I think?

Speaker 5 (00:24):
So?

Speaker 3 (00:24):
What did I do this weekend? Got cool name?

Speaker 2 (00:28):
President you know, reached out and said you had low
I Q and took a shot at you this.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
Weekendn't even that means the weekend was interested.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
It was pretty like another day at the office.

Speaker 6 (00:41):
To me.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
Hey, yeah, pretty interesting. We'll talk about it. We got
all morning.

Speaker 7 (00:45):
That's right.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
What would you do this weekend?

Speaker 2 (00:47):
I took the kids to Great Wolfladge. Great Wolf Fladge
is an indoor water park. Went to the one in
Connecticut which has been open about six months now. And okay,
they got them all over the country and kids just
got a chance to enjoy it, and they took some
friends with him. It's a long ass drive.

Speaker 7 (01:00):
Though, But.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
What that's close? No, it's three hours and twenty minutes.
Anybody had no time?

Speaker 2 (01:06):
No, I wish, but you know, when I looked at
the navigation, it said two hours, about an hour forty five.
But I went during like eleven o'clock traffic. Oh my gosh,
she took forever.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
So I'm beat. I'm tired. Hour and a half two
hours the most I could do on the drive. Now, Man,
I'm old. I got the old niece. Man, the kids.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
The kids enjoy themselves, That's the most important thing. So
salute everybody I've seen. Now at Great Wolf Launch, I.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
Saw Summer Slam. Now, Summer Slam is something I wish
I would have did this week. I wish I had
went too, too. I really wish i'd have went to
Summer Slam on Saturday. I was I had stuff to
do Saturday, you know, running around the city. But I
really wish I had went to Summer Slam on Saturday.
That Saturday Sunday though, that one Sunday too. It was
on Sunday too.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
It was two nights. I didn't know that, Yes, two nights.
Saturday is Sunday. Is that much slamming? Going on.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Yes, yes, I know, Saturday is Sunday. You know, I'm
not a big wrestling fan anymore. My kids don't watch
wrestling like that, so it's hard to understand the characters
and who like they're not excited.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
But it looked crazy. It was amazing.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
And then, like I grew up on wrestling, there's a
lot of wrestlers that I still know. Like one of
them is gonna be here this morning, Jacob far too,
Jacob I two is gonna be joining us this morning here.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
Did you win? Oh? He lost?

Speaker 7 (02:09):
He lost?

Speaker 4 (02:09):
He lost to his well, he actually came on Friday
and we taped it Friday. We're playing it back, correct.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Yes, I think we're gonna take those parts out where
he talks about fighting his cousin.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
Yeah, so we'll get into all that in a little bit.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
And of course front page dudes, we got a lot
to talk with Charlemagne this morning is well, why why not?

Speaker 8 (02:25):
All right?

Speaker 3 (02:25):
Why not? Sure?

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Okay, Who's Who's dog today? Did you figure it out yet?

Speaker 3 (02:31):
I haven't. Actually, I just sat down.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
I just got in here on Monday. Man, give me
a minute. Damn, we had a whole weekend, you.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Know, just you sit down. You just do what he said.
Today's Barack Obama's birthday.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
All right, happy boy day?

Speaker 7 (02:45):
All right?

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Okay, all right, he yes, morning, good morning, Jess.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Yes, let's get the show crack in front page dues.
Let's go morning.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Everybody is dj MV Jess hilarious, charlamage the guy.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
We are the breakfast club.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Let's get in some front page news.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
What's up Morgan?

Speaker 1 (03:02):
Good morning?

Speaker 8 (03:03):
Good morning. How are we filling on a Monday?

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Morgan, good morning?

Speaker 8 (03:08):
All right, love to hear that. I'm gonna know everybody
want to talk about Charlemagne, but I'm not gonna get
too much into that just yet.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
Like you did a lot.

Speaker 8 (03:15):
He was in the headlines, my guy. But let's talk
about these Texas Dems. Okay. So, Texas House Democrats have
left the state in a bid to stop Republicans from
advancing House maps that would give the GOP five more
US House seats and opportunities ahead of twenty twenty six now.
The move would deny Republicans the minimum number of lawmakers
needed present in order to be able to conduct legislation,

(03:38):
also known as a quorum now. The move follows a
marathon public hearing on the plan in the state capitol
on Friday, which came less than a week after state
Republican legislators proposed new maps now. The new map, which
is aimed at adding five new Republican districts next year,
passed on a twelve to six party line vote on Saturday.
Now that would shift the States delegation from a twenty

(04:01):
five thirteen GOP majority to thirty to eight. Now. Democratic
lawmakers argue the plan violates the Voting Rights Act by
diluting black and Hispanic voting power. House Minority leader Hakim
Jeffries says fellow Democrats are closely watching the GOP led
redistricting effort in Texas and adds that they are backing
state lawmakers who oppose it. Let's take a listen to

(04:23):
his comments.

Speaker 9 (04:25):
We're going to do everything possible to support the Texas
legislators as they consider the best ways to push back.
It's an all hands on deck moment and all options
should be on the table to protect the people of Texas.

Speaker 4 (04:42):
So basically, they fixed in the fight, and Hakim Jeffries
is the only thing he can think to say is
that we're just closely watching the situation.

Speaker 8 (04:49):
Well, yeah, but you know. He also let me just
disclaim and I probably should have said this prior to
the audio playing, is that he did say these comments
prior to the Democrats leaving the state. So them leaving
the state does not come without risk, though they could
face or would face a five hundred dollars daily fine
and the threat of arrest. Now, Texas State Attorney General

(05:10):
Ken Paxton also made these comments prior to them leaving,
but he suggested last week that lawmakers be locked up
in the state capital for the rest of a special session,
forcing them to sleep and eat in their offices, in
order to get the maps passed.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
What does that mean the state? I don't What does
that mean?

Speaker 7 (05:24):
I don't.

Speaker 8 (05:25):
So basically, they're in order, okay, So you have you
need a certain amount of Democrats in order to have
a quorum, which means, you know, okay, we have a
certain amount of people who are here in our Congress
or you know, the state legislature to be able to
pass a law or pass a bill or move forward
with a vote. And they don't have them because they
have left the state. So some of them have traveled

(05:46):
to Chicago, and then some of them have traveled to
New York and so they don't have a korum, so
thus a vote cannot happen. So the Black information that works,
of course, we're taking how it begins. The Black Information Network,
of course, is of also watching this closely because it's

(06:09):
not just about politics, but it's about whether black communities
can elect leaders who reflect their voice in federal decision making.
So basically, Texas Democrats are trying to protect black and
brown voters, making sure that they still have a voice.
Pretty much what that boils down to elsewhere Elsewhere. In

(06:29):
other news, federal officials are investigating the former Department of
Justice prosecutor who oversaw cases against President Trump. The US
Office of Special Council announced on Saturday it's investigating Jack
Smith for possibly violating a law that bars federal officials
from engaging in political party or attempting to influence elections. Now.
Smith prosecuted two cases against Trump, one centering around allegations

(06:52):
Trump tried to block former President Biden's twenty twenty election victory,
and another where Trump was accused of mishandling classified documents.
Now neither case went to trial, and Smith resigned from
the dj shortly before Trump's inauguration. This year. But yes,
so now he is under investigation for those cases that
he brought against Trump.

Speaker 4 (07:09):
Yeah, we knew Jacksmith was on the revenge list. I'm
just shocked they just waited till August to get.

Speaker 8 (07:13):
Around to Oh you read it this long? Oh my goodness.
You know they had to get to the black people first.
Never mind, and for you, this one's coming out of
South Carolina. Charlotmagne Representative Nancy Mace is widely expected to
announce her bid for governor of South Carolina today. The
congresswoman is expected to make oh okay, so all right, yes.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
It's on our website. She announce you announs like this.

Speaker 8 (07:32):
Morning at the Citadel, she's holding an official event regarding that.
And uphole released by South Carolina Policy Council last month
shows Mace receiving sixteen percent support from Republican identifying voters,
one point ahead of South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson.
So yeah, there you go, and she one of those
leaders that you'd like to see on the maybe on

(07:53):
the Republican side, come to the forefront.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
I think everyone could do whatever they want.

Speaker 4 (07:57):
And if Nancy wants to run for governor of South
Carolina sue to her. All right, the people of South
Carolina over the side. She's been here a couple of times.
Nancy been up here once month.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
Yeah, that's right.

Speaker 8 (08:09):
We mentioned her a few times because you know, she
got a little rowdy with Jasmine Crockett, you know. Yeah, yeah,
that's your front patriot.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
Me and Nancy went to high school together, that's right,
you said.

Speaker 8 (08:20):
And she went to the All Boy High School too
or something military military.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
That's right.

Speaker 4 (08:26):
She's the first woman to graduate from the city.

Speaker 8 (08:34):

With my brother Peach Peach Peace.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
Was going on show money. Get off your chest, brother.

Speaker 18 (13:35):
Hey, listen man, Steven A. Smith is out of pocket,
straight up. He came at Michelle Obama because she made
a comment on his show and how he connects himself
on TV. He shot back at her and then he
called President of a Rock Obama by his first name

(13:55):
they call president. This guy is the clown. People athletes
are losing respect for him more and more every day.
He's a hair dude. He's just a celebrity and used
to be a journalist and he needed to be called
out and also he needed to work. Every time that

(14:16):
mad dog takes his out of this guy's mouth, he
got something crazy to say.

Speaker 15 (14:22):
He kill white people.

Speaker 18 (14:24):
He don't come at them that way. If you notice
white players, white, anybody white, he's very respectful. He really
got a problem with him. When you black, it's all
hands off, and Michelle is a bridge too far. I
don't know if y'all saw, but Charlamagne, I just sent
you the curse. So you can watch it and have
your own comment. And if anybody ever deserved dunk the

(14:48):
other day is steven A no hairlines Smith.

Speaker 3 (14:52):
I'm doing Steve Smith show today at noon.

Speaker 18 (14:54):
Actually yeah, and when you do that, ask him about
his hot Oh man, listen fight s what I mean? Yes,
you said, I'm good, baby, I'm good.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
Okay to break it down and give us the full
detail and play the audio.

Speaker 3 (15:08):
Yeah, during the during her latest with Lauren bro I
haven't seen it, but highly doubts. I mean it's you.
You can't, I don't. I don't know Steven and Steve,
steven A. Smith is not a disrespectful person.

Speaker 18 (15:19):
I sent it to you.

Speaker 15 (15:20):
It's very disrespectful.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
I'm sure they're breaking it down on Thank you though,
get it off your chest. Eight hundred and five eighty five,
one oh five. When we got the latest with Lauren
coming up, and I'm sure Lauren will be breaking down
stephen A. Smith and what he said and what what
Michelle Obama said, Only you're gonna be.

Speaker 4 (15:37):
Sober this morning. I seen her all outside all day yesterday.
She was at Angie Martinez barbecue late, then she went
to party with Nilo. Because now I got her residency
here in New York City.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
Well, you know the truth, she's not here yet, but
let's there. She go and look hung on over. Hell,
well we have the latest we're talking about.

Speaker 8 (15:58):
I'm playing on talking about Diddy and Trump. Okay, how
are you doing today? Charlamagne, Bless Black and Holly Fay.
That's what they said.

Speaker 3 (16:04):
Oh she's so drunk right now, let me see you
walk straight.

Speaker 8 (16:09):
Oh my god, I'm not drunk. I'm just tired, y'all.
Went to bet and like midnight, I went to go
see Nil at the Ritz Carlton and Barbecue with I hear.

Speaker 3 (16:18):
All right, we'll be back as the breakfast logan by
the Breakfast Club.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
Warning everybody, it's DJ env just hilarious, Charlamage the guy.

Speaker 3 (16:28):
We are the Breakfast Club. Let's get to the latest
with Lauren. Lauren be coming straight fast. She gets somebody
that knows somebody detail.

Speaker 8 (16:37):
I'm a long girl that knows a little bit about everything.

Speaker 3 (16:40):
She'd be having the latest on the law.

Speaker 7 (16:44):
The latest with Lauren la Rosa.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
Sometimes you have fact, sometimes you have details. Sometimes you
have a little bit of everything.

Speaker 7 (16:50):
On the Breakfast Club, some ll.

Speaker 8 (16:53):
Cool drunk, No good morning, y'all, so, uh beef, I
didn't see coming. Michelle Obama stephen A.

Speaker 3 (17:00):
Smith. Yeah.

Speaker 8 (17:02):
So Michelle Obama was on her on her podcast with
the one that she does with her brother correct that
we've talked about it here, and she had Boween Yang
and Matt Rogers on, who co hosts a podcast together
all about like culture and pop culture. Right, so they
we're having a conversation about culture and conversations they have
on the podcast. And Michelle Obama made some comments about
ESPN that got Steven A. Smith upset. Let's listen to Michelle.

(17:23):
I listened to ESPN for an hour.

Speaker 19 (17:26):
It's like watching the Real Housewives of Atlanta. I mean,
you know, it's the same drama and they're yelling at
each other and they don't get along, you know.

Speaker 3 (17:35):
I mean stephen A.

