Speaker 1 (00:00):
Fifty percent. Watch ye I love you right out of
rackets to sit down become the most prominent form for
wait your ass something early in the morning. But they
tell me what y'all? I said, Oh, hell yeah, I'm
getting the choice water three people's choice. But I've got people.
(00:22):
I can't believe. You guys are the past. Did we
know this? The pressfast club pict good morning? You must say, well,
(00:45):
good morning. He's damby good morning angela. Yea, it's Monday.
That's right back to the work week. Where's the yo
yo yo yo yo yo yo guy. I'm sure he'll
be here in the second. All right, today is the
solar eclipse that's going down. Are you gonna be watching that? No,
I don't have the glasses. Now, you gonna get them? Well,
any store, any store, I sold out everywhere. You can
(01:08):
also make your own, that's what they've been saying. You
gotta get a shoe box, and you can get some
cardboards and aluminium foil. But that you still can't directly
look at the sun. You gotta have to use those
to look at it. Well, I want to, Well, I'm
gonna try. You can't use regular sunglasses right now. You
have to get specials. It look like three D glasses.
I've seen them. Yes, well, hopefully you can still find
(01:30):
them somewhere. I'm gonna try to get them. I gotta
get like for all the kids are excited to see him,
So I'm gonna trying to get Yeah, you can't see
it from here. Who said you can't unless you go
to like Liberty Science in Jersey. The best place down south.
You just need like an open space that We're not
gonna have a very long time in New York right
viewing it. But you can see you can see it.
You just have to go someplace where there's no tall
(01:51):
buildings in the way. One of the best places to
see it is absolutely Columbia, South Carolina. Because I was
totally upset that I couldn't take my daughter because I
had to be in La this weekend. But yes, South
Carolina is one of the best places to see it. Really,
down south is one of the best places to see it.
That's what they're saying. Yes, but I'm gonna try to
see it. I know they said if you have an
open field with no buildings, you might have an opportunity
in a chance to see it. So I'm gonna check
(02:12):
all the places in New York and New Jersey where
I can't see it. The kids those glasses. I'm gonna
try to get the glasses today, which is awfully wave
because the sun in the moon is everywhere. So I thought, right, yeah, yeah,
we all on the one sun and one moons. I
don't understand why everybody wouldn't see it at the same time. Well,
you know there's time, different time zones and one forty
three here, right, we're on the same East coast time
(02:34):
is down south. Yeah, we're in the same time zone.
But I think the sun is in a different position
there than it is here. So it's when the moon
is passing in front of the sun, and so I'm
sure at different angles you see it differently at different times.
As kids didn't we wasn't it a bigger eclipse when
we were kids and we watched it thirteen seventy nine,
I believe, No, I don't remember. I don't know that one.
That was the nineteen seventy nine. I don't know that
(02:56):
wasn't Yeah, nineteen seventy nine, one seventy nine, So I
thought they was one. Had stop stop trying to add
young when you're not young. I was too at that point.
Now whatever, I couldn't even remember. Well, this is the
first total solar eclipse since nineteen seventy nine, so there
might have been partial ones. Might see what you remember.
I remember talking about it in school. I don't know.
The only eclipse I acknowledge is push your tea in malts,
(03:17):
drop on the clue's bombs, and push your team in malam.
And it's also a solar eclipse and a lunar eclipse.
So this one's a solar eclipse un is obviously with
the moon. Well, shout everybody in North Carolina. Angela and
I were in North Carolina on Friday. Should have stayed
to us the solar eclipse right for real. We were
at Peter Thomas's Club one, which is rammed out. Shout
to him, yeah it was passing and then shout. But
(03:37):
at that party with me in the city at ASAP,
fur kid out and performed did his damn thing too.
So let's get the show cracking front page news. What
we're talking about. You, let's talk about all the protests
that went on over the weekend. It's pretty exciting to
see everybody coming out to protests against racism. Also I'll
give you some more updates on what's happening with the
solar eclipse. All right, we'll get into all that when
we come back. Keeping locks this to Breakfast Club. Good
(03:59):
morning morning. Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela, Ye, Charlomagne and God.
We are the Breakfast Club. Let's getting some front page
news and let's talk about this solo eclipse a little more.
All right, So we're gonna do some last minute information
about the solo eclipse in case you haven't been paying attention.
The last one that we had was in nineteen seventy nine,
and that was the total solar eclipse, the last time
(04:21):
that we had one of those. So this is a
monumental thing. You might never see this again in your lifetime.
This is gonna happen today starting at ten am on
the West coast and it ends on the East coast
a little before three pm. Also, it last a few hours. Yeah,
last a few hours, depending on where you are. Okay, yeah, smooth.
The South Carolina's a lot of lizard Man sightings. The
Liza Man is supposed to come out once the solo
(04:43):
eclipse hits today. The lizard Man, What the hell's the
Liza man old South Carolina, miss you know, so clearly
a man. That's the lizard who lives in like the swamps,
and he'll probably come out to day during the solo eclipse.
All right, Well, as far as you're watching it, the
total solo eclipse is gonna last about two minutes depending
on where you are. The longest time of the event
is about two minutes and forty three seconds. That's when
(05:04):
everything goes dark. So what you're to do, you'repposed to
make a wish or something like? What's to do? Exciting
for people to watch because you might never see something
like this again. Some people feel like it's a scary thing.
Like back in the day they to feel like because
they didn't know exactly what it was, it was like ominous.
It's got to be something spiritual connected to it to
like we're posed to I'm gonna make a wish, That's
what I'm gonna do. If you wish on a fallen star,
(05:24):
you should wish when you see a solar clipse. I'm
gonna do something. I'm not gonna just sit there and
be like, oh what, look at that mighty marvel of
the world. So what exactly is a solar eclipse. A
solar eclipse is when the Moon's shadow falls on the
Earth as it passes between us and the Sun. So
that means, uh, that's why it's gonna be dark now.
Lunar eclipses is the opposite. That's when the Moon is
blacked out by moving into the shadow of the Earth.
(05:46):
So this one we're having is a solar eclipse. I'm
gonna make a wish. I would pray, but that would
be kind of stupid to close your eyes during that
whole thing, because and make sure you wear glasses if
you plan to watch and not just really go blind.
So you have to get the special glasses or as
you could do long term damage to your eyes. So
don't play around with that trying to be cute, trying
to look directly into the sun. Just get you some
(06:08):
three D glasses from the movie theater. That way you
can see a cold. That's They're pretty cheap. You can
go to any drug store and get them, so make
sure you go pick them up. A lot of people
can have messed the boys after this. I know a
lot of people want to be like I can see you.
I know that for sure. Yeah, because they're gonna be expect.
I wonder if you look through your phone, because you
know a lot of people gonna be listening to do
that either. And if you're gonna get the camera ornocular,
yeah right, unless you have the glasses on too, or
they have special filters thing for the camera, because the
(06:29):
thing is if you zoom in or something like that,
it actually intensifies. Well, guess what, it's gonna be a
lot of blind people after there's no way in how
this generation is going to avoid looking through their phone.
I'm trying to take a picture. Well, if you have
the glasses on, you should be fine. All right. Well
let's talk about all these protests. Well, we were all
talking about the scheduled quote unquote free speech rally, which
(06:50):
is really just code for we want to discuss racist
things and promote that without being arrested. But that happens
in Boston, and they were about forty thousand protests esters
they came to Boston to rally against these quote unquote
free speech people. So anti hate protesters, anti hate protests,
that's that's craving Boston because Boston always has the reputation
(07:13):
of being a racist city. Thirty three people who are
arrested very few injuries that happened. And now amongst all
of that, there was also protest in Atlanta as well.
And here is what the protesters were chanting, MONEF Trump,
get out the way. How they get a band? They
had a band with them playing Istrabel. Yeah, they very organized.
(07:36):
There was about two thousand demonstrators on the streets in
Atlanta and they were peacefully protesting all of the racism
and hate that was on display in Charlottesville, Virginia the
previous week. And in Virginia they are trying to get
rid of they started this petition. They want to get
rid of some Confederate monuments and replace that with the
statue of Missy Elliott's. According to the Constantly Elliot, I
(07:58):
was kidding, well, he said, the guy started it together.
We can put white supremacy down, flip it and reverse it.
You're trying to you mean to tell me a matter
of fact, this is the anniversary of Nat Turner's slave Rebellion,
which happened in Virginia. Right, But y'all want to put
up a picture, I mean, a statue of Missy Elliott.
