Today on the show we opened up the phone lines after reports came out about Lou Williams who got caught in a lie about going to magic city "for the wings" and his good friend Jack Harlow went along with his story, so we wanted to know from our listeners when was the last time they lied for a friend. Moreover, we opened up the phone lines to see who our listeners think would win in a verzuz battle between Usher and Chris Brown after that idea was trending over the weekend. And Charlamagne gave "Donkey of the Day" to Oakland County judge for throwing a 15 year old in juvenile county for not doing her homework

He's Ammi Cholamine, the god beast of the planet. Is Monday. Yes,
it's Monday. Back to the work week in morning, guys, Hey,

(01:05):
morning Toronto. All bad Toronto. I'm just had to be back.
How y'all feeling Yeah, thank you God for blessing us
with another day of life, to another Monday. You know,
enjoy it. Keep your head up, don't take a deep
breath of Let's just be grateful that we hear. That's right.

(01:27):
How is everybody's week? And I had a great weekend. Man.
I just relaxed with the kids and I really didn't
do much, just relaxed and chill, enjoyed the weather, enjoyed
the family. I was just chilling all weekend and I
enjoyed it. What about you, guys. I t have it
back from Mexico. You know, I was implying a duck
Carmen for a week and now I'm back, and so yeah,
that was it. I just had to get everything together

(01:49):
when I got home. You now, when you're packing to
go somewhere, no matter what, I always waited the last second,
and then my house is a mess when I come back.
So I was just trying to deal with that. Yeah,
you got a great week out there, huh, Yeah I did.
I did. I had an amazing time. This is like
my first real like in the sun, have a little vacation.
But you know that the resort, I'll say this, they

(02:10):
have these machines that you walk through and the sanitizers
you have to like spin around when you walk through it,
and so every time you come inside you have to
do that face mask. Inside outside by the pool, you
didn't have to. They give us like our own area
so that we were just all together in this one
area on the beach, the people that I was there with,
so they made sure that we weren't interacting. And the
whole staff has to wear a mask the whole entire time,

(02:31):
no matter what, even if they're doing the jet skis
with people or on the boat, they have to have
on a mask. Dope. Okay, what about you? What you
do this weekend? Not a damn thing? What is my
favorite thing to do? You know? Who read a finished
a great book this weekend? Um? Watched the watch the
watch the great film. Who just kicked kicked it with

(02:51):
the family? You know? Life is life is best lived simple. Yeah, okay,
that's that's that's what you realized during this whole pandemic.
Even though it's something I always knew, but I think
that we look back on this year and it's something
that we should carry on for the rest of the decade.
This is all about essentials. True life is about life
is about the essentials, and that's all you need. As

(03:13):
long as you got the basics, life is good. Let's
trust me. It's a lot of people like who don't
have the basics, don't even have the essentials to get by,
don't even have the essentials to survive. So you know,
thank God for the essentials. All right, Well, let's get
the show cracking front page news. What we're talking about, Well,
let's talk about honoring people. And the w NBA has
dedicated their season to Brianna Taylor, and we'll tell you

(03:35):
what they did. All right, we'll get into that next
keeping lock this to Breakfast Club. Good morning, even v
Angela Gyee, Charlomagne, the guy. We are the Breakfast Club.
Let's get in some front page news where we starting you,
But let's start with the w NBA. They have dedicated
their season to Brianna Taylor. They had a twenty second,
twenty six second long moment of silence in her honor,

(03:56):
and before tip off, Leisah Clarendon mbri Anna Stewart dedicated
that season. Here is Leisia Clarendon. We are dedicating this
season to Brianna Taylor. We are also dedicating this season
to Say Her Name Campaign, a campaign committed to saying
the names and fighting for justice for black women. Black
women who are so often forgotten in this fight for justice,

(04:19):
who do not have people marching in the streets for them.
We will say her name, Sandra bland At, Tiana Jefferson, Dominique,
Remy Fells, and Brianna Taylor. We will be a voice
for the voiceless. That's real, you know. Once again, athlete
activism is a beautiful thing. Protest through sports. That's why
I never understood the whole basketball will be a distraction

(04:41):
thing because the w NBA and the NBA holding it
down and people are still protesting in the streets and
the media is not really focused on him anymore, but
they focused on him Blaze. All right, let's talk about
Lou Williams. He actually was put in ten day NBA
quarantine and that is because he actually ended up going
to a ship club. Now apparently he left, he had
permission to leave, and then a rapper Jack Harlow, captured

(05:02):
him at the Strip club on Thursday night with a
drink in his hand while wearing the NBA mask that
was given out on the Orlando campus. That's when Jack
Harlow said, that was an old pick of me and Lou.
He tweeted that and deleted the Instagram story post. He said,
I was just reminiscing because I miss him. But Lou
Williams did admit that he had gone to Magic City. Now,

(05:22):
let me ask you a question. Let's be honest. When
I was I was talking about this yesterday when he
when he went to the funeral, he was gonna have
to sit out fifteen days anyway, fourteen days anyway? Right. Well,
the way they do it is they test you every day,
and if I think for four consecutive days you test negative,
then they let you come back earlier than that, and
it's normally I think a ten day. I mean, it

(05:44):
was foul that he went to the strip club, but
I mean he was gonna have to sit for I
thought he was gonna have to sit fourteen days anyway
by going to the funeral, So I figured, a it
really didn't matter, right, And they want to make sure that.
Can we drop on a clues Mouns from Jack hall
Off for attempting to lie for Lou will he tried
for attempting to lie for your man's is the last start,
you know what I'm saying. Some people just give up

(06:05):
nowdays because they just think they caught, they think they busted.
It's like, nope, let me lie for my guy real quick,
all right, sleuth to Jack Caller for attempting to lie
for me. You tried, all right. Well, the other thing
is they want to make more regulations so that people
do get excused absences, and he did get one to
attend the funeral, but then he made an additional stop.
And the thing is that there's no rules on what
you can and can't do once you get that excused absence,

(06:28):
So it's not like it's limited with your interactions what
to do with other people in places. And the League
hasn't made an amendment to that exit and re entry protocol,
so they should probably make sure that people don't go
and do other things other than what they were left
to go do. I mean, lou Will said he just
stopped for food. Magic City has great food. Everybody knows that.
And there's an old video from like a few months

(06:50):
ago with lou Will saying his favorite restaurant to eat
at is Magic City in Atlanta. So if he's in
the area, get some food. You got some food. I
don't see the problem. You would have to stop to eat.
You can't stop to eat. You can get take out.
You can get take out. Maybe maybe he wouldn't need
to take it out, if you wouldn't need to take
it out in the meantime, while you're waiting, your food

(07:12):
ain't done yet. Well, I want to drink real quick.
Yeah sure, some singles right quick? Yeah sure. I ain't
see all that now, I ain't see him with those
singles and all that. But I'm just saying it's not
out of the realm of the positive possibility that he
went there to grab some food and be out. All right, Well,
I Mandela Year and that is your front page news.
All right, thank you, miss ye. Get it off your
chest eight hundred five eight five one oh five one.

(07:34):
If you need to vent, hit us up right now.
Maybe you had a horrible weekend or a bad weekend,
or maybe you feel blessed. You want to spread some positivity.
Phone lines are wide open. Eight hundred five eight five
one oh five one. Get it off your chest. It's
the Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club, Wake up,
wake up, your time to get it off your chest

(07:57):
because you're mad or blast, we want to hear from
you on the breath. Hello, who's this ninie? Hey? Um,
I just wanted to send a shout out to all
my college students. We're about to start this semester. It's
gonna be a crazy one. I'm going into my senior year,
so everybody just stayed strong and blessed up. Yeah, it's

(08:19):
gonna be tough for y'all. Y'all going back into school
physically or y'all doing the online thing. A lot of
schools are doing this thing called hybrid where we have
like a split of like some online classes, and then
sometimes we leave. It's just so they can get our money.
Basically a little bit. Where are you going to school? Oh, hey, Angela,
I go to Frostburg State University. I'm from Maryland and

(08:42):
I wanted to stay real quick for y'all hang up
on me. I just wanted to shout out to y'all
because I got on here like a couple of weeks ago,
and I shouted out with my podcast did you see
Are with Nani? And thanks to that, like I got
a lot of new viewerships. So shout out to y'all. Thanks, Hey,
congratulations man, wild about Yeah, the while I think about school,

(09:02):
this ship is people are really gonna have to focus
on probably just school. There's nothing else to do. Yeah, no,
they no extracurricular activity. I'll be honest. Now they're out
there party and I mean I know drama sent you
a picture. What's going on in New Jersey show the
city was packed people a party like crazy. Bro. Yeah,
it's summertime. I get it. But the school allowed that

(09:22):
on campus though, And what the areas the towns around
the school allowed kids to congregate like that when school
gets back, Well, that's the question. Hello, who's this? You
know this south Side too? What? I bro? Get it
off his ches? Man? Hey, this full p and b
rock and so much designed. I don't know if y'all
know the fire building that went viral from Minneapolis, Minnesota

(09:43):
south Side Street. But he's only UK Instagram trying to me,
minicing me, uh, trying to make a full out of
the city sparked the biggest civil rights movement in the world.
We're not having that. And this really needs to get
a dress because it's getting saw that. I saw that out.
What did he do exactly? Now, hold on takes explaining me.

