Good morning, usc yo yo yo yo yo yo yo

yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo.
Let me peep through the planet. Is Monday, and we
got our guest co host Jason Lee back Jason lis Hell.
Hollywood have locked in the host of other things job
(00:21):
cluncle Jason Lee. They said, you know, they said the
first yobbe last and the last should be first. I
was the first, and now I'm back. That's right back?
Can I be the last? Week? Where do people at
the bag? How you feeling serving? And I took adderall,
I'm up this one. He took add up. I've seen
your party on a week in New York City on
(00:41):
a weekend. Here. I love it here. This is my
favorite city. You were at what I seen you at
the dinner? I seen you at clubs? What you do
all weekend night? I went to the Okay, I landed
at six. I would checked in at eight. I was
at Miss Lilies by eleven. I went to Progola at
five thirty. Then I went to five thirty in the
wood afternoon, Oh, then boxers at when he said he
mended a sixth morning at night. Oh, I was out
(01:01):
all day. Then I ended up back in Miss Lady's
till like four thirty anymore. I don't know what. I think.
I'm getting too old for this, damn. But I was thinking.
I was thinking about you because I was gonna go
out last night and just come in like right off
the club. It's about eleven thirty. I went to sleep.
That's the responsible decision as it was. Yeah, because you know,
new edition was in town. Shout the new edition. It
was here this week they last day to predential. But
(01:24):
I knew if I went to New Edition to see
that performed last day that I knew it wasn't gonna
I wasn't gonna make it. Nah, I'm gonna chare Dad.
I didn't none of that. This weekend I was chaired that.
I was in Rhode Island at my daughter's cheer leading competition.
How she do? Oh, I think there was third place
something like that. I think it was third place pretty much.
It was third place. It was third place. And then
Friday I was with La La Man. You know La
(01:45):
La has her foundation Land Foundation and they do she
has her programming writers Island three sixty. Yea. She had
a charity event on Friday where she, you know, saluted
some of the people that's doing this work as far
as prison reform, like Jessica Jackson and took Sam and
you know, she was just raising money for three sixties.
So salute the la la man. She out here doing
God's work. Somebody sent me a sneaky pick of you
(02:07):
and there. It was like, what a Charlotte be doing there?
I was like, I don't know. I was hosting it.
See if they was really there, they would know what
I was doing. Now it was you. That mellow was
on the side. Yeah, yeah, I was hosting that. That's
the semi picture kind of sneaky pick with somebody to
take on. Listen, I'd let that one slide right by.
He said, a sneaky picker you. I was looking at
Hollywood and like to see if we posted it. I
wonder how do y'all sleep? Because you be in Oakland?
(02:28):
You are? It was in the Bay Area. I was
in San Francisco for the weekend. Of course, they have
the Fallback in Love comedy gym. That's what Monica Tray songs,
Mario Jack Queens, Little Duvall yeah, yeh, that's pretty much
what it is. Yeah, yeah, I sleep on a plane
five hours. Knock right out, y'all beginning around. No, I
need my sleep sleep. I need to be in between
(02:48):
those eighteen hundred threadcount sheets. Okay, I need to be
jumping up in the middle of the night because I'm
about to have a dream that I'm peeing, so I
got to run to the bathroom. I need my rest rest.
All right, Well, let's get the show crack in front
page news. Tesla figurero will be joining us in a
little bit. Donald Trump, is he going to jail? Is he?
How is he not? We'll find out when we come back.
No movies to Breakfast Club of the Morning Morning. Everybody
(03:09):
is j Envy Charlomagne, the guy. We are the Breakfast
Club on this Monday. We got our co host, Jason Lee,
and let's get in some front page news. Not Tesla
figure It's back on the West coast, but she's holding
us down. Let's start off with some restiping morn pieces.
Good morning. Let's start off with Lance Reddick, passed away
(03:30):
at the age sixty. You might know him from the
Wire and the host of other movies. I don't passed
over the weekend, right, Yeah, they said he was doing
interviews the day before the new John Wick movies Natural Causes.
Suddenly at sixty, that's way too young, Togo. I'm starting
to see too many brothers pass away early. And there's
no reason why we have audio of them. Here. This
(03:53):
case ends or you are done. I don't even need
you to lock up box down. How have your major
brief your detectives type the warrant himself? This case is done.
You do what you feel. You want to pull a
Buney on half a case, you go ahead. That was
him on the wire, of course, so definitely arrest in
(04:14):
piece to lambs Reddick. Also, we got to send the
rest in piece to Sean Lambkin. Now, if you don't
know who Sean Lambkin is, he was in Martin. He
was fifty four years old. He played the bar owner Nipsie.
So he died over the weekend at the age of
fifty four. That is so. Yeah, it makes mortality real
because you started doing it. Man, You're like, that's just
(04:34):
nine more years. Yeah, because well that's why you forty
four years old. Are you born in the late nineteen hundreds, Yes,
that's way too young. I need all my years. I
want to be around for what he said, in seven years,
we might can be immortal. You didn't see that. No,
oh man, y'all have to look that up. Man. It's
something that I forgot what it's call. But it's something
they can put in your system, like cure all diseases,
(04:54):
reverse aging. That's what they're saying. But in part too,
was sixty years old and was likely he was in shape.
It seemed like he was still acting, was moving around.
It's just weird, and they say natural causes. Now let's
talk about Donald Trump. Has what's going on with Donald Trump?
Is he getting arrested? Is he not? What's going on?
New honey? Donald Trump got the cable news streets on fire. Now,
(05:19):
this is a very complex case. So I'm going to
try to just run through a couple of bullet points.
But I do want to remind everybody look into this,
follow it. Read everything that you possibly can. So former
President Donald Trump predicted on Saturday morning that he would
be arrested on Tuesday, which is tomorrow, for his role
in making an alleged one hundred and thirty thousand dollars
(05:41):
hush money payment to adult film star actress Stormy Daniels. Now,
he allegedly paid this money to silence her about an
affair that she claims he had a lot of y'all
remember that back when you know, he was running and
people were bringing up the Stormy Daniels case. So, now,
if this is true and the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin
bragg Us charge Trump, this will be the first time
(06:02):
in US history that a former president has faced criminal charges. Now,
legal experts say that the charge of falsifying documents will
more than likely result in a misdemeanor. There are some
legal experts that say it can get bumped up to
a felony, but more likely, more likely than not, if
they move forward with this, it would be a misdemeanor charge. Now,
(06:23):
as you know, and I always got to repeat, I'm
an independent, I'm not a Democrat a Republican. So I
want to give you both sides of the game. Now,
the Democrats are saying, you know, nobody's above the law
and he needs to go to jail misdemeanor or not.
And the Republicans, like Vice President Pence, says that this
is a politically charged prosecution. Now, on Saturday, Trump posted
on his Trump His Truth social media platform for his
(06:45):
supporters to protest and take the country back. In other words,
he says, stand back and stand by. And then the
New York City Police, State Court officers, Secret Service, the FBI,
let me translate, they said, cool, you want to stand
back and stand by, We're gonna stand back to this,
Saint January six, sat what you want? Come to New
York and you're gonna find out. Now the thing about
this envy Jason and Charlottamagne, we don't even know if
(07:07):
any of this is gonna happen, but that is the rundown.
Trump got ahead of the story as usual in true
Trump brand, and just kind of threw it out there,
so we don't know, you know what's really gonna happen.
You know, it's interested right, He's using threats of violence
to like escape prosecution. That's what happens in dysfunctional country.
So is it okay to admit that our country is
totally dysfunctional at this point? It's okay to admit that
(07:29):
our country is totally this it's been dysfunctional for a while.
Let me ask you a question. Test I'm playing a
devil's advocate right, fast, right, White's white, devil's advocate, right.
I have no love for Trump, but I do have
a question. Right, So, if Trump had one hundred and
thirty thousand and he wanted to pay somebody to be quiet,
and that was his money, he didn't get it from
campaign money, he didn't get it stolen money, what's the issue.
(07:50):
I don't know. I'm just asking, Well, it's falsifying documents,
and there's some questions, and I don't want to do
a bunch of until the evidence actually comes out. But
where that money came from, if it came from, and
paying funds, if it was supposed to be for something else.
That's what Michael Cohen has been on the stage. I've
been on the stage, understand, telling telling, you know, he's
been really telling people. Okay, well, I don't until the
(08:12):
until the evidence comes out. I don't want to say
for certain because there's a lot of alleged and then
folks who think I'm making you know, uh statements, but
allegedly you know, the funds, where they came from a questionable,
How the funds were paid, what they said the funds
will be used for is in question. Um, so all
of that you know is what's in question. And actually
Michael Cohen he will be again um being interviewed again
(08:35):
uh today to give more testimony. Even though he's done
it a million times and wrote a whole book about it,
They're still interview on him today. You know what I
was wondering too, tell because all weekend long I saw
them say it. Out of out of everything that he
potentially could be charged with on a federal level and
state level, these are the weakest charges. So I wonder
how this will impact the potential charges in Georgia. Are
the potential charges on the federal level, Yeah, well, for
(08:56):
sure it is. It is one of the weaker charges.
And but what the trying to do is, and you know,
I don't want to say, I'm using the word stack
the deck, you know, to say, Okay, if they if
they give them this charge, and then they go to
Georgia and give them another charge, and then let's look
and see what may happen on the federal level. It's
not that they will all come together, but it's it's
kind of painting the narrative that basically you're about to
(09:18):
have somebody run for prison, run for president in the
United States, that that is fighting multiple charges in multiple states. Now,
just to be clear, he can still run for president's guys,
So those of you who are listening and said, oh
this is gonna you know, stop him for run for president. No,
you can absolutely run for president. You can be a
convicted of felon and be in prison. In fact, y'all
remember Tiger Joe Joe Tiger with his name. He just
(09:39):
failed to run for president as well from prison that
he literally president. He just literally president from prison. So
I'm not a Trump supporter, but like how many guys
I know a lot of guys in the hood that
pay to have this sight chick getting abortion? Is that
(10:00):
bad too? I mean, you're using campaign money probably here.
I'm sure people didn't hit you and Jason and asked
to give you some money to take the stories down.
Howe did. So these aren't elected officials and they're not
using campaign money to do it. That's the problem campaign.
I just wanted to know why the black guy gotta
be first, Why Alban Brad gotta be the first person,
Why why he gotta leave the charge? Didn't Mary Mary
Garland and one of the white boys in Georgia to
(10:21):
be leading the charge against prison charges against Trump. Well,
they're trying, but you know that that matter is. And
again I'm just playing devil's advocate, just telling you what
them folks say. It's a lot harder to get him
on the January sixth because it's not a direct connection,
even though we all saw what we saw and we
know what we know. The difference in this case is
you actually have witnesses that are confirming that he did
(10:44):
these things with the hush money. So we're going to
see if it's gonna go down to tomorrow. All right, Well,
we'll see you next hour. Test get it all a a
few chests eight hundred five A five one oh five one.
If you need to vent, phone lines to wide open again.
Eight hundred five A five one oh five one. It's
the Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club. Ray Ray, Ray, Yo,
(11:08):
Charlotte man, Dancy, what up are we lying? This is
your time to get it off your chest? Pool outdoor pool.
We want to hear from you on the Breakfast Club.
