dj NVA bullies me. I get bullied on this show
and I agree with you, sir? What do you think
I should do? Should I go to ed y'all? Give
me a bag? Um? I think the best thing is

(01:08):
the D has the same hairstyle as you. Right, you
guys both have baldy. But the difference now DJ got
if you got the fake hairline? Yeah, that's the thing.
Like his hairline might be fake, but you can see
yours like yours. You can see your it starts sitting
the back of your head, like you have to stephen
a man's half bro and DJ right, is he bullying? Yes? Yeah,

(01:30):
you can see his fade, like you can see his hairline.
He doesn't have to go to the barbershop. I think
he's flirting with me. Bro, you flirting with me? You
don't married. Man. You didn't give me no advice about
my bullies situation and how my bully and Charlomagne, yeah,
you have a perfect Caroline's like, you don't have to
go to the barbershop to get your haircut, so you
can just his hairline. Bullies mind. I actually go to
the bar for twice a week, sir. But I think

(01:52):
I love the fact that you're complimenting me. You can
see your hairline. You can see the front of your hairline, charlotmae,
your hairline, sir, My oline is good. I don't have
to come ten minutes late because I'm in the head
in the parking lot shaving my head. Confused suicide. You're
on this morning ten minutes late because they were shaving
their You know you're grown ass man talking about my

(02:14):
hairline and headline. I think you're flirting with us, sir,
that's so funny. I just did this whole thing on
hair and I was talking about how men are so
self conscious about their hairlines. I'm not. I'm not at home.
I don't want to not wear a hat if they
don't have their haircut. I didn't have a hat on
yesterday because I need a haircut of wear a hat.
That's just me, that's regardless. I love who's this. This
is Tavares page VARs s git it off your chests.

(02:35):
And I got a little issue with with Charlomagne. I'm
not sure if you're part of the group either, but
this whole black man, don't cheat. Yes, I'm not coming up.
I'm not coming up against the brothers or trying to
sell secrets and all that time. That's exactly what you're doing.
I can smell it on your breath already this morning.
We'll smell my breath when I gave you this. I'm
the whole I'm the whole reason my father cheated on

(02:59):
his wife. My dad did too, sir. Okay, I'm here
on account of that you know what I'm saying, and
you love cha Huh. There was no love involved in that.
You know what I'm saying. That was lust. That's called lust.
That's a difference. That's That's what I'm saying. In our community,
there's a lot of kids, there's a lot of kids
rejected because of this lust demon and this this whole

(03:22):
false narrative of black men don't cheat. Listen, I don't
know if it's comical, you know I'm saying, but I
get the comedy in it, but you no comedy. I'm
just sorry. Black men don't cheat. I don't know what
grown ass black little boys do, but black men we
don't cheat. You know what I'm saying, because I know,
I know that your father caused you. That's what you're saying. Yes,

(03:42):
I get okay, I get it now, that's what okay.
I was just unaware of your the comedy side of it.
You know what I'm saying, ain't no comedy. It's not
a laughing matter. He choose me to your dad. Man,
A real man, A real man does not cheat, is
what you're saying. Black men don't cheat. Let me ask
your question, sir. He suits me. Hear that, Yeah, I
love my father. Okay, did you get out all the

(04:03):
situation and problems and everything off your chest with him
with the help of God? Yes, okay, good. Let me
askin your questions. Did your father, your father, his wife
or whoever he cheated on, how did you come into
this world devastate her? What happened? She embraced She embraced me.
That's why I love her to this day. She embraced me.
And that's why I I outreach the kids that are

(04:24):
rejected and have that same spirit upon them that when
they feel when they go out in the world and
they don't have a father, they don't have a mother,
these these these crimes that are being committed, these things
that are being committed in our community, there's a deep
rooted thing that we have to dig up and and
really look at people. And that's what's going on and
in our community right now, it's rejection. Well, you're right,

(04:48):
we're not rejecting your brother. We love you and remember
love y'all too. I love y'all too. I appreciate y'all.
Remember black men don't cheat, all right, get it off
your chests. Eight hundred five eight five one on five
one if you need to hit this up right now?
Was the breakfast club? Good morning? Did your time to
get it off your chests? Whether you're man or blast
so so you better have the same industry we want

(05:09):
to hear from you on the breakfast club. Hello, who's this? Three?
It's up broke, get it off your chests. Man, don't
just this morning, man, you and me both brother? Yeah, man,
you know, just thinking the Lord and shouting out my family,
my wife and my kids as well. Keep going on
my way to work this morn y'all have a blessing. Yeah,
going to my brother. Hello, who's this? This is Jules

(05:32):
Jim's one hundred. Hello, I kuled Jim's one hundred. Hit
it off your chest? You so hand like a cigarette.
It's early, it's early. I didn't have kid. Well, what's up.
I'm gonna get you off your chests. You're having a
great day so far. So far, it's a great day.
So many blessings. Um. I do have a jury business.
It's called Jing Jing one hundred. But every single day

(05:53):
I think about my brother that is in jail or
because of police book cality over for ten years. And
in the morning he's in jail because of police brutality.
How that happened? He was about fifteen years old and um,
he was jumped by police. They took him to jail,
they had him signing papers and even he didn't even
have his parents with store. Damn. Oh my god, I'm

(06:15):
sorry to confess to something that he didn't do it. God,
I'm sorry about that, mama. And we can see how
that can happen. Was if we've seen it happen many times,
that's awesome. I even want to go visit him. And
the police one't let us visit him? Is that allegious?
And he was gover jail? Continue and well, I'm so sorry, mama.

(06:37):
Well what you my story going, my brother's stories. So
I'm very happy about that. Okay, But thank you for
calling the event with us this morning. Thank you so much.
That was good day you too. Hello? Who's this you?
What's everything? Hey? What's up? Trial? Hi? Trap? How are
you doing? Room? Good? But how are you? I'm doing good?

(06:58):
I'm doing good? What's up? Says? How you? Listen? I
got a bone to pick with you? What's new? You
love picking my bone? No, I'm sorry, I'm tired of you. Charlemagne.
I am tired of you talk. You know, you perfectly
go out your way not to mention J Cole when
you're talking about lyricists. You're always gonna bring up Rhapsody,
you always gonna bring up Kendrick Lamar. You always go

(07:20):
out way not to mention J. Cole, and I'm tired
of it. That's not true. I just mentioned who I
thoroughly enjoy, and I'm not saying that J. Cole is
not a lyricists. Those are just the two top people
that come to the top of mind when I think
a super lyricists in this game, I think a Cole,
I think a Rhapsody, I think a Big Sean. That's
what comes to my mind that I want you to
know that Cold can Wash Rhapsody, Cold Can wash Ja

(07:41):
Kata already duckt the slope on American Dreams, teacher, and jeez,
just to listen to that song, my brother, my brother,
you need to go listen to the Joiner with Rhapsody
and J Cole. Rahapsody clearly bodies Jay Cole on that record. Guy,
as you think otherwise, you're really being biased. But Colin
on Ka, I don't think Cole's on Kate a rhapsody level.
But that's just my opinion. V JO. I want to
clue box with Ja cole Man. You have a good

(08:02):
you have a good day. Come on, Charlomi's supposed to
say he's the tip nunk and say that what forget it?
We did mention cold other day. We were talking about
Lyricis with a blue h what's her name, Lita? Why
I started to say blue doctors know, I don't know who.
Get it off your chests eight hundred five eight five
one oh five one. If you're upset, you need to
ven hit us up. Now. Is the breakfast Club? The
breakfast Club? Morning? Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlomagne

(08:28):
the guy. We are the breakfast Club. Good morning now.
If you just joined us with talking low Quisha, now
tell him about low quition. La Quisition is a movie
about a white man who's pretending to be a black
woman in order to get a job on radio where
they're looking for a black woman radio host. All right,
so when the cross show becomes successful, when he lands
the job even though he's a white man. So let's
playing snippet at the trailer right fast. It's brilliant, I

(08:50):
know the biggest thing in radio. But I still need Louisa.
What's your problem? Hi, Le's seat? It's oh, I ain't
talking to you, not the way you sound. Next dollar,
you go, girl. You be good at her. If you're
good to yourself, you can be good at others. Don't
be too good because the police have come around. Is

(09:12):
a pretty over old model for if you're asking an
am a woman's on display. I think I might be
a black woman trapped in a white man's body. So
we're asking eight hundred five eight five one o five one,
what are your thoughts? Let's start with you. Yeah, you're
a black woman. Yeah. I thought it was very offensive
that he tried to. First of all, it sounds like
a stereotypical what a white person thinks a black woman
sounds like. And then the name Loquisia is that it

(09:34):
just feels very like stereotyping what a black woman is.
And it's already hard enough for black woman to get
these positions in these jobs. So the fact that you
make a movie about a white man getting this job
because he can't get it because he's a white man,
it's kind of like, you know, we have some type
of affirmative action going on, like let us have a
job that is very few and far between for us.