I love Missy Elliott, but I'm just saying, wouldn't you
rather much have a statue in that turner or somebody
like why Missy Elliott? Well, they felt like she was
(08:20):
born there. She had a significant rise from her very
humble beginnings, and she had over thirty million albums sold.
What does that have to do with black people's civility?
I love Missy Elliot, but Jesus right, can we get up?
I already together? Why follow the white races? Me up?
I'm not, I'm not even I would miss me. Listen
(08:41):
man for push your tea, Missy Elliott? Come on though, listen,
I'm with that. Maybe de'angelo too songs and I like
to move trump thing. Chris Brown, All right, well that
is your front page news, all right now when we
come back, get it off your chest. Lords eight five
eight five one o five one. If you're upset, you
hit us up right now. Maybe you feel pissed off,
(09:03):
maybe you feel blessed, whatever it may be, get it off.
Getting mad about power last night? Oh Lord, have mercy?
That hurt my heart? Man? Who, oh my god? Like
why y'all had to do that on power? I don't
know if y'all seen Game of Thrones, but oh my gosh,
I just don't all right, let's move it. All right,
try to pick up a black show. And here come
(09:23):
this old this guy. All right, this breakfast something on
it the breakfast club. Wake up, wake up, wake y'alls.
You're trying to get it off your chest because you're
mad or blessed. We want to hear from you on
the breakfast But good morning? Was this? Lamar? Get it
(09:44):
off your chest? Are you doing? I'm feeling blast man,
like I actually lived to see the day where a
racial statue of a man coming down and replacement. I
can't believe you really believe that's gonna happens. They're not
gonna put miss l Yeah they ain't say there, I know,
but you know why it is they able to put
the and I would have cried, my brother. We got
to stop playing with stuff like this, Like I know
it's cool and it's funny that's circulating petition, but we
(10:07):
look like a joke if we're actually trying to get
these Confederate statues down to put up statues and missy
Elliot bros. A statue, No, no, not not in Virginia.
When when that turn frond, when that turnout at a
slave rebell turn deserves a statue to But I'm not
gonna say Missy Elliott doesn't deservest but that what does that,
Dame Elliot? You could put a statue of her high
(10:27):
school or elementary yeah, and something like that. Yeah, but
don't act like you know Missy Elliot has advanced black
people in some way, shape or form. She's infatuation. She has,
but not like definitely has anyway, You're right, Yeah, I
have a dream speech. I'm gonna have to make up
for Missy Elliot this morning. Hello, who's this Victoria? Hey, Victoria,
(10:47):
get it off your chests parts when I can't go
in school working at the same time, what you're saying that, Victoria? Yes, yes, Victoria,
which how are you going to ext your money? But
won't you get another job or something? I can't. I'll
go to school full time. Of course, I can't afford
the prices. I tell you. Actually flew out to Vegas
(11:08):
to the iheard festival. You got money for that, but
you can't got money for the train. I don't have
money this year like that. I don't. I don't. Maybe, Victoria,
it's one hundred and sixty eight hours in a week.
You got more than enough time to chase your dreams
and deal with your reality. Okay, I can't enough, but
I can't work. I'd be ducting on the train, posting
the conductor. Don't see me. How you can't work? You
(11:29):
go to school full time. Talk about forty hours a week.
What you're doing the other one hundred and twenty eight
hours studying? That's the fact. We'll get your study straight
as that's right. Yes, it's eight pluses. Well, thank you
for calling mama. Get it off your chests eight hundred
five eight five one oh five one. If you're upset,
you need to vent. Hit this up right now. It's
the breakfast club. Go one, pick up the mother mother
(11:50):
phone and down. This is your time to get it
off your chest. Whether you're mad, we want to hear
from you on the breakfast club, but you better have
the same energy lag good morning, Hey, good morning. How
you doing? And he's pretty good morning, Charlemagne. How y'all doing? Man?
But now you were at the Atlanta protests, right yeah.
(12:12):
I'm one of the organizers and I was a participator
for a shout out to the NAACP, Black Lives Matter,
the Sisters Organization, Sister Care Alliance Organization, Macko, Max Grassroot
UH Foundation, Francis Johnson for the NAACP, Gerald Bridge from
the NAACP, Malwani Davis from the Coquering Firm, Janelle green
(12:38):
Um to Senator Vincent Forts, so many people. But yeah,
I was actually there in the answer your question. No,
we didn't have a vand Charlemagne, but there was a
gentleman there, a couple of gentlemens that came with their trumpets. Now,
but what happened And I'll tag you guys on Twitter
in some of the pictures. I put them up on Instagram.
(12:59):
Blah blah a lot of this past weekend. What it
was was we had a we had a little a
car pulling a sound system and somebody decided to put
on Luda Chris Move and we just took the words
and just remixed it. It was spontaneous. It was. It
(13:20):
was real spontaneous because I didn't even you know, and
I was one of the part of the organized they could.
I didn't know that we was gonna do that. But
it just happened to clicking. Everybody just started chain. I'll
show you I can't. I saw the video. I saw
a bunch of videos I liked that chat, man. But
you know, we just gotta keep in mind that removing
Trump out of the White House is definitely part of
the treatment, but it's absolutely not to kill kids. He's
(13:40):
still gonna have plenty of white devils who are racist
and who who only want liberty and justice for them,
not all just them. Hello, who's this? What's going on?
Mister paying forward? Dj MVY? What's up? Mister paying for it?
Ain't nothing? Man? First off, I just want to subtle
by saying, God bless you and your family, man, me
and my girl follow y'all think your family and sold man.
You know what I'm saying. I feel like I'm blessed
(14:02):
right now, of course, because I'm paying it forward and
I'm in the process of starting the non for profit. Um,
I'm really considering if the name should be Paying Forward
or Feed the Streets. I'm not really sure yet, but
background me a little excited. Um. I'm actually in New
Orle right now, on my way to go pick up
some food so I can start handling it out. Bro,
didn't we talk about this? Did we talk about what
I thought? You email me? Yeah? I didn't email you.
(14:24):
You ain't hit me back yet, Man, Stop Lynes, ain't
I ain't hit you back, and I did hit you back.
Now you hit me back and then I responded, can't
email again? You told me last week to leave me
my Instagram. I left it and you ain't respond back
to it yet. Let me look at see man goodness,
tell you manage even get things a lot. I do
want to help you get some food to the homeless.
(14:45):
I like what he's trying to do. Mister paying forward
is going like a bunch of restaurants that be throwing
out food when they don't use the food at the
end of the night. I already have leftover food that
he takes it to the homeless people. I like that idea.
He wants to get a van though, to keep the
food fresh. Did he may do the go for meal? No,
not check. I don't remember. Look at his messages and
see sad he emailed me. But I remember hitting him back.
(15:07):
But that's all I remember. Get it off your chest
eight hundred five eighty five, one on five one of
your upsets. You need to vent hit us up. Even
got rumors on the way. Yes, we'll tell you what
reality start couple. I guess they there a couple again?
Are going to be on Marriage boot Camp. Also Whitney
Houston a new documentary coming. This one sounds like it's
going to be pretty interesting. All right, we'll get into
all that when we come back. Keep it locked. This
(15:28):
the Breakfast Club. Good morning, all right? All right, well
let's get to the rumors. We gotta say, rest in peace,
Dick Gregory. It's about the Breakfast Club. Well, yes, Dick
Gregory was eighty four years old when he passed. According
(15:49):
to his rep he died from heart failure. He was
recently hospitalized for an unknown but serious condition that Dick
Gregory has been on the Breakfast Club before. A Canadian actor, writer,
civil rights actor. This he was the first black performer
to perform at a white club in nineteen sixty one,
when Hugh Hefner saw that he was talented and gave
him a regular spot at the ploy Playboy Club in Chicago.
(16:10):
He also performed on The Tonight Show back in the days,
but refused unless he was able to have a seat
on the couch. And often people will say things like,
why do you have guys like Dick Gregory on the
Breakfast Club. He has nothing to do with hip hop,
He's old, I'm like, this is why because he's iconic. Absolutely. Absolutely,
he was arrested numerous times during marches in the sixties
as well, among with some of the biggest civil rights
(16:33):
leaders of the decade. To rest in peace to Dick Gregory.