Can get on the phone right now. We here tell
you what it is. Hello, who's this Jose Morning? Dj
VU was up to Jason Lee Jason as well. Whoever's
(11:31):
promoting the April Fools Comedy gam why they put three
three flyers in my car and loaded up East New York,
you know what? And I respect the fact that they're
doing that because usually people just put it on Instagram.
But they got a team out there working, so they
should have put five flies on the car. That means
they're working. They're they're working on every tree. I turned
(11:52):
around every post. I didn't even think it was real.
I thought it was again. I think you're about the
April Fools Brooklyn right now. I don't think the baby's
falling up. And I didn't know it was funny because
of music like DJ Ya. I was like, oh, I
got a call him now now I'm definitely DJ no
music j Yeah, my whole YouTube. No, that's definitely gonna
be DJ And that's the April Food Day comedy April First.
That's actually ripped Michaels from wilding out. He he does
(12:14):
that each and every year, shout the rip Hello, who's this?
But's up? Djay Envy? This is Huber? Mike? How y'all doing? Uber?
Mike was like, what's happening? Brother? Uh? They're doing? Hey?
What's up? Jason League? How y'all doing what what's happening? Hey?
M D and Charlot. Man wanted to thank y'all so much. Uh,
I went and got my quote, and last week they
found something damn. So it's being tested. Man, Yes, but
(12:34):
I wanted to thank for y'all. Second, how many pop? Three? Yeah?
I mean, but but I mean they could tell if
you had anything as of right now? Did you have
anything else right now? No? Nothing right now? That's good'll test,
they'll test those polyps and then hopefully it comes back clean.
If not, they found it early, and then they'll make
sure that you I guess they'll get you in about
(12:55):
another five to seven years to make sure nothing else
possed back up. But you could have just saved your life. Brother,
that's right. The doctor said I I needed to come
back in three games. So I'm like, wow, okay, how
old are you? I'm pretty fine. You got a history
of it in your family? No? No history? Well, I'm
about to be a generational curse breaker. You're gonna make you.
Nobody else got it moving forward? They know to get tested.
(13:15):
Thank god. You want to thank y'all man all love brother,
I got it too. Okay, you got your color ouph me.
They found two polo. They found two polo to go
back in three years. Yeah, but they removed in so
any cancer. So no, no, that's perfect. Hello, who's this?
What's up? Ivery? What's up? Trap? What's up? What's our star? Trap?
What up? Sis? What's the word? Oh Jason, Jason, here
(13:37):
we go. I don't go ahead? So as I passed,
so as I posted the fly yesterday, I know his
gass is called up in the morn. I miss you girl,
don't star, I missed you bad. I'm good. That's good.
That's good. I'm calling talking about So. Look, they got
this DLS re lives going around and Philly when they
(13:58):
put all these boys on the just causing like this
up where all these girls is banking the seedon list
and call all these men gage what I follow with that?
What is it? It's a d L list Philly Lives?
Send me the link, Send me the link. Jason wants
to confirm, to confirm some of them I followed to
of them want to live. I followed to of them
(14:20):
on the list. But my problem with it is they
don't even know if these men that really gave it
could be some a heart Rode gay boy who just
had a crushaurant from the straight Man and it's mens
list up and it's out here calling men gay. Is
Charlemagne on the list? I'm down from Philly and I
wouldn't be there. You are on the list, or I
wouldn't be on the download though. What's the point of
(14:40):
being on the download? The point because because people don't
like to come out, because people treat people differently, people
lose friends, people lose family. Like when I came out
without twenty one, I lost a lot of straight through it.
You're not me though, I'll be popping I falls out, Jason,
Come on now, I tell them so, I mean these
street but I'm he would be a ran through bottom.
(15:03):
I would not be ran through the bottom. I'll be
top tier trade out here, Okay, the top tier trade.
Who's teaching you this way? Though? My community? Get it
from chest eight hundred five eight five one on five one.
If you need to vent it is up now, Jason
Lee see how co host is the breakfast Club? Good
morning the breakfast Club audiologists for the past three months
(15:26):
into the symbol. I don't want a heart monitor. I
didn't had it to where they put the ink inside
you to march because I just wanted to make sure. Yeah,
last week they did. They did the Dawn of Graham,
they did the ain't they did distress test. I did
distress test yet the distress test at the cooladoscopy. Need
to take the man to the doctor. But the men
(15:46):
don't want to go to the doctor. That's why I'm
so single. Anyway, Are you single, Mama? No, listen, it's
hard to find a man. That's my calibos man that
I'm looking for. Don't you do it when you for
sell yourself short fifty four empty a bus operator, that's right. Oh,
you're the bus out for the Bronx. That's right. Don't
(16:08):
sell yourself. Sure you're only fifty four. You're gonna find
love by sixty. No, if it's not find in love,
it's just white bus sixty. What I'm saying is I
don't want nobody to sick. I got you. You might
want to tell some of the people you pick up,
but when you get sick, I can take key of you.
But I don't want to keep you sick already. Let
some of the people you pick up on the bus
(16:29):
excuse me what you pick up some of the passages
on the bus. When you pick them up, you might
say a cute acute? Do you hot at him? Let
me explain something to you. At least you know where
I work. I don't know where you work. I get
what you're saying. All right, that's real. I mean, come on,
all right, you boogie bus driving, not boogie. But if
(16:51):
I have a lock on the one, you have to
come close. Yeah, but don't forget Warren Buffett goes and
McDonald's every day. Excuse me, no, warm Buffett is mama.
I didn't say anything about a guy or working McDonald's.
Here's the more story, man, man, McDonald's makes some good money.
(17:15):
That's right, that your blessing might being McDonald's. That's all
Jason Lee trying to say, okay, the story. I agree
with you. You stop gods and find me your husband.
Now you work for her? You say round, jad I'm
gonna post that today. I got you, Jason, Jason too,
Billy sleeping with your future husband. Probably what I'm saying
this is a husband with them. Listen, this is why
(17:40):
the doctor don't have a job. You don't have a
non thinking comment. I'm getting the tire. You so you
just need to be a lesbian. No what you here's
nothing I hit for you. Clearly you got can't find
a man being a lesbian? What what advice? N Mama's wonderful?
(18:02):
You find somebody, you got good benefits. You're about to
retire you you find somebody good? If not fine, if somebody, Lord,
you're making me tired. I'm gonna praying for you. Baby,
you have a good one. I'm gonna pray for you.
Have a minute, I gonna pray for you. I have
a good one. Mom, have a great thing right. Don't
let you do back how you get mad with somebody
(18:22):
saying it. Gonna pray for you, pray for you, for you.
I try to use an analogy about never know when
your love gonna tell me. I don't want to go
to make Donna get it off your chest. Eight hundred
and five eight five one on five one. If you
need to vent and you can hit us up now
when we come back. We got rumors. What are we
talking about in the rumors? Give us a little tea? Yea.
The gloves are off and the girls are fighting. Tamar
Braxton came out swinging at Candy Burst. Wow, all right,
(18:44):
we'll get to that next. It don't move. It's to
Breakfast Club. Go morning, I co holt Jason les here
the Breakfast Club. This is the rumor report on the
Breakfast Club. You know you hear your your intro? Wait,
I got an intro playing getting full man, I'm hearing.
Jesus he didn't have to master the tea thing. The
(19:06):
only place I want to come and talk to about
was here because I really feel like everybody in the
culture pays attention off. But I knew I can talk
my talk to me. This if the RULEI report on
the Breakfast Club. Okay, Taylor game now right, Jason League,
they might as well just get the bag today and
give me this a throne that I could sit on pause,
(19:27):
just on the game, all right, So we'll just get
right into it. Tamar Braxon, the gloves are off. Tamar
Braxton wants to put hands on Candy Birs. I'm absolutely
sure that How did that happened? That escalated quickly? No, listen,
December nineteenth. The reason why we were talking about January
sixth earlier. I remember December nineteenth because that's when Tamar
had posted on her Instagram that she was almost beat
(19:49):
up by some real housewives of Atlanta girls. And you know,
I didn't know who the girls were, so I called
her and she told me it was todd in Candy. Now,
I don't know why they wanted to beat her up,
but there was that a photo that she had posted
that or a photo that I found online that I
sent to her, and I said, what is going on?
And she said that she was accosted backstage by Candy
and her husband. Well, that team never got spilled until
(20:12):
the other night when she went on Watch What Happens
Live with Andy Cohen and a fan called in and
asked her a messy a question, And this is what
happened him. Hi, Andy, and Hi our hushionist. Who was
the Atlanta housewife that you hinted about having beef with
on Instagram? I and her and her husband threatened to you.
He pulled his in. It was Eva, it was not
(20:37):
Was she a full housewife? She's a full house Oh
my god, it's not Candy. Oh. I thought you and
Candy mended everything after a big brother. I thought so too.
I had no idea. Wow, I tell you the story later, Sonny,
We're gonna jump up. Well, she was I guess they
were performing somewhere. There was a picture that was found
(21:00):
online of a man who I think was dating Tamar
at the time, approaching another man which looked like Todd
if you zoom in. So I sent her the photo.
I said, what happened? She said she had got off stage,
he had come up to her Todd and approached her
and started to be real reckless. She didn't really get
into much of the details of what was going on,
but she did feel like that that you know, there
was a physical altercation that could happened. Well, apparently after
(21:21):
her man approached Todd and had a conversation, you know,
she didn't really want to be messing going online about it.
But yeah, so now that it's out, apparently Candy one
of the beef. Wow. I wonder if, like all of
these individuals weren't involved in reality TV, would they have
so much drama and mess surrounding their lives. I wonder, well, well, Candy,
I think you know, let me first start by saying,
(21:42):
because everybody's gonnay, why you're taking black woman. Though I
loved Candy an escape, I loved her on the show
when she had a storyline that made sense when Fader
was there and they had all the sex gay where
he said they were in the dungeon or allegedly you know,
doing three sims and stuff. She had an interesting story online.
Since we've been critical about her not having a storyline
and being a boring house who even't need to be replaced,
she's been a mean girl on these streets. She just
recently was rude to one of my staff at the Grammys.
(22:04):
Um and I have I have a feeling have after
talking to lots of people in her peer group, that
Candy is a bully. I think the Candy is a bully.
Really absolutely, I've never got that impression to Candy. Yeah,
I mean evil, Yeah, not at all time. They seem
like cool people. Well, there's what you see on TV
reality and what you see in real life. Now I
will tell you her agent. She got an agent named
Nick Roses. Let me go ahead and put his name
(22:25):
out there, because I told him I was gonna slap
his ass. He's messy. All of them are messy. But anyway,
what Jason calling somebody messy? They messy, messy, messy. Yeah.
But Tamar, you know, I asked her at the time
when this was posted, Uh, you know, was it real?
And what's going on? Are you trying to get on
the housewid in Atlanta? Because this is how storylines happen.
