(00:22):
the guy, the ruler, rubbing you the wrong way. The
breakfast clubs made for everybody. Good morning Usa yoji yo
yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo
(00:42):
yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo
yo yo yo yo yoo yo yo yo yo yo.
Good morning Angela. Ye, Charlomagne the guy. Peace to the
planet is Friday, Oh yes Friday, and dropping a clue's
bomb for two poc damn it today would have been
two pocks forty six born day in Allies on Me
his bio picks in Thetis today. Okay, you cannot say
(01:04):
you're up the culture and you are not rapping tupact
in some way, shape or form to day, or you're
not gonna go see the movie this weekend. You have to.
Some people saw it already at midnight yesterday because they
started showing it in theaters already, So if you did
see it, just hit us up on Twitter. I would
love to hear what people have to say so far. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
I won't get a chance to see it till next week.
(01:24):
They're saying it's sold out everywhere. Angelie and I are
in Boston tonight for Boston Summer Jam, so I'll get
to see it probably Monday, Tuesday. I bought my tickets
for Sunday because they sold out till Sunday. Yeah. So
I go to a nice Mattene a day to be
me and a few white people and they're watching the Tupact.
I thought about that, white people, but you know what,
I know what you were thinking, and this is not
a flaws in the area we live, they're gonna have
(01:45):
the movie and it's not too many black people to
see the movie, so you could just see it at
twelve o'clock with a bunch of but white people love
Pockets And I checked the movie there that's in that area,
and they sold out as well. During the Mattename. Yeah,
during the Mattena Yes, during the mat Na too, I checked. Really, yes,
I don't believe that, but that's good news. By the way,
it is. I hope the movie does very, very well.
(02:06):
I actually bought my tickets last week, and last week
I couldn't find any tickets at all until Sunday nights.
I mean, I think it's really important that this movie
does well for the culture because I mean, we want
to see more biopicks. Absolutely, I want to see Luke's biopic.
I still want to see all. We can't do it
Wu Tang biopick. We need a we need a Wu
Tang Netflix series or something a few seasons that you say,
(02:27):
that's that's long, that's like, we need we need a
that's a thing thing. Absolutely, I can't be one two
hour movie. I believe they have something in the works,
as they should, and they should do a Quentin Tarantino
if they know what I know. Dope, dope, dope. And
then this morning during the mix, we're gonna do a
TUPOC mix, So let me know your favorite POC joints
to start up. Start hitting me right now, because if
I got to clean them up, I got to clean
them up starting now. So whatever your favorite POC joining is,
(02:49):
we're gonna get on during the mix a little bit
later and shout out to Mayno. He actually brought out
all the tickets in the theater in the city. Maybe
you should call Mano. You could go at him. Mayos
in the movie movie Yeah, maybe a lot of pop
trans tell me they hate Maine on now and I'm like,
you know, it's a movie, right, you know what that means.
He did a great job. He's active, but it's a
movie now now, DJ Caallet movie joining. iHeart Radio Zone,
(03:12):
DJ Kallett, DJ Calli will be joining us. Nobody got
more stock and I Heeart than DJ Khalid. Okay, yes,
Calli will be joining us in a little bit. But
right now, what we got not only that college debut
on the record, college debut in the Rihanna Bryson until
the record, we actually got a little earlier. We're gonna
get that on in like sixty seconds. Oh, it's about you, guys,
are gonna let it. I went to the listening session.
So can we tease some pot page news before you play?
(03:34):
You so hypen it come down. Yes, I'm gonna give
you an update on the Georgia itmates. We told you
two inmates escaped and actually killed two guards. Will tell
you what happened with them. I mean the rate, the
records already on the internet. I'm no, I don't think no,
this is the way. I haven't checked no blogs yet. Well,
it's the world promaire. We'll say that anyway. All right.
This is Kalid Rihanna from it for Radio Bryce Untila.
It's Wild Thoughts. It's the Breakfast Cloak. I'm on a
(03:56):
new callot. Let's go m v angela Ye Charlemagne the
God we are there fis Club. That was worldwide exclusive
world premiere Kalid Rihanna Bryson. I will admit that record
is okay. I like it. I'm not mad at that
at all, he said. But I thought the record was
about thoughts. I thought they were saying wild thoughts. But
he's saying wild thoughts, like thoughts, like thinking. Right, Yes, okay,
(04:18):
I thought it was about women for some reason, for
whatever reason, on the while I was thinking it was
about wild thoughts. Okay, Yeah, it's okay record. I'm not
mad at that. Oh, let's get into front page news now.
Lebron James has cut his hair off and he has
a season. If you haven't seen Lord Have Mercy he
cut his give a round of applause when when your
hand line starts from the middle of the skull and
you're walking around looking like RoboCop with his mask off.
(04:40):
You just gotta shave it all off, bro, like get
rid of it? Who can? And so many people have
that issue, so and they all just shave the head.
Ball have to maintain the currents, keeping nice and loaf.
I'm holding on, bro. You can't have stubble. You gotta
maintain the ball that you are constantly making sure smoothing.
I get two or three shaves a week, okay. I
(05:00):
keep make sure I got a fresh body. Because my
greatest feel is getting you know, arrested, and that mugshot
come out and you in the middle of having the
little hair sitting on your head. I ain't got time
for that. I know what my hairline looked like. I
know my limitations in life. I've accepted my faith. Good.
Let's talk about the escape Georgia inmates. Right. We told
you earlier about the two Georgia inmates who were on
the run. They shot and killed two prison guards. They
(05:22):
don't know how they managed to get at the prison guards.
They were in the They were actually being transported from
one place to another and they managed to get into
that cage. Compartment where the security guards were. Well, Donnie Rowe,
who was forty three, and Ricky Debos who's twenty four,
were arrested. They were in Christiana, Tennessee. They received the
police received the call of an elderly couple being held
(05:42):
captive by the fugitives during a home invasion. So this
was particularly dangerous because they clearly have nothing to lose.
They had killed two guards already. They were obviously very
desperate and very dangerous. Agencies were offering one hundred and
thirty thousand dollars for help in finding them. So fortunately
now they have been found. Okay, now that's talk about
(06:04):
what is third gender ID? I was confused with this story. Well,
in Oregon they are now the first day to offer
a third option on official IDs. So if you're not
a male, you don't identify as female, now you can
have a third option. And that option is they not specified.
They that's what you call they. I keep telling Ky
(06:26):
gonna get in trouble zone. Ky gonna get in trouble
zone because he can keep telling people that he hate
they and not realizing what's going on out here in
the screech. All right, well, it is not specified it's
not they, but that's for their gender. So that's gonna
be on the not specified. Okay, all right, so that
new rule is going to take effect on qualifications for
not specified. It's just how you identify yourself. So if
(06:49):
you don't identify as a man, you don't identify as
a woman, you're just not specific. I'm gonna be an
X men bro, I'm tired. I want to be a mutant.
I'm a mutant. I'm in human. From now on, I'm essence,
everybody can identify as what they want. I'm I'm a mutant,
I'm in human. But I wonder how that works though,
because you know, just let's say, in life insurance, right,
women get a cheaper rate than men. So what is
(07:09):
the other box? Well, this is just for your state idea,
like for your license, your driver permits, and be raised
as a good question. If we're gonna be technical with
it all across the board, we gotta be technically as
across the board. I'm just curious. All I know is
from now on, I am a mutant, all right, my mutant.
I am a human. Okay, okay, I am a superhero
(07:30):
and I want to be referred to as such I'm
not identified to as a superhero, there will be consequences
and repercussions. Okay, okay. If you don't want a bunch
of X men downstairs protesting, then I suggest that you
address me as a mutant from now on, Mutt. All right,
Well that's front page news. Now get it off your chest.
Eight n five eight five one oh five one. If
you're upset you need to vinc callus right now. Or
(07:52):
maybe you feel blessed and you want to spread some positivity,
whatever it may be. Phone lines are wide open. We'll
put your live on an air eight hundred five eight
five one oh five one, and DJ Callett will be
joining us next hour. Right, it's the Breakfast Loco morning,
the Breakfast Club. This is your time to get it
off your chest. Whether you're mad from you on the
(08:14):
Breakfast Club, but you got something on your mind. Have
a good morning, good morning. How are you? I'm good.
