that's good. Like I haven't been getting more than like
ninety minutes of sleep.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
Now, have you been walking? Have you tried to cast
the oio? Have you, you know, did what you did
to try to get the baby out sooner?
Speaker 8 (01:24):
Or no?
Speaker 1 (01:25):
I'm gonna be honest with you, Yo, I'm so scared
to try a cast the oil beverage. Like I am
so scared.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
I don't know. I don't want to throw it up.
I don't want to upset, like is it healthy?
Speaker 1 (01:37):
Like it just sounds like some unhealthy ish like for
real to drink cast or oil.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
I'll be honest, anytime I hear anything cast or oil
for some for some raw or reason, I think of cars, right,
and I'm thinking, are you gonna put the same thing
in the car? I could be totally wrong. Yeah, we've
had six kids, she's never had cast oil. Usually a
sex and just walk and the baby comes. So I
don't know. But you know, people say cast the oil works.
I honestly do not know.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
That's what I was gonna do. I was gonna try
to walk and then like try to conjure up some
hormones to have sex because I don't have those right now,
but I was gonna try to do that instead of
like the cast. I can't do the cast of Oil Margarita.
I just can't do it.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
Just said, I know, you know this maybe a little
bit too much, Tami, but the first baby, I didn't
really want to have sex with my wife because I
felt like I would be messing up the baby's head exactly.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
And Chris don't feel like that at all.
Speaker 3 (02:28):
Quite He's trying to get it and he like please,
I'm like, no, Jesus Christ, all right, well, let's start
the show. We have Morgan shot. We joined us for
Front Page News. When we come back and slew to
everybody that's been supporting the car show, that's what I've
been doing. We have two car shows to play in,
one in Shreveport, Louisiana, and it's difficult when you're not
(02:49):
in the city because you're trying to make sure everything
works right and everything is flawless. But it's gonna be
pretty dope. So many celebrities is gonna be pulling up
out in the Shreveport and then August seventeenth, the day
that Jess is actually do what one in New York,
New Jersey area, and we're always telling people bring the
family out. We try to do this because we want
an affordable. Something affordable says that you could come. You
could bring your family, you could bring your grandparents, you
(03:10):
could bring your kids and your nephews and your nieces.
And there's so much to do. My kids are out
there all day. They'll be playing with your kids. They'll
be on obstacle courses, rides or the game and trucks.
It's just a big family fun day. I really do
because I need a place for my kids to go.
But hopefully you could join us. August seventeenth and all
that stuff. Well, let's get the show, Cracker. We got
front page news. We'll do that when we come back,
(03:30):
so don't move. It's to breakfast Club. Good morning morning everybody.
It's dj n V Jess Hilarious, Charlamage the God. We
are the Breakfast Club. Now, let's get in some front
page news.
Speaker 5 (03:40):
Good morning, Morgan, morning morning, Happy Tuesday. So in case
you missed it, President Biden is pushing for major reforms
to the Supreme Court, as Charlemagne has asked as he
marks the sixtieth anniversary of the Civil Rights Act. Now,
while speaking from the Lyndon B. Johnson Presidential Library in Austin, Texas.
He called for eighteen year term limits for justices and
(04:03):
an enforceable code of ethics. He also proposed a constitutional
amendment to limit the broad immunity granted to presidents recently
by the Supreme Court's decision now. Biden argued that extreme
opinions from the Supreme Court in recent years have undermined
long established civil rights protections. He cited the Court's decisions
to overturn Roe v. Wade and grant broad immunity to
(04:25):
presidents now. Meanwhile, top Republicans are slamming President Biden for
his calls to overhaul the Supreme Court. Senate Minority Leader
Mitch McConnell he's one of them, he says. The Biden
administration wants the change the Supreme Court as we know it.
Let's hear more from Mitch.
Speaker 9 (04:38):
President Biden has left us allies don't like the current
composition of the court, so they want to shred the
Constitution to change it. He won'ts what he calls an
essex code. Does that already use?
Speaker 7 (04:49):
This?
Speaker 10 (04:50):
Wise?
Speaker 9 (04:51):
The Biden Harrish administration so willing to put the Crown
jewel of our system of government, the independent judiciary to
the torch there.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
What I mean Jasmine Crockett spoke about this yesterday when
she pulled up. But the problem with that is is
lifetime you're serving lifetime in the Supreme Court is just
wild and I don't understand why people don't see it.
I mean, the value is the way that we think,
the way that have changed throughout the years. I mean,
just think about the things that your parents think about
that totally have changed in the last twenty thirty forty years.
(05:21):
So things change, and sometimes you need some young blood
in there, some younger people in there that can help.
But when I mean young, I don't mean twenty one
and twenty five, but younger, because you have some people
on that Supreme Court that's seventy eighty years old.
Speaker 10 (05:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (05:33):
Right, So when you talk about old presidents, there you go.
You got old justices. Mine just overhauled the whole government
and bring in some young talent. So the move does
come after several justices have faced allegations of ethics violations.
Now the court has ruled on again several historic cases
within the last few years. Now, former President Trump switching
gears he wants to explain what he told a conservative
(05:55):
Christian summit that they don't have to vote anymore after
November election. Now, you remember he made those comments and
I played those yesterday. But he joined Fox News host
Laura Ingram yesterday and tried to clear things up.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
Let's hear from former President Trump.
Speaker 11 (06:10):
Christians are not known as a big voting group.
Speaker 3 (06:13):
They don't vote.
Speaker 11 (06:14):
And I'm explaining that to him.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
You never vote.
Speaker 11 (06:17):
This time vote, I'll straighten out the country. You won't
have to vote anymore.
Speaker 3 (06:21):
I won't need you vote.
Speaker 11 (06:22):
If you voted for her or the Democrats, you should
have your head examined, because nobody's ever been treated so
badly by this administration. Is destroying Israel, et cetera, et cetera.
Speaker 5 (06:35):
Yeah, sounds like more of the same to me. I
don't know what he actually cleared up, but many people
are speculating that this means that there will be no
more elections under a second Trump term than the former. Yes,
he did, and then the former president also said that
gun owners don't vote. So yeah, this actually comes at
a very interesting time. The NABJ National Association of Black
(06:56):
Journalists are set to host former President Trump this week
in Chicago for a Q and A. I was saying,
he's invited not so much to the cookout, but he
will be grilled. The NBJ Annual Convention and Career Fair
takes place on Wednesday, with Trump set to take place.
Take part excuse Me and a Q and A with
political journalists before an audience of registered convention attendees. Now,
the questions will center around some of the more pressing
(07:19):
issues happening in the black community. It will not be
open to the public, but it will be live streams
across the NABJ YouTube and Facebook pages, which I have
access to, so you know, I'm gonna check that out.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
Now, with those type of Q and a's, do they
monitor the questions before asked or is it a free
for all?
Speaker 1 (07:36):
So I am not sure.
Speaker 5 (07:37):
There have been times where political officials have received questions
in advance, but I doubt that they're coming in with
you know, not to say it like that, but you
know black journalists are like, now we're gonna shoot the ish.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
Yeah, that's what I was saying, because he much know
that they're about to shoot the ish. So it was
one of those things. I'm like, I wonder if he's
gonna say, you know what, let me see the questions
before y'all come, before y'all invited.
Speaker 5 (07:59):
I don't die that he probably has a handful of
questions to be prepared in a sense, but there's probably
going to be some rogue ones as well. Yeah, it's
it'll be interesting to watch and see what happens around that,
you know, as each candidate.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
Tries to vy for votes.
Speaker 5 (08:15):
So this this one right here, you know, between Amber
Rose on the stage, this is definitely another step in
trying to secure votes in the black community.
Speaker 3 (08:26):
All right, well that is front page News. We'll see
you next album, Morgan.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
Absolutely everybody else.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
Get it off your chest eight hundred five five one
oh five one. If you need the phone lines a
wide open again eight hundred five eight five one oh
five one. Charlamage is out today, so call us up.
Get it off your chest. It's the Breakfast Club. Good
morning the Breakfast Club.
Speaker 6 (08:49):
Mate, this is your time to get it off your chest,
whether you're mad or blessed.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
I hate the way that.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
You walk, the way that you talk, I hate the
way that you dress.
Speaker 3 (08:57):
Everything when me is best eight hundred.
Speaker 2 (09:02):
One, that's just me.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
I'm with the coach of Philly. Hello, who's this?
Speaker 12 (09:06):
What's up?
Speaker 13 (09:07):
DJ?
Speaker 2 (09:07):
Every reckless club?
Speaker 10 (09:08):
This is Uber Mike.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
I got doing Uber Michael, I.
Speaker 2 (09:11):
Got doing pretty good. Hey, I just want to say
one thing. Can I just get out one different message
to parents and fellow drivers? Stop picking up these kids.
That is happening all over it. Even in South Carolina
two miners.
Speaker 10 (09:24):
Were picked up by a driver and molested by sex
offenders or whatever. I don't know how these skill are
getting ubers, man, and it's frustrating.
Speaker 3 (09:33):
Well, well, let's flip it a little bit. How are
these uber drivers getting jobs if they have those type
of things on their record, If they, you know, are
picking up people, well they.
Speaker 2 (09:42):
They go through a background check or basic background check
or whatever.
Speaker 10 (09:45):
But you know, you never know the things are people.
But uh, the.
Speaker 2 (09:48):
Fact that a kid can get in.
Speaker 10 (09:50):
An uber, man, it's driving me nut.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
And I got.
Speaker 3 (09:54):
Uh, yeah, I get what you're saying. But the problem
is that to with, you know, some of these some
of these parents, they have so many things to do.
They got work, they got this down and the other
so they be like, you know, let me throw my
kid in the uber so he can get to school
at sixteen or seventeen. You know what I mean. So
you know you feel safe with the uber because at
least you see the person's picture. They're, like you said,
(10:14):
you think they're vetted. So I understand why parents do
do it. Younger kids. I don't understand, but you know thirteen, fourteen,
fifty sixty, I understand because parents sometimes need a little help.
Speaker 10 (10:24):
No, no, I get that.
Speaker 2 (10:25):
So if DJ, let me just start this one question.
It Rid Shane was so cool, then why don't think
you play? Everybody rides it? Why is it an age limit?
Speaker 10 (10:33):
Eighteen? It up?
Speaker 3 (10:35):
That's true, okay.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
But I can have a good morning.
Speaker 3 (10:38):
I ain't gonna sit there in line and act like
I ain't put my sixteen year old son in the
uber before. When Logan was in school, like I definitely did,
like you know what I mean. It was times where
he had to get to practice and I had to
go pick up one kid. But you know, Logan was
also playing football. He ain't an little bay touch him.
But I get what you're saying. Thank you.
Speaker 10 (10:52):
Look at those sexual assaults though, Just look at those cases.
Speaker 3 (10:55):

