pen Let's talk about the navigation part. You
were saying, you know, we get exploited a lot, you know,
and a lot of us have sons and daughters that
want to play basketball and it's a tough process. So
what do you suggest that people do, you know, because
the only thing we know is AAU and the high
schooling to the college, and is we never get anything. Well,
I've had many conversations and my son plays ball. M

(30:46):
It's funny he's at Duke camp right now, you know.
And he grew up different than idea. He grew up
different than we did and real privilege, right. And the
one thing I give to the kids and the parents
that grew up similar to the way we did, is
you gotta do it fun, you gotta do it because
you love it. And I always say, these kids nowadays
are living their parents' dreams and that's what always derails

(31:09):
them or no matter where they get either, if they
don't make it, the parents derail them. Another reason why
they didn't make it or when they do make it.
Parents are the reason why they're having mental issues, or
they're spending all the money, or they're going broke, or
they're having all the family problems is because you know,
they did it for all the wrong reasons. So for me,
it's like listen, just the kid's gonna make it or

(31:30):
not make it, regardless, Like you have nothing to do
with that, Like you can't support them as a parent,
and that's going to help them mentally. But you know,
there's a lot of things that we can do differently,
and exploiting the kids that's the worst reason to get
them into the sport. So creating our own spaces. We
talk about that a lot. And I even look at
colleges and I look at you know, just imagine if
we had one star leave an HBCU forty million dollars.

(31:53):
Slaves spoke about that in that book. What if the
five five all went to a historically black university or
college instead of going to Michigan and that changed the
course of history. You know, they did it with black
socks and black nikes. They could have changed the course
of history. And I was just talking to one of
the interns. She was talking about you was talking about, Say,
I wish I would have took a visit to Howard Well.
Black people, we have a tendency to think white ice

(32:15):
is cold, right, But that's just the way we see it.
Like we grow up, you know, growing up out saw
Michael Jordan the Fast five. I was like they were
like gods to me. So it was like, you think,
that's the only way that you can go to make it.
And David West, close teammate of mind, He's trying to
change the trajectory or the course of what we can do.
He's got the he got a league where instead of

(32:36):
going to college through the NC DOUBLEA, you can go
through this league where they give financial services as far
as financial education. You can actually make money off your likeness.
It's just a different avenue. They give you a percentage
of your jersey right right, right right, but they're teaching
you all these tools as well. Because that's one thing
I talk about in the book is we all were
exported in an NC DOUBLEA, especially if you went to

(32:57):
a big school. I went to the University of Arizona,
and I remember seeing the report the larger schools in
terms of revenue basketball team parts to the school. We
were number two. And the reason why this the athletic
department ran was because of the basketball team. And then
it was funny. I would go to practice and then
the volleyball coach would be like, coach, you know, you
guys got called blanche on the practice time. I know
who pays the bills around here. But I would go

(33:18):
a week when I had like ten dollars and I
had to make ten dollars last food for that week.
It was like, and you an athlete. My jersey was
in the store, like number twenty four was in the store.
I would think it would feed y'all, just to keep
y'all healthy. Where they change the rules now where they
getting limited food? When I was there, you only got
food on game days or you got food sometimes at
the practice whatever. But other than that, you know, he

(33:39):
was on and then but you got the head of
the double A. You know, you can look at this
salary right now. He's a millionaire, you know. So it's
just it's just a system in how it's been so far. Yeah,
and the book you talk about the racial tension that
exists in the NBA. I would never think that there's
any racial tension in the NBA, Like, where does the
majority of that tension come from? Well, I think the
NBA is very forward thinking, one of the every years
ranked the most tech for sports league in the world.

(34:03):
And then the NBA is one of a marketing powerhouse.
You know, they always know how to market the right things,
and if there are any issues or there might be
a controversy, they're really good at trying to stay ahead
of it and uh not cover it up because I
think David not David Stern, but Adam Silver does a
good job of trying to have the dialect or dialogue
with the players. I could text them right now here

(34:24):
text me back, but it's still weak. The places we
come from are a lot different than our arena fan base,
and you can go look at the Ghost State Warriors.
When I first got there, we were kind of up
and coming, and I always say we priced our real
fans out. But but now you look at it, Who's
who's our fan basis Silicon Valley, which is the richest

(34:45):
community in the world. And you saw it in the finals.
Kyle Lowry goes into the stands. Yeah, the guy grabs
them and you read his lips, get out of here,
you like, and then I don't see what happened with
Kyle because I know Kyle from when I was in Philly,
he was at Villanova, and uh, he's going crazy. So
that's what community say, racial tension. You just like who

(35:07):
just felt privileged, like he could just do it, like
the dude was worth two point four billion. Yeah, I'm
pretty sure if the guy looked at Kyle was a
different color, he wouldn't, like you can kind of tell
was he wasn't in his right state. But at the
same time, that's him reacting naturally, like like that was
kind of crazy. It was whacked that he was only
bad for a year two Now, well, it's more it's

(35:27):
more to it, like as far as uh, it's interest
that he vested in the team, Like, oh, that's going
to be going too. But these crazy valuations. Uh, the
price of a ticket to the games are crazy. The
average price of a finalist game in Toronto was like
five thousand. That's crazy. So who's able to come to
the games? Yeah, I get what you're saying. Yeah, so
it's all of you got all of these kids, especially

(35:48):
probably in the hood, who really loved basketball, who can't
even come watched their favorite team of players. Flay. Now,
I wouldn't say that's a racial tension, but that's who
we're performing in front of. But at the same time,
you know there's that two sides gifting the curse. You know,
our salaries are the reason why we can make so
much money is because you know, ticket sales or the
people that spend money on the crazy suits, Like we