You know, she's out in the Atlanta now and the
(22:46):
show is kind of boring without nine and uh and
porscha and so yeah, I don't know. See I don't
watch this show, but all over here is people talking
about the candies of the world. But it's also because
Candy such an entrepreneur. You know what I meant, all
these businesses going her restaurants slap a restaurant good? So like,
do you have to when when they say boring is
(23:06):
because just because she's not being messy or not being
they wants Yes, okay, yeah, this is what they want. Okay,
So that's what happened. When do you outgrow reality television
once you become an entrepreneur when you're doing positive things? Yes? Wow,
Well we got more Candy news later on. There's another
story she out here starting fights with other R and
B girls online. Jesus, all right, I'm gonna land it
(23:28):
this week. I was gonna go by there. What's that
what's the name of her restaurant, Old Old Lady Game? Yeah,
she got two now though I saw a state place
she got now too. I saw them wilding that. Now
the soul, the soul spot, it's popping. They got this
little salmon bike school. Okay, all right, but anyway, and
when we come back, we got front page news. Tesling
figure is gonna be joining us. We're talking about your president,
Donald Trump. Will get to the NeXT's the breakfast Club,
the Morning the breakfast Club. Your morning's will never be
(23:51):
the same. I old on a pick of the Day

(24:12):
and let's get in some front page news. Donald Trump.
What's going on with Donald Trump? Is he getting arrested?
Is he's not? What's going on? Well, one thing for sure,
Donald Trump has the cable news streets on fire. And
I'm going to try to do my best to go
through the top points that we want everybody to pay
attention to, but as always, I encourage you to do
your own research and follow. Now, former President Donald Trump
(24:35):
predicted on Saturday morning that he would be arrested on
Tuesday for his role in making an alleged one hundred
and thirty thousand dollars hush money payment to adult film
stars Stormy Daniels. Now, he allegedly paid this money to
silence her about an affair that she claims that they had,
and that money, like we were discussing before, allegedly key word,
(24:56):
allegedly broke campaign finance law. So that's how it became issue.
And a lot of you guys probably remember them talking
about it when he was running for office. So all
of this time, you know, they've been trying to, I
guess see what they were going to do with this case.
And now the time has come that allegedly Manhattan District
Attorney Alvin Bragg has decided to move forward on charges. Now, again,
(25:17):
we do not know this. This is just what Trump
put out and said that it was leaked. The district
attorney has not confirmed this, but Trump said that it's happening,
is going down on Tuesday, and if it does, this
will be the first time in US history that a
former president has faced criminal charges. Now, legal experts say
that the charge of falsifying documents will more than likely
result in a misdemeanor. Depending on evidence, he can get
(25:39):
bumped up to a felony, but the reality is more
than likely it would be just a misdemeanor charge. Now,
because I'm an independent, I'm not a Democratic Republican, I
want to show tell you both sides of it. And
Democrats were saying, you know, this is no one's above
the law. You know, he needs to go to jail,
lock him up. And Republicans Vice President Penn has said
(26:00):
that this is politically charged and this is all about,
you know, preventing him or putting some type of damper
on his possible run for twenty twenty four. Now, on Saturday,
Trump said that on his Truth social media platform for
his supporters to protest and take the country back. So
basically he told him to stand back and stand by.
So as response, as a response to that, New York
(26:22):
City police, state court officers, the Secret Service, and the FBI,
let me translate, said okay, cool, you want to stand
back and stand by we're gonna do that too, this
Saint January six and saying what you want. So they
said they will be ready for whatever is going down.
The thing about this is, guys, we don't even know
if this is even happening. We don't know if it's
going to be Tuesday. Something said maybe Thursday. We don't
even know what's going down. But since Trump threw it
(26:44):
out there, in true Trump fashion, he wanted to get
ahead of the story. And so this is where we are. Yeah,
the thing about Trump, he's really teflon don So you know,
to me, this is just gonna make him larger than life.
If they make all of this noise for a misdemeanor
and he don't get like and he don't get locked up,
He's going to turn this into all another attack from
the woke, and then his campaign donations are gonna go up,
and it's gonna put a lot more energy into his
(27:07):
campaign going into twenty twenty four. Not to mention, he
just got ran stated on Facebook and Twitter till and YouTube.
I think yep, And it's already happening. Donations are already
coming in. Republicans are a locking step with their messaging,
you know, getting ahead of it saying that, yeah, this is,
you know, once again an attack on the right, and
it's throwing the Santas off, who we know may possibly
(27:28):
be running against Trump, and how he's going to maneuver
around that. It's really putting Republicans in a pickle because
they don't know if they should support Trump or not
saying anything at all. But since Trump does run the
Republican Party, believe it or not, it's we're gonna see
how they respond to it if this goes down, even
him using threats of violence to escape prosecution, like that's
what happens in dysfunctional countries. And like I said, he's
(27:49):
absolutely gonna turn this into an attack from the woke,
being that Alvin Bragg is black and antist James the
ag from NYC, she's a black woman. She was pushing
for Alvin Bragg to press these charges. He's gonna definitely
say this is a attack from the wall and the
optinks of it being a black man Alvin Bragg. Oh,
he's gonna use that to his advantage. Now I ask you,
I just want to confirm again, So he's not getting
(28:09):
arrested or maybe he is. Is he getting arrested because
if he had add one hundred thirty thousand dollars and
it's his money and he wanted to hunt somebody up
from telling something or one of his secret past histories
or whatever, that's that's not a crime. But the fact
that he allegedly got it from someplace out the financial
it's the campaign money, correct, the campaign money, and then
falsifying the documents because when you say, okay, this is
(28:30):
campaign money and I'm going to use it for X,
y Z and use it for something else, and you're
falsifying document. So Michael Cohen has obviously been very a
vocal you know, about this transaction. He was involved in
this transaction. He's actually gonna be giving more testimony today.
He's done it several times. He's wrote a book about it.
You know, he's put on a tour about this. So
this case is a little bit stronger than January six.
(28:52):
A lot of us want to see or a lot
of folks want to see Trump in trouble for what
he did for January six, but it's it's a little
more complicated because they don't have the evidence to just
immediately charge him, but in this case they do because
you got Michael Cohen, who's telling telling? So Michael Cohen,
he did, he did hell of a week with us
task and uh I forgot who wasn't on the panel
(29:15):
that week. And just so um, everybody is clear, he
can still run for office even if he's charged, even
if he's convicted. In fact, uh, what's his name, Exotic Joe,
Tiger Joe or whatever his name is, Tiger King. He
literally just filed to run for president for twenty twenty
four from prison. So prison doesn't stop anybody from running.
(29:35):
So it's not gonna stop the overall mission. And I
think I think it will make him stronger for sure.
You know what does it does task It keeps him
in the news cycle. Like the timing it is kind
of really couldn't be worse. Like y'all don't want to
hear Trump's you know, legal stuff he's dealing with all
throughout twenty twenty four. On top of everything else he's
gonna be doing while he's campaigning, He's gonna dominate the
(29:56):
news cycle. Sure, he's a master when it comes to media.
That's why he threw it out there, and that what
I want to throw out there is I want to
know that if these protests come to New York, well
they be met with the same energy if it was
black folks. You know, are they are? They gonna be
tough on crime, but they're gonna start stopping and frisking
everybody with a red hat. That's what I wanted with
that smoke. Gonna look like if they come to New
York now that I'm promoting violence, I just want to
(30:18):
see if they show up, you know, how is it
gonna go down? I was gonna say, I can't wait
to see how many taxpayer dollars y'all paid for the
security that for all of that been a lot of money.
Hasn't been a lot of money. Absolutely, No, I'm not
gonna happen tomorrow though, We're not gonna happen if they're
still taking witnesses to day. He's not getting They're not
gonna do all that paperwork and indite him by tomorrow.
(30:39):
I'm gonna stop by and be outside with the phone
before we go. I want you to talk about this
black family. It seems like they were pulled over before
traffic stopping Tennessee, and I guess child Services took their kids. Yeah,
this is crazy. It's been trending a lot on Twitter,
so I wanted to get this story out. Bianca Claiborne
and Dante Williams were tracked from Georgia to Chicago for
(31:02):
a funeral when they were pulled over in Coffee County, Tennessee. Now.
According to the affidavit, the traffic stop was for having
dark tenant windows and using a left lane without actively passing.
That's crazy as hell. I'm sorry, I just got inserted.
Who got time to pull something? Pulled over? That crazy?
It was. It was like three in the morning. We
were in the left lane because you know, the woods
(31:23):
were on the right side. We didn't want new deads
and animals to come out, and they definitely pulled us over.
That is crazy as hell. So they pulled them over.
I guess the cop didn't have anything else to do, so,
according to court documents, after being pulled over, the state
trooper smelled ver juana and then found five grounds and
a gun in the car of a convicted felon. Now,
no evidence of those charges being fouled have been released,
(31:45):
but this is what they're alleging now because the children
were with them during the incident. The Department of Child
Services said in a petition that there was probable cause
that the children were neglected and right and there was
no less drastic alternative other than taking the children from
their parents, which is just ridiculous. The children include a
breastfeeding four month old, two or three or five or
(32:06):
seven year old, and they were forcibly removed from the
mother's side as she waited for mister Williams. Now, attorneys
for the couple have described this as extreme and abnormal
and a violation of parents' rights. So before we discuss,
I want to give you just a little bit more
context because I am interested to see what the Breakfast
Club family has to say about this, you know in
the comments. Now, mister Williams was arrested and then they
(32:30):
asked both parents to undergo a drug test, and the
first drug tests showed mister Williams positive for marijuana, and
the mother and Miss Clayborne, her test was negative. But
then they took a second test and the second hair
follical tests that came back positive for meth infinity meth
infinity's fettanol and oxycolum and both parents but they're denying
(32:52):
the substance. So I want to throw this out there
to you guys, as a mother, this is heartbreaking for
me because the kids, you know, they're called up in
all of this. And I also want to say in Florida,
I was a guardian at Linum and what that is
is is a person appointed by the court to look
and protect the interest of someone else. And typically in
these cases, the last thing you want to do is
remove children from the home. So my question is to
(33:16):
you guys, even though the drug test came back, you know,
positive for the parents, it seems that this is going
all the way extreme. Typically Number one, let's first see
if they're charged and convicted, and then typically you see rehab,
you see home visits, you see so many other things
go into play before just immediately taking the children. So
(33:37):
what do you guys take on that. I don't think
the mom should have been tested at all. Anyway, if
the gun was found in the call, he took the
gun because they arrested him. I don't understand why the
mother was tested in charge unless she looked, you know, high,
or looked a certain way. But she shouldn't have been
tested because they let her drive back to the station.
So if they left back to the station, drive back
to the station, Obviously she wasn't high. Obviously she didn't
(33:58):
look like she was on any type of anything. There's
no reason they should have took that those people's kids.
And how you get to a hair follicable test, like,
what's the probable causing that if you've tested positive for marijuana?
And I mean, how would you then get to a
hair follicable test. That's that's crazy, yes, but people, it
was when it was when they came. People don't know
the rights. I think that these conversations important. People should
do some research on what you have the right to
(34:20):
do and not to do. Answer, not answer, because that's
how most people get caught up when they don't know
their rights. They get run over. And just for clarity
on that, when they did do the test, it was
after like they came back after a week later, you know,
I assume again making an assumption allegedly to get the children.
And so that is when they did the test, you know,
on the mother, and so they removed the kids from
(34:41):
the house a week later, a week later. No, no, no,
they removed the kids on the spot when she went. Yeah,
see when she went at first they said, oh, just
follow you know, they weren't going to take the children.
At first they were going to arrest the husband, and
they said, just follow us down to the station. Well,
we're gonna give the kids to you. And then when
they got to the station, Um next to meet she
know they're taking the children, run from her, not testing her.