(09:54):
But people would say, it's a movie and you know,
they did it in White Chicks with Marlin and Damon
played h they were black and that played White Chicks.
I think that's the exact opposite of what this is.
What do you think? Well, I mean, here's the problem.
The problem is there is not a black woman behind this,
all right, That white guy, what's his name, Jeremy Chaville,
should have went to one of his black female comedian
friends and let her be, let her be the face

(10:16):
of this. You know, if he did that, I don't
think it would be an issue because there's an unwritten
rule that the oppressor can't make films like this about
the oppressed, but the oppressed can do that to the oppressors.
And that's just the way it is. But I think that,
you know, people got to stop being offended by fictional
world like it's a movie, it's entertainment. Like I grew
up on people pretending to be other people all the time,
and Living Color made fun of everybody. Dave Chappelle made

(10:39):
fun of everybody. You got White Chicks, remember Jahwanna Man
where he pretended to be a woman NBA player. We
would have never gotten Shena all Wanda in this generation.
You tell me tell Wanda where positive depictions of black
women's kind of this is what a white man thinks
the black woman sounds and you know, looks like and
what her names should be. But there's a black comedian

(10:59):
from the movie who is defending the movie, and here
is what he has to say. If anyone's offended, I'm
very sorry, But I wasn't trying to make any ans
a mockery. And in fact, I don't think the trailer
does the movie any justice. I don't think any of
the black people I worked on it though we were
making a mockery. I think we're, at least for myself,
well versed and our plight in our history and all

(11:20):
of that. This is a comedy. It's a story about
one guy who does the wrong thing for the right
reasons and ultimately pays the place. I think you kind
of have to withhold judgment until you see the movie.
All right, Well, let's go to the phone lines eight
hundred five eight five, one oh five when we have
Elvis on the line, Elvis good morning, Hey, good morning,
what's up. What do you think about? What are your

(11:40):
thoughts on the movie? I think it's great. I think
it's a great idea. I think if the best idea
for his white chick. Do you remember white chick? Good?
I'm not afraid this movie sounds like a dope ida
y'all tripping? Well, he actually did. The writer and director
did actually, and the guy who starting they did actually
tag Marlon Wayans and say Lucretia meet white chicks, and
Miley said please tagging me and this bsame. Well doesn't

(12:04):
same to think so, But I mean, listen, white women
could have been offended by white chicks. White women could
have been like, we don't act like that, that's stereotypical.
They could have done the same exact thing. Yeah, we're
just always impressing, um, you know, always marginalized. But yeah,
that's the thing. It's an uten rule. It's an unwritten
rule that that the oppressed can't I mean, the oppressor

(12:24):
can't do that to the oppressed, but their press can
do that to their pressent. This is the way it is. Hello,
who's this hi engineer? Hey, janniece, what are your thoughts
on the Quisha I think it's offensive, Like number one,
like just the name alone, like that's the name he
chose to um, you know, like like that's the first
thing he thinks he thought of when he thought of
a black woman. And and then I think you can't

(12:46):
compare the white chicks because the white chicks, it was
they were studying Pacific to Pacific white girls that they
had to, like, you know what I mean, to tempt
to be he decided to become a black a caricature.
Hold on, y'all haven't even seen y'all have not even
seen the movie yet, because guess what we do radio?
And when we first start doing radio, what's the first

(13:08):
who they who they tell you that we're talking to?
Tell me Angela Envy? Come on now, who who did they?
Who do these consultants and stuff? Tell us were talking
to Sania from New York who got two kids. Okay,
watch his love and hip hop all damn day. So
we don't know if in this movie this guy was
talking to a radio consultant who told him the same thing. Yeah,
but yeah, nobody want to talk, y'all. Some suck. So

(13:30):
wait a second, I think from what we saw on
the trailer, it looks like he didn't get this job
when he applied as a white man, so he decided
to disguise his voice as a black woman. Makes up
the name Loquishe We haven't but we haven't seen the movie.
It's a trailer. We're basing it off of what we know.
But in the movie, no, come on, man, that's a
small see see. I don't know. I answer the question

(13:51):
about who they tell us we're talking to on this radio,
then tell us be talking to eighteen to thirty four
year old African American woman is from New York I
went to. I don't know if, but they're definitely for me,
the New York of Brooklyn. That's what we was only
watch love and hip hop all the time. That's what
we was only in New York. You know that was
nine years ago we did that. I'm just sadicated now,
so just saying that that doesn't no longer apply to

(14:14):
what we're talking about. I think there's a difference between
a white man pretending to sound and talk like a
black woman than knowing who your audience is. Were you
ever offended by and wander when when Martin used to
do he really is a black man? That actually created
those characters. But it's still a stereotype of black women.
From what I've seen and from what I know about this,

(14:34):
I think it's just different to see a white man
pretending to be a black woman than it is to
see a black man doing what he did. And also,
Martin's a comedian. How do we see those guys not
a comedian? All right, well, let's open up the phone.
Five one oh five one. See. I'm torn because I
do feel it's disrespectful and it's like it makes fun
of our coaching in front of our black queens. But

(14:55):
also it isn't it's jokes, like we all have jokes
like liver color. With jokes he made fun of every
body and liver color they made for the gay people,
they made for the black people, they made for the
white people. It was funny then, but is it too
sensitive now where we can't laugh? I don't think. I
think I think he should have had a black woman.
I think if it was this whole thing, but I
think that this just sounds like such a mockery of

(15:16):
what it is to be a black woman. That's true too.
Does that make it better if it was a black woman?
There's still making a mockery of a black woman. All
eight on, I'm a black woman radio house host. Do
I need to be named Loquisha and talk like that?
Eight five eight five, one on five one call us
now as a breakfast club. Go morning the breakfast Club,
but morning everybody is DJ mzy Angela Yee Charlomagne the

(15:38):
guy we all the breakfast club. If he just joined us,
we're talking little quish up. Now, what's a little quish
about you? It's a movie about a white man who
decides that he wants to get a job as a
black woman radio host because that's what the ad was
looking for, and so he decides to name himself Loquisha
and adopt what he thinks sounds like a black woman
and how an opinionated black woman was sound. Let's go
to the hold on, Hold on, Sean, we got coca

(15:59):
on a line. Go, No, this is Devin. Oh I'm sorry, Devin.
What are you saying? Devin? I don't understand why people
was mad because it sounds just like that movie Starting
to Bother You. I didn't see that out No, nothing,
not really, because Sorry to Bother You was about the
black guy adopting the white voice to sell more as
a telemarketer. I guess I gone, what I did tell

(16:22):
the mark you know, I had to definitely, I definitely
had my white voice on Sean from Pelco Fuel. How
are you doing today, sir? Awesome? Yeah, it's really different
because if you would say as as a white person, right,
if you wanted a job and tell the marketing as
a white man, could you be like, hey, my name
is the question, I'm trying to get this job, then
what would happen in real life? Okay, I don't know

(16:43):
about that. That was kind of the opposite. Hello, who's
this Keith? What's something man? We're talking about? Lo Keisha?
What do you think? What are you doing? Problem with that? Man?
You know, they just really did what the Black claimsman
was like kind of like that same concept, like, well,
Homeboy was trying to uh change up its voice to
be a white person to catch somebody or whatever like

(17:03):
that sink scenario. Right, I never saw Black Claiman. I
don't see Black Claimers were good man. That was a
good movie. But they had a recent movie like that
same scenario. Charloman was right too. White chicks, Yeah, a
matter of stuff. But you have a problem if after
seeing this movie, white man went around talking like they
were la cuisia. No, we do the same thing to

(17:23):
them all time. But it's I would I wouldn't want
a white person to come up to me and be like, hey,
sister girl, I hate when people do theyn't do that now, Hey,
it's intensive now you ever seen the Empire? Listen? The
problem is is an unwitten rule that the oppression can't
make films. You know about the oppressed, But the oppress

(17:45):
can do that to the oppress. That's just the way
it is. Whether it's a man doing that to a woman,
a strap person doing that to a gay person, a
white person doing that to a black person like you,
just it never looks good. Think you think a white
man could know what it's like to be a black woman. No,
and accurately portrays that. But I'm sure that's the whole
point of the movie. I'm sure by the end of
this movie, his whole spot gets blown up. I'm sure

(18:06):
by the end of this movie, his whole spot gets
blown up. Mike, Yeah, Hey, hey, what's up, bro? What
do you what are you? What are your thoughts on Loquisha?
All right? I got I got three points. First of all,
when I saw this thing, I'm like this movie where
this man ninteen eighty five. I couldn't believe that someone
put this on two thou and nineteen. One of my
biggest deployment was when you see The Black Game, the movie.
I can't believe any of them read the script and

(18:26):
showed up for this cat. I think sieve that you know,
they would endure something like this. I think that that
was a huge pro problem. But honestly, the biggest plot
hole is how many black women named Loquisha are getting
hired without a face to face interview. Right, that doesn't happen. Ever,
we haven't seen the movie. Well, that's what happens in
the movie. He doesn't have a face to face interview.
That's why he got hired because it didn't. I'm not

(18:47):
about to sit here and try to figure out a
fictional movie. It's because that is that's part of the plot,
is that he gets hired without them seeing him. But no,
but I'm saying it's it's a movie. I'm not gonna
pick a part a movie like we know it for
entertainment purposes. We know it's fictional. Hello, who's this Mica Michael,
what's up, bro? What what are your thoughts? Man? Well,
I want to see if people keep that same energy

(19:09):
when it comes to other movies, if they're gonna be
disgusted or something like Dinner. You can't watch like The
Black CLANSO Man or a White Ship or something like that,
when when it's for one, it's a comedy, so and
inferious about it and too it's I mean, it's a movie.
You can't take something that that serious. Yeah, nobody defends
black women. It don't have nothing to do with that.