(10:04):
He took my fire the building, the pictures of the
projects building that was getting built on Lake Street that
went viral, that's my design Lake Street legend dot Com
we out here, we really need the money. Trump not
funding us. He's got he's needing. But hold on, I
got a corn dance. A lot of emotions going on
because yeah, because see sometimes what happens is when something

(10:25):
is really really major, your don't think everybody's thinking about it.
Well he if he If you go to his ig comments,
there's thousands of comments from Minneapolis, Minnesota saying that he
needs to give us the money back. Like I'm telling y'all,
this is not what the money did he take? I
mean he said what oh on the T shirt. Yeah,
if you go to this page, you see the video

(10:46):
he remember he did a little six nine little whatever.
That little joke stuck and we did my whole little
Instagram video all the building on fire is your design?
None of that people. I'm looking at this distract. Really,
so he did a distract about you. No, it's not
a distract. It's the T shirt with the building on

(11:07):
fire that says my city needs something. Okay, because I'm
looking at the website and I see this distract, So
I don't know what that is. So basically that's a
building that's Lake Street got you. I can't see what
you're saying, so that's not even his city. It's not
even his city. Oh, relax, relax, all right, Bro, Bro

(11:29):
down that night though well reported on that whole thing.
Y'all have no clue that means something home. He just
got up like six years. He had to go back
the halfway house across the street. He had to go
back to jail for two weeks after that. Like it's
so much you can't down. Yeah, you can't just claim
that if pnb Rock can't just claim that and say,

(11:49):
you know, my city needs something that that that building.
And then he talked, he say in Minnesota, sought for real, Altiman,
he's passing up the mouth. What fuck he said that?
Where you said that? A Bro? I got video all
of it. Bro's been going crazy. We've been hearing up
everybody about this. What the only thing we can let

(12:12):
you do is let your voice be heard, sir, So
you just all right. I gotta do a little research
and see what's going on. Get it off your chest
eight undred five eight five one oh five one. If
you need to vent hit this up now is the
breakfast club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club. It is your
time to get it off your chests. Whether you're man

(12:33):
or Blast, so you better have the same industry. We
want to hear from you on the breakfast club. Hello,
who's this is? Ant time from Florida? Ants on what
I'll get it off your chests? Bro? All right, I
want to talk about the couple hours in Minnesota inside
the Walmart with the fox to come masks on. How
stupid do you have to be going? And and Walmart
wear a mask on? And you know it's racist. Doesn't

(12:55):
explanation for that. And I think they should be charge
of the hit crime. Is a hit crime if you
draw a fox to go on, U want to do it? Um?
Do it straight? I mean they should be charged with
a hate crime. Man. Yeah, I agree with you. Yeah,
And you know it's crazy. You call it stupid. I
call it America and everyday life name? Hello, who's this something?
This is? That gate was from him Long Island, her

(13:18):
whole names about to give somebody the business get it
off your chest? Yes? Yes, so I ham me, oh, yes,
thank you. I think it's despicable that you have people
that's on Section eight. You know you try to get
people a chance. I had to move out my dog
on house because I gave this woman a ninety day
notice because she started tearing up my house and now
she want to stomp and bang whenever I come inside.

(13:38):
I can't even stay at my own house. I have
to pack up with my three puffs. Now, when my
niece got winto what was going on from my other
niece commission, my niece Nique came over. Now she gave
her the ratchetness, told her behind off. Now went home yesterday.
Now she's not stomping and banging. Why would someone has
to go through that? Well, why don't you what's to
open their? Mama said, you can get her evicted if

(13:59):
needby the law process, which out it's a law process,
but you can get it out though it is. Oh
yes I can. But also to Holly six spies at
the inter September so she know I probably won't get
a quote tober, but I'm going to what assport disturbing
my peace because that's not right. So just let you
guys know what you probably probably already know. If you

(14:21):
have rental proper, don't buy rental property in New York
State because New York is a tenant state. Yes it is, hell,
yes it's a tenant state. So don't do it. You
have to do your research. But I heard you guys
say somewhere in New Jersey they don't have all the schoolishness.
You know, you've taken a quote one time and that's it.
But yeah, I don't want to get off my chest.

(14:42):
Now that's very true. I've been dealing with these properties
out here where people are trying to sell, but they won't.
They want to sell their properties section eight tenant inside,
and then it's your responsibility to try to get them
to move out. And it's not an easy process. And
especially now with coronavirus, people are really like, now I'm
not leaving and you can really do about it. And
some of these states they actually have classes that teach

(15:04):
tenants how to stay longer. That's why I said, out
of those those type of states, when I do invest
in by properties and buildings, stay away from those because
you know people will take advantage of you unless it's
delivering vacant and then you'll be okay. And I just
want to tell you, lady, salute to your bully asks
niece all right for coming over and getting putting the
check on that young lady all right, making her act right.
That's the we missed that part of the store's big

(15:26):
nies came over there and started checking. People started acting right,
get it off your chest eight hundred five eighty five,
one oh five one. We got rumors on the way. Yes,
and this rapper started crying as he retired from the game.
We'll tell you who it is, all right, We'll get
into that next. It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, the
Breakfast Club. Just oh got Breakfast Club. Well, logic droke

(15:57):
down as he was talking about retiring from hip hop.
As you know, he's done a deal with Twitch and
he's going to begin his career over there as a gamer.
And here's what he had to say. I want to
thank Kendrick because he doesn't know how much he was
there for me and Cole and Drake Asap and fur.
There's too many people, man, I thank you all, love

(16:19):
you all. I bid you farewell, and that's always I'm
obediently yours. I won't be on the internet for the
first time in my career because it hurts me. And
every time I released an album I just wanted to
be loved. And this time I don't check the internet
because I finally love myself. I'm glad logic has found

(16:39):
a love for himself. Okay, retirement isn't an agents and
income or a place a place of peace. And if
he's found peace, God bless him. Right. He explained more
when he did this Billboard interview on why he was
planning to retire. I just wanted to retire because I'm
just over it, man like, and not even in a
like a negative way. I'm just over it. I love music,
and I'm gonna can tinue to like make music on

(17:01):
my own. I don't know what. I just can't not
make music. It's a journal for me. It's how I
expressed myself. It's how I heal. But I'm stepping away.
And the thing is too, I'm not trying to make
it this big show like oh my god, because it's
not that deep. You either believe me or you don't. Yeah,
like Charlemagne said, whatever makes him happy, man, at this point,
it ain't about the money. It's about being happy. And
if that makes him happy, so behre. Yeah. And those

(17:23):
guys he named Drake Kendrick J. Cole's, He's actually emulated
them a lot right in his music, Like he's you know,
some people would say he's done bad impersonations of all
three of those people. So maybe when those people aren't
putting out music as much as they once were, he
doesn't have anything to emulate. Well, he's still going to
be doing music, it just won't be the way that

(17:46):
he was doing it before because he's tired of checking
the internet. And finally, he loves himself. So so when
Kendrick drops an album, he'll wait and here with Kendrick
sounds like and he'll emulate that and he'll have his
inspiration again. Maybe I'm just saying I'm throwing things out there.
Is that how he is to notice? I never really,
you know, got into logic. Does he emulate these artists?
Dan's probably read right now, Dan, since that's your favorite artists?

(18:07):
When are you hilarious? Does he emulate those three people? No?
I think um people like you are the reason why
he's leaving the industry though. It be honest, he doesn't
emulate Cola Drake, I mean, Cola Kendrick. Come on now,
Maybe that's Dan's whiteside standing up for logics. Whiteside together, right,
I get it all right. Chrissy Teagan has made her

(18:29):
Twitter private, and that's because she made a joke about
Megan the Stallion. Now it wasn't about the situation that
just happened, but the timing of it was probably pretty bad.
She said, I have a Megan the Stallion joke, but
it needs to be twerked on. It wasn't really that funny.
And then she said, before you start, I love her.
That was the disclaimer she gave after she started getting
some backlash but people were going in. So she has

(18:51):
now made her page private on Twitter. Read the Room, Chrissy,
all right, you saw Dreya just get smoked this week
from making jokes about Megan the Stallion. Other people online
getting smoked from making jokes about making the Stallion. Even
if your joke wasn't wasn't about the shooting. Now was
not the time to be joking on Magan the Stallion, Chris,
you read the room. Come on, all right? Michelle Obama

(19:14):
her podcast that her first guest will be none other
than Barack Obama. So that is going to be on
the debut episode of the Michelle Obama Podcast that will
be released on July twenty ninth. They actually have put
out a teaser and listen to this. We are here
with a few members of my posse. Remember you used
to have temper cantroms. No, no, we don't need to

(19:36):
talk about that. Who was able to convince Mom to
move to the White Guy? I was able to convince
Mom to move to the White House because I'm her favorite.
That's why you made us all feel like not just
start work had values, but our lives had value. You
are the eternal. Yes we came from me. Yes we can. Man,

(19:56):
that's a cheat code. You can come out the gate
with your your first the interview as president with President
Barack Obama. I need to know what what credicials them
Michelle Obama has as a journalist to be sitting down
with a president Barack Obama. Okay, I don't think he
has a choice. How about that certain things you just
don't have a choice with dropping the clues bum from
Michelle Obama. What's the name of the podcast you'd be

(20:18):
coming Michelle Obama Podcast. Michelle Obama Podcast. Okay, I can't
wait to check that out. She also said throughout the
first season, I'll be having more conversations like this one
with the people closest to me. My mother and brother
stopped by, as does my friends and mentor Valerie Jarrett.
You'll also hear from many of my girlfriends, the women
who've always been there with the shoulder to lean on,
a perspective to think about are simply an open line

(20:39):
to event two. And I would think that at a
time like this, she'd be using that platform to really,
I guess, you know, discuss politics or at least really
encouraging people to vote and tell us what we're really facing,
you know, this November, I would think, since she's dropping
in July, all right. And lastly, I just want to
give a congratulations to Sierra and Russell Wilson. They welcome
their baby's son. His name is Win, and he wrote

(21:03):
Happy birthday, Win. Mommy and Daddy love you, So congrats
to them. If you remember, Russell Wilson was concerned about
NFL starting again and missing his child being born. He
had tweeted out, I'm concerning my wife is pregnant, NFL
training camp is about to start, and there's still no
clear plan on player health and family safety. He tweeted
that out right before Sierra gave birth just a few

(21:25):
days before that. I know one thing when Winn gets older,
that old deeb goody by dj Kalett is gonna be
here no matter what. That twenty years from now, that
oldiebook good, he's gonna be his record, all right, Little
Jay rock win win win win. Yeah, that one too,
that's another old it's gonna be another old debt. Goody
for young Wynny. Well, I'm Angela Yee and that is

(21:48):
your rumor report. All right, thank you, miss Yee. Now
we got FROMT page news coming up. What are we
talking about? Yes, I give you some updates on what's
happening with coronavirus. Also with these stimulus packages. What can
you expect to come or what can you not expect?
All right, we'll get into that next. Keeping lock this
to breakfast club. Good morning, Seebody is cj Envy, Angela Yee,

(22:08):
Charlomagne the guy we all the breakfast club. Let's getting
some front page news. Where we starting? Ye woo. Well,
let's start with a black woman who was found hanging
in her apartment in the garage in Texas. Now, Gloria
Bambo went sing on July ninth, and she was found

(22:28):
by her white male roommate hanging in the garage on
July twelfth. So initially they had posted about her death,
alleging that she died the same day that she went missing.
They said her body was in the garage for three
days where people resided and repairs were being made, and
nothing was said about it. So right now they're trying
to get more information on what happened. The McKinney Police
Department took to Facebook to address all of the social

(22:50):
media speculation. They said they believed that her death was
a suicide, but the investigation is ongoing. According to the statement,
the McKinney Police Department typically does not comment on suicides,
including naming the deceased, but due to the public nature
of this case, we feel they need to clarify some inaccuracies.
They noted that she was found hanging by her nineteen
year old male housemate. They did not provide details on