out of Columbus, Ohio. Man, and uh, it's want to
spread the rarets out here for people that think that
ten dollars budgets is a safe thing to do.
Speaker 3 (11:18):
So pay for food.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
Paying for food, man, like you know we got we
got a party at three hundred people. My budget is
two hundred dollars. Damn.
Speaker 3 (11:26):
You can't even get McDonald's for that, can't You.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
Can get a bunch of mod for that.
Speaker 1 (11:33):

Speaker 3 (13:02):
How are you feeling?
Speaker 10 (13:03):
I'm not right, I'm not I'll just pull all night
this so I can get this go over my chest.
I'm mad, Sharlo mains not there, but it's his names
that I went to go see Bill Maher on Saturday
in Wallingford, Connecticut. I bought my little sister, her friend
and my mens. We just you know, went to have
a good time. Ten minutes, not even ten minutes in
sat down. We were out of our element, Like no
(13:25):
one looked like us. It looked like a bunch of
old people and overweight, obese for whatever. So we can yeo.
They come ten minutes and say, sir, if we tell
you about the phone again, you're gonna have to leave.
Nobody had their phones out. This is all like a
you know, premeditated. They just had this as a script. Boom,
people was happening, told us this, this isn't happening. We're
(13:46):
gonna sit here and enjoy this like everyone else. She
went go got the big black guy. He was like,
can you come with me? He's talking to me like, yeah,
obviously didn't read the spines. I'm blown away right now.
I don't know what's happening. So I'm just like, yo,
we're just gonna sit here and watch Bill. I want
to see he got going on. He was like, yeah,
situations escavating the book in it, so Almo. So sure,
I got escorted out the building and baas I'm a veteran.
(14:06):
I got the tickets off the veteran website and the
Oakdale Theater in Walford. They owed me some money over
five minutes, and that young black man he owed me
five minutes too.
Speaker 3 (14:16):
Damn. So you didn't have your phone out at all?
Speaker 12 (14:19):
No, not at all.
Speaker 10 (14:20):
We just sat down. Man, I'm grown ass man, I'll
be forty in four years on play like that. I
would go there to enjoyed this live. I rarely do it,
but I people it was. There was no other black
people there besides that that young man who was a slave,
and then us who were.
Speaker 3 (14:36):
The supposed to be the enjoyers of the So you
didn't pull out your phone at all. You ain't checked
the time, You ain't check a Texan brocket.
Speaker 10 (14:44):
I got a smart watch and it's so dark you
can see through the peripheral if anybody's phone is out.
We just sat down. We just sat down. We got drinks,
food in our hand, whatever like this. I knew what
it was. And then once she came over and said
it to me like a robot. She was like, sir,
if we tell you one work time about the phone.
You're gonna have to be escorted. I'm like, wait what
looking around my people look at me like we ain't
(15:05):
doing nothing.
Speaker 2 (15:05):
What's up.
Speaker 10 (15:06):
I'm like, oh, I get it, no mess, We're not
doing this. We're gonna see her in joor. You know
what I'm saying. I'm good with people, by the way.
So I tried to de escalate it, but it was
just a you know, they had an in motion. Get
them out of that.
Speaker 3 (15:18):
When I'm sorry you got kicked out, brother, yea, it
is what it is.
Speaker 10 (15:21):
I love got Charlotte made only five minutes too, and
the book.
Speaker 3 (15:25):
All right, brother, I was with a bunch of white
big bags. I'll tell you the time I got kicked
out of the show.
Speaker 1 (15:34):
Pull up my phone, No, Ken is that a white show?
Speaker 3 (15:37):
No, Kevin Harkett. Why. I was in Philly and I
have my phone. Help And it was like, sir, sir,
you can't be on your phone. I'm like, look, my
wife's pregnant. So when the text come through, I got
to be able to read it, they said, sir, and
they threw my ass out mine. Kev's on stage before me.
He sees me leaving and it says, you see, you
(15:58):
should have been on your phone and they out, Oh
my god, Now this was an arena like fifty thousand,
forty thousand people and they kicked my eyes right out. Embarrassing.
That's fed up embarrassing. I walked out there, trying to
make me walk out there like George Jefferson moved my
ouse like I don't want to be here anyway, Madison, mother,
kick me right out, get it off your chest. Eight
(16:18):
hundred five, eight five, one oh five to one. Now
we got just with the mess coming up.
Speaker 1 (16:23):
What we're talking about, Yes, Tory Lane's driver, change the story.
So apparently some thing's happened differently that night. But we
can get into it, all.
Speaker 3 (16:31):
Right, we'll get into that next. It's the Breakfast Club.
Good morning, the Breakfast Club. Warning everybody, it's DJ n V,
Jess Hilarious, Charlomage the god we are the Breakfast Club.
Charlamagne is out. But let's get to Jess with the mess.
You use a real whether it's the Lions, Jeff car
Robbin Moore, just don't do no lines, don't do that.
Talk the.
Speaker 6 (16:54):
Talk the world why jests worldwise talk on the Breakfast
Club coaching shooting.
Speaker 16 (17:01):
She was able to get y'all to see something and
understand something that nobody could.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
Get you to see this time to set it off.
So what we do know is Toy is currently serving
a ten year sentence but maintains that he is innocent.
Earlier this year, we remember Tory filed for an appill
in the twenty twenty case involving a shooting of Mega Stallion,
but now a statement from his appeal is going viral.
So a statement from Tory's driver was filed on December fifth,
(17:28):
twenty twenty three, shortly before Tory's team filed for his appeal.
The driver's name is Jikwan or Jaikuan Smith, and Jaquan's
statement he claimed that he saw Megan's friend Kelsey with
the gun, and he said Tory noticed the gun also
and attempted to get it away from Kelsey. He also
claimed that while Tory and Kelsey were fighting over the gun,
it went off. He also claims that the prosecution wouldn't
(17:51):
allow him to testify. His statement was supposed to serve
as new evidence in this case, which would help Tory
get an a pill, but prosecutors argue that the statement
is not new evidence. This is something that they already
like knew he submitted this, and they knew about it
at the time when it was an active case when
they were in court and stuff. And they reportedly did
(18:12):
not call Jakwan to the stand during the trial because
the California Attorney General's office felt that it wouldn't even
help the case, because I mean, you still had your
hand on the gun, you know what I'm saying. They
felt like it just wouldn't have help the case. So
they already they basically was like, no, we already knew this,
we didn't use it, then we're not using it now.
Speaker 3 (18:30):
I disagree. I mean, if he's the only witness in
the car, yeah, I mean you would love to see
him on stand and give his testimony of what happened.
Or the fact that he wasn't on the stand, and
I mean they're saying that he wasn't allowed to testify.
It seems kind of crazy to me because at the
end of the day, you know, whether you are team
Toy a team Megan, you want the truth, right, you
want to see what really happened. And if he shot her,
(18:51):
then he deserves to be in jail. But if he didn't.
He deserves to be free. But you know, I think
that people just want the truth.
Speaker 1 (18:58):
And that's yeah, that's what it is. But in Megan's news,
she is set to perform at Kamala hers rally tonight
in Atlanta at seven thirty pm. She let her Instagram
and all her social platforms know acl hotties, I see
you tonight. Well she posted this yesterday, so it was
I see you tomorrow for Kamala Kamala's rally. This would
(19:21):
be Kamala's fifteenth trip to Georgia since becoming VP, and
her first trip during her own presidential runs. So and
what's interesting is Georgia is critical, is a critical state
to win because it was formerly a red state that
voted blue in the last presidential election.
Speaker 3 (19:38):
So politics, did you see a little bit like But
I love the fact that Kamala is on the road.
She seems like you know, when a new artist comes
out and they just signed to a label and they
hitting every market. That's what That's what it seems like
she's doing, and that's what's needed. I mean, people need
to see it and then be able to talk to
(19:58):
if they're having problems or common flicks with something they
need to be able to feel like they can talk
to the person that they're electing. And I love the
fact that she's she's hitting small markets, big markets. I
love the people, the fact that she's bringing people out.
And you know what helps with that youth the fact
that she's a lot younger, I don't want to say youth,
With the fact that she's a lot younger than Joe Biden,
that she's a lot younger than Donald Trump. She could
(20:19):
get out there on the road and talk to people,
you know, and not be.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
More in touch and stay more in touch with people.
So it's good to see her on the ground. So
atl y'all support that tonight, y'all go ahead. Audio reveals
Officer Sean Grayson was in trouble before so CBS new
he's obtained the audio that revealed that Deputy Sean Grayson
was reprimanded for putting false information in this police reports
(20:43):
almost two years ago before he shot and killed Sonya
Massy in Springfield, Illinois.
Speaker 8 (20:47):
Got the report seven months on, how are you still
employed by US?
Speaker 2 (20:52):
Sean?
Speaker 8 (20:53):
Do you understand what I am saying? Yes, I do, sir,
and I've had this conversation with you before. We can't
trust what you say and what you see. We can't