(36:09):
have a new arena growing up and then they've sold
already two billion dollars in ticket sales for that arena.
Arenas not even open yet. No people are saying that
the Warriors are over, that the dynasty is over, right,
what do you think you got two men? Dawn? Maybe
next year Clay would be back soon. Katie would be
back to form if he signs. But he'll be back
to form, okay, but um, hopefully he'll be back. He

(36:33):
might be out all next year. But we saw what
we did in the finals, you know, we just right
there and we were like, really, we had three guys
break something and we still had an opportunity we want
possession away from pushing it to a game seven. So
we'll be fine. Um, big free agency this summer, so
we'll be at all right, we have more with andre
Iguadalla from the Golden State Warriors when we come back.
Don't move. It's to Breakfast Club. Good morning, cj Envy

(36:56):
Angela Yee. Charlemagne, the guy we are the Breakfast Club
was still kicking it with andre Iguadalla from the Golden
State Warriors. Charlemagne. Did the Warriors organization take any blame
for having the Katie or should they? Because you're talking
the book about you know, we're sacrificing in your body
so for these organizations. So that's a really good question.
I don't think his injury was the reason before the
other of the other injury because the way the body

(37:18):
set up, the calf should have went out first before
the Achilles. So that was like an active guy like
the Achilles was just gonna go out, don't matter if
he was injured before that or not. But I talk
about in the book, you know, what's your body worth?
You know? All I hear is play one of year
longer than you can. But at the same time, it's
like y'all want to have a certain lifestyle, want them
downe playing. You know, them knees go quick, so you don't.
You don't think the Warriors had any responsibility with maybe

(37:41):
pushing Katie out there too soon. That's a tough part too,
you think about it. We have a really good training staff,
you know. I'll give credit where credits due. Our training
staff was one of the best in the world, and
I feel like they got them back. The tough thing
is when you're an athlete and you're hurt, everybody's looking
at you sideway, and then being his teammate is harder
because everyone's feeding stuff in our head when Katie coming back,

(38:02):
When Katie coming back, in the fact that it's the finals,
I'm saying last year happened to me. I missed last
three games of the Houston series. It goes to Game seven,
We barely get out of that series. And now they
looking at me like when you're coming back and I
had had a fracture leg, but it's being put out
there like he got a bone bruise. But so I'm
fighting with the team, I'm fighting with people, I'm fighting
with the media. And then my teammates asked me every day,

(38:24):
how are you feeling, how are you feeling? So with
Kay he getting from everywhere too, like how are you feeling,
how are you feeling not just from the team, but
from family or from you know, people close to him.
You know, this is our moment, this our stage. You know,
this don't last forever. And what they'd always say in sports.
So he was tough guy, He played through injuries. You know,
you're you're validated as an athlete if you win a championship,

(38:44):
or how tough you wore you know, if you sit out.
I was like, oh, he's not tough like you think
about the history of sports is all about people's perception
of you, and they want they want to get their
gratification through you for themselves, and that's just the way
of sports. You know. Um now, of y'all fought a
little bit too, though it's true a little bit, I agree,
But at the same time, as we're taught to maximize

(39:07):
our value where it used to be I many games
skinn guy to play. He played eighty two games. That
means he's tough. The guy only plays seventy games, sixty games.
It's like, I don't know about him, man, he can't.
He's always hurt, you know. And then now when when
a superstar player goes down, what's that that's money. Now
everyone's talking about Oh man, I guess it was smart
to have low management. But the issue is the NBA

(39:27):
sets our schedule up, especially the Warriors, where they don't
they don't want us to miss games on the road
because we're the money team on the road. Correct. So
the message was sent, all right, don't rest guys on
the road. Sometimes I gotta be whacking and not. You know,
it's still an NBA, but sometimes you're playing trash ass teams.
You knew you're gonna blow them out. So there's no
way you could just say, you know what, I'm just
gonna rest these stall players today because we don't necessarily

(39:49):
need them. Well, now, you got feedback from fans, right
because of social media. Right, So we used to get
so many emails, so much information from our fans and
be like, we have people with signs like I drove
South Africa and Steph Curry and play tonight and I
paid ten thousand for some seats, Like this isn't right.
I do understand that side though, right. So what I'm saying,

(40:09):
if you got a company, then you have these high
expectations and they don't come through, you can force your
opinion so we've gotten that more than any other team.
You said, people hate on Steps so much? Why do
you think they hate on Steps so much? Because he
lights skinned and he's like, he's like the perfect dude,
So they can't find any flaws. You see that a
lot people who you can't find a flaw in you
hate that, and but you know, I see, you know,

(40:30):
I see it. The most that hate on Steff is
across the league other players. Really that's crazy, Not so
much the younger players, but some of the older players
that he came in and just took their shine or
they hated. How much impact on social media have on players?
You talk about that in the book, but how much
does it really have on players more than it should?
Like it's normal now to go in the locker room

(40:51):
and everybody first need to do people grady phones. I'd
be like, oh my god, Like at halftime, halftime, it's
like normal. Now you seem dude that brought his phone
there out to the game, right, Well, it's normal. Drab
your phone and I'm looking dudes checking Instagram see what
people saying about their performance. Check that's crazy. He played
in the Mark Jackson four year right that whatever happened
to more because he put that team together, it seems like,

(41:12):
and then nobody ever gave him a chance again, which
seems weird. We were just talking about that about that
this morning, and like we were huge fans of market players.
He was ultimate players coach that that was. I mean,
he pretty much put that team together, Like that's that's
what we first started hearing about the Warriors, and then
it was like he got let go with the norm
a team, gave a shot and I'll talk about it
in the book as far as he was like one

(41:33):
of my favorite coaches of all time. It was like,
come in, compete, play hard. But I feel like this
the politics of it, man. And when you say politics,
what do you mean? I know they used to be
upset because he was too religious. They said, did he
made y'all go to church? That was a rumor that
he didn't make us go to the church, like he
offered it to us. And we all went as a
team because we got a team bunch of believers, so
we went to church like we were going to church regardless.