Speaker 8 (17:36):
Smith, he's just like every other.

Speaker 7 (17:41):
Housewife amazing.

Speaker 19 (17:44):
So that's why I'm like, what's the difference. It's just,
you know, it's just sociological drama.

Speaker 4 (17:51):
Let the Ruggords show. Michelle Obama never said steven A.
Smith would make a good housewife. That was somebody else
on the pandem Now.

Speaker 3 (17:56):
She said, he's just like another talk yes.

Speaker 8 (17:59):
And be honest if you watched the conversation in full,
and this is the opening of the podcast. I don't
know how people took it this way, but she wasn't
being shady. She was She was saying that because their
podcast is doing really, really well.

Speaker 4 (18:12):
Drama Sell's reality shows, Drama Sells ESPN's talking head shows.

Speaker 8 (18:16):
That is all she was saying. And she was talking
about how people dragged her because she came out and
said that she loves reality TV and people act like
she's not supposed to. But how can she not because
you know, controversy knows things that she's saying.

Speaker 4 (18:28):
There's things that y'all like that that pushed drama and
controversial too one hundred percent.

Speaker 8 (18:33):
So then Stephen A. Smith got you know, on his
platform and responded to Michelle Obama. Let's say listen to
Steven A.

Speaker 20 (18:39):
Smith respectfully disagreed and still remained pretty salty about what
you said about us. And I feel even more adamant
about what your husband, Barack Obama said when he talked
to those men in Pittsburgh and implied that to not
vote for Kamala is because we're gauging in some sort

(19:00):
of misogyny. There are issues that matter that every American citizen,
and it sort of blackmail us emotionally into trying to
compel us to vote one way or another. It's part
of what won Trump the election because that side of
the isle was able to look at the left and say,
look at what they'll do to win, and y'all talking

(19:22):
about him like he's worse, and in a lot of
y'all eyes, he it's worse.

Speaker 3 (19:28):
I heard no disrespect from me to side. Yeah.

Speaker 8 (19:30):
I did think that, you know, for what she said
in the context of how she said it, I thought
his response was like it was was all this necessary?
But I think you know, he did what he does best.
He did exactly what she said. He sells what he
needs to say.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
Her reaction is a reaction, and he didn't say anything disrespectfully.
You said what was on his mind with his opinion.
I don't, to be honest, That's what I mean.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
He's probably been feeling that way for a while and
wanted to get off his Yeah.

Speaker 8 (19:55):
Because he had talked about when after Kamala Harris lost
here actually had talked about feeling like he was kind
of been boozooed by the fact that he thought he
had to support her because Kamala Harris is a black
woman and all things. But yeah, I just thought that
he took it too far. But again to Michelle Obama's point,
he's great at what he does.

Speaker 4 (20:10):
So people everybody just selling content. That's literally what it
is at the end of the day. Like you know,
Michelle Obama was speaking on her platform and that became content.
Stephen A. Smith is using that to speak on his
platform and that's content.

Speaker 8 (20:22):
Yeah, well, speaking of content. Uh. Donald Trump had a
conversation over the weekend about you, Charlotte Mee, but not
about you this time. We were talking about Diddy. So
he was asked explain that.

Speaker 3 (20:34):
One because that don't make no sense.

Speaker 8 (20:35):
He had a conversation about you, but we're not talking
about you right now yet. Please be careful this morning
because we just got here.

Speaker 3 (20:41):
My job, she put you in the whole did conversation.

Speaker 8 (20:44):
Don't make no sense.

Speaker 3 (20:45):
We understood your IQ was just low. Nobody drunk.

Speaker 8 (20:53):
I'm not, but madam, because your IQ is low?

Speaker 3 (20:58):
Okay.

Speaker 8 (20:58):
Well, Donald Trump was having a common say about whether
or not he would pardon Diddy. Let's say, Sean.

Speaker 3 (21:04):
Diddy Combs, right, would you consider pardoning him?

Speaker 21 (21:07):
Well, he was essentially, I guess sort of half innocent.
I don't know what they're still in jail or something.
But you know, I was very friendly with him. I
got along with him great, and it seemed like a
nice guy. I didn't know him well. But when I
ran for office, he was very hostile.

Speaker 7 (21:25):
He said things about him.

Speaker 21 (21:26):
Yeah, and it's hard, you know, like you were human beings.

Speaker 3 (21:32):
It's and we don't.

Speaker 21 (21:33):
Like to have things cloud our judgment, right, But when
you knew someone and you were fine, and then you
run for office, and he made some terrible statements. So
I don't know, it's it's more difficult, It makes it
more I'm being honest, it makes it more difficult to.

Speaker 3 (21:49):
Do, but more likely A no for Combs, I would say, Okay.

Speaker 8 (21:53):
I didn't know that could be so personal.

Speaker 3 (21:55):
That makes sense, Like what you mean, that's like.

Speaker 8 (21:59):
Yeah, but I thought that the whole part in anything
was supposed to be about like justice, iq I. I
thought that it was supposed to be like that. When
I listen to that's so unfair.

Speaker 2 (22:11):
I've seen all the people that he's pardoned before, and
you you think if somebody takes a shot at Trump,
of all people, he's gonna partum.

Speaker 8 (22:17):
What well, listen, did he.

Speaker 3 (22:19):
Take a shot at es Jess? If you present you
part them?

Speaker 4 (22:21):
No, it's clear if I do, I'm charging you way
more than I charge everybody else.

Speaker 14 (22:29):
Okay, right, well, uh, if you ring your mouth about me,
you know, and then we see how personal and how
sensitive Donald Trump is.

Speaker 3 (22:37):
Oh, we see that.

Speaker 14 (22:38):
So I was already expecting. I will, For one, I
never knew that did he said anything crazy about him?
But if I had known that, I definitely wouldn't be
expecting this man to part shouldn't be expecting that, Yeah,
I mean.

Speaker 8 (22:50):
His team has said that, you know, every time they
hear it's like it's something that they don't think is
out of reach, but they don't know what's gonna happen.
And I will say over the weekend though, his team,
they've been going back and forth from legal docs, and
his team shot back at the prosecutors who were saying
that did he't needs to remain in jail until the
sincing And they're like, y'all are just y'all reaching, y'all
are targeting this man. This is this makes no sense.

(23:10):
And they actually included a letter from Gina. Remember there
was victim three and Victim three never showed up the court.
Victim three was Gina, who was ex girlfriend of Diddy's.
That's she's been. Remember she had like this. She was
in an audience the BET Awards when Young Miami had
to sign you remember there was the two girls were there. Yeah,
so that's Gina. She shot a letter and she said,
I know he's made mistakes, but judge, she's doing better.

(23:33):
She's has already come out and said that she's never
been in fear for her life when it came to him,
but this letter that she sent said that you know,
their relationship had many ups and downs. They weren't perfect,
but you know, he's getting himself together and over the
years he's made visible efforts to become a better person
to address the harm.

Speaker 4 (23:48):
Gena.

Speaker 14 (23:48):
You was just on Somebody podcast a couple of years
ago talking about how you use it fear for your
life because he threw a shoe at you, like I
literally put her in jest with the mess before which
and now we have this statement.

Speaker 3 (23:59):
Yep.

Speaker 8 (24:00):
Well, I mean I don't know if that. I don't
think the letter will work, but we'll see what happens.

Speaker 4 (24:04):
Once again, trouble is easy to get into it hard
to get out of them. Boy, that's why you might
as well just just just walk the straight and narrow,
you know when you can't.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
That's right.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
Okay, So that is the latest with Lauren Charlomann.

Speaker 3 (24:17):
Who you giving your donkey to? Eight or four?

Speaker 4 (24:18):
I don't know yet. I really don't y'all making a
big deal about this. I'm just asking.

Speaker 3 (24:24):
Just over here, I'm just teasing one, just teasing.

Speaker 4 (24:28):
If it was Tuesday, I might be a little more focused.
But it's still Monday at end of the day.

Speaker 3 (24:31):
Just give me a minute. I'll shake off the rest
in a second, all right.

Speaker 8 (24:34):
We don't work until Friday.

Speaker 3 (24:36):
Nothing, a bunch of nothing this morning. Like, why are
you talking? You don't have to talk, Lauren, Like I
know we got news coming up next, and don't go
anywhere more. Goan to be here. It's the breakfast slogan.
Morning you're checking out the breakfast club.

Speaker 2 (24:54):
Everybody's DJ Envy just hilarious. Charlomagne to God, we are
the breakfast club. Let's back in some front page news.

Speaker 3 (25:01):
What's uping, Morgan, oh Man, what's up?

Speaker 8 (25:03):
It's Charlemagne, the God and all of the headlines, so
in case you missed it, and under a rock or something,
our very own Charlemagne the God sat down with Fox's
My View with Laura Trump, and the two spoke about
a number of things like media outlets having a balanced
amount of guests from both political parties, who you would
like to see run on the twenty twenty eight presidential ticket,

(25:23):
sighting Nikki Haley and the possibility of Stephen Colbert and
John Stewart ticket, social services, feeling safe, putting money in
people's pockets, and just a host of other things. Now
you also rated you. Charlomage the God also rated Trump's
presidency so far. Let's take a listen to those comments
in part on my on My View on Fox with

(25:44):
Laura Trump.

Speaker 4 (25:45):
I wouldn't give it a good rating, you know something
simply because you know, the least of us are still
being impacted the worst. Like when you look at something like,
you know, the big beautiful bill that's something that you
know I'm gonna benefit from because of the tax record
that I'm in, but you know there's going to be
so many people that's hurt by that bill.

Speaker 3 (26:00):
And you know, anything that you know.

Speaker 4 (26:03):
Takes away Medicaid from people, and he won't put people
in the worst financial situation then you know they were
previously in I'm not for it.

Speaker 8 (26:10):
Yeah, so yeah, And then of course you guys had
a very robust conversation around that as well. Shortly after
that air, Trump the President posted on Truth's Social and
I quote the very wonderful and talented Laura Trump, whose
show is a big rating success, put racist sleeves back.
Charlemagne the God. Oh my god, No, why he's allowed

(26:32):
to use the word god describing himself. Can anyone imagine
the uproar there would be a used that nickname. He's
a low cut He's He went on to say, he's
a low IQ individual has no idea what words are
coming out of his mouth, and knows nothing about me
or what I've done, like just ending five wars, including
a thirty one year bloodbath between Republic of Condo, Hongo

(26:53):
and Rwanda where seven million people have died and there
was no light, no end in sight. He didn't know
that we're India and Pakistan, or wiping out Rand's nuclear capabilities,
or closing the horrendous open border, or creating the greatest
economy where prices and inflation have come all the way
down and where stupid and corrupt Joe Biden set the

(27:13):
record for doing the worst job as president ever. But
this dope Charlemagne would vote for sleepy Joe or Kamala
question mark. Well, remember one year ago our country was dead.
Now it's the hottest country anywhere in the world.

Speaker 3 (27:27):
Maga got this man explaining what he's doing.

Speaker 8 (27:31):
Damn so Charlemagne. You followed that up with a post
on social with a series of posts and a caption
that read, swipe left to see how correct as at
Miss j Willie was on the Daily Show this past week,
President Trump was better off going after Erkle though, because
he is really scraping the bottom of the black barrel
coming at me. You can't go from m ok Junior

(27:52):
President Obama, Oprah Beyonce to a sleeve bag named Leonard anyway, Yes, Leonard, Okay, anyway.
You went on to say, yes, I believe there's a
political coup happening in the Republican Party, and I appreciate
laurd Trump for having me on my view last night
to talk about that, amongst other things. Let's discuss So yeah,

(28:14):
I mean, if this is how we got here and
I'm sure you know you're gonna get into where're gonna
address it?

Speaker 4 (28:20):
Yeah, thank you laurd Trump for having me on my view.
I enjoyed the conversation. I think it's ridiculous that the
view has had one hundred what it was, one hundred
and two left leaning guests in zero conservatives. That is
ridiculous to have a platform and uh, you know, only
talk to people that you agree with.

Speaker 3 (28:36):
That makes no sense whatsoevidence.

Speaker 4 (28:37):
So thank you Laura for having me on, and I'll
discuss I'll discuss all the president stuff at about it.

Speaker 3 (28:42):
I won't say this.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
I'm proud of Charlemagne, but he's never He's always stood
by what he's stands what, he always gives his word.

Speaker 3 (28:47):
He never falls back. This is nothing, This is nothing
new to him.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
He stands ten told down and I always appreciate him
for that.

Speaker 3 (28:54):
I did break up with him over the weekend. But yeah,
because you just don't know what to do.

Speaker 4 (29:01):
For any maga people that are just tuning in us.
I'm not gay envious, Okay, so.

Speaker 3 (29:08):
Ok, all right, please you don't get him this week?

Speaker 2 (29:12):
And I told him, well, and he's gay racist. We
taken up the series up there but I'm proud of
I'm proud of always standing in ten toes down sleeve.

Speaker 3 (29:26):
Bag is crazy bag. We'll talk about it.