(35:02):
At this point, they just said, hey, this is these
children should not be with this with this couple because
of the weed that was found in the card. Now
they are saying that there's more to this story than
we don't know. So I want to see what that
more is that will justify taking these kids on the spot. Yeah,
this isn't all right. I need more context. This is
what the story is called. Ben Crump. Yeah, you've been
Crump online on Ben crumpt tip Man, my boy, gotta
(35:29):
call Ben back today. You gotta call Ben. Somebody gotta
somebody gotta help Ben man. But car he selling somebody
where where everybody else at Man, they can't fight every case,
damn it. Well, thank you, Tess, no problem, We appreciate you,
and we'll see tomorrow. Right absolutely, all right. Now, let's
open up the phone lines eight hundred five eight five
one oh five one. Let's talk LARSA Pippott now Larsa
(35:51):
Pippot said she had sex four times a night with
her husband Scottie Pippott at the time. Twenty three years straight,
hap cap Let's talk about it. Is that possible? That's
that's what we need to call it. But what is
this capri fact? That's what we need to do. It
sounds like captain me. Let's talk about it. Eight j
five eight five one, four times a night. Listen, there
(36:13):
was this one year I was day in a capricorn.
Now you know sex addicts four times a night, well,
four times throughout the day. It could be morning than
after work and before it can happen every day for
a year you got practice playing in the NBA. I
don't believe it. Janie Shop said something really really smart.
He said that man had back problems a long time
(36:35):
in the NBA. And that's probably the reason why. Yeah,
you might be right. Well, I think God laughing down
on us all because it was twenty three years and
ain't that Jordan's number? Jesus, damn it? Damn all right,
Well we'll talk about it. We'll taking calls. Eight hundred
five eight five one on five one is the breakfast
Club of the Morning The Breakfast Club power one on
five one again, going back again, right back to the
(37:00):
world's most dangerous morning Shoot the Breakfast Club early in
the morning. Let it man. You don't even matter what
time because of the roller wait time. It's okay, atl
(37:22):
Jacob XTL Jacin. Pray for my demons. Girl, I got
you any time. I SLF not getting from annoying the
sounds of the stong when it comes. She understand. I
can't take it everywhere I'm going. I haven't in the
field like Churchen on the corn. I can't have your
tears when they drop over the phone. Get mad at
yourself because you can't leave me along. Got some famous
(37:43):
It ain't what we're doing traveling around the world over
the phone, Charros, I get my phone one out of
you when you're drunk in till miss Actually, how you
feeling the real one? Exactly what it's topic times eight
(38:17):
hundred five eight five one oh five. Want to join
it to the discussion with the Breakfast Club morning. Everybody
is DJ Envy Charlomagne, the guy we all the Breakfast Club.
We got our co host Jason Lee with us this morning.
And if you're just joining us. We're talking about loss
of Pippen, Scottie Pippen's ex wife. Let Jason tell us
about this story. Man, why I wasn't an audio? But ahead, listen,
(38:42):
Larsa Pippen, who's out here? Uh dating? Uh? She said
she had sex with Scottie Pippen four times a day
for twenty three Let's say the audio I have said,
four times a night every night. I never had a
day off. Why? Yeah, why your perfecit week? Yeah? Four
(39:06):
three years? Yeah, we have away from each other like
we have a private Yeah. All. I don't believe any
of this. I don't believe any of this just because
I am a man. We're all men, we've all had sex.
I just don't believe it's possible to have sex four
times a night, every night for twenty three years and
(39:29):
you're productive like Scottie Pippen was an NBA player. Guys,
you know what I mean of a top fifty actually
number thirty three of all time NBA player, And if
this story is true, his ranking needs to go up.
If you accomplished all of that, and if you were
doing all of that and still with the number thirty
three player, we got to put you in the top
fifteen at least now for what times I'm never making
(39:51):
it to work with. Twenty three years would be a stretch,
but for a year, I can see it. For a
year would be the only scratch of that was happening.
If I stated a capricorn in my early thirties and
I was a sex add it it happens. I literally
this before entertainment. I had a job. I moved my
house right across the street from my job so I
could leave during lunch and come home mat I was addicted.
So yes, it could happen, not twenty three years. I
(40:12):
don't know. Four times a night every day, but it's
not four times a night throughout the day in the morning, sax,
afternoon SAgs got home from work, sex before you go.
That's impossible, though, Jays, because he was at practicing, he
had games a lot of those times, and he was
traveling like you gotta think. He said. She was on
the road with him. She said she flew private behind
their jet because she brought the family with him to
every city. Those must have been super quickies by could
(40:34):
have been a world too, could have been a world.
She didn't say what kind of sext. I just don't
believe it. I'm be honest with you. I just thought
I just don't believe that to be possible. I need
a second. I need I need Scotty to confirm this.
The funniest part of it all, I said earlier. God
must be laughing at her and Scotty right now because
if they did it for twenty three years and now
she's dating Michael Jordan's son. Wasn't his number twenty three?
Twenty three? Man? Well, maybe she got weak confused with day.
(40:57):
Maybe she meant to say week. No, she said she
you say day. She said what she said? Damn, I
don't believe how about might be hurting up a john hurting.
Maybe she's doing hand like you know hand? I mean, Hello,
who's this? This is Kelly from Hey Kelly, Good morning.
How y'all doing. Hey Kelly, we're talking lots of Pippen
four times a day? That is very possible. I'm thirty five,
(41:22):
my boyfriend is twenty nine, and we definitely were having
six four times a day for your straight Did you
have a job? Yes, people, that was his job. That
was his job. No, we both work, but it's definitely possible.
Day before I work, we get home. Yeah. I think
(41:44):
we're saying this, but we're comparing Scottie Pippen's life to
our lives. You have to think about what Scottie Pippen
was doing every day. He was an NBA player, traveling
practice in the morning, practicing to night. I don't believe
that's probably what made him great. Yeah now that yeah,
but like a regular person like me nine to five
S three, I don't know about that. Wait, wait, question, question.
(42:05):
You said the guy you were having sex with he
was four times a day, he was a capricorn. Yes,
definitely he ruined your life too. Huh. I wouldn't say
ruined my life. But we're still together. Oh God, bless you. Alrighty,
thank you, mama. Hello, who's this? Good morning? Hey? What's
your name? This is? This is Coco, Hey, Cocoa, good morning,
(42:26):
good morning. How y'all doing what you think? Cap or fact?
So Larsa Pippet is Caperoni. She's following, she knows, she's
good and well lying and I can't trust it. How
can we trust somebody who dated somebody that she was
around when he was the child. I don't trust it. Jesus,
damn it. Man, okay, thank you? Hello? Who's this? Yeah?
(42:47):
This is Joshua from Las Vegas. Joshua from Vegas. What's up? Brother?
Nothing's how y'all doing? I hope y'all having a blessed
morning to this favored sir. How are you? I'm blessing?
How we say like you wanted good? That's right? All right?
Tell us what you think? Man, Honestly, I think that
I think she's she's Captain Moore, like she worked at
(43:08):
the ledge. That's so much cap I don't think you
could be that sexually active, even if it's twenty three years.
That just seems unhealthy. It is. I feel the same
way four times a day for a week. Imagine the
jaculator sported. You're ejaculating twenty eight times. I feel attacked.
(43:28):
H There are people, there are people who are get
to sex. I'm not sure you know you in Vegas.
You're not You're not active. I mean, you're not out
here in the Vegas streets getting nothing. We currently I'm
on my ground, so no, I am not active. But
once I do get active, let me let me tell
you this. I wouldn't reach four times a day. But
(43:49):
don't get me wrong, it will be at least like two,
maybe three, if I'm feeling good. You know, if it
isn't that a stamina deficiency. I mean, I don't know.
You're attacking now, Jason. Damn'd would be? It couldn't be.
It just depends on the women. And yeah, I would say,
it depends on. What are you doing up at four
thirty in the morning in Vegas? Man? Looking for sex?
I got work. I'm working to get that money right now.
(44:11):
Will you work at prostitute? Yeah? You funny? I just
work a security overnight at college. Congratulations. But you got
little dude in your boot. You got a gun. You
got to carry a gun. I wish I would, Man,
they got me at hurt. You just gotta check these doors.
If a homeless coming up to you, good luck. Good luck.
Could be safe out there, brother. Yeah, I don't. I
(44:32):
just don't believe this story, man, because I don't believe
Scottie Pippen would have the legs to play in the
NBA for as long as he did and be as
dominant as long as he was. If he was having
sex four times a night, I would need a nap,
of course. In that Jordan documentary, though, if I recall,
weren't there a lot of games he missed. It was
like gone for a while. Nah, I mean when you
got hurt, you know what I mean. But that was
(44:52):
like later on, like later, much later on in his career.
All right, eight hundred five eight five one on five one.
We're talking lars and pipping. She said her Scottie Pippen
had sex four times a night for twenty three He
is it cap In fact, when you say it that way,
it sounds like a lot. Yes, it is a lot.
That's only thirty thousand times. Bro, that's at twenty eight
(45:15):
times a week. You could die from that much, I
would think, and you can't. Really. Yes, this is a
guy that you know he masturbated that many times and died.
Damn right. We'll get into it and we'll talk about
it some more. It's the Breakfast Club going to Jason.
I'll costs here. It's topic times. The phone called eight
(45:35):
hundred five eight five one oh five wanted to join
it to the discussion with the Breakfast Club, talk about it?
Why everybody is tj env Charlomagne the guy we are
the Breakfast Club. We got our guest host, Jason Lene.
Now what is lots of Pippen talking about Jason Listen.
Larsa is saying that she had sex with Scottie Pippen
while they were married four times a day for twenty
three years straight. I don't believe it. And you know,
(45:57):
Charloman made up a good point. They only got four kids.
I would have at least thirty two kids exactly. It
makes no like, none of this makes any sense. I
think that she misspokes. I think she made to say
four times a week. Maybe I don't know. Let's go
to the phone lines. Hello, who's this, it's Jessica. Hey, Jessica,
good morning, Good morning. So basically what I was thinking
was it's possible that he could have sex four times
(46:19):
the one day if either like what if he were quit,
you know, that's like four sessions at one yeah, but
every day and he still got to go to practice,
and he's still got to play games, and he still
got to travel. He could have put it in his schedule,
he could have liked from one or two. We're gonna
get it in here that it's possible some women that
(46:40):
you know every day and I would want it. Okay,
thank you, Jessica. Would you say Jason, I was gonna say, like,
I can understand as a man having sex four times
in the day before a woman. I mean, you know
it's been a long time. Doesn't that take a beating up?