(19:29):
This is a movie like you get remember that old movie,
Remember that old movie in ninety six with Whoopi Goldberg
called The Associate. We've seen Eddie Murphy play white people
like listen. The problem with this whole thing is they
should have had a black woman behind it. It should
have been a black woman executive producer. It should have
been a black woman. Black women were writing on it, like.
That's the biggest issue here to me is that this

(19:50):
white guys at the forefront of this. If they would
have had a black woman attached to this, it wouldn't
even be an issue. That's that's why highback the black women.
You give a black woman some coin and then make
it make it seem okay. No, it's more than just
having a black woman behind that disrespect. It's a movie.
If black women are finding a disrespectful and don't like it,
then it's disrespectful. I'm not a black woman, so I
can't sit here and tell you what I mean. Some

(20:13):
people are okay with it, some people aren't. What I
go see this movie? Now? We shouldn't We shouldn't add
no more reruns of Living Color. We shouldn't ad no
more reruns of Chappelle Show. We shouldn't add no more
white chicks, no more do you want a man? We
shouldn't add no more Martin? Because he did. She ain't
like what are we talking about him? I just think
it's a lot harder. It's not as easy as saying.
For us as a black woman, it's not very often

(20:33):
I'm like, Hey, we're looking to hire a black woman
who is sassy, opinionated to take this job. And then
a white man who has a name like who makes
up a name like Loquisha and then starts talking in
what he considers to be a black woman sassy rhetoric
comes against a job it's weird to me. That's a
but to me, it's weird. All right, guys, what's the
mo I was to me? I wasn't cracking up when

(20:55):
I've seen it. The moral of the story is, y'all
promoted the hell out of this white man's movie. My God,
he's gonna kill at the box office on Netflix, wherever
the hell this is coming out. I doubt it. Now,
you crazy? This movie about the pop? It's about the
pop right now? Again? That's all right? Well, we got
rumors on the way. Yes, let's talk about Hey, you
mentioned Whoopie go Berg. Well, she has a new venture
that she's working on, and let's tell you what it is.

(21:15):
It's about inclusivity, all right. We'll get into that next.

the eighties and what is a light skin talk? Everybody relaxed,
let them get this off. I'm always gonna be mad
at you. I mean mad at you, elder balls, phenciphal
war Yellow, your queens and oh my gosh, your queens. Dude,
go to think I can do much to smash your girl, man,
because you relax and let colorism flourishing. Charlot Man, you

(22:43):

say that you like dude. Sometimes that's true, gaining this
the whole day. You be confusing me. Just come clean.
Why can't I just like gain this without liking the
side of me? Nah, Manna, I don't like none of it. Man,
if you're a real man, you're gonna be up. You're
gonna be a man and be gay. No, you can't
be a real man and be gay. No that is

(23:03):
not true, sir. You can't take it. If you're a
real man, do man things. You know what I'm saying.
You you you you cut the wood down, you build
the fight, gonna hunt the squirrel and it's all about
cutting wood and the community. What you said, you said,
the real man hunt squirrels. Okay, you just told me
to cut wood and the go go chase squirrels. You
know what, squirrels chase nuts. You're pretty, You're real pretty,

(23:27):
but you need a better body. Though I like you
and all that. You're pretty, but body needs to pull up.
You need to you need to get picking that up.
You know what I'm saying, go to dogs and get
that bright. I'm not doing that, but I'm absolutely okay.
We're not having said you need a hug, bro, but
thank you. What you mean you need to hug it's
a swear at the breakfast club. He sounds so upset.
This is what he proposed to do. I like your
face a mighty be you said you like my face? Yes,

(23:49):
he likes your face and he and he wass a
go chase. You need a better body? What about ye face?
What about yee face? What about ye face on my body?
You know you'll keep it mad room and all that.
I like all that, but I need to tycken up
some things. And and Charlomagne cut the talk out. Don't
come clean and say that you like dude. Oh my god,

(24:10):
do you like Charlomane's head? Like dude? I know you're
doing all right? All right, Bro, I don't like dudes,
but I just like saying gate. I told me I
like dude. Nobody likes lightsking guys today, who's this? James
from Jersey Jay? What's uping a slanting the breakfast club?
Gay bro? Going on DJ Nvy. I thought you had

(24:30):

saying you ain't picking it? He sucking. I agree with you, bro.
I don't put you know what, I don't put you
in here, bro, he ain't got no pull none. Let's see.
Let's see Black privilege loved it, shook one trash. All
you did was reiterate what you said in the first book. Okay, Angel, Angel,

(24:53):
I know you a little bit better than your co
host on lip Service. They all some birds. Stop it,
that's not true. Those my girls. He's a real earls,
real women. But thank you, man, we appreciate you staying
the breakfast cup. I'm just saying to me, not my friends.
T J. Yes, slender the breakfast I'm TJ. Hey, I
was just uh, I was calling you know, I wanted
to slender avy but I have nothing to hate on today.

(25:15):
But I was calling this slender Charlotte Mange. With those
those action figures in the background, I haven't got an
answer why they They're always in a different post. I
think one of them is like pregnant. Now what action figure?
What are you talking about? Pregnant action figure? Those little uh,
those little guys behind you, Uh, they're always in like
a weird pose. Bro, What are you talking about? Are
you high earlier? Behind ya? Don't smoke. We didn't call

(25:37):
up pim bro. Nobody sits behind me, bro. What you're
talking about? Hello? Who's this? Hey? What's up y'all? J Mary,
good morning, Good morning, breakfast club man j Man, Jay Man?
Wait what he said? I thought he said he was gay? Man?
Oh no, no, Charla, Okay, what's up? Gaming? Noah. I
got a little constructive criticism, you know, y'all, my folks.

(25:58):
So I ain't trying to plend y'all, nothing like that.
So I'm gonna start off with an interview, a lot
of saying, you know, try to get a little tough
to skin. I know a lot of times you take jokes,
you let's roll off your shoulders. But every now at
the end you make get a real, real sensim. My brother,
I don't know if I think. I think if he
has very tough skin. It takes a lot. Shut up,

(26:20):
you do. What did you get sensitive about that? That
was probably gay? But I take a lot. I don't know.
I think everything gay. I see na na no, no,
that all right? Nixt yes, you do the rule of report,
you know what I'm saying and read. I graduated from
Florida State with a communications degree, and one thing we

(26:42):
was taught is to be a reporter, how to repair.
So a lot of times when you're giving a rule
of report. You know, charlote man, have a follow up
question for you, and you're like, well, I don't know,
I don't know. That's just what they saying. What I
read that. Yeah, I mean, leg I can't make these
things up because I get live. But for that, you know,
but I had like a like said super follow up questions.

(27:02):
It's a legend you do your research a little bit first,
you know, to report it to it and not just
repeat it. Sounds like you repeated what you heard in class.
Go ahead, I definitely did because I learned that. Well,
you just told me not to repeat things, and you
just did that. Well, I'm not reporting that. I'm trying
to give you a little constructive critics and non SMA.
All right, and Charlotte Mary, I never probably see you,
my brother. I remember back in the day when I

(27:24):
first I listened, you know, everybody would like raging you
about being negative or you know what, seeing anything with
a bad conducation. But laterly man, he's been real positive.
You've been uplifting people. You're doing a lot of great things.
Thank you for holding down for dark tam brothers. Oh
my god, what is with this life? Because everybody shut up?
Don't cut him off when he's complimenting me. Continue shut

(27:45):
up now, I said, he has no more continue anything else. No, no,
I was just saying like, thank y'all, all of y'all
to what y'all do. I appreciate like that. I wanted
the plant of your construct the Christmas and you know
what time about I agree. I agree with everything you said.
I don't especially the part about me. I definitely disagree
with that anyway. Keep a lot just to Breakfast Club.
Good morning, d J M v Angela, Yee, Charlomagne the guy.