Speaker 8 (29:31):
With a low IQ. All right, y'all, let's move on
just really quickly. President Trump is not accepting the latest
jobs report and has reportedly fired Labor Department statistic chief.
The report says the US economy added about seventy three
thousand jobs last month, well below estimates. It also revised
the main in June numbers downward by more than two
hundred thousand jobs combined. Trump he went to social media

(29:53):
and implied the Labor statistics chief manipulated the data for
political purposes and ordered the Biden appoint e b fired now.
In an interview with Meet the Press, Kevin Hassett, who
is the White House Economic Advisor, echoed the sentiments of
the President questioning the accuracy of the numbers, adding that
Trump wants to have his people in the role. Let's

(30:13):
take a listen to his comments.

Speaker 22 (30:15):
There's been a bunch of patterns that can make people wonder,
and I think the most important thing for people to
know is that it's the President's highest priority that the
data be trusted and that people get to the bottom
of why these revisions are so unreliable. President wants his
own people there so that when we see the numbers,
they're more transparent and more reliable. And if there are
big changes in big revisions, we expect more big revisions

(30:37):
for the job stated in September, for example, then we
want to know why.

Speaker 3 (30:41):
We want people to explain it to us.

Speaker 4 (30:42):
That should be the biggest concern to all Americans, Like
you cannot just get rid of people because they're not
saying what it is you want them to say. If
the numbers come out for jobs and the unemployment rate
is high, then you just got to own it and
you don't continue to contribute to an unemployment rate. Firing
the Chief Labor what was what's the title? What's her title?

Speaker 8 (31:04):
Labor statistics?

Speaker 3 (31:06):
Labor Labor Statistics Chief.

Speaker 4 (31:07):
You don't do that, Like you come out, a report
comes out that says the unemployment rate is high under you,
so you decide to add to it.

Speaker 8 (31:16):
Secretary of Labor Lori Chavez Dermer says she's going to
look into it. Let's hear more from her.

Speaker 12 (31:21):
It does cause me pause to see such large revisions,
and I will take a deeper dive and doing an
analysis of why those numbers look the way they do.

Speaker 8 (31:29):
So. She also went on to say if the Fed
would cut interest rates, she believes the job market would boom.

Speaker 4 (31:36):
And also too, Man, you just can't. You can't pee
on people's head and tell them hiss reigning right like,
this is something that you know Democrats would do when
they would talk about by the nomics and they would
talk about the stock market being high and the GDP
being high. You can say all of those things and
tell people the economy is good and tell people the
job market is booming. But if every if you ain't
got no job, and you're looking around and everybody around

(31:56):
you don't got no job, what's that gonna tell the community,
What's that gonna tell people?

Speaker 10 (32:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (32:02):
Unfortunately, the sentiment continues with people not having jobs because
the Corporation for Public Broadcasting is shutting down after losing
federal funding. The organization made that announcement on Friday after
having its funding cut by Congress. The CPP has been
distributing grants to public media outlets like PBS and NPR
for the past sixty years. Employees were notified on Friday

(32:23):
that most of their jobs will come to an end
on September thirtieth. President and CEO Patricia Harrison said that
in the meanwhile, the CPB remains committed to fulfilling its
fiduciary responsibilities and supporting our partners through this transition with
transparency and care. That's your front page news, guys. I'm Morgan.

Speaker 3 (32:53):
All right, well thank you that serious yo. All right,
miss it here man yo.

Speaker 8 (32:59):
President of the United States addressed you everybody.

Speaker 3 (33:03):
Well now he clapped at bay and well we'll get
we'll talk about that. I'm once again Magan for all
of this.

Speaker 4 (33:09):
I know some magnal listeners us already, but for the
new Magnal listeners once again, Charlamagne the God is not
gay dj NV.

Speaker 3 (33:15):
I mean you really want to put you all.

Speaker 2 (33:20):
Off straight over that summer Slam stage. Jacob fact To will.

Speaker 15 (33:26):
Be the lie.

Speaker 3 (33:27):
He was here Friday. Why are you lying? But he
was on the stage. Okay, yes, such a sleeves big
with a low i Q.

Speaker 2 (33:35):
Jacob fact To will be joining us as the Breakfast Club.
Good morning, the Breakfast Club. Everybody's dj V just Hilarrys
Charlomage the god. We are the Breakfast Club, Lord of
Roses here with us as well, and we got a
special guest in the building, indeed from the w W E.

Speaker 3 (33:54):
Beating yourself, ladies and gentlemen, Jacob fat To com.

Speaker 2 (33:59):
I like to start from the beginning. Let's go with you, Johnny, Like,
how did you get into wrestling? What made you say
I want to be a wrestler?

Speaker 3 (34:04):
Man? You know what?

Speaker 23 (34:05):
Uh somewhat similar to uh Charlottagne Big Brother story, you know,
I mean it just took me one time to go
to jail, bru.

Speaker 3 (34:12):
That was it.

Speaker 23 (34:13):
I was eighteen and uh, I mean I have my
kids and uh I was locked down. I'm you know,
even before that as a juvenile man, you know, just
just rough headed man, getting going to Julie, the whole nine.
But you know it's different. It's a when you turn eighteen, man,
you know, you don't get no passes.

Speaker 6 (34:29):
Man.

Speaker 23 (34:29):
They sent you right up, you know, right up state
to that thing. So being lockdown. Man, it was weird,
you know, on a toilet with twelve other dudes facing you,
you know what I mean. So, Man, I had a
double back. But I was sitting in the uh sitting
in the sale man, and flipping through the channels. I mean,
you know you always got that one TV. And who
come on, man, my big cousins or usos. I mean, sorry,

(34:50):
man if I get emotional, because y' know, like it
really doubled back and changed my life. So when I
seen them, it was like, Man, this ain't it. This
ain't the play, you know, Uh I belie you said
some too.

Speaker 3 (35:01):
You know.

Speaker 23 (35:01):
It ain't how you start, man, that's how you're finished,
you know what I mean? And uh, man, be a
product of the environment, you know. I mean you really can't.
You really can't let them. You really can't let the
environment double back on you. So man, I just got
out and man, I switched everything. Shout out to my wife,
you know what I mean. So I had two kids,
and the man, I got seven kids all together, but
I had three kids at the time, and I named

(35:24):
two of my kids when I was in jail, and man,
it just wasn't a good look, you know. And shout
out to my wife though, Man, one of the realist swims,
because man, you know, if you lock down and you
don't got nobody on the outside, you ain't getting no commissary,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (35:36):
Bro, Yo yo yo yo yo u yo. Time ain't
coming by quick.

Speaker 23 (35:39):
So man, I had yeah, yeah, I mean, and you know,
and and when they don't answer the calls, you know, Bro,
you don't see a lot of cats on the phone.

Speaker 3 (35:46):
Bron, they going bad on the phone, you know, thank god.

Speaker 7 (35:48):
Oh you know.

Speaker 3 (35:49):
I had my love over there.

Speaker 23 (35:50):
But man, she took care of me though, And it
was like, how is this woman taking care of me?
I'm in jail when I'm supposed to be the man
stepping up to take care of my business. I mean, so, man,
and I got out, got locked down. See my brother's
on TV. Made my mind up. Wife, he didn't even know.
But man, when I got out, you know, okay, I'm
from California, Northern California to be exact, you know, just

(36:10):
to lay sh all up so cal Way different than
North cal But if you don't know, it's all one though. Man,
my wife pulled up not even knowing she came up
north came and got me and Shaid. Bro, you love
me and my kids. Bro, you're gonna hop up in
this wip, you know, I mean, we're gonna move down.
And my uncle Rakeshi the USO when Solo's father, which
is my dad's older brother. My father's a tongue of
kids Sanfa too. My uncle Rakeishi Gang Girl, and my

(36:33):
uncle Reno Hanawaii. They had a resting school called Knox
Pro Academy, which is still here. You know, Me, Russell Solo,
we all came out of there, you know, but they
was in so Cal.

Speaker 3 (36:43):
My wife lived in so Cal. So, Man, it was
just it was God's timing.

Speaker 23 (36:48):
So by the time I came down there, man, I
just got the work, man, you know what I mean.
But first, you know, before all that, man, you know, man, bru,
we was bouncing for sixty dollars, you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (36:56):
Man, were just trying to get through. That's it. Knowing
our people on our co want to see them.

Speaker 7 (37:05):
Come on with you.

Speaker 23 (37:06):
But man, we end up doubling back and I start
training and uh man, we was here. You know it
take for you to just to start training to actually
get into your first real match. Okay, so I was
training for about a month, you know. I mean, mind you,
I was the last cousin out of everybody, you know,
because before me there was four other other of my cousins,

(37:27):
you know, my uncle and there put everybody time up
in there.

Speaker 3 (37:30):
So yeah, yes, ma'am.

Speaker 23 (37:32):
So so by the time I came in, you know,
I was loose headed already, was like, oh, hell no,
we don't want him, you know what I mean. So,
but man, that took a chance. My trainer gang girl
see me in the ring and told my uncles in them.
He man, y'all got a handcuff this dude to a ring.
You know, I didn't know he's seen me messing around
in the ring and all that, and you know, I
thank god I had the talent, you know, and shout
out to all my other family members that that that

(37:53):
tried it.

Speaker 3 (37:53):
That didn't make it though. I mean, but it's all love.

Speaker 23 (37:55):
Though, you know, man, I just I was just blessed
just to have the gift through with it.

Speaker 3 (37:59):
I mean, so you didn't want to be a restler, no, all,
I'm trying to be a rapper. I mean, I mean
even seeing your father or a related.

Speaker 23 (38:08):
To yeah, yeah, some way I mean no knowing someone's
and Polynesians, you know, brother, either one way or another,
we all aren't up. But no, none of us did
my Roman reigns. So none of us wanted to wrestle.
I mean, we was always told do this last. So man,
we was always just trying to play football, make our
own thing. And you know, I mean it never worked out.
It always came back to wrestling. And I say this

(38:29):
all the time. Professional wrestlers save my life. I say
this all the time. Man, professional wrestling. I love it
because it brings different cultures, different backgrounds. I mean, eventually
we all hear right now, you know what I mean?
So man, just thank God. Man, it's all God's time.

Speaker 4 (38:41):
When you walk out into that arena, Now, how much
of that moment is about proving something to yourself or
proven something to the world that doubted you.

Speaker 13 (38:49):
Man?

Speaker 23 (38:49):
You know what, Man, when I walk out, I swear,
you know, I give God the glory. I know people,
you know, they don't want to pry, but man, I
give God the glory right before I walk out. And
then it's crazy to hear whole stadium channing. You know,
Jacob Fatu is my real name. You know, and it
is Fa Tou is solo and the US it's her
real name, you know. So it's mind blowing to hear them,

(39:11):
you know, coming from being in the jail, Fa Tou
you getting released to you know, the whole.

Speaker 3 (39:15):
Stadium yelling FA to now. Man, it means a lot.

Speaker 23 (39:18):
Not only that my kids are half of my kids
are old enough to where they recognize it, you know.

Speaker 3 (39:23):
And the man, I'm just just you know, I'm just
trying to do the right thing for them. Man.

Speaker 23 (39:26):
At the end of the day, I just want to
get my family set up, you know, God forbid anything happens.

Speaker 7 (39:30):
Man.

Speaker 3 (39:31):
Man, I'm just moving forward. Man, It's all about my
kids now.

Speaker 8 (39:33):
I was reading umber something on Y'allhoo sports and the
person who wrote about you in the bloodline your family,
it was a black woman and she was talking about
how she gets upset the way they refer to like
how your family has talked about when y'all like beat
people or whatever because they call you got savages.

Speaker 3 (39:50):
Oh yeah, yeah, is that?

Speaker 8 (39:51):
I mean I thought that you kind of want that,
but I knew she was leaning into like the whole
because y'all people of color.

Speaker 23 (39:56):
Yeah, yeah, well you I mean, I mean just like
with bread Sa we Island some ons, you know, like
they the time is different now. Back in the day, yeah,
we used to wrestled with no shoes, crazy here, but
acting like we're gonna speak anglers, you know. But uh, overall, man,
we loving people. But you know, on the other side,
we don't want to go there yet though, you know,
I mean, but yeah, man, that's just how they know

(40:18):
us as the small swat team. My father was actually
uh the small savage as well, you know. But you know,
times is different now, you know what I mean. So we're
here now.

Speaker 3 (40:27):
It doesn't bother you, No, not at all.

Speaker 23 (40:29):
No, not at all. I mean it's just like it's
just like the internet. You know, you can see the comments. Man,
we charge that to the game.

Speaker 7 (40:35):
You know.

Speaker 3 (40:35):
It's a different time now, everybody. Yeah, you know, like
back in the day, you know, we can't stay and.

Speaker 23 (40:41):
Everybody's getting so upset over every little thing now, So no,
it doesn't bother me at all.

Speaker 7 (40:45):
You know.

Speaker 3 (40:45):
I was taught to have tough skin up in here,
you know.

Speaker 23 (40:48):
Like it goes back to where I told my uncle
RAKESHI and them when I first started training, I was like,
why do I want to I need the belt. They
say you need the belt? I said, because you know,
I thought I need the belt, you know. And then
they said, okay, you're gonna go win the bell. I
was like, oh, and then when you hold the build up,
you act like, you know, like Sean Michaels. And then
Mouncle said, as soon as you hold the build up,
I'm gonna come in there, roll you up one two things.