(23:13):
when or where she was found, but they did say
that he has been cooperative during this investigation and all
evidence in the case so far leads investigators to believe
it was suicide. But they're saying the family is still
not getting many answers about what actually went down, and
you know, they're trying to figure out what happened. According
to this account, By the way, a friend of the

(23:35):
roommate who found her body released a statement. They said
that it came from the unnamed roommate and they said
that Bambo lived with bipolar anxiety disorders. And those tweets
have since been deleted. You know, so she was hanging
for a few days in a houseful of roommates and
nobody noticed. Where is the investigation now? You know how

(23:55):
when the cops shoots an none own black person or
none on black person, even if it's on video, they say,
we have to investigate, even though we all saw it.
This is one that definitely needs to be investigated because
if this don't smell fishing, then I don't know what
the hell goddamn fish smell like. Okay, right, so we
will keep you updated. They feel like there hasn't been

(24:16):
much media coverage and so we want to make sure
we stay on top of things and keep everybody informed.
All right, now, the White House is talking about a
coronavirus relief stimulus, and there's a lot going on right now.
First of all, Florida has to pass New York's coronavirus tally.
More than nine corona virus cases were reported in Florida

(24:38):
on Sunday and in additional, seventy eight more deaths as well.
So the number of new cases was lower than other
days last week, but they're saying that it's pretty bad
in Florida over the weekend, Floridas to pass New York
state and having the second highest caseload. You know what
number one is California's. So right now it's California, then Florida,
and then New York. McDonald's will be required all customers

(25:00):
to wear face masks starting next month. They announced on Friday,
all will be required all their customers, everybody to wear
face coverings when entering one of their fast food restaurants,
and that change starts on August first. That's that's some
of the new safety measures that are being implemented. Why
why did McDonald's just start that. I saw that this
weekend and I was like, why do you just starting

(25:21):
to allow people to wear face mask inside the franchise?
I would think they would have been had to make
masks ready. Well, you know, it depends on it depends
on what states you're in. And that's you know goes
true for Walmart for a lot of these stores, costco
and everything. But now people are implementing them nationwide across
all of their stores. So normally it would be a
state by state thing, but now because it's not a

(25:42):
federal thing, they're making it so that for these private
owned businesses across the board, you have to wear a mask.
I would think you would lose business because if I
walked into place and they didn't have mask going, I
probably would leave. To be honest with you, yeah I
would too. But it doesn't seem strange that you say,
you know, Florida cases are shooting up, so and they're
still allowing like Disney World will be open and all

(26:03):
these big theme parks to be open. That that doesn't
seem strange anybody. They're living with it. They're gonna do
shut it down again and lose all of this money.
You know, this is a capitalist society we live in.
They they're choosing to live with it, and some people
are choosing to die with it. Clearly, all right, let's
talk about this next stimulus package. White House officials and
Republicans in the Senate are finalizing a bill that would

(26:25):
be another round of twelve hundred dollars checks to many Americans,
but that would not renew the full unemployment insurance and enhancement.
That's part of the proposal for the next stimulist bill.
They're going to be unbuilding that today, so we'll keep
our eye on what's going to be in this latest
recovery package. They're talking about retention bonuses, tax credits for
small businesses and restaurants. They did propose a one time

(26:48):
payment that would mirror the first round of stimulus checks.
That's when individuals were given a one time payment of
up to twelve hundred dollars and families could received twenty
four hundred plus five hundred per child. The size of
the payments have been skilled down by income level and
phase that all together if you make more money. So
today we'll find out what that is. If people get
that twelve hundred dollars the first time, Did everybody get this?

(27:10):
I haven't heard nobody complaining that they haven't got it. Yeah.
I think a lot of people did get people. Yeah,
I think people did get it. And I wonder how
many people reluctantly take that money because they don't like
Donald Trump. You know what I'm saying. You know, when
you loan somebody money and the need when you ask
for it back to people like, I give you a
little funky as twenty dollars back on how many people say,
I'm gonna take that little funky ass twelve hundred dollars
And I ain't voting for you in November. I'm sure

(27:32):
a lot of people did that. They took that money,
so I ain't still ain't voting for you though. I
was talking to my friend that owns this a restaurant
in Brooklyn, Tillies Dahlia, and she was telling me that
she needs to hire people, and it's been hard because
a lot of people make more money off their unemployment
than they've been making if they go back to work,
and so a lot of people are doing their unemployment
right now. But when that unemployment runs out those benefits,

(27:55):
everybody's going to be rushing back to get a job.
So I just want to recommend right now, if you're
on an unemployment and you've been like, okay, I'm getting
more money from that, it might be good time to
look for something now because you don't want to go
back to look when everybody is right now. I get it,
but that's honestly how it should be. Right. If this
virus is um you know, as contagious as they say
it is, and it's as dangerous as they say it is.

(28:16):
And you want everybody to stay home, you gotta pay
me to stay home. Okay, So was it the unemployment
of the stimulus checks? I'll sit my ass down as
long as I got some bread coming in. If not,
I gotta be out right. All right? Well, lad is
your front page news. Now let's open up the phone lines.
Eight hundred five eight five one on five one. We

(28:36):
were talking about Lou Williams early. Explain what happened with
Lou william g Well, he had to He got a
permission to leave the NBA bubble, and that's because he
had to attend the funeral. The only issue was that
he did stop by Magic City to get some food,
and he did post about it. He said that, you know,
he was in and out, he had he had his

(28:56):
mask on and he went there because he loves their food.
So you know, Jack Harlow, the rapper, Jack Carlo is
the one who actually posted a picture of him on
his story and the two of them were quote partying
together on his Instagram story at Instagram story, and Jack
Carlo did delete that post. But now he's getting some backlash.
All right, listen, man. All Lou Williams simply did was

(29:18):
stopped by his favorite restaurant to get some food. And
Jack Harlow did what I consider a lost start. He
tried to lie for his guy and say that it
was an old picture, old video he did. It was okay,
lost art, dropping the clues bond for Jack Harlow, I said, okay,
a lot of people don't know how to run that
type of interference anymore. All right, so it's actually a

(29:39):
trait you lose with age. I think so. So we're
asking eight hundred five eight five one on five one,
when's the last time you had to lie for a friend? Now,
Charlomagne behind the scenes told us a situation where he
said he's not lying. Well, this was actually a while ago.
It's about I say, maybe he's seven years ago. He's
seven eight years ago. And yeah, one of my partners.

(30:01):
Early one Saturday morning, I get a phone call and
it was his uh baby's mother, quite disturbed, and his
baby mother was like, was he with you last night?
And I said absolutely not foul and she said that's
all I needed to hit and she hung up the phone. No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
The reason I said absolutely not, it's because number one,
I didn't get no heads up that I should be

(30:23):
running any type of interference or I should be lying
for you. You might have time to give you heads up.
Number two, the way she sounded in her voice, I
don't know what she's about to tell me. What if
he's in jail because he just committed some type of crime.
If what if he robbed what if he robbed the
bank last night? What if he killed somebody? I ain't
got time to fall of that old body's mess. I'm

(30:46):
a grown ass man. I got cheering, okay, I don't
got time to be called nobody. Get you with me
last night? Nope? Was he with me last night? Nope?
And number two, you two grown still be lying to
your goddamn woman. He could have said, I don't know,
hung up, could have just clued up. You don't have
to spare to say nothing. I'm not that friend. He
probably he probably got it. He probably got himself into trouble.

(31:07):
He was all he was like, No, I was with
Charlomagne last night. Let me blow him. Charge just said,
And all you could have said was click nope, and
it text me and be like, yo, your girl hit
me bro, you good? That's all you could have? Absolutely not.
What's that old game show? Who want to be a millionaire?
All right? If you don't want to be in the
doghouse with you woman, don't use me as no goddamn
called friend, dollar friend whatever. Eight hundred five eight five

(31:28):
one on five one. When's the last time you told
a lie for your friend? Call us? Now? Is the
Breakfast Club? Good morning? Your phone call in right now?
You called me at your opinion to the breakfast Club
top breaking down eight hundred five eight five one on
five one, the Breakfast Club. It's topic time. The phone

(31:54):
called eight hundred five eighty five one oh five. Want
to join it to the discussion with the Breakfast Club?
Talk about it? More than everybody? Is DJ Envy Angela Yee,
Charlomagne the guy we are the Breakfast Club. Now if
he just joined us? We were talking about lou Williams now.
Of course he plays for the NBA and he got
an excuse to go home to go to a funeral,
but he also went to Magic City to grab his

(32:17):
favorite wings because Magic City is his favorite spot to eat. That.
Let's hear audio of that Many is my favorite restaurant
in the world. So all the time to shut down
in Atlanta, the restaurant is still open. You can still
go to Magic and get your food. I don't see
the problem young man stops at his favorite restaurant to
get some food. Good brother Jack Harlow, who I don't

(32:37):
know from a Canna paint, did what I considered to
be a lost start, and he tried to lie for
his guy to keep his guy out of trouble. What's
the problem here, people? What's the problem? That is the question?
Eight hundred five eight five one oh five one. When's
the last time you had to lie for a friend?
Charlemagne does not lie for his friends. If you're in trouble,
do not call him because you will be in the doghouse. Well, yeah,

(32:59):
and when it comes to trouble with your old lady,
for sure, you know. And I was telling y'all story
from about this about seven years ago, maybe seven eight
years ago, and I had had a partner of mine
and his baby mom called me one Saturday morning, like
six thirty seven in the morning, you know, asking me,
was he with me the night before? And I said
absolutely not. And the reason I said absolutely not is

(33:19):
because number one, I don't know what he was doing
the night before. The way she sounded in her voice
like it sounded like he could be doing more than cheat.
That brother might have robbed the gas station. He might
have robbed the looking store, he might have robbed the bank.
He might have did something he had no business doing,
and I didn't want no parts of it. I will
not be in alibi because the thing about a lie,
when you tell one lie, you gotta constantly keep telling

(33:39):
other lies in order to cover for that first line. Now,
if he would have hit me up and let me
know the situation prior, then maybe it would have been
a little different. Probably wouldn't have answered the phone altogether.
But the fact that you didn't tell me at all, no,
I don't condone that. Plus, black men don't cheat. So
you know, if you're getting caught up in situations like that,
and I'm judging you, I don't want to be involved
in your mess. Don't bring that energy in my life.
I'm over here trying to protect my pe. Some part

(34:00):
of protecting my piece is not having to lie. And
if I have to lie, I'm gonna lie about something
that benefits me. Not something that saves you. If I
have to lie to save you and I feel like
I'm getting in the way or whatever God is it
is trying to show your aunt No, I think that's faint.
You gotta hold your people down there. Yee yes, it
was the last time you had to lie for a friend,
you know. I haven't had to do that in a while.
I'm trying to remember. But I definitely was the go