(28:06):
We are the Breakfast Club. We got a special guests
in the building. Punk bitch, Michael Blason. My head does
have a arrived. You ain't on the clothes on why
you just wearing came from the hotel? What the small moth?
That is a fly? Rob that I ain't gonna do.
You're the same same color twins with that, DM said,

(28:27):
Kim Kardashian Real, Why wouldn't it be real? People don't
believe you don't know? What did he say for people
that don't know? Yeah, woman, you know I don't. Women said, Hey, Kim,
I know you and Kanye break bread with the orange
that named Trump can you ask him to extend my
green card? And she replied, what did you say? She said,

(28:48):
I can help you out if you let my husband
back into the dark Skin committee. Yes, I traded him
two years ago for Stephan Kerry and Drake with Kanye
Ever in the darkskin committee though he was he was
there and then you know I once played tyres, but
I let him back in. Okay, what committee with his
current skins, Charlie, what committee would he be in with

(29:10):
that current the new comedian's with l GBT comedian. And
what is wrong is that it's a very nice community.
So that is a real DM because people were saying
that real DM. Why do white? It's real Kim Listen,

(29:31):
he said, he is not working right now. Too many
bitches hitting me up. Well, last time you was here,
remember your your lady cold and y'all were going through
your stuff and your brain. How did that ever work out?
It's been over for over a year now. Yeah, I'm
just being my best. She'd be spreading lies about you though.

(29:53):
She said that you are not mentally strong enough to
be with one woman and then a monogamous relationship and
then you're a part of the faithful black male communities.
I don't know why I'm fitful to all my Actually,
stop calling women bitches. This is this is a good thing,
means beautiful intelligence, sexy extra out of that acronym beautiful

(30:14):
intelligence whatever. The rest of the look it up. Look
up beautiful intelligence, tonalizing and the rest of the And
you and the white girls, what do you mean? I
meant human beings, every black man. Who did a white
girl say snow bunny? I seen you with a lot
of snow bunnies recently. I've been with one snow bunny.

(30:37):
What's one of the snow bunny? You know? This is
crazy about the snow bunny as well. Started I'm not
mentioned white women hate the term snow bunny. No, no, no,
this is this beautiful intelligent, tenalizing, no, no, no, homeland whatever.
But this particular snow bunny, you know, started started, that's

(31:00):
a little skit. We got connected to a friend, We
shot a little video, put it up on the gram
and it went crazy. And then you know, next you know,
we started like talking, uh, and then I said a
couple of weeks I ended it. It had an end.
I don't want to get too much in details, but
this one important thing happened. What happened? She called me
the N word? Really no, but it wasn't like it

(31:24):
wasn't like me, give me the unique. It was more
like you might go. I'm like, hold up, bitch. You
know I didn't say, I mean, I didn't stop nothing
to after like, of course you know you can't got you.
I had to finish. Yes, no, no condom, of course
no cold ain't no condom forever one of my intelligence.

(31:46):
She said any word, but she didn't like, you know,
and afterwards all said and done, and you know, I
was like what I said in this um She said,
you know you might, but still you're not allowed to
say that work stop doing because she called you the
N word. Well that was part of it. Yeah, but
you know she lit up hard to apologize. You know,
we cool now and I said rumors about you and
the shanty and people were like, actually, we start a relationships.

(32:07):
She's pregnant right now. My baby started that room. Are
you no? We we we went out, not me. It's
all over the internet. Event I saw the pictures. I
didn't know if that was really everything is, sweetheart. If
you got a lot of photoshot pictures Michael let her finish.
She's pregnant, my baby having triplets. Triplets, Yes, but the

(32:31):
guys were all pissed. They were like, damn, he's yeah.
We just happened. We met at a Pre Little Thing
event in La and then after that, the next day,
the guy that owns Pre Little Thing invited us out
to dinner, and then from there was gonna watch Dave
Chappelle and she uber this. I just offer her ride
in my car. Next you know, we got out the car,
all the cameras everywhere, and the next day we were dated.

(32:53):
Shanty was uber dayment by her. She by herself, No,
she was with her assistant. Okay, okay. So they came
in the car. They she sat in the front right.
Of course, we get out of the gun shotgun and
then next you know, cameras everywhere. Did you think about
trying to holler, she's gonna come. I know you didn't
know she's She's your fantasy too. At one point, I'm
sure you like that black male, black man. I'm saying

(33:15):
back to two thousand, was a beautiful woman, very beautiful
woman him already she did she did black definitely block
definitely know what I Michael but she definitely black blocked
me back. You know she she's she's out of my league.
More confidence in yourself. That was the perfect time to hollow.

(33:36):
We're going to the thing. You get to ride. I
trying to you all day. You know we can make
this work. They was really hating on you for that though.
I saw people saying, man, this proved that funny dude
can get anything done. So many haters. Everybody hates some
of me. Anybody's lighting to me, hats something. Don't be
a smart as got me? Who's that guy that's always you,

(34:01):
always trying to sell the house of day the gym?
It was just fun and always stand next to you
in the season. Is that when he said he's a
pizza pizza pizza, just standing it back and just don't

(34:23):
do nothing. You just do other talking. He always like
two two thousands units of houses and stuff like that.
And we teach people how to invest in houses. Why
don't we teach you how to lose weight? We do?
They here, is there any gym in two hundred miles
from where he lives? Lost and he found it the

(34:44):
next day. Ya should buy a gym, That's what he
Michael's trying to sell has two stomachs, one for me,
one for vegetable. Yes, two backs, one the lame back,
one for a baby back. All right, okay, none of
the fun. I have a lot going on. Yeah, are

(35:05):
you going to be in coming to America? Is that happening?
You know what? And I'm on set next to Eddie
shooting this. It's all speculations, and you know, you can't
talk about stuff that it really really happens, and when
it does happen, you know, you never know. You're senior editor.
You gotta like, I don't want to talk about put
it out there. It is at it's out there. It's
like it put out a pressure on Eddie, you know,

(35:25):
and the whole world is rooted for me, you know,
the whole world. The whole world is everybody, but just
not not bad. You know. Well, skip our fingers across you.
What happened? What about Friday? They say, y'all in preproduction
on that the next Friday. Um, I mean we're not
I'm not sure, you know. I mean, that is definitely

(35:46):
gonna happen, and I would definitely be in that. Once
we got Hip Hop Squares coming up very soon, shout
a new season of that that shout out to ice Cube.
You mean that, but he said, he say, you got
a lot going on. I'm saying you name two in impossible.
I'm on tour every weekend. That Caroline this weekend, the

(36:08):
cry on this weekend. Um, you know next year. Going
back on to Martin Lawrence, Okay, even though Martin wasn't
telling no jokes on that on that he's host host.
That was Martin was getting old on people. I love
Martin the death of goddamn man. I thought Martin was
gonna be doing stand up. No, no, he was out
there showcasing the new Yeah, introducing you and didn't even

(36:28):
make of the show know exactly. I was gonna go
over from the sideline. I was gonna go over. They
told me Martin didn't tell no jokes, so I didn't go.
You know, everybody's a legend. He's legend legends. He has
done enough. You love Martin, are all right? We got
more with Michael Blackson when we come back, don't move.

(36:49):
It's a breakfast club the morning and everybody is DJ Envy,
Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the breakfast club.
We have Michael Blackson in the building. Ye, a lot
of funny ass jokes about people. Charlottagne's gotten blocked by
some people. Have you ever gotten blocked by celebrities? Yes? Actually,
gay Leslie Jones blocked me. She did. I'm shocked she

(37:11):
blocked me because I actually gave this with her first.
I we did a little independent movie. In fact, I
wasn't one that called her to do the movie Repot.
They never be seen repos It's a Masterpi movie shot
out with an iPhone hating back. Why well, you know
I go hard on. I forgot was something I said
on her page. But I got her in Repot called

(37:32):
gave my moment. I first gave a call about Repot
because Masterpie, you got the script. He said, hey, Mike,
you know this is your movie. Do what you want
to do? And I read the script. I said, O kid,
I need I need an ugly girl. So I called
Leslie stupid. Come on, I called Leslie, Lizzie, I need
an ugly girl for this scene. Hold up, so you're
calling me You're not that cute when for the scene.

(37:55):
But that wasn't what it was about. It was late.
And then later on I got in my other movie
called I did another a movie called Coney Montana where
I spooped Scarface, and in this movie I completely went
opposite of Scarface. Carface had a beautiful sister everybody wanted.
In my movie, I had an ugly sister nobody wanted,
so of course I had to play that scene too.
Oh my god. And then now she's blown up, sat

(38:16):
in our life doing her thing, and then it was
something went on. I forgot. I made a comment and
she didn't like it and she blocked. So all of
that she was okay with. But then you made I'm
in a comment and I'm shocked because I'm a weird comedian.
We don't. She didn't take nothing personal, but she still
is a woman identity. Then you can't keep calling a
woman ugly over and over, Mike. And then remember she
took a break from social media because she couldn't take
it anymore of people harassing her. Well, she's ugly. Stop

(38:40):
that guy's crazy. Man, Maybe she'd call it and see
how she's doing on Instagram. You think Leslie, don't she's funny?
Now you're sure you don't want to apologize to Leslie
for calling her ugly Unlessie's my girl. I love her
like a sister. Leslie, You're not that ugly Scott's crazy man,

(39:00):
You're actually beautiful. She's not ugly, she just she just
not anybody's type. It's a difference. I saw you on
Instagram talking people to stay off drugs, and that was

(39:21):
a real post post for a real place. What happened
my son? Really? Yeah? You drugs? No? Not, he was
I've never talked about this. This is the first time ever.
I'm from Africa. We don't get high. I grew up
with absolutely nothing. He had no father in my life.
My mother raised me as a single mother in Philadelphia.