(41:55):
But it was the politics. And then you know how
it is when once they want you out, they can
find something and then you know, one particular issue was
from what I heard, was his views on ginger or
marriage or what the Bible said on your sexuality and
our head of our business who he just went in

(42:16):
the Hall of fame. He was, he was the brains
behind All Star Weekend. Like this dude he created the
All Star Weekend brick Wells like genius business and he's gay.
So there was conflicts with that. That was widespread. Everyone
was talking about that, and it's interesting. Someone mentioned it
to me. He was like, when people can express themselves,
but are you allowed to express yourself that you don't

(42:38):
agree with it, you should accept it because we should
accept each other. But it's like we're afraid to really
say our beliefs now, Like you may not believe in something,
but you know you still embrace that, or you have
respect for them, or it's as long as you don't
disrespect them or judge them. Correct. It was that on
top of you know, he might have issues with ownership.
That was a crazy part, like he didn't have a
group relationship with the ownership and that's not gonna work.

(43:01):
That ain't gonna never work. But no other team picked
him up. Think about it, Not one other team. Well,
it just shows Freezy. It's just shows our in line,
the ownership group. Is they all together? They care about
one thing money at bottom line. You think Mark Jackson's
black Ball from the NBA. I do, yes, really, yes, absolutely,
all right, we have more with andre Iguadoala when we

(43:22):
come back. Don't move. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning,
yes morning. Everybody is DJ Envy Angela yee. Charlomagne, the
guy we are the Breakfast Club was still kicking it
with andre Iguadolla from the Golden State Warriors. Charlomagne, how
do you stay mentally healthy? Because you talk about your
battle with insomnia in the book, and I know you're
the vice president of the National Basketball Players So yeah,
y'all put an emphasis on mental health. So how y'all

(43:44):
gonna keep players mentally healthy? And how do you keep
yourself mentally other? So for me, it's just, uh, I
read a lot. I want to tell you. STEP's a
big fan of the book. He listened to your audiobook.
Oh wow. Yeah, he's a huge fan of it, which
is weird. I didn't think he would. But anyway, because
I'm so such a heathen, y'all so different. Yeah, because
he don't so different. I was like, step you listen

(44:06):
to that. He was like, yeah, man, that Joe was amazing.
You read it right? You read your audio man? Yeah,
he was talking about that. He was like, it's better
to read your audio book. You can you get It's
better for the story. I didn't get a chance to
I did the introduction of my audiobook, but I didn't
get a chance to read. We didn't have time. With
the finals and youn get nominated for a Grammar if
you can about that kind of right, yeah, okay. But
with the mental health this um for me, it was reading.

(44:27):
So I had it insomnia problem through college just from stress.
Like I had agents I talk about in the book,
I had agent telling me like agent saw me after
the game, was like I want to talk to you.
I'm like for what I want to represent you. I'm
like for what he was like the NBA. I'm like,
I'm going to NBA. Like I didn't know because I
was in college. What I'm hearing every day is you

(44:47):
got to get better. You're not good enough yet, you
gotta get better. And what I found out was a
coach was trying to hold me back mentally. So I
can stay longer. I stay longer. We obviously gonna be
a much better team. You got NBA players laying on
your team, You're gonna be better. But I didn't know that.
So then I was fighting between I'm like people approaching
me about the NBA, Like I never thought I would
go to the NBA, especially this fast. So I wasn't sleeping,

(45:10):
like four or five o'clock in the morning. I'm just
up with the anxiety. He said. It was insaldy in
the book, but it had to be some sort of anxiety.
It's both right, but you don't know that. You just
know you up. I can't sleep. But that stuck with
me until my whole career, Like it stuck with me
until I got to the Bay, and I finally was like,
you know what, I know, I got this issue, and
that's a big problem in our community. We're scared to
talk to somebody about anything. So I saw a sleep

(45:32):
therapist and I basically did a study on the human
body and how you need to sleep. Sleep is like
the most important thing of course, absolutely. Me finding out
that I had insomniad changed like my whole life as
far as lifestyle and eating and all that. Stuff, and
then that turned into yoga and then from there I
started meditating, and like once you find one thing, it

(45:53):
kind of a trickle down effect where you get everything
else's on line. But the hardest part is getting guys
to embrace it or to even do it. Like we
did a team exercise where we did yoga, and the
players when they first got there like, man, I'm not
doing a yoga that's stupid. But when they start doing it,
like yo, that was that was like leaving like that
was that was dope. Then you just got to hold
yourself accountable and they want to do it. So for us,

(46:14):
I think we do things. We got to find a
way to make things cool and in order for us
to do it, so you know, we're working on it.
And that's another thing I struggle with is sometimes like
a corporation will have a philanthropic and endeavor, but it's
not true. It's all for publicity. So I'm a big
fan of Adam silver is our commissioner, and we all
talk about mental health, but it's like I don't want