Our condolences to his family, and we will be replaying
that Dick Gregory interview next hour Hour Cultural Purposes. Absolutely. Now,
Whitney Houston, there's a Showtime documentary that is going to
be coming out and it's called Whitney Can I Be Me? Now?
There's some previously unseen to our footage from nineteen ninety nine,
(16:53):
and there's some interviews with Whitney Houston's friends and family.
They're going to talk about all kinds of things, including
the fact that she was on drugs way before she
met Bobby Brown. Also rumors about her sexuality because everybody
said that her best friend that used to work for
her was also her girlfriend, and her downfall and kind
of how they had built up this flawless image of
Whitney Houston that her record label wanted to do. They
(17:14):
wanted her to really cross over, and they said her
brothers actually used to give her the drugs. They said
they would party, and that's what people did back then.
They also said her first number one hit, which was
Saving All My Love for You, they did that because
any song that was too funky or two R and
B or too black was rejected for Whitney by the label.
They wanted to kind of whitewash her, and they said
(17:35):
she actually got booed at the Soul Tryan Awards back
in nineteen eighty nine. It was some backfire to all
of that whitewashing, so that she never really recovered from
that situation. But it seems like it gonna be a
really good documentary. That's crazy though, because all of Whitney
houston songs seemed like they had so much soul. Like
nothing about Whitney ever seen whitewashed to me, I think
earlier on if you hear some of her songs like
(17:56):
so emotional, it's like a lot of you know, cutting whitewashing.
After she got Bobby Brown, right, she met Last Name
is Brown and she had to put Brown learn at
that culture in the words where she got booed. That's
where they met, and that kind of changed her life
because they try to make her have this clean image
hugging Teddy Bears and then she met Bobby Brown and
that kind of brought back who she really was, nice
(18:17):
Brown staying on that white T shirt. Ar In an interview,
they also said I don't think she was gay. I
think she was bisexual, and they kind of confirmed that
she did have a relationship with her best friend, Robin Crawford.
All Right, so make shure y'all check that out. Seems
like gonna because on showtime and jay Z this interview
he did with rap Rader. We have a lot of
different clips we'll be playing throughout the morning OpenView, but
(18:37):
here's one part where he talks about LaVar Ball and
the Big Ball La brand and how he bought three
pairs of those sneakers LaVar Ball. He said, I'm gonna
stop my own company. Anybody's like you should sign a Nike.
Now he may go about things wrong, but I bought
three pairs. That man has a vision of his own.
Why why wouldn't I support him? Why do we get
so upset when we us as a culture, I want
(19:00):
to start our own Shi is puzzling to me. I
sit back and I'm like this makes no sense. Like
the thing like everyone has this reverence towards these things.
You know what I'm saying, like, they can't happen. We
are culture. Nothing moves without us. We just continue to
give it away. Jay Z is absolutely right. But it's
puzzling to me that it took jay Z to say
(19:21):
that for people to be like, yeah, he's right. That's
been my mindset since day one. I always said that
if laval Ball wins with this, he changes the way
shoot companies do business with players forever and opens up
the door for a new era billionaire. Well, he's sold
one hundred and fifty thousand worth on the first day,
so that's great. Apparently people went out, but those and
that statement right there is gonna have people going back
and buy it more. So that's a wonderful thing. Drop
(19:41):
on a clues bomb for rapper right off to a
d doctor. All right, well I mandel la ye, and
that is your rumor report. All right Now, when we
come back, we're gonna get out an interview on with
Dick Gregory. We did this U I thought months ago
I was marching twenty. Well, we're gonna get that back
on when we come back. Don't move. It's the Breakfast Club.
Go Morning, This Morning everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yee,
(20:02):
Charlomagne the God. We are the Breakfast Club. Now, we
had the pleasure to interviewing Dick Gregory, who passed away
over the weekend at the age of eighty four. He
was a civil rights activist, a comedian anymore. And we're
gonna get that interview back on us. Let's go the
privilege honor that had this man in the building this morning,
mister Dick greg Richter, Dick Gregory, thank you. That scares me.
(20:23):
They said that about Jesus on Thursday and pure him
on Friday, and then and then white Food told me
to follow it the good day, so I followed good Friday. Now,
now I love watching your What your message from black people?
You do it every year. Well, what's your message for
black people in two sixteen? Run? Why why do you
(20:44):
say run? I never thought i'd tea to day. I
pray to God because if I'm barned over again, I'm
want to be a white man. Really now I'm super black. Yeah,
they're so lucky, man. Think about all the stuff that
happened to us and when we finally get a black president.
That's why didn't white folks is lugging, they'd get a
behaved negro. He don't raise his boss. He never called
(21:07):
him a hockey telling what I'm saying. Can you imagine
how lucky they are? So if you were president, it
would be a lot different. You know, I ran for
president in nineteen sixty eight, and had I won, the
first thing I would do would dick up that rose
garden and planted me a watermelon patch. Oh shit, up
(21:27):
on the balcon and eat watermelon and spit the siege
on Pennsylvania. What do you do you feel about to
ride with Donald Trump? I think it's two of them,
the one no, no, no, the one of us. The
one guy can't be that ugly. What would you do
if Donald Trump won and became president? If you went
to become president in America, anything as possible because we
(21:53):
don't run nothing. But if you've got the money, then
there's certain things you child don't go to. You you
got the black man. Even though if your child out
the damn IRA, you don't have to wait till Bobo
get paid. You go to date. The same thing is there,
but they don't go through that whole out that ten children,
(22:17):
many damn happy before I'm proud my friend to cut
you up to your hole. Man, I just give me
some booty, y'all be y'all be going through these changes,
and they were gonna lie about this. Now I see
John Legend is producing an off Broadway play based on
your life, Turn Me Loose? Yes? Did he come to
(22:38):
you or was that your idea? Did you say, hey,
I have an idea, I want to do this play business?
I never had ideas. Come on, now, I don't know
that I don't head ten thousand miles away. I mean,
when you stop and think about Al Sharpton, it's probably
the most possible black person in America. The pose of
the shows five days white network more than over. Oh
(23:04):
he got the media And do I need to leave
here something? No, my brother, I'm just challenging you how
it works on every day, five days a week. I
think that's the problem nowadays, Like you know, you don't
have a lot of oldgs sharing with them. It's the
different rhythm. Hey man. When I was a lout barn Yeah,
(23:27):
NBCC best an ABC. Now my grand child and my
children they're trying to turn from ABC to NBC and
pass the pornography station. Four years old, I'm gonna stop
who you got social media? With all the stuff out here.
You got Instagram, I'm touching under that. Let me show
you something. Yeah, okay, oh, that's gonna show you because
(23:49):
I feel what you're saying. What you're gonna show you
know what? Because that's not that's not Beyonce's cousin. Man
oh man checks along to find no here you go,
but you ain't no cop for your gun. The booty. Yes,
let me just straighten out something for you. The Catholic
Church didn't make a booty. The word booty came from
(24:13):
the pirates. That's the loot. The loot that they take
is called the booty. Let's go get some booty for
a black man is the only one that called his
woman the booty because we're pirates and she hain't been free.
We're the only man in the world that referred to
our woman. He's a strong sister. But call our car
(24:35):
beautiful for you wonder the white shoots your mama, your daddy,
your son twenty times in head, but won't mess what
your car because then they mess with the car. As
long as you've been here, and you ain't never heard
of black man said that white racist cop took stick
and hit my car while we had a prevision for
(24:58):
a five year old gott in the head. You show
the youngs in Cleveland years old. Pull that up and
go look at it again. You could see the rooftops
when he's out there playing in the park, which meaning
those pictures was coming from a satellite. Did you see
when the cop pulled up? Now, anytime somebody said Nick
(25:18):
would have done? You think one cop come to show up?
It be forty I'll come. Just one cop showed up
because they told him he was a kid who possibly
had a toy gun and was playing. They didn't hear that. Huh.
And we can take that back to the black panthers.
How are you gonna sit and say kill the white
racist police without getting me killed? But that's the game.
(25:42):
What's the headline of minorities? One point five million missing
black men? Now wait a minute, now missing no mean?
Then jiggle m h black body parts from black men.
It's worth ten thousand more money than from women. So
what did they do? The body parts they sell the
people like you don't want? What do they do? Man?
(26:03):
They told me how smart you was? Can I talk
to somebody else, I wouldn't even share this with you.