(34:22):
to person that everybody always said, I'm with Angela. And
I used to have to lie all the time, especially
in college. I had a house with three of my friends,
and every time one of their boyfriends would call, if
they didn't answer the phone or they couldn't find them,
everybody would always call me and ask me what was
going on. So I became an expert at it. So
ANGELI is a liar. Expert liar, I mean back in

(34:44):
the day with my friends. Yeah, with my girls, and
they always would give me a heads up too. I
can't lie for you if you don't tell me what's
going on. Give me If you give me a heads
up and you let me know, hey, and it'd be simple,
you know. And I think that's the key, right is
keep it simple, and so my friend to be like
just say I'm with you and then that's it. Yeah,
or you were with me or the best lie for

(35:05):
me back then was I think she's sleeping, but I'm
asleep too, so good night. Whoa. Now that's I'm coming over.
I'm coming over. When you lie to me like that, now,
I'm not coming that actually did that? Actually did happen?
When that actually did happen. One time to wake her
up was FaceTime that FaceTime me right now. I'm a
FaceTime you right now. I want to see you sleeping. Yeah,

(35:29):
that was the call waiting days. You can only do
that when there wasn't no iPhones and when the last
time you lied for a friend your wife's listening. I didn't.
I haven't had to lie for a friend, as babe.
Right now you have bige basket. I haven't. I haven't
had a lie for a friend. I mean, my friends
are pretty good out there. I mean, other than shout

(35:49):
the DJ Mono, let me shout out DJ Mono, DJ
Mono starting today on one oh five three to beat
in the Lane must be the single, one, single one.
But I had to I had to lie for Mono.
A couple of a couple of times. But you know
what I do, Um, I don't answer the phone when
any when I see a number at seven o'clock in
the morning, I do not answer the phone. Text me,

(36:09):
text me first, let me see what's going on. First,
let me feel what's going on, and then I might answer.
But besides that, Nope, I'm not answering everybody out there
lying for their friends. Just keep it as simple as possible. Yeah,
keep it very simple questions and then you gotta go. Well,
let's go to the full line. I want to say
something real quick. A man, a man that will lie
for his friends in regards to their cheating, will lie

(36:31):
to you about his cheating. Think about that when you
call up here this one and people eight hundred five
eight five one five one Hello, who's this yo? This
is siler Ay Tyler. What's going on? What's going on? Man? Man?
Got cold? Man? That's going on? Talk to me Tyler.
That mean you gotta hold your god there right for

(36:54):
my holy Charlotte man. Yes, it has yes, it has it.
You need notice. But your guys, if my homie girl
gonna call me that instantly is a red flag. And
I'm like, oh, sat Okay, something going on. But I'm
twenty nine. So I'm at that age where you know,
we gotta do that. We're still macking on women. We

(37:14):
gotta do. You gotta look out for you guys, man,
no matter what. Cool I agree, I agree with you.
Your man's called you. You gotta hold them down or
you just don't answer the phone. I take two all day.
Just don't answer the phone and text you man. Yo, bro,
you're good, come on, miter g you are. I'm forty.

(37:35):
I'm forty two. Five seven years ago I was thirty five.
I wasn't in that space. Well, I could just lie because,
like I said, a man that will lie for his
friends in regard to cheating, will lie to you about
his infidelity. Got hit him. He's just't pointed in you
here this guy? Thank you? Brother? Hello? Who's this? Hey?
I'm Astley Askeley. What's the last time he had to

(37:56):
live to sound like your most Ashley? Okay? Um, it's
been about five seven years ago. Now, okay, So a
friend and I were out to meet drinks and men. Um.
She was meeting an old friend and on the way there,
my friends now ex husband had called me. Now, I

(38:18):
don't even know how he got my number to begin with.
But he was like, hey, it's such and such with you,
and I was like, no, it's like what she said
she was with you. So then I was like, oh,
well I had to drop off my kid's dad first,
so I'm gonna pick her up after her. He's like okay,
So we ended up meeting at the spot and the
dude he shows up anyway, so apparently he had a

(38:39):
tracking device on her. Anyway, he never found out that
she didn't ride with me because she did ride with somebody.
But I mean, yeah, it was just a big mess
exactly if do you want to be a part of
that mess? Think about all of that. Who wants to
be trying to protect your peace and you all in
that chaos? I know? Well, I mean I don't talk
to her anymore now I'm solo because she's messy and

(39:03):
she wants you to buy for her. That's not what
friends do. Well, yeah, like you said, she didn't get
me your heads up, I had to come up. I'll
talk so yeah, no, yeah, that's all we ask for,
is that heads up. If you need me to lie
for you, I just need to know what's happening. In
this lie And what am I saying? That's all? That's right.
Don't just ask me to rap on the spot. I
don't want, I gotta I need to have some writtens

(39:23):
for pets. Time ain't a good freestyle? Or eight hundred
five A five one on five one. When's the last
time you had to lie for a friend? Call us up? Now?
It's the Breakfast Club, Good morning morning. Everybody is j
Envy Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club.
We're asking when is the last time you had the
lie for a friend? Now? This comes from Lou Williams.

(39:44):
He of course is in the NBA bubble. He got
an excuse to go to a funeral, but then he
went to his favorite restaurant, Magic City, a strip club.
So we're asking eight hundred five A five one O
five one, when's the last time you had to lie
for a friend? Now? What happened with Jack Carlow? Jack Harlow,
Jack Harlow. He first had posted a picture of himself
with Lou inside of Magic City and hanging out, and

(40:07):
then he later on tried to backtrack and say it
was an old throwback. He just was missing him dropping
a fool's box for Jack Hallo. Let me tell you
something that is a lost art. You know, that's a
lost art. You know, lying for your guy as a
lost art. I don't condone it, but salute to the
people out there that are still, you know, running interference.
But you got to give your people's heads up. You
can't just have your boyfriend or girlfriend cold calling people

(40:31):
saying is they with me? Because my liar? And before
he lied, he should have checked with Lou Williams, because
Lou Williams then told the truth like, yeah, I was there,
I was in and out. You know, I had my
mask on. I went to go pick up some food.
Y'all know that's my favorite restaurant. So now you look
crazy because you told a lie that plus he had
the face mask on that was from the NBA. Plus

(40:52):
plus in that situation, Luke should have told Jack, Yo, Jack,
I don't post that. I'm not posted up for hire.
You know what I'm saying. I'm not supposed to be
here like that have to happen as well. Yeah, well,
let's go to the phone line. Hello, who's this? Yeah?
This anonymous? Oh boy, anonymous. For the last time you
had to lie for a friend brother who, let's say yesterday,
man should ask when I don't likee man. Me and

(41:16):
my homeboy live for each other so much. We got
twenty years together. We can't even take our girls on
double dates or nothing like that because we ain't trying
to have them talk about none that we supposed we
did together, or we went through this third we did this,
so we did that. So one time we did go
out to eat together black, we may show one of
us was at the table the whole time. We ain't

(41:37):
both go to the bathroom because we ain't trying to
have them talking and talk about something that we supposed
we bosed to be doing together, and we ain't never
even did it. So that's my ladies, that is a
short fire sign your man is cheating on you. If
he doesn't want you to know his best friend's girlfriend.
If they try to keep y'all separated and apart because
they didn't want y'all to link up and discuss things,

(41:58):
we're not gonna he we just talking something. How old
are you king? King? How old are you king? I'm
twenty five? Bro, you're not tired of that lifestyle yet?
You're not tired of that messy ass lifestyle. Yet huh no, man,
it's fun right right now. Man. And let me tell
you something. If you are somebody's girlfriend and then you
go out with his best friend and he got different

(42:19):
chicks with him and he's cheating on his girl, best
believe it's happening in the other way around too. Nah.
But yeah, we just don't let them talk. But yeah
on Facebook, no group tech message or none. That we
can't even go on vacation together. We don't want that
any going in the same bathroom and talking on all that. Man.
So I keep up with my boy, my boy doing
for me. Man, But that's all excuse my lady, gonna

(42:40):
last the Carter movie burned down about to link up
right now, girl, it's definitely gonna come down to it.
Definitely definitely getting burned down. One thing, just off topic, man,
tell Timberland and switch beat to them. Do two chains
verse TI, We need that two chains versus. Now we're
not listening in and nothing you say. Now you're lying. Hello,
who's this? Hey, this is Jim. What's up guys? Hey Jim?

(43:04):
What's going on? What's going what's going on? Guys? Yeah?
I had to life from one of my friends employees,
I mean not employees, but you know, like co worker
kind of deal. You know, you get friends with him
after time. Uh, he asked me. I guess he was
an addict. He needed he didn't have a car. He

(43:24):
needed a run up top and makes make a move.
And he needed me to ask the boss if I
could I didn't have a ride home, tell him I
didn't have a ride home, and then take the truck
home so he could have it all night to make
his runs. And you know, I did what I had
to do for him. But we had a plan if

(43:45):
he got pulled over or if he got busted or
in an accident, he had to run, run as fast
as he canny call me so I so I could
report that truck stolen, like on the spot, because I
am not thinking it more. But I'm gonna tell you something.
This No just sounds like to me, to mephatics lying

(44:05):
for each other. Okay, it sound like sound like Matthews opioids. Okay,
so but not no more. I come clean. Thank god,
you're clean now. But at the time, no, no, no,
this was this was about six months ago. I just
had to help my dad get on a gurney. He

(44:29):
had a seizure. He was cleaning out the mouth. Thank
God he's okay though. Every you know, God works some
mysterious ways. Man, but God bless him. God bless you guys.
Thank you for what you do. Okay, God bless you too. Alright,
the clean. So what's the moral of the story, guys.
The moral of the story is a person that will
lie for his friends, are her friends in regard to cheating,

(44:51):
will lie to you about their infidelities. That's all I
want to be part of that mess. Hold your friends
down and if not to have the phone, just don't answer.
So how about that? Just don't answer, don't do your
God Daddy like Charlomagne did. Just don't say that I'm
there for my friends when that whenever they need me,
if you need me a lot, No you don't. That's
a lot. That's a lot. Only regard the cheating. Because

(45:11):
they call you right now and they told you they
just robbed the bank and they need you to be
an alibi. You ain't gonna be there alibi. They call
you and they say, hey, I just killed somebody. I
need to say I was with you last night. You
ain't gonna say, okay, I got you. You're alive. You're
gonna tell on them. You ain't gonna sib to me either.
I don't remember. And guess what happens when you do
accessory that I said, don't ask, don't I don't remember

(45:33):
being accessory. If I don't answer, how can we an answer?
I was sleeping? All right? Now, we got roomors on
the way, Yes we do. We are gonna be talking
about Kanye West. He is apologizing to Kim Kardashi. And
I know y'all tired of all this Kanye drama, but
you know I gotta keep you updated. All right. We'll
get into that next. Keeping lock this to Breakfast Club.
Good morning morning. Everybody is seeing J MV and Angela, Ye, Charlomagnica.