(39:42):
We came in when I was a teenager. I was
able to go to school, go to work, stay away
from the streets and did all that and thank god
I'm who I am today. You know. So I probably
left him his mom who I was married to. His
mother a black woman, Charlotte Jermaine Jackson. I wasn't judge
marriage was one more Black American woman in Philadelphia. When

(40:03):
I was young, twenty two twenty three years old. We
had a son. He's now he just turned twenty one,
and I moved to Cali. By five years ago. When
I moved to Cali didn't bring my son, and I knew.
I'm on the road a lot, and I'm a busy dad,
and I'm like, you know, let me get this kid
what I never had. You know, I'm not gonna be
there every day watching everything he's doing, but I'm just
gonna make sure that just my presents are known. No,

(40:25):
he has a father, and he have whatever you want.
These are things that I never had. This kid was
a wilder. He was just even from from a little kid,
he was bad. I remember when I moved to Delaware,
where I have a house in Delaware, I had to
move with me. Eighth grade, he beat us from kid.
He messed up, beat up a white kid, and white
parents press charges. Son, end up going to court, caught

(40:46):
for a fight, fight, end I'm getting kicked out of school,
end up going to one of these bad schools where
you have to go to for like a year. They
send the bad kids that when they send the bad
kids that. So when that happened, I was pissed. Send
his aspect to his mother in Philly, you know, and
his mother's the strict mom. Like I say, we'll get
you together, we get together. You come back and come
with me. So he got it together, you know, And

(41:07):
I said, when I moved to Cali, I said, you know,
you come to Cali, come to high school here. Going
to school's problem problem problem teachers is a call and
complained that he's in school, not responding, just hide whatever.
Right before we graduated, had a long talk with him.
I said, listen, you don't get it together, we'll see
you back to Philly. He agreed to get it together,
graduated Bama BMW for his graduation and send his kids.

(41:28):
Say you want to go to college locally, which is
never a good idea to stay close to your friends.
Next you know this kid is in college, got him
an apart man. He dropped out without me knowing. Are
you still paying for school? And he's just not going
going paying for school, He's not going paying for his apartment.
Thinking his man just getting high, smoking all kinds. Who

(41:49):
knows what he spoken? I mean, later on we found
that it was like K two, Yeah, yeah, I don't
know whether K two So that after that synthetic weed,
I guess it's probably he's smoking is because it's undetectable.
Maybe despite why to do it? I have no idea.
I don't know I don't know about drugs. My thing.
If you're gonna smoke, we get the room and weak.

(42:10):
I had no idea for a very long time, you know.
And a couple of times he'll come over to visit me.
He's acting a little weird, but I never really caught
onto it because I don't hang around drug addicts. One
he had he had roommates where he liked, so eventually
he had he got into a fight with roommate. Roommate
called the cops and he said he had to leave.
So he comes to my place. I had to leave

(42:32):
the department. If you pay for apartment, whip half pay
for half his room and paid for the other half.
Left the apartment. Came to my place and like acting
really weird, and I almost got into a fight with him.
And sometimes, you know, you think, because you're a parent,
you could beat this kid, that this was strongest he
had me ham the hell downs, I'm still your father.

(42:52):
You always still think you could beat up your kids. Right,
How big is he? Man? He's Bobby about five eleven
maybe one eighty, okay, and I'm five eleven eighty. This comment,
I couldn't get the ba And guess what any African
would do when there losing a fight, What do you do?
Grab your spell? Now you bite the mother? I bet,

(43:15):
and that's how I was able to get him off.
Called the cops and whatever. That's where I caught the cops.
I could have caused an angel of money. Not called
the cops. I actually called the security. Where I live
is very secure building. I called the security today and
they figure. They said, you don't want to call the cops.
You know you don't want this again get out in public.
So I called his mom. I said, I know, I'm
not sure what's from this kids, something's not right. Come

(43:37):
and get him. Got her ticket to take him back
to Philly, you know, and I kept asking how things going.
She's kept blind to me, but how things were going?
Find out this guy with like a mental institution off
your son son one time he was in one place.
He escaped from downtown Philly, ended up at my old

(43:57):
house where my brother lives now, which is by the airport,
with no shoes on. Right. That's why I was in
LA when this happened. So my brother and I never
told me I'm good and I ain't crossing eighty nine.

(44:21):
Why you geting tough? It was. It was always a
year continued ome. Sorry. So my brother calls me, said,
Mike is here, and I never told my brothers and
what's going on. So I was like, listen, just keep
him there, let me try to reach his mother and
his mind. His mother never told me that he was
in mentorhome. She was just sugarcoat and everything. So you know,
I called his mind that they said, Mike just ran

(44:43):
away out of an institution and he's no shoes on.
Make mant it to like thirty minutes outside of where
he was, with no money, no nothing, how to hell.
Then she then she finally broke down and told me
everything's been going on with him in the last three
four months, how bad it is bad. So um, I stopped,
told my brother just keep him there till overnight. If
he can make a long social the guy, he finally

(45:04):
would have escaped my brother. This guy was missing for
a whole day, Harry. I mean, that was probably the
first of my shared tears in probably twenties something years,
A whole day and a half. So I remember the
next morning, I had to catch a flight from la
to Atlanta, and I got a call from my block.
Mumba was like, let me just pick this up. I
picked it up. It was a police officer saying that

(45:24):
you have a son named Michael is that this kid
was hanging behind a bus and that's how, you know,
the bus driver called the police and that's how he
got caught. And then from there we said were to
get him into like a place and thank god, he's
like a better person. All right. We got more with
Michael Blackson when we come back, don't move. It's to
Breakfast Club morning. Everybody is DJ Envy Angela Yee, Charlemagne,

(45:47):
the guy we all the Breakfast club was still kicking
it with Michael Blackson. Now, how's your son doing? Now?
He's got just want him. Yesterday I was gonna ask you.
I went him yesterday. He's a little bit, you know,
a little a little bit off, a little bit to me,
you know, to say to ruin. You you know people
who have never recovered from try and drugs and just
went completely crazy and never have recovered. That that's good

(46:08):
that he's yeah, that he's almost there. But you know,
he's not listening to me. You know, he wants to
come back to California. I'm like, you know, you lost
your privilege. I said, if you want my help, you
have to listen to me. I've laid you. I give
you life the easy way. Now it's the hard way
from here on. I told I said, listening, I want
you to go spend a month in Africa. My mother
just went back home. Go spend a month in Africa.

(46:29):
Clear your mind. You know you might not want to
come back after that. I said, go and do that.
When you come back, let's find a trade. If you
don't want to go to college, it's not your thing,
Let's find a trade. You know, smart things you want
to do. Then say you don't go to Africa. We
just had this conversation for somebody who's never been I'm
sure he's been. I took him when as a kid. Yeah,

(46:51):
I took him out a few times. Yeah, that's what
you know. So I was like, listen, I need to
see your commitment to get in better. Right, you don't
want you don't You have to go my lead. You
got to follow my lead if you want my help.
If not, His mom lives in part of Philly. You
have no money. He wanted twenty dollars from me. I
couldn't even get my son twenty dollars, and I had
a pocket for the money. I'm saying you might. I'm

(47:11):
I'm I'm coming to them one hundred percent. For a fact.
You're not doing nothing. You couldn't get a dollar from me,
So why not put him back in like a rehab
or something and let him he said, he said he don't,
he said, he's fine. I said, you're not gonna go
to Africa's being a village chasing chickens, and Africa's beautiful.
Africa's beautiful ally that you know, And I wouldn'ten saying
I wouldn't have you go to like my beause my

(47:32):
mother's real straky be Yeah. I got homies there to
have mansions. You know this jam you go work out,
you could just you know, just get away for a month.
Africa it's like any other modern civilization. He just afraid.
He thinks if he goes up there, I'm gonna take
his passport and throw them away and then his ass
can come back. And the reason I even put up
that message to the other than on Instagram, I'm so crazy,

(47:53):
you guys brought that up out of nowhere. You know,
I was hanging out and at the poop of where
I live, and I saw these kids just looking all
happy and normal. I'm like, damn, my son was like
this two years ago, you know, And you know that's
why I was like, you know, let me try to
say what the kids bout, you know, bringing this up
and talking about it. You know, No, it is crazy
because you know you're a comedian. Everybody know Michael Blackton

(48:13):
is always joking, so you never know when you to
take you serious. But I can tell this really has
had an impact. Hurt said, you've never done drugs a
day in your life, never and never smoke weed. I'm
didn't help only because and either smoke weeds. Some bitches
woman make that smoke. It met my wearing. You're not,
but I'm smoking. I never held. I'm like Bill Clinton,

(48:35):
I've never held in my life. I've never been high.
I don't know what it feels like to be high.
I have no interest in getting high. I just want
to let you know that. Charlomagne said, do you want
to hug? Offered you a home a black man. The
black man now he got no clothes on the today,
very hot dust on his son. I'm good and black

(48:57):
men don't got to act tough all the time. He
doesn't want to hug you all you sure you gotta
make up. I'm not gonna get your makeup all over
his robe. I'm good. How much the airline cars? Well, heirline.
It is all juice and berries, Johns and berries. Is
this is not motherfuh safari hair, dude, this is real.