(46:36):
to just talk about it, like I really want to
tackle it and get every player to get some type
of help in any type of way because we all
need it, especially the ones that come from our backgrounds.
And you know, guys who's all the money, it's not
because they made poor decisions. It was just the people
around them. And the mental health plays a large part
in them losing all their money. I think that's not
known as well too. You always say that, you know,

(46:57):
coming from a lot of our environments, we just don't
learn certain things. Our parents worked thirty forty years of
their life and they sit back and retire. They don't
know about invested, They don't know about anything, you know.
So for us is just we don't have the knowledge
a lot of times, and we're afraid to admit what
we don't know. Here we think we're gonna get taken
advantage of if we admit we don't know. That's true, right.
You know what's interesting about the mental health aspect of it, Right,
Because the reason I meditate this because I'm always looking

(47:19):
for stillness. I feel like NBA players would would be
the best at that because y'all got to block out
all the board. When y'all on the court, y'all gotta
block out the crowd when y're shooting free throws, you
gotta block out the crut, like y'all just gotta be
focused in that moment. I would think it would be
easy for y'all to get focused in meditation or the opposite,
where our only pieces when we're on the court. Wow,

(47:39):
you know what I mean, that's the only piece you get.
Like the family is a tricky thing, man, Like, that's
the majority of the downfalls, especially when you got money,
when you're the only person in your family that's a millionaire, right,
and talking to the white players like I think I've
Kyle Cover had a big article about it, and he
was like, you know, y'all, you guys an understand what

(47:59):
these guys going through. We were teammates. I remember he
and I were in a meeting team. We're talking about finances,
like one of those mandatory meetings, and I was like,
you know, I take care of my mom, my brother, cousin, uncle, grandma,
my grandma house, blah blah blah. He was like, you
pay your parents bills? Why would you do that? Really,
because that's not saying that's not then the culture. So

(48:21):
there was like he was like, why would you pay
your mom's bill? And I was like, you don't pay
He was like, no, why would I do that? Like
he was like, what do you mean? Like he was
so lost to it. But we're looking at him like
you don't help your mom out, you know, so when
we are on the court, that's a lot of guys peace.
I just with the Aisha Curry stuff because that came
out during the finals about I guess she did the
Red Table Talk interview and she was like she wants

(48:42):
to feel special and everybody was hey, big head, and
they was posting pictures of Drake and her and hardening
her and big How did he deal with that? I
don't see too many things like rattle him, like this
is like the epitome of a perfect person. But he
grew up in the NBA too, He grew up in
the environment, so he's seen it before. Like he understanding,
Like his mom's like a public figure as well. His

(49:03):
mom and his dad were together. They were kind of
known as like the perfect couple or whatever. So he's
seen everything, so I feel like he knows how to
navigate it. I mean, obviously, you know, he's like any
other married couple. They probably go through their stuff or absolutely,
but I don't know how he does it. To be
honest with you, especially all that fame he got. Yeah,
he's got to be dealing with his owner's health because
my last book is all about anxiety and going to therapy,

(49:23):
So why it had to be something that made him
read listen to that. Yeah, yeah, but I don't know.
I'm gonna ask him one day, like I don't know
how he does it, and also ask him to tell
him don't be afraid to post my book. You know
what I'm saying, tell him God, God will really bless
him for that. And I love the dedication in the book.
You said you said to the young fellas, stay black, too,
young fellas. So that's my son growing up. Every time

(49:45):
I left the house, like every day, I got that
same message from my mom, all right, stay black every day,
as if we have a choice, right, No, she was saying,
like stay black. Know who you are. You realize it,
like you going out to the world, Stay black, Like
don't change for nothing, embrace who you are. So I
had to always remind him, like, look, you go to school.
His school is very diverse, private school, but it's diverse,

(50:07):
but he's one of the few black boys. It's only
it's only a couple of like one hundreds and black boys.
It's like three or four that I know around his age,
And I'm like, man, you gotta be able to maneuver
when you get pulled over by the cops. You gotta
be able to maneuver when you're at school or no
matter where you're at, like especially in this neighborhood, you
gotta be careful. I mean he's like he's lighter, light complexant,

(50:28):
so it's not going to be as bad, but he
hasn't having awareness and I always try to get him to,
you know, understand that. But we appreciate you for joining us. Yeah,
pick up the book. Six men and Katie and Clay
coming back next year. Pretty sure? Pretty pretty sure? Kad two.
I think Katie's coming back. I hope he does. I
mean we wanted to come back prior to the injury.
Did you think he was leaving a going I didn't know.

(50:50):
But that's a hard part of two is like every
day we had to deal with that, like the whole
year you had to deal with it. Is Katie coming back.
It was like, man, like, man, I hope, so, yeah,
like what you want me to say, But at the
same time, was like, you know where they're smoked. There's
a fire. So it's like, well, who's putting out these reports?
Sometimes it fake, you don't know it was what you know,
it's the drama of the NBA. They going to the
Knicks though, that's what I heard. I don't know, man,

(51:10):
I personally think y'all gonna strike out. Yeah, I agree
with you, all right. It's Andrew Iguadolla. It's the Breakfast Club.
Good morning, okay, now, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm happy that
Sugar is playing a lot this morning. Yeah, but yesterday
little baby was playing a lot this morning. So is
somebody confused up here or the baby is actually supposed
to be playing as much as the playing supposed to

(51:31):
be playing? Okay, just making sure. I think the top
three record in the country, it was number one, was
the number one this week? I thought it was number
one like last week We Want City Girls number one,
Old Town Road? Which one Old Town Road? Number one
on the billboard one hundred. But Sugar was number one
on the rap charts. I remember I saw that. Anyway,
let's get to the room. Le's talk JT. She's filling

(51:54):
the tea. This is the Rumor Report with angela Ye
on the Breakfast club. Well, according to p from Quality Control,
the CEO, he's saying that JT from City Girls will
be home within the next ninety day, so that'd be
a big deal, he said, stay tuned on what they
had planned for when JT is finally free. That's good.
I don't know how much longer Young Miami could hold

(52:16):
it now on her own. It's about to have a
baby soon too, so and it's hard. Like you're part
of a group, you want the other person to be
home to share and everything with you. So I'm sure
she's excited. Was like that first City Girls project, they
dropped the first one, not the second one. All right, Yeah,
City Girls is the number two and shake his number one? Yep.
All right. Now, let's talk about keeping up with the Kardashians.