have you on our uniform. I'm calling you on your integrity.
Do you understand it?
Speaker 2 (21:07):
Yes?
Speaker 10 (21:07):
I don't get angry with this because.
Speaker 8 (21:10):
One, I have no experience before I came here, I
had no experience too. I wasn't allowed to do this
right here.
Speaker 17 (21:15):
I was not allowed to review my videos.
Speaker 2 (21:17):
This is termination.
Speaker 8 (21:18):
This is extremely concerning.
Speaker 3 (21:20):
Everybody likes you.
Speaker 8 (21:21):
I gotta be able to trust you. Was this a
purposely done lie?
Speaker 2 (21:27):
No?
Speaker 3 (21:28):
Yeah, I don't understand that. It's certain jobs. I don't
want to say certain jobs, most jobs, but especially being
a police officer, where if you caught lying, if you're
caught doctoring your police report, you should be fired and
let go immediately and not able to go to another
department because it's reinstated anywhere you lied, and that lie
could affect people's lives. Like we always we always look
(21:49):
for justice, right and I understand if somebody does something
wrong and they get prosecuted, then it is what it is.
But if you're lying on a police report to damn
there force them to go to jail, that's a lie.
Like that, that is a lot like you know, how
many times you've been pulled over and they said you
rolled through a stop sign and you know you didn't
roll through a stop sign. You didn't And you know
they pulled you over because they want to see what's
(22:10):
in your car, you know what I mean. And those
are lies, and those lies get people killed. So yeah,
it's a tough one when when you get caught lying
on a police report like that, you should be for suspension,
like you should be fined.
Speaker 1 (22:22):
Yeah, and also, man, this man was discharged from the
army for serious misconduct and had a history of driving
under the influence. Like oh yeah, yeah, he failed to
old bed command while he was working where that recording
was at all, Right, so that was he was that
was at the sheriff's office in Illinois. He was working
for Logan County. But it was reported that while he
(22:44):
was at the sheriff's the Sheriff's office, he also failed
to obey a command and was told that he needed
high stress decision making classes.
Speaker 3 (22:53):
So like all of this is leading up to hear
now which is which is crazy crazy. She shouldn't have
been in that situation because he shouldn't have been on
the job.
Speaker 1 (23:02):
No, not at all. Even before this, So yeah, but
that is you, Jester, the mess for the first hour.
Speaker 3 (23:09):
All right, thank you, Jess. Now when we come back,
we got front page News. Morgan would will be joining us,
and then we're gonna open up the phone lines eight
hundred five eight five one oh five to one. We
want to know what celebrity has you blocked? All right?
Eight hundred five eight five one oh five one. You know,
sometimes you leave comments and maybe people don't like it,
maybe celebrity doesn't like it and it blocked you. What
(23:29):
celebrity has you blocked? And why? We'll discuss after front
page News. It's the breakfast Club, Good morning, pouring everybody
a cej Envy, Jess, hilarious, Charlomagne the guy we are
the breakfast Club. Charlemagne is out this morning, but we
have Morgan Wood and let's get in some front page news.
Good morning, Morgan News.
Speaker 1 (23:45):
Good morning, Let's get into it.
Speaker 5 (23:47):
So the Democratic governor of Maryland, where me and Jess stay,
it's criticizing members of his own party who publicly demanded
President Biden and end his re election campaign. Now, Maryland
Governor Wes Moore told ABC's This Week Biden deserved better
than people around him publicly calling on him.
Speaker 1 (24:04):
To step aside.
Speaker 5 (24:05):
Although he did agree Biden should end his presidency, let's
hear more from Governor Moore.
Speaker 4 (24:10):
I'm a loyalty person, and I believe that you can
have proper conversations and tell people the truth and you know,
and be able to tell them what you're hearing without
also then turning around and publicly then trying to embarrass them.
I also know that the president deserved better than people
running out and going into public and demanding that the
President of the United States stepped down.
Speaker 3 (24:30):
I mean, I agree with them. I think it was embarrassing.
I think, you know, Democrats should show some type of
loyalty and unity. But on the other side, maybe they
did have that conversation, and maybe he wasn't trying to leave,
and sometimes you got to embarrass somebody to get him
the f out of it. But I do feel like
it was a slap in the face. You know, you
look at the other side of Republicans, they show a
lot of loyalty. I feel like the Democrats don't. I mean,
(24:52):
they talk behind each other's back, they talk to each
other's face, and it's like, how can you expect people
to want to commit to the Democratic Party and vote
for the Democratic It seems like a lot of times
the Democratic Party doesn't ride with each other. So I
understand him completely what he was saying.
Speaker 1 (25:05):
Yeah, given mean girl energy, Yeah, yeah, have some kouth.
Speaker 5 (25:10):
Of course, this does come as Biden has exited the
election following recent growing pressure from the Democratic Party.
Speaker 13 (25:15):
Now.
Speaker 5 (25:15):
Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris, who is the party's presumptive nominee,
may soon announce her pick to be running mate. Now,
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, who was recently on the show
a few weeks back, told CBS Mornings Harris will likely
decide on her pick to be vice president in the
next six or seven days now. Whitmer is co chair
of Harris's presidential campaign and shot down speculation that she
(25:37):
could be a possible contender as a running mate. Now
North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper also reportedly removed himself from consideration.
CNN cited sources who said that he was concerned with
going through the process at the age of sixty seven.
I'm telling you, the old guys are out of here,
So it should appear that the list is narrowing down
(25:57):
to Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro and Arizona Senator Mark Kelly.
I'm not even hearing as much about New Jersey Governor
Phil Murphy's name in the mix. And of course, the
Democratic National Committee plans to start a virtual role call
to choose its presidential nominee by August first.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
Now.
Speaker 5 (26:16):
Meanwhile, California Governor Gavin Newsom, he says he will be
signing legislation soon that will ban ai generated deep fake
political videos.
Speaker 1 (26:23):
This comes as a promise.
Speaker 5 (26:25):
After billionaire Elon Musk reposted a video of Kamala Harris
seemingly exposing herself as an incompetent candidate for president. Newsom
said the video excuse me, should be illegal, and Musk
replied by saying he confirmed that it is a parody
and parodies are legal in America.
Speaker 1 (26:42):
Comedy will protect you, right, Jess. It's unclear which bill
the governor.
Speaker 5 (26:46):
Is referring to, as there are many currently debating in
the legislature. And of course you got to stay tuned
on what's going on with Olympic coverage right here on
the free iHeartRadio app, Yes Team US. The competition continued
yesterday at the Roland Garros. At at least the tennis
competition continued. Yesterday American Coco golf cruise to a six
(27:09):
to one, six one win over Maria lord Is Carl
in the second round action. Meanwhile, the US men's gymnastics
team brought home bronze, their first battle since two thousand
and eight. US gymnast Frederick Richard said, it all starts
with hard work.
Speaker 1 (27:23):
Let's hear more from him. I mean, it feels amazing
all the hard work, the hard days for years and
years that paid off the universe.
Speaker 3 (27:29):
You know, it works in crazy ways and it showed
us we deserved it today.
Speaker 5 (27:33):
Yeah, congratulations guy, team, And yeah, I tuned into that man.
Speaker 1 (27:38):
Them boys be working hard.
Speaker 3 (27:40):
Yeah yeah. Now Frederick is a brother that that them
gymnastics boys. It's so scary because a little to the left,
a little to the right, a jump too high affect
your point. It affects your points. Yeah, so you almost
have to be then there perfect. So I salute that brother.
Speaker 1 (27:55):
Yeah, shout out to the black man on the team.
Speaker 5 (27:57):
And of course the women's gymnastics teams they take their
final takes place today. Simone Biles will be leading Team USA.
She aims for her fifth Olympic gold medal and eighth
medal overall. The US looks to return to the top
spot after settling for silver at the twenty twenty Tokyo Games.
Americans now have twenty total medals, including three gold, eight silver,
(28:18):
and nine bronze.
Speaker 1 (28:19):
USA US c listen, look, listen. Old man France is
on our ass. Italy. They was like, no, we can't
win this, but but.
Speaker 3 (28:30):
We are so now. I like, we up, but I
need more gold though. I want them gold, you know,
I mean we got but but friends got five, Japan
got six. We only got three. We need them goals.
Speaker 1 (28:39):
It's facts, that's fact.
Speaker 3 (28:41):
Yes, And did you all see that? Did y'all see
before you leave? Did y'all see the women's basketball and
Britney grind and how tall she looked over all but
they played Japanese and how tall they looked like they
were just scouring over them.
Speaker 1 (28:53):
They yeah, and her and Agel Wilson, they was doing anythings.
Speaker 3 (28:56):
I was like, okay, Pops, that Pops was busting ass
yesterday to the women's basketball team.
Speaker 5 (29:02):
Thank you, that's your front page news. I Morgan would
of course follow me on socials at Morgan Media M