I mean the vagina has to man. It could be mouth,
it could be vagina, could be hand. Yes, sure it
could be who This story is true as a scratch. Hello,
(47:03):
who's this? Literally Ario from making Hey, Ariel, good morning,
talk to us, Good morning. I just want to start
off saying I love you guys so much. Your show
give me so much information and it's so interthing. Love
you more, yes, sir, But I just want to say
I think she's the type, like she looked like, she's
the type that go for money. So most girls that
(47:24):
go for money, they'll do anything to keep it. I
think she do try to go four times a day
with him. It ain't even about her, it's about us
as men. Hey, that's never been a time in my
life there was a fourth I could do four times
in a day. Bro'll listen, my fiancee, Well we first met,
we went at least seven times. And if you got
(47:45):
the cinema, yes, that's insane, how old. Yes, if you
got the cinema, you can go. Well, I'm twenty four
now he's twenty seven. So when we first met, I
was like twenty two. Okay, see I see everyone in
the while. I get it. But every day now, every
day is a stress now because sometimes we want it done,
sometimes we want it done with good Yeah, but every
(48:08):
you know, you know, everyone to the wife. You do
the sessions with the wife, and you bang out a
couple of times. But every day, by the way, if
you really having sexed away, every day, be having sex
like you might have a session on a Monday that
you don't recover from to like Wednesday, Thursday. Yeah, I knows.
I think she might try. I think she might try
because she honestly, what did she Brew? We know her
(48:31):
from him, you know what I mean her, it's about
what does he do? And that's always it. It's always
interesting when women say that about her other women. Y'all, y'all,
we're gonna get a broke piece of meat out the
hood and let that lay up in you all day
long and be happy. So what she gets somebody on
the side, let her do her thing. Hello, who's this hey,
(48:52):
j good morning, Good morning. I just want to say
I can't believe I've made it on here. I love
you guys, listen every morning, happy to have you here.
We love you back. So we talk a loss of
pippet cap or fact. I don't know, so to tell
it uthing like it could be facts because I know,
especially because she was married to such a rich person
and he was always taking care of everything that some
(49:13):
women do feel obligated. Um, you know, because honestly the
women that Amy got the offer. So like she says,
she's being put to work. You never had a night offer.
I mean, you're probably not wrong, but I just don't
think no man has the energy to do that. Do
we understand what we're talking about? Sex four times a
day every day they were together young, she said, every
(49:37):
day for twenty three years. What that means through marriage,
through pregnancies, like none of this making you can't even
have sex after a certain amount of time when they're pregnant,
She can't mean when the babes. Assuming that this means
vaginal sex could have been oral God dang, yeah, it
could be different types of you know, phel what's the
(50:01):
moral of the story taking out Yeah, I guess the
moral of the stories. I don't believe her, but you
know that's her story. Well, she's coming on my shoulders
in the next week. Someone ask you, oh she coming
in Okay, Okay, I'm gonna say that's her story and
she's sticking to it. Scott, he's thinking it to her.
Don't matter anymore. Now it's Marcus. Oh, you're right. Shout
the markets. By the way. If you are Marcus, what
(50:22):
do you what do you do when you hear that? Marcus? Like,
I can't put up fro kind of numbers. I can't
put the numbers. I can't put up I'm not my dad.
I can't put those numbers on. Try. We got roomors
on the way we were talking about. Okay, Candy's back
in the news again. Now she's into it with s
WV and uh so that's going to the next all right, now,
shout to the ladies SIV. They listen to every morning.
They hit us. Everyone. Come on, man, that's people's right there.
(50:43):
Slew the lee uply. I know you listening. You could
call it lately just DMUs It's the breakfast club of
the morning. Morning. Everybody is d ch n V, Charlomagne
the guy. We are the breakfast club. We got our
co host Jason Lee with us Happy Monday. That was
Jason Lee's partner Rihanna. Love that Girl. Now we got
room was on the way. What we discussed, what we're
talking about? What is less rumors and more tea. Candy
(51:03):
burs is back in the headlines because she's getting into it.
What that's WV and I want to salute everybody in Atlanta. Man.
We'll be in Atlanta on April twenty second for the
first step of a Black Effect Podcast festival, happening at
Pullman Yards in Atlanta. Some of your favorite podcast live
like the eighty five South Show, Horrible Decisions, Reasonably Shady,
just to name a few the big facts podcasts. Then
(51:25):
it's hosted by myself and just hilarious. We're gonna have food,
We're gonna have music. My Man Louis v is providing
the soundtrack. We got the Black Effect merch Store, which
is the Black and the Black Effect Marketplace. Will be
a lot of local businesses from Atlanta that will be
there as well. Man. So April twenty second, go to
event bright to get your tickets and thank you to
everybody that's been a purchasing tickets. Man can't wait to
(51:46):
see you April twenty second in Atlanta. All right, now
keep it lock. When we come back, we got your
rumor report. Don't move, It's to Breakfast Club. Come on
barning everybody in CEJ and V Sharlomne the guy on
this Monday. We got our co host, Jason Lee and
let's get to the rumors. Mastered the tea thing. The
only place I want to come and talk to about
was here because I really feel like everybody in the
culture partially off, but I knew I can talk my
(52:08):
talk to me. This is the rumor report on the
Breakfast Club. Shout out to the female producers at the
Breakfast Club that put that together a game. All right, listen,
the gloves are off again. What's here? We got little
(52:30):
late listen. So Canny Burr's back in the news. She's
on social media burning it down because now she has
put escaped in the headlines going up against SWV and
it's not on tour. She now tweeted something that has
been picked up by everybody on social media. She said,
I never said they didn't sell more records talking about SBV,
but the concert is about who can sell more tickets
(52:50):
be upset if you want, but we've done We've done
out the show since the tour, and promoters still had
SBV going before us. It is what it is. If
you don't know, both of SVV and Escape have a
real the show that Monor Scott Yanni's producing. And now
it's turned into an episode of Loving hip hop because
they're now beefing about who should go first, so fans
are now reacting and so. But what I learned and
(53:10):
looking at this was that Tiny had actually tweeted first,
and she said that they received a call saying that
they should co headline or One of the fans responded
and said, take your ego out of it, Candy, because
both of you are headliners and have a catalog that
many still listen to. It is not about who gets
more of views on social media. It's about the music
and if we're gonna be honest, STWV has more hits
than Escape. That fan is absolutely right, and I would
(53:33):
think the same thing. If I saw SWV and Escape
in concert, I would just think that they were co headlining,
Like I wouldn't be thinking SWV is opening for Escape,
par Escapes opening for SPV. I would just think it's
an SWB Escape concert. Now, No, I think all this.
Definitely think that, you know, because it's it's you want
to close, you know, you don't want to open. And yeah,
even though we both co headlined, and somebody has to
close that show. And I think SWV has in a
(53:56):
certain markets, and I think an escape has to a
certain marks, Like in Atlanta, Escape has to I don't
know about that. That's their town. These women love. I'm
not saying they don't love Escape, but man, when you
think about it, I'm so into you weaken the knees
anything right there. Those are different type of bops. I
would give them the clothes in Atlanta, that's their hometown s, TOBV,
everywhere else but their hometown of Atlanta. You let them go.
(54:17):
I don't I agree with that. That's the compromise. I
never you know, it's crazy. I've never heard SWVN Escape
in a comparable situation before. I heard SWV an Vogue Yes,
and Excam. I mean, both are great groups, but why
does it have to come to this, this this I
would love to see this play out on a like
an episode of WWE three on three, Why not an
episode of s WV escape. Don't they got the show together?
(54:40):
I'm sure business most of the sports storyline for the show.
By the way, Nah, I'm sure they don't really feel
this way. I think Lee feels this way. Leads closing
co clos way Mona Scott Young, we feel your fingers
all over this one. Actually lately, Speaking of lately, she
actually responded today she posted, Uh, this here, Internet, got
nick I say that word? Yeah? Why not this here? Internet?
(55:00):
These niggas act the real gangs all keep that same energy.
Booboo chicken, don't play. Really gonna fight? I tell you
that right now. Lely gonna fight and telling y'all that
right now, even at her big age. Lee here, you
gotta worry about that, Dewa, Lely go fight. Why did
the picture of Lely with Timberland's on just pop up
in mind? You got the picture? Well, timber and another
(55:22):
friend of ours making good. She's out here shutting down rumor.
She spoke to one of my reporters at the Essence
Black Women in Hollywood. There's been rumors that her and
Devon Franklin ended their relationship or their marriage because one
of them cheated. And this is what she said. So
what advice would you have for those people life myself
or like others who might be going through divorce or
findal life and the divorce are done with their divorce
and I'm really trying to reinvent themselves. Yeah, I would say,
(55:44):
you really got to trust God. You know, at the
end of the day, these things don't happen because God
makes them happen. It happens because people have free will
and they make choices. And if He's allowed it, then
He's got a plan. Then you got to get excited
about the plan. Even if you're hurting and you're still
healing or whatever may be the process. You just got
to trust that what He has for you is incredible.
And it doesn't mean that that it negates the other
(56:06):
things that you may be feeling as you're healing, but
it does mean that a lot of what we look
at going forward as a choice, and I choose to
just be excited about life. I love Megan. Now. I
will tell you I was at the Black Women in
Hollywood event that Essence had in Hollywood, and it was amazing,
and I did see Divan there and I saw Megan.
So I was going back and forth to see if
they would actually talk to each other. Day they didn't
(56:27):
talk to each other. Both were in great spirits and
it seems like she's she's given him grace. I mean,
she's all grown up, she's a woman. What happened. I
never heard what happened. They haven't spoken on it yet.
I mean I actually invited her on my show. She's
supposed to be coming soon so we can get into it.
But they've been tight. Lip haven't heard anything. But he's
the one that followed for the divorce, so it's interesting.
But she actually said more about their relationship and this
(56:49):
is what she said. He's an amazing person, amazing human being.
I'm thankful for having a decade of marriage with him.
I'm thankful for what I gave, what I got and
and you know now I'm like, Laura's next for me
and Laura's next for him. I help the best for
about Frost both. So we have to say former first
Lady Megan good and that she's no longer the path
(57:10):
his wife. Hilarious. I'm just asking do we see forever
first Lady? Um? I'm just always curious how you know,
And people can say it's none of our business, but no,
but when people write books and they talk about the
relationship so strong and a lot of people following them,
and something doesn't work out. I think it's the only
right to tell people because people are invested in Yeah. Yeah,
(57:30):
but they came up here on the on the book
to remember. Remember he talked about how they didn't have
sex or whatever they got married, and I'm saying it
was a big thing. So people dive into their lives
and they want to follow their lives tips and following
the moments. You know, you got to tell people why
what you got to write a book about what I
think didn't work out? Nah, but at least tell people
who followed you and brought your books and supported you
and and try to go down the same road that
(57:51):
you win not having sex Now, now, you're right. If
you built the foundation or made some money off giving
a relationship advice when things don't go right, you should
walk people through that journey as well. Absolutely agree. That's
why I didn't understand when Clode Kardashian say, get out
of my business. You told us to keep up with you.
We're keeping up with But I do I do love
that that they haven't been messy, though I do love
(58:12):
that that they've handled it like mature adults, and she
went through hell at least from the outside. Is being somebody,
you know, making good in the streets to that becoming
the first lady or first former first lady. I don't
know what happens with pastors that we know what presidents, right,
you feel the first lady? What happens with pastor wives
are your former first lady? I don't know. Listen, she
says she's single. She texts me other day and she
(58:32):
says she's single, and she's out here. So me and
her gonna get in these streets together. Megan. Let me
tell you something, Megan, you was in a great relationship
with a man of God. You don't need to scrate
that fall away and start hanging out with Jason. I
don't need that fall away from the pulpit. Okay, come on,
don't have to do that. Come on, Magan, it's gonna
get good. I'm doing the Lord's work, Megan. Jesus also
(58:55):
that they said that's the BV show came on last night. Yeah,
I don't be knowing none of this. M I mean
they said it played out on the show last night.