(49:21):
I ain't buy nothing. This is juices and berries. I
don't believe you, Mike. I don't. You've been down to
be all over him. I don't know. I don't want
to have to touch me. What's up? What you man?
Are you brother? Because he told a heartfelt story. But
I'm good. I'm a tough guy. I've been through everything
in the world. You don't always have to be tough, Mike. No,

(49:41):
I'm not. He broke down crying when it happen. I did.
I didn't when when when he was missing for there
a half I cried. I want to take him to
therapy or something. He's tried all that he see me,
he just thinks he's fine. He don't. You can't when
the kids over eighteen, you can't make him do anything
that's true, you know? And that the only thing I
got called troller boy it's money. You want my money.

(50:02):
You have to listen to me. Other way you get nothing.
At what point do you give up because you're grown
as man, I know you just can't give up on
your kid. Yeah, regardless, you know, I don't care to
hit thirty years old. It's still your child. Every day.
I don't want to. You know, you might say it,
but deep inside, I'm like, what is this good doing?
Right when you're gonna be a Carolyns this weekend? Right?
You're going right? Can you turn into jokes? I mean,

(50:25):
I know when I went and saw him at at
the Crazy Home, you know, he mentioned, you know he
saw Jesus or something. I said, Well, I had a
bottle water, I said, turning to the wine, and then
turn the wines, and you saw the devil that was
the Lord. Yeah, you have some great stories and funny
things that have happened to you in your life. Do
you ever think when you're going through something because they're like,

(50:46):
this is gonna be really funny for later on? Oh yeah,
I'm And I tell every girl I dated or one
our way, I said, listen, once it's over, you'll be
part of my act. So the snow Bunny is in
my act already now, Mikey's I'm writing material right now
for that little Nige form. The pain you cost me,
I'm gonna get paid up this. Are you gonna see
him this weekend showing? I'm in Canada Saturday, I'm gonna

(51:09):
probably come. He's a Friday or Sunday. Come to him. Man,
sitting come to your shows, not sitting in front. I
got you like your chance. It's the breakfast club. Good.
I'm gonna take a sip of water, okay. Talk here

(51:29):
Today goes to a forty five year old man named
Chris Morgan. Forty five years old, all right. He's from
Long Island, New York. And Chris Morgan is five feet tall.
That's it. Five feet tall, all right. The average height
for men in America over twenty years old it's five
feet nine inches. So Chris is nine and she's below
the national average. And the poor guys aren't sure about it.

(51:50):
It's actually very sad to watch because I'm short. Actually,
I guess I'm average height. I clocking around five nine,
you know, got you ain't a damn five nine means
give about five four? I said, around maybe like five eight,
all right. It's just something that's honestly something I never
thought about it, all right, Okay, maybe because I grew

(52:11):
up listening to the five dog resting Piece when fight said,
I'm all that, and then some short dog and handsome
all right, as I always felt about myself. I hearing
Fife call himself to five foot or or the five
foot Assassin, or listening to Easy East say my height,
don't fight. Remember that, that's right, myight, don't fight, damn it,
all right, those songs instilled self confidence in me as

(52:32):
a young man, because I realized I wasn't alone. Not
to mentioned, it's not like I was looking up to everyone.
Most people with my height are not that much taller
than me, And if they were taller than me, it's
not anything I ever thought about, not to mention. Okay,
Back in my thought days, when I was far from
the faithful blackmailer than I am now, tall women used
to love my little sword off ass. So when it
came to height, I never understood what I was missing,

(52:53):
all right. I never understood the struggle people have of
being vertically challenged. So I can't relate to you little
fun sized fools and your securities about being built like
a mini bar. Now, depending on who you ask, Chris
Morgan is either bite size bully or a pint size punk.
It's all about perspective, and from up here we probably
can't see things the way he does down there. But
Chris Morgan was in a bagel shop called Bagel Boss,

(53:15):
where he decided to lash out or but being repeatedly
rejected by women because of his five foot stature. I
can't make this kind of stuff up. Let's go to
Inside edition for the report police. Everywhere I go, I
get the same smirk with the fighting wood. A customer
just loses it because he says women rejects him over
his size. Why is it okay for women to say, oh,
your five feet are dating sites? You should be dead.

(53:37):
That's okay you here. Nobody women in general has said
it on a dating site. If you say, I'm making
it up? Now, what happens when another customer tells him
to calm down, dude, want to step outside? I'm about
straight out that. Somebody else tells him to cool it.
Can't attack them, Oh my god. Back on his speed,

(54:01):
he aims his anger at the female staff working the counter.
The crazy video took place here at bagel boss in
Vashor along Island. We've learned his name is Chris Morgan.

(54:21):
How do you sound like Joe Pesci? Joe short too,
but more confidence to that guy. Listen, man, women women, women, women, women,
women can give them all the confidence in the world
and then give us all the insecurities in the world.
All right, The male ego is already fragile. But if
Chris was getting action from the ladies, he would not
care about his height. If he was a peewee size playboy,
he wouldn't be thinking about his height at all. It's

(54:43):
not his lack of height that's hurting his feelings, it's
his lack of women. You can be the size of
an opulo play and still provide orgasms Like this is
the level of insecurity that Chris might need to go
see a therapist about. Chris, do you know the serenity prayer? Chris?
Do you know the serenity prayer? I repeat, Chris, do
you know the serenity prayer? If you don't, I'll say
it for you. I have time to say it because
it's short. God, grant me the serenity to accept the

(55:04):
things I cannot change, courage to change the things I
can and wisdom to know the difference. Chris Morgan, God
made you a lowrider, all right, it is what it is,
the problem is you don't have it. And however, all right,
in life you always have to have a However, remember
when Biggie Small said black and ugly as ever, however,
all right, Biggs, however it was he was Gucci down
to the socks, rings and watch filled with rocks. Not

(55:26):
to mention he was charismatic and funny. He had game. Chris,
you have to be a Google with game, all right,
that's how you get the women. You have to find out. However, Chris,
all right, house mouse, do you hear me? You have
to find out? However, all right, now, I don't relate
to people like Chris Morgan. You are really making us
shortstops look weak. Some people are bill mugs, some people
of shot glasses. That's the way God designed it. That's

(55:48):
just the way it is now. Chris spoke the inside
Editions Alison hallis here what he had to say. Do
you think that a bagel shop is really the place
to take out all of this anger? With all of
these strangers in public, like innocent people around, why not
what do you mean take it out? And you right
feel like I didn't admit shooting him something. He was
quickly done talking. You know what, I don't really no offense.

(56:09):
I don't really like you that much. So this interview
is over. Clearly, clearly this guy never got his bagel
all right, because he sounds hungry, alright, angry, angry, little
hobby alright, egotistical evil ewalk all right, Chris, listen to me.
Arrogance is the camouflage of insecurity. And we all see

(56:29):
through your camouflage, sir. All right, Chris, if you're out
there listening, I know you're in Long Island. This is
where our headquarters are here in New York City, Pile
one or five one. Uh, this has never happened before
in the breakfast club. I'm gonna actually play a tune
for somebody, you know what I'm saying. I feel like
I feel like if Chris was the call into this
radio station, he would retrust this record. I wish I

(56:54):
would call it. Please give Chris Morgan the biggest he hare.
It's actually not the biggest he hart. That's actually the
shortest he got technically by time, because I got to
Cathy Griffin one to remy mall one. I got to
Chelsea handling one the Hamleton. That's actually the shortest he
how we got. So let me rephrase that. Please give

(57:16):
Chris Morgan the shortest he how we have, oh man
and good time. And that guy that threw him on
the floor of the bagel shop, that was wrong. That
was to you didn't have to do that to man. No, seriously,
that I was all jokes aside. That was just an
abuse of you didn't have to do that. I'm serious.