Speaker 3 (41:08):
I mean like he had to humble me. I mean
because I had to get humbled.

Speaker 23 (41:11):
So at the end of the day with that story,
was it just to have tough skin and man, just
keep it all moving and pushing That lady would have
hated uh Kamala remember, Yeah.

Speaker 8 (41:23):
That was just a part of the whole ambiance of
what you know, everyone has their characters and yeah, no.

Speaker 2 (41:29):
Absolutely we're still kicking with w w E wrestler Jacob
fact too and recently Ho Colgan passed away recipes.

Speaker 3 (41:35):
Yes, what does his legacy on on wrestling mean to you?
If anything?

Speaker 23 (41:39):
Yeah, you know what, it just goes back to what
Hunter said, you know, uh on SmackDown, you know Triple A.
So you know, my boss Eddie, we wouldn't be here
for one for him, you know, because you know he
was at that time. But at the end of the day,
what it means to me coming from a father's perspective, Man,
you know, somebody lost their dad at the end of

(42:00):
the day. And I know y'all gonna hear me talk
about my kids and you know a lot because you know,
that's just how I'm looking at it.

Speaker 3 (42:06):
I mean.

Speaker 23 (42:07):
But over row Man, just like one Hunter said, Man,
you know w W wouldn't be none you know, for
one for him and h four months.

Speaker 3 (42:14):
So yeah, people act like two things can't be true. Record.

Speaker 4 (42:16):
I see everybody whenever you mentioned Hakok and they say, well,
he was also a racist. I don't know him personally,
I know the things that he said, you know, but
it's just like, yeah, he probably could do that, but
he also was you know, a motivation for a lot
of Yeah, you know he did it, put the WW
on his back and make wrestling what it is.

Speaker 23 (42:34):
Today, especially on that Golden era, you know. But it
just goes back to, you know, man, that's just somebody's
dad at.

Speaker 18 (42:39):
The end of the day.

Speaker 23 (42:40):
I mean, I mean, that's just how I'm looking at it.
But yeah, man, rest in peace to hug and it.

Speaker 2 (42:45):
Now, when you're training, how often do you train? And
how brutal is it for your body? How much do
you have to go into recovery and rehabbing all that
other stuff.

Speaker 3 (42:52):
Oh man, it's about foul days a week.

Speaker 7 (42:55):
You know.

Speaker 3 (42:56):
The traveling really texts a toll on us.

Speaker 7 (42:59):
You know.

Speaker 23 (43:00):
Man, we're like, we're in and out. You know, Man,
we're on the last We're on the last flight there. Man,
we get in, do our job, and then man, we're
on the first flight going back. But I had to
learn how to respect the business. Even though I came
up in the restling business. You know, I'm thinking, Okay,
my family's in there, it's gonna be a cakewalk, nah it.

(43:22):
I really had to learn how to respect it. I
realized the sacrifices that my family has done. I realized,
you know, all the stuff, all the time alone and
away from our families that you know, it's a whole lot.

Speaker 3 (43:33):
Man.

Speaker 23 (43:34):
But the training is different, you know. I think rock
Lesson said this too. Every sport is different. Rock Leslar
left wrestling to go to the NFL, and you know
he gave those guys they respect, you know, because the
training is different. You know, so I think it was like, well,
Michael Jordan had went the baseball, went back to basketball.

Speaker 3 (43:53):
You know, his body was different. So man, the training
is on a whole other level.

Speaker 7 (43:58):
You know.

Speaker 23 (43:58):
I'm not saying we're the hard as were most badass
or anything, you know, but I had to learn how
to respect the business as an upcoming young family member,
you know, but also as a worker as well. So, man,
it's pretty difficult. But the recovery, it takes less than
a second. You know, for you to hurt yourself. You know,
it takes less than any any wrong movement, man, even

(44:21):
the way you fall, you know, so you know it
takes less than a second. But the training, you just
have to get trained the right way. I'm not saying
it's because my uncle. These are my uncles who train me.

Speaker 4 (44:31):
But man, I've seen these guys turn to nobody into somebody,
and I'm one of those nobodies that they turned into somebody.
You know what I mean, because I was trained a
proper way. But it's more than just a training. It's
a locker room etiquette. You know, it's how you carry
yourself around.

Speaker 23 (44:43):
You know, like, okay, everybody know my background, but man, yeah,
if somebody was to say something to me out there
on the streets, you know.

Speaker 3 (44:49):
I mean, man, I'm done with that tough guy stuff.

Speaker 23 (44:52):
Ain't well, I ain't here to fight nobody, you know.
But this is where our training comes in, you know
what I mean. So yeah, man, it's it comes full circle,
not only in the ring, but outside of the ring
as well.

Speaker 3 (45:01):
Did you know how successful your family was growing up?

Speaker 16 (45:04):
Man?

Speaker 23 (45:05):
Nah, I grew up just as a kid, just enjoying
it until you know, until my uncle Rakeshi came out
during the Attitude ere You know, this is why I
knew we was popping, you know, when the kids was
making fun of him over there, and man, could you
know because we used to get in the fight sometimes.

Speaker 4 (45:21):
You know, Hey, man, your uncle got the throne on
so you know, being an uncle, yeah, I mean, being
a nephew, you try to defend my uncle.

Speaker 23 (45:28):
But yeah, it was around that time. It definitely was
around the Attitude era of time, man, when I noticed like,
oh man, like bron there's some big things going on
around here.

Speaker 4 (45:36):
You know, how much input did you have in like
shaping your character because it's not really character, said.

Speaker 23 (45:40):
No, it's really me. I mean, I mean well you
know it. You know, I'm taking that northern California, you know.
And man, man, shout out to Uncle Earl, Earl Stevens
e Fordy Water.

Speaker 3 (45:50):
Yeah, I mean, mister.

Speaker 23 (45:51):
Fab and all of them and uh Mazarella. But man,
I'm just I just wanted people to know, like want
from you know, like I said at different times early nineties,
you know, you had the joint, the clowns, you know,
the head shrinkers, like this goes back to our family,
you know, wearing no shoes, wrestling, being wildsome ones to
wear you know.

Speaker 3 (46:10):
There's so many of us in the family.

Speaker 23 (46:12):
And shout out to my brother, my older cousin Roman Reigns,
the USOS and Solo.

Speaker 7 (46:17):
You know.

Speaker 23 (46:18):
Man, they had a lot though to do with me
getting here. I mean, ww may that happen. Shout out
the Hunter. But man, there's so many of us to
where it's like, I don't want to be known as
the cousin, you know what I mean? So okay, how
they gonna receive Jacob how?

Speaker 3 (46:34):
You know?

Speaker 23 (46:35):
So there ain't no other way. I don't want to play,
no care. That's so the only way for me to
do is just to do me what I've been doing
for the past twelve years, and just be myself, you know,
I know, once again, just keep going back to my kids.
You know, I can't do I can't tell my kids
one thing and I'm doing another. So man, overall, it's
just me just being who I am right now.

Speaker 3 (46:53):
I mean, and it's so so so far as working.

Speaker 4 (46:56):
I mean, damn bre it got me over here on
the Breakfast Club, So I think we're doing all right.

Speaker 8 (47:00):
You also got an action figure coming into Walmart.

Speaker 3 (47:02):
Yes, ma'am, oh Man, and that was so you were a.

Speaker 8 (47:05):
San Diego comic contact. You presented the figures. But you
used to work at Walmart too.

Speaker 3 (47:08):
Oh hell yeah, man, Man, I used to do all jobs. Man.

Speaker 23 (47:11):
I used to work over out at Lows man Man, Man,
I was the best stocker at Walmart.

Speaker 3 (47:15):
Girl.

Speaker 23 (47:15):
You go down, my girl. They couldn't touch me down there,
I mean, so, I mean, but I was the crazy
thing about that. On my lunch breaks, I will because
I'm such a fan of my family. You know, my
cousins don't like on our studs, But man, I love
my If I didn't love my family in the business,
just not.

Speaker 4 (47:30):
Then I would not be here. Come on, come on, man,
come on, man, man, they should have put.

Speaker 7 (47:38):
My gut damn there.

Speaker 3 (47:39):
I mean, but you know, but shout.

Speaker 23 (47:41):
Out the big Roman man. I mean, we acknowledged that soo.
But man, just to double back on that, it was
mind blowing being over there. Not only that, like for
me coming to working in Walmart, to working over and
out at lows, to having little side jobs here and there,
anything I had to do just to put food on
the table, especially during the pandemic, because Lord May and
everybody know how that was. So man, I was doing
anything and everything. Sorry to go off the question, but

(48:05):
you know I ain't ashamed of nothing because my father
did that, you know. I mean I seen my father
picking up cans during my pop warning football games, and
I remember I was crying one day I seen them,
you know what I mean. And then my mom was like, man,
I'll be a badsessed your dad. I will never forget.
The following the week, I asked my dad, I said, Dad,
you got some much money. He opened his wall. He
was like, yeah, your ass is crying about me picking
up them cans. All right, Remember man, this is where

(48:26):
this ten dollars came from.

Speaker 6 (48:27):
You.

Speaker 23 (48:27):
I mean, so this comes back to you know, like
what you said with me working and what Man, I
do anything and everything, you know to take care of them.
But man, it's mind blowing, man, especially to have my
own action figure, you know, coming from Sacramento County jail
to Man to having my action figure up in there.
And I'm happy that my kids are old enough, you know,
to where they're able to see this, you know, because man,

(48:49):
my kids have been through the whole ground with me,
you know what I mean. Like, Man, they don't been
in and out through the pandemic, through everything. So it's
it's really good. Thank you for bringing that up. I
appreciate this crazy is growing up.

Speaker 4 (48:58):
I thought that came with the WWE start a kit
like the action figure, the video game appearance like that.

Speaker 3 (49:03):
It take time to get through that, yeah.

Speaker 23 (49:05):
I mean caause not every one thing I'm learning is
you know, my only been in ww for about a year,
but I've been doing this for twelve years, so I'm
still learning about everything. But man, my career, Man, has
been so awesome, so blessed, man, so awesome to where
I am able to be in the video game I

(49:25):
am now when they're selling the SmackDown wrestling ring. It's
coming with one action figure and that action figure is
me up in there. So man, I'm very happy. Man,
I'm very blessed. But a lot of people don't even know,
like I'm actually a fan of everybody else though, you
know what I mean. So yeah, they when they promoted that, man,
it just didn't get no better. Not only that, a
Comic Con five years ago, I was at Comic Con

(49:45):
with my uncle Rakishi, you know, helping him out with
this a box tens. And then this year, man, we
doubled back to where you know, I'm on stage and
people are once again channing the name five too, and man,
it don't get no better.

Speaker 3 (49:56):
We're still kicking it with WWE wrestler Jacob.

Speaker 23 (49:59):
Fatu show me for w W with MLW. Right, yup,
I was with MLW. And you know this goes back
to everybody's story different. You know, they said, Jacob, you
should have been in w W five years ago. No, no, no, no,
Jacob would have been fired. You know, I needed that growth.
I was happy like my brother Solo and you know
he went from college and didn't take him as long

(50:19):
as so every all of the stories are different, but
at the end of the day. It's all God's timing
like this. I was supposed to come in around this time,
you know what I mean. But I was shout out
to m o W. M W gave me that platform,
you know.

Speaker 3 (50:32):
And you're the longest running oh man. Yeah, I mean,
I mean, you know what, we go keep it one hundred.

Speaker 4 (50:38):
Let's go back to the pandemic because we didn't have shows,
so you know, I kind of take I kind of
take half those days off, you know, man, So I'm
gonna be real, I ain't gonna see here be like yeah,
he belt for eight honey, I mean, like, we gonna
keep it one hundred and it was minus like half
of that.

Speaker 23 (50:51):
But m W gave me that platform, and I'm very thankful.
Not only that, New York and Philadelphia raised me on
the independen scene. They really yeah, because man, these cats
will call y'all out over here if your ass suck.

Speaker 3 (51:04):
Oh bro.

Speaker 23 (51:05):
I seen somebody get water thrown on them in New
York just for having a basketball jersey.

Speaker 3 (51:09):
I mean like bro, yeah, yeah, yeah, bro, Bro. It'll
be going many out here.

Speaker 23 (51:14):
But overall, man, shout out to the East Coast man,
especially New York and Philadelphia.

Speaker 2 (51:18):
Man, for real, Now you're talking about your seven kids
a lot? Yeah, would you want any of them to wrestle?

Speaker 3 (51:24):
You know what, Man, I will say this.

Speaker 23 (51:30):
I will say no because I know how the life
is on the road and know the upstowns, you know
the you know, because it ain't easy, you know, but
since it kept me out the way to be a
father to them, and if they love it, and if
they had passion, which is my girls zoo. My boys
is young, man, they do their own thing. But my girls, yeah, definitely,

(51:51):
and there there wouldn't be no other way. And man,
they're they're so they're so into it right now. I
mean I was on the Independence. They never used to
watch me.