You're from West Palm Beach. Now you mad this morning
about a front page news story? I am? I mean
you know we're we have the option now on your license.
You know, if you don't know what you are, If
you don't know what you are, how are we supposed
to know. Well, I guess. I guess that's why they
(08:36):
got other I guess no, non specified, bro. I mean,
if you're born with one body part, that's what you
are until you change it. If you don't change it,
I mean, come on, people, there's so many other things
to be worried about. Then that doesn't really affect me
in any way. Whatever people want to do, if that's
how they want to identify themselves, up to them, it
doesn't affect me either. But I do agree with you.
(08:56):
I agree with you because, like I don't want to
just be able to identify as a woman if I'm
a man, what I need to do is take that
extra step and cut my penis off. That's showing commitment.
That show commitment, you know what I mean it is,
that's a real commitment. You are committing to the fullest.
If you can commit to that, I have no problem
calling you what you want me to tell? Yeah, and
(09:16):
it's gracious, Kay Barnes, Hey, how are you doing, Sharlom? Hey,
Kentucky's in the building. She wants to be a mutant too. Bro.
There you go, yes, yes, yes, I was just calling
to agree with you. Charlotte. Mine I am a mutant. Also,
not because I want to trancify something on driver's life.
It's just for the simple fact of being different. That's it.
(09:38):
I'll completely told my husband the whole time I always
been married. Honey, I'm a Mutan's interesting I am. I
am trans Wolverine. I identify as a mutant. Call me translogan. Okay,
all right, Chris, what part of call are you calling from?
Chris Inglewood? Man, you blessed this morning? Tell us why
(10:00):
I'm blessed because I'm off today and I got paid
and I get to see my baby girl graduate from
elementary school to Julie High. Congratulations, bro, enjoy it man.
They grow so fast, get so big man, listen, you
know it's so funny. I literally told my wife yesterday,
I go, yo, come, my older daughter will be nine
in a couple of weeks. I'm like, is it just me?
Or is she Asian? Like? She look like she looked.
(10:22):
I looked at her yesterday and I'm like, Yo, she
looked older. Yeah, I know her birthdays in a couple
of weeks, but no, she looks older. They grow like
it's weird. It's hell. Absolutely absolutely, get it off your
chests eight hundred and five eight five one on five one.
If you're upset, you need to vin call us now,
or if you feel blessed, it's up. It's the Brekfast
Club the morning. It is your time to get it
(10:44):
off your chest, whether you're man or blessed, So you
better have the same indutry we want to hear from
you on the Breakfast Club. Jeff, come Onrning, what's up? Man?
What's up? Jeff from Tennessee. I just bought a dog
from Tennessee, Jeff Man, I've just got a dog. Oh man,
I'm just calling know why I'm blessing because I'm twenty one. Well,
I'm twenty two years old now, okay, got it. I
(11:05):
just think I just got in the Trump driving school,
and I Fredy's been driving trucks for about a year
now and you know, got married and all that. And
then I also want to see you guys. Why I've
been mad fool because I'm staying Memphis and it's been
like crazy stuff going on. Man, what's going on the
Memphis We We actually were syndicated in Memphis. Right now,
(11:26):
come morning, everybody out in Memphis. Yes, who's everybody that
listens to us in Memphis nine man appreciate it, But
a two year old got shot by this, like twenty
one year old kids, and I've just been like man,
everybody around my age room just going out killing everybody
and it's just going crazy. Yeah that's crazy. Hey, you're
only twenty two. He just turned onto you sound like
(11:47):
a forty seven year old man who's been divorced at
least twice. You got four kids that you really get
to see because the baby's almost be tripping. You know,
I don't have any kids, man, Believe it or not,
I don't have any kids, got you. I'm just just chilling.
But I'm also mad too because of it's some crazy
something going around and Jackson, if you can look it up,
I might admit guy about you know they're talking about somebody. Yeah,
(12:11):
the guy, the guy who got his head cut off,
he got beheaded. I read about that. They beheaded and
beheaded and put it on the porch. So why are
you mad? Why am I mad? Quarters out here? Were
you mad at you? Woman? Because she squirts? Oh no,
I'm talking about some bits on sixth Streets that I pulled.
Not well, you mad? They squirt? What you say squirters.
(12:32):
What you say? All right? So I got on and
I got a little quarter that I brought back to
my car. And she doesn't spider webs all over my car.
That prostitution. You know you paid for prostitute. No, no,
it protude. She got me. I'm gonna be honest with you, bro.
If it's your woman or your wife or your man
(12:53):
girl and she's she squirts, and that's exactly what she did.
She squirted. If it's just some random chick, she pete
all in your car. Bro, Sorry, bro, you got your called,
got pet out of it. Hey, Charlotte Mane, I heard you.
I know that's true. But I mean that's a terrible
little food gazing body. You know what I'm talking about? God? Yeah, God,
bless all you brothers. That's all. By taking it read
this early in this morning, you know what saying? Still
(13:15):
on a high from your pills from last night. Who
all the drug addicts that listen to the Breakfast Club,
we appreciate you, man, get it off your chest. Eight
hundred five eight five one on five one. If you're
upset or if you're bless you could call us at
any time. We got rumors on the way. Yes, let's
celebrate alongside jay Z. Will tell you what hallmark He's
made history yet again. Okay, we'll get into all that
when we come back. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning listen,
(13:37):
just oh Gossum reports. It's the Rum Report, the Breakfast Club. Well,
jay Z has made history yet again. He was the
first rapper ever inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
That's big, huge Now Title has put out a commemorative
(13:58):
page with quotes from different artists basically shouting him out. Okay,
you can hear on j three thousand. He said jay
Z's contribution to music as a writer is pivotal. You
can hear his wit and hustle, stylings and the backbones
of some of the biggest, unrespected artists of today. Scarface
also left a message. He said he's got to be
the best songwriter of all time because he writes everything
(14:19):
in his head without the use of a pen or
an iPhone. My guy Ja Electronica also showed love. He
said jay Z is now right where he belongs. Rick
Ross called him an unadulterated genius and the Frank Sinatra
of his time, and the fact that he goes wrote
for so many people too. Sure that's dot Carter Well.
Jay Z in celebration actually went on Twitter to thank people.
(14:42):
He said, thank you to all the people that have
inspired me, Rock Him, Kane, Krs, Chuck, Cube, Jazz, m Andre,
Na's Big Pac Cole, Kendrick Chance. He's not going to
do everybody, Jay, Electronica, Laura, Niki Light, Latifa, Comen, Yae, Drake,
Meet Run Katz, Lu Chains, Cam Tip, both of them,
fair Faced Daylight, Iced t, g rap Mail, Corrupt, lox
(15:03):
x at q Ab, bluepe Most, Foxy, Boss, Ross, Quavo, Future, Travis,
too many fis all of you. He said, t Grizzly
song best out, and he said red Man goes to
Ray Wu Tang. Then he said, I beat Genius in
a rap battle. I think huh bust him to Tretch
Thug be a rapper two and just a lot of
different things. He said he's new on this, and he
(15:25):
said he is going to actually delete the app in
the morning. And when he was talking about Genius, he
was talking about the jis from the Woutang Clan kids,
not the website rap Genius shout out slow the house.
I seen him shout out Joe Button. He shout out
a lot of people. I actually the first time I
ever interviewed jay Z as serious. We talked about his
battle with Jizza with Genius, and in perspective, it wasn't
(15:46):
just Jizer, it was jis A and ODB and rap battle.
And you know this is how you know jay Z's older, right, Jase.
He put a drop box drop box link on TWI Okay,
there's nobody from Rock Nation, no interns or nothing that
could have opened that dropbox form the video of Barack
and uploaded it to his Twitter for him. He put
the whole drop box links. The whole drop is what
(16:06):
Barack Obama had to say to jay Z. I like
to think mister Carter and I understand each other. Nobody
who met us as younger men would have expected us
to be where we are today. We know what it's
like not to have a father around, we know what
it's like not to come from much, and to know
people who didn't get the same breaks that we did.