I want to see it. Play out in w w E.
I wanna put that bag together right there, Lea League
versus oh Man, Handy. You remember GLOW. I don't remember
Globe Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. No, no, man. It was
a wrestling organization called GLOW, the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling.
(59:17):
I don't. I don't think anybody does. Those of us
in the nineteen hundreds, absolutely remember those of us that
were raising in the nineteen hundred. Remember do you remember
that Glow. He wasn't raising the nineteen hundreds. He wasn't
raising the nineteenhundreds. He said, the nineties. He's like ninety nine.
He came in this world. Female wrestling wasn't a big
thing back in the day. I mean Glow was big,
Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. I mean it was, I don't
(59:39):
know how big it was. It was big enough to
be on TV. You know, real non fact. You remember
the wrestler of China. Yeah, she was living in my
apartment building when I first wound to LA. Really, she's
lay out at the pool. She was cooked up and
dripped in diamond. She dead now though she damn damn
very The League said, people knew she was deceased. She
had a penis too, she did not yet really yeah, yeah,
(01:00:05):
she used to have a bikinia at the poor Where
are we gonna all right? We wanted Lele and Kenny
to fight at all right? Well, thank you for that
room report, Charlomi. Who are you giving that donkey too?
After the hour man, we need a twenty six year
old woman from Florida named Quavy Young to come to
the front of the congregation. We would like to have
a word with her. This is just another example of
(01:00:28):
poor fast food at it kids. All right, we'll get
to that next. It's the Breakfast Club. Come Morning, Breakfast Club,
Your mornings will never be the same where it's the

Make sure you're telling them to watch out for Florida.
The craziest people in America come from the Bronx and
all of four. Yes, you are a donkey. The Florida
man a tap and atm for a very strange reason.
It gave him too much money. Florida man is arrested
(01:01:09):
if to definitely stay, he's riggs the door to his
home and an attempt to electrocet his pregnant. White police
arrested in Orlando man for talking a Flaminia to breakfast
club Bitchy Donkey of the Day with Sharlom haying to God,
I don't know why y'all keeping letting him get ya elected. Well,
duvall Donkey of Today from Monday, March twentieth goes to
a twenty six year old Florida woman named Quavey Young. Okay,
Quavy Younger, Coco Florida. Now, what did your uncle Shalla
(01:01:32):
always say about the great state of Florida. The craziest
people in America come from the Bronx and all the Florida,
and today is no exception. See Quavy got arrested. Okay,
she's accused of brandishing a gun in the drive through
window of McDonald's. Okay. We hear these stories ever so often,
the people who are upset because some fast food restaurant
got their order wrong. But this right here, isn't one
(01:01:52):
of those times. Okay, See in this case, McDonald's didn't
get her order wrong. They didn't even have what she wanted. Period.
Let's go to New six for the report. Please, Bard County,
a woman is accused of threatening a McDonald's employee with
a gun because the meal she wanted was not on
the menu. According to the arrest affadavit, this woman, quab Young,
was at a Coco McDonald's when she ordered something that
(01:02:13):
wasn't on the menu. Police say Young then drove up
to the window and threatened the drive through worker with
a handgun and demanded that worker take her order. Young
was arrested on aggravated assault charges and has since been released. Now,
what was on the menu that Quavey tried to order?
Quavey tried to order what you call a cheese burgo bundle.
You ever heard of it? Generally never heard of an envy, No,
(01:02:36):
a cheeseburger bundle from McDonald's. She went to McDonald's and
tried to order cheeseburgers the way she owed his hair. Okay,
let me get three bundles at that Brazilian body wave.
Matter of fact, let me get three bundles but had
unprocessed Peruvian body wave weavy. Please. Now, I didn't know
McDonald's was doing this, but apparently at the let locations
they offered bundle meals. Okay, I did some research this morning,
(01:02:56):
and by research I mean Google, and I thought that
they have a big macbundle, a chicken McNugget bundle, in
a cheeseburger bundle. The cheeseburger bundle consists of two cheeseburgers,
two medium fries, and a twenty piece chicken McNugget. How
much eleven ninety nine? Great deal? But my LDL cholesterol
just went up reading that. Okay, what I don't understand
(01:03:18):
is why should this lead the violence of any kind?
All right, understand the historic love folks have had for
the Golden Archers. I get it. It's an amazing, amazing
comfort food. But never in the history of life is
a combomeal ever been good enough for me to get
the prison bundle. You know what the prison bundle is, right? Oh,
First you get arrested for the crime, then you get
a bail. In this case, it was seventy five dollars.
(01:03:38):
She already bonded out, but now you got to hire
a lawyer to help you face charges of open carriable weapon,
knowingly driving with a suspended license, and aggravated assault with
a deadly weapon without intent to kill. Okay, the last
charge being a felony. Ain't no value in that, all right,
bail lawyer, fees scratch. Nobody got time for that. That's
a lot of money. And I promise you that bundle
(01:04:00):
at McDonald's it's not worth it. Please give Quave Young
of Coco, Florida the biggest he half what you don't
play a game? I guess? Would you like to play
a game of guess what race? Give my clue? Quavery
(01:04:22):
Young of Coco, Florida went to McDonald's trying to order
a meal that they didn't have. She wanted to cheese
burger bundle mill. Jason Lee, guess what race she is?
She's black? Wow? Wow? You said that would no head
to take? Okay, okay, okay, understand I can nderstand why
you would think that, Uh dj envious. Quavery Young of Coco,
(01:04:43):
Florida went to McDonald's to order a meal that they
didn't have. It was a cheese burger bundle meal. Yes,
what race? Black? Why black people don't play about their food.
If you say and on the menu, you better give
it to us. That's the baby wanted and the name.
I also, if y'all a big clue that I said
that Lord ordered cheeseburgers the way she orders, I missed
(01:05:08):
white white women are wearing buttles now though really yeah,
like I ain't know that part. But dj N being
Jason Lee, both of y'all absolutely wrong. What she's not bad?
She's not black? What is she? She's an N word? Guys?
Come on what you want to say? You want to say, hey,
(01:05:30):
hey nigga? Wow, Wow, that's Quevo sister quav Wow. Wow.
Jesus can I hit Uncle Rugi's right, he's not in there. Yeah,
jasonly saidybody, this is this is the N word behavior. Okay,
all right, okay, well thank you so much. You know
McDonald's is getting slushies now, I see I heard that
(01:05:50):
this morning on the news. We've been getting slushies. They're
gonna have slushi machines, so they're gonna have They're gonna
try off with Cocacola slushy. So now you have two
machines that don't work. That stream machine not gonna work
all the slusher machines into slushy, and it was one
more red slush They're gonna they're gonna try three slushies
in certain locations. Why did they even do the flavors?
Why don't they just call it by colors? That's how
we order things, red slushy, you know what I'm saying,
(01:06:11):
Orange slushy. This whole segment made me gain weight, Yeah,
because you think of like McDonald's now slushies. That's just
way more sugar, too much. So that's got my co
lets throw it back down one hundred. It was one
hundred and thirty nine the LDL. Now it's one hundred.
I gotta get it lower, but I ain't got time
for that. All right, thank you for that. Donkey to day.
(01:06:31):
You didn't play the dawn damn down, No, we don't play.
Somebody just hit me, was like, where's the damn damn down?
Know what happened? All right? Well, Adam and post Eddie, Yes, right,
when we come back eight hundred five five, one oh
five one. Let's talk about the four day work week. Now,
there's some new studies say that the four day work
week is actually good. It helps with productivity, it helps
(01:06:53):
with health and it even helps with finances. Hell, there's
eleven companies that are doing four day work weeks DNS
DNS filter out in DC if you want to work
for them, do big things. In Mill Valley, California. Kickstart
is doing four day work weeks America, Washington, DC, New
Leaders in New York, panisnic in New York, New Jersey, Denver,
(01:07:17):
Colorado has Samba safety pole everywhere in California, Threat up
in Oakland. Just some of the businesses that are doing
a four day work week. Yeah, my staff posted that
because we had put it on Hollywood Luck. They put
on this personal Instagram. So I'm like, oh my god,
this is amazing. I said, I will relocate the business
to another state. I think it made people more productive.
I'm all four or four day work week. I'm all
(01:07:37):
for Monday through Thursday, are a Tuesday through Friday. I
think I actually prefer Tuesday through Friday. I'm not sure. No,
let's talk about it when we come back. Eight hundred
five eight five one O five one. How do you
feel about a four day work week? Now, for everybody listening,
it doesn't mean you just don't work the extra day.
You have to put the hours in the four days though. Yes,
it's like four tens. Yes, yeah, so you gotta work
(01:07:58):
what I mean ten hours a day? What that mean?
Ten hours? Ten hours on Monday? We supposed to be
relieving stress and taking away some time from people. No,
that ain't. They're not gonna pay you not to work. Yeah,
you're gonna do four tens, but you're still gonna do
forty hours a week. That's not right. I've never had
a job where I didn't want to work every day.
(01:08:19):
I love working me too, but I still want a
forty work week. Yeah, but just four days. But ten hours,
ten hours a day ain't. No, No, he's not doing that.
That's what you would have to do. Yeah, if you
I don't like that idea. I don't like that point.
I didn't really sound like this generation. Yeah, absolutely, I
don't like that. I'm not working on it. I don't
like that day. I just thought it was I didn't
know it was hours, forty hours. Let's talk about it.
(01:08:41):
Eight hundred five eight five one on five one. It's
to breakfast logal morning, the breakfast club, call me opinion
to the breakfast club to come one morning. Everybody is
(01:09:05):
dj N v Charlomagne, the guy we all the Breakfast Club.
We got our co host Jason Lee and if you're
just joining us, we're talking about the four day work week.
Now they're saying that a four day work week actually
is better for workers. It said it's better for a product, productivity,
it's better for health, it's even better for finances. So
we're asking, would you want to do a four day
(01:09:27):
work week, but that does mean you would have to
work ten hours a day four days. I'm not mad
at that. I would do my ten hours a day
and get off Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Baby. You we
all love what we do, so you're always working when
you're not really working. You where your wife's work. We're
always working. So this this generation wants an excuse to
be at home period. I think it will make people
(01:09:48):
more productive, like, for example, I don't do Monday as well,
Like I really don't even get in my groove until Tuesday.
Even here at the Breakfast Club, there's certain things we
don't do on Monday, or try not to do, like
interviews after the show, right are nor do we like
doing interviews on Friday after the show because we'd be
ready to get out of here. Yesterday's Sunday, I met
my daughter's cheerleading competition all weekend, drove back three and
a half hours from Rhode Island. Although I love coming
(01:10:10):
in here because the energy in this studio is fantastic
this year. I mean, I haven't had to light my
stage once, but I would still rather not have to
talk and tell tomorrow. But what changes this year that
you have to bring and says it's not the hours,
just the studio, the energy. So see, I see, I
would say the same. I just flew back in Sunday,
and yes, I need, I need a kickstart, you know,
I mean I need, I need Tuesday. That's what I'm saying.
(01:10:32):
On Tuesday. Monday is kind of tough. That's why even
with interviews on Monday, you're kind of down a little bit. Now.
To Jason's point, there's there's I love everything that I do,
and there's multiple businesses that I have my hand in.