Speaker 3 (51:59):
Man, my kids ain't so watching me John Got on TV.

Speaker 4 (52:01):
I mean yeah, I mean usually work like that, Yeah,
I mean but yeah, man, definitely my girls though, man,
I know a lot of people don't want that kids
to wrestle, But I got said, it's a.

Speaker 3 (52:09):
Whole nother time right now.

Speaker 4 (52:11):
How was the oldest man Popper House Pop nineteen Pop
nineteen and my youngest, Oh bro, I'm good at this,
like nineteen sixteen, fifteen, thirteen, twelve A and four.

Speaker 3 (52:22):
So you thirty three with seven kids.

Speaker 4 (52:23):
Yeah no, no, thirty five yeah yeah, Okay, he saw
the bunch of matches to conduct.

Speaker 3 (52:28):
Come on, brother, I had no TV. Look like we
got a lot of TV's in here though.

Speaker 4 (52:38):
Listen, I want to go back to the mindset shift
that happened, you know, after you I got you know,
caught up in jail. What what was the mindset shift
that made you say, you know what? Not only am
I not going back to that, I'm a stay focused
on doing exactly this.

Speaker 3 (52:53):
Oh man, you know what, bro, oh man, it was a.

Speaker 7 (52:57):
Man.

Speaker 3 (52:58):
It was going to jail.

Speaker 15 (52:59):
Bro.

Speaker 23 (52:59):
It was getting that strike, you know, California, we got
those three strikes, and man, it's just going back and
forth to court. Man when I got that strike, and
you know, I'm young, I'm eighteen, but man, just being
in there, Man, it just it wasn't right.

Speaker 3 (53:14):
Man, It's just didn't feel right.

Speaker 23 (53:16):
And you know, I had a lot of partners shoot,
you know, you know passing a lot of them was
getting shrung out on drugs, you know, and then I
go back home. I love my city. I love Sacramento,
but man, bro, I'm really in and out. You know,
it really hurts me. When I, you know, roll around
over there and see people I used to look up

(53:36):
to either they're not there no more or they're all
shrung out, you know. And it sucks though, because it's like, damn,
br you was the big homie back then, you know
what I mean. But it was that and then man,
I just wanted to get you know, get my parents
a better life, get my siblings, you know, my kids.
And like I said, I was in lockdown, and name
two of my kids when I was locked down, and
bru I was not the play I mean, especially having

(53:59):
a strong woman like that, like you know, her taking
care of me. I O don't know, bro, I got
this backwards. Yeah, let me get out and get this
thing going.

Speaker 3 (54:05):
How how did you do? Oh, Bruh?

Speaker 4 (54:07):
So listen, I was always doing like county years. I
mean I was always violating that. I never really went
to prison, I mean, because that's what I'm saying. It
spoke me. But I was always violating, you know what
I mean. So yeah, yeah, yeah, that was it though.
It was just violating. It was never on no drugs
or anything. I mean, because I ain't really get down
like that, you know what I mean. But it was
just being young and dumb.

Speaker 7 (54:27):
That was it.

Speaker 3 (54:28):
Man.

Speaker 4 (54:28):
Do you think that the only way for people to truly,
you know, find a different direction is to have something
to do?

Speaker 6 (54:34):
Like?

Speaker 23 (54:35):
Yeah, because man, why I say that Because I remember
my mom always said, man, you better do something. Keep
yourself busy, you know, because man, you got too much
time on your hands. And you know, that's when everything starts,
you know, start falling apart and stuff.

Speaker 3 (54:46):
Not only that, I had to move out of my city.

Speaker 23 (54:50):
Shout out to the people who stay in that city
that got it together. But I'm I'm different, you know,
and I'm probably not the only guy who did it.

Speaker 3 (54:58):
I had to move out of my city to really
get focused.

Speaker 21 (55:01):
I mean.

Speaker 23 (55:01):
So that's why I give it up to my wife,
you know. I mean, like, that's why I always talk
about her and give it up. And she don't like it.

Speaker 4 (55:07):
But baby, were in the breakfast club right now, let's
go right So But yeah, man, yeah, I think you
gotta find something, you know, definitely find something that you're
passionate about.

Speaker 23 (55:17):
I didn't grow up wanting to be a wrestler, you know,
but man, it's just clicked. And not only that when
I found you know, when I was good at it,
and once again, let's go back to our training. I'm
not saying this because this is my uncle and them.
I'm not saying this because this is my uncle and
them at all, because they gonna think I'm no. I didn't.
It was the training, bro. They don't turn to nobody
into somebody. I love the way you talk about your family.

Speaker 6 (55:38):
You know.

Speaker 2 (55:38):
Charlemon and myself always talk about the biggest thing in
our lives.

Speaker 3 (55:42):
Is our wives. Yeah, come on, I've been married twenty
four years. He's been married with nineteen. I've been married
ten by billing my wife twenty seven.

Speaker 2 (55:50):
Come on, we just talked about it. We always tell
them the young boys.

Speaker 3 (55:54):
Like find somebody early because that's out of trouble.

Speaker 23 (55:56):
Come on, man, and I ain't no a person I'd
rather have shared you know what we got going on
because it ain't just Jacob man, you know, I mean
like my wife had a big part with me. You know,
get in here and once again, I don't know, she
don't like me talking about it, but maybe we're here at.

Speaker 3 (56:12):
The breakfast club. Hello, man, what what legacy do you
want to leave?

Speaker 4 (56:17):
Not just as a five too, but as a man
who just made it through all the things you've been through.

Speaker 23 (56:23):
Man, it's just it's okay to be nice to people. Man,
it's don't believe in the hype.

Speaker 3 (56:30):
Man.

Speaker 23 (56:31):
We got an agent called Michael Hayes. He always says this,
you know, when you're over and when you're over, like
when we say that wrestling term over. It's like, you know,
like you think you're popular, you know, you think you're
doing good. But Michael has always says this, Man, when
you think you're over, you're not over, you know what
I mean.

Speaker 3 (56:46):
But man, just do the right thing when nobody's looking. Man.
That's it.

Speaker 23 (56:50):
Man, do the right thing when nobody's looking, because God
sees everything, and you know, man forgive and for forgive
people like that.

Speaker 3 (56:56):
Man, don't have no hate in your heart, none of that.

Speaker 23 (56:59):
And uh, it's crazy what's going down to now, you
know what I mean. But man, definitely do the right
thing when nobody's looking. But the legacy I want to
live just you know, just can't nobody talk bad about me?
You know, when God forbid anything happens. Like my kids
is gonna know, bro, my dad was straight up, you
know what I mean. Like my dad was a good dude.
He did take care of these people. I mean he
did take care of us. Like even when we see

(57:20):
homeless people out, I mean bred just right there, you know,
or just.

Speaker 3 (57:23):
Say hello to people.

Speaker 7 (57:25):
Man.

Speaker 3 (57:25):
Bro, we was to the drive through the other day.
I just said hello to the drive through people. You mean,
just like, hey, how y'all doing? Y'all have a good day?

Speaker 4 (57:31):
Man, just lit a smile on their face. You know,
you don't know what these people going through, you know.
I mean, like, Bro, they could be get ready to
go do something else.

Speaker 23 (57:38):
But man, just by you saying hello, giving them a
hug and say how you doing? But you might have
changed the whole.

Speaker 3 (57:42):
Move, you know what I mean? So yeah, so I
don't know if to answer your question, No.

Speaker 4 (57:46):
Bro, I say the same thing when people ask me, like,
you know, what do you want your legacy to be?
I don't want people to say, yo, he was of service.
Yeah that's it. Service.

Speaker 3 (57:56):
You know he made somebody's life better, Yes, that's it.

Speaker 23 (57:59):
And you know this goes back to the singer thing
when I you know, just when Scene has just said
before everything, you just asked him how are you doing?

Speaker 3 (58:07):
How was you?

Speaker 23 (58:07):
And you know I remember you said, like you know,
Will people do interviews media, you know, they always.

Speaker 3 (58:11):
Say the same thing. But I thought that was done though, bro,
because not a lot of people do ask us that
type of.

Speaker 2 (58:15):
We always ask because we know how tough it is,
like yeah, you know, of course you're a wrestler and
you work.

Speaker 3 (58:20):
And people love you. But sometimes just to matter, like
how are you doing you good?

Speaker 7 (58:23):
Right?

Speaker 3 (58:24):
Sometimes it's getting it like thank you for asking, and
after that means the most. That's why he got that
blanket on his eyes. What's wrong?

Speaker 8 (58:38):
He's really trying to hide his arms from you?

Speaker 3 (58:40):
Oh yeah, that's right.

Speaker 4 (58:42):
She's right here about it all. And everybody was killing him.
When somebody come in here, buff, he like covers up.

Speaker 3 (58:53):
How much I have to pay? The slapshot of man.

Speaker 4 (58:55):
Oh no, no, well, man, I you know I grew
up watching y'all bro, so you know, like I said,
we have the breakfast club, he might have to pay,
big bro with that on, I didn't want you to
slam before you walk in here, and he was like, man, Jacob,
far too coming.

Speaker 3 (59:09):
I want to wrestle with it. When he said it
was I want to wrestle. I want to go this
weekend and thank you for joining us. Thank y'all. Bro
Fact two, it's the Breakfast Club. Good morning. Let's get
to the latest with Lauren. You want to wrest coming
made that up? She gets them somebody that somebody the detail.

Speaker 8 (59:30):
I'm a long girl that knows a little bit about everything.

Speaker 3 (59:33):
She'd be having the latest on you.

Speaker 7 (59:36):
The latest with Lauren La Rosa.

Speaker 4 (59:38):
Sometimes you have sometimes you have details, sometimes you have
a little bit of everything.

Speaker 7 (59:42):
It's the latest on the Breakfast Club.

Speaker 8 (59:46):
So Dione Sanders, uh, he was on a it was
like a zoom that he was doing or it was
an interview though with the Sante Samuels. And during the
interview they talked about a ton of things, of course,
because you know coach brom Is getting back to work
and things. But uh a sciences. He did bring up
Caruci in the fact that Carucci was in that video
of the vlog of Deon Sanders her parents to go

(01:00:07):
into his surgery. Let's take a listen.

Speaker 3 (01:00:09):
I'm gonna let you go, Coach. Don't kill the messenger.

Speaker 4 (01:00:13):
Everyone seen by your side or your hospital visit everyone.

Speaker 7 (01:00:19):
We got we got a bad connection.

Speaker 3 (01:00:21):
I got it back.

Speaker 13 (01:00:22):
I can't I get back.

Speaker 3 (01:00:30):
Old school, you know, right on about it Yo. You
know what's crazy.

Speaker 14 (01:00:36):
I didn't know that Dion Sanders ex was Tracy Edmonds.

Speaker 3 (01:00:39):
Yes, I had no idea of that.

Speaker 20 (01:00:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (01:00:42):
So they had been together for over a decade, they
were engaged, they called it off. It was like a
whole thing. They they they announced their engagement in twenty
nineteen and then called it off a few years later.
She actually, Tracy edmand had to come out and talk
about like why she chose uh to in the relationship
and all the things because there were a lot of
like misrepresentation of the narrative of what was happening between them.

(01:01:02):
So it was a big deal. But this weekend talking
about getting on a bout of Edmunds.

Speaker 3 (01:01:08):
Yeah, yeah, so crazy. Yeah I did not know.

Speaker 14 (01:01:12):
I didn't know that, but I did see Carlos King
and Claudia Jordan talking about it over the weekend on
something that circulated.

Speaker 3 (01:01:17):
The video was talking to he was talking about that.

Speaker 8 (01:01:19):
Yes, we have that audio, and Claudia has actually had
to come out and re clarified this conversation because people
were dragging her for having and let's take a listen
to Claudia Jordan.

Speaker 24 (01:01:27):
I'm good friends with Tracy Edmunds and I do remember
Tracy hearing rumors about Karuchi dating possibly dating Dion. So
she saw her at an event, I think it was
niecy Nash's event, and she, you know, calmly, just in
conversation with her. She asked her if she was dating
Dean and she said no. She laughed it off and
said no. So, you know, it was kind of like

(01:01:47):
to hear it and to see this now. And I
do recall that they that Tracy and Kuchie were cool,
like they you know, Tracy has put Couci in some projects,
they've you know, their their friends.

Speaker 8 (01:02:03):
I thought, yeah, the people were upset about Claudia and
choosing to have this conversation. First of all, she they
just felt like, you know, you should respect the privacy
of Deon Sanders Carucci and Tracy Edmonds. And then also
people felt like, you know, Tracy Edmonds and everything that
she's done and all the work she's done, of all
the conversations that have about your friend, why this one,
why right now? Like you're reaching for a headline type

(01:02:24):
of thing. So Claudia had to come out and kind
of say I didn't violate any privacy. I was just
having a conversation Yeah.

Speaker 14 (01:02:31):
Well, I guess did she be in a comments like
anybody else, she probably saw, you know, that they were
dating and just remembered whatever her friend told her and
felt like it was her duty to put it out there.