(45:57):
We are the Breakfast Club. I would have loved to
see Chris Brown and Usher do the battle, but Brown
said it ain't happen. He ain't doing it. You never
know that. People always say that and then something changes
their mind. First of all, First of all, first of all,
Chris Brown is an amazing performance. Dropping on the clues
BOMs for Chris Brown. Yes, not too many people have
been better on that stage ever. In the history of

(46:18):
of of dancing than Chris Brown. But when it comes
to music, which these verses are all about music, twenty
songs versus twenty songs, Chris Brown and Usher not even
in the same league. Okay, if you're gonna battle, if us,
she's gonna battle somebody, there's only three. There's only three
people in R and B who since I've been alive,
who could go against that catalog that Usher has. And

(46:39):
that's Mary Jane Blige, Beyonce, Jasell knows Carter And you
don't want me to say this, but Robert Sevesta, Kelly, Okay,
so so please stop disrespecting Usher and his catalog. Usher
has not Listen listen. I have to disagree though, because

(47:00):
Ris Brown has a really, really a way. I feel
like he has a bigger catalog he does, and he
has some really big hit songs like such a big
song he had too Old Yeah said he had New Flame.
I mean, he has some big, big hit songs. I'm
not gonna lie. And even just his guest appearances, he

(47:21):
has some really big ones, uh you know, collab albums.
He had Kiss Kiss Take You Down. But no, guy,
is this one of Is this one of those times
where y'all just being corny and being again. Now, this
is really how I feel, Chris. You cannot deny that
Chris Brown has some huge hit songs. No, he does
have hit songs, and he has bigger records. I can
see that, and I don't think he's different records. Also

(47:44):
has nine number one singles, you fools, records. I don't
think that. What are you talking about? I don't think
that's a disrespectful battle at all. And I'm being honest,
I don't. I don't think it's disrespectful. And I'm not
gonna let y'all get my blood pressure up about things
that I know. Okay, I know what you no one
on My Way and Confessions Part two or three of

(48:05):
the best R and B albums of all time. And
unless your name is Mary Jane Blige or Robert Sevesta,
Kelly or Beyonce, justsell knows Carter, Uh, you don't have
anything for usher. Okay, you're talking about my boot, you're
talking about Yeah, you're talking about Confessions Part two. You're
talking about Nice and Slow. You're talking about you Got
It Bad. You're talking about burn, you're talking about you
remind me. You're talking about you don't have to call.
You're talking about my way, You're talking about you make

(48:26):
me wanna. I don't mind Superstar. There goes my baby.
DJ got us falling in love? Like, what are we
talking about here? This is Usher? But Nobody and got
twenty records Chris Breeze, he got. I didn't say you
don't have twenty nobody. That's all you think that I think? No,
I think I'm listening. Don't wake me yea. The twenty

(48:49):
Chris Brown has don't compare to the twenty Usher has,
And I think that y'all are picking quantity quality. Okay,
great records, let me miss huge song. Chris Brown has
one of the greatest R and B songs up Life,
which is back to Sleep. I love Back to Sleep.
But Chris Brown dropped the record with forty Songs about

(49:10):
a year ago. Name one of the songs off that album.
Name one of Usher's last singles that he put out
on his last album. They both put out. They both
put out an album that songs, but they both put
out an album last year that you Can't Tell Me
One If that one't either, I don't. I didn't know
I should put out album lat ye oh no, he did.

(49:30):
He put out that secret project. He did. Like I said,
we could go both ways, you know what I means.
But I can name Usher's last hits though, the Climaxes
of the World. Okay, the omgs. Yes, I should have
been putting out that's just been putting out records, moving
mountains with the dream. I's just got some joints. But
my point is Russier and Chris Brown should not be

(49:51):
in the same conversation. They just shouldn't stop. Now. If
you're talking about performing on stage, that's a different ball game.
But when it comes to music, just music twenties, no,
come on, man, uh, I don't know. I could see
the two of them battling each other. I could see that,
and I could see that being a good one. Chris
Brown got a top ten record right now on the charts. Bro,
that's cute. That's the TikTok record too, that everybody was

(50:13):
dancing to it. Like like, Chris Brown is still putting
out records that are smashing that these kids love. Like, like,
what I got to do? You catalog? You just it's
just about about Chris Brown's record. You had to google that,
you old beige bastard. Shut up everybody trying to sound hip.
I played every morning. I played Chris Brown, Young Thug
every morning. That's the benefit of being the DJ. You

(50:35):
know what's hot and what's not. So why you couldn't
name that record just now? When I asked you five
minutes ago, you asked off the project, that project that
wasn't even it's the new project with Young Thug. Yes,
and it's a top Why you ain't name because you
didn't ask me about that one? You didn't ask twenty
songs versus twenty songs is about catalog, all right, it's

(50:57):
about all time great smashes. He's not playing that record
with Young Thug. Asked me about his last and if
if he does, and if he does, you will get watched.
You asked me what I tell you about the record?
You say, well, you can't talk about you asking about it.
I didn't ask you about that record. Ask you about you, guys.
I told you about the records on the way. Yes,

(51:19):
we are going to talk about Kanye West, same league
and his apology to Kim Kardashian. All right, we'll get
into that next. Keeping locked this to Breakfast Club. Good morning.
This is the Ruble report with Angela. Yet well, it
looks like Meek mill is single again. Him and his

(51:41):
girlfriend Milan Harris have split up. He put out a
statement on social media. We me and Milana decided to
remain friends and build our child as separate parents. We
still have mad love for each other, but we both
came to an understanding. Meek and she basically posted Brianna Taylor,
let's bring some more attention to Brianna Taylor and making
sure those cops get locked up. They just had their

(52:02):
first child together, a baby boy, back in Mayer. Why
Meek felt the need to announce it, I mean from
his post, it seems like he wanted to put it
out there before the press seeing him doing something or
seeing her doing something and mixed up their words. So
he just wanted to put it out there. I guess, yeah.
It could be Also sometimes if you're like dating somebody else,
you don't want to make it look like you're cheating
and disrespecting the other person. So maybe you just want

(52:24):
to let people know. Look, he's free to do what
she wants. I'm free as a member of the press.
Guy can let you know if I had a shadow
of a doubt. I had no idea you were even
in a relationship. I never thought about it. Okay, all right,
Well George Foreman has weighed in on what's happening with
this Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Junior fight. Now. Mike
Tyson spoke on how this fight even came about. He

(52:47):
came about He talked to TMD Sports and said this,
at one time, I was just ninety pounds overweight. I
was doing bad. I was doing cocaine, I was drinking
after a lot of usually has stopped me from being
this way, I'll change my whole life. And eventually I
got married. My life started to change, and I started
working out. And my brother in law said, hey, listen,

(53:10):
I know you don't want to fight, but would you
fight Bob Sap? Somebody wants to offer you a lot
of money to fight Bob sat And I was saying yes.
And for some reason, it was from Bob Sap to
somebody else to this guy and they saying now I'm
in the room now. September twelve is Roy Jones Now.
George George Foreman has expressed it he is concerned about
the two of them fighting. They could get injured, potentially

(53:31):
the fight's going to be happening on September twelveth. Here's
what George Foreman had to say on TMZ Sports. There's
a time when you gotta worry about your health. But
it's a beautiful thing that they would even come out.
But I hope one does not hit the other. Strange
things happened to you as the years go by, and
all of a sudden, your grandkids call your name and

(53:52):
you're like, Grandpa, don't you hear me? I would just
tell them it's really dangerous, But when you make up
your mind to do something like that, you can't tell
them don't do it. They're not gonna hear that. Yeah,
George's right, and they're not wearing headgear. And I will
say this too, man, I don't know who's gonna win
this fight, but I know the Roy Jones Junior disrespect
I've been seeing online. Lets me know that y'all are
just casual boxing fans who don't know anything about the

(54:14):
Sporter boxing. Okay, don't let don't don't let Mike Tyson's
Instagram videos fool you. He looks great, all right, But
I said last week on this radio, Roy Jones Junior
had a better boxing career than Mike Tyson and was
a better boxing than Mike Tyson. And people were literally
under my YouTube comments saying I was tripping, and it's
simply because I know what I'm talking about, and y'all don't.
Y'all don't watch boxing, but I'll tell you this, you know,

(54:36):
and the one thing about boxing, one lucky punch landed
in the right position, right spot will knock anybody out.
So I just hope those two brothers will change their
mind wear face masks because they're old and they get
hit and they might not never get back up, So
I pray that they wear face mask and kind of
take it easier. I don't want to see the fight,
but I want to see the fight. The last time

(54:57):
Mike Tyson fart was in two thousand and five. Roy
Jones ji the last time he fought was in two
eighteen February twenty eighteen, and people were upset with you
and me for calling Roy Jones and Mike Tyson old
because they said that both of them are in better
shape than you and they can still whip your ass.
That was another thing I saw Friday in the comments. Yeah,
they both were in shape, but I wouldn't box right now.
I definitely wouldn't take on the box because I don't

(55:19):
want to die. You know, we don't heal the same
where we get a little older and they are both
older than I am and they are going full blown
punches to each other's heads. I don't want to see that.
Maybe that's how don't want to go though, but I
just I do want to salute Roy Jones though. Man,
he had four belts in four different weight classes, middleweight, superweight,
light heavyweight, and heavyweight. He was named the Fighter of
the Decade in the nineties. He's one of the greatest

(55:40):
boxes of all time. And if you ever saw him
in the ring, you would you would you would liking
him to Patrick Mahons at the quarterback position. Okay, that's
the kind of unorthodox stuff Roy Jones used to do
and you'd be like, how the hell did he do that?
So for anybody out there who remotely thinks Mike Tyson
had a better boxing career than Roy Jones, you just
don't know what the hell you're talking about. Yeah, his
prime Ray Jones is my favorite boxer, So you want

(56:02):
to see what happened. Ever, like, come on like stop
guys like y'all, y'all get so caught up in the
hype of things. Kanye has apologized to Kim Kardashian on Twitter.
He said, I would like to apologize to my wife
Kim for going public with something that was a private matter.
I did not cover her like she has covered me.
To Kim, I want to say, I know I hurt you.
Please forgive me. Thank you for always being there for me.