And so we try to prop open those doors of
opportunities so that it's a little easier for those who
(16:29):
come up behind us to succeed as well. And Let's
face it, we both have wives who are significantly more
popular than we are. That's true. Listen, man, I don't
see how you can't root for Jay z Well Coras,
even if you don't like him. His music is something
he got to inspire you in some way, shape or
for him for something. A black man is accomplished, the
(16:49):
things that Sean Cotton is accomplished. Come continue to accomplish.
Come on. I enjoyed the fact that he was actually
tweeting and he didn't really seem to know where he was.
He put a drop box link that tells you all
you need to know about his social media skills. But
it's good to know he's not great at everything everything. Okay,
(17:09):
all right, now let's discuss Vanessa sat in the editor
in chief of Double XL. She was up here and
she was talking about the freshman class cover. People could
be ruin. And this has definitely ignited some controversy and
some discussions because she talked about why Famous Deck did
not make the cover. Here's what she said. So basically,
Famous didn't make it because of that video of him
beating up to go. I guess if you want to,
(17:31):
I mean, I guess if you want to put it
that way. Listen. You can argue all the way. You
can say Excess that issues, and you can say that
Famous Dex has issued. I think the difference with Famous
Dex having on camera created this situation. All right, Well,
a lot of people weren't happy about that, and in
particular Famous Decks wasn't happy. I thought they was cool,
but he went and posted this. That's why I didn't
(17:51):
make double ex sale because that video of my girl,
that lady right there, now, you're too disrespectful. She just
had my son. Can you talking about you, fat bitch?
Go up? You gonna listen sec congratulations in that interview. Bitch, hey, listen, listen,
(18:12):
young boy, You're not gonna beat up a woman on
video and expect good things to happen. Ain't gonna be
no sponsorships coming your way. People probably not gonna put
you on the cover of magazines. And you can't beat
up a woman and then scream on another woman and
call her a fat bitch, Okay, And it does not
matter that that young lady that you beat up just
had your baby. That has nothing to do with the
(18:33):
perception that these corporations have with you, sir, It's great
that your baby mama forgave you, but these corporations aren't
going on anything to do with you. I got it
different addressed pleasure. How about deal three? Talking speaking like that,
how about deal the reality of the situation and understand
if you beat up a woman on video? Yeah nine times,
(18:53):
I'll attend you're cutting off all your corporate relationships without
even knowing it. All right, well I'm Angela yet and
that is your rumor report. All right, thank you, miss
Ye this morning, everybody, it's DJ Envy Angela Yee, Charlamine
the guy. We are the breakfast club. We got a
special guest in the building, the proudest father in all
of the world. What of Yeah, yeah, it's not. It's not.
(19:14):
I think Calla maybe number one at this moment. Shout
out to all the fathers and mothers. My first father's
day would be the sent What is doing for you?
He's already doing so much, man, you know, shot is
my biggest blessing. Um. You know, you know, like Envy
and other people, UM, that father's always told when you
(19:37):
have a child's gonna change your life. And it really did.
What I'm saying, Uh, it's my biggest blessing. But it
also gave me a just a new energy. And it's
not about me. It's about my son. Everything's about my son.
Everything's about my family, which it always is about the family.
But it's just a different feeling because you know, you
really think you know what love and joy is. I said,
you love something, or you fall in love with something,
(19:59):
even when you fall in love with your girl or whatever,
and you're just so excited. But there's no love like
your son or your daughter or your child. It's a
different type of joy. It's a different type of feeling,
and I love it, Like I don't know how to
explain that. The world he is, he smiles every morning.
He's just a good boy man. You know what I'm saying, Like,
(20:20):
he's just good and that's what I'm doing. I'm I'm
like putting so much love and joy into him and
feed him greatness so when he gets older, he'll know
the difference of love and it's something negative, so he'll
know that's wrong. Yeah, I'm saying, that's why you see.
You know, like every if you're playing with his basketball
and go to the game, he knows I love and
he's saying, have you experienced something else. He'll know that
(20:42):
ain't right without even trying to tell him. You just
know because it's a feeling. And I think that's a
great way to raise your children. It makes you love
your your your significant other more too, because now you
really know what love is. Somebody told me that a
long time ago. If you love your significant other way
you love your kids, you really in love. And that's true,
because you know so. Of course I love my coin.
But you know, I told her the other day I
didn't think I could love her anymore. It's like I
(21:04):
love her even more and more and she looks even
more beautiful and beautiful. Um, and this is the truth.
I'm not even making this up. I really told her this.
And then when I see her with my son, because
you know, it's a lot of work, you gotta you know,
that's that's every second day, you know, especially being a mother.
You know what I'm saying, and watching her feed my son,
change changes diapers, wake up four in the morning, two
(21:25):
in the morning, six in the morning, eight in the morning.
You know what I'm saying, that's working. When I see
that and I'm around that, I'm like, man, it's really
doing something. To my heart. So I look at her
and I praised her as well. So big up to
all the mothers out there, and drink the breast milk. Yeah,
not me, but you know what I have to. You know,
it's crazy because the other day I had like a
(21:45):
cold and I was like, man, I don't want to
get my son sick. You know what I'm saying, because
you know, when we get cold at all age, it's
like last like two three weeks sometimes, Like you know
what I'm saying. So I'm like, y'all don't want to
know you've been taking vitamin fiet. No I'm talking about
you know, I go are no sleep. It kicks in
so um. You know. On my Sonday little check up,
(22:06):
I was like telling her Doty had a call. I
don't win him again. He's like, listen, your son is
the most healthiest. He trains breast smoke every day. He
got the he vited him. He's got all. He's more
stronger than all of us. So it's just dope. Yeah,
brestmilk is a key, though. Just take a shot. And
didn't he didn't. Right after she got every freezer frozen
(22:27):
in the house filled with breast milk trusting everywhere we
permitted to enjoy it with re re embracing tilling and
how that song coming about. There was a record that
we all loved, and I presented the record of Rihanna
and she loved it. And the minute she cut the vocals,
she was like, yo, kyo, shoot the video. So I'm like,
let's go on the same page. You know, I wanted
to ask, but I don't like to abuse my love.
I want to get you know, each step done. And
(22:49):
that just shows you how big and how big the
record is and how exciting the record is. That we
shot the video before it even came out, and I'm
just excited about it because I've been trying to work
with Rihanna for like seven years. You were saying for me,
that pulled us off. You know, I want y'all remember
this is my tenth album. Um this is my son's
first album as an executive producer and it's my tenth,
So I'm pulling off you know, people I've always dreamed
(23:12):
to work with, like Beyonce I worked with, I never
worked with it before Rihanna. You know what I'm saying,
I'm working on at least you know what I'm saying
like I got I got two number one songs. I'm
I'm the one one number one out the Gate and
one week Shining went number one, And um, you know
I'm saying, I just dropped the Drake record a week
ago to the mask I will when we go number one.
(23:33):
I'm just Rihanna, were about the premiere right now, going
to go number one? And then the album come out
June twenty third. You I'm saying, so, I didn't make
no album cuts, like I didn't make not one album cut.
I made all anthems, and I made twenty three tracks.
The album come out June twenty third, the track US
it has twenty three tracks. My son, my son was
(23:55):
born on October twenty three, so the twenty three. And
then you have to Jordan, Jordan, you know what I'm saying.
So and this is a three year ever. You know
these are threes. This ain't no regular deglar do we
the best Jordan shot of the CARDI b what she
got that I've been looking. I've been looking at my man.
(24:24):
I haven't got money, you know, so we're gonna get
you so so, um, you know, obviously I got mines.