Speaker 8 (01:02:41):
Yeah. I think the issue was though it's like is
that your duty or is it not? You know what
I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (01:02:46):
But I now did what each other?

Speaker 14 (01:02:47):
No more right Deann and Tracy I had knowledge, see
they're done.

Speaker 8 (01:02:51):
You know. But I think it's more of like, if
that is your friend and that was something that happened,
did she want you to tell the story more so?
Is the question that people were asking, and Claudia is
like focused on the story and not on me. That's
what she's shunning.

Speaker 6 (01:03:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 14 (01:03:02):
No, what I'm saying is people were like, you know,
because they were upset that Khi. They were saying, like
Karashi and Tracy, if y'all were friends, why would you say, no,
you're not dealing with him? And then I see you
dealing with him now, you know what I mean. That's
what I'm saying.

Speaker 8 (01:03:18):
Were they friends or was just business like? The way
that it seemed from what Claudia is saying is that
there was like there there was a cordial friendship of sorts.
Because we don't know what We don't even know if
something that Claudia is telling us happen. We don't even
know if this happened. But it's according to Claudia Jordan.
So yeah. But in other news, Sojia Boy over the weekend, Sodi, Yeah,

(01:03:39):
Sojia Boy was arrested over the weekend. Police said, yeah.
Police said that they found a firearm during a traffic stop.
A traffic stop. So, according to law enforcement sources, Soldier
Boy was a passenger in the vehicle that was pulled
over around two thirty am on Sunday in La Now,
during the traffic stop, the officers say they spotted the
firearm in the car and Sojio Boy was then taken
into custody and booked on suspicion of being a fell

(01:04:01):
in in possession of a firearm.

Speaker 3 (01:04:04):
Now, who was driving in? How did they just take
the passengers?

Speaker 8 (01:04:06):
So at the time of the reports, it was unclear
of who was the driver and why Soldier Boy was
the only person that was arrested in all the things.
So I reached out to Ali the So from what
I was told, they so originally the traffic stop happened
from what I was told, because they claimed that the
windows in the car that they were driving was too dark,

(01:04:29):
were too dark to tents. Yes, Soldier boy was not driving,
as I mentioned to you guys. His driver was driving
an SUV, so he was being driven in the suv.
The suv was pulled over. I asked where was the
gun found? And how did they know that it was
Soljio boys? Like how did they tie that into him?
And they told me they don't know. They're trying to
figure it out. But according to what this sort of
told me, everyone was. Everyone else was released except for

(01:04:51):
soldier boys, So that part is still unclear. And vat
to answer questions?

Speaker 3 (01:04:54):
Was when plane sight? The firearm was a plane site?

Speaker 8 (01:04:56):
The police sing, yeah, normally though it was something like that.
It depends on where the gun is placed in the car, right,
Like who's.

Speaker 4 (01:05:02):
Usually they well, usually they ask everybody in the car
whose gun is If the one person doesn't claim, but
they take everybody to jail.

Speaker 3 (01:05:09):
Yeah, how you know, because I've been in that situation,
but you've been in I've been in that situation.

Speaker 2 (01:05:15):
But if the gun wasn't plain insight, but if he
was just soldier boy and the driver, and he was
a paid driver.

Speaker 3 (01:05:19):
I'm sure they probably with guns and drugs. By the way,
you don't want to be a snitch.

Speaker 4 (01:05:24):
All you got to do is say, look, officer, let's
do some simple mapt there's three of us in the car,
and it's not mine.

Speaker 3 (01:05:31):
That leads you to two people. Okay, figure it out.

Speaker 8 (01:05:36):
That was in your book, your first book, right, yes, yes,
that first all right, Well that is the latest with Lauren.

Speaker 3 (01:05:44):
Leonard. Yes, sir Leonard, don't respect my mom.

Speaker 8 (01:05:49):
That is a naja i q fi. All those vitamins.

Speaker 4 (01:05:52):
You don't get to talk to more the ladies. After that,
we need President Donald J. Trump to come to the
front of the congregation. Were like that, have a word
with him. I do need you for something. No, Lord,
you can you?

Speaker 3 (01:06:02):
Can you read? Can you talk? Can you read?

Speaker 8 (01:06:05):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (01:06:06):
Okay, I need you to read something. Then after we
gonna open up the phone lines and talk to people.
Can we do that?

Speaker 7 (01:06:10):
All right?

Speaker 2 (01:06:10):
Then we're gonna open up this phone lines eight hundred
and five eight five, one oh five one, Charlemagne donkey.

Speaker 3 (01:06:14):
To day is up next. It's the Breakfast Club. Go Morning.
You're checking out the Breakfast Club, Donald J.

Speaker 21 (01:06:20):
Trump is calling for a total and complete chuckout of
Muslims entering the United States. When you love to see
one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag
to say, get that son of a boat off the field.

Speaker 18 (01:06:31):
Right now out.

Speaker 3 (01:06:32):
He's fired. He's fired.

Speaker 7 (01:06:38):
Please step up to the congregation.

Speaker 3 (01:06:40):
Yes you are again down Trump. When Mexico sends his feet,
they're not sending their best. They're bringing drugs, They're bringing crime.

Speaker 4 (01:06:54):
Hi, guys, dock here today for Monday, August fourth goal
to President Donald J.

Speaker 3 (01:06:58):
Trump.

Speaker 4 (01:06:58):
Now, if you haven't heard, I was on Lara Trump's
showed my view on Fox this past weekend.

Speaker 3 (01:07:03):
Drop on the clues bombs for Laura Trump.

Speaker 4 (01:07:05):
She's been a guest on Breakfast Club before, so I
had no problem showing up to her program. You know,
I'm one of those silly rabbits who still believes in
the First Amendment.

Speaker 3 (01:07:11):
Okay, freedom of speech. I don't have to agree.

Speaker 4 (01:07:14):
With what you're saying, but we should all agree that
you have the right to say it. Thankfully, Laura is
a Trump who still believes in freedom of speech because
her father in law, the forty seventh president of the
United States of America did not take too kindly. It's
some things I had to say. Now, I'm going to
play you a couple of parts of the conversation. Let's
play when she asked me, what do I think of
President Trump's second term so far?

Speaker 3 (01:07:36):
I wouldn't give it a good rating.

Speaker 4 (01:07:38):
You know, something simply because you know the least of
us are still being impacted the worst. Like when you
look at something like, you know, the big beautiful bill.
That's something that you know I'm gonna benefit from because
of the tax record that I'm in, But you know
there's going to be so many people that's hurt by
that bill. And you know anything that you know takes
away Medicaid from people, and he won't put people in
the worst financial situation then you know they were previously in.

Speaker 3 (01:08:00):
I'm not for it. I mean, where is the lie.
Trump's big beautiful bill is gonna make the rich richard
and the poor poor?

Speaker 4 (01:08:05):
Okay, cuts all the safety net programs, the Medicaid, the
food stamps, the housing assistance. Millions of people will lose healthcare,
groceries will still be through the roof. Rent support will
be through the roof. It's no relief for people who
are already hurting. Okay, I know I'm not supposed to
care because this bill helps the rich, all right. The
bill has all these corporate loopholes in capital gain breaks
that benefit the one percent.

Speaker 3 (01:08:26):
But I know how I was raised, Okay, on the dirt.

Speaker 4 (01:08:28):
Road in most corner, South Carolina, dropping the clues bumps
from most corner right, because I'm gonna always have impositive
syndrome when it comes to finances. My mind is always
on the have nots, and this big, beautiful bill hurts
the have nots. Okay, Like I said, the rich will
get richard while the poor will be forced to work
more for less. Okay, they'll have to work more for
less support because they have work requirements for aid that

(01:08:48):
make it harder for the poor to qualify for help.
I know, I'm not supposed to care because I benefit
from the income taxes. But you got everyday items like
gas and groceries, electricity. They'll be more expensive for everybody else,
So Americans making low incomes will have to pay a
bigger share of the income to make ends meet.

Speaker 3 (01:09:04):
And President Trump must I.

Speaker 4 (01:09:06):
Remind you that you said you won the election because
of one word groceries.

Speaker 3 (01:09:10):
Do we have that?

Speaker 25 (01:09:11):
And I went on groceries. It's very simple word, groceries
like almost you know who uses the work. I started
using the work the groceries when you buy apples, when
you buy bacon, when you buy eggs, they would double
and triple the price over a short period of time.

Speaker 21 (01:09:30):
And I want an election based on that.

Speaker 3 (01:09:32):
People's groceries are still too high. You have not lowered
the costs. Okay.

Speaker 4 (01:09:35):
The other issue I said on my view with Laras
Trump is I believe traditional conservatives are quietly staging a
political coup to take their party back from MAGA. I
explained this to y'all a couple of weeks ago in detail.
But let's listen to what I said on my view.
Oh we don't have that one. Well, let's I can
explain it. Oh we have it, Okay. I think that

(01:09:57):
I think that conservative traditional conservatives are going to take
the Republican Party back. I think there's a political coup
going on right now in the Republican Party that people
aren't paying legislation and attention to. Interesting, Yeah, I think
that I think that this, this this Epstein thing is
going to be a way for traditional Conservatives to take

(01:10:21):
their party back.

Speaker 7 (01:10:22):
I really do.

Speaker 3 (01:10:22):
I think that. I think that I think that.

Speaker 4 (01:10:25):
They know this is the issue that has gotten the
base rolled up.

Speaker 7 (01:10:29):
The base.

Speaker 4 (01:10:30):
The MAGA base isn't letting this issue go and for
the first time, they know they can, you know, probably
take their party back and not piss off the MAGA base.
I think I think, I think they're going to do that.
Just the conspiracy theory, I have Maga, y'all like a
good conspiracy all right. I mean, based on jd Vance
allegedly visiting Rupert Murdock in Montana. That was the same
week Trump's letter that Epstein was published by Rupert Murdoch

(01:10:53):
and the Wall Street Journal. And then this, you know,
about a week later, Mike Johnson shut the House down
to avoid a vote on releasing.

Speaker 3 (01:10:59):
The Epstein file.

Speaker 4 (01:11:00):
And then the Wall Street Journal came out and said
Trump knew he had been in the Epstein file since May.
And I just look at how the MAGA bases responded
to the Epstein issue. It just feels like traditional conservatives
who lost the party to Trump could use this opportunity
to get it back because the Magga base wouldn't be
upset at all. If they impeached Trump and voted to
remove him because he's in the Epstein files. I'm just saying,

(01:11:22):
President Trump, watch you back okay between Elon Musk, Grouper
Murdock and you need to watch you speaker at the
House Mike Johnson and your Vpjdvans too.

Speaker 3 (01:11:29):
I'm just saying, okay. But anyway, Trump didn't.

Speaker 4 (01:11:32):
Like any of that, so he replied with a long
ass post on truth social Laura and luosso are you
sober enough to read it?

Speaker 3 (01:11:37):
I'm good.

Speaker 8 (01:11:38):
Let's listen the very wonderful and talented Laard Trump, who
show is a big rating success. Put racist sleeves, bag,
charlottage and the God? Why is he allowed to use
the word god when describing himself? Can anyone imagine the
uproar there would be if I use that nickname?

Speaker 3 (01:11:51):
Well, study your lessons.

Speaker 8 (01:11:52):
He's a low IQ individual, has no idea what words
are coming out of his mouth, and knows nothing about
me or what I've done, like five wars, including a
thirty one year bloodbath between Republic of the Congo and
Rwanda where seven million people have died and there was
no end in sight. He did not know that he

(01:12:13):
did not know that, or India and Pakistan, or wiping
out Rand's nuclear capabilities, or closing the horrendous open border,
or creating the greatest economy where prices and inflation have
come way down, and where stupid and corrupt Joe Biden
set the record for doing the worst job as president ever.
But this dope Charlemagne would vote for sleepy Joe or
Kamala question mark. Remember one year ago our country was

(01:12:36):
dead and now it's the hottest and he capitalized hottest
country anywhere in the world. Maga.

Speaker 3 (01:12:41):
Now the personal insults, I don't care. He called me
a sleeves bag.

Speaker 4 (01:12:44):
I looked up the definition of sleeves bag says it's
a disgusting or despicable person.

Speaker 3 (01:12:48):
Depending on who you ask, that may apply to me.

Speaker 4 (01:12:50):
Okay, I personally prefer friendly neighborhood ahole.

Speaker 3 (01:12:54):
Okay, he said, I'm a low IQ individual. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:12:57):
I've never taken an IQ test. He said, I have
no idea there will wards are coming out of coming
out of my mouth. Absolutely true. Okay, I've been surprising
myself my whole life, Like damn, I actually said that.
Now let's get to your claims. He said, I don't
know anything about him ending five wars. Mister President, nobody
knew that because it's not true. All right, There is
zero evidence, nothing credible whatsoever that says President Trump played

(01:13:18):
any role in ending the ongoing keyword ongoing conflict.

Speaker 3 (01:13:23):
In the Eastern DRC are in Rwanda.

Speaker 4 (01:13:25):
Okay, America has not broken any major piece deal between
the DRC and.

Speaker 3 (01:13:28):
Rwanda during Trump's second term.