after meeting her wild out.
Speaker 18 (29:58):

that she was doing she ended up in the me.

So I was trying to, you know, get my free pomo.

Man, he kind of made me mad man respectfully man,
because he was like Onna Blad or something and he
was just dogging Dame Chapel Man.
Speaker 18 (39:27):
I just didn't like it.
Speaker 7 (39:28):

told him about you know, I'm a fan, but he
was even mad. I said I was a fan, like
was dogging dogged Dave Chappelle's only for white people. He
pretty much called Dave Sapel to see word, which I
don't like when black people do that.

Speaker 3 (40:26):
Kt? What celebrity has you blocked?
Speaker 19 (40:28):
The only celebrity is that he blocked is Natalie None.
Speaker 3 (40:32):
What you said about Natalie None, it was years.
Speaker 19 (40:34):
Ago when she first started Daddy Lebrity.
Speaker 10 (40:38):
It was easy.
Speaker 19 (40:39):
It was it was years ago when she first started
Daddies And I just me being a fan of Bagirls
Club back in the day audition back in the day,
and I was like, dang, Natalie, it's crazy that your
lack of process progress made you creator show to embarrass
other women as she block me. And I was only
saying that because the way the Bad Girls Club used
(41:03):
to be back in the day is nothing at all
like the batty she was doing now. So I felt
like the way she tried to turn.
Speaker 1 (41:08):
It definitely had they had they had storylines and everything.
Speaker 19 (41:14):
Yes, and it's like they were bringing people like self
program stuff proclaimed Bad Girls together to like put themselves
out there and really just be you know, bad girl.
I can't say to be worried, but you know, and
if they if your fight's got a little bit too deep,
they sent you home. In every place you but on
the new Batty's like at auditions, she wants you to
(41:34):
pull a girl wig off and beat her down at
the auditions.
Speaker 1 (41:36):
And I was like, what is this, Like, yeah, I
get it. I have a little sister. Yeah, I have
a little sister who loves you show and like watching
the auditions, Like she just wants you to fight, and
she can't even fight, but she just want you to
fight to be on the show. She wants you to
fight to stay on the show. She wants you to
fight and kick you off. Like yeah, it's just a
(41:58):
bunch of senseless negativity.
Speaker 10 (42:00):
So it's very senseless.
Speaker 19 (42:02):
So I'm like for you to take their original theme
of Bad Girls Club, which you know her her presence
on Bad Girls Club, either you loved her or you
hated her. It was no in between really, but she
grew a lot from that show, and I thought she
would do something to do something positive for people in
instead she just embarrassed. She's been embarrassing women for years,
and so that's why I said something, and that's why
she blocked you as Thank you, mama.
Speaker 3 (42:23):
One more caller, Hello, who's this Tashshi?
Speaker 11 (42:26):
Man?
Speaker 3 (42:26):
What celebrity has you blocked?
Speaker 2 (42:29):
Tye?
Speaker 3 (42:31):
May have me blocked too? What did you say about
Tyree's man?
Speaker 5 (42:35):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (42:35):
Man, it was the whole What more do you want
from me?
Speaker 10 (42:37):
I dogged him?
Speaker 3 (42:39):
See so so you started it, So you understand why
you blocked?
Speaker 4 (42:42):
Yeah, I do.
Speaker 11 (42:43):
You know what.
Speaker 7 (42:44):
I just want to say, thank you.
Speaker 12 (42:45):
This is my first time ever getting through.
Speaker 10 (42:47):
I'm a big fan of the show.
Speaker 3 (42:48):
I appreciate you, brother, Thank you so much. What's the
more of the story, just said, man, I dogged him.
Speaker 1 (42:54):
Just be expected to be blocked if you running your
mouth for me. Now, people got the got the option
to see it or not say it, and they will
block you. I will block you. Uh, Envy will block
you twice if you could.
Speaker 3 (43:07):
Yep, we just know.
Speaker 1 (43:09):
Just watch them all own. You know what I'm saying,
because it's real people with real feelings out here.
Speaker 9 (43:13):
Now.
Speaker 1 (43:13):
Jokes cool, we play all day, but when you're trying
to be fine, when you ins somebody and you just
you know, you got just know it's a possibility you
may go back and you're not able to see what
that person's posting anymore.
Speaker 3 (43:24):
So yeah, I will block you in a minute. The
jokes is jokes. I mean we all take jokes, and
I mean I laugh at the jokes. But if you
get fouled, I'll block. Not only do I block you,
I block your IP address so you can't even create
new Instagram pages from that phone or that that computer.
I'll block your whole IP. I block you can't see
my wife, you can't see nothing. You can't see my kids.
(43:45):
If I had access to the Breakfast Lub page, I
block you on now. If I had access to the
power page album to block king yep blocks. Whatever you
want to call I will block you.
Speaker 1 (43:55):
Hey, yo, and uh that's why I call it. She
go to a call th show. You're not no Calus
to Chico. You're not gonna be able to see DJ
mvy kids on the staircase. That is so funny, Yo,
Please don't block me.
Speaker 2 (44:11):
All right?
Speaker 3 (44:11):
Well we got just with the mess coming up. What
we're talking about, yo.
Speaker 1 (44:14):
Corey Hardrick is deemed the best actor in the world
after divorcing The Black Best acting the World over Over,
Denzel over, Michael b jor like it's phenomenal.
Speaker 3 (44:25):
There we go with these lists again. I want to
know who's making these lists into the complex list, like
who's making these lists? Like you guys, can't you know
what we'll discuss when we come back as the Breakfast Club.
Good morning morning everybody. It's d J n V, Jess, Hilarius, Charlomagne,
the guy we are the Breakfast Club. Charlemagne is out.
Let's get to Jess with the mess.
Speaker 2 (44:45):
Youse is real.
Speaker 1 (44:46):
Whether it's just Robber Moore just don't do no lines,
don't do.
Speaker 19 (44:50):
That talk.
Speaker 20 (44:54):
Talk world.
Speaker 3 (44:55):
Why Jess worldwide mess on the Breakfast Club the coaching ship.
Speaker 1 (45:01):
She was able to get y'all to see something and
understand something that nobody could get you to see.
Speaker 3 (45:06):
The time to set it off?
Speaker 1 (45:09):
Ayo, real quick before we dive into the new yow.
I'm so you know it's all types of like recipes
that be on like tik tik and stuff like that. Yo,
last night, I mean chicken and shrimp afraid of garlic bread?
Speaker 3 (45:23):
How'd you do that?
Speaker 1 (45:25):
Crazy?
Speaker 2 (45:25):
Yo?
Speaker 1 (45:26):
I just schefed it up. It's this girl. Her name
Chef Danny cooking with Chef Danny. I think she'd be having.
Speaker 3 (45:32):
The most bomb out of the ordinary recipes, but it'd
be so good regular several using the Hawaiian bread, you know,
like the Hawaiian bread, the little put I'm using those
for garlic bread.
Speaker 1 (45:47):
I'm oh, yeah, that that that sound good too.
Speaker 3 (45:51):
I make those with French toasts, but like yeah, I mean,
I make French toast with those, but like, yo, it's
so good. I got some right here, right now, I
got somebody here seven in the morning, seven in the.
Speaker 1 (46:03):
Morning, yo, seven in the morning. So he the best
act in the world. So, according to Hollywood Unlocked, they
shared a post about Corey Hardrick regarding his role and
divorce in The Black. Now the capture said, Corey Hardrick
is one of the best actors in the world. The
people are going crazy for him and Tyler Perry's divorce
(46:23):
in the Black. Give that man his flowers, so drop
a clues bomb for this man, right.
Speaker 3 (46:31):
I ain't mat at Corey, but they said that the
best in the world.
Speaker 1 (46:34):
Yeah yeah, and that's that's why I wanted to give
him his flowers for his bomb, all right. And then now,
excuse me, yo, why why would somebody like, why did
And that's why I be laughing, And I know I
don't want him to come in my comments again, I
don't want to be blocked. But like Corey, you know
(46:54):
who damn wow? So over Will Smith, over Denzel Washington,
over who else?
Speaker 3 (47:03):
We got?
Speaker 1 (47:04):
We got like ten twenty other people.
Speaker 3 (47:07):
Said, Michael's in the world, Michael Michael Illi.
Speaker 1 (47:12):
Yes, I like Cory.
Speaker 3 (47:14):
I like Corey, he's a dope back there. But the
best acting in the world. See, that's what we stole.
People start making these lists and people start getting offended
by these lists. But like you said, I like Corey,
but over Denzel no, no, the best? Yeah right, we
got bust, we got Butler, like I could keep going
(47:34):
just with the Bruce willis Man Bruce like, I know,
I know, but I'm just saying, like, in the world
got you?
Speaker 1 (47:43):