So I guess when I say I would need a
four day work week, it's just from radio. I don't
want to get up at six o'clock in the morning
to do radio on a Monday morning. But you've been
(01:10:54):
doing it for all these years, and that's why you
guys are in the Radio Hall of Fame. That's right.
And that's how I know I need a four day
work week because I've been doing this a long know
he's he's a Monday of Friday. Gotta go bro, you see.
But this is the thing. Even when I miss a day,
I miss it, though I'm not gonna sit here line
like when we off, I'd be like, damn, I still
get at the same time my body. No, it depends
what's going on. When I enjoyed Still, I enjoyed my
(01:11:17):
time off. I'm gonna tell you all that right now.
I enjoyed my time about the breakfast club. It's endorsing
this ridiculousness. I've notified my entire staff. I will relocate
the Hollywood unlock to Dominican Republic or something. Y'all can't
take a day off though, because y'all are a blog.
Do we call y'all a blog? No? They try, but no,
we're a media company, media company seven. You're a media company.
(01:11:38):
That's twenty fourth seven media company sort of, let's go
st Hello, who's this morning? Hey, Michelle, good morning, talk
to us before day work with all right, I've done
before day work week. I did it when I used
to work for See Mobile, but it was a little different.
We did it for ten hours a day. But I
(01:11:58):
loved it. I loved having three days off. Damn, I'm
telling you, what days did you have off? Friday, Saturday,
Sunday's perfect? That's perfect. So Thursday, when your day is over,
you could just bounce if you need to. Yeah, And
it really wasn't that late. It was like, so you
can still go out, you can still do the things
you kind of swept in a little bit. Now I
have kids, it's a little different, but I'm not gonna
(01:12:20):
I'd rather have the Monday. The only reason I rather
have the Monday because Friday you get off work, so
you got all day Friday to do whatever you want
to do, all day Saturday and all day Sunday. I
rather that than have the Friday. Rather take the Friday off.
Thursday you get out of work. When you get out
of work, then you could dip on Thursday night. Now
you got the full day Friday, full day Saturday, come
back Sunday. Flying back from places on a Sunday night.
(01:12:41):
They have to work on Monday morning. They ain't never
hit bro, you know what I'm saying. Like you, I'd
be needing that Monday to recover sometimes. And I guess
it also depends on what your career is. If you
have to go into something physically, then I can understand
it probably being that's true, don't want to do Hello,
who's this? It's true? What's going on? Good boy? Listen
to all every ch other Man show. Appreciate we're talking
(01:13:02):
about the four day work with. What's your opinion? Oh,
I'm all about it. We do that right now where
I'm at, you at here in the South Calcilac. Were
you at in South Carolina, cald the Beach and where
you work at? Did you got a four day work week?
We do underground utility work. Okay, but you work Monday,
you work a lot then yeah, one day the Thursday,
(01:13:22):
ten hours a day. See, I'm not mad at that.
I don't like the ten hour a day because at
least Friday you get to do it go by before
you know it real it's only extra two hours. Maybe
that is work. Yeah, maybe that is worth it to
have an extra day off. I know a lot of
medical people do it. Sometimes they do like the shifts
and then they take certain amount of days off, and
I think you get two breaks and our lunch too,
(01:13:44):
So it kind of goes, yeah, you're not, But I
still don't like this conversation. You don't get an hour
lunch when you're working out of five, No, I think
you get thirty minutes. What the hell is going on?
We don't get lunch of pen on me because we're
here for breakfast dog. Oh yeah, Jesus Christ genius. It's
the middle of the Yah, I am, thank you. But
eight hundred five A five one oh five, when we're
talking to four day work week? Do you prefer that?
(01:14:06):
Let's talk about it. It's a breakfast club. Good morning,
it's topic time call eight hundred five eight five one
oh five. Want to join it to the discussion with
the breakfast club morning. Everybody is stej Envy Charlemagne, the
guy we are the breakfast club. Jason Lee is here.
Now if you're just joining us, we're talking about a
(01:14:28):
four day work week. Now. They're saying this four day
work week, it's supposed to work for people very very well.
They're saying it helps with people's productivity, their health finance
is approved, and there's a lot of companies doing it.
So if you want to work a four day work week,
do you think it's better, do you think it's worth
would you do it? I'm all in for the four
day work all bad, baby, I'm not gonna lie. Give
(01:14:49):
me that Friday off for that Monday off. I really
want that Monday. Monday is Monday is the tough day. Tuesday,
my mouth. Don't even get work until Tuesday. Maybe I'm
not pauling nothing. I'm grown out right trade baby. Julia. Hey,
(01:15:09):
good morning, good morning, Good morning guys. What are you
calling from, mama? Um? Well, I'm currently um why not
in New York, but I currently reside in Georgia, Georgia. Okay,
we're talking about a four day work with what's your thoughts, Mama.
I think the Corning workmen is great because it gives
(01:15:30):
people an extra day and hands a personal business like
court or any type of business that happens only like
nine to five. When regular people, you know, business people
work are nine to five, you won't have to say golf.
You won't lose your money. I think it sounds good. Yeah,
that makes sense, And I never understood that anywhere a
lot of the places that people have to go to
(01:15:51):
close on the weekends. But that's the only time that
they can actually go is the weekend because they work. Yes, right, yes,
I never understood that. And that's why a lot of
people don't do handle a certain business because they have
to working on it to midday life, but they can't
make it to the business that's only still nine nine
to five day. What day would you want? Friday and Monday?
(01:16:13):
All right, Chara, man, I love you, but you made
get like hard. Now what you think Friday, Monday or
the middle of the week you might need a nap
for to me? Now, I ain't doing it a little week? No?
Do you realize if I agree? But I'm gonna take
Monday because I don't really like getting up on Monday.
Me too, Thank you, Mama. Could you do realize if
you take Monday off tuesdays now you're Monday. I'm fine
(01:16:34):
with that. It'll feel different. Though I can't explain it.
I just know that if I don't got to get
up Monday Tuesday, I'm ready. I made that day recovery
on Monday sometime. Bro, Hello, who's this? You couldn't be
Scotty Pippo true Carolina too sick. What's up? Brother? We're
talking to four day work week? Could you do it? Yeah? Yeah,
I did it man, about twenty years ago. Man, I
worked for the spot. You know. We worked Monday to Thursday,
(01:16:57):
seven to seven to twelve hours. Yeah, and I don't overtime.
You know what I'm saying. You got overtime though, man,
but like, yeah, yeah, you got a I was overtime
forty than eight. Where did you work? What do you
have to do? Well? It was the two place called
Corportal Plastic twice out of this little spot called Roseborough. Man.
Don't call a lot of the Bay Pike steps though
you did, Jesus Man, So Friday Saturday you was tired
as hell? He was. He was recovering. Oh yeah yah yeah,
(01:17:19):
yeah yeah. But I wish like Charlomne thing they do
Friday because Blendy you know what I mean, you could
be cover on that day for I'm telling you, man,
think about when you've been out all weekend, like say
on Sunday, especially when the summertime hitting his day party
season and you've been drinking, like you need that day
to recover. On them Monday you want to go to
(01:17:40):
Jim do you go to day party. No, no, don't
know it. You don't know it. But even if it
ain't the day party, you might just be drinking somewhere.
You might just be out enjoying a barbecue, a cookout.
You need that Monday to get all that out your system,
so you Tuesday to a good IV seven to seven.
Your whole life is to just at work. I couldn't
do it. Chantel, good morning high for Rich Virginia. I
(01:18:01):
definitely tell y'all I love y'all so much. I definitely
agree with the four day work week. I work in dialysis,
and it's always been working a twelve hours stuff in
which you do have a good healthy work life balance.
But recently I definitely step down to three days a
(01:18:21):
week in which I'm off on Mondays. I'm actually home
right now. So it is definitely a good way of living.
And like you said, m Seloman, when you just said that,
if you went out of something on the weekend and
you have that Monday to recover, it really helps you
out a lot. Three day work week, how like, how
much do you work for a three day work week?
(01:18:43):
So I'll put in like a twelve hour stuff and
I do have another I have a business, like I
run my own business, so I definitely try to balance out,
you know, working still having to work, but also pushing
my business. Yeah. Can you do a three day work week?
That's and that's part time because it's three twelve so
thirty six hours. Yeah. Nah. There's countries that have already
(01:19:05):
adopted this, by the way, Denmark, Norway, Germany, the Netherlands,
Iceland can body all the places Hollywood, A lot will
not be really what's the moll of the story. The
more of the story is, man, I think, um, it'll
increase productivity, it'll make people feel, you know, like they're
getting more bang for their buck. I really feel that way.
(01:19:25):
The more of the story is find you a career
that you're in love with so that way it doesn't
feel like work, and just work your ass off. You
still need a bank. You need that time off sometimes
just for your mental and emotional health sometime, Man, I
need that time away. Or just have sex four times
a day. I'll be good. That's that's ridiculous. That's ridiculous.
Would you imagine would you rather work five days a
week or four or sex four days or four times
(01:19:46):
a day? What happened now, would rather have one? Would
you rather work five days a week? Yes? Or sex
four times a day five days a week. Nobody got
time you're having sex? No, four times a day, Jesus,
we do, we do. Slim Thug doesn't want to be gay,
so he's not wearing designer clothes. What I'll make him
(01:20:08):
make sense later. All right, we'll get into that. Next
is the breakfast Club. Good morning morning. Everybody is DJ
Envy Scharlo Migne the guy we are to breakfast club.
Jason Lee is here. Now, let's get to the room
is Let's play Jason's intro. I've mastered the tea thing.
The only place someone to come and talk to about
was here because I really feel like everybody in the
culture past off. But I knew I can talk my
(01:20:29):
talk to me. This is the rumor report on the
breakfast club. So my friend Law Roach is you guys
know Law You know Law? I mean not personally, but yeah, okay, yeah,
law Road, Yeah, Law Roach. He's in the news. If
you don't know Law he's an image architect. That's the title.
He gave himself a trademark. And after you called me
(01:20:50):
culture critic, I did the same thing. So he's taught
me something. Well, he's teaching us now that he's not
happy with the fashion game. And this person has been iconic.
He's was on a show called Legendary that was really
really legendary. He's styled everybody for making the stady in
Kekee Palmer, Carrie Washington Area on a grande. But he's
more known for his work that he's done with Leaning
Dian and Zenda. Well, recently he went to a show
(01:21:12):
and I guess there was a mix up with a
seat where there was a video that went all over
it social media where it shows and Dad pointing to
a seat behind her, and people thought that she was
basically saying, go sit behind me, when he's known for
sitting in front row next to her. But he's earned
that right and this is what he said in the
interview with Vogue. For years, like, I'm always used to
sitting next to her, and so in my mind, my
(01:21:32):
seat was next to her. And so when I got
there and it wasn't you know, it wasn't a problem,
but nobody there was nobody to tell me what my
actual seat was, right, and so the seat behind her
when you see her turn around and touched the seat.
It wasn't her telling me to sit there. It was
her telling me, like, that's darnell seat, which is her assistant.
(01:21:53):
I'm not going to sit in a Darnell's seat, you know.
I mean, so, then where does he go? Right? And
so I was really just kind of confused. I'm coming
from a house that I know what my sea is.