Speaker 4 (01:13:30):
And wiping out Iran's nuclear capabilities, You did pull off
a significant strike, but it didn't eliminate Iran's nuclear capability.
Saying you wiped it out is an overstatement because the
coordinary reports no enrichment facility was destroyed, and Iran's nuclear
threat is still very active, and some experts argue it's
more dangerous now due to a lack of international oversight
and the increased beef with Israel and the USA. Now

(01:13:52):
you also claim the borders were closed, not closed, but
you have tightened immigration policies and increased enforcement.

Speaker 3 (01:14:01):
You have definitely made the border harder across.

Speaker 4 (01:14:03):
But saying it's closed is false and ignores everyone coming
over seeking legal asylum.

Speaker 3 (01:14:08):
By the way, I want border security.

Speaker 4 (01:14:10):
I just want you to keep your promise of deporting
illegals and criminals. But since Homeland Security started to work to.

Speaker 3 (01:14:16):
Deport more people.

Speaker 4 (01:14:17):
Okay, immigrants with legal status are no criminal history are
being detained and deported too.

Speaker 3 (01:14:22):
That's not right. Okay, your family is always in fields.

Speaker 7 (01:14:26):
Okay, all right.

Speaker 3 (01:14:27):
Listen, my fellow Americans. Listen. Listen, my fellow Americans.

Speaker 4 (01:14:31):
We are on a strange time right now, a time
we have never seen, because authoritarian strategy is being used
against anyone who speaks out against this administration.

Speaker 3 (01:14:41):
We saw what happened Friday.

Speaker 4 (01:14:42):
President Trump orders, you know, the firing of Labor Statistic
chief after data shows unemployment rates are higher.

Speaker 3 (01:14:49):
I don't know if you.

Speaker 4 (01:14:50):
Know, President Trump, but by firing this woman, you added
to the unemployment rate. But that, along with his reaction
to what I said on Laard Trump, shows how authoritarians
will attempt to bully people into pushing false narratives.

Speaker 3 (01:15:03):
President Trump, do you realize.

Speaker 4 (01:15:04):
The best way to get the headlines you want is
to simply do a good job, is to simply do
right by all Americans?

Speaker 3 (01:15:11):
He called me a racist. I didn't mention race, not
one time. On Laura Trump.

Speaker 4 (01:15:15):
I didn't bring up the fact that President Trump issued
in executive order directing oversighted institutions like the Smithsonian to
remove suppressed narratives about systemic racism and black history. They
want to reframe cultural memory to eliminate discussions of historical
racial injustice that, along with determination of diversity and civil
rights programs, are considered very racist by a lot of
civil rights advocates.

Speaker 3 (01:15:35):
I didn't even bring that up, okay.

Speaker 4 (01:15:36):
I was just talking to your base, letting your base
know that you haven't kept the promises you made in
regards to the economy.

Speaker 3 (01:15:42):
In fact, you've made things worse.

Speaker 4 (01:15:44):
It's actually hilarious to see you upset about the high
unemployment rates when you let Elon Musk take a chainsaw
to the federal government and fire a bunch of government workers.
Earlier this year, you did that, President Trump, and now
you're doing exactly what the Biden administration did, trying to
convince America the economy is all good when it's not
maybe for people in a certain tax bracket, but for
majority of your constituents who aren't in the one percent,

(01:16:06):
it's not all good. So you can hire a new
label statistics chief to lie about the numbers. It won't
stop the reality of people being unemployed.

Speaker 7 (01:16:14):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (01:16:15):
You can tell falsehoods about inflation being down, it won't
stop the reality of the price of consumer goods being
high because of tariff's you implemented. So listen, President Trump,
don't worry about Lenard. Okay, don't worry about Charlamage. To God,
I know something I said hit a nerve and rattled
you a little bit. But I don't want you rattled.
I want you to endorse okay. I want you to

(01:16:37):
keep the border secure. I want you to have the
economy boring.

Speaker 3 (01:16:41):
I want boom booming. Okay.

Speaker 4 (01:16:42):
I want all these things to be true. I am
an American. I don't care who's in the White House.
I want America to succeed. Okay, believe it or not,
I'm rooting for you. But I need you focused. And
right now you're not focused.

Speaker 3 (01:16:54):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (01:16:54):
We need you focused on two things. The economy in
Epstein all right. I need you to keep the promises
of a great economy and the promises of transparency with
the Epstein files.

Speaker 3 (01:17:04):
And I don't want us as a people to be distracted.

Speaker 4 (01:17:06):
Whenever you see Trump trying to deflect from what's important,
keep him focused. Ask two simple questions. What about the economy?
What about the Epstein files? Going as mentions? Have pity
parties all the time, And ask.

people have to say. Eight hundred five eight five.

Speaker 3 (01:17:50):

Speaker 2 (01:17:53):
You've heard Trump's response to Charlemagne or Laard Trump show.

Speaker 3 (01:17:58):
It's not about me.

Speaker 2 (01:17:59):
Let's keep you also heard what Charlemagne had to say
this morning. We just want to open up the phone

Speaker 14 (01:18:05):
All right, let's keep them focused. Do you think we
should be finding another job right now?

Speaker 3 (01:18:10):
You call up anything to contribute. If you're looking for
a comedian, DJ, somebody who can read. Please let us
know it's not about me. This is about the job
President Donald J. Trump is doing.

Speaker 4 (01:18:24):
Let's open the phone lines and ask people about that.
Eight undred let's ask them the question. Laard Trump asked me,
what do you think about what Donald Donald J.

Speaker 3 (01:18:33):
Trump's second term?

Speaker 8 (01:18:34):
So you definitely.

Speaker 2 (01:18:37):
You need DJ on I think I am I got you.
You need somebody to hear. It's the Breakfast Local Morning,
the breakfast Club.

Speaker 3 (01:18:51):
Morning, everybody. It's the j N G. Jes hilarious. Charlomage
the guy. We are the Breakfast Club.

Speaker 2 (01:18:56):
If you're just joining us, we are opening up the
phone line. It's a lot went down over the weekend,
especially with Charlamage. He did Laard Trump's show, and Trump responded,
and we just want to take your calls.

Speaker 3 (01:19:07):
And this is not about me. This is about America.
You know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (01:19:11):
Because I personally want the president to succeed. But when
the president isn't doing things that are putting us in
the best position, we all as Americans have the right
to speak out against that.

Speaker 3 (01:19:20):
So I'm just simply asking the question.

Speaker 4 (01:19:21):
Laura Trump asked me, how do you all rate Donald
Trump's second term so far?

Speaker 3 (01:19:25):
Hello, we have good morning.

Speaker 11 (01:19:28):
Don't call my government, want my job?

Speaker 3 (01:19:35):
She said, I want what's your name? Then, ma'am? Love
love love.

Speaker 6 (01:19:42):
We know.

Speaker 3 (01:19:42):
Love's up.

Speaker 6 (01:19:43):
Love.

Speaker 16 (01:19:43):
Yes, you do know me very well.

Speaker 26 (01:19:45):
I called some years ago when my husband was thinking with.

Speaker 15 (01:19:48):
My best friend.

Speaker 3 (01:19:48):
I remember, Love, how do you rate Donald Trump second term?
Thus far?

Speaker 7 (01:19:53):
Love?

Speaker 26 (01:19:53):
Man, This is one thing that we must realize.

Speaker 15 (01:19:56):
One.

Speaker 26 (01:19:57):
The American government is like a teenager.

Speaker 11 (01:20:00):
We have just reached Hubert democracy.

Speaker 26 (01:20:06):
We have a tyrant.

Speaker 17 (01:20:07):
We have let's come into the office and disrupt every
single thought and thing that we do.

Speaker 26 (01:20:14):
So one, we have to look at this. We have
to look at the fact that some of these work
being are worth them.

Speaker 10 (01:20:20):
Cannot it ain't.

Speaker 3 (01:20:23):
We ain't confined with that needed to be perfumed with
what is going on on? Powerful well, he said? He
ended five wars.

Speaker 4 (01:20:32):
I know love, Thank you Love, We loves right.

Speaker 3 (01:20:36):
I understand what love is saying. People get passionate about this.
I understand. I understand, But we want to stay on here. Hello,
who's this from.

Speaker 10 (01:20:44):
Some South Carolina? How you guys? Eight four three tal Hey,
So pretty much just my insight of what's going on,
the fact that Number one.

Speaker 26 (01:20:55):
Talking about you and he has everything going on in America.
Be so booky about what's going on with your and
like you said, the one point situation, the one one percent.
I'm sorry, my phone's going in and out.

Speaker 15 (01:21:10):
Everything is important.

Speaker 16 (01:21:11):
When he has going on with.

Speaker 26 (01:21:13):
The White House, we're not we're not rich.

Speaker 10 (01:21:15):
We're not rich. He's cutting the unappointment, he's cutting the
food fair. Okay, And I'm not on I'm not on
any assistance. But the people that I see around me,
they're really stuff like. But he's so busy attacking celebrities.
He could just stay on because what are you really.

Speaker 4 (01:21:32):
Doing if you want to be if you want to
be for you know, so called celebrities on social media.
You know you don't need to be in government to
do that. You can do that from the pleasure of
your own home.

Speaker 7 (01:21:43):
That's right.

Speaker 3 (01:21:44):
Hello, who's this?

Speaker 6 (01:21:45):
Hello?

Speaker 13 (01:21:46):
What's going over?

Speaker 7 (01:21:47):
Hey?

Speaker 3 (01:21:48):
Good morning? We're just asking what's your thoughts on Trump's r.
How do you rate Donald Trump's second term thus far?

Speaker 16 (01:21:54):
I'll give him a negative. I don't think he's making
America career. I think he's taking America boots to get
a shout out on the poops, shout out to everybody's
making off one hundred brand and still card. You know
what I'm saying. You know, like I'm gonna some nachos
to me and white want you to store, and I
saw the ritos is like eight dollars, so you know
we did. We stole the chips, So shout out every money.

(01:22:18):
You gotta do what you gotta do out here.

Speaker 2 (01:22:19):
Yeah, well, don't steal now. We don't want you go
on jail for stealing some chips.

Speaker 16 (01:22:23):
But no, it's not still if you don't get caught.
Let me tell you something. If you already used to,
if you was used to playing like two dollars, you
know what I'm saying for chips, and and you're paid
for something in the store, you know you still contributed
to You still contribute to society.

Speaker 4 (01:22:37):
I also want you to know it is stealing even
if you don't get caught.

Speaker 3 (01:22:41):
When you get caught, it's the charge, that's right.

Speaker 2 (01:22:43):
Eight hundred five eighty five one o five one. We're asking,
you know, Charlamagne gave Donald Trump donkey to day.

Speaker 3 (01:22:48):
We're asking what what you think his rating is thus far?
That's right. This ain't about me.

Speaker 4 (01:22:53):
This is about what Lord Trump asked me on my
view on Fox. He asked me, how do I rate
Donald Trump's second term thus far?

Speaker 2 (01:22:59):
If you just joining us Charlemagne gave donkey to day
to Donald Trump yet again.

Speaker 4 (01:23:03):
Yes, because you know, he's too busy focused on things
that don't matter when he should be focused on being
the president of the United States of America, should be
focused on, you know, keeping some of these promises that
he made to people, like ending the wars, like making
sure the economy is booming, like releasing the Epstein Foss.

Speaker 2 (01:23:20):
Right, we have Tatiana on the line, and Tatiana said
she voted for Trump.

Speaker 3 (01:23:23):
So talk to us, Tatiana.

Speaker 18 (01:23:25):
Here, I'm allowed to make mistakes, Okay, but listen, I'm
voted for him off the fact.

Speaker 10 (01:23:31):
Hey, he's a business guy. He knows how to whisp
us back in shape my pockets on tunn like that.
And let's just say I appreciate charlemagnea god because he
the president.

Speaker 3 (01:23:41):
Okay, I ain't beefing with the president.

Speaker 13 (01:23:46):
Beefing with the president, but I'm here for.

Speaker 18 (01:23:51):
Bela and let's people focused.

Speaker 4 (01:23:54):
I said, I'm just keeping them folcus. I'm an American citizen,
a tax fan citizen. I didn't vote for Trump. But
the thing that we all got to remember is, regardless
of who's in the White House, that is our president.
So we should want him to succeed. And if he's
doing things that you know, don't look like they're putting
the right success, that's giving us the right success.

Speaker 3 (01:24:10):
We should call it out.

Speaker 14 (01:24:11):
And she and she said she voted for him because
she thought that he could whip us back in the st.

Speaker 3 (01:24:18):
He is.

Speaker 13 (01:24:20):
Is Jersey Tony, New Jersey.

Speaker 3 (01:24:22):
Jersey Tony from North's talk to us, brother, Let's go.

Speaker 13 (01:24:25):
On, guys, shout out to the breatherst Club.

Speaker 3 (01:24:28):
Do you how do you ring Donald trumps second term?

Speaker 13 (01:24:29):
So far, sir, second term is the worst thing ever.

Speaker 11 (01:24:32):
I think this is the worst political fiast sco in
American history.