All right? We talk about currently still even currently like
people who acting.
Speaker 3 (47:48):
Like see, I don't know who comes up with these lists,
and I think sometimes they be trying to troll us
with these lists. They do it all the time with music.
Who's the best artists, who's the best musician, Who's the
best disc I mean, I see people going back and
forth by who's the best media personnally? But I think
people make these lists just patrolling it. It's it's like,
you know, they're like butt buttholes everybody else. Everybody got
an opinion, everybody got one, so it is what it is.
Speaker 8 (48:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (48:09):
Yeah, some of the comments are just so funny. It's
said when a black man plays an abusive character, he
gets his flowers. Denzel one for training day and not
Malcolm X. Lawrence Fishburne is known for ike China, Monique
one for being an abusive parent. The cycle is crazy,
so like they're because they're deeming after this role, after
(48:31):
this role and divorced. In the Black as Dallas, he
is known as the best actor in the world.
Speaker 7 (48:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (48:36):
Somebody else said paid advertisingitizing. Somebody else said, sorry, but
Will Smith is the best actor in the world. Somebody
has said what he's actually on my hate list with
Charles and Mike. So y'all y'all will know what that
means if y'all are Avid Tyler Perry movie watchers like
because he because you know, Charles from Diary of a
(48:56):
Mad Black Woman. I still can't stand him because of
how he did hell, I can't yep and then Mike
from Why Did I Get Married? He he was messy,
like he belonged on Bad Girls Club, Like he was
real messy at the dinner table. Yo, you never seen
none of these movies, I know.
Speaker 3 (49:13):
Just say no no, that's all I was gonna say.
I was gonna make it just just no, no, just no, no,
I haven't I haven't No.
Speaker 1 (49:20):
All right, Well, shout out the Coreys for being the
best act in the world. Yeah, this is funny, yo.
And somebody was like, I bet to you a punching
the ass, she may go get her man bag.
Speaker 3 (49:29):
Stupid.
Speaker 1 (49:30):
Yeah, if you let anything like his role in Divorce
in the Black Test, stay.
Speaker 3 (49:34):
Where you at, Where you at? He probably did good
on that role because of that.
Speaker 1 (49:38):
Damn. Just all right, all right, all right right. Jonathan
Major's fans criticized Marble, so Jonathan Major's supports their argument
that is not fair that Jonathan Major's will be replaced
by Robert Downey Jr. In the continued Avengers series because
Robert Downey Jr. Has his own criminal history. That's what
he was bringing it up. As you know. Jonathan Majors
(49:59):
was released from his deal with Marvel after being accused
of reckless assault and harassment following a physical dispute involving
his then girlfriend Grace Jabari during an argument back in
March of last year. They let him go home before
he was even convicted. When it was revealed that Robert
Downey Jr. Would return to Marvel series as the New Villains,
some of his fans were confused. One fan said Robert
(50:22):
Downey Jr. Has an arrest record comparable to most career criminals,
so him being the replacement for Jonathan Majors only emphasizes
the scrutiny placed on black people to be perfect. Robert
Downey Jr. Reportedly had numerous arrests from ninety six to
two thousand and one on drug and possession charges. He
did spend time in rehab and prison both. Some fans
(50:44):
defended Robert Downey Jr. By claiming that his career did
take a hit, and it really really did during that
time when he was having some legal trouble, saying that
people believed he would never work again. And fans also
claimed that Robert Downey Jr. Was even surprised when he
was given the rule for Iron Man because of his
past and all of that type of stuff.
Speaker 3 (51:05):
So hmm.
Speaker 1 (51:08):
What I think, Well, you're gonna have no commis because
you're not even a Marveler. But I what, I don't know.
I I don't like the fact that Jonathan Major is okay,
that that that he was dropped from Marvel before a
full investigation for it's definitely whack. And then I think
it's even more whack that they didn't still recast after
(51:30):
he wasn't convicted after everything, you know what I'm saying,
like he wasn't recasted. However, I don't I wouldn't be.
Speaker 3 (51:38):
I'm not upset with Robert Downey Junior at all or
their choice to make him the new make him doom.
Speaker 1 (51:48):
I don't know. I'm kind of torn because I yeah,
and I totally get how Jonathan would feel, like yo, what.
Speaker 3 (51:54):
But how not not that you know one was a
domestic case, right yeah, way said he alleged it. I mean,
he said he didn't do it, and I believe Jonathan Majors,
But Robert Downey Jr. Was you know, he was found
with heroin, cocaine, a crack, he had a gun in
his car and all that other stuff. So it's totally
two different charges it So you know, you could say,
(52:17):
you know, he was forgiven for it. But you know,
when it's domestics, it's looked a totally different. So you
can't compare the to it. You can't compare drug use
and the drug addiction, you know, compared to an abuser. Exactly.
Speaker 1 (52:29):
Yeah, because I mean you're abusing yourself, you're craig age,
You're a craggy. That's on you, you know what I mean. Correct,
But yeah, you're bringing harm to someone else physically, mentally, whatever. Yeah,
it's definitely gonna be looked at differently. Okay, last story,
Tiffany Hatis receives back lash. So she goes to Zimbabwe,
right and she shares a video on TikTok of her
(52:50):
just plainly in a grocery store. I think she sounds
more excited than surprised. But this here's the audio that
she she was visiting a grocery store in Zimbabwe.
Speaker 3 (53:00):
I'm alire in Zimbabwe in Adahari, and look at the
grocery store.
Speaker 1 (53:08):
They got a grocer restore.
Speaker 8 (53:11):
It's beautiful.
Speaker 1 (53:12):
Look at this grocery store, it's huge.
Speaker 15 (53:15):
It's absolutely humonga in Africa, baby year they leave it.
Speaker 1 (53:23):
It don't smell bad and the meat department.
Speaker 10 (53:27):
They got a whole wile of alcohol.
Speaker 3 (53:29):
They got a frozen section. Now, I don't know why
people are mad, right, because I travel a lot, and
I frequent South Africa. I frequent different places in different countries,
and when I go to these different countries, I do
the same thing because you don't know what to expect
when you go to these countries. Don't of course everybody
every country has supermarkets. Of course every country has a
(53:53):
Jiffy Little and McDonald's and things like that. But when
you're there, it's just shocking. You just want a video tape.
And I do it all all the time. I'd have
been to South Africa and Africa so many times doing shows,
and every time I go, it's like, look, guys, this
is McDonald's. I don't know why I do it, Like
I don't expect to see McDonald's everywhere, but we all
do it. And when you go on vacation and you're
(54:13):
a taurist, you do the same thing. So people that's
jumping on her ass likely her alone. We all do
the same thing.
Speaker 1 (54:20):
I know, I can't stand it, but it was like
one you just said Americans need to stop disrespecting Africa
for real, So she expected Zimbabwe not to have a
grocery store and to even say it doesn't smell. Now,
she did see that, but I don't think that she
was saying, Oh and it don't even stink in here,
like I thought it was gonna stink. I'm just like
(54:41):
I'm thinking I took her, you know, her cadence and
all of that, like as excitement, not for surprised, like
because ever, we know one thing we do know is
everybody got to eat in the world. So yeah, why
wouldn't it be grocery stores everywhere, no matter how they look,
how big or small whatever, Like why is that why
she and all the scrutiny for you other people was
(55:03):
coming to our defense like yo, y'all, just y'all blow
up everything, you know what I mean. Yeah, it was
even a lot of Africans was like, yeah, to think
that Americans still think that we that we don't have
stuff and all of that like we're talking about, I.
Speaker 3 (55:18):
Don't think it's that. I mean, even when I go
to Baltimore, I see'd be like, oh my gosh, it's
a super marking in Baltimore. Oh my, it's clean, Oh
my god, Like I do that.
Speaker 17 (55:25):
All the time.
Speaker 1 (55:26):
Excuse me right down the street. Don't play with me.
Don't play with me ever. Sorry, sorry, that's why some
Baltimore people gonna block your head.
Speaker 3 (55:40):
Yes, all right, but that is just with the mess,
all right. Charlomagne is out. If you want to give
somebody donkey of the day, eight hundred five eight five