It's right next to her. It's always right next to her,
because that's part of our relationship and our interaction, seeing
the clothes together, you know, the little ques that are
little such like that's the look, you know. And so
(01:22:14):
somebody was like, all you have to say? I was like,
I don't know where I'm sitting now. A lot of
people would say that that's being petty, but I will
tell you is having been a fashion show, sitting in
front row is a huge thing, and being black, being iconic,
having earned the right to be respected. I could understand
being from Chicago and I taking anybody's stuff. I can
understand why he brought it up. And so, yeah, is
(01:22:35):
that why he retired? I saw someone. You know, he
hasn't returned any calls to tell me why he's retiring.
He did walk in the ball show in Miami, so
I don't know these all the way out the game.
He did come on my podcast a while back and
we talked about the lack of respect he thought he
was getting as a black man in the industry, and
this is what he had to say, Do we have
that duty? It's pulling up talk. You can't treat me
(01:22:59):
any kind of way. You you I'm coming in and
I'm committed a certain amount of respect you if you
if you're not giving me that, we don't have a problem. Like,
I'm not really afraid of this, this industry because I'm black,
I'm from the hood. I can always go back, like
I'll always make money, I'll always get money, I'll always
be successful. And if I have to get into a
(01:23:20):
situation where I have to rework who I am or
what I'm doing, that I'm not afraid of that. Right.
So I'm not to go toe to toe what a
publicist or a j or a manager because I don't
feel like I need you because you didn't You've never
done me anyway. I'm self made, you know what I mean.
Like I built my career. I didn't go to conventual
routes to everybody go and you know this person, you
(01:23:41):
owe this person a favor. I owe nobody in this industry.
And I'm like, I'll walk away from all that because
I'm just I'm a Yeah, I feel like stylists and
publicists don't get the respect they deserve in this industry. Well,
and he this be clear. He works with Valentino, he
every major fashion house, he's he's styled in to help
create the brands we know with you know, Selene and
(01:24:03):
uh and Zenda in the fashion world. So I don't know.
I love the fact that he's standing up for herself
and you know, being an independent boss is the freedom
that a lot of us strive for and some don't have.
But yeah, shout out to law I hope he stays
in the game. Yeah. I don't believe nobody when they
say they can go back to the hood. Though, I
don't believe that nobody's good with going back to the hood.
Like if you lose everything, that's not where you're gonna go.
(01:24:24):
I don't think they mean back to the hood. Hasn't
going back to the bottom like you. Basically, my people
always that for me, and I could always start back
with my people because I feel that way like, yeah,
no matter what happens in this world, I'll be good
to our people. So people always show us loves which
but nobody want to go go back to the extremes
you came from, which you want to have the mentality
that you're that you're. You don't put all the power
(01:24:45):
and control over what you do and who you are
and what you're building in other people's hands. So you say, look,
I can get this all up and go back with
geeing who I am, who I was before you knew
me as doing this. But and the stylist is a gift, right,
Like you know, if you're a really good stylist, you
know how to put things together, you'll be able to
do that, whether you're dealing with design and clothes or
you know, stuff from Rainbow. Yeah, but then you know,
(01:25:07):
and all credit to him when he coined himself as
an image architect. He does more than just shopping or
putting on clothes. And he's literally taking these people and
turning them into fashion icons. If you saw us in
there at the naacp here where she went viral for
her looks, he put all those looks together. He's going
back into the archives of fashion and pulling up stuff
that we haven't seen in decades and putting them on
these new artists on them. Another person I wish the
(01:25:28):
best is Marlon Wayne's because he's also in the news
and he's now frustrated that jay Z has not allowed
him to attend the Rock Nation brunch. Recently, he sat
down and did the interview with Big Boy and this
is what he had to say. You know, I got
a bone to pick with jay Z. Oh my god, bro,
I got the same bone. And did he party all
the time? Did he hit me like that gun though?
(01:25:49):
Take that? Take that, take that shot, Come have a
good time always jay Z bunch crickets, crickets. And I'll
be looking at that brunch like, how the hell did
he get in there? I'm only worked for sass people
in this damn man. I've never been invited to the
Rock Nation brunch, right me even and I had just
(01:26:09):
hurt and Elma was like, oh, they was way less
more than on people there, and I was like, I
don't know how to take that either. You know what
I feel? You you never got invited to the brunch? No,
I've never been invited, but I've gone. I've gone twice.
It's it's as yeah, I remember you was there. Don't
do it, dude, I'm gonna cush you up. I will
say every word on this paper. If you say about
(01:26:34):
to try me, go ahead, go ahead, happening because I
know Beyonce and Jays are watching this show, and we
know it's cap ahead. What happened, Sean, I don't know what.
I'll tell you what happen. I was at the Rock
Nation brunch, and everybody knows that Beyonce is going to
be there. I'm a huge Beyonce fan. I'm a fanatic,
and so I went to the brunch and sold my
(01:26:56):
friends shout to Umar Huan's pretty little thing. He he
got tired about four o'clock. He said, I'm leaving, So
he was leaving. I was walking out with him. When
I got to the exit to get in the car,
I saw Julius Beyonce security. So anywhere Julius is, Beyonce
is near. So when I saw Julius, I said, okay,
y'all go, I'm gonna go back inside because I'm an kids.
So I went back inside and I waited and Beyonce
walked in and she whispered to jail. I could say
(01:27:19):
she's talking to James, She's looking at me. She goes, oh,
Hollywood unlocked. So I saw that she knew who I was.
I ran around like a kid to the other side
to catch her. So I can't get a photo of her.
But I told my friend Indian Teddy Bear filmed then,
so he's filming it. I go around to uh to
ceb and so as I go up to her, I
take a picture with or whatever. Well, my friend put
that online and I ain't gonna say what fan group,
(01:27:41):
but y'all already know in the comments. Choice they edited
the end to make it look like Beyonce was trying
to avoid me. This thing has followed me. Well damn,
that's been annoying me though, like people really think she anyway,
that basically says she was running from me, but she wasn't.
But anyway, back back to that, I wasn't invited. It's
the Rock Nation runch. I've been there twice. It isn't inspired.
(01:28:03):
Do they have food. They do have food, it's it's opulent.
I don't ever see nobody talking about the food. It's
the Rock Nation runch because they're they're just there to
find Beyonce. That's it, y'all say, Rihanna. But it's it's
a well attended brunch, I will say. To Marlin Wayne's point, though,
there are when you do see the clips online you'd
be like, why are you there? Why you know? But
I've never thought about it. I don't think I've ever
been invited to the rock Nation run. I have the
(01:28:24):
one in the city. I remember the city they want
they did the world Trade were noe. I cared and
we didn't go though, but it's worth Attendant jay Z
talked to Desiree sentence all that invite with my peoples.
I love every single one in the individuals you just
name or what they don't know is it's Janna, she
want slut the Jane too. He runs all that, dropping
the clues bombs of rock Nation. A right, I am
(01:28:45):
a rock Nation supporter. All right, well that is your
rumor report when we come toward me as well, So
Luke the rock Nation when we come back. We got
the people's choice makes you don't move. It's the Breakfast
Cloucal Morning burning everybody. It's DJ Envy Charlemagne the guy.
We are to Breakfast Club. We got out host Jason
Lee with us today. I think Jason gonna be back tomorrow. Two.
We're gonna have two people in here tomorrow. Okay, Oh
(01:29:05):
that's so I think. Okay, I want to you know,
I want to shout out before we get about to
hit bunb Bunby turned fifty over the weekend. He had
to be born day, bun So Happy birthday, bun Be
and you know, uh he had this tril Burger at
the Rodeo and the night that he performed, he had
over seventy two thousand people in attendance. That this weekend.
That was what the concert was last week. But birthday weekend,
Happy born in the Queen Latifa two, Jason, Yep, she's
(01:29:28):
here in New York. I faced time the Chancellor for
the first time. She was bowling wow on her birthday?
What is your affection? I told her, you love her?
What is what is that? Um? I think that Queen
Lativa doesn't get the respect she deserves as far as
being somebody who you know, came up in hip hop
culture and him like a multi media mogul, you know.
And I always have loved the relationship that her and
(01:29:49):
shot Kim have because you know, everybody has these conversations
now about protect black women support black women like Shot
Kim and Queen Latifa have shown a black man and
a black woman dynamic from day one decades. You know
what I'm saying, from day one, being able to grow
and you know, evolve into what they're into and being that.
I'm somebody who you know that like my favorite partners
(01:30:10):
to work with the women as well, you know, whether
it's you know, Dolly Bishop at Black and Fancre, you
know Nicole Shelton at Audible, like these are people that
run my companies. I just like building things with sisters.
And I just think Flavor Unit is one of those
those institutions that we don't celebrate enough. Yeah. I always
tell you, always give show her love and always say
good things about it. And then she reposted you not
a few days ago and you didn't I didn't see that. Yeah,
(01:30:32):
she reposted you I did not see a repulse from
Queenlandifa to a video she filmed it. She said something
I saw that. Yeah, I saw that. Thank you for
that shout there. She's been such an inspiration in my life.
He've been friends for thirty years. She's always held me
down and when I got my new show to Jason
ly Show. She called me to say, stop going out
here giving everybody their flowers. It's time to get your own.
Stop saying that the reason why you have your shows
(01:30:52):
because what other people didn't do for you when you've
been putting in the work. Wow. She always comes at
the right time with the right word and shout out
to mc light too. I saw her the Black Women
in Hollywood Brunch and those two together, and I've got
an opportunity to tell show Kim, you know a couple
of times how much you know Flavor Unit and what
him and Latifa build inspired things that I'm doing, you know,
(01:31:13):
But I've never gotten to tell Queen Latifa that personally.
So one day I'm sure hopefully she comes up here
one day. I doubt it. I don't say that she
don't need. You know, she's been acting on social media
lately and doing more interviews. She usually very private. For
her to even answer her phone, Danny, you're the worst,
but you never know. She says she's gonna come and
do my shot. Tell because come to the show too.
That'd be great, but I doubt it. If it hadn't
(01:31:39):
the blessing, she don't need it, but she might just
want to come. She might feel like blessing us one day. Yeah,
there you go. Okay, all right, when we come back.
We got the positive notice to Breakfast Club. Good morning.
Everybody is DJ Envy Charlomagne the guy we are to
Breakfast Club out co host Jason Lee? Is he all?
Jason Lee is head man? You come back tomorrow. I'm
coming back. Okay. Well, I'm saying they have it. You
(01:32:01):
asked me, Now you got it. We got We got
another special person gonna be here tomorrow too, though I
don't want to say right now because not confirmed. It
is confirmed. But you know, anything gonna happened, you're just
gonna leave it at that. I'm leaving at that. We
wouldn't never tell them the night. We'll probably they tell
them then every tell them to night. All right, Well
you got a positive note, Yes I do have a
(01:32:21):
positive note. But first I want to tell people, Man,
make sure you go to event bright and get your
tickets for the first ever Black Effect Podcast Festival, happening
April twenty second in Atlanta at Pulman Yards, hosted by
myself and just Hilarious. Man. Those tickets are moving, moving,
so you need to get yours before we sell out. Okay, now,
the positive note is simply this work on your boundaries. Baby.
(01:32:43):
You can't be everything to everyone and nothing to yourself.
Breakfast Club you don't finish for y'all, dumb