You know what I'm saying, I got like three four
pairs of the sample and then they're all coming in
now and then we have a big announcement connected because
this announcement, you know, I'm saying, I'm gonna let Jordan
enjoy it, but it's gonna be more to this. And
I'm just excited, man, you know, me as a sneakerhead,
(24:45):
me loving Jordan and the being part of the Jordan
brand family is such a big accomplishment for me. But
also this to let the young world know that, you know,
you know, dreams turn into reality, I'm saying, and like,
you know, I remember, you know, wearing these as a
kid and having the post and Jordan, Now I got
my own shorty, I'm saying, so like you know, this
is part of you know, this, this whole album, this
(25:06):
whole campaign. Grateful. It's just me saying thank you to
all my relationships, my fans, but as well as my
son and God. Like this is my thank you to
the world. So I'm making this album like major Key
got nominated for a Grammy, which was huge for me,
and I feel like grateful we're gonna win that Grammy.
That's where I'm at with this. What I'm saying, all right,
we got more with Callip when we come back, we
(25:27):
got to talk Rick Ross a little bit, Birdman and
Moster keep it locks this to Breakfast Club, Good morning morning.
Everybody is DJ N v Angela, Yee, Charlomagne the guy.
We are the Breakfast Club callots in the building. You
know what I wanted to ask A couple of days ago,
Rick Ross released the videos Idols Become Rivals? Yes, what
did you think when you first heard the song? I mean,
you know, Ross is my brother's like gay one. That's family.
Me and him come from the bottom the mud to
(25:51):
marble Floyd. So when he's shouting me out on that record,
that's what you call a real friend. Family loves me
and I love him back. And I think you know
when he was expressing um shouting me out, he's basically
expressing man Collage, A hard worker. You know what I mean.
He a good person. He a grateful person everybody's ever
dealt with. He's always been good and he never complained.
(26:12):
And I think y'all know me as a person. Y'all
never hear ever heard me coming talking about people and
stuff like that. He's basically saying, yokla, you bless and
keep winning and don't stop. That's what he's saying. Well,
what did Birdman do to you? Well, Burdman, that's my fund.
I want to be clear what I'm saying Birdman. All
that is is, you know, at one point I just
moved on with we the best I'm saying, and I
(26:34):
got number love for Berdman Slim. What they gave me
an opportunity, even like, for instance, I appreciate every opportunity
that's ever given to me. It doesn't matter what happens
through the opportunity, it's an opportunity, even if it didn't
work out. Yeah, yeah, it's it's an opportunity, and I'm
grateful for that. And then you got to remember too,
you know Birdman and Slim, they you know, have an
(26:55):
album coming out. They cleared all my records. What I'm saying, like,
you know, they don't have to do these things saying.
So I have love for that too. And at the
same time, I have to respect the legacy of what
they've done for the coaching hip hop from day one.
So you know, at the end of the day is
you know, I pray and I wish that everybody could
come together and work things out and at the game,
I even know that Ross Ross, and I don't. I
(27:17):
don't feel like he's saying something like he's trying to
be like negative. It's not. You know, Ross is a
big brother and that's what Ross is to me. He's
a big brother and that's one of my best friends.
But at the same time as he's also somebody besides
DJ Khalett. People go to Ross for advice and just
you know what I'm saying, big brother love and that's
(27:37):
what Ross is. You know what I'm saying. So you know,
at the end of the day is I got love
for everybody, and I love Ross, and I love Bird,
I love Slim, and I love everybody meaning as in
man and I. You know, I hope that all that
stuff gets fixed one day if there is a problem,
you know, so simply you just didn't get paid from
cash who First of all, I don't I don't discuss business.
But at the end of the day, is me and
(27:58):
them are good. You know what I'm saying. And you
know me, I'm not the type person to putting no
negative energy out there in your life. I'm too blessed. Yeah,
I'm too. I'm too blessing, not just me. I think
we're all blessed. I'm saying again, I'm not the guy
that complains. I'm a guy that keeps going on to
move forward. I think I've shown that throughout my whole career.
I've seen a picture of you in Atlanta with fifty
(28:19):
cent Yeah, how did that come about? Well? I was
in UM. I wanted to go support Jada, kiss Locks,
Styles P and Chic in a conscient Atlanta, and I
was actually um. I wanted to go see Jay and
two to have a one on one with him about
getting him on Grateful album. And by the way, his
verse Ungrateful was crazy. But the fact that you still
do that says a lot about you people. Just for
(28:41):
a verse. Man, I tell kids all the time, you
have to have a DJ Khalid level any thing done, Guys,
it's the only way it's gonna get yea, Like every
it's the only way I gotta I gotta go. I
had to go into the mudd of all mudds. I
was backstage first. I didn't realize you walked in and um,
you when you walk in, you just get everybody and
(29:02):
I left up and we just everybody, please stop doing
what you know, that's that's this guy is crazy love this.
I never met a man can't wait to find something,
(29:25):
you know what I mean. Anyways, Um, you know basicall
it was this, Uh he came in and said, what's
something everybody and you know, you know Wenn side and
kept it moving again. I always told you you was
saying that, Um, I ain't got no problem with nobody,
even if they got a problem with me. I'm not that.
I'm not out here trying to say I'm gangster this
(29:45):
and not not Noah, I'm just a guy I respect
and you know, I can't say what's uthing everybody. And
at the end of the day is you know, I
just kept the moving. I like, we talked. It's not
like we had a meeting or nothing like that. It's
just what's up with everybody in the picture. What happened was, um,
they were taking a picture and Jada Kiss like, well,
you got a big year to come, come getting this picture, man,
come getting this picture. And I'm like say no to
(30:07):
Jady Kiss. My friends my friend act like I'm some
Hollywood guy or I'm a getting the picture. So you
know that's that's that's what it was. And at the
end of the day is you know you guys didn't
have a conversation. No, we have a non conversation, not
like that, but but we But like I said, y'all
because you were walking to place, I'm not worried somebody's
gonna try to do something because it's not that, you
know what I mean, Like I'm not, I'm not about that.
(30:29):
You don't put that energy out there. I never had,
you know what I'm saying. But that don't mean y'all
gonna work together and do music. That doesn't mean none
of that. You know what I'm saying. What I'm saying
at the end of the day, that's I answer the question,
what happened, how it went down? Now? How much equity
do you own an I Heeart? Because every time a
callid record drops, I Heeart pushes the button. Scharmon loves
that question. You can't get mad because it's really big records.
(30:56):
That's what That's what I'm drink and that's what I
respect because you know that's exactly what it is when
you get them type of love. It's about making moments
and events and I've been blessed to put out big
anthems and I'm so excited that our heart always supports,
not just on radio level, but I'm talking about you
know what I'm saying. I just got them doing the
big Pool Party, performed and it was real cool because
(31:19):
it was like more I guess on the pop side,
the Pool Party, which I feel like it was big
for me to see my career growing different angles as
well as its every opportunity to perform for people and
the fans and the listeners. You know, That's what I
care about, and I appreciate them giving me the opportunity
to do it, to be an artist, to be able
to perform and in front of all these thousands of people,
(31:41):
and you know, our heart to me, it's not only
just radio. I feel like they're becoming a brand where
it's like a household, like almost how the Grammys and
and you know, the BT Awards and mt VMA's like
they're becoming that brand, you know what I'm saying. And
I'm just happy to be a part of it. Man.
You know what I'm saying. I appreciate it. I'm grateful.
All Right, we got more with DJ Callid when we
(32:01):
come back. Matter of fact, let's get into a Callid
mini mix. Let me know your favorite callid joint right now,
it's the breakfast Club. Good Morning, next Morning. Everybody is
DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the
breakfast Club callids in the building. Now, what is there
left for you to do that you haven't done that
you want to accomplish. My goal is to be a billionaire.
You know what I'm saying. You know, a billion Yeah, Billy,
(32:22):
you know what I'm saying. And then you know I
want to make sure my son and my family secure
and I know it takes hard work backt the same
time as the i't want to have fun doing it right,
and I want to love it. I don't want to
do nothing I don't love. You know what I'm saying,
And that's why I come up here. And if it's
from this jority, obviously you know how much I love
this host about a million pigs. What I'm saying, Fat
Joe gotta be a little envious. It's like, Nah, Joe chist,
(32:48):
Joe crackt um. Matter of fact, Joe Crocks one of
the guys in the game from from day one that
really you know is a secret so um, but you
know I'm not gonna lie the three though. But now
because I can't believe it. You know what I'm saying,
I hit you up, I watch I want to see today.