Speaker 12 (57:17):
He was supposed to be following this court order. So
she dropped her daughter off this weekend at her grandmother's house,
and all of a sudden, he touched my girl and
told my girl that he's demanding her to pick her
her daughter up from his house, knowing that he's supposed
(57:40):
to pick up from the same destination that he dropped off.
Speaker 10 (57:43):
So we're supposed to pick.
Speaker 12 (57:44):
Up from the same destination that we dropped off.
Speaker 2 (57:47):
At where he picked up from.
Speaker 3 (57:49):

Speaker 12 (57:51):
Excuse me?
Speaker 3 (57:52):
Can you fight?
Speaker 10 (57:53):
Absolutely?
Speaker 3 (57:54):
Okay? Cool, because when once once you start going at
your baby mom's ex friend's baby, you might have to
knuckle up later on.

Speaker 11 (58:52):

Speaker 3 (59:14):

Speaker 1 (59:17):
Okay now, because you know some people that we got
agents playing for US, all types to be playing US.
Speaker 3 (59:22):
Right, Okay, cool, you're right, all right, Yeah, I'm reading
the story now. He's twenty nine years old. He was
in prison for four years on an attack on a
twelve year old British girl. He just served twelve months
a sentence and has been allowed to represent Netherlands at
the Paris Olympus despite his conviction. And like the lady

Yes, And that's why I feel guilty. I'm torn because
I believe, I mean, I sympathize with people that felt like, nah,
she shouldn't have been in there, but my son was
in there and we was cracking up, rolling Halving the
time of our lives.
Speaker 3 (01:00:22):

all types of vulgarity in the movie. I mean, Ryan
Reynolds is Deadpool is like one of the most wittiest
like thoughts ever, Like, I love I love it. My
son actually put me on to dead Pool, which is
crazy because that is the only Marvel character that's not