(52:37):
Everybody's been talking about this two part series that's gonna
be all about the drama that happened with Tristan Thompson,
Jordan Woods and Chloe Kardashian. Well, that's played on Sunday, right,
and so a couple of things that happened, and Tristan's
not excited about this at all. Apparently Chloe implied that
he was suicidal when she found out about his cheating.

(52:58):
I think you're definitely gonna have to have a conversation
on some obviously, Yeah, I'm gonna have a conversation with them.
But he's doing us to get a reaction out of me, like, oh,
so I'm just allowed to say I'm going to kill
myself and he's the one that messed up, not you, right,
So she was trying to say, with these text messages
that she had back and forth with him, basically he

(53:19):
was threatening to kill himself and it was serious enough
that she did ask one of his friends to do
a welfare check to make sure that he was fine,
even though she was upset at the time. Now, Tristan
on his behalf is saying that's not true at all.
When he's upset that on the show, they tried to
play it off like he was saying he was going
to kill himself. He said, saying that I don't want
to live without you is not the same thing as
saying that I'm going to kill myself. He didn't mean that.

(53:43):
So he's upset because a lot of people have been
reaching out to him, including NBA executives and family members,
because they're worried. That's why ya. Gotta be careful about
the little cliche sayings y'all be saying, just to say it,
I don't want to live without you, Well, what does
that mean? That means you want to die if you're
not with me, So technically, technically you are saying, hey,
you know what's funny about that. My son a long

(54:04):
time ago, I think when he was in sixth grade,
he got in trouble. He's like, my dad's gonna kill me,
and you know, the principal called me. It was like, yeah,
I have to have a conversation with you about it.
I'm like, well, he's like, my son, that's all fault.
The dad's gonna kill me. I'm like, I'm not gonna
kill her. But that's all fault as adults because we
say these cliche things and people take these things literally.
Can't just be saying words matter, bro. But now I
don't say nothing like that to the little kids, nothing

(54:25):
at all, the little kids. Not done to the babies.
I going the babies, nothing at all, the baby, the
baby no um now. Jordan Woods also has announced her
new clothing line after that episode aired, perfect timing for her.
She announced on Instagram that she has something exciting. She
has her Boohoo Times Jordan's Jordan Woods clothing line, so
people were excited for her that called boo Times. Well,

(54:47):
the people she's doing a collaboration with. It's called boohoo
Oh and it's a Jordan Woods clothing line, So hey, congratulations.
Doesn't boo hooo mean crying? Yeah, but it's just it's clothing.
You're crying, Yeah, I guess so if you want to
look at it like that. At the meantime, in the
midst of all this, lamar Odom made his Big Three
basketball debut as well. Over the weekend. Do you do

(55:08):
in Detroit? He killed, He scored up man, he scored
two points in the Oh he must not look too
good there. Well, he said, he's still trying to get
his groove back. Okay, so you know he's trying to
get back into the rhythm of things. So yes, all right,
I used to curry. Let's oh, you know, first I
talk about Charles Barkley. He still does not want Space

(55:31):
Jam two to be made, and he's been saying this
for quite some time. Well, he was at the twenty
nineteen NBA Awards on Monday night in LA and here's
what he had to say about space Jam two. Have
you warmed up to the idea at all? Not at all?
Tell me? Well, you know Ryan Coogler is attached to it. Now,
Well listen, I don't care. Well, space Jam's amazing. We
don't need to. Why do we care with Charles about

(55:52):
space Jam. I'm just curious. But he was in the
first one. He's only one of the greatest basketball players
of all of the kids have no idea who A
lot of the kid comment. A lot of the kids
have no idea what space Jam is outside of some sneakers.
All right, but it's new. It's it's new. Has the
younger players in there, they'll love it. They'll see it
different generations. Race Jam too has a lot to live
up too, though, because a lot came from Space Jam too. Yeah,

(56:12):
I believe I can fly from all Vie Jam Sneakers
calls how much right now? If you try to buy
they release him every year? Okay, well whatever, but I'm
saying it's been a long time, like those sneakers have
been released every year for the past twenty plus years.
All right. I used to Curry. She was on Easy
Daily Pop and she talks about sending naked pictures to
her husband's Steph Curry. Do you say you man a
spicy photo when he's on the road for two longs

(56:35):
hundreds of them that you're not scared of? Absolutely, and
he won't to let them off of his phone. And
he's not that like secure of this phone. So it's
it's actually one of the scariest things in my life.
But that's why I got Bella necked down. She's talking
about Bella Thorne, who recently had a new photo controversy,
and she's telling her to take those pictures from the

(56:55):
neck down? Why would you alert to hack us to that?
You know, if you were trying to hack step Curry pictures, Like,
why would you alert people to let them know that
you're doing that kind of stuff? Like you can keep
that to yourself. You know, many hackers probably rush to
go try to hack stuff curry food photos. And I
guess she does send them and she wants them to
delete them. She was just being honest. All right, I'm

(57:16):
Angela Yee and that's your rumor report, all right, thank you,
miss Yee. Shalo mine. Yes, you're giving that down. You
know they say you turn out to be what you
pretend to be. I don't know how true that is,
but we'll discuss four after the hour, all right, we'll
get into that next. It's the breakfast club corner. It's
topic time called eight hundred five eight five one oh five.