When that body told me, oh, he's so bleeding, you
better go home to night and check makes you. You
ain't got no scars. You got some scars. I woke
up the other morning I had two cuts on both shins. Okay,
(26:25):
I said ali I was with playing saying aliens abducted me. Well,
let's look at it. They told you, Remember that, they
told you. I guess it was six months ago. About
that planet. They called it our cut. How close it
is here that's where they are missing. Don't mean I
mean jail, missing, mean I'm going you're powerful talking your
(26:47):
powerful speech. Did they ever banned you from places? Or
is their backlash it all here? They damned me from
my house. That's why I only got children. No, he's
let me tell you how works. When you say you
are a soldier, black men will talk about the soldiers
go to war. I was in the military when it
(27:11):
was segregated. Fifty thousand black men with a white captain
up on the table. I want you boys understand if
you're captured by the enemy, given nothing but a name,
right and still now and all of them, yeah, we understand,
except me and you said, what's wrong with you? Boy?
Are you stupid? I said, I guess I am. Y'all
think when white folks ask you a question, you're supposed
(27:34):
to be breaking. Mister Gregory, we paid you one hundred
thousand dollars to come over here put the date. But
while we're waiting, a couple of us like to ask
you some questions. What's on your mind? So I get
into my Uh did you say, y'all want to know? Well?
(27:54):
My mind? Well, I'm trying to figure out where do
albinos go after high school? Every high school got albino?
You see one? You travel a lot. You ever seen
one on the plane, But ain't none in the army,
(28:14):
ain't none in jail. You know on that Super earth Man.
You ain't never heard no woman say albino rape me
to be easy to catch. So I just want to
know where why I've got to be brilliant to them. Now,
where do they gold? Huh? I've been out the cemetery.
I understand albino cemetary in the albino. I just wanted
(28:37):
to know where albinol gold after high school. That's all
you got told for you too, never seeing albino and
you live in LA. I know one. I don't know
that well, yeah, but he might not be one. Did
they always find one black to see one? I have
never seen one. That's all I'm so. Then I get
(29:00):
off of that. They said book anything else. I said, Yeah,
I'm trying to wonder what happens to pigeons. I ain't
never seen the baby pitgeon, have you? No? No, that's
a and then white folk shall that's because you irving.
I'm irbing. I've seen the baby kangaroo, seen a baby goldrella. Huh,
(29:21):
you hear me. I've never seen two cats an evening.
I've seen Yes, you just you almost missed because I
was watching you. See what I'm saying. That's up. So
you don't have the money to do everything I did
thirty million dollars research. If white folks say or something
(29:42):
I don't know, I just tell them like they tell me,
I lie about it. You did race relations in America? Whatever?
What difference with nigga. That's like me and you were
Jews and I say German and you stay with me.
You think racial relations and journey whatever in food? And
I called pol least on you? You hear me? You
(30:02):
see here? Hide works one hundred and ten years ago,
we had a meeting and you say, one day horses
will be obsolete. They take you to a mental hospital
while even a trial and your day horses is obsolete.
Some people had that vision where they can see it.
It's like the word honky. We let white folks try
(30:25):
to put us down and say that's the racial turnments. Not.
You see, when I tried to explain the white folks
that prostitution is for the benefit of white boys. You
mean black men don't have prostitutes. I should go back
to slaving man. She didn't have a job behind I'm
a bus. I mean, just ask yourself. I'm about I
(30:48):
don't have to pay for it. I get them when
she come home wet, but a pockets full of your money.
But where a proslem? When I went to college, the
whole house run by a black woman, mall hate thirty
miles away from Southern Elaw University. That's what ran Richard
Prior crazy. He's in pure ellinor ninety miles from Chicago.
(31:09):
So when Prince Charles and you know, the mayors come
in from all over the world, they go down there's
a white faking see them and when the brother pull up,
he honked on Hank. That's for the word honkey come from.
We're here. I'm trying to figure out what how do
honkey mean? Anything but that this is a game they played, Okay,
(31:33):
but it messes up the whole system. I did some research.
I was I was looking for breast milk. So I
called my man. I said, man, I need you to
find the number one authority on breast milk. You want
to drink it in the world? Am I talking? I'm sorry, sir?
Are you here five days a week? Yeah, I'm just
here for I'm sorry. Okay. So Steve Jaffee call him
(31:58):
and he said, hey, uh, the problem there is two authorities.
I said, well, I'm gonna get one meetings up. Okay,
I give them two legion and the other thing. Both
of my men, did you hear me? The number one
and number two authority on breast milk is men. Did
(32:19):
you ever watch your wife nurse a baby? While she's
nursing on this breast of breast is leaking? Do you
know them folks thought it was milk. It's parsing that
universal got to the baby, didn't come from her, came
through her and all the pause and she's had in
her body since she was a baby and shoots it
(32:39):
out so that baby can't get it. I said, all
you got to do is have it tested these authorities.
Oh my god, look here. Huh, that's what we're living with.
Something's not right. I saw you say once that you
know Barack Obama was president and black people still sleep well,
why would they wake up? Why would they wake up?
(33:01):
It's like Bill Cosby didn't know he's gonna get no trouble.
White folk loved him. He was doctor who he's quit postable.
You ever heard a nickname huscal? You ever heard the
white board name Huske. Ain't nobody on the planet name husband.
That name don't spare white folks. And white folk loved him,
White children beyond his shoulder, eating tat the oak out
of the year, drums, mommy, mommy, and then all the
(33:24):
one his son get killed and he can't do no
more jello commercials? Did you ever think about that? What
got him in trouble? He was gonna buy in DC.
So that's a fact that ain't some internet room up.
I don't deal in facts. I don't guess what wife will.
Don't mess with me. I don't hand no bodyguards. I've
always been listed in the phone book. I never had
(33:47):
to check my wife handle all the money. That's her
and two children. That's why you never saw no scandal
about me. Why when I was in the nightclub man
taking five thousand nights, I made a deal with myself.
If I didn't bring a woman in here, I'm not
leaving with one. This is my job. I wouldn't bring
(34:07):
it to a steel Bill. Or you think they waithed
this along to come after Bill? Huh? Or did they
waited this a long to come after because he was
gonna buy MBC And if you don't understand white supremacy,
you missed it all. And he did the same thing
to him. He did the tiger Wood. Tiger Wood got
(34:28):
four more majors to catch up with Jack Nicholas five
to be the all time champ. That's when they busted him.
And then that the major deal. They said, he's going
to a such camp in Mississippi. You see that. Yes,
they wing you off for ye give me the address. Serious,
(34:51):
they gave up nothing here. I'm surprised they never came
after you all that. Honest speaking, you'd be doing what
I said, I'm surprised that. But y'all forget y'all think
y'all came from this stuff, your mom and them. I
know I came from the same universe before that put
the moon, the sun, the water and everything else. Come
get me if you can, But you got to get
(35:13):
through Hm. No, damn. You see you see the he
talking about the baddest thing in the history of the planet. Huh,
bigger than mountains, the dinosaur. But they didn't tell you
when the dinosaurs here, so was the butterfly. It ain't
about being big and bad and nasty. He should be
(35:36):
nice and humble. Look at her, I see the butterfly. Dude,
who seen a caterpillar? The pictures of talentine they call us.
So then out of that caterpillar, the cocoon, he hooks
her stuff with a tree and the heat comes through.
(35:56):
That whole came in and out comes beautiful. I see
why you got ten kids. Oh, let's move talking. No,
I don't. I don't talk about you know what I'm saying.
How many babies? You go too? Were you talking? Yeah?
I talk too much? You talk too much and tweets
(36:19):
at the same time. So this is the last part
about interview with Dick Gregor. If you want to see
the full interview, just hit up our YouTube page Breakfast Club,
am right, check it out. I wonder what you think
of the youth of the word and now. I mean,
because you know you wrote the book, great book. When
you think of the word the way people use it
now like in a good context. Well, that's why they
made once you Stop being Unshamed was something that wasn't
(36:39):
do in the first place. And the reason the white
folks are so mad at the president then because at
one time they didn't see nothing, but they wanted to see.
That's why Jet magazine one day will go down. It's
one of the fine things in the history because all
over the world you didn't get to see I entertainers.
