That was the other thing too, because I had like
a feeling seemed like seem like I heard first of
all the hook I've already heard before because that was
back in the day. But I was like, well, maybe
they'll let me ride, you know, Jamie trying with around
then it's man, somebody else had already sung it and
it was crazy. It's like I said, man, maybe I
thought it was another person because I heard an echo
and another studio, but you know how it goes. And

we didn't want to disrespect the guy and everything like
that said, we'll let that go anyway, cut to the
chase this one. I really am excited about this when
it's this kid, Casey and Orlando, who's a fantastic artist
and fantastic matter. And what's special about this is he
sort of he sort of took a step back on
doing his album, uh, to facilitate on my album because

in this game for so long. So if you if
you do a song and you're successful or whatever like that,
it actually makes it tougher to reinvent yourself. So, uh,
it's called you Chase Me, which is crazy. That's what we

this girl, you know that that sort of you know,

and everything make you take that thing is real, the thing,

don't it make you know why you should have got

music game is so tough. It's like if you do
something too young or too you know, to gimmicky along

grinding on it until I until I find it. But
I'm really happy about the whole body of the album.
And some of those records it was just like tests.
You know, they didn't necessarily task to test. But I
think the bars were about to drop right now. I
really feel good about them. That's true because you're old

enough when you do a record like pretty Young Thing,
you kind of come off as kind of creepy. Yeah,
I mean, yeah it, dude. I mean, man, you can't
you know, you put it to putty, this way to putty.
My my daughter be like, dad, don't don't. Don't get
too young on us now, Like I because I had
on some young shoes one time and she was like, Yo,
what's with them shoes? This is what the kids want?

She said, Dad, you got old, you got civil rights feet.
You can't. You can't win a type of shoes, dad.
And it's true because sometimes I see some of my
homies to be out of this my age. But we're
still trying to you know, we're still up in the
club game. The shoe game be wrong. I'm like, especially
them shoes that have all of them, the spikes on them,
the buckles and zippers. Yeah, man, I look dog, the

shoes I had on if somebody smoked me into getting them,
like your fox dash, and then it looked like I
had on some ice skates and some click I'm playing
a football game on an ice skating ring. So I
was like, listen, I'm done with that. So she keeps
me a perspective on what to do. Now, jam you
talk about letting the stuff go. Now, why you just
don't go ball then? Because you be keeping that young headline?

You know? But but see that's the thing though, it's Hollywood,
so I gotta do that. Okay, Okay, my head, My
head ain't built like that. What is that, m planta?

Living Color, it was like, you know, the comedy sort
of hit first, and I feel like, you know, like
I laid down like tracks in comedy, like no one
could every race. But then it was like, how do
I been back to the music. I remember being on
The Living Color dressed as wand that Teddy Riley is
there and it's a brand new you know, I'm just

on the show for the first time, so he don't
really know who I am. So I went and grab
my cassette tape at that time, and I'm running down
the hallway because Teddy Riley's getting ready to leave. I'm like, yo, man,
I want you to I do music. He looked at
me like impossible, and I was like, oh snap. So
I had to sort of fight through all of that,
fight through all the comedy, fight through all the acting,
and get back to what I wanted to do in

the first place. And then you know, I run into
this cat name Kanye West, who's at my crib and
one of my house parties, and that the party was
like at that time, it was pub and it was
jay Z. It was real, all these cats, and he said,
I got the song called slow Jams I want you
to sing on. And then that's what changed everything, because
people who have viewed me as just the comedian or

whatever you they now see me as a singer. So
then you know, once the music start to drop, I said, oh,
this is where I want to be in the first place.
And now I'm in a comfortable position where I can drop.
I can't. I can't take the chances with it. You
know what I'm saying. Are you never gonna went back
to Kanye and did anything? I mean, you know, like this,
this is what I also do too. It's like sometimes

you know, like I don't know when you're doing so much.
Sometimes it's just it ain't the right fit, you know
what I'm saying. But but hopefully hopefully, I mean, because
you know, I texted Man. You know, I'll be like, Yo,
what's up? Whatever? You know? I know you're in Paris.
What movie you got coming through the pipeline? Anything we
should be looking out for. I'll be honest with you.
I'm trying to figure everything out right now. But I

just went in with paramount with with with Mike Tyson.
Some gonna do the Mike Tyson story last year that
you were signing on the play Mike Tyson. Listen man
to be in the same room pitching Mike Tyson a
pair of my Mike Tyson on one side, I'm on
the other side and doing Mike Tyson at the same
time and Martin Scorsese at the ham. So this will
be the first boxing movie that Martin Scorsese has done

since Raging Bull. So that's the thing that you sort
of like, Okay, okay, that's the one that's and this
is gonna be Mike Tyson, you know, Like I called
Mike like a year ago. I was like, Mike heysan
all praised it to our live. I'm happy. My brother said,
why we call that? We call I don't have any
money anymore And I said, why do you say that?
He said, because no one, no one can take anything
from me anymore. I'm just so happy to know of

U's trying to take anything from me. And I said,
that's the story. The story of the guy who, at
eighteen years old had sixty million dollars in his pocket
and everybody's trying to get it. And now the grown
guy who sits back and reflects on the whole thing
of like the money was the downfall. So and it's
not about Mike being you know, Mike Tyler is not
that flamboyant. It's him ordering his food, it's him talking

to his kids, it's him reflecting. So it's that's that's
the one thing. I'm the site back. But you know
how this I'm met Mike Tysons. I'm met Mike Tyson,
I'm on stage at twenty one twenty two. I go
to my Mike Tyson joke. Nobody laughs at all. I said,
what's up? And then the dude in the back said, yo,
Mike Tyson is in here. And I'm like, oh, snap man,
that's what he was knock and casting out for now.

He had that bullword sweatsuit, just knocking cast on the
street out. Then the dude said, yo, Mike said, do
the joke. It better be funny. So I do the joke.
Get a standing ovation And I started hanging out with
Mike when like twenty one twenty two, when he was
riding around in Ferrari trucks and all kinds of stuff.
So I've seen it from a distance his whole life.
So now that's why it's gonna be so dope to
be able to to to embody that joint. And I'm

telling you, I'm ballooned up to like about two hundred
and five pounds and took the pictures and I'm telling
you it's like people are gonna be sitting next to me.
Like I said, I wanted to be able to wear
his kids look at me and say that's daddy. Wow.