(57:39):
Want to join in to the discussion with the breakfast
club talk about it morning. Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yee,
Charlomagne the guy. We are the breakfast club. Now if
you just joined us, we were talking Aisha Curry. She
talks about sending news. Let's hear it. Do you say
you man a spicy photo when he's on the road
for too long? Hundreds of that girl. You're not scared, absolutely,

(58:02):
and he won't to let them off of his phone,
and he's not that like secure this phone. So it's
it's actually one of the scariest things in my life.
So eight hundred five day five one on five one,
we're asking do you send news? Angela Ye said no, No,
I don't. Your boyfriend don't send you know, has he
ever sent me a nude? And he might send a
print or something like that, but not like completely nude.
All right, Charlemagne says, no, I think that's I actually

(58:24):
think it's childish, like that's something you do when you're young.
So I understand I should I would have actually carry
him and he's still in their twenties. Maybe no, I
don't know. I just I just think that's something that
young young people do, like me and my wife do it.
What because I'm on the road and I'm thinking about her,
I would like send me a pick, she send me
a pick. I just think it's too dangerous nowadays to
do stuff like that. And I think that, like with

(58:44):
any other valuable information or anything anything else that's valuable
that you don't want people to see, you shouldn't just
be sending that all willy nilly, you know, v ving
text messages. You know, I think what Whipe Golberg said,
it's true when you know that you live in an
era where you have hackers and they are actively trying
to do these things. Why I put that out there
like that? Why even make that a possibility? But people

(59:05):
do it all the time still, clearly because we keep
on seeing a news leak. Yeah, and when the news leak,
can they really be mad? Especially when you're telling people, Hey,
I send nudes to my folks, How could be like, oh, Yes,
let's go get I used to cry, let's go get Envy. No, No,
I mean we go texting that racing Alex? What's up?
What's up? Man? You send news out? Bro? Suret d

(59:25):
you sound like it all right? Sort due? And I'm
not worried about anybody who's seeing them the ex Are
you sending them to just anybody? Anybody that I'm trying
to smash or anybody that I have smashed that message?
Then I want to see it again. So your boyfriend
loves your nudes. I don't have a place friend. I
like to keep my options open. It's optioning a nickname

(59:48):
for your Listen. Here's the thing. You know, I'm a
top Charlotte man. You can find out. Do you send
them unsolicited like surprise and nude? Um all? If I
know that they're going to be down for it, you
shouldn't be sending the unsolicita news unless you have like
a blanket like this is always okare all the time.
Here's the thing about guys like Alex do no did

(01:00:09):
respect to you, Alex, but nobody cares to hear a
new league. You understand what I'm saying. That's the difference
between Alex and I Asha Kirby, he said, not in
that sense of celebrities. But yeah, you just be another
penis online. I don't care either. I go to new beaches.
I've done an amateur sho. Okay, he did come with
his back to just go be a black chipping deal.
Well youre not black. Well you just don't go be
a chipping chipping deal. Black, just gonna be a chipping

(01:00:33):
They wear both ties and stuff with no shirts. That
looks rack. Why would you wear a both tie with
no shirts? That's corny? Are you like for your meat
to be swinging? Yes? Got you true? True, true? All right,
have a good one, Alex, all right, thanks? Get this
gracious Hello? Who's this yo? This dudette? What's happened? Do
you said? News out? Her name is deuced like mountain

(01:00:55):
like oh like dude, like dood like doo damn Charlotte, man,
now a little so a look, it would be like
I ain't never sucked them before. Right to about a
minute ago, my old lady were mad at me. You
know what I'm saying. I didn't want to, you know,
when they got a little attitude that I want to
come up offit. So we was in that little space
where she wasn't mad, but she was coming up office.

(01:01:18):
So when she was at work, I know, I sucked
up pictures just out the pool, came home at night
and was ready to work, and I thought, I think
she's pregnant. No though, okay do That's a good thing,
ain't it? Dude? You did the damn thing. Hey, man,
I saw all I know how to do. If from
solid that's right? All right? Brother? Hello, who's this? This

(01:01:38):
is Brittany. Hein't Brittany. You said news to your man, Brittany,
I do send news. I travel a lot, so um,
he'll asking all the time for newser even if I'm
in town. He'll be like, go in the bathroom at work,
um and send me. So it's definitely a thing I
know how to time. I even said with my friends
in the group chat, just to make sure they look
good before I send it. To help, you said, naked

(01:01:59):
pictures to your friends to see how good you look? Yea,
so they can approve right, people are suit it to him? Man,
I wish you would put that on the ground so
you can get a bunch of dislikes. So what do
your friends say? Have they ever have they ever told
you this isn't good? Um? I think once they told
me to switch the angle up a little bit, so
I switched it up and sent it back and they
said it looks better that way. So you be naked naked,

(01:02:21):
like naked naked. I mean they're always naked down. I
don't see fake shout And you don't care about people
hacking your phone? Why don't somebody has my phone? That
is true, And I think that's my point. No disrespect
to any of these people that are calling in, but
none of these people are Ash and Curry. You know
what I'm saying. None of these people are people who
are on that level to where somebody would want to