(37:00):
You got to see the blood person of a vice
president of Harvard. Uh. You got to see the woman
huh Nah. I got a problem with the number one
major black education to well, it's Hollwood. Hotwood was named
after a thug punk white board General Howard who become
famous for killing Indians children. And that's whose name is
(37:22):
on that school. The most powerful black scoop for women,
it's Spellman, named after Rockefeller's Mama, spellman, Rockefeller, are you crazy?
But that had changed? You all have changed? That that
a change, huh? Because they can't look and see what
this whole piece is about. And you comics. You know,
(37:42):
one thing ain't no money in comedy compare to writing.
The other one is just trickery. And the reason they
can't deal with me. I was making five thousand, like
three nights a week, and the black folk came to
see me and the money. The spe shows thirty five
cents footballer, dear, you can sit all night. That's how
I'm one of the few comments and walk on stage
(38:04):
in twenty four hours. Now I can still be talking
because I reshosed to do the same show over there,
the folks that just heard then I sawt understanding that
celebrity status as a violation of God. Volation of God. God. Yeah,
that's why you think celebrity is so crazy. All the
weak had sex craziness to have all the drinking and
(38:25):
all of this, and it's a violation. I got around
it because I'm listed in the phone book. Nicks made
me Queen Elizabeth makes three hundred and sixty million dollars
every twenty four hours, just interest on our money. But
my welfare can put our hand next to him, and
both of them was made by the same person, and
(38:47):
both of them remains to say it hat no trigging
dollar hand. She had babies the same way. Well, fair
mothers had babies black. I want no free money. As
a businessman, I can take a hole all around the
world with me today as long as I call that
whole my secret. This attacks light off, damn see first class.
(39:08):
They wouldn't be there if they couldn't write the ticket off.
That works. That's the game they played. But most people
don't know is Michael Jackson was killed at two o'clock
in the morning with a laser. But a laser. Four
days later they find the bloody shirt on the gotta
do is booble it and found out it was four
(39:28):
hundred thousand dollars jewelry in cash missing. That's why they
told Bratton to get out of there. And if you
followed where he went when he left there, went to Virginia,
see I. And so that's why this is so important.
This is my final question, is I, Greggy, what's what's
what's the solutions? Because we know all the problems ain't
no solutions. It's too late, damn when your wife is
(39:49):
nine months pregnant. That universal God gonna drop that baby
if you mean death to the mother and the child. See,
you're always talking about solutions. He saw the Super Bowl, Yes, sir, okay,
you gotta nick out run God, Cam Newton. Were you
so busy looking at the bulls you didn't notice they
(40:11):
had to change cleats eight times on them players? Yeah,
I remember them because they got something in the ground.
That's why they kept falling. Did you see when they
didn't he dropped the ball. He didn't reach all it
in your blood, man, like you dropped up your baby,
you bab you didn't. If you go back the year
(40:32):
before that, they was on the half inch line. They
couldn't even measure no time out. There's a brother there,
Bill outrun God with the ball left throward to a
white ball. He dropped it. Y'all don't know what you're
looking at. This is a trigging dollar industry well fare
folks looking at it and just thinking they ain't gonna
trick you. This is a game. Basically, you just gotta
(40:55):
wait till God coming pressure to wash everything. No, you came, youth,
God as a pit ball. Time has already set. You
got the black doctor, Carson. He's separated, signed these twins
from the head. That's never happened before. He's been running
now for seven months. He done mentioned it. Don't that
(41:16):
seems funny because he wasn't in the room. But let's
say he was. Ain it's something funny. You've done something
that's never happened and hits you to play and you
ain't been nominated for a Nobel prior and say, give it.
He's never been nominated. Oh, this is the game. And
when he got to the President's providial and said Obama
(41:37):
care is worse than slavery. When he got back to
the university in Baltimore, he was fined that already paid
him to do the commencement. Destiny, he keeps a check.
We don't want you back on campus. That's how this works, right,
And so yo, go ahead. Something touched y'all And you're
so beautiful. Let me tell you something. Every week you
(42:00):
should get naked, don't hear me. Hear me, hear me.
Don't cut them all and look into the mirror and
thank God for being beautiful, because ugly it's a bitch.
God you hear me better people people say, ain't no
ugly children? Showed me an ugly adult. We can trace
(42:20):
that back to the preyer. See, I worked, and so
when you stop and think about something, I was gonna
fool you for I left here so I wasn't around
white folks, rigidly segregated. Nick and old black folks told
me all white boys had little btpewees and eventually mine
would touch the ground. I just thought I was a
(42:42):
late bloomer, so you never touched the ground. Joys, what
will you make think? Mind? Did hear me? You made
some of the dumbest If that was true or black
back man, it wouldn't be no divorces, right, you know
what I'm saying. And thank you all, thank y'all, thank you,
(43:05):
thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. It's a
black man. Can you shoot that number there? What's what's
this not? Robert wood Gallop? He invented a queue for
AIDS and HIV. What's that number? No, look at the
number four six, four, seven seventy three. That's the pattern.
All you got to do is call the US pattern
(43:25):
today and give them the number. They tell you what
it is. You know they're not gonna release that. Ain't
no money in the chill every day. There you go again,
money the treatment there you No, you're right now. When
I show you this, I might want all to salute me.
We been no no, no, no, oh no, you didn't
(43:46):
do it right. Oh you had to be like Now,
listen to this. What's the date, November seven nine? This
is the Wall Street Journal, Wall Street Journal. I ran
for president of the United States. No was the fourth
five six seven, that's Friday. Wall Street Journal said, what election? Computer?
(44:06):
Goofs gives Gregory nine million votes? They shut everything down.
That's nine million votes out of Pennsylvania. So for a
few minutes, I was the president. There go great, keep on.
Some machines aren't to be believed. Take the big computer
in New York that was designed to compile results of
Workday's general election. At one point early yesterday morning, the
machine was crediting Dick Gregory, the comedian turned presidential candidate,
(44:30):
with nine million votes in Pensyliana. I want I'd asked
for a recount, and I was told in white folks.
I said, two hundred years you got these rich here,
and they had white folks been running this country I'm
not gonna clean it up. You clean it up, Okay.
So anyway, I just want to thank y'all. Thank you,
(44:53):
really appreciate you. Come brother, You're very necessary, my brother,
thank you for coming. Man. It's the Breakfast Club. Is
did Greg to Breakfast Club? Morning, everybody is DJ n Vy,
angela Ye, Charlemagne and God, we are the Breakfast Club.
Back to the work week. Good morning, yet morning, and
let's get to the rumors. Let's talk fifty verse Earth.
(45:18):
Oh god, it's well, this just sent posted that tells
BS is garbage, a good idea badly executed. It will
be going faster than you can say, fifty did it lol.
And that's a reference to IRV Gotti show Tales that's
on BT, because fifty Tent has his own show coming
(45:39):
to BT as well. Well. IRV Gotty responded. He said,
the fact that this clown is trying so hard for
tells to go away should let everyone know how dope.
My issue is he's saying it's a dope idea but
poor execution. F out of here. Bit you love my issh.
I like the fact that fifty is so petty, and
he's never above hetty, giving some honest critique about something.
But I wonder would he ever really be objective about
(46:00):
Earth show? Because I think Tells is a great show.
You think you would be. Could he could be objective
and actually give it up if he really thought it
was dope? No, Well we'll see now. According to Irby said,
he is shooting the method Man and Mary J. Blige episode.
Now all I need. And he said, don't let him
confuse your power is Courtney Kemps show. It's not his.
He's an actor who gets an EP credit. It's Courtney show,
(46:22):
just like Tells is in my show. So it goes
on and on. It will never be cool. They both
be in the same room, like it be awkward or not.
He'll always be petty. I'm kind of the same. It's
gonna be awkward. It to BET upfronts when you gotta
do Bet Upfronts, and you gotta do BT Tales and
you gotta do fifty Central. Now, they'll do it the
right way. Somebody will get there at like ten am
(46:44):
and the next person get the one PM. They're not
gonna come at the same time. No way, interesting. I
want if they both have offices over there. All right, Now,
let's discuss another beef that's going on, and this is
a Nico Heart versus Tory heart. Now, it all started
with a Nico Heart posting how grateful she is. I
thought they were friends. To God for putting everything together
with her and Kevin. And then somebody said to her,
(47:04):
he hasn't even been divorced for six years, yet he
got divorced November twenty eleven. I'm here for y'all, but
you may not want to flunt how long you guys
been together, because that just feels the rumors of you
being a mistress. Well, Nico responded, and she is pregnant,
so she's probably all in her feelings right now. She said,
there's nothing to flunt. Their marriage has broken away. Before
I came in the picture, they were separated, living in
separate homes. I was never a secret. She knew that
(47:25):
as well. Don't believe the hype. And then she went
on to say that she never wrecked any home. That
was never the case. People ran with it, and she
said that the white ex wife, Tory Hart, wanted to
play the victim and not own up to her wrongdoing
as well. She said that all in the Instagram vs. Yes,
Oh why why is she doing that? You're pregnant, that's
already married. That's why. Yeah, because when you're married, like,
(47:48):
why do you can't like why would that? You probably
bother her all the time, especially when you're pregnant and
you can't control it. Well, Tory Hart responded, and Nico's sweetheart.