Speaker 13 (01:24:35):
I mean, this guy does understand that.

Speaker 15 (01:24:37):
You get more bees with sugar and honey.

Speaker 11 (01:24:39):
And he's just having a very bad go at it.

Speaker 15 (01:24:42):
His policy they.

Speaker 13 (01:24:43):
Attackle on a certain race of race of people openly.

Speaker 11 (01:24:47):
Is continuous live.

Speaker 13 (01:24:49):
At least other presidents had enough sins to lie.

Speaker 11 (01:24:51):
On us even though we knew the truth, you know,
even had that that these issues, you know, and it's
like to be so blatant with let's just keep it real.
The racing, the big Tree, the uh alive his lost thing,
you know, and the back part about it is he
had the black commedy grow at a certain point, he
had the lat people were at a certain point, he

(01:25:12):
just wiped his book with it. They got you, got
you your thought.

Speaker 3 (01:25:18):
Thank you, brother. We have Vince on the line.

Speaker 2 (01:25:20):
Vince disagrees with you, Shoulam, and he believes Trump is
doing an amazing job.

Speaker 3 (01:25:24):
I'm here for the conversation. What's up, Vince.

Speaker 7 (01:25:26):
What's happening? Yeah, good in you.

Speaker 4 (01:25:29):
I'm blessed black and Holly favor. But how do you
read Donald Trump's second term so far?

Speaker 7 (01:25:32):
Sir?

Speaker 13 (01:25:33):
I feel like this is one of the first presidents
that's actually doing.

Speaker 7 (01:25:37):
What they said they was gonna do.

Speaker 15 (01:25:38):
Like most people are going they.

Speaker 13 (01:25:40):
Uh on their campaign trail, I'm gonna do this, I'm
gonna do this, I'm gonna do this, and they're getting.

Speaker 15 (01:25:45):
Office and they don't do none of that, Like you're
doing everything you said that he's gonna do.

Speaker 4 (01:25:49):
Well, No, it's not necessarily because because he said he
said he said on day one he was gonna bring
the price of groceries down. He said on day one
he was gonna bring inflation down.

Speaker 7 (01:25:59):
You know.

Speaker 4 (01:25:59):
He he said that he won the election on one word,
which was groceries. I mean, clearly people aren't feeling that
relief yet in their pocket.

Speaker 3 (01:26:07):
Thank you for calling that's your opinion. I'm not mad
at it.

Speaker 4 (01:26:10):
I hope those things that he said is true. I
want the president to succeed.

Speaker 3 (01:26:14):
Why wouldn't. I'm an American. What's the moral of the story.
The moral of the.

Speaker 4 (01:26:17):
Story is this Saturday, from six pm to eight pm,
I will be in Monks Corner, South Carolina at my
tenth annual back to School drive in fish Fry. We
got the free backpacks and the school supplies. We got
the food trucks pulling up. Because you know, if somebody
got to take care of people, if my president won't

(01:26:38):
what I'm saying, So this Saturday, six pm to eight
pm at the Berkeley High School bus Loop in Monks Corner,
South Carolina, fall sixth West Main Street. We're doing it
in the evening because you know, it's hot as hell
in Monks Corner. It's hot as hell in South Carolina, period,
So we'll be doing it in the evening This Saturday,
August ninth, six pm to eight pm my tenth annual
back to School driving fish Fries. So you get your

(01:26:58):
backpack your school, supply some food in your stomach. That's
the least, the least we can do.

Speaker 14 (01:27:02):
I think the moral of the story also is accountability
is key word.

Speaker 17 (01:27:07):
Like you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (01:27:08):
I just that's how I feel.

Speaker 14 (01:27:09):
And I think that is a question that everybody should
be able to answer. How does his Trump's presidency affect you?
And I think the answer should go off of how
it affects you and your yours like you and your family,
like love him.

Speaker 2 (01:27:24):
If you voted for him or not. Accountability is the key.
You should be able to question whoever you want without
being attacked. All Right, when we come back, we got
the latest with Lauren. If she's around, I don't know
where she's at. Now it's the breakfast slogan Morning, the.

Speaker 7 (01:27:36):
Breakfast club.

Speaker 3 (01:27:40):
Morning.

Speaker 2 (01:27:40):
Everybody is the j Envy just hilarious, Charlamagne the gud
we are the breakfast Club.

Speaker 3 (01:27:45):
Let's get to the latest with Lauren. Laura be coming
a straight fast. She gets the from somebody that knows somebody.

Speaker 8 (01:27:53):
I'm no long girl that knows a little bit about everything.

Speaker 3 (01:27:56):
She'd be having the latest on the.

Speaker 4 (01:27:59):
Law.

Speaker 7 (01:28:00):
The latest with Lauren la Rosa.

Speaker 3 (01:28:01):
Sometimes you have fact, sometimes you have details. Sometimes you
have a little bit of everything. It's the leads on the.

Speaker 7 (01:28:06):
Breakfast Club, all right, y'all.

Speaker 8 (01:28:09):
So Johnny Manzel has entered the Gilly and Kim Newton
chat and there I don't even.

Speaker 3 (01:28:15):
Know why he did that. Dumb that's wrong with you?

Speaker 8 (01:28:19):
Yeah, So real quick, just a little background on the
back and forth. So y'all know, Kim Newton and Gilly
have been going back and forth because Kim Newton said
that Jalen Hurts is not in his top ten quarterbacks right,
which is his opinion. It's his top ten list. But
you know Gilly is he is the Eagles team at
this point, so he took offense to what Cam said
and they've been shooting shots back and forth. Now, one

(01:28:41):
of the shots that Cam took at Gilly was pretty personal.
Let's take a listen to Cam responding to Gilly.

Speaker 6 (01:28:46):
Gilly, you posted me on your your social story and Peggy,
I got a question to ask, can you name me
one Gilly the Kid album?

Speaker 3 (01:28:55):
Can you quote any of his music? But we know
Gilly the Kid.

Speaker 6 (01:28:59):
Not as a rap artists or hip hop artists. We
know him as a podcaster. We're in the same space.
So your unpopular pick or your popular pick or the
content that you create, Gilly is the same thing that
I do as content creators.

Speaker 3 (01:29:11):
So step aside, sir.

Speaker 2 (01:29:13):
Yeah, so that wasn't disrespectful. They just don't shot out
to each other. I mean, I can find it as disrespectful.
I'm sure Gilly made fun of that. He didn't want
to ring.

Speaker 8 (01:29:21):
He did it, so he did it once prior to this,
and then he did it again at his birthday party.
Let's take a listen to Gilly at his birthday party
celebrating these he's holding the Super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (01:29:34):
Try go back and forth.

Speaker 1 (01:29:40):
Appreciate you telling Kim New he never had one of these.

Speaker 4 (01:29:57):
I don't know if the ring conversation applies to the NFL,
because it's just too many players on a football team
for one, you know player to really really really have
that much impact to lead a whole football team to
a super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (01:30:09):
It's not like the NBA.

Speaker 4 (01:30:10):
With the NBA is like twelve players and five you
know people calling the court at the time like, you know,
because thank you, Barry Sanders and people like Calvin Johnson
and Cam Newton.

Speaker 3 (01:30:21):
Like he's an all world, all time great player.

Speaker 2 (01:30:25):
That depinions they're gonna take shots back and forth. I
don't think it was disrespectful.

Speaker 4 (01:30:28):
Well, Johnny Minzel got two Super Bowls and he damn
ain't better than no goddamn Cam Newton.

Speaker 3 (01:30:34):
Watch watch your mouth. It's a team sport. I know
that's my point.

Speaker 8 (01:30:39):
Well, Johnny Monzel, he got on X and he was
he didn't like that video of Gilly making fun of
Kim Not happened a ring. He said, Yo, Gilly kid,
you may be the biggest FN loser on the planet
talking like you've fing done anything on the football field.
If I see you, just know I'm going to slap
the f out of you.

Speaker 3 (01:30:55):
That like what ye far?

Speaker 8 (01:30:58):
Yes, then he's said, I love a million dollars worth
of game, but that's the corniest thing I've ever seen
in my life. Can't wait for his response. Just set
up the rough and rowdy unlet's call it a day.
Take Jalen's uh private part out of your mouth. He's
talking to Gilly out of your mouth for a couple
of minutes. Pretty sure he's already got a chick. And
then Johnny Mizell posted Drake looking at his phone because

(01:31:20):
he's waiting for Gilly responts. Now Gilly did respond. Let's
take a listen to Gilly responts all.

Speaker 5 (01:31:26):
Of them because you can with Johnny, wouldn't make you
stop at me?

Speaker 3 (01:31:30):
Man? What would make you stop at death bus stop?
If with me?

Speaker 5 (01:31:35):
Johnny?

Speaker 7 (01:31:36):
I know what it was. I know exactly what it was.

Speaker 5 (01:31:41):
You hate all of that, Johnny, Johnny, what the what
make you get up and just say you gonna slap me?

Speaker 3 (01:31:48):
Had to be the right head.

Speaker 5 (01:31:49):
Johnny, because it ain't nineteen seventeen no more, Johnny, this
is twenty twenty five.

Speaker 7 (01:31:56):
Fight back, Johnny. Make you think you just gonna slap
what you're just gonna do?

Speaker 5 (01:32:01):
You're just gonna walk off about your business, Johnny, And
just ain't nothing gonna happen, Johnny. You know we're gonna
have to put on a bet nap Johnny to over
noneing for how many days you're gonna lay in the
hospital And I'm taking thirteen and a half days.

Speaker 3 (01:32:16):
Dropping the clues bombs for Gilly. That's what I was.

Speaker 4 (01:32:19):
Thinking to when people like Johnny Mandel, you know, say
stuff like that, do they see the vision all the
way through? Like if you can see yourself slapping Gilly,
what do you think happens after all that, correct? Now
you think people around Gilly just gonna stand around and
like you just walk up to Gilly and smack him
and just gone about yours.

Speaker 3 (01:32:35):
Said, like what they got supposed to do?

Speaker 4 (01:32:38):
Just Johnny ain't never been to Philadelphia, Okay, obvious, and
there's a crew Philly because everywhere in the world.

Speaker 3 (01:32:47):
I just I don't know, God bless everybody. Random. What's
the connection between Johnny. I thought Johnny was like best friends.

Speaker 2 (01:32:57):
I think he was upset because he said he was
holding the trophy like that, And how you holding the
trophy and act like it's yours when you never played
the game in your life.

Speaker 4 (01:33:04):
That's why I think he was going with Gilly. And
Gilly is damn near a mascot for the Philadelphia Eagles.
He embodies the spirit of Philadelphia. I don't know a
bigger Philadelphia Eagles fan. The Eagles have recognized that on
numerous occasions, so they bought the Super Bowl trophy to
his birthday.

Speaker 3 (01:33:22):
Like, what are you talking about.

Speaker 8 (01:33:25):
Well, you got his birthday, Gilly.

Speaker 3 (01:33:28):
Today's Gilly birthday.

Speaker 8 (01:33:31):
You've been celebrating.

Speaker 2 (01:33:33):
Barack Obama's born day though heavy birthday Rock Obama, Who
else you got?

Speaker 14 (01:33:37):
Jess was saying, y'all just taking all kinds of parts
of my job. Zach and Cody. Yes, heavy birthday to
the Disney stars. They are thirty three now and Megan
Marco it's our birthday.

Speaker 2 (01:33:48):
Say that's the latest way. Let's get to the people's
choice mixes. The breakfast club talking the breakfast.

Speaker 4 (01:33:57):
Club your morning z will never beat us.

Speaker 2 (01:34:03):
Just Hilarias, Charlamagne gud we are the breakfast club s. Lutha,
Buster Rhymes, you want to slup Buster Rhymes?

Speaker 6 (01:34:07):

to him. He actually got the star. LQJ said some
dope words about them while he was there parta ceremony.
We got the audio album. I just wanted the people
to hear it was fire.

Speaker 12 (01:34:18):
Buster was born to do something universal. He's a savior
for his family and his friends. I stand here proudly
to declare that my brother, Buster Rhymes is one of
the true greats in hip hop culture. A truly unique talent,
a good father, a good man, a survivor, a thriver.

Speaker 7 (01:34:37):
He makes great music.

Speaker 12 (01:34:38):
The brother's career is magic, and I watched him come
in the game as a young artist and grow to
becoming og who never ever allowed himself to be disconnected
from the youth. He's a leader of the new school
who's become one of the leaders of all schools. His
name resonates and reverberates throughout the world. And I'm glad

(01:34:58):
that my young brother, my younger brother, has become a
big bro, a big brother the millions. And I'd like
to personally congratulate and welcome Buster Rhymes to the Hollywood
Walker fame.

Speaker 2 (01:35:10):
Yeah, Salutor the Buster Rhymes. I texted him over the
Linking Man. He was so happy and so excited. It's
well deserved, well deserved.

Speaker 4 (01:35:16):
Busting on get I don't think Busting gets nowhere near
as many accolades as he should.

Speaker 3 (01:35:19):
No, absolutely not.

Speaker 4 (01:35:20):
When you think about how you know, creative in the nineties,