(56:24):
And that is in response to all of those tweets
that he had put out about their daughter, Northwest, who
was their first daughter, and everything about it. He needed
he needed to apologize publicly week mill so, they said
Kim was furious with Kanye after he revealed at the
rally that they had considered getting an abortion after she
found out she was pregnant with their daughter north in
twenty twelve. And in addition to that, Kanye West has

(56:48):
visited a hospital. They are saying that basically he's just
been overwhelmed by everything that's happened. They said. Reportedly, he
visited the hospital, he stayed inside for about ten minutes,
and a short time later, an ambulance arrived on the
property but left without Kanye Yeah, he needed to apologize.
Is he gonna apologize the fans for lying about dropping
this past Friday? Well, it happens all the time. Happens

(57:12):
all the goddamn time. Yeah, we don't know what the
reason is. So I mean, if you really thought it
was gonna go down and you know, apologize to yourself.
All right, I'm Angela Yee. Can you feel like sucking
all the air out of the headlines? Um, he'll He'll
do it again shortly. All right, I'm Angela Yee. And
that is your rumor report. All right, thank you, missie Charlemagne.

(57:32):
Whore you giving that donkey too. We need a judge
in Michigan named Mary Ellen Brennan. Judge mary Ellen Brennan.
We need her to come to the front of the kangation.
We like to have a world with her. And we
gotta do a little petty party this morning, a little
call to action people. All right, all right, we'll get
into that next keeping lock this to breakfast club. Good morning,
you get you are. I'm gonna fatten all that. They

(58:04):
want this man to Stolten Blowers man. They're waiting for
Charlomaye to tops to make a judgment. Who was going
to be on the Donkey of the Day. They chose
you because the breakfast club Bitchy h was Donkey of
the Day Today. Talky Today from Monday, July twenty seventh
is going to Oakland County Judge Mary Ellen Brennan. Now
Oakland County is in Michigan, And I feel bad right

(58:25):
now because we live in this era where there's always
so much information to consume. There's always so much going
on that you read headlines and keep it moving. All
You read headlines and it doesn't register what you as real,
so you just keep scrolling past it. And to tell
this weekend, actually this morning, if I'm being honest, this
is one of those stories. For me. See, I had
read a headline a while back, and thanks to one

(58:46):
of our producers, Dan, he let me know this story
happened on July fourteenth. The story is that a young
fifteen year old girl had been arrested for not doing
our homework. And it sounded so unbelievable, and it was
so much going on at the time that I just
who passed it, didn't even think about it, like that
can't be real. But I didn't do any digging. But
this weekend. I noticed it on social media a little more,

(59:07):
and this morning another headline jumped out at me and
it's from July twenty one, and it says a Michigan
judge denied the release of a team who was jailed
after not doing her homework. Trigger warning for anyone out
there with a heart, for anyone out there with any
type of empathy for other humans, this story absolutely makes
you want to beat people up. This story absolutely makes

(59:28):
you want to punch somebody in the face. Let's go
to WDIV NBC four for the report police speaking up
for a Groves High School student named Grace who can't
be her. I know that if Grace was a fifteen
year old white girl, that she would not be sitting
in juvenile detention right now. Sherry Crawley has teen daughters.
Her heart sank when she heard that Grace was in

(59:49):
the juvenile justice system for fighting and stealing, and then
she broke down when she heard that Oakland County Family
Court Presiding Judge Mary Ellen Brennan sent Grace to juvenile
to ten for violating her probation by not doing her
online school where the judge's decision causing a firestorm of controversy.
Governor Whitmer issued an executive order that specifically talked about

(01:00:13):
not incarcerating children during this global pandemic, And this situation
does exactly the opposite of that. Oakland County Prosecutor Jessica
Cooper telling this quote. The controversy involves a family court
judge's decision on a case she took jurisdiction on a
while ago. Only she can change or modify the order. Okay,
she was on probation and had been in juvie for

(01:00:33):
fighting and stealing. You go to juvie for fighting and stealing. Now,
you're not much fighting and stealing I was doing when
I was fifteen years old? Like, what happened to iss?
What happened to getting paddled? Okay? What happened to getting
one days suspension on days that they had big high
school sporting events? Okay? To go to believe it or not.
Stuff like that for the most part, cause you to
act right, all right. We weren't going to jail at fifteen,

(01:00:55):
or even being put in a police custody at fifteen,
unless it was for something like bringing drugs to school? Okay,
are a gun things of that nature? Okay? For fighting
him stealing at fifteen? Get you, Julie in probation. Now,
we're not even giving these kids a chance. We're setting
them up for a life of failure if we're putting
those kind of shackles on them at that age. And
to violate the young ladies probation because she didn't do

(01:01:17):
her homework. Not doing your homework is considered a violation
of probation. Okay, can you believe that? Are they acquating
homework to having a job, Because when you are in probation,
you have to keep a job, So I guess if
you don't find employment, you could be violated on your probation.
I've never known anyone this has happened too, But since
I was on probation for over ten years in my life,
I know the rules a little bit. So are they

(01:01:37):
equating not doing homework to having a job. Inquiring minds
would like to know, Judge Mary Ellen Brennan. I'm sure
you have daughters, maybe granddaughters. Nieces Hell, you were fifteen once,
you are fifteen year old little girl. Once what if
somebody threw the book at you like that for mistakes
you made at fifteen because a young woman didn't do

(01:01:59):
her homework. She has to stay in juvenile detention. She's
on probation for fighting and stealing. She don't need to
be in Julie. She needs a hug and some opportunity. Okay.
Who knows what unresolved trauma she has and her that's
causing her to fight. Hell, she might just be trying
to survive. She might have some emotional issues going on.
Who knows. This is why Sela is so important to
having schools. She may be stealing because she's hungry. I

(01:02:20):
don't know what the reasons are, but I know at
fifteen it's nothing that can't be corrected. But you don't
want to correct her. You want her to be traumatized
even more. You want to make her an animal. Okay,
when you take a hurt person and don't offer them healing,
you hurt them even more. And that hurt person takes
that unresolved trauma back into the world and they continue
to hurt people. And now the state has years and

(01:02:40):
years of free label from this young woman because no
assistance was offered to her at an early age. Look,
this is what we need to do. We have to
have a petty party this morning. We have to call
Judge Mary Ellen Brennan the math. Her number is two
four eight eight five eight three one eight three. You
can call that number Monday, Wednesday, Friday from eight thirty

(01:03:01):
am to four thirty pm. That's two four eight eight
five eight three one eight three. And on Tuesday and
Thursday call this number two four eight eight five eight
h three five five from eight thirty am to four
thirty pm. And when you call the man that fifteen
year old Grace be released from juvenile detention immediately. Okay,

(01:03:22):
she should have never been incarcerated, all right, Failure to
complete and oh and say this this, This is the
talking points they want you to say when you call,
call and demand that fifteen year old Grace be released
from juvenile detention immediately. I just said that. And she
should have never been incarcerated. Failure to complete school work
does not make a child a threat to the community.
You must dismiss her case and return her to her mother. Okay,

(01:03:43):
she should receive the support in resources she actually needs
at home. I agree. This is a damn shame that
Grace is in juvie because she didn't do her homework,
all right. How many white kids have lied about dogs
eating their homework, all right, based off that lie locked
the white kid up and the damn dog. All right,
y'all gonna stop doing little black kids like this, And

(01:04:04):
Judge Mary Ellen Brennan, you should be ashamed of yourself.
Please let Kathy Griffin give Judge Mary Ellen Brennan the
biggest he hall. Please give this giant jarro mail a
little biggest he hall. I'm gonna have Breakfast Club page
post a lot of this. I'm gonna post this on
my Instagram too. But you can contact the Attorney General

(01:04:26):
and the prosecutor in the case. You could call Judge
Mary Ellen Brennan. You can email her clerks okay at
s at slaton K s l A t O n
k at oakgov dot com. Are six m Jacobs are
at oakgov dot com. But this, this is a travesty
of justice. There's no need for a fifteen year girl

(01:04:46):
to be in juvenile attention because she didn't do at homework. Like,
come on, that's ridiculous, very how do people get away
with this? Yeah? Right? And having a having power, Well,
thank you for that donkey today. Now when we come back,
let's open the phone runs and that we had a conversation.
Let's argue a couple of minutes ago about Chris Brown
and Usher battle. I don't argue now Charlemagne goes into

(01:05:09):
his whole thing about who didn't say nothing about washing.
I didn't say that about say that. What I simply said,
what I said verbatim was Chris Brown is an amazing performer.
Not too many people have been better on that stage
than Chris Brown. But when it comes to music, just music,
which which versus is about twenty songs versus twenty songs,

(01:05:31):
Chris Brown and Usher not even in the same league.
And if you're gonna battle Usher, there's only three people
in R and B in my lifetime who could go
against the catalog Usher has, and that's Mary Jane Blige,
Robert Sevesta, Kelly and beyond stage yourself knows Carter. And
you need to stop disrespecting Usher in his catalog by
saying that Chris Brown and Usher um are in the
same league, because they're not. Chris got a lot of

(01:05:53):
good records, a lot of records. He has a lot
of great to say, a lot of good records. He
has a lot of great Okay, all right, I even
say that he has a lot of great recor. But
guess what, us got a lot of classic records, like
certified bona fide classic bro like you got nine number
ones on the Billboard charts. It's a different level of
person we're talking about with us. You. I think that
we forget how great Usher was just because he hasn't been,

(01:06:15):
you know, on that level in the past few years.
But it's hard to be on that level, you know
how big Usher was. No, I'm not saying nobody's saying this.
I'm just saying that that would be a good battle. Now,
I'm not saying that Chris Brown would win, but that
would definitely be a great I don't I don't think
it's just respectful. I don't think it's a disrespectful battle
at all. I would say that I would put them

(01:06:36):
in the league where they could go against each other. No,
I would say they would go good against each other.
It's entertaining for verses because it'll bring a lot of
viewers in. But I'm just talking about it. We're talking
about matchups musically. Musically, no man beyond us, Robert Kelly
and Mary Jane Blige are the only people that can
match up the Usher's catalogs talking about five eight five

(01:06:57):
one on five one. Let's open up the phone lines.
It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast Club. It's
topic time phone called eight hundred five eighty five one
oh five. Want to join it to the discussion with
the Breakfast Club? Talk about it morning. Everybody is DJ

(01:07:18):
Envy Angela Ye, Charlomagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club.
Now if you just joined us, we're having a conversation
about Chris Brown and Usha. Now h this versus thing.
Everybody's been talking about it all weekend. Now Chris Brown
already said it's not gonna happen. He'll only battle himself. Correct.
So we're asking eight hundred five eight five one oh

(01:07:39):
five one, Chris Brown, Usher, who are you taking? Now?
Charlomagne is taking Usher? He thinks it's it's not even close.
Do you myself? Um right, Okay. Chris is amazing. You know,
he's an amazing performer. Not too many people who have
been been on that stage than Chris Brown. But when
it comes to music, which versus are all about any

(01:08:00):
songs versus twenty songs, there's levels to this classic musically,
and I think that Chris Brown and Usher are not
even in the same league musically. Okay, if you're going
to battle Usher, there's only three other people in R
and B that I've seen in my lifetime who can
go against that catalog, and that's Mary Jane Blige, roberts In,
Vesta Kelly and Beyonce. Just Sell knows Carter, that's it.