Normally I don't feed into this, but when you address
me directly, you forced my hand to respond or to
be made out a liar. We have made success, We
have made successful strikes to become a loving, co parenting family.
(48:09):
But you have now left it open from my character
to be questioned you Kevin, and I know the truth.
I offered this simple solution to your ig comment problems.
Either respond truthfully or don't respond at all. It doesn't
matter if you if you was the mistress, when you
the wife now I ain't don't even matter. But why
you went there? You know, I don't I don't you
the wife now regards me. Just imagine how Kevin was
(48:30):
failing when all this was going. Why Kevin, we can
get to a phone fast enough to make the stop. Comee, baby,
put the phone down. Everybody stopped, all right, man, I
told you we'll be talking about jay Z's and if
you want to rap rate our podcast all morning, well
here is jay Z talking about the whole money phone thing.
I had to listen again, like, how is this being misinterpreted?
(48:52):
I just said, it ain't money to us. It ain't
the money to us is me and my three friends
on the floor the Golden State, not because seats expensive,
but because that's what we're doing. And that can't be
the end of all. That can't be our goal to
get money and then show it on the internet, and
that can't be our goal. That's some corny I've been saying.
It's a change is cooler cop, but more important as
Lawyer fees. That's my first album. I've always been trying
(49:14):
to give people gaming like here, yeah, man, learn from
my experiences. I'm not even saying I'm better than anyone.
All I'm saying it's like, yo, I touched that. I
did that. Now Future went to social media and said,
same money you get, we get into. That's not true, Future,
You're not getting the same money over getting, so you
can stop that lie. That's number one and number two. Yeah,
he never did say. He never told people to stop
doing it. He just said that's not money to me, Yeah,
(49:36):
just up to him. We don't call that money over here,
all right. And then he had this to say about
the I guess supposed future lyric that's in the song
killed jay Z where he talks about futures, you know,
same playing football in the future with his stepfather. Here
is what he said about that. I thought about that
line and I was like, I really don't mean any malice.
(49:57):
What I mean by that is the way his situation
that plays out, because he's such a public figure. My
mom would have played out that way and maybe four
times more. It was a line to say that could
happen to me in my future, you know. And another
way where I have to mature. I have to mature
in that space where I'd be like, long, it's my
child in the love environment. I have to move on.
(50:18):
All right. Well I'm angela. Yeah, and that is your
rumor reports. All right, Thank you, miss ye. And by
the way, shout out to Elliott and be that again
for that interview for rat Radar with jay Z. Well, yeah,
dropping a close bombs all right. I know who you're
giving your donkey donkey today, man, you know this is
all my spirit. But and and I can't not to
(50:41):
talk about it because it just won't go away. And
if I don't get it off my heart, then it's
just gonna sit there and linger. And I don't like
to live with regret. I need to read Saint Patrick
to come to the front of the congregation. We'd like
to have a world with him. He may not be
a real person, y'all, but he's a real person. Yeah,
he's so annoying. Oh my god, I don't even know
(51:02):
who what his real name is in real life, but
I hate you are Are you giving a fake person?
Don't ain't nothing to think about him? Yes? There is?
Ter say, oh yeah, he's just he's definitely kids. They
grew up in the suburbs privilege and then try to
act like the hardcore screens. This this is a waste
you know, is not real. That's real. You came in
(51:24):
talking about dragons this morning. The dragon died. Hey, that's
a spoiler alert. Don't don't mess that up. Well, I'm
about to give a lot of spoiler alerts and donkey
to day, so we just this a spoiler alert show Yeah,
fake g donkey. Let me come back to the breakfast
club morning, say the game don't get the same man
you are. Donkey today does not discriminate. I might not
(51:50):
have the song of today, but I got to donkey that.
So if you ever feel I need to be a
donk man with practice club bitches, I just don't give
to day today, boy, I gotta get kissed off my chest.
Dunk here today from Monday, August twenty first goes to
t Terke Saint Patrick. Let me tell you something. This
is how I know Power is a great show because
I am emotionally invested in a lot of these characters.
(52:12):
It's three people I want to see die on Power
right now, in no particular order except number one it's
Tasha Dre and number one to That's a whole another
story for a whole another day. But she gotta go
to No, she is not just his fake, not even
(52:32):
close now turned her back on her husband's talking about
that now. I absolutely hate that little boy, Terreq, privileged
little negro who doesn't have to do any of the
things he is doing or done, cut in school, drinking, lean,
setting people up to get robbed. Meanwhile, his parents are
rich and he was a straight eight student. I hate
(52:52):
to Reach's face. Last week he got a woman shot
and killed because he set her up to get robbed
by a guy named Brains and some other guy. And
they told his dumb ass, as soon as we come
in the house, you should leave, all right, just bounce.
But Tariq bumbass doesn't leave and comes up to stairs.
When he comes up to stairs, one of the guys
that sexually assaulting the woman, and Tariq green ass yells out,
(53:14):
Brains tell him stop, let's hear it him, stop, please?
You got her killed. Tarik. I'm not the highest grade
of weed in the dispensary, but if two people are
wearing masks during an armed robbery, you should not yell
out one of the person's names. So of course they
had to kill the woman. Now, when they killed the woman,
Tark does what he does best, which is fleet the
(53:36):
scene out. Tarike nicknames should actually be Fleet because that's
what he does best, fleet the scene. But it's that
scene which is causing me to give to Ark donkeya today.
See the dirty cop ray Ray. You know he's connected
to all of this. So he meets up for Brains
and the other guy and he wants to kill Tarik too,
just to make sure there is nobody that can implicate him,
(53:58):
So he ends up killing brains and other guy and
Tere swear he's a gee, so he promises not the towel,
but listen to him on the phone talking to Ray
rays Cousin. Not keep in mind Ray rays Cousin was
Tere's first piece of ass. So you know, yo, when
listen to this sucker, were you scaring shoot that lady?
I don't know what you're chucking about. How are you lying?
(54:20):
At least not only club? Because I thought she's gonna
being a chreen, You're gonna coming out. I'm supposed to
be a girl, so he's supposed to tell me things.
But if I gotta go, No, I adn't catched the body. No,
I wasn't scaring brands did that? I'm not SKay. I
want to hear more, but I got a gentleman. I
can't he bitched out for a bitch, You pitched out
for a bit. You confess to a whole murder for
(54:42):
some ass and some lean on the phone, confeased to
a murder because his first piece of poom poom got
him gassed up? How green is Terek Beam? Is? He?
Is he green lantern? Green green goblin green green light
means gold green, is he Sophie green, jolly green, giant green?
The green around soldier boys neck for wearing fake je
green like bro Now, to make a long story longer,
(55:03):
Ray Ray the cricket cop pulls up on Trek at
their school dance to kill him. This is after pulling
up on Treka at his school, but he wasn't dead,
but they let him talk to Tariq's sister, rain A Rainer.
Raina tells Tarik that ray Ray came looking for him
and to retells Raina not to say anything, and Raina,
being the loyal sister she is, didn't say anything, but
it ultimately cost her because when ray Ray pulled up
(55:24):
on Trek at the school and Tarik does what he
does best fleet damnc, Rainer decides to come outside following
her brother being all protective, and this happens. One major
(55:52):
spoilerler Man major major spoiler definitely rains Dad, rain and
his dead ladies and get if you're not following me.
Last night on Power Terik got his sister killed. Yes,
his sister rain And is dead ladies and gentlemen, ghosts
and Tasha's oldest daughter. They said death comes in threes.