(57:38):
That was He should be arrested for endangering a child.
I'm calling that was wrong. That was wrong. He don't
have to get that. Just give the man a wengy. Man.
You ain't gotta throw him on the floor. Just give
him a wedgie. That's all you gotta do. Angry him
on the fans. You can't get him. Why can't you?
That's tryld molestations. You know the Breakfast Club morning everybody

(58:03):
is DJ Envy Angela Yee, Charlemagne the guy we are
the Breakfast Club. We got a special guest in the building. Yes, sir,
Andre Iguadala, welcome back, sir. It's good to be back. Man.
You should be somewhere relaxing after that long ass season,
but you out here promoting your new book, first book,
First One, First six, Many Memoir. Why now? Man, I

(58:23):
think it was just good timing, especially with the run
we've been on. We were kind of the poster childs
of the league as far as you know, people really
loving us and what we did for the game and
then being on the oppositie of that, and it hate
you for having too much success. So um, just for me,
it was more therapeutic. And I had a lot of
young kids, young guys in the league asked me for advice,

(58:45):
and it's kind of surprising, you know, you get people
that look up to you, but you're still playing and
still you're still competing against them, so um, all those things. Uh,
I feel like it's kind of a way to get
back to the because it's a new age athlete coming up,
especially for the black athlete. You know, we're being exported
it more than ever ncuba Au and kind of how
I navigated through the whole thing. It's kind of like

(59:06):
there's no navigational tools for guys to kind of, you know,
get to the league. They're kind of being pimped throughout
the whole process from you know, age a labman when
they're let's talk about the navigation part. You were saying,
you know, we get exploited a lot, you know, and
a lot of us have sons and daughters that want
to play basketball and it's a tough process. So what
do you suggest that people do? You know, because the

(59:28):
only thing we know is AAU and the high schooling
to the college, and is we never get anything. Well,
I've had many conversations and my son plays ball. It's funny,
he's at Duke camp right now. Wow, you know, and
he grew up different than I did. He grew up
different than we did. And privilege, right, And the one
thing I give to the kids and the parents that

(59:49):
grew up similar to the way we did, is you
gotta do it fun. You got to do it because
you love it. And I always say, these kids nowadays
are living their parents' dreams correct and that's what always
to rail them or no matter where they get either
they don't make it, the parents to rel them another
reason why they didn't make it, or when they do
make it, parents are the reason why they're having mental issues,

(01:00:10):
or they're spending all the money or they're going broke
or they're having all the family problems is because you know,
they did it for all the wrong reasons. So for me,
it's like, listen, just let the kid's gonna make it
or not make it regardless, Like you have nothing to
do with that, Like you can't support them as a parent,
and that's going to help them mentally. But you know,
there's there's a lot of things that we can do differently,
and exploiting the kids that's the worst reason to get

(01:00:33):
them into the sport. So creating our own spaces. We
talked about that a lot. And I even look at
colleges and I look at you know, just imagine if
we had one star even HBCU forty million dollars. Slaves
spoke about that in that book. What if the five
five all went to historically black university or college instead
of going to Michigan and it changed the course of history.

(01:00:54):
You know, they did it with black socks and black nikes.
They could have changed the course of history. And I
was just talking one of the interns she was talking about,
you was talking about, say, I wish I would have
took a visit to Howard. Oh black people, we have
a tendency to think white ice is cold, right, But
that's just the way we see it. Like we grow up,
you know, growing up out saw Michael Jordan the Fast five.
I was like they were like gods to me. So
it was like, you think, that's the only way that

(01:01:16):
you can go to make it. And David West, close
teammate of mind, he's trying to change the trajectory or
the course of what we can do. He's got the
he got a league where instead of going to college
through the NC DOUBLEA, you can go through this league
where they give financial services as far as financial education.
You can actually make money off your likeness. It's just

(01:01:38):
a different avenue. They give you a percentage of your
jersey right right, right right, But they're teaching you all
these twols as well. Because that's one thing I talk
about in the book is we all were exported in
an NC DOUBLEA, especially if you went to a big school.
I went to the University of Arizona, and I remember
seeing the report the larger schools in terms of revenue
basketball team fought to the school We were number two.
And the reason why this the athletic department ran was

(01:02:00):
because of the basketball team. And then it was funny.
I would go to practice and then the volleyball coach
would be like, coach, you know, you guys got called
blanche on the practice time. I know who pays the
bills around here. But I would go a week when
I had like ten dollars and I had to make
ten dollars last food for that week. It was like,
and you an athlete, My jersey was in the store,
like number twenty four was in the store. I would
think it would feed y'all, just to keep y'all healthy.

(01:02:21):
Where they change the rules now where they getting limited food,
But when I was there, you only got food on
game days or they got food sometimes at the practice whatever.
But other than that, you know, he was on and
then but you got the head of the Double A.
You know you can look up the salary right now.
He's a millionaire. You know. So it's just it's just
a system in the how it's been so far. Yeah,
and the book you talk about the racial tension that
exists in the NBA. I would never think that there's

(01:02:42):
any racial tension in the NBA. Like, where does the
majority of that tension come from? Well, I think the
NBA is very forward thinking, one of the every year's
ranked the most tech for sports league in the world.
And then the NBA is one of a marketing powerhouse.
You know, they don't always know how to market the
right things, and if there are any issues or there

(01:03:03):
might be a controversy, they're really good at trying to
stay ahead of it and h not cover it up
because I think David not David Stern, but Adam Silver
does a good job of trying to have the dialect
or dialogue with the players. I could text him right
now here text me back, but it's still weak. The
places we come from are a lot different than our
arena fan base, and you can go look at the

(01:03:24):
Ghost State Warriors. When I first got there, we were
kind of up and coming, and I always say we
priced our real fans out. But but now you look
at it, who's Who's Our fan basis Silicon Valley, which
is the richest community in the world. And you saw
it in the finals, Kyle Lowry goes into the stands
the yeah, the guy grabs him and you read his lips,

(01:03:45):
get out of here, you like, And then I don't
see what happened with Kyle because I know Kyle from
when I was in Philly, he was at Villanova, and uh,
he's going crazy. So that's what community say racial tension.
You just like who just felt privileged, like he could
just do it like dudes worth two point four billion. Yeah,
I'm pretty sure if if the guy looked at Kyle

(01:04:05):
was a different color, he wouldn't like you can kind
of tell was he wasn't in his right state. But
at the same time, that's him reacting naturally, like like
that was kind of crazy. It was whacked that he
was only bad for a year two Now, well it's
more it's more to it, like as far as uh,
it's interesting that he vested in the team, like, oh,
that's gonna be going too. But these crazy valuations. The

(01:04:28):
price of a ticket to the games are crazy. The
average price of a Finals game in Toronto was like
five thousand. That's crazy. So who's able to come to
the games? Yeah, I get what you're saying. Yeah, so
it's all of you got all of these kids, especially
probably in the hood, who really loved basketball, who can't
even come watched their favorite team of players flaw. I
wouldn't say that's a racial tension, but that's who we're
performing in front of. But at the same time, you

(01:04:50):
know there's that two sides gifting the curse. You know,
our salaries are the reason why we can make so
much money is because you know, ticket sales or the
people that spend money on the crazy suites. We have
a new arena growing up and then they've sold already
two billion dollars in ticket sales from that arena. Arenas
not even open yet. No people are saying that the
Warriors are over, that the dynasty is over, right, what

(01:05:12):
do you think you got two men? Dawn? Maybe next
year Clay would be back soon. Katie would be back
to form if he signs. But he'll be back to form, okay,
but um, hopefully he'll be back. He might be out
all next year. But we saw what we did in
the finals, you know, we just right there and we
were like, really, we had three guys break something and
we still had an opportunity. We were one possession away

(01:05:34):
from pushing it to a game seven. So we'll be fine. Um,
big free agency this summer, so we'll be at all. Right.
We have more with andre Iguadolla from the Golden State Warriors.
When we come back don't move. It's to Breakfast Club.
Good morning morning. Everybody is cj Envy Angela yee. Charlomagne,
the guy we are the Breakfast Club was still kicking
it with Andre Iguadalla from the Golden State Warriors. Charlomagne,

(01:05:55):
how do you stay mentally healthy? Because you talk about
your battle with insomnia and the book and I know
you're the vice president of the National Basketball Players so yeah, yeah, yah,
y'all put an emphasis on mental health. So how y'all
gonna keep players mentally healthy? And how do you keep
yourself mentally other? So for me, it's just, uh, I
read a lot. I want to tell you. STEP's a
big fan of the book. He listened to your audio book.
Oh wow, Yeah, he's a huge fan of it, which

(01:06:16):
was weird. I didn't think he would. But anyway, who
because I'm so I'm such a heathen. Y'all so different. Yeah,
because you don't, y'all just so different. I was like,
Step you listen to that? He was like, yeah, man, that,
Joe was amazing. You read it, right, You read your
audio man? Yeah, he was talking about that. He was like,
it's better to read your audio book. You can you
get it. It's better for the story. I didn't get
a chance to I did the introduction of my audio book,

(01:06:37):
but I didn't get a chance to read. You didn't
have time with the finals and you get nominated for
a Grammar if you can about that kind of right, yeah, yeah, okay.
But with the mental health this um for me. He
was reading. So I had it insomnia problem through college
just from stress. Like I had agents I talk about
in the book, I had agent telling me, like agent
saw me after the game, was like, I want to
talk to you. I'm like, for what I want to

(01:06:58):
represent you. I'm like for what he was like the NBA.
I'm like, I'm going to NBA. Like I didn't know
because I was in college. What I'm hearing every day
is you got to get better. You're not good enough yet,
you gotta get better. And what I found out was
a coach was trying to hold me back mentally so
I can stay longer. I stay longer. We obviously gonna
be a much better team. You got NBA players playing