(01:08:21):
You're talking about My Way, eighty seven on one and Confessions.
Those three albums alone, My God, Like, there's not too
many R and B singers out there who have three
classic albums like Ushia. You're talking about a man that
has nine number one singles on the Billboard out one
hundred and nine over one hundred million records soul worldwide.
I think we forget how massive Usher was. Bro and

(01:08:43):
Chris is Gray forgets that amazing. Nobody forgets that, But
Usha nobody forgets that. I think Usher is great at
what he does, and I think Chris Brown is great
what he does. Ushia has more records that I can
connect with. But as far as a battle, I think
it would be a great battle. I don't think anybody
washes anybody. I think that I did not say she
would win. I said she didn't say that you said

(01:09:04):
that twice. I didn't. I did not say that Russia
has a lot of records and it is a great performance.
I never said you said Ushia would have win. I
never said I didn't think twice. No, I didn't. I
didn't say USh would win. I said Usher is a
great competitor. I said I never said Usher win, because
I don't think Usher would have Dan roll the tape, Dan,

(01:09:26):
if you could pulle tape, pulle tape. I never see
I want your bike, I want your bike. If you
said this on I want your bike, I want your
bike the short and the shorts. I want the bike
in the shorts running the tape, Dan, there's no tape.
Because I never said Usher would win, mean that Chris
Brown would win. I said Chris Brown is a great competitor.
I talked about all the records Chris Brown has. I

(01:09:46):
talked about all the albums that he had. I talked
about all the number ones and all the records that
he put out in his last number one. Never said
he win. I never said he would win. I said,
hold on, hold on, So who wouldn't win? In because
just now you said Chris Brown, I wouldn't win. No,
I've said Ussher would win. That's what I said. That's
a bike, the goddamn bike. I don't want the bike.

(01:10:07):
I'm coming through. I don't think get the bike today.
I want I want the bike. You never said that
I want the bikey what I need the bike? I
never said Chris I want would win. Now. I never
said Chris Brown would win. I said I got that text.
He got that text from the light skin commission, the
beige commission. I know it's but come on. I never

(01:10:30):
said Chris Brown would win. That's that's what I said.
Chris Brown has a lot of number one records. I
said he has a lot of huge cataman. Are y'all
listening to me? Are ya listening to are you listening
to yourself? I want the bike. I want the bike.
Bet me the bike. You just bet me the bike.
Are you offered you button? I ain't say nothing about you,

(01:10:50):
but you threw the button there too. But now tell
me you didn't throw the button. Now, emmy, I can't
wait see you here this later. Everybody tweet envy everybody.
I never said Chris Brown would win. I said us
share it would win. I just said Chris Brown has

(01:11:11):
some records. It would be a great battle. What do
you think. I think there'll be like five or six
rounds that will and definitely go to Usher, But I
think the rest would be depending on what goes against
what that's a I think it depends on I think
it depends on what songs they match up against, you
other against each other. But I think Usher has like
at least six rounds that will be like, Okay, there's

(01:11:32):
no competition with these, But then I think it'll depend
after that. I think us she got like fifteen rounds,
what is there's really no competition, and then even if
you throw in the features, like even like say, like
I know Chris Brown would have to play New Flame
and Party Rights, but us she's on both those records
on New Flame Parties. So which way do you go
with that one? Well, it's Chris Brown's song, right, yeah, yeah,

(01:11:56):
So I guess give that to Chris Brown. And I
just also want to Chris Brown has nine I mean,
Usha has nine number ones on the Billboard charts as
a lead artist. That's incredible, bro. And when we're talking
about it, Loving this Club used to be my favorite song.
So but you're also that you're also talking about age too.
You're talking about the amount of people that grew up

(01:12:18):
with Ushia and the amount of people that grew up
with Chris Brown. There's a lot of people that grew
up with Chris Brown that don't necessarily respect or listen
to Usher's music and vice versia. I disagree because I
think R and B is timeless. R and B is
not like hip hop. So if you're an R and
B fan, nine times out of ten, you do love
those artists that came before the Chris Brown's. Like, you
didn't just start liking R and B because you know,

(01:12:39):
you got turned on the Chris Brown. You started like
an RB because your mom and your dad that's what
they were listening to when you was a kid, because
that was the only thing safe to listen to. They
couldn't write. Even my dad, even my dad likes Chris Brown.
My dad'd be like, Oh, I want to hear this
Chris Brown song because R and Because R and B
is timeless, R and B is like, it doesn't really
have a generation thing, Like if it's a certain type
of R and B, you're into that certain kind of army.

(01:13:01):
I think depending on what clown plays it. I think
with you as a winner. I think Deuces is a winner.
I think Strip is a winner. I think Um Back
to Sleep as a winner. It just depends. It depends
on what it's up against. But I think those are
things that he could he could win with those songs.
New Flame definitely. Um. Younger generation grew up with Chris

(01:13:21):
Brown and have a love for Chris Brown. That's that.
But now our generation has a love for us, so
it's better musically. Musically, Well, let's go to hello. Who's
this yo? Yo? Family was good did as it died there.
I've been siller, I've been skilling man dog of these haters.

(01:13:44):
I ain't gonna lie. I'm gonna jump on the topic
when I'm gonna touch up use for a quick pet
of game. I ain't gonna lie. Maybe trade souls that
Chris Brown could be a little better competition, I mean
not usher. Well, since I said that, let's get to us.
Let's get to the real view to walk or yo um?
I want partitive, faithful middle community, blackmail community. I've been
down for for for good seven months. Somebody came out

(01:14:05):
my past trying to throw a monkey rich in my
in my relationship, saying that they had twins by me
and the babies. If like, oh we can have old congratulations, Bro,
Well what you need to do? You need to turn
on that Usher confessions. This wasn't my girl, This wasn't
before my girls. I met her as a clinic. Tell me,
while your boy just beat two bodies, Bro, she's trying

(01:14:28):
to get in the old type on a tension front me.
But she's seeing you on the Graham taking care of
what you mean? You beat two bodies, two bodies, and
I'm about the Yeah, you make me want to just
hang the phone up on you. Eight hundred five ain't
five one on five one with talking. If this versus
batt would happen, who would have win? Chris Brown or Usher?

(01:14:48):
It's the Breakfast Club, Good morning, Call me and you
into the Breakfast Club top one morning. Everybody is DJ
Envy Angela Yee. Charlomagne the guy we are the Breakfast

(01:15:11):
Club Good morning. If he just joined us. We're talking
about Chris Brown and Usher? Who would win in that battle?
And listen, I know that for entertainment purposes, you know
what I'm saying. This would be a good battle because
you know Chris Brown's name is huge. Usher's name is huge.
But I'm just talking about music. We aren't talking about
nothing else. We can't talk about who's a better performer
on stage. We're talking about twenty songs versus twenty songs.

(01:15:31):
When it comes to twenty songs versus twenty songs, Usher
and Chris Brown are not in the same league. Okay,
when you're talking about battling Usher musically, it gots to
be Mary Jane Blige, Beyonce, yourself, Nos Carter, and Robert
Sevesta Kelly. That's it. I would say this. They both
have twenty records that they both can play. It's just
a matter of what twenty records that they play. I
think it would be a great battle. I don't think

(01:15:53):
that Usher mean and Chris Brown can't can't battle him,
can't be in that battle, can't be in that realm.
They both have numerous hits. But at the end of it,
I think Usher would win, but Chris Brown could definitely
battle whatever. Without it down with you. We gotta stop
seeing that too. We gotta stop saying they both have
numerous hits. You could do Usher. Usher has numerous hits.
He has nine number ones, Chris Brown too different, But

(01:16:17):
that doesn't matter. That hits. Chris Brown got a couple
of hits. Well, you're saying number one hits, but Chris
Brown has number one hits. He hits the charts. He's
talking about number one because number two and still be
a hit. I'm just talking. When you talk about songs
like my Boo, you're talking about Yeah, Confessions Part two,
nice and slow, you got it, bad burn. You remind

(01:16:38):
me you don't have to call my way. You make
me want to like these songs I'm naming on top
of the mind awareness. There goes my baby. You know
what I'm saying, Say the same girl, even though you
probably don't want to play that because all Kelly's and
I don't mind. I don't mind thanking you like. It's
just like certain songs. It's just like you as soon
as I think. But Chris gott excuse me, miss, he
got popping, he got runned, he got kissed kids, he

(01:17:00):
got with you, he gotta take you down. He got
a bunch of look at me now, he got deuces,
he got striped. She ain't you? He got joints too, poppet,
run it, Kiss me now, don't need to be nowhere
near a battle with Usher, Poppet, run It, kiss it
and look at me now, don't need to be nowhere
near a battle with us, right, But there's a lot

(01:17:23):
of people out there that love those records, that grew
up on those records. You're coming from a different age group, bro,
Bro Poppet, he didn't when you run it was he
was fifteen? Ranny, Ranny? What is he gonna plays if
he was fifteen or not? What's the joint? What was us?
His first song called the first, the very first one? Um,
thank you? What the think of you? I think thank

(01:17:44):
of you? It was think of you? I would think
of you. Washes run It much more mature record, That's
all I'm saying. Let's go. I mean Confessions was a
classic album. I can't. You can't take away anything. Nobody's
taking away nothing from Usher, but just don't take anything
away from Chris Brown. Let's go to the lines. He
know who's this? You ve? Musical? Hello? And what's up? Bro?