(33:11):
He even he made a movie with it. Um, shout
the up n NYC. Make sure you'll support that. Um.
But yeah, I want to do more things and Champs right,
I got my own Champ Sports story and um in
my studio. What Yeah, it's crazy. I can't believe it.
I bring the studio and then I walked the artists
like go come check this out and open people can
(33:32):
really buy stuff. They fill it up with all the
latest stuff. Um, and we just you know, it's all
my size and ever it's crazy. I don't I can't
believe it. Somebody works ody worked there. Um well, every
when we do events, they bring a staff. You know,
it's open twenty four hours because it's my studio. But
we do like dope events and pop ups and you know,
(33:54):
um interviews and sometimes artists take over even when I'm
not there. So it's like experience at we the best
studios with chance, you know what I mean? Now that's dope.
You still don't fly, I see it's not don't fly.
So the flying thing might happen soon, Emily, because my
son flies, and he flies private. I see, that's why
I gotta work hard. Um, that sounds like I only fly, No,
(34:14):
So when he's flying, I feel like I'm flying because
I'm still stressed out, like when I'm on the air,
like nervous. So if I'm feeling the same way on
the ground, I'm like, you know why I m so,
it's it's getting close and then my my queen and
they're putting that pressure on me, and then you know,
I see my son smiling. I'm like, damn, I gotta
I see it's about to happen. So I think I'm
gonna jump on one of them jests with him. I
(34:35):
can't wait. Well, you gotta let us know where you
take your first place that will be We're gonna we're
gonna have to make that a big deal movie. My
biggest fear as a dad is like, it's gonna be
harder to let him go to school, Like you know,
I don't know because I can't somebody play with my son.
I'm I'm not a problem with that, like you're saying.
So I'm like saying, now he's going to public school,
(34:57):
and day. No, I know about I think I'm thinking
about thinking about buying like the whole neighborhood in different
neighborhoods a school where it's like a homeschool, but I
pay for everybody and then so I can just pick
an energy why not? Why not when they got to
(35:18):
be around you know what? I know. I'm so in
love with myself. I'm trying to figure out like the neighborhood.
Not I know, my son gonna be good because he
being raised right what I'm saying, I've really been having
them conversations like saying, Okay, you know how you have
homeschool because you want your son to be with other children,
you know, got they gotta vibe, not just us. They
(35:39):
gotta vibe. So I'm like, okay, cool me, let me
pay for twenty kids homeschool, but we'll make it in
an area and we'll make our own school to be
like DJ called elementary. Yeah, something like that. Twenty students,
let's do it, like you know, why not just move
to calabations like everybody else. Well, I'm you know, I'm
in my hands. Miami. Miami's my home. I did buy
um I house out there too in La and I'm
(36:02):
actually looking at a home and um in New York.
I used to have a condo in New York. I
want to buy homes and everywhere that I go a
lot that I love. I want to buy some on
the island. That's what I'm doing with my money right now. Now,
you're concerned about the phrase to day, right, yeah, yeah,
stay away from there? Okay? Do you know that the
transgender community is using the word day now, that's how
they refer to themselves. And I worry about you because
(36:23):
you always tell people to stay away from there. Yeah,
and the transgenders refer to themselves to day. I don't
want to be a culture class. I didn't know that
transgenders in the front room, you like, stay away from
day A big headline up. Yeah, I don't know nothing
about that. You know, when I say day meanings like
you know, um, I guess I don't like use the
word hater. Yeah, I just it just sounds like, Hey,
(36:45):
it just doesn't sound right, you know what I mean.
I don't like we need to That's what I mean.
I actually never knew nothing about that, but you know
what I mean, Just I know what you mean negative? Negative.
I just don't wanted to be a coaching class. No
cows in these different rooms. Now we got love for everybody.
They're saying. Now you mentioned something earlier, you said you
didn't want to abuse your love with Rihanna. I always
wonder when does Kaled know when to quick because you
(37:08):
are you, You're persisted about things you want mini as
in when I say stuff like that, like it's steps.
Basically I never um entertain or ask for certain things.
I didn't feel like it was supposed to happen, or
it should happen, or we should make history together. Because
if the record is a successful why not success? Oh man,
(37:31):
we got a chance before the VMAs. Why not ask
if the record successful? It's the energy is good and
for a chance. That was his first number one record
off Oh yeah, me chance, Just to be requevo it
was it was. I put a lot of number one
records in my life, but that's my first number one
hot one hundred Billboard. You know that's a different type
of number one. I've always dreamt for one of those
(37:53):
number ones, and we did it, and we planned to
do it again with this re rerecord. You know what
I'm saying, Guy, will it Why why din't you promote
your book the way you promote everything else. I did,
I went, I went hard on my book. My book run.
We did Um, I did a bunch of TV. Actually,
my book did Go was on New York Times Bestseller Listen.
I was saying, the book, actually the book, I want
to do another one. I know. Congratulations on your book, Um,
(38:14):
on the New York Times bestseller right seven. That's big.
And I've been watching you on social media with all
the inner stores, and that's what it's about. You have
to when you put books out, you have to show up.
What I'm saying. I show up for the fans, signed
autographs and so they know it's real. And at the
same time as at a work. You know what I'm saying, UM,
and my book, I don't know if you had a
chance to read it. I really loved my book, and
(38:36):
the fans that got it really loved the book. And
it's inspired me to write another one. You know what
I'm saying. I really like it. I think it's good
for my portfolio, what I'm saying. And just to be
on the New York Times best seller lists that was
a big accomplishment for me too. And at that time
with Major Key in the book called The Keys. It
was just really good feeling. But we appreciate you for
joining us and stopping through Chance in his studio. Right. Yeah,
(39:00):
he's gonna buy a school right just for a side.
He's doing it. He's gonna start flying again. That's right,
we're working on it. Afford to jet now, that's what
it's really all out here. What June twenty third, great fool,
Go get my album. You know what I'm saying. It's
my biggest album ever, my tenth album, exactly produced by
(39:21):
my son. You know what, It's crazy. It really it's
your tenth album, but it feels like it's your second.
I feel like you gotta know. That's what I'm trying
to tell you. I've got to happen on my tenth
in my ninth album, because imagine if I would have
got the Hot one hundred number one on my first album,
it would be too hard you know later. So the
success right now, when people see, like, man, he deserve it.
(39:41):
He put in that work, he's doing this thing. He's consistent.
That's what I wanted. What I'm saying was the build up,
and I'm excited and and look at it. I'm on
number ten. I'm a father now what I'm saying, and
I'm making great music and I'm not stopping here. You
go all right? Well, if DJ Kalik, it's the Breakfast Club,
good morning, the first club hunting everybody in's DJ Envy,
(40:05):
Angela Yee, Charlomagne the God we are the Breakfast Club.
Good morning, It's a Friday. Let's get to the rumors.
Let's talk Carucha. This is the rumal report with Angela
ye Well. Carucha managed to get a five year restraining
(40:26):
order against Chris Brown. She took the standing yesterday in
her restraining order case against him. She said uh that
she broke up with Chris Brown. He demanded diamond and
rings that he brought for her to be returned. When
she refused, that's when he became aggressive. Now. She said
that in text messages between them, he would say things like,
I'm not being nice to you no more. If I
see you out in public again and I'm there, I
(40:46):
will make you hate me even more. Don't be anywhere
I'm out in public. I'm going to ban you from
all events. She also says that he texted her, I
can get my money back and I'm tired of playing games. Bitch.
I will beat the ish out of you, and I
promise you I will make your life hell. She also
said he once wrote I'm gonna kill blood under a
photo of her and Michael B. Jordan. So she said that.
(41:06):
She also said that Chris Brown had beaten her before
as well, and that's what it is that the judge
did give her a five year restraining order. She said
she does fair for her safety and she needs permanent protection.