Speaker 11 (01:01:28):
Now.
Speaker 3 (01:01:28):
Yesterday people were mad at Kanye for taking his daughter
to see Deadpool. His daughter's eleven years old. It's a
rated all movie, and they said it's a lot of
I guess a sexual I don't want to say acts,
but they talk a lot about second it, Yeah, sexual jokes.
Speaker 1 (01:01:44):
And things like that, a lot of vulgarity, a whole
bunch of stuff in there.
Speaker 3 (01:01:48):
So we're asking, what are your thoughts on that. Now,
you took your son, who was what eleven, he's twelve
twelve to go see it, so what are your thoughts
on that.
Speaker 1 (01:01:55):
Man, I'm still towing on it because like when you
ain't on the same On one hand, I understand no
you should now, knowing what I know about you, you
would never let your kids sit in that unless it
was your two oldest kids, Logan and Madison, Like who
are twenty two and nineteen?
Speaker 2 (01:02:12):
Right?
Speaker 3 (01:02:12):
Twenty two and twenty twenty two and twenty yeah you,
but you would never take your ten year old to
go see that.
Speaker 1 (01:02:20):
But this is what I'm saying. Ashton put me on
with Deadpool like I didn't know, and like I said,
Deadpool was the only character superhero who is not PG
thirteen y'all, Like, is is rated? Are all of his
movies before that? Like the writers go crazy? Like and
(01:02:40):
another thing y'all need to know about my child though, yo,
Ashton's favorite shows are Power and The Wire. Yeah twelve,
like when you yet at twelve, y'o. But then the
kids out of him. When we came out of Deadpool,
he was like, dang, I ain't get to go see
In and Out part two? Like that's like a Disney
Pixar bro Right's you know, so he s's his range,
(01:03:00):
he's well rounded. But while I understand that kids shouldn't
be in that movie mine. I mean, I didn't have
a problem with mine going. He was the only kid
in the movies here. I just didn't have I didn't.
I don't have a problem with ash going to see
that for see.
Speaker 3 (01:03:15):
I Actually it depends, right, So if my son is
into action figures, he's into Marvel and into those action figures,
Spider Man, Batman's and those type of movies, I don't
have a problem because I'm with him, and I could
kind of explain some of those things, because I can't
sit there and say my son doesn't because they play
video games all day long, and those video games be
(01:03:36):
just as bad as some of these movies because they're
gaming with people across the country, you know what I mean,
And they play these tournaments and sometimes, like you know,
I go in my room and I watch my son play,
and my son is ten years old and he's going
against grown men, grown that.
Speaker 10 (01:03:53):
Now.
Speaker 3 (01:03:53):
He's not cursing back, but I can hear it through
the microphone, you know what I mean. He knows not
to say those words, and I hope he doesn't, but
I'm I'm one thousand percent sure. When Dad's stot home.
He's probably saying it back because I did the same
thing as a kid. Right, You don't curse, you get
your parent, but when your parents take that, you might
have a potty mouthful two. But it's just as matter
as you know, kids know, uh, they respect for their parents.
They know that they're not allowed to say those words.
(01:04:14):
They can't use those words. But you know what I mean,
movies like that when they're with the parents. It is
my kids, my decision. I should be able to stene down.
Speaker 10 (01:04:21):
It is what it is.
Speaker 1 (01:04:22):
That's how I feel. And then even with like TikTok
and social media and everything like that, all the streaming
and everything, think about what our kids already has have
access to anyway, Now you get what I'm saying. So
I would feel I mean, I just I don't know.
I felt comfortable with him taking me to go see Deadpool.
My son took me to go see it and.
Speaker 3 (01:04:38):
It was great. Right, let's go to the phone lines.
We have Lakia on the line, la Kid, good morning, Hey.
Speaker 1 (01:04:44):
Hey, hey, just hilarious.
Speaker 15 (01:04:49):
Oh my god, I was not to get through.
Speaker 3 (01:04:53):
But what's your thoughts, Lakia.
Speaker 15 (01:04:55):
My thoughts on hits watching late It on them? I
don't think it should be done. Like, kids are exposed
to enough already, they feel enough on their TV screens
like in real life, and some kids people living at
rough part, So I don't feel like they should be
exposed at least by their parents, at least from the
(01:05:18):
adults that I was possible for raising them. I just
don't feel like it should be done.
Speaker 3 (01:05:23):
Yeah, I mean, I understand what you're saying, but you know,
some of these movies, these kids are like you know,
Marvel fans and their action figure fans, so they want
to see it, and you know, like and like just said,
a lot of they're exposed to a lot of it online.
It's just what you teach them and make sure they're
mature enough. Like the other day, we were out by
the Grill and I had a title playlist on and
then Kanya came on All your ladies pop you up?
(01:05:45):
Yeah like this and it was a dirty version yo.
The kids just I couldn't run to the remote control fast.
I couldn't get my phone ready fast enough to get
it off, like verse went through, and my kids looking
at me and I'm trying to dive to get it off.
My wife's like tell.
Speaker 15 (01:06:05):
It is so sad. I just feel like the state
of the world is just different than what we grew
up in because like, I'm in my thirties, so I'm
a nineties baby. I just feel like, I mean, like
we were supposed to close our eyes during the Kischen sing,
you know what I mean. Like, I just feel like
this is a different time, so we do have to
because I'm teaching myself that as a mother, to be
(01:06:28):
more understanding of the times that we are inch. So
you know, you don't want to shelter them too much
because I was sheltered and that don't really do good.
Like that actually does more damag being sheltered than allowing
your child to find things out on their own. DJA
do me a favorite, all please please please. I am
(01:06:50):
a musician. I am a music artist, and I have
took right now that's out and available the stream. I
made a pop album called pim t I m B.
It's working as My Birthright, and I want you guys
to listen to it because I think you guys really
love it.
Speaker 3 (01:07:08):
You say, is my Birthright? That's the name of the song,
that's the name.
Speaker 19 (01:07:11):
Of the album.
Speaker 15 (01:07:12):
It's like a pop album and.
Speaker 3 (01:07:16):
Reading a movie. But the name of your album is
Twirking is my birth right? You got some nerve, But is.
Speaker 10 (01:07:22):
They do it?
Speaker 15 (01:07:22):
You know, Africa Dove weren't if we was raised you know,
and I reason or whatever, we wouldn't even be worried
about all this rating.
Speaker 3 (01:07:31):
They can look and people can streaming. Now it's on
all streaming platforms, right, yes, all.
Speaker 15 (01:07:35):
STOs out one working. Is my birthright? Yeah, so I
just start to try a whole bunch of stuff. I
just it's a whole bunch of pop on there.
Speaker 3 (01:07:44):
Okay, Wow, you look at our Twerking is my birthright?
They have to hang up repeating it. I had to
hang up, See said, hang up with people. What you're
going too far? I got it. Twirking is my birthright? Hello?
Speaker 5 (01:07:55):
Is this.
Speaker 15 (01:07:57):
It's Nicole?
Speaker 3 (01:07:59):
Nicole? What do you think about parents taking their kids
to see rated all movies?
Speaker 17 (01:08:02):
So, first of all, I just want to say, I'm
would Jess if you will have an if you vibing
with your kids in the movie. Why is it not
of what I'm taking my kids to go see?
Speaker 3 (01:08:11):
Right?
Speaker 17 (01:08:11):
Yeah, I don't understand that. So, I mean my kid
is twenty four. If I don't have to worry about that.
But nevertheless, when she was younger, we can do whatever
you want to do as long as I'm paying for you. Like,
if you're not helping me take care of my kid,
you have no saying what I have to do or
what I am doing with my kids. Big up to
Kanye West. Take your daughter to do whatever she want
to do.
Speaker 3 (01:08:30):
I'm sorry, whatever she want to do, Okay, okay, thank
you Jesus.
Speaker 1 (01:08:36):
And it also depends on the maturity level too, like
Amston is super mature, right, Like, so I don't know
he can handle that. Like he was in there top
about pause and everything and I was like, oh, stop,
don't be so loud.
Speaker 3 (01:08:48):
Eight hundred five eighty five, one oh five one. Yesterday
people were talking about Kanye West because he brought his
daughter to see Deadpool. They said, his daughter's eleven years old.
What are your thoughts taking your kids to see a
ratedar movie. Let's discuss this. The breakfas Slub God Morning everybody.
It's DJ NV Jess Hilarious, Charlamagne the God we are
the Breakfast Club. Charlamagne is out today now. If you're
just joining us with asking what is your thoughts about
(01:09:10):
taking your kids to see a rated all movie. Yesterday,
people were upset at Kanye West because he took his
daughter eleven years old to go see it. I don't
have a problem with it. I mean, he knows the
mature the maturity level of his child, and he's watching
the movie with his child. So if there's questions or
things that need to be explained, or you want to
cover your kids airs at certain parts, you can. I
don't have a problem with it. Just just took us
(01:09:30):
son to see Deadpool.
Speaker 1 (01:09:33):
He took me because he paid.
Speaker 3 (01:09:34):
Oh he paid.
Speaker 1 (01:09:35):
No, Yeah, that's just like favorite that's funny, his favorite characters. Yeah, so,
and I had fun in it. I think I think
what it is so much that people are in the
uproar about is not really the cursing. It's the homosexual
inn windows and like everything, because it's it's anything that
(01:09:55):
you can think of. They talk about.
Speaker 3 (01:09:56):
But this is the thing, right, they have a problem
with that. But then we just seen a whole scene
on the Olympics with the guys testicles.
Speaker 1 (01:10:03):
Out, absolutely, and that's a family sport.
Speaker 3 (01:10:06):
Event, and that's a family sport a bit. So you
want to watch the Olympics, you can see testicles. But
at Deadpool you got a problem with it.
Speaker 1 (01:10:12):
You draw the line at Deadpool like, there's no way.
Speaker 3 (01:10:15):
That sounds crazy. Let's go through the phone line. Hello,
who's this Xavier? Good morning? What's your thoughts?
Speaker 15 (01:10:21):
Brouh?
Speaker 14 (01:10:23):
My thoughts is yeah, I took my kid to see
it Saturday. We had fun.
Speaker 10 (01:10:27):
It was cool.
Speaker 3 (01:10:27):
How was your kid twelve? Twelve?
Speaker 14 (01:10:30):
Okay, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, he watched We watched anime.
They showed that stuff on anime. You play video games,
shooting games, they do that on that.
Speaker 3 (01:10:38):
So that's like if you ever listening with your son
plays against in the video games, because they'd be doing
these tournaments. They'd be grown men, and I'm grown men.
Be cursing, they be screaming, they be yelling, all types
of stuff.
Speaker 18 (01:10:49):
Yeah, yeah, it is like that.
Speaker 14 (01:10:51):
I mean when I played with him, I don't I
don't play first, so I'm talking mad stuff and we're
going at it and then we've seen a movie. He
was like a little bit with the squirt gun and
we started cracking out. So you already knows it is.
Speaker 3 (01:11:04):
Okay, thank you brother. Hello, who's this? What's your name?
Iban Itbban? How you spoke itban I be in okay,
all right, okay, all right, I'll take that. All right,
So what's your thoughts.
Speaker 14 (01:11:20):
I personally don't have a problem with it.
Speaker 10 (01:11:22):
Uh, My son and I went when he was eleven
to the First Day Wool and all the.
Speaker 2 (01:11:25):
Stuff they put on TV nowadays, Like, what's wrong with that?
It's much worse stuff on television.
Speaker 1 (01:11:31):