(01:18:05):
Talking to Chris Brown? Uh? And Usher? Who do you
think us? Hands down? My brother? Okay, I don't I
don't even see what the debate is. But whatever, I
don't need to shaw, I don't. I'm just curious. How
old are you on forty one? Oh? I know you're right,

(01:18:25):
you know you know that's that's that's your age. Thank
you want it. We're talking about you got it bad.
We're talking about take it slow like you grew up
on us. That's what you're supposed to sound. Chris Brown
got hit like like Charlemagne said, but us you got
classic like. I would tell somebody the other day to
ask somebody like, how many how many classics? The Little
Wayne hat? He got a lot of hits, but very

(01:18:48):
few classics. Oh, I don't know about that. I think
Little Wayne got some classic songs. He gotta talk about
that on another day. He definitely does well. Thank you
for cola. Hello, who's this star? Hello? Who you think
Chris Brown? Or Usha? Chris Brown? Of course? Why why
do you say Chris Brown? And how old you? Because

(01:19:09):
I'm twenty nine years old and I'm a big Usher fan.
I'm a big Chris Brown fan. I love them both tremendously,
but honestly, I feel like going head up. Chris Brown
has passed his way like he's a phenomenal artist. He
has so many hit records. He's been on the bear
board so many times. Us your ass too, But Chris Brown, Like,
what's some respect of a man's name. Chris Brown not

(01:19:31):
the one getting disrespected us. No, I sho ain't getting disrespected.
Everybody says us Catalog. It's great, but you make it
seem like Chris ain't even can't even tie his shoes.
I didn't say that. Musically, Usher, it's a great artist.
He he's not there anymore though, he's not like he's
still a big man. But like you say, he hasn't been,
you know, really doing anything. Yes, Chris Brown hasn't had

(01:19:55):
a stop yet. He hasn't had a break yet. All right.
By the way, some problem right there that people don't
respect that people don't respect Catalog because saying that Usher
is not doing anything right now has nothing to do
with his legacy. Versus is about legacy. But you the
one that brought it up a second ago. It's like
they just when you released a forty record album and

(01:20:16):
this you brought that up. Oh No, what I was
making the case for was quality over quantity. Chris Brown
puts a lot of music out, a lot of music,
a lot of records, he's from a different scooming, just
a lot of just putting out a lot of music. Now. Yeah,
And just because you have twenty songs, don't mean that
those twenty songs you're gonna play will compare to the
quality of the twenty songs Usher will play. It's just

(01:20:39):
a difference. But if it ever happens, you'll hear it.
I don't think it happened, but we got rumors on
the way. Ye yes. And let's give you an update
on what's happening with Tamar Braxon her briefiness speaking out
about her recovery after her attempt at suicide. All right,
we'll get into that next. Keep a lot This to
Breakfast Club. Good morning the Breakfast Club. It's Angela yet Club.

(01:21:11):
Taylor Swift has gifted Kobe Bryant's daughter Natalia cardigan. That's
for her new folklore release. You know, the Bryant daughters
are huge fans of Taylor Swift, so she sent her
a cardigan. That's in honor of the release of the
video for Cardigan, one of the songs off that new album.
That album, by the way, hits held one point three
million copies across the world in just twenty four hours,

(01:21:33):
so Natalia said it was obsessed. But Taylor Swift's new
album when she got that cardigan as well. And if
you guys remember back in twenty fifteen, Kobe was on
stage at the Staples Center for the stop there of
her nineteen eighty nine world tour and uh. Taylor Swift
also had the Briant family backstage during the Pasadena stop
of her Reputation tour back in twenty eighteen and took

(01:21:54):
pictures with Natalia and Gigi. So nice, nice gesture, n suggestion.
But Kanye's on you. Okay, I'm gonna let you finish,
but I know you could do better than that card. Again, Kanye,
let's go see what you got. I mean, the girls
are huge fans of Taylor Swift, so I know, but
it's another ending competition between Kanye and Taylor. Taylor dropped

(01:22:14):
the project Friday, on the same day that Kanye is
supposed to drop by the way, right and so little
at one point three million yep, a secret project she
dropped on Friday. Wow, And is this? I don't know.
They got something going on. So Kanye, it's on you,
all right, Let's do some better than that. Cardio all
right now. Tamar's boyfriend has released a statement about her
recovery and he said, on behalf of Tamar Braxton, I

(01:22:37):
want to thank her fans and the public for the
ongoing thoughts and prayers. Tamar is a beautifully talented women,
a devoted mother, a loving girlfriend, a dear sister, and
a special friend to countless people. This is an extremely
difficult time for Tamar and her family as she navigates
professional and personal struggles, including her battle with depression. So
that is her boyfriend David speaking on her behalf and

(01:22:58):
prayers up for Tamar. Many ingcourage, y'all investing your mental
wealth so much, you know, don't burn yourself out and
just stay mentally and emotionally. Biz Markie has been hospitalized
for weeks with the mystery illness. They said it was
triggered by his type two diabetes. They said it's not coronavirus.
According to sources close to Bismarki, he was diagnosed with

(01:23:21):
diabetes back in twenty eleven. He's currently receiving treatment in
the Maryland area hospital. They said his condition is unclear,
but he did lose one hundred and forty pounds back
in twenty fourteen, after he was diagnosed with type two diabetes.
He changed his eating habits and he sought a healthier lifestyle.
So we are praying for BISMARKI right now, definitely praying
for Biz the bis Man, one of the nicest brothers

(01:23:43):
you're gonna ever meet on this planet. Great energy always
flew to the og Biz. All right. The Soldier Boy
appears to have removed all of his face tattoos. You know,
he's been talking about how he's going to turn over
a new leaf, and he did post a video on
his Instagram showing that he has no tattoos on his
face anymore. He also has a porter link available for
a surprise project that he's going to be putting out

(01:24:05):
on his birthday, which is July twenty eighth. Yeah. I
don't think people realize that, you know, when it comes
to tattoos, you really are making a permanent decision based
off a temporary feeling. All right, Because there's not no
tattoo on my body right now that I could care about,
and I had these four twenty plus years. I actually
want to get them all removed. So yeah, all right,
all right. Justin Bieber visited Kanye West and Wyoming, and

(01:24:28):
he was the latest celebrity to fly out to go
ahead and do that. They actually shared a picture. Kanye
Well shared a picture of him and Justin Bieber is
sitting with Damon Dash as they talked about Yeasy and
the latest innovations. In the meantime, Kanye is shooting a
video on his ranch in Wyoming. As though, I don't
know how exhausting was that conversation you mean bb in

(01:24:51):
the middle of Dame Dash and Kanye Mercy. Did Bbe
even get a word in? Probably not. Now you know
that Kanye was tweeting about how a little bab he
wanted to get a verse from him and it wasn't happening.
He wanted to work with him and collaborate with him.
So Little Baby says he never heard anything about that.
But he also said just recently that they have one
hundred thousand dollars. He said, I'm a feel offended if

(01:25:13):
you want to verse for me, but don't got one
hundred kre respect my hustle. One hundred k cheap. By
the way, do your streaming research. Yeah, it does seem
like a hundred kids. Back in the day, an artist
of a little baby statue would at least be getting
I would think, who knows, maybe three hundred four in
a thousand for a feature, right. I wonder if he
would charge Kanye I would he probably would, all Right.

(01:25:35):
Octavia Spencer is saying that Hollywood needs to increase their
casting of people with disabilities. Listen to this, PSA. Nothing
can replace lived experience and authentic representation. That's why it's
imperative that we cast the appropriate actor for the appropriate role,
and that means people with disabilities as well. Asking able

(01:25:59):
body actors and roles for characters with disabilities is offensive, unjust,
and deprives an entire community of people from opportunities. So
this is all part of a campaign that coincides with
the thirtieth anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. I
agree with her, but I said this a couple of
weeks ago, and people thought I was crazy. It's just

(01:26:21):
like when you have homeless When you have actors and
actresses play homeless people, why not give an actual homeless
for us in that role, and then you're putting some
money in their pocket and possibly helping them get on
their feet. If it's a drug addict or a recovering
drug addict, somebody who's actually had that experience. Why not
let them play that role. Then that way you can

(01:26:42):
offer them some help and some assistance, I would think. So, right, well,
you know, I think as long as they can accurately
portray the role as far as acting, because sometimes it's
not even easy to act as what you are in
real life. That's how people would tell you that. So
they might feel like, Okay, you're homeless, now go on
there and do that. But it is still a role,
and but you have to have some type of training,

(01:27:02):
right And yeah, and that's the other thing too. I mean,
if it's the is there are I don't know, are
they disabled actors? I don't know. Yeah, I'm sure, I'm
sure there Okay, so I'm sure that there's some some
people who used to want to act, but not their
homeless so they sty got some acting chops. You know
what I'm saying. Go, yeah, no, it's not That's what
I'm saying. As long as they can accurately do the

(01:27:22):
role and make it happen and it looks good on
camera and on the screen, because that matters too. So
it's both all right, Well, I'm Angela yet, and that
is your rumor report. Once y'all find out how much
these guys and girls really get paid, you're not gonna
want to get involved, right unless it's like a huge role.
You're not really gonna make no money. All right, Well,

(01:27:44):
shout to revote. We'll see you guys tomorrow. Everybody else
to People's Choice mixes up next, get your requesting right now.
It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning. Everybody is DJ Envy,
Angela Yee, Charlomagne the Gay We are the Breakfast Club.
Now you finally back? Now coming back to the US,
did you have to do test? Like? How did they
do it when you came back? Now? Actually I came
back from Mexico, and no, they didn't make us do anything.

(01:28:05):
I'm gonna be honest. Like we landed and just we
had to fill out a form when we were getting
into Mexico just about whether or not we come in contact,
whether we had tested positive before. They take your temperature
to see if you have any high temperature. But that
was about it. Nothing. But I would say when we
were in Mexico, the whole entire staff at the Five

(01:28:27):
Beach Resort, they all had on masks. The entire time.
They have this machine you walked through and to get
into restaurants and stuff like that. We spent around and
it's a disinfected machine and they do take your temperature.
We went to the green opening of Rohan Marley's Beach
House and Preto Morellos, and they definitely took our temperature
before we were able to walk in. They dare shut

(01:28:49):
it down though, because there were some protesters. And you know,
I think it was only allowed to be at thirty
percent capacity. That's the rule, and it's like there was
a bit more than that. Wow. Okay, all right, We'll
glad you're back. You head now anytime soon, because you
like to go. You like the booget move, you know what.
Like I live here by myself. I don't have any kids.

(01:29:11):
I could come back home and quarantine by myself, so
who knows. But I was able to do my show
from other places. I'm like my own little technician, bring
my little kid, set everything up and everything work fine.
So now that I know that, oh boy, if I
can move around safely, I will, But I think I'm
gonna sit tight for a minute. All right, all right,
when we come back. We got the positive note, don't move.

(01:29:33):
It's the Breakfast Club. Good morning. It's time to get
up out of here. Charloman, you got a positive note,
I do man um. This quote comes from the Great
Desmond too too, and he talks about tolerance and he
said that a person is a person because he recognizes
others as persons. Breakfast Club, you don't finish, so y'all done.