Chris Brown did not show up in court and the
judge would not let him join the hearing via phone.
All right, well that's your update on what's happening. Okay,
(41:29):
I'm glad you said her name right? What I say
her name? I did? Yes, I was sneezing. I didn't
say he was actually sneezing. I did I say zoom take?
Did really? Yes? He said he said her name right
by accident. I didn't say nope. I didn't say Kawasaki nope.
Now Chris Brown hasn't commented on any of this. The
last post that I saw him put up on Instagram
(41:49):
was a song him and Jeneicho. He said about to
f the summer up and there you go. So how
we know someone's not a girl? No, he's talking to
He played her music Do be a fool Man, geddie?
All right? Doctor Dre has donated ten million dollars to
the construction of a performing arts center for Compton. The
Compton Unified School District made that announcement yesterday. They're going
(42:12):
to have creative resources and a twelve hundred seat theater,
and he said, my goal is to provide kids with
the kind of tools and learning they deserve. The Performing
Arts Center will be a place for young people to
be creative in a way that will help further their
education and positively define their future. That's awesome. Ten million
dollars to make a school in Compton. That's going to
be incredible, something to be proud of, all right. Cameron
(42:37):
is planning to release a thriller, a movie, and two
albums this year. So he recently spoke with Noisy and
he said it's going to be reminiscent of the movie
Unfaithful by the way. I love that movie, he said,
but with a once you Go Black, you Never Go
Back twist. So it centers around a married white woman
who rents her guesthouse to a black man, and he said,
(42:57):
we're going to put out a movie with the album
and keep putting movies after that to instead of shooting
nine ten eleven videos, what we're doing is writing the
script that sounds like a great portal, great storyline for
a point. A white woman that rents her a guesthouse
to a black man. What happens next? H What happens
when the black man runs out of toilet tissue and
has to go to the house to get toilet tissue
(43:18):
from the white woman. Why can't you go to the store.
What's wrong with you? Man? Your mind is demented? Many Yeah,
Young Doug has put out easy Breezy Beautiful Thugger Girls
this new album and Breezy thugg What easy Breezy Beautiful
Thugger Girls EBBTG. So when you see that hashtag, you
(43:39):
know what that stays. That's good. That's a good title
for some of my album. Girls walking around into some
dress sun dresses and no pant these little light breeze
going up under there right Well, it has a it's
a singing album, by the way. Okay, so if you
want to hear a little snippet, we have some for
you right here here. Is some of young thugs, easy breezy,
beautiful thugger girls. She got a camic toll. I call
(44:03):
of you. What I'm saying starts at you them. She
didn't need a chance to get my mama. She missed out,
O mama. She missed out on me and my mama.
I want to get yeah, man, they called my goal
to fly wasn't supplies. And by the way, it's executive
(44:27):
produced by Dray. Yeah. I think that song is good.
I think it's I think it's for people who check
um non specified on their licenses. It's male female non specified.
I played one more snipp before you. Here's another song
from Young Doug's new album, Let's pull it up. There
we Go Swim. Were jammed on me and my squad
(44:51):
when you were prison your daughter job. I ain't like
you don't know who we are? Hello? You know? She
sugo slow Buddy green like callafuge this d D. I'm
thinking over your girl. I don't having more keys. I
(45:12):
personally I feel at all. I personally really like young
thugs voice. I'm not gonna lie to you. I think
you're trying a picture of young thugs, and I think
young thugs voice sounds like an instrument instrument on records
like it sounds like it's an instrument that's part of
like the production of the record personally. All right, well,
we'll get more into albums that are out because two
(45:33):
Chains also has an album, but we'll talk about that
in the next hour as well, because I'm excited for
pretty girls like track music. But that is your rumor reports.
It's time. But donkey of the Day, I'm a Democrat,
so being don't be of the day a little bit
of a mix like a don't the day. Now I've
(45:59):
been called on my twenty three years that donkey of
the day is a new wife. Yeah, dunkey today for Friday,
June sixteenth, what would have been two forty six born day.
It's also the day two PACs biopic All Eyes on
Me is in theaters. So today is a big day
for the culture and today's dunkey today is for cultural
purposes only. Okaysey, it's a woman name Elizabeth Banks. You
(46:21):
may or may not know her. I didn't know her,
but the only Banks I acknowledge as well as far
ago one United and the family that consisted of Uncle
Phil Will Carlton, Ashley Hillary and the Duck Skin on
viv now quickly. Elizabeth Banks is an actress director. She's
been in the Spider Man trilogy. She was in that
trash ass movie called Sea Biscuit. Don't debate me on
Sea Biscuit being trash. Okay, I've never seen it, but
(46:43):
horse racing is trash, and if horse racing is trash,
then a movie about horse racing has to be trash.
It was okay, Oh stop it. She was in The
forty year Old Virgin. She was in Hunger Games, and
she directed Pitch Perfect too. She did a lot more
than that, but those are just a few things on
her resume. I wanted to run through just to paint
the picture. Now. She's not a new jack in Hollywood. Okay,
she's forty three years old. She'd been around, and you know,
(47:04):
one of the principles principles in my book is give
people to credit they deserve for being stupid, including yourself.
So basically what I'm saying is to know it all
knows nothing, None of us know everything. But when you're
forty three and in certain worlds, is just certain things
you should know. Okay. Elizabeth Banks is forty three years old.
She's an actress director, so she should know about certain things,
(47:26):
especially in the film world, but she doesn't. Elizabeth Banks
was accepting the Woman in Film Crystal Award for Excellence
on Wednesday at the Beverly Hilton Hotel and doing her
acceptance speech, she decided, though, a shot at Steven Spielberg.
You heard of Stephen Spielberg, right, Angela, Yeah, you're at
Steven Spielberg, right, Envy. Okay, he's done a few films
in The Jurassic Park Et, Indiana Jones, the Color Purple.
(47:50):
You know, I mean, He's no Tyler Perry, but he's
popping right. He's got stupid out of this well. Elizabeth
Banks tried to call Steven Spielberg out, and I wish
we had the audio, but we don't. Couldn't find it anywhere,
but I was reading the transcript. Basically, Elizabeth Banks was saying, transcript,
you know what I mean. Elizabeth Banks was lamenting the
(48:11):
state of Hollywood movies that focus on telling woman's story.
So she said, I went to Indiana Jones and Jaws
and every every keyword every movie Steven Spielberg ever made.
And by the way, he's never made a movie with
a female lead. Sorry, Stephen, I don't mean to call
you out, but it's true. Now it's okay to be wrong.
(48:32):
Well it's not okay when you get the correct information
and still choose to be consciously wrong, because, according to
the rap, an audience member attempted to counter Elizabeth banks
claim in the moment, she said, no, Elizabeth Spielberg did
The Color Purple, which stars a woman you may know
called Whoopie Goldberg. Okay, last time I checked, Whoopee was
(48:53):
a female and she was the star of that movie,
which made her the lead. Therefore, she is a female lead,
which makes Elizabeth Banks wrong and makes her slander of
Steven Spielberg null and void. But when she was corrected,
Elizabeth Banks just kept her speech moving. In fact, Elizabeth
responded to the interjection to get clarification on whether or
not Spielberg actually directed The Color Purple. Some other idiot
(49:13):
in the audience said he didn't, but the reality is
he did. Okay. Now, I'm not in Hollywood. I'm not
an actor or director, but even I know Steven Spielberg
directed Color Purple, and I know that will Be Goldberg
started that movie. The color Purple is iconic and because
it's iconic. Social media absolutely destroyed Elizabeth Benks yesterday, forcing
her to apologize. So she said she messed up, she
(49:35):
framed her comments about Spielberg's films inaccurately. She takes full
responsibility for what she said, and she's sorry. She wasn't
trying to dismiss the iconic color purple. Blah blah blah.
She ends up by saying, those who have the privilege
in honor of directing and producing films should be held
accountable for all mistakes, whether it's about diversity or inaccurate statements.