Absolutely, it is, sir with you?
Speaker 3 (01:11:33):
Yeah, I agree with you.
Speaker 2 (01:11:34):
Yeah, And I think boys in the Hood when I
was eleven, so I turned out.
Speaker 3 (01:11:37):
Okay, But that's the thing. I see boys of the
hood when I was yo. My pops took me and
I remember seeing the shooting and the blood and all that,
and I turned out all right. I think I did anyway.
Speaker 10 (01:11:48):
Yeah, but I don't see a problem with it. You
know who your kids are.
Speaker 3 (01:11:50):
That's right exactly. Now, what's the more of the story, Jess,
you know who your kids are. I love how he
we just ended that he has I love.
Speaker 1 (01:11:59):
I mean, you know who your kids are. That that
goes back to me saying the maturity level of my
son is different. Like I said, his favorite shows are Power,
All American, the Wire, like he you know, and then
he still has a kid's side where he watches a
smart guy since the sister all the shows that that
we grew up on full House like he he likes
stuff like that. You know, he's a well rounded kid.
(01:12:20):
I don't I don't see a problem with it, but
I do understand why people are in and up more.
But do what you want with your kids. That's why
people can do what they want with theater.
Speaker 3 (01:12:28):
Okay, all right, well we got just with the mess
coming up. What we're talking about.
Speaker 1 (01:12:32):
Oh my lord, so little Diva thinks that Sexy Rigg
should be on tour with JT.
Speaker 3 (01:12:38):
Okay, all right, well we'll get into that next. Just
with the message the breakfast slog, good morning, darning everybody
in Steen j n V. Jess Celia Charlamagne, the guy
we are the Breakfast Club. Let's get to Jess with
the mess. The news is real, wether it's Hilarius, Jessica,
Robin Moore, just don't do no lines, don't do.
Speaker 5 (01:12:56):
Talk the.
Speaker 3 (01:12:59):
Talk them world why jes worldwide on the Breakfast Club.
She's the coaches. She was able to get y'all to
see something and understand something.
Speaker 1 (01:13:10):
That nobody could get you to see.
Speaker 3 (01:13:11):
This time to set it off.
Speaker 1 (01:13:14):
All right, So I'm going to end on a little
DVAUL because that's a little bit lighter. I want to
start off by saying three out of five arrested for
Fulio's murder, so Tampa police they they believe that they're
on the right track to solve and rapper Julio Fulio's murder.
Three people were arrested in connection with the deadly shooting.
Their names are Isaiah Chance who's twenty one, Alicia Andrews
(01:13:37):
who's twenty one, Sean Gathwright, who's eighteen. The cops all
said they also said they're getting closer to arresting two
more people. They're still looking for Daveon and Rishard Murphy.
Speaker 3 (01:13:46):
They picked up the fourth to one like an hour ago. Okay, okay,
they're just arrested him about an hour ago.
Speaker 1 (01:13:52):
Thank you so much. You are one of my sources now,
thank you. Tampa Police Chief Lee Burkhar says that they're
investigation revealed that the suspect were members of a rival
gang that allegedly had ties with Fulio's op who was young,
and Ace, who was also a rapper. Yesterday, Tampa Peede
held a press conference announcing the arrest and first degree
(01:14:12):
murder charges. The police also say released footage from the
murder scene, which shows multiple people running through a Holiday
Inn parking lot and hidding in the bushes to fire
shots at the car. Julia fully was Fulio was in
as a reminder, Fulio was kicked out of his airbnb
while celebrating his twenty sixth birthday. He went over the capacity,
like the occupancy limit for the airbnb, and he moved
(01:14:34):
the party to a room at the Holiday Inn, and
the police believed that he was being followed the entire night.
Then yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, so wow.
Speaker 3 (01:14:44):
It's so crazy, so sad, so sad. And you know,
for anybody out there, and you kids listening, or anybody
out there thinking about doing stupid stuff, just remember there's
cameras everywhere, Like, there is cameras everywhere. They caught you
guys so fast, so quick, they follow with your car goals.
This cameras everywhere. So so before you're gonna do something stupid,
(01:15:04):
don't do it. But just also know that you're probably
gonna get caught.
Speaker 1 (01:15:07):
Think about it. Yeah, it's like yeah, and then there's
young men and women like you know, wow, So that's
that I'm also rest in peace to actress Erica Ash.
She died at forty six. Erica Ash was known for
her role in the Stars Show Survivors, Remorse be Ets,
Real Husbands of Hollywood, Scary Movie Five, Netflix Is We
(01:15:30):
Have a Ghost, in the sketch comedy shows mad TV.
That's where I knew her from firstly and the Big
Case Sketch show she was on. Her family confirmed that
she died after a battle with cancer.
Speaker 9 (01:15:39):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (01:15:41):
Yeah, No, and forty six is young. It's just so young. Yeah,
and a statement her family said after a long, courageous
battle with cancer, she transitioned peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones.
Erica was an amazing woman and talented and entertainer who
touched countless live with her sharp wit, humor and genuine's.
(01:16:03):
That's for life, her memory will it will live eternally
in our hearts. Send comedian Lonnie Love and other comedians
like Mike Epps. They gave their condolences online and they
posted about her being their friend and things like that.
So just just make sure you're taking care of yourself
y'all and sending healing and sending healing energy to our family.
Speaker 3 (01:16:22):
Yeah, and I just want to tell people not to
say that this has any connection, but I've been hearing
a lot of people been passing recently, especially in their
forties and fifties, and I would just tell people, you
have to go to the doctor. Some of the things
that I know that people are passing from if they
would have been if it would have got caught or
seen earlier, it could have been prevented, it could have
been helped, it could have been you know anything. So
(01:16:45):
please go to the doctor early. I know we live
in a community where we all going to the doctor.
I'm good, I'm good. Now, I'm just going to do
you ask for know, we have to go to the doctor.
We have to get checked. We got to make sure
that we can live to see our kids, our grandkids
and all that other things. So please get you as
to the doctor.
Speaker 1 (01:17:01):
Yeah. Yeah. And lastly, Lord Deval has a suggestion for
JT's that JT need to be on that tour with
Sexy Red. JT's City Cinderelator is set to start in
Kansas City August twentieth. The tour ends in LA at
the end of September, so it's a quick tour. Sexy Red,
(01:17:21):
Sexy Red for President tour starts August twenty second in
Seattle and her tour ends in October. Sexyes tour is
advertised to have a special surprise guest. Hancho Blakeiana and
Low Shimmy are also on tour with Sexy Red, But
some fans question why Duval thinks they should split a
bag to go on tour together when they're already doing
(01:17:42):
shows on their own.
Speaker 3 (01:17:44):
I think that'll be dope, though, I mean, if they cool.
If they I don't know if they cool, because yeah,
everybody's beefing now, but if they cool, why not. I
mean the fact that they can both go on tour,
you get a good show, you get a dope woman's
empowerment show. I think that'd be dope. The fact that
they both get on the tour, they could both make money,
split the bag, make more more, go on, do bigger venues,
do alonger toward date. I don't see a problem with that.
Speaker 1 (01:18:05):
Yep, yep. Like a collab, Yeah, collabor would be dope.
And then they on the tour around the same time,
So that's probably why he said it as well.
Speaker 10 (01:18:10):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (01:18:10):
And he liked both of them, so like he listens
he loves Sexy River.
Speaker 3 (01:18:14):
He listened to both of their music, so he probably
would like that collaboration as well, just as a fan.
Speaker 1 (01:18:19):
It would be dope. Yeah, so that's adjusted with the
mess right now. Listen, let me get into this, broker,
because we got a couple more minutes.
Speaker 11 (01:18:26):
Yo.
Speaker 1 (01:18:26):
So I know Front page News, we always talked. We
already talked about like the Paris Olympics or whatever. TEK
twenty four y'all. I was watching the women's boxing, you know,
China and Vietnam. They went back and forth. Hill, Yep,
let me tell you something. Watching two that's that's that's
both Asian, right, yeah, Vietnam and China. Yo, watching two
(01:18:49):
Asian bitches box each other. Why one of the funniest
things ever.
Speaker 16 (01:18:55):
Yo.
Speaker 1 (01:18:55):
I'm like, yo, Yo, they not even blocking or nothing like,
they just straight.
Speaker 3 (01:19:00):
I'm like, yo, there was no blocking, like, there was
no stand was just bro I swear.
Speaker 1 (01:19:06):
I'm like, yo, why why we not?
Speaker 11 (01:19:08):
Like?
Speaker 1 (01:19:08):
Why know why they should train in the US and
then go back or they should be doing like karate
or something like ju jitsu like the things that they
do usually. I'm not trying to be stereotypical, but Yo,
every time in the around said they didn't go.
Speaker 3 (01:19:22):
They was like, yo, I wish I could see face
right there.
Speaker 1 (01:19:28):
I was like, yo, the only thing that's missing is
they blunt right now you I could watch that all
day like crazy. But the women's women's indoor volleyball, okay.
I wanted to give a shout out to Annie drews Uh.
She had some power shots. They did the indoor and
then I watched outdoor too. The indoor was crazy. Catherine
Plumber hardest hit in the world, like and I and
(01:19:51):
I don't even know other people in the world that
that that hit like that, But these women are six
six and six seven and man going crazy. She and
timy uh Cappin from She's for us a yo. They
were so scared every time they knew that she would hit.
China was not messing with her. But then they had another.
They had another girl. Her name was uh Ye Wong
(01:20:12):
Ling and she was big too. She looked like she
was like six eight.
Speaker 3 (01:20:18):
The fact that she knows these people's names and that
you're into it is crazy to me. But I'm gonna
watch it today. That women's women's gymnastics is today the
finals in gas.
Speaker 1 (01:20:26):
Oh yeah, I'm definitely, I'm definitely. Uh, I'm watching that.
Speaker 3 (01:20:30):
But we so we did.
Speaker 1 (01:20:31):
We won the women's outdoor volleyball but trying to beat us.
Uh the three out of five and the women's indoor one. Yo,
but you gotta watch it to the box and YO,
not gonna watch it now.
Speaker 3 (01:20:43):
I'm gonna watch it now that they just texted me.
Listening on. iHeart Radio is the exclusive audio home of
NBC's coverage of the twenty twenty four Paris Olympics. Yeah,
it's cool to listen, but I want to see two.
Speaker 1 (01:20:52):
So yeah, you gotta see it.
Speaker 3 (01:20:53):
You gotta see it all right now the People's choice
to mix up. Next, it's the Breakfast Club. Go Morning Morning, everybody.
It's DJ Envy, Jess Hilarious, Charlamagne, the guy we are
the Breakfast Club. Charlemagne is out today and I gotta
remind you guys, you know I'm gonna be in Shreveport
with fifty cent August tenth and eleven. If he's doing
his humor in comedy This humor in Comedy Week, and
I think he's called what is it called humor in
(01:21:15):
Harmony Week, and that's what he calls it. Well, he's
bringing everybody to the city. He's opening up his g
Unit studio, so he's trying to get the word out
there that Shreveport is the next spot. So he's doing
comedy show. I know he has Andrews Sholt, he has
that he has. I'm trying to think of this, the
people he has, Kat Williams, a bunch of comedians out there.
(01:21:36):
And then he's doing a concert where he's performing, The
Baby's performing, Keeps Sweats performing, just to name a few.