(56:12):
This weekend we lost the legendary did Gregory, Jerry Lewis
and Rain and Saint Patrick not Terik is getting donkey
of today because what pissed me off about this scene
after I watched it again was ter looks like the
baby from that old show Dinosaurs. He looks just like
him in the face. And when Brains and that other
guy was in the house and Teri came upstairs, he
(56:34):
saw this random woman he didn't know about to be
sexually assaulted and he lost it. He got upset and screamed.
But when it comes to your sister, you're fleshing blood.
You sit there and watch a man who just tried
to kill you confront your sister, and you just hide.
You don't yell, you don't not then you don't whistle.
(56:56):
Why you didn't hop out and say Ray Ray stop, TERC.
I don't even know you and I hate you. You
are staying a fake of phony, a fan, a complete winster.
And because you want to run the streets when you
don't have to rain it is dead. Please give to
read Saint Patrick the biggest he all police notice a
fictional character, right and do you do know that you
(57:16):
know this for the rest of his life, sins against
the sins. It's not real. It's not real. Sure you
came in here this morning talking about some dragon getting killed. Yes,
that's real. And you don't know how that's gonna be
game changing, the fact that now the white walker's got
a dragon going against the good people. All white people walking,
(57:36):
you know what getting I don't know why white people
walking his news deal, sir? You know people walking with
a dragon. Okay, that sounds about right. White people been
walking with dragon since the beginning of time and dragging
your ass too from the back of trucks. See whatever. Yeah,
all right, well that was a donkey fictional and all. Now, yes,
(58:00):
we gotta shoot your shot next. Now, if you want
to shoot your shot you can call us up right now.
Maybe you are feeling a co worker, maybe you like
your neighbor, maybe he's somebody you work with. It doesn't matter.
Eight hundred five eight five one oh five one. Shoot
your shot is next. It's the breakfast Club going. It's
(58:21):
time to shoot your shot. To shoot your shot with
the Breakfast Club, just one chance. Don't mess it up,
mess it up, mess it up, mess it up rock
shooing it up and what god, how y'all doing? All right?
It shoot your shot time now? Tell us who you
want to shoot your shot with? Bro, Yeah, I want
to shoot a shot with this girl. Chris though, Okay,
come on, I need you to calm down. You sound
like you're needing a lot of puk this morning. My brother,
(58:42):
Why are you so? Why are you so amped about this? Well? Man,
like we were high school friends okay, okay, and friends
as in, like just cool with each other. Our friends,
like yeah, messed around, were just cool with either. We
just would with each other. We didn't mess around or nothing.
But you never smelled the bobblem na Na, not at all.
(59:04):
But she had this huge crush on me back in
the day. How you know. Well, I mean like she
was always wanting to spend time with being Like she
would be gossiping to her her girlfriends and stuff, and
they would go and tell me so I'd be in
the know. But I just couldn't do it at the time. Man,
he was scared to make a move at the time.
(59:25):
I understand that. I was just telling my homegirls the
other day, like men are very naive, So sometimes women
have to make the move on us or we will
never get the clue. WHOA I would have, but she
was too big man, Like she went two hundred eighty
five pounds. I was like, whoa, whoa? What she was?
(59:46):
How much? Two five pounds? Oh? So now that she'd
un lost weight and glowed up and unlocked that hidden
character inside of her, now you want to get with her?
Now you want to? Oh? N? Now, Yeah, she ain't
got no time for you, my brother. I'm gonna be
honest with you. Yeah, that's kind of I don't like
your type, bro, man. I used to I used to
encourage her though back in the day. I did encourage
(01:00:09):
her to lose weight. There you go, But that don't
mean you wanted to be with her. Who I know
what she's saying, man, But did you provide her any
cheat cold to help her unlock that hidden video game
character inside her? Huh? Did you? Yeah? Yeah, that's she's
been one of those blocks, you know what I mean?
And all that. Well, you know, but okay, I'm not
gonna fall to him if he wasn't physically attracted to her.
(01:00:29):
That's what can you do right now? You are? But
now now she might just be like nah, so that's
just the risk that you have to take. When she
had backfat you didn't want him. Now that she asked, Kenny,
you all on, I don't know about you, bro a whoa, Well,
let's let's let's not We're gonna keep it try to
help you. We're gonna keep it quiet while you talk
to her and caught her up, and we're gonna jump
(01:00:50):
in and try to help you out. How much way
did she lost? By the way, what we're dealing with, man,
I don't know, but I'm telling you, man, she looked like, uh,
you know Bernice Burgos, right, do we no Burnee Burgos? Yes,
no evidence. So that's with those kind of questions. My brother, Okay,
that's going to Bernie's instagram every day. Me and my
wife enjoy Burney's Instagram together. Ever so yeah, now I
(01:01:13):
don't know that. What's Crystal's instagram? So go see if
you're making false equivalences. Here, hold on. When we come back,
we're gonna call Crystal. Don't move. It's a breakfast club.
Good morning. That's right, we're back. We're in the middle
of shoots. You shot rasseul Is on the line, and
he's gonna call Crystal. Well, let's dollar upt. Hello Hey Crystal,
(01:01:40):
Hey what up? Um? How you been? How you been?
I'm doing okay, how are you good? Good? Good? I
see you at the gym looking off for finance. What's
the up? I really did answer, like you know, chop
it up. Yeah, yeah, I just wanted to catch up
with you and uh, you know, I know we've been
friends for a long time and all this stuff, but
uh I think, uh, I think we need to catch
(01:02:02):
up some time and uh, you know, maybe go out
for some drinks or something. Um, yeah that sounds fun.
I'm sure there's a lot of stuff to catch up on.
Um what you've been up to all? You know. I
just I just been chilling and stuff. I've been, uh
you know, I've been going to the gym a little bit.
But uh, I see you've been doing it a lot.
Like damn, you look so good now, thank you. I
(01:02:27):
work really hard actually, you know a lot of people
were real cruel to me. We're in high school, and
it just I use it as motivation. Yeah, yeah, that's
what you gotta do. I see, I see you got
those blasting and everything now, huh yeah, you know, I
mean it was easy once you get started it. I
(01:02:48):
mean it wasn't easy. It was hard, but um now
I really love working out and I feel great. You
know it's healthy trying to live be out here in
the streets and house fun. You know. I I Well,
since you all healthy, now it's time for us to
play a little balancing. I can go out him get
queler or something. I know that's your favorite shot. Right
oh now you want to take her out? Hun right
(01:03:09):
now you want to take her out? Hi? Christo, how
are you? I'm doing? Okay ware to Breakfast Club dj
en vi Agelie Charlomagne to God. This is a segment
we do called shoot Your shot is just like boring
me to death right now? Yeah, Russell has a crush. Yeah,
he has a little crush on you, and he wants
to ask you how. He said, you guys went to
(01:03:30):
school together and you gload up and now he's interested.
You guys want to catch up. People wants to smash up.
I need to record the show though that he said, Um,
you know, he know you had a crush on him
in high school, but you was fat then he didn't
want it. He didn't want nothing to do with you
when he was fat, we're supposed to help you said that.
You said people used to teach you in school, right,
(01:03:51):
who said he wasn't one of those people. What's his
boy named Russell? He said Roe? Who said he wasn't
one of those people. Yes, so he lied as encouraging
you to lose weight and stuff. Yeah, if you call like,
I mean, he's smelting me so hard. I mean every
side joke in the book. I mean, they had a
nickname for me. It was Crunchy Crystal because always had
(01:04:16):
snacks and they were just like, I mean, it was terrible.
Always he made it seemed like he was the one
that was encouraging you, and y'all was cool, So why
would you go Nah, why would you want to go
out with him? Then? I feel like he was only
nice to me because I was smarter and he used
to me helpless classes. Probably was. Most fat women are smart,
I mean, very very intelligent. I'm being honest with you.
(01:04:36):
Everything never forgets questions. I'm sure that was a hard
time for you. I'm sure that was a hard time
for you in school though, I mean, you know kids,
I mean, but you know life is hard. So it
just made me a little bit tougher and smarter, and
you know, once you get yourself together and whatever it
is seeming, nah, I'm a time for fool. Did you
have any surgery done? Are you lost all your weight? Naturally?
(01:04:58):
Russell not messing your whole It shown just hit the
drym rod. So whould you go out with right to Crystal?
That's the main question, because he didn't. It seemed like
the cat got He just want you because you're like
Burney's burgos. Now he didn't want you when you was
right back then, they didn't want me. Now they know
you know, when you had back fat, they didn't want you.