(49:55):
I'm very sorry. End quote. Now, this is one of
those moments where I totally understand when black women say
they feel invisible. Okay, the Color Purple, a movie that
made ninety three million dollars domestically and was nominated for
eleven Oys. Because you don't remember Steven Spielberg made that film.
You said you watched every movie Steven Spielberg ever eye.
You can remember the movie that started aliens, the movie
(50:16):
that started dinosaurs, but you can't remember the movie that
started black women. I'm not making this a race thing.
I'm just saying when black women say they feel invisible,
This is pretty good evidence. I just don't understand how
someone in Hollywood can ever forget about the color purple
when discussing anything Steven Spielberg related. It's like talking about
the great Michael Jordan moments and saying Michael Jordan never
played sick just forgetting about the flu game. Like, there's
(50:38):
certain moments in Color Purple that if you can't quote verbatim,
I don't trust you. Like listen, I want you as
you're hearing this, I guarantee you're gonna be saying this
to yourself in the car if you have a certain
age until you do ripe by me. Everything you think,
think about, it's gonna cruimball to do it missing, don't
trade places what I come on, see go to the car.
(51:03):
Who you think you is? You can't curse nobody. You're black,
you're poor, your other, you're a woman, nothing at all
for me. Everything you think that's gonna sail? Oh? Man,
come on, man, drop on the clue bumps for that man.
(51:24):
Those are bars. Okay, how can you not quote this?
Who don't remember this? Oh? My life? I had to fight.
I had to fight my my daddy, I had to
fight my uncle's I had to fight my brothers. Come on, now,
that's the color of purple. Damn it, Elizabeth Banks, you
gotta get it together. I'm glad you apologize, but you
(51:45):
need to get on your knees and pray for repentance
because it's not what you do that don't know me. Listen,
everything you even think about, one more time. I need
a little bit Banks to understand what I'm saying. Okay,
play it again. The color purple, everything you even think about. Listen, man,
(52:06):
it's not what you don't know that makes you stupid.
It's what you're not willing to learn. Don't die culturally clueless.
Please give Elizabeth Banks the biggest heat hall even a
big hell. I was gonna give it a sweet sounds
in the Hamletones, but you can't be forty three years old,
an actress and a director in Hollywood and say that
you've seen every movie Steven Spielberg ever made, but you
(52:27):
just conveniently forgot about the color purple. Now you gotta
get a big heat off of that one. All right, Well,
thank you for that. Donkey a day. Let's switch kids.
The weekend is hell, Yes it is. Yes, Angelie and
I are heading out to Boston today for Boston Summer Jam.
It's also Father's Day this Sunday. Yes it is. Is
also out very good weekend for the culture. Today's Tupac's
Born Day. I was driving into work this morning right now,
(52:50):
I was listening to Sissor album I Love Scissors album Control,
and I was listening to the record The Weekend, and
it got me to thinking. But because in that record
Scissor admits that she's just the weekend girls. You know,
this guy has a main girl that he's with during
the weeks, so she's just the weekend girls. I was like,
is there really weekend girls out there? Now? That's funny
because I did a whole entire playlist on title based
(53:10):
off of that song The Weekend by Scissor, And in
that playlist it's a whole lot of songs that you
might not have realized was about women who are weekend
schicks and men too. Let's play a snippet of sissor
weekend joint I heard Tuesday and Wednesday, Thosday and Friday.
I just keep him satisfied token you. I'm all right,
(53:37):
So we want to ask if there's any weekend females
out there. Listen guys too, because there's a lot of
boyfriend number twos out there to have no problem. We
ain't trying to get you to blow up nobody's spot.
You don't gotta say no names. We just want to
know if you are a weekend girl and why you
choose to be that. That's all. You can even remain
anonymous if you want, all right, we can open up
the phone line eight hundred five eight five one oh
five one. Or your weekend girl or a weekend guy
(54:00):
or a weekend guy. You just get it in on
Friday and Saturday and return him Sunday. I guess that's
is that what we're saying. Why are you smiling? I
don't expect I expect that from guys. I expect that
from guy. That's nothing for guys. Let's get the girls.
I'm more intriguing, all right, Well eighty one oh five
ones morning, everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlomagne, the guy,
(54:21):
we all the breakfast club. Now we're talking about being
a weekend individual. Now explaining to the people what that
means or this is this is coming out of says
as song on the Control album Amazing Album by the
way and you know on the song says it just
missed being a weekend girl. She said that she just
she knows this guy has a girl that he's with
during the weekest man girl, and she's the wekend girl.
Matter of fact, play a snippet of it Tuesday and Wednesday,
(54:48):
Thusday and Friday. I just keep him satisfa you the
fuck I'm again. So it got me to thinking this morning.
And I mean, I know that its side checks, but
it is is it actual women that just consider themselves
weekend girls like you only check in on Friday, Saturday
and Sunday. But let's ask to me because Timika is
(55:09):
on the line from Brooklyn. Timka, you a weekend girl.
You've become telling me as so we can grow up.
But I have another title as that. What's the title
a weekend girl? But I will let you know a
lot of people knows some one of things to our relationship.
They guys want to casual relationship. And if I mean
to die, he said, he have a feaking out, all right.
Sometimes I don't tell what's something fun. If he's wanting
(55:31):
to do that, I'm want them to do it. As
long as we know our all we know, we said
it's no problem. By the way, I just would like
to say that my wife loves says the album, and
she hates that song, right, and so when because you know,
I'm a heary no listening to this, says the album
all weeks ago. He likes his album, right, and she's like, yeah,
it's dope. She's like, I only like, it's only one
song I don't like. And I'm like, what song? She said,
weekend girl. That's what I said, weekend nothing because I knew.
(55:55):
I knew he had nothing to do with the signings
to the record, had nothing to do with the record sounded.
But you trigger you are a weekend girl. You just
don't want to call yourself that. No, I don't want
to call out on a weekend girl. Well, casual data.
I'm a casual data. Casual casual data. Okay, my goodness,
whatever makes you feel better. But we have Miss Anonymous
on the line. Good morning, Miss Anonymous, good morning. Now
(56:18):
you are a weekend girl to a married man. YEA,
explain the situation. I'd rather be a weekend girl. I
don't gotta wash clothes clean and I get to go
home and get down. You have furt of all, my
wife ain't got to watch clothes either. You don't want to? Okay? Wow,
well now everybody, you know, God money to do all that. Everybody,
(56:40):
I don't gotta clog, I don't gotta clean, I don't
gotta do worry about it. You just got you just
get the benefits of getting down. So she just like
you like being the weekend and go out. Yeah, I'd
rather be a weekend girl. I'm what I like. Are
you you pissing off all the wives and all the
man girls this morning? I'm telling you, I mean every
known I would not let you men, don't you they are?
(57:05):
I'm sure you cheat before before word before I've learned
from the errors of my way. I don't know what negativity.
She was pupid. I just had to hang up on her.
Let's go to Tyler six. Tyler Yo, your weekend girl, man,
I mean a weekend guy. Yeah, weekend guy. Yeah? So
who check you knocking down? Bro? Noah, it's all good.
(57:27):
I'm with that. You know she got a man, but uh,
I'm the weekend guy. Yeah. Guess what, They're gonna have
your funeral on the weekend to that man? Catch you
his boyfriend? Ready? He did what he didn't do anything.
Now you're gonna step up as the main man. Uh nah,
(57:50):
I'm still rocking. Yeah, I can't wait till you catch
He's gonna catch you, bro. I can't wait till you
get what's coming to you, good lady. So what five
eighty five one O five one? Are you a weekend individual?
Maybe you're smashing somebody's chick a dude on the weekend?
Call us up, call us now, it's the breakfast up.
Good morning. We are the breakfast club. Now if he
just joined us, we're talking. Are you the weekend person? Yes?
(58:13):
I was coming from Sisters song. Let's play a stipp
it of this weekend. Tell people exactly where it's coming from.
Tuesday and Wednesday, Tuesday and Fiday. I just keep him
satisfied by the way. I love Scissors album Control. My
(58:38):
wife was listening to the album. She loves the album,
and I asked us, said you like Siss's albums. She
was like, yeah, it's really dope. It's only one song
I don't like. I knew it was coming, you knew it.