(01:07:19):
on your team. You're gonna be better. But I didn't
know that. So then I was fighting between I'm like
people approaching me about the NBA, Like I never thought
I would go to the NBA, especially this fast. So
I wasn't sleeping like four or five o'clock in the morning.
I'm just up with the anxiety. He said. It was
insanity in the book, but it had to be some
sort of anxiety. And it's both right, but you don't
know that, you just know you up. I can't sleep.
But that stuck with me until my whole career, Like

(01:07:41):
it stuck with me until I got to the Bay,
and I finally was like, you know what, I know,
I got this issue, and that's a big problem in
our community. Were scared to talk to somebody about anything.
So I saw a sleep therapist and I basically did
a study on human body and how you need sleep.
Sleep is like the most important thing of course absolutely
me finding out that I had insomnia changed like my

(01:08:02):
whole life as far as lifestyle and eating and all
that stuff. And then that turned into yoga, and then
from there I started meditating. And like once you find
one thing, it kind of it's a trickle down effect
where you get everything else is in line. But the
hardest part is getting guys to embrace it or to
even do it, Like we did a team exercise where
we did yoga, and the players when they first got

(01:08:23):
there like, man, I'm not doing a yoga that's stupid.
But when they start doing it, like yo, that was
that was like relieving, Like that was that was dope.
And then you just gotta hold yourself accountable. And I
want to do it. So for us, I think we
do things. We got to find a way to make
things cool in order for us to do it. So
you know, we're working on it. And that's another thing
I struggle with is sometimes like a corporation will have

(01:08:44):
a philanthropic and endeavor, but it's not true. It's all
for publicity. So I'm a big fan of Adam Silver
is our commissioner, and we always talk about mental health.
But it's like I don't want to just talk about it,
like I really want to tackle it and get every
player to get some type of help in any type
of way, because we all need it, especially the ones
that come from our backgrounds. And you know, guys who's

(01:09:06):
all the money, it's not because they made four decisions.
It was just the people around them, and the mental
health plays a large part in them losing all their money.
But I think that's not knowing as well too. You know,
I always say that, you know, coming from a lot
of our environments, we just don't learn certain things. Right.
Our parents work thirty forty years of their life and
they sit back and retire. They don't know about investing.
They don't know about anything, you know. So for us
is just we don't have the knowledge a lot of times,

(01:09:27):
and we're afraid to admit what we don't know. And
we think we're gonna get taken advantage of if we
admit we don't know. That's true, right. You know what's
interesting about the mental health aspect of it, right because
the reason I meditated, because I'm always looking for stillness.
I feel like NBA players would would be the best
at that because y'all got to block out all the
board when y'all on the court, y'all gotta block out
the crowd. When y'are shooting free throws, you gotta block

(01:09:49):
out the crul like y'all just gotta be focused in
that moment. I would think it would be easy for
y'all to get focused in meditation or the opposite, where
our only pieces when we're on the court. Wow, you
know what I mean, that's the only piece you get.
Like the family is a tricky thing, man, Like that's
the majority of the downfalls, especially when you got money,
when you're the person in your family that's a millionaire, right,

(01:10:10):
And talking to the white players like I think I've
Kyle Cover had a big article about it, and he
was like, you know, y'all, you guys an understand what
these guys are going through. We were teammates. I remember
he and I were in a meeting team. We're talking
about finances, like one of those mandatory meetings, and I
was like, you know, I take care of my mom,
my brother, cousin, uncle, grandma, my grandma house, blah blah blah.

(01:10:32):
He was like, you pay your parents bills? Why would
you do that? Really? Because that's not that's not then
the culture. So there was like he was like, why
would you pay your mom's bill? And I was like,
you don't pay He was like, no, why would I
do that? Like he was like what do you mean?
Like he was so lost to it, but we're looking
at him like you don't help your mom out? You know.
So when we are on the court, that's a lot

(01:10:53):
of guys. Piece. I just with the Aisha Curry stuff,
because that came out during the finals about I guess
she did the Red Table talking you, and she was
like she wants to feel special, and everybody was hey,
big head, and they was posting pictures of Drake and
her and hardening her and big How did he deal
with that? I don't see too many things like rattle him,
like this is like the epitome of a perfect person.

(01:11:16):
But he grew up in the NBA too, He grew
up in the environment, so he's seen it before. Like
he understanding, Like his mom's like a public figure as well.
His mom and his dad were together. They were kind
of known as like the perfect couple or whatever. So
he's seen everything, so I feel like he knows how
to navigate it. I mean, obviously, you know, he's like
any other married couple. They probably go through their stuff
or absolutely, But I don't know how he does it,
to be honest with you, especially all that fame he got. Yeah,

(01:11:38):
he's got to be dealing with his owner's health. My
last book is all about anxiety and going to therapy,
so why it had to be something that made him
read listen to that? Yeah, Yeah, but I don't know
I'm gonna ask him one day, like I don't know
how he does it, and also ask him to tell
him don't be afraid to post my book. You know
what I'm saying. Tell him God God will really bless
him for that. And I love the dedication in the book.

(01:11:58):
He said, you said to the young fellas, stay black
to you two young fellas. So that's my son growing up.
Every time I left the house, like every day, I
got that same message from my mom, all right, stay
black every day, as if we have a choice, right, No,
she was saying, like stay black. Know who you are.
Realize it, like when you're going out to the world,
stay black, Like don't change for nothing, Embrace who you are.

(01:12:21):
So I have to always remind him, like, look, you
go to school. This school is very diverse, private school,
but it's diverse. But he's one of the few black
boys it's on It's only a couple of like one
hundred black boys. It's like three or four that I
know around his age. And I'm like, man, you gotta
be able to maneuver when you get pulled over by
the cops. You gotta be able a maneuver when you're
at school or no matter where you're at, like especially

(01:12:44):
in this neighborhood, you gotta be careful. I mean he's
like he's lighter, light, complexant, so it's not going to
be as bad. But he hasn't having awareness and I
always try to get him to, you know, understanding. But
we appreciate you for joining us. Yeah, pick up the book.
Six men and Katie and Clay coming back next year.
Pretty sure? Pretty sure? Pretty sure? K D two. I
think Katie's coming back. I hope he does. I mean

(01:13:05):
we wanted to come back prior to the injury. Did
you think he was leaving a gun? I didn't know.
That's a hard part of two. It's like every day
we had to deal with that, like the whole year
you had to deal with it. Is Katie coming back?
It was like, man, man, I hope, so yeah, like
what you want me to say. But at the same time,
it's like, you know where they're smoked, there's a fire,
so it's like, well, who's putting out these reports? Sometimes
it fake? You don't know what's what? You know? It's

(01:13:26):
the drama to the NBA heard they're going to the Knicks.
Though that's what I heard. I don't know, man, I

nothing like that. So I'm gonna start off with an interview.
I a lot of saying, you know, try to get
a little tough to skin. I know a lot of
times you didn't take jokes. You let's stuff rode off
your shoulders. But every now at the end, you're making
your real realist. My brother, I don't know if I
get SENSI don't get sensive. What you mean I think?
I think if he has very tough skin, just joking,

(01:18:49):
he takes a lot. They shut up, you do. I
gotta say, what did you get sensitive about that? That
was probably gay? But I take a lot. You stop
with y'all, man, I don't know. I think everything Jay,
I see nah nah no, know that all right, nixt yes,
you do the rule of report. You know what I'm
saying and read. I graduated from Florida State with a

(01:19:11):
communications degree, and one thing we was taught is to
be a reporter now to repeat. So a lot of
times when you're giving a rule of report, you know,
charlot man have a follow up question for you, and
you're like, well, I don't know, I don't know. That's
just what they saying. What I read that? Yeah, I mean,
leg I can't make these things up because I get
liable for that, you know, But I had, like, like

(01:19:32):
I said, simple follow up question. It's a legend. Your
your research a little bit farther, you know, the report
it to us and not just repeat sounds. Like you
repeat that what you heard in class. Go ahead. I
definitely did because I learned that. Well, you just told
me not to repeat things, and you just did that. Well,
I'm not reporting that. I'm trying to give you a
little constructive criticism, right and Charlot many I never probably

(01:19:53):
seen to you, my brother. I remember back in the
day where at first I listened. You know, everybody would
like right going you a being legal or you know,
saying anything with a bad location. But lately, man, he's
get real positive. You've been uplifting people. You're doing a
lot of great things. Thank you for holding down for
dark Camp brothers. Oh my god, what is with this?
Because everybody shut up? Don't cut him off when he's

(01:20:15):
complimenting me. Continue to shut up now, I said, he
has no more continue anything else. No, no, I was
just saying, like, thank yall, all of y'all for what
y'all do. I appreciate like that. I wanted to plan
to you to start the Christians. You know what come about.
I agree. I agree with everything you said. I don't
especially the part about me. I definitely disagree with that. Anyway,

Given some positivity. The positive notice simply this man. Learn
to ask questions. It is always better to ask questions
than to make assumptions. Have the courage to ask questions
until you are as clear as you can be. Once

to make assumptions because you will know the truth.