(01:05:18):
Now that you shape they all. I mean, I mean, really,
you're right, Like, I can't I don't think I could
look at him that way because I know like he's
so he's mean. I don't like he looks like he
might need to be hitting the gym a little bit.
(01:05:38):
Get your get back, Crystal, get your get back, falling
fat back jokes, get him. I nobody had I don't
have that many hands to be lifting up bullies and
all that. Man. Come on, now, maybe when you when
you work from that little little dad body that you
have kids, we can contid you got a dad body
(01:05:58):
and no kids. Yeah, how you got a damn You
can't get Burnie's Burgers when you got a damn body? Right,
I mean, so here's what number you can call, and
when you're ready, then maybe we could think about it
her life. Oh Rose, that's right. You did not help
her unlock that hidden video game character inside of her,
(01:06:21):
so you will not partake in that video game character
inside of her. Okay, Russell, my bye bo, Well you
get today, bro, Thanks for Colin. All right, just shot
one time for Crystal, drop on club for Crystal Davin.
See what happens when you get in shape. See what
happens when you when you when you become an after picture.
(01:06:45):
All right, Well we got rumors on the way. Don't
move this to breakfast club the morning. Alright, alright, alright,
I don't I don't really care if you cry. Already,
(01:07:13):

(01:07:36):
our day or right of slash down and you want

watch the way I stack at my best, A way
to the top, all the way toward be falling. Yo.

she looked. She said, baby, I am not afraid of
push each other. All my friends just push each other,
allus reach other, all my friends other morning. Everybody is
(01:09:39):
DJ Envy Angela, Yee Charlomagne, that God. We are the
Breakfast Club. Yeah, we got rumors on the way. Yes,
we are going to be talking about jay Z and
this rapper radar interview that he did. We've been breaking
it down every single rumor report, and this time we'll
be talking about what happened with jay Z versus Kanye
and jay Z versus Solange. All right, we'll get into
(01:09:59):
all that. We come back. Keep a lot just to
Breakfast Club. Good morning, Morning. Everybody is d j Envy Angela,
Yee Charlomagne, the God. We are the Breakfast Club. I
can't find these solars. We're trying to figure out where
he can get these solars and told you where to
get him and go to the movie there and say, Yo,
the same three D glasses y'all used for the three
D movies, get those for the same I'm gonna end
up going blind with that. Everybody. People gonna end up
(01:10:21):
going by because they're gonna be looking at the solar
clips to their phone and they think that the phone's
not going to affect them phone like glass. It's there,
I'm not I'm not looking directly at it. That's when
warning everybody again, if you are going to be watching
the solar eclipse today, make sure you have the proper
glasses on or you could potentially go blind or have
vision problems. They said, you'll look at it, your vision
(01:10:42):
don't get blurry, and at that time you won't know
if it's permanent damage or temporary. Yes, all right, well
let's get to the room, Muscle. I'm sending the interns there.
She could find something. All right, let's get to the room.
Miss let's talk, hope. This is the Rum Report with
Angela our morning. We've been giving you clips from jay
(01:11:05):
Z's interview with rap Radar, so we got to talk
about what happened with jay Z and Clange on that elevator.
Jay Z didn't get two in depth on exactly what
went down, but here's what he said. We've always had
a great relationship, you know what I'm saying. Just so
it happened to who we are. These things gone to
a different space. But it ain't nothing. We never we've
had one disagreement ever before and after we've been cooled.
(01:11:30):
My sister period. It was a great follow up question
too when Elliott Jay, what do you think about people
who say three great albums came out of that elevator fight?
And Jay said, well, we walked into that elevator as
great artist. We'll be fine. Yes, all right. Well you
also talked about Kanye. What happened to cause this fallout
between jay Z and Kanye. There's been a lot of speculation.
(01:11:52):
Here's what Jay said. It's not even about Kanye, it
really isn't. It's just his name is there. The whole
point is you got hurt because this guy was talking
about you on the stage. But what really hurt me.
You can't bring my kids into my wife into it.
We've gotten passed bigger issues, but you brought my family
into now that's a problem with me. But you know
(01:12:13):
that he crossed the line. I know he knows because
we've never let this much space go between one about disagreements,
and we've had many. I hope you have been doing
his bush ups sound like sound like we want to
give him a couple of little faces like face sounds
like a big brother, the little brother face. I don't
think till get the pepper spray nothing, just a little
(01:12:33):
gloves on, so maybe a little pepper put the gloves on.
This is getting the ring. Let's just work. I'm sure
that's this guy. Though. This might get a little peper spray.
Let's work all right now, Mystical is a wanted man.
He's back in the headlines for an alleged rape. Oh
you can't have two rape charges in your lifetime, three
point police for his alleged involvement in a rape that
occurred last October. DNA evidence recovered at the scene possibly
(01:12:55):
implicates Mystical and a woman. They are actually charging each
of them with one count of first degree rate. Bond
was set at two million dollars each and mister Gool
went to jail for rape right then. He do six
years for rape. Back in two thousand and three, he
played guilty to sexual battery and extortion and he went
to prison and he was released seven years later in
two thousand and ten. If your name should not be
(01:13:16):
no way near any of the sexual assaults or rapes
ever again for the rest of your life. The fact
that you're even implicated in that, are being charged with
that is disgusting. That's all bad. You should be round
nothing that even wrong with rape. All right, cape nothing
exhibiting a little bit of a public disagreement. Now, somebody
(01:13:37):
tweeted out breakfast club sucks, but stous p was on
their breaking down her black fatherhood and the psychological effects
attency dads have on kids and mento. Now here is
stous take something real quick. I noticed people like that
their go to line breakfast club sucks. But you're always
watching our stuff. That's good that I find interesting. Thanks
for listening, Thank you, and thanks for watching. But here
(01:13:57):
is what happened with stous Pee on the breakfast club.
If you had stepparents or step pops, or you your
fathers out your household or something, you know the pain,
so to see how grow up without that? There's so
much laps in the in the hood alone of black
fathers and black men. Or we have children early with
people we shouldn't have children with, and then we just
think it was the wrong person. So you step off.
(01:14:19):
And then you got a lot of dudes who think,
let me just bust this, get this to kid. I
ain't really love to share clembie doo. That's uncool because
then you got a bunch of paint sit in some
way everybody wants to have a biological connection. Well, his
son said, I can relate on so many level, Exhibit son,
I can relate on so many levels. Man, thank you
for speaking about this styles pe and Exhibit responded, no,
(01:14:40):
and word, I wasn't absent. Your mother used you as
a food stamp till child support ran out. Stop blaming
me for your bs Foh now what h here's the thing,
hit dog will always hollow. Okay, if I would never
even know that was exhibit son, if Exhibit hadn't replied
like that the dude, the dude didn't say exhibits name,
and didn't they add exhibit or nothing and say that
what happened to me? I can relate, right, let him relate.
(01:15:04):
And if it is a mother's part, while you blaming
the sun, hit dog, wahalla, all right, And Chance the
rapper is the youngest person Unfortune's forty under forty lists
forty of the most influential young people in business. Congratulations
to him. He's always doing great things. And if you're
down to watch this, Mayweather versus McGregor, fright, that's happening
this weekend. By the way, if y'all are excited for that.
(01:15:24):
Be careful. Law enforcement agencies are cracking down on a
legal prostitution and human trafficking in Vegas. I warned your
friend before, Charlotta Mayne, when we went to Vegas. If
a woman comes up and starts talking to you and
just being friendly, it means she, most likely in Vegas
is a prostitute, because that doesn't just happen. No one's
gonna just come up, start a conversation, sit down and
have a drink. Because then later on he tried to
bring her back to the room, Oh to charge to
(01:15:47):
the yeah, and she tried to charge. She tried to
go to that mini ball. And when she tried to
go to that mini ball, he was like whoa, whoa, whoa,
what you're doing? And she was like, I got a
drink and this is gonna be three five, three seventy five. Yes,
all right, so be careful if you're going out there.
I mane, that's somebody just like you because you look good.
(01:16:08):
He thought he was zealous. Okay, maybe not down not
in Vegas, buddy. All right, well, all right when we
come back, the People's choice makes let me know what
you want to hear at DJ envy and ask promise
I'm gonna get some missy on in the mix this morning.
All right, we talked about how they wanted to take
a statue down and put a statue of Missy Elliott up.
So let's get some missy on. It's a breakfast look
of morning