I said, what song? She said, the weekend. That's when
I just backed up out of the bathroom. You now
at Homer Simpson backed into the bushes, I get backed
up out of the bathroom. Okay, I get it, totally
understand why you don't like that record. It's a trigger,
(59:00):
you know what I mean. You hate to know that
women out there exist, women like that exists out here
in this world. But they're there, they're around, so we
wanted to hear from them this morning. Okay, well, let's
go to the phone lines. Hello, who's this? Can I
say an homent? Okay? You just got out of jail.
Huh while like a couple of months ago, and now
what happened? Why why are you the weekend chick? Because
(59:20):
I'm just trying to like get my life back together.
I was there for like two years, and I don't
really have time or like the emotional capacity for a
committed relationship. But I thought, why are you settling? Noble?
I don't think I'm settling. I'm just getting my niece, man.
And then when I'm ready to commit to something that
I will, all you women say that. But then after
(59:43):
while y'all want to be the main chick. That's the
other part that the other part of says this album
that y'all y'all don't catch the fact that it is
a point that she wants to be the main girl. Well,
I think the guy kind of lies to everybody, so
she didn't even know. Yeah, probably right. So I don't
have it's like one I have, like one is the
male and one is the female. Hell and I just
(01:00:05):
I just you place. Hello, who's this? It's your board,
doctor Brown? See man, doctor Brown? What's up? Bro? There
ain't nothing, man, you already know. Man, I'll call my
stuff absolutely. I'm a weekend guy. Monday to Friday. We
already gone through enough talent headache. I don't I don't
want nobody from Monday to Friday giving me an extra headache.
(01:00:27):
So on the weekend I can use your due your
lose you monday morning, I don't know you. So do
you have a man girl during the weekend? No? No, no, no,
And you not a weekend guy. A weekend guy has
a main girl during the week and you and you're
dealing with that means that means you're seven days got
a week? You're guying if you have a main girl
(01:00:49):
five five days got a week. No, I'm explaining this wrong.
I'm explaining this wrong. Does you the girl you went
on the weekend have a man guy? Oh yeah, he's
a weekend guy. He's a weekend guy. You are weekend guy.
But that's the way to beat Yeah. What do you
do on holidays and stuff when you're all alone? Oh no,
I can never be alone. Got too much family for that.
(01:01:09):
And then what you would do when he finds out
and I'm looking for your I mean, it's all good
to be a weekend guy till you get shot on
a Friday. We can't be No, we rebuke that right there. Back,
let's take a worry about that. Let's take one more
weekend girl. You're any girls on the line. I don't
care about these weekends. Hello, Hey, what's your name? Um?
(01:01:31):
Anonymous Sarah, Sarah, fake everything, Sarah, weekend your weekend girl, Sarah. No,
but my boyfriend so weekend boyfriends? Oh so he got
a wife or a main girl during the week I mean,
acts like it. What did the benefit? What did the
(01:01:53):
benefits of having a weekend guy? Um? Because I'm like
busy during the week so I feel like I can
only had any of my guy friends on the weekend.
So you have a couple. Oh okay, sorry, I'm gonna
(01:02:16):
tell you something. You may be a weekend girl. With
you a week old. What I'm saying sound like a
weekly home boo boo. All right, but that's going to
the slut walk this year. What's that exact? No, you
(01:02:37):
don't need to don't worry about google it. You need
to be there. Stop it. What's the story, mother? The
story is. If you are going to be the weekend girl.
I just want you to know, don't be a side
chick catching main chick feelings, because that's what happens after.
Why you don't just want weekends, You're gonna want the
week next thing. You know, you're gonna want holidays, and
ain't nobody got to help that? All right? Now? We
got rumors all the way. Yes, for everybody concerned about
(01:02:59):
whether or not ConA McGregor is going to end up
kicking Floyd Mayweather when they fight on August twenty six,
we'll tell you what's in the contract to prevent that
from happening. There you go. Now they're thinking, all right, well,
we'll get into all that when we come back. Keep
it locked. The breakfast club in the morning. The breakfast
club it's about, is the rumor report angela ye found
(01:03:26):
the breakfast club. Well. Yesterday, the jurors and Bill Cosby's
sex assault trial remain deadlocked for yet another day. In
Bill Cosby is asking for the just to declare a mistrial.
What yeah, So we don't know what's going to happen.
And I guess they still haven't figured out what they
want to do with Bill Cosby. I don't know if
he is that a good sign. Now this is gonna
be interesting because if Bill Cosby gets found not guilty,
(01:03:50):
do you know, what do we do? Because you can't
try a man in the court of public opinion. He's
already been tried in the court of public opinion. Everybody's
lay with Rabis True, he got his day in court,
he gets found not guilty, what ya, what do we do?
The seven men and five women sent out a note
They said we cannot come to a unanimous consensus on
any of the counts. So, according to people that were
in court, they said, he's happy to know he has
(01:04:11):
twelve people of his peers who understand that the facts
of this case don't add up. The inconsistencies with miss
Andrea constant statements as well and Cosby showing different World reruns,
if you watch Different World on Netflix or you watch
Cosby Shore rerun, It's gonna be hard to convict that man.
Man like this has provided so much good entertainment and content.
I'm telling you absolutely tough. Well, he's facing up to
(01:04:32):
thirty years behind bars if he does get convicted of
three counts of aggravated and decent assaults. He will never
make it thirty years. What happens all right, Alex Rodriguez
will be the first Hispanic to be a shark on
Shark Tank. So he's set to join the cast of
in the next season. And that's pretty exciting now, he said.
The fact that Hispanics contributed over a trillion dollars annually
(01:04:53):
to the economy, it's just a phenomenal feat. I think
in DC and other business communities we should be having
really smart conversations on how to double that number. But
does he boy, does he have businesses? Um like? Like,
you know, why would I part with him if he
doesn't in this business experience? Does he founder and CEO
of a Rod Corp. Which is a private holding company
with multiple businesses in the United States and Latin America.
(01:05:13):
Some of these businesses are construction, fitness centers, and automotive dealerships.
And he also has his experience being featured on Fox
Sports as an analyst. I mean, that's that sneaky money, yep,
a rodding out here, putting it all on the ground, right,
So good for him, and I'm sure that means that
him and j Lore gonna be chilling all right. Two
Chains Pretty Girls like trap music is finally finally available.
(01:05:36):
Originally it was supposed to come out April seventh, but
now it is out. So it's sixteen tracks on there.
Yeah out. Oh let me give you a little snippet
in case you haven't heard it yet. Okay, here is
two Chains featuring Pharrell said in the club, I wrote
(01:06:02):

we're looking for some love a D Day competition. I'm
mixing in the kitchen. Now, who's gonna do the dishes?
Bang l thinker? Then Delia, I tell you the truth.
Maybe your friends aren't confused. And here's two Chains featuring.
Then he goes got pregnant by her main dude, and

so much sauce on your bitch looked like she went
in the bed. I'm looking on my title right now. Yeah,
get that two chains, the album Pretty Girls Like Trap Music.
And Connor McGregor versus Floyd Mayweather Junior. Now apparently in
the contract there will be a potential lawsuit if he
kicks at Floyd Mayweather during their August twenty six fights.
(01:07:05):
Should definitely be right. It's in the contract. They said
that could actually really ruin Floyd Mayweather because of his
value in the sport. So if anything like that happened,
there would be a lawsuit a condom. McGregor loves his money.
He would lose a lot of money if that should
some way, somehow happen. I've been saying that for months.
It shouldn't even be a lawsuit if he kicks or
tries to gravel Floyd may Whether anything evident by other
(01:07:26):
than boxing. He should even get to get the squalified immediately,
shouldn't get his money immediately. But it's gonna be hard though,
because it's muscle memory. Yeah, it's gonna be hard not
to react, you know, do what you know, right right,
all right, Well I'm Angela Yee and that's your rumor reports.
All right, thank you, miss ye