(01:02:43):
post their news all over line. That people haven't having
devastating experiences with revenge porn and pictures being posted online
and people from your job seeing them and being out there,
all the more reason not to be sending stuff out
in this era. Why eight hundred five eight five one
oh five one dude, you said new call us up?
Now it was the breakfast club. Go on, it is
DJ Envy Angela Yee shallow mean the guy. We are

(01:03:05):
the breakfast club. We're asking do you send news and
this conversation came from my U should curry. Let's hear
what she had to say about sending news. Do you
say you man a spicy photo when he's on the
road for too long? Hundreds of that girl that you're
not scared to act? Absolutely, and he's wall to lead
them off of his phone. And he's not that like
secure of this phone. So it's it's actually one of

(01:03:26):
the scariest things in my life. We're asking eight hundred
five A five, one oh five one? Do you send news? Jay?
What's up? Jay? What's up? What's up? Yeah? You know, huh.
I send. I sends to my lady, you know, workday work.
She might be having a you know, rough day at work,
and I send her that big old thing right on
her day up, and I know what she's looking forward
to when she get home. What makes you think that

(01:03:47):
she enjoys that? Because she's send me the emojis with
the hard eyes and the tongue and all of that stuff.
So no, she's with it, you know, eggplane though, Oh no,
that one's too small. Have you ever sent it? Have
you ever sent it when you weren't erect um? No,
that's whack you have to think about it, to think

(01:04:07):
about that. I would never embarrass myself and send a
picture where I'm not erect either, So what do you
do with yourself first? And then take a picture? He's
going and that's a little too far. You can't see
that on their ye Now, I'm just wondering if it can?
I say, do you? You can say do you stroke
the chicken? Which just house sounds way better than that.
I'm sorry, who's crokes chickens? Hello? Who's this? What is

(01:04:29):
this guy talking about? Crazy? Hello? This? That's your sex talk?
What may want to hear my sex talk? But okay,
he's representing a d y third whatever? Whatever? All right? Man?
Do you do you send your d to your r
your girl? Man? I don't. Me and my lady right

(01:04:51):
now currently practices eligacy, So for me to do something
like that, it is just you know, we get part started.
We can't do that, right, I guess? So wait, wait
a minute, why a y'all practicing celibacy? Wait until we
get married? So y'all never had sex? Uh? He can't
say all that y'all did? Whose idea was it? It

(01:05:12):
was hurt? How long has it been? Oh? Man? It's
it's like the new year. Ye how long does it
take to clear up some of these STDs? I don't know.
I couldn't tell you. Just ask him, just asking when
you guys getting married sometime next year. We're still working
on a wedding day. But you can still sending news.
That don't mean that you have to have sex. What's

(01:05:33):
the point of doing that? Come on now, I mean
any of the purpose of sending the news. Just you know,
it's like your prisonal you know, if you want to
arrap when you get hold. Okay, uh, I didn't understand nothing.
The man said, just now, hello, who's this? Y'all look
like you said news here? A girl take a lot

(01:05:53):
every day. Every day. Every day. You gotta make sure
you twitched up. So you gotta change the angles. You
gotta from videos to pictures. You gotta mix it up.
You can't be can't born to send the same thing. Oh,
I don't understand how y'all see y'all girls every day.
Y'all see yall women every day, but y'all got to
send them. Yeah, it's like a formal four player. You
get them ready when they get home, they already horn'ting ready.

(01:06:15):
To rock and run. I think it's too dangerous to
do that form of four play in twenty nineteen. You
know what I'm saying, like, get out there, I'm gonna
be good. I'll be eyes. Will you work at Oh yeah,
nobody care of your news out there, stupid man. Hello,
good morning. My name is Nicky. Good morning, Hey Nikki.
Do you sit new see it? Man? Absolutely not not?

(01:06:38):
What if? What if he send them to his boys
and then here we are? You know Sharon photos? Oh
y'all not married? No? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, you can't
risk that, absolutely not. You might just be his little
girlfriend and you don't know, you know, he might just
be showing them off. No, don't even it's the truth though,
the fact that you even are concerned, the fact you're

(01:06:58):
even concerned he may be showing it the boys, lets
me know. That's just your little boyfriend and that is
the truth, and that is not happening. Did you bring
them around for holidays? Oh my god? Yeah yeah no
no not no, no, all right, thank you mama. But
what's the mordl of the story? Guys? I just think

(01:07:19):
it's too dangerous to be doing stuff like that personally.
In two dollars nineteen. I'm about to send my wife
one right now. You just took one right now. I'm
in the bathroom. You don't just have some. You don't
just have some in your phone ready to go. Do
you put a filter on it? No? Sometimes it doesn't
fit in the whole screen. I gotta shrink it a
little bit. But anyway, Ye, we got rooms. Oh yeah,

(01:07:42):
we're gonna talk about Jesse small letting. Now there's new
video that's been leaked out and it shows him with
the noose around his neck. And I'll tell you what
some of these text messages that they also have released.
What those say? All right, we'll get into that next.
Keep a lot just to Breakfast Club. Good morning the
breakfast Club. What's so funny? Man? What's so funny? He

(01:08:04):
just screamed at Envy to please him? Not? Did not say?
He didn't? We talking about them? Sending news? You got
Kiki today? Dropping a clues box for La La Anthony,
dammit born Day, cancer season, cancer Gang? All day? Have
you born day to? Yes? All right, well, let's get
to the rumors. Let's talk Wendy Williams. Oh gosh, got

(01:08:32):
breakfast club, but looks like Wendy Williams will be in
court today and that's to support her son, who allegedly
punched his dad in the nose during a very heated argument.
He's eighteen years old, and they're saying that incident is
just basically as a family when he he wants to
make sure that she's there to support her son. Kevin
Tenior will be there as well. He doesn't want to

(01:08:53):
press charges, but because it's a domestic incident, prosecutors often
have to keep on just investigating and pressing on even
if you're don't want to press charges. So she is
saying now that she and Kevin Hunter Senior will work
through this and maintain a relationship and friendship because of
their son. You can't press charges on your son because
you was a sucker, you know what I'm saying. He
can't press charge in yourself regardless, but he wasn't trying to.

(01:09:14):
But you know, when there's a domestic incident, you can't
press whether or not you want to press charges. That
cops do still sometimes continue on. Yeah, I'm not gonna
site and say there's never a reason to press charges
on your sum. But you can't press charges on your
son because you was a sucker, and your son is
aware that you're a sucker, so you point you in
the nose, because that's what happens to suckers, all right. Now,
Mariah Carry's attorney had to file some documents yesterday, and

(01:09:36):
she's saying that her former assistant disclosed confidential information about
her medical history and personal business. The Daily Mail had
published these stories back in June, and Maria is saying
that's because of this money grabbing personal assistant leaking all
the stuff. Her name is Leanna Azarian. They said she
got butt shots according to her assistant. Yes, she is

(01:09:58):
saying that Mariah did get some shots, and I had
all kinds of cosmetic work done. Also had some damaging
videos of Mariah as an insurance policy in case she
ever fired her, and she had threatened to sell those
clips to the press and then use the proceeds use
the proceeds to buy a house as well. Now, Mariah
did fire her for not showing up to work in

(01:10:19):
November of twenty seventeen, and that's when allegedly she demanded
that Mariah pay her millions in exchange for keeping that
information private. But you did have a non disclosure agreement,
so they mean nothing. I hope I hope Mariah Kerry
gets all the money she can from this woman, because
I hate people who act like NDA's and confidentiality agreements
don't matter. The problem with them is the people who

(01:10:40):
sign them. They don't have anything once they violate them,
nothing at all. So once they violate them, what can
you get out of them? Well, Mariah went at least
five million dollars in damage. Do you know what you
used to pay? It'll take her forty years to get
that all right, Now, for everybody excited about The Lion King,
the soundtrack has been unveiled. Okay, we already know that
beyond say and Childish Gambino in that, but now they

(01:11:03):
have that remake that's going to be out in theaters
July nineteenth, and the soundtrack will be available to stream
starting July eleven. I think they really dropped the ball
now letting the Meagles be the hyenas. That's the only
thing I've seen so far that I don't agree with,
because remember the Meagles were saying he wanted to play
the hyenas. That have been dope, Yeah, absolutely said. Remember
that would have been very very dope and I think
the movie, I would understand what the plot was with

(01:11:24):
the hyenas, and I think at the time when they
was requesting that they weren't as red hot as they
are now. So nobody's seen the vision. They don't had
a vision. They didn't have a vision for the megas.
All right, Jesse small Let some new video has been released,
and that's because the police are releasing all of this evidence,
including bodycam video of officers responding. So when they got
that nine one one call back in January. Now, in

(01:11:46):
case you haven't heard it, they also have video of
when Jesse shows up and the cops are there and
he has a noose on around his neck. You wanna
take it off anything? I don't want to be okay,

(01:12:08):
So okay, turn it off. Yeah, we don't care. We're
over it. So why did he still have the new song?
I guess he said he wanted the cops to see it,
so that's why he didn't take it off until after
the cops had an opportunity to see that. They also
have released messages between the two men, the two Nigerian
brothers who allegedly helped stage this assault, that they have

(01:12:29):
accused him of having stage to fake a salt and
those messages show uh the brothers talking to their own friends,
and he said, I never replied to his fruity ass.
After that, I've been replying to him on Instagram. I'm
done with his gay lord ass. That's one of the
messages that they released. Hey lord as samm what does
that mean? I guess that's their slurs. Why don't you

(01:12:49):
want to hear what would that mean? What Cris got
to do with his ass? Well, he just gonna bring
the lord in the mention of his ass. Alrighty and
a young Buck has released a this song at fifty cents.
I saw this a little while ago, and uh, you know,
according to this song, here's who you had to say.
It's called foufy body's under my bild. I gotta step

(01:13:10):
on it down. It's not our first falling out. And
know how they're handling it now Banks gone, ain't nobody
that is settling it now? The mother to get his
knee versus from whoever were around. I'm the most foofy
this Instagram. This then got goofy. Let's focus on him.
Two million dollars that in the wrong. Let's talk about
the beaches. You the most charge. You know, what I
learned was how not to be a father, apologizing to

(01:13:30):
my sons and my daughters. Don't forgive me for the
pain that I caused or was with it when he
came and he called it phenomenous group stoke ripping on
this report. Yeah, guys, listen. Oh the young Buck record
is dope. Buck can rap, he always could, but nobody cares.
All right, there's nothing you can say about fifty that
will cause any damage to him whatsoever. I don't know
if fifty Center is the Donald Trump of rapper, if

(01:13:51):
Donald Trump is the fifty cent of presidents, but they're
both teflon. Nothing sticks, nothing penetrates. To people who love
fifty love them, and to everyone else, he's the person
people love to hate. Nothing hurt some. I don't see
the point other than for Buk the show he can wrap.
All right, Well I'm angela. Yeah that's your rumor report.
